How well does APink Son Naeun speak English? - Duration: 4:52.
How did you end up doing an English part?
You speak English, right?
So.. Naeun, you do it.
I was already designated.
Naeun got an English part for "I'm so Sick"
because her English is good.
With me, Jinger
let's talk about Son Naeun's English.
When I saw this clip, I thought
I don't care how well she speaks English.
I'm so jealous of people sitting next to her.
I wouldn't have been able to hide my excitement.
Son Naeun said
It's easy to be confused between 'give up' and 'give it up for'
It means you clap and cheer.
Like this.
The way she talks is pretty too.
I can feel how much she loves fans.
If you take 'fly by' literally
it means 'fly next to you and pass'.
Flying is faster than walking or running.
Whoosh
So, 'fly by' means
to pass quickly.
'I will be waiting for you.' is the future progressive tense.
Future progressive tense is about
something happening at a specific time in the future.
Naeun was talking about the time that Apink Tour would be happening.
I will be waiting for you.
She will be waiting for her fans during Apink Tour.
Since I mentioned a tense,
there are only past, present and future tense in Korean.
But there are 12 in English!
So, Koreans have a hard time understanding tenses in English.
No matter how hard you try, if you can't understand
leave it there
and take a break from it.
Someone might say 'What the heck?'
If you can't understand now
it means your English skills
haven't reached the level to understand it.
Honestly, I didn't know all the tenses in English
before I came to Korea.
Past, present, future,
past progressive, present perfect and a few more tenses.
That's all I knew.
While mingling with natives speakers
and watching TV in English
I acquired how to use English tenses
without thinking.
I use English everyday in America.
My English skills keep improving.
So, I have reached the level
that I could understand all the tenses in English.
If you try to explain the past perfect tense
to a beginner, it's like asking someone
who can do 5+5=10
"What't the answer for 578+237=?"
It's crazy.
Even though you don't know 12 tenses in English
you can still study other parts.
But some people don't give up and hang on to only one thing,
they get sick of it and give up.
I'm never going to be good at English...
Never do it please!
If you can't understand
skip it and
go back later. You may have a easier time
understanding it.
I experienced it myself.
You can also apply this
when you have a problem
in your life.
When a problem occurs, we keep thinking about it
and have a hard time.
But even if you can't take care of it right away
it doesn't mean you can't go on with your life.
Take a break from it for a while and go back
you may a solution
or it seems trivial sometimes.
When you look back at your life
something that made you feel greatly depressed
doesn't seem so bad
at times. "Why did I do that?" Lol
Some problems in the past are big and important, of course.
But sometimes 'Time heals your wounds'.
Even though you can't understand
some English knowledge,
don't be so frustrated.
Time took care of my problem
about tenses in English.
I studied English steadily.
So it happened.
I always say this.
Studying even little by little everyday will improve your English.

DAS! (NDR, 03.11.2017) - Interview Conchita (incl. subtitles!) - Duration: 30:41.
Glitz and glamour next to me on the sofa: Conchita - formerly Conchita Wurst - sitting next to me!
Conchita, I am so happy because you will also sing during the show!
Are you still a little bit excited before that?
Yes, I am, because the voice is a fragile thing, and I know we singers
annoy the world with our *cough* and *it's cold!* and whatever.
And because of the fact, that there could always happen something, you are always nervous.
I'm looking forward to the singing but of course also to our conversation now at DAS!
A wonderful good evening!
When she won the Eurovision Song Contest three and a half years ago with a brilliant performance
to everybody in Europe this suddenly was clear: A star was born!
As Conchita Wurst she has conquered hearts, wherever she appeared
or now only as Conchita.
Today's guest on the Red Sofa. Welcome.
Thanks for having me.
Where did the 'Wurst' go?
Yes, I said goodbye to my last name,
because the English do not pronounce it that nicely.
They say 'worst', like I'm 'the worst' instead of 'Wurst'
And I thought: Oh, let's leave that!
But Conchita stays?
Yes, Conchita stays, yes, for the time being.
For a very long time, Conchita, I thought about what to wear today
because you are always so perfectly styled.
And you too!
I can just do everything wrong!
You look sensational.
Yes, you have to say that now!
Is this self-made?
No no no.
I am in the happy situation that many designers in the world borrow their clothes to me.
