SCP-2875 The Town that got ██████ by bears object class keter

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter is to be established 2km from the center of

███████, WI, and no non-Foundation personnel are to pass this limit.

Mobile Task Force Lambda-2 "Chain Gang" is to oversee containment of SCP-2875.

Updated Containment Procedures: Due to recent findings, only MTF Λ-2 approved equipment

is considered acceptable to dispatch SCP-2875-A instances.

Under no circumstances are any personnel to attempt to dispatch an instance of SCP-2875-A

with a firearm, incendiary device, or other unauthorized implement.

Description: SCP-2875 is a phenomenon occurring only in the town of ███████, Wisconsin.

At noon every three days, between 50-100 fully grown adult Ursus arctos horribilis (mainland

grizzly bear) will appear throughout the town.

These instances are not anomalously strong or fast, or anomalously hostile, and will

generally act like any other member of their species given the situation.

The phenomenon appears to be cumulative; the instances (SCP-2875-A) will linger around

the town center for a short time before dispersing, and more instances will appear three days

later.

Due to the potential scaling issues of the bear population growth, it has become imperative

to dispatch the new instances as quickly as possible.

Currently the only feasible means to dispatch SCP-2875-A instances is by using a highly

concentrated aerosol tranquilizer spray, and then a blunt instrument with which to cause

trauma to the cranial region, as killing any of the instances using a firearm or incendiary

device results in two new instances appearing next to the corpse of the deceased instance.

As such, only Foundation standard motorized blunt force devices have been permitted for

use against the instances, with other blunt or bladed weapons being permitted per MTF

leader instruction.

Discovery: SCP-2875 was discovered by Foundation containment teams sent to investigate reports

about the sudden disappearance of an entire town of people.

Upon arriving at ███████, the situation quickly became apparent when the

town was observed as being flooded with SCP-2875-A instances.

Initially the containment teams had prepared to move all of the instances to other habitats

outside of ███████, but when the recurring nature of SCP-2875 was discovered,

the current containment procedures were established.

MTF Lead Note: I know plenty of you think that this is some kind of joke, but a town

of constantly appearing bears is serious.

Can you imagine what would happen to the local ecosystem if we let this thing go?

It was like a goddamn bear arena when we first rolled in, and that was only after a few days.

Addendum 2875.1: Collected Voicemails

The following voicemails were recovered from a mobile device found in a cave outside of

███████. The owner of the device has not yet been verified.

hey guys NateOne23 here and welcome to another video for today I'm going to be

playing some more Roblox so yeah today I am coming at you from a different angle

today we're gonna be playing a new game called yeah this is a actually this is

such a new game that it's actually only a demo game this is a set for released

in 2019 so this is basically call of duty zombies inside of roblox but so

that's pretty cool I like the idea and I think people should expand on that so

let's just get into it I'm sure most of you know what oh my gosh they actually

used they actually used names from call of duty zombies pretty much let's play

nacht der and totin so I've played call of duty zombies before I don't know if

any of you guys have but I have it's with with my friend Jakob it's a really

fun game I like it and I'm sure a lot of you would if if you're allowed to play

it oh this is great oh this is totally great oh my gosh they

totally recreated nacht der toten this is Thoth this is cool what the heck I

wonder if they recreated those zombie patterns as well I know this is a newbie

to do but I'm buying so the mystery box is supposed to be

inside here if there's a mystery box in this game yet but I can totally see why

this is still in beta they even they even redid the I oh this is great they

totally recreated call of duty zombies oh I just got two in a row this it's

easier to headshot them because they are so slow I guess headshots work really

well in this usually when you knock off their heads and call it in zombies this

is random that's when you kill them but just not

here you know open this oh there is a mystery box dude

dude that's so cool so this is just like call of duty zombies where eventually

headshots don't work as well

well I have to get a better gun I don't know what that is

ah this looks like a better gun okay where did he go oh I'm glad you didn't

die money I'm like oh so on this channel this is the closest we're gonna get to

playing call of duty zombies probably are you kidding me

are you actually kidding me do you have to keep clicking in this game to reload

oh this guy's angry oh gosh oh no okay five rounds that's pretty

good for the first time I guess it's not good at normal call of duty zombies well

I got rough quickly so that was way more fun than I was expecting what the heck

I'm going in here alright so this is my window I guess because everybody else

has already taken Windows except for the animation in this game is amazing

this is one of the best roblox games that I have seen when our thought

explodes now so I'm pretty sure the role in nach der toten was the mystery box

that was one of the ones that didn't move business was the first call of duty

zombies map so okay let's made her pass round five because that's the last one

that we survived here this is a lot easier to kill

number six we made a path we didn't make it past number five last time come on

this game has so much lag but this is such a cool I think it's funny how they

use the actual zombies out oh my gosh

oh come on dogs are you kidding me

yeah that was lucky

seems like the windows have people aren't guarding there's the ones that

they all attack there's no I hasn't zombies are just frozen

I got you buddy

whoo this is hard run 9 where's the other guy is he out here all alone

this gun is so slowly

oh boy this is so fun oh my gosh run round ten come on we can't die now I'm

gonna try to make it past round ten oh my gosh

7 Best Pelvic Stabilization Exercises (Moderate) - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 9:34.

hey everybody it's doctor Jo, and today I'm going to show you my top 7 moderate

pelvic stabilization exercises. so let's get started.

So these moderate exercises, or some people call them

intermediate, you know not the beginning ones not the end ones, the ones in the

middle, these are for stabilizing the pelvis. so it's something like maybe have

had an SI joint dysfunction, and you were out of alignment. you've got yourself

back in alignment. you want to stabilize the pelvis to get it strong again. so

that's what these are for. I do have a basic video so if you're not quite ready

for the moderate or the intermediate go ahead and check those out. and if you

haven't already make sure and click on the subscribe button. so some of these

exercises are just going to be a step above some of the basic ones. so we

started off in the basic with a simple bridge, so now we're going to do a single

leg bridge. so once you've mastered that just regular bridge, you're going to go

into a single leg. what's important with a single leg bridge is try to keep your

pelvis or your hips level. if you feel like you're dropping the side with the

leg up, you're not quite ready for the single leg yet. so what I mean is I'm

going to just bring one leg up and go into the bridge. now mine are pretty

level here. if they were weak, probably what would happen would be this if you

feel like this is happening and it's not level you're not ready for those single

leg bridges yet. so it's the same concept

where you want to kind of go up one segment at a time. you don't have to stop

at each segment, but you want to make it a smooth up and a smooth nice and slow

coming back down. you can put your leg all the way up. you can just bend it up a

little bit. I like to kind of have it straight out just to get it out of the

way. so you're coming up little, pause at the top, and then nice and slow coming

back down. you can place your hands on the floor if you need to, but you don't

have to. so just coming up and then nice and slow coming back down. so you can

start off with just about 10 of those do each side because when you're trying to

stabilize something you want to work both sides, even if just one side is the

painful side, and then you can work your way up from there. so the next one is

going to be kind of progressing the clamshell. so with the clamshell

exercises the biggest thing that you want to do, I'm gonna prop up now for the

moderate ones if you are uncomfortable like this make sure you lie down, support

your head. you don't want to get something else hurting because you're

supporting yourself in a bad way, but you want to keep your hips perpendicular to

the floor. so they're not going to roll back, they're gonna stay up this way. so

if you feel like they're rolling back, you're probably not ready for them yet. so

it's just like the regular clamshell except this time instead of your feet

being on the floor, you're gonna bring them up into this position. they're still

kind of staying together, but you're keeping your feet up. now if you want to hold