And that's why I'm always allowed to wear such great things, but I have to give them back as well.
But you do not design and sew for yourself anymore? No time probably.
Not for a very long time.
Well, I design something in passing, something that comes to my mind, but
I have not sat down with a sewing machine for a long time now
Anyway, this looks great on you!
Conchita, would you be tempted by outer space?
There are people who are already on the list to go there.
No, not at all.
Funnily enough, I was asked this question not so long ago, and I
... no, I'm afraid of heights.
This is of course a very good reason!
But I think Conchita basically does not need outer space at all, with her
there is already enough going on down here.
Christine Durnau introduces her.
What a phenomenon: Conchita alias Tom Neuwirth.
And in addition to this such a powerful voice!
But I noticed very, very quickly that this look is also polarizing!
The ESC 2014: Her triumph.
Little Tom from Styria did not suspect that he once will meet the head diplomat
of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon.
Tolerance is the message.
But one thing was clear to the show talent early on: it has to be the big stage!
I always had - how shall I say - good vibes!
With that Conchita conquered the Sydney Opera House and today the Red Sofa!
She has already conquered it, already in the first minutes.
Conchita, when you arrive, so when you came here today, do you look like
everybody recognizes you immediately, or are you completely incognito?
No one notices: that's Conchita.
Well, you would recognize me, if I would already be in hair and make-up.
Actually, that was not the case today.
Firstly for time reasons and secondly: many thanks to the team of DAS!
Because I forgot all my make-up at home, and was well equipped here.
Thanks a lot for this!
Oh right, I was told that you got the make-up from us.
I would have thought you are not using anything other than what you normally do, which you usually style yourself with.
It's not really that I do not take anything else.
Only: one knows the products and one knows which brush one takes for what and then
you are relatively fast.
I do not know if you know this feeling: when you know EXACTLY that you have not packed something!
Yes.
And that happened to me on the plane today.
That makes you nervous.
Never happened to me before!
But I am very happy, thank you!
You look very good and are completely relaxed.
Do you enjoy it, when you are not recognized?
I enjoy it very much, if I am not recognized.
You have to be realistic and say: I'm not Lady Gaga, so even when I'm styled
and walk down the street, no knot of people is formed!
But there are situations where I feel good, that you do not know
who dances at 4 o'clock in the morning on the bar.
I read in an interview, that was not that long ago, and you said:
I have to kill Conchita.
Well, the bearded woman, I do not really need her anymore.
But you have not done it yet!
No, I did not do it.
And I also have a few things in mind with this fictional character and with this look.
I want to make my second album and of course I want to go on tour with it.
I want to evolve, and there are so many things I want to do
where I do not need a wig or make-up.
And that's why I once said that very luridly, that it could happen that
I end being Conchita.
I found that interesting.
But it can also be a step-by-step-kind of a farewell, you could also change gradually.
Cher makes 98 last performances!
Who knows, maybe it will take 20 years before I decide to leave.
You're on the road with a relatively new Conchita, it is called "From Vienna With Love"
with a huge philharmonic orchestra.
That must be a very different feeling than what you have done before?
Oh, it's a gift!
I really have to say: if you have the privilege to perform with an orchestra
you have to go down on your knees and thank whoever!
It's awesome to make pop music.
I love pop music and I like to sing that, that's very fine.
But then when these songs are immersed in this orchestral perfume, that's simply
something very different.
And that is an experience for me and I hope also for my audience, because it is ...
You can not attend orchestral concerts in a regular way.
And that's why I'm so happy!
And I have to say, something very special, so what topped it all,
was that you could perform this program at the Sydney Opera House.
Many dream of this their whole life.
How did that happen?
I said in an interview when I was in Australia for the first time:
At some point I'll play at the Sydney Opera.
And thankfully, the right people heard that.
And in fact it was realized a year later and it was like a dream sequence,
I have to confess.
And if I see the pictures today, it's probably a lot more realistic than it was back then.
It was such a whirlwind of appointments and emotions that you could ... I probably
did not really enjoy it back then.
But now we enjoy it together with our audience, we'll take a look at a clip.
Oh, I got goose bumps when I saw that!
Many Thanks!
If now German fans want to see you with this orchestra tour: where do they have a chance for that?
For one thing, 'tour' is almost a bit too much, let's try two concerts.