onto your hip here to make it a little bit easier to know if you're rolling, you

can. you can just put it down this way as well, and then you're just gonna lift

that knee up and nice and slow coming back down. so by lifting your feet up off

the floor, it makes it a little bit harder to stabilize. it makes you have to

work a little bit harder, but still try not and roll back. so if you feel like

you're rolling back, again you're probably not ready for this one quite

yet. so again I would just start off with maybe 10 of these, then flip and do the

other side, and then once those become easy, you can kind of work up from there. so

then the next one is going to be a side plank with a leg lift. so again we're

just kind of progressing these exercises. so when you're doing a side plank, you

want to try and get your whole body in a straight line. so you don't want to be

sagging down, you don't want to be up, you don't want your bottom to be sticking

out. make sure that elbow is kind of in alignment with that shoulder, so you can

keep that shoulder stabilized and not injure that as well. so you're just going

to come up. kind of you can put your hand on your hip if you want to make sure

you're in a straight line here, and then you're just going to lift your leg a

little bit off of the other one. just a little pause 2 to 3 seconds, and then

come back down. if you feel like you're starting to sag your hips down like that,

again you're not quite ready for it. but just up, it doesn't have to be a high

kick, and then just nice and slow coming back down. so again you might just wanna

start off with 5 on a side and then if that becomes easy, you can do

10-15, and if all that's easy, then you can bump up to the next one. so now we're

just going to stay on our side, but we're going to do that fire hydrant motion, but

in side lying instead of on quadruped this time. so still kind of keeping that

elbow up underneath there. you can go ahead and straighten out your legs. you

can bend that bottom one if you want to wherever it's most comfortable, but the

top leg now you're going to bend it up to where your hip is almost in a 90

degree position, and that your knee is almost in a 90 degree position. so just

up and down like that, keeping it like this and then you're just gonna open up

like that. so it's that fire hydrant when you see a dog going up to a fire hydrant

kind of thing, and just opening up that hip.but you can see my legs starting to

drop down just a little bit this way. try and keep that knee up if you can. so

you're really getting that movement at the hip, but it's not rolling back. again

I'm trying to keep my hips perpendicular to the floor, and I'm just opening up and

then coming back down. so again just starting off with 10 to 15 of those and

then working your way up from there. so the next ones are gonna be standing up.

so the next exercises is gonna be sidestepping with a resistive band. so

this time you just want to take the band, and put it right around your ankle. so

down by your feet. before you get started you want to make sure and kind of get

your pelvis in a neutral position, or set your pelvis so a lot of times the

easiest way to do that is squeeze your booty muscles in, and that kind of sets

everything. so you want to try and hold that the whole time you're doing that

and that's gonna help stay and stabilize that pelvis. so keep your legs straight

this is just kind of a side stepping motion. and so you're gonna step out kind

of make a big step and really gently bring your other leg back in. so don't

let it fly back in, you're just doing sidestep, sidestep, sidestep, sidestep. so

you can go ten steps one way ten steps back. if you don't have a lot of room you

can just do one step this way one step back, but you want to keep your legs

straight with this one. you want to set the pelvis, keep it in a good neutral

position. so you have to think about a lot while you're doing it, but really try

and activate those muscles together. engage them together, and that's what's

gonna make it stronger. so the last two are going to be on a step. so the next

exercise is going to be a hip hike. you need a step for this. it doesn't have to

be this tall, and make sure you have a railing or something to hold on to or

somebody there with you if you're doing it for the first time because you might

feel a little unstable while you're doing it. so for the hip hike, you want to

get to the edge of the step where one foot it's hanging off and the other

one's on there. so it's kind of just how it sounds, you're going to hike the hip

that's off of the edge. so what you want to do is not necessarily bend your knee

and go up and down because that's more like a squat on the step. you want to

drop that hip, whoa whoa don't do that. you want to drop your hip and then come

back up. so you're hiking it and you can see that it takes some balance. so if you

need something to hold on to, definitely hold on to it, but see how I'm dropping

my hip and coming up? it's not really using the other leg, it's hip hiking

going up and down. the movement is here. you can see if I put my hands here that

that's where the movement is. so again this is working a lot because if you

feel unsteady and if you're not holding on something, a whole a lot of muscles are

gonna be working. so make sure that you just start off with five or so, do both

sides, turn around. if you need to do the hip hike on the other side and then get

both sides in there and then progress as you need to. but again it's tougher than

it looks. so I wouldn't try it the first time not holding on because you could

see that there was a lot of balance stuff going along with that. so then the last

one it's just going to be hip circles but having it off the edge. now usually

when I have you doing exercises, I tell you to pull up your toes so that helps

lock out all the muscles. for these hip circles ,you want to point your toes

downwards. so you're going to point them down and you're gonna make the hip

circle as big as you comfortably can. so again if you need to hold

something, hold on to it, but really the movement should be at the hips, so you're

not kicking out and going out like that your hips and that pelvis has stabilized

and you're moving those hip muscles to get that circle. so pointing the toes,

going out and around, as much as you comfortably can, and then you can do ten

one way and then reverse that circle and do ten the other way, and then turn

around and do the other side as well. so there you have it. those are my top seven

moderate pelvic stabilization exercises. if you'd like help support my

What If Ythogtha Was Real? - Duration: 5:16.

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Today it's time for the next stop on our seemingly endless journey into the disturbing

mythos of Lovecraft.

We've talked about Nyogtha, we've talked about Yog-Sothoth, and now it's time to

talk about the creature whose name seems to be a combination of the two: Ythogtha.

Yeah, these videos give my tongue a workout.

Ythogtha is the second son of Cthulhu, who was imprisoned in the Abyss of Yhe by the

Elder Gods.

But what if he didn't exist in stories, but actually was out and about in real life?

Let's explore.

Now get ready, it's time to ask the question: What if Ythogtha was Real?

Now, as with our other Cthulhu videos, this video will assume that Ythogtha is the only

Elder God or Great Old One around.

So he won't have any competition on that front.

However, since he is rather dependent on his servants, we'll assume that his servants

are also real.

This means that the yuggs as well as their lord, Ubb, The Father of Worms, would also

exist.

Yes, the names sound disgusting.

And yes, they live up to their names.

More on them in a moment, but for now, let's talk about Ythogtha himself.

Ythogtha first appeared in The Xothic Legend Cycle series, written by Lin Carter.

He looks something like a giant humanoid frog, with a single eye in the middle of his forehead,

but he is much more disgusting, and far, far larger.

How large?

Well, when a sorcerer-priest tried to free him, he mistook his fingertips for mountainous

heads.

So he's pretty darn big.

As with other beasts from the mythos, he has a number of tentacles on him, forming a sort

of mane around his head.

In terms of abilities, there's little we can know from the literature.

Since he was imprisoned in the Abyss of Yhe, he didn't really get a chance to strut his

stuff.

However, we know a bit more about the abilities of his minions.

These minions were the Yuggs, large, flatworm-like creatures found underground, also known as

The Worms of the Earth.

They are able to interact with humans, and even transmit genetic information to them

through organic darts.

Although frankly, I'm not entirely sure what that means.

They're known to communicate with humans, offering them great wealth, in exchange for

cooperation, as well as sacrifices.

They're led by the large, slug-like creature known as Ubb, The Father of Worms, from whom

the Yuggs are spawned.

In the mythos, they worked to free their masters from their prison.

So, what might happen if Ythogtha was real?

Well, that would depend on whether or not he was imprisoned.

If he was free, things would look rather like they did with Cthulhu; he would be incredibly

dangerous, and would likely take over the Earth.

So, for the purposes of this video, we'll assume that Ythogtha is still trapped under

the Earth, and must depend on the Yuggs to spread his influence on Earth.

How might this affect us?