I play on 7th Nov in Berlin at the Philharmonie, and on 8th Nov I am here in Hamburg at the Laeiszhalle.
And yes, there are still a few tickets.
This is definitely an experience, something you should not miss.
Have you ever been in Rostock over the years, where you've performed everywhere?
No.
Not in Rostock.
No, I was not there yet.
So if you're there, you must make a detour to one of the main attractions of the city.
I do not know it either.
This is the astronomical clock of the parish church St. Marien (...)
Especially if you consider that back then the year 2017 was on this disc!
What would they have thought, how it looks today with us!
Have you ever wondered if you would like to have lived in another century?
Um, yes, but no.
Yes, I have thought about it, but no, I think everything is fine the way it is.
That's a good time we live in. Still.
Still.
I think there are many challenges to overcome, but yes.
Well, maybe in the 70's somewhere in New York.
In the 70s in New York?
A very short life with a lot of party maybe!
Of course, Conchita, many still identify you with this amazing victory at the
Eurovision Song Contest three and a half years ago.
In the run-up a lot has already been reported about you, you were already very much
known before it even came to the performance.
Did you secretly expect that you would succeed?
No no.
I went to this project 'Song Contest' with the only goal being that:
I introduce myself to the world.
I knew there will be journalists for two weeks from all around the world
which you will not meet in a heap like that anywhere else.
And I knew well that the media interest in me was very big.
And I thought: Everything that happens, happens.
But I can direct this and I can influence this.
If I manage to get my name out into the world then that's
a profit for me.
But what happened then: I did not expect that.
So, that the name got out into the world: that really happened ... and also very, very extensively.
No wonder, with this performance!
You can always watch it again and again!
Yes, I have to confess honestly: I can not watch this without getting goose bumps
or to be close to tears.
Again and again, although you've seen it so many times before?
Yes, it is so ... To whom does this happen?
Well, without sounding presumptuous now, but these are so big emotions
that I still can not describe until today what I am .. how to ... how to handle that.
I have no idea.
You probably just functioned, right?
Somehow it had to go on then.
Actually, I have no memories through my eyes, so I know all that
from videos and clips.
But I think that was a safety mechanism, because the body noticed:
Oh oh, she is going to collapse!
I think, then you carry on like on autopilot.
Didn't there something happen with the microphone that fell into the toilet?
Was that before or after?
It was ... I had to go to the bathroom for a very long time.
When people were ready with singing, they were brought to the Green Room.
And that was ... so this area, this Green Room, where the candidates sit after
they performed, and the backstage area where the restrooms are, that was so far away from each other
that we all had to be brought back and forth with golf carts.
And that did not work during the live show.
And we asked how much time we have, and I think we had 7 minutes to go
before I had to be back in the picture.
We looked at each other and I decided: I have to!
And then we ran through, and undressed and this tight dress ... and then
this in-ear set fell into the toilet ... before I was on it, just to make that clear!
But yes, it was very turbulent.
But it still worked obviously afterwards!
It worked, yes!
What a story!
Surely you were in Hollywood several times.
You have been everywhere after this performance.
I was once at the Golden Globes and then for some time in L.A., exactly.
Is that actually a dream of every artist, to leave a hand- and a footprint
in front of the Chinese Theater someday?
Yes, that would be great of course.
Well, I would not have dared to dream THAT, because I think America is
something quite different (than Europe).
But yes, why not?
Why not, exactly!
Yes, and I'm also very happy: Conchita is here and of course we also
want her to sing.
She does us the favour, here she is with her huge hit "Rise Like A Phoenix".
So beautiful, everyone is excited here!
So, you can listen to it over and over, and you can always sing it with the
the same fervour, right?
Yeah, well, I have to say this song was a heart's decision back then and I think
it's like having fallen in love, then ... well, you're in love forever.
You have a very, very strong voice.
What are you doing to keep it that way?
I could do more for my voice, to be honest.
I'm a bit lazy about vocal exercises.
But what I definitely always do is when I have performances, then I warm up.
So, there are diligent people who practice every day, and I'm not so hard-working, but for that
I definitely warm up, so I do not harm anything.
So yeah, you probably do not do anything that could hurt you, not consciously.
No, not consciously.
Are you actually a weather-sensitive person?
Are you someone who does not feel as good in autumn as he does in summer?
I have to confess that over the last two years I have noticed that winter
does not do me really well.
So that gets me down somehow.
I did not have that before, let's see how it will be this year.
Look, you're not alone there, and that's why (...)
Yes, that makes November more pleasant, such a delicious ice cream.
But you're probably always disciplined when it comes to food, Conchita?
I'm not really disciplined at all, I think I'm lucky that I am
I don't like sweet things so much.
I could always order a tray of cheeses.
But how about such a homemade ice cream?
Of course I have to taste it!
Welcome to the show!
And congratulations on your great ice cream!
Thank you very much!
What do we get served by you?
Here we have our winning ice cream: yoghurt-strawberry-cookie. And this is your favourite ice cream,
Tiramisu.
Oh, you are getting weak, right?
I just wanted to say that this question was put very clever in the preliminary talk!
Many thanks!
Yes, many, many thanks.
We will try this now.
And continue with the Yes-vember, that's a great idea!
Thank you very much!
In such a gray weather, I think you have more desire for something sweet than
when it is summer.
As I said, I am ... but you have to taste this!
Above all, I already thought during the clip, that this would be an ice cream,
that I have to eat!
So, try it!
That's pretty good, right?
Yes, good!
Conchita, you actually have to know a lot about food, because
your parents still have an inn.
Did you have to help out as a child or were you free of that?
No, I had to help.
Well, when I got older, I somehow found a way to get out of it.
I used to say: I sew all the buttons for you, if only I do not
have to go to the guest room.
That really is not my world.
But: family business, that's how it is, there you stick together, and I did that too.
I used to keep in the background, which sounds kind of absurd, if
you think about what I am doing now!
But I did not want to be so exposed, I was always in the kitchen with my
Mom and I did the dishes or something else.
It is told that you had a kind of a retreat in the attic where you liked to be.
And what did you do there?
Meanwhile, this story has been romanticized, I have to say.
I was sent to the attic because then they would not hear me sing so loud!
But: I understand that, because probably as a small child back then
I did not hit that many tones!
And I can imagine that there were some of the guests irritated about that.
But it was great for me too, because up there I was undisturbed, everyone else
were undisturbed, and so I could probably also train my vocal volume, because
I could scream around up there and nobody cared!
And you also said: your coming-out was not so easy, because there were many
people in the environment who did not understand it, they were not
as open-minded as it might have been in a big city.
How did you handle that and above all, how did your parents handle it?
It was a very special situation because I had my coming-out during a time when I decided
to go to a talent show, and was interviewed for that,
and I just talked about my love life in this interview, as it was or is.
And somehow I left my parents alone with it a bit, because back then I had a
very tight schedule and had rehearsals and performances etc., that means I was very little at home.
And so I left them alone with this final result.
And that's why we have not spent this very critical phase together, I think,
which was maybe not that bad.
But I know that they were concerned, and I know that it was unfair
to be impatient with them, because earlier I also had to ...
it sounds stupid, but: to accept it as it is!
At this stage, when I realized I like boys, I thought too, I was a mistake!
And: hopefully it is only a phase!
That's what I was taught by society, and it really took a while, until
I understood: I am not a mistake, and it is society that thinks wrong!
And I took a bit of this time from my parents.
They were taken by surprise.
Absolutely!
And that was difficult, but we all developed and learned.
And we are still a happy family.
What would you advise others?
Because you are certainly also a role model for many who are in a similar situation.
How to handle it: just tell about it earlier?
I do not know, no, I would not pin it at one point of time, because
some people first know what they really want from life when they're 40, and then that's the perfect time.
And that's why I think that has no date.
But I believe that patience and understanding should really matter,
and also reflection and respect.
And even if the worst happens, what can happen to a teenager or a child,
that the parents reject you: that is terrible!
But fortunately, there are institutions that can help.
And nothing is irrevocable, even if it's difficult for the moment, it can still get better.
Because you've done a lot for it, I have to say that, through your performances and through
your self-confidence, of course, you have contributed to the elucidation, and also to
the self-esteem of others.
That always flatters me when I'm told that, but it's hard for me to accept
because I did not have the intention, do you know what I mean?
I did not think: Well, and now I do this and set a sign.
But I thought ... I'm uncompromising, I just did what I wanted to do!
So, basically I'm really selfish.
Well, it happened like that, but it had consequences!
I am afraid that this will melt away!
I must confess that I am also tempted to take another bite.
We definitely have to take another spoonful, it would be pity!
We've just talked about it, you could say Conchita is something of an influencer.
That's such a buzzword, but in a way, you are too.
Yes?
Well, we can talk about that later, because we occupied ourselves a bit
with the word 'influencer' (...)
Yes, this word 'influencer' has spread so fast.
These are all personalities, interesting people, just like her.
How is it with you: did you notice, especially at the beginning, that many people
love you, and especially young people write to you and admire you?
Yes, that was actually quite early, even at a much lower level of popularity.
People were interested in me in positive and in negative respects.
And I always thought that was very touching when kids wrote to me
that in some way they were inspired to do their thing and to go their own way.
Of course that's amazing.
Are you active on social media?
Are you someone who reads through everything and also answers?
I'm really narcissistic, yes.
You said to me before the show, you like to talk about yourself.
I love to talk about myself!
I think that's great, I love guests like that!
Yes, that's what I know the best!
Yes, I read through this and also check what my fans post and so on.
Well, I'm quite interested but also a bit lazy at the same time.
Well, I actually read more than I post myself, to be honest.
You also said something interesting after the victory, you actually made a political statement, right?
You said you hope for peace and justice? It was something like that?
Exactly, I have this victory somehow ... because back then this Russian situation with the LGBT rights
developed somehow in the totally wrong direction ... I was so emotional
because of that, I also wanted to say with this victory: it does not matter what you look like,
where you come from, what skin colour you have, what you believe in.
You can achieve anything if you believe in it and if you work hard and if you have talent
and you're lucky and there's so much more.
But yes, I just wanted to say to many people who were very scared
at that time: you are not alone!
And there will always be someone who stands by your side.
And that's just what I wanted to say out loud with this victory.
That was a political statement!
Have you been addressed?
Well, were there people who would have liked to use you politically with this message?
Yes, yes, of course.
I also fit very well in certain parties or in their programs, and of course
that also was used gladly.
Well, how can I say ... I'm not going to get caught up in a political cart right now.
But yes, I'm a politically interested person, I think that's something you have to be
in these times ... no one can say that this passes by without
thinking about what happens, no matter which side you are on.
Alone, we have to say: 'which side you are on'.
But yes, these are very turbulent times, and it is important to be very attentive and to show
that it can really go the wrong way, if this goes on, the way this is developing.
You can really say that.
We noticed one TV appearance, which stands out from the other appearances.
That was when you were at "Kessler ist ..."
Michael Kessler has this impressive TV show, in which he gradually transforms
to the person he deals with.
How was it for you?
We'll also have a look at it again.
Oh!
Well, it was nice and unpleasant at the same time.
I thought of some things: Michael, I don't say that!
Oh god, that's what I say!
That was such an epiphany!
I could laugh my head off!
Was he right?
What exactly?
Well, that he does not get upset about anything anymore, that you do not get upset anymore.
Yes, no ... in truth, I get upset about myself very often!
Well, I'm really very self-critical and I have to stop that consciously
to watch everything I do, because you can not be perfect - but I want that so much.
And you're frustrating yourself very fast.
And that's why there is definitely ... I like to talk about myself, and in all
variations, good and bad!
That means you are also working on yourself, you are dealing with it because you have a certain image,
which you also want to match probably?
Yes, I do not know.
One of my biggest role models is my grandmother.
And she is my role model because she is the way she is without compromises.
And that way you do not make friends everywhere.
And for a long time I did not understand that this is such a great gift
if you can do this, to be truly yourself.
And to have an opinion sometimes that not everybody else easily shares.
And for that I admire her very much.
And she is definitely ... many people would say she is a difficult person.
Not for me, we understand each other blindly.
And I think that's kind of where I want to go.
I want to be just as glamorous and self-confident as my grandmother!
Your grandmother also helped your parents a bit back then when they found out
you are gay, she was an important person, right?
Yes, my grandma was the coolest of them all!
First, she said: well,
surprise, honey.
Congratulations, that you found that out!
And then turned to my parents and said: And you calm down now!
And it's not as bad as all that.
And your grandmother, does she have the opportunity to see you on stage?
Are you in close contact?
Yes, yes, my grandma and I have steady contact.
She is always at my concerts, and she always praises me afterwards with the words:
you sing so beautifully, but I do not understand you!
I do not understand you?
Because I sing only in English!
Oh, she does not understand the language.
Yes exactly.
And now I have a German song for her and now she is satisfied.
If she watches, she probably will not watch us now, but I think we should
greet her, that must be a fascinating woman!
Oma, I love you, you know that!
What's her name?
Maria.
Maria, I greet you too!
Well, I am really impressed by what Conchita tells about you.
Conchita, you'll be 29 on Monday, how are you going to celebrate?
I am preparing for my orchestral concerts and have rehearsals.
But I am very happy, because I am in Berlin and will be with very dear friends
and have dinner with them.
But we will keep it very solid.
So you probably have a big party when you turn 30?
Right, next year.
Thank you for being here, and being so open - even though you've done it so many times - about
yourself and your life and everything you told us.
With pleasure!
I hope your success continues.
Thank you very much!
Whether as Conchita or Tom, it does not matter.
We will see.

"Farmees, let's go meet Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee!"
Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee agreed to have a battle
For Tweedle Dum said Tweedle Dee had spoiled his nice new rattle;
Just then, down flew a monstrous crow, As black as a tar barrel
Which frightened both the heroes so, They quite forgot their quarrel.

For Tweedle Dum said Tweedle Dee had spoiled his nice new rattle;
Just then, walked in a walrus large, Wearing a black apparel
Which frightened both the heroes so, They quite forgot their quarrel.

For Tweedle Dum said Tweedle Dee had spoiled his nice new rattle;
Just then, swam by a dozen sharks, Singing Christmas carols

Facebook 'puts privacy first' and stock plunges 20%
Facebook's stock plunged as much as 24% in after hours trading on Wednesday after the company said it expects revenue growth to slow as it "puts privacy first" and rethinks its product experiences.
Wall Street's sharp reaction followed an earnings report that showed slower than expected growth in user numbers and ad revenue.
Overall revenue hit $13.2 billion for the quarter, up 42% from the same period a year prior but below Wall Street estimates. The stock rebounded slightly as the evening wore on, but the news clearly spooked investors.
The earnings report offered the clearest glimpse yet into how the Cambridge Analytica debacle impacted the business.
News that the data firm accessed information from as many as 87 million Facebook (FB) users without their permission broke in the final weeks of the first quarter.
Wednesday's rare moment of weakness came as investors watch the company closely for signs of lingering damage after months of bad press, user outrage and regulatory scrutiny.
During a conference call with analysts, Facebook CFO David Wehner said sales growth may decline as the company prioritizes new formats like Stories and offers users "more choice around privacy."
Wehner said a focus on "putting privacy first" in its product development process will likely "have some impact on revenue growth." Complying with sweeping new data protections in Europe also will have a "modest impact" on growth.
At the same time, Facebook expects its expenses to grow. Wehner said the company will invest "billions of dollars per year" improving safety and security after a bruising period of headlines about Facebook's role in enabling fake news and election meddling.
"We think that's the right thing to do for the business," he said. The comments echo a commitment CEO Mark Zuckerberg made last year to invest so heavily in "preventing abuse" on the platform that it cuts into profitability.
Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter called the sales slowdown a self-inflicted wound, not a result of users or advertisers fleeing the platform. "The fallout is coming from within the company in an effort to limit fake news, offensive information and security/privacy breaches," Pachter said by email.
The social network added 22 million daily active users globally during the quarter. That represents a slowdown from the 41 million daily users it added in the same quarter last year.

At the same time, Facebook stagnated or even shrank in some of its most developed markets. The number of daily users remained flat in the United States and Canada and declined in Europe.
Facebook had 279 million daily users there in the second quarter, down from 282 million in the prior quarter. It attributed the decline in part to the rollout of sweeping new data protection regulations there.
Even as they predicted slowing sales growth, Facebook executives cited a new figure to remind investors of its massive audience: 2.5 billion people used at least one of Facebook's apps (which include Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook) last month. "We believe this number better reflects the size of our community," Wehner said.
Facebook has found success with the three apps by emphasizing Stories, a visual and typically ephemeral format pioneered by