Well first of all, it might take some time to convince the general population of the

existence of the Yuggs.

The idea sounds pretty farfetched, and most would shrug it off as just another silly conspiracy

theory.

This would make it quite a bit easier for the Yuggs to infiltrate society, and influence

powerful people by helping them to achieve their goals.

Eventually, however, there's a good chance that one would slip up, and be captured, which

would allow even the most skeptical to come to terms with this strange new creature.

If we learned that there were giant worms that were bribing people with money in order

to gain their service, people would become even more suspicious of the rich than they

are now.

And that's saying something.

Currently, people on all sides of the political spectrum are engaging in numerous conspiracy

theories about the rich and powerful, with many believing them to be a part of some greater,

harmful agenda.

If we knew that some rich people got that way thanks to some freaky worms that were

serving a giant tentacle monster, it would change the way we looked at rich folks.

But even if we did learn about them, and we knew that they intended to harm humanity,

there are some who would still take advantage of their supposed generosity.

As we've seen throughout history, some people are more than happy to sell out their fellow

humans in exchange for personal wealth and power.

There's a good chance that the Yuggs would prioritize powerful leaders, with cult followings,

in order to influence as many people as possible.

If they were around nowadays, they would almost certainly try to tempt Donald Trump or Vladimir

Putin, or even the British Royal Family, in hopes of using their following to gain influence,

and perhaps release Ythogtha from his prison.

And, whether out of narcissism or greed, there is a chance that they would accept.

In order to limit the actions of the Yuggs, and to stop people from being potentially

corrupted, we might attempt to build devices that could locate and exterminate them.

Since they tend to be found underground, these would likely be small drilling devices with

that could sense the movement or digging of the Yuggs, find them, and kill them.

We might also find ways to detect them when they're about in the world, looking for

people to influence.

This could be either with technology, or simply training dogs to sniff them out.

However, it might be best to try to cut off the head of the snake.

If possible, there's a good chance we'd try to hunt down Ubb, to stop more Yuggs from

being created, and perhaps disrupt their structure.

Without Ubb, it's possible that the Yuggs would become disorganized, and might be easier

to deal with, allowing us to exterminate them and move on with our lives.

Otherwise, there's a chance that they would succeed, Ythogtha would rise, and humanity

would be in for a bad time.

And now we return to our question: What if Ythogtha was Real?

Well, his Yuggs would cause quite the problem.

Under the leadership of Ubb, the Yuggs would infiltrate world governments, by promising

money and power in return for allegiance.

If they succeeded, and Ythogtha returned, the world would probably be more or less doomed.

If, however, we managed to stop them, either by hunting the Yuggs down, or killing their

leader, then the world could begin to return to normal.

Or at least, as normal as it can be, with the thought of giant, conniving flatworms

floating around in our minds.

we've got two sausage links I guess let's eat those double do the beef!

Lots of bacon on here too!

Four minutes in gonna try to eat this bottom one with the bottom patty all

together!

Under eight minutes in we just got the top bun left which has some mayonnaise

the bottom bun had some mustard on it. Very very good with all that that burger

patty was awesome but yeah we've got pickles mayonnaise and this top bun

let's eat it and then we'll do the fries.

Ten minutes 45 seconds plenty of time!

12 minutes and 56 seconds the first person to finish the challenge so

obviously the new record awesome, awesome burger they've got great

reviews online and now I know why! Both of those patties were awesome the

sausage on there was great with all of that American cheese and then all those

healthy vegetables full of fiber and vitamins to help keep my system healthy

along with that Hawaiian bread. There was a lot of that but the flavor to it was

really really good! For winning I'm going to get the $40 meal for free I'll get a

sweet t-shirt down to my collection, and I'll be the first person on the wall of

fame, and for marketing purposes it's obviously going to be chosen the name as

the Randy Santel Challenge Burger so thank you to Busta's Burgers and More

here in Crosby for the opportunity to name the burger, very very excited to be
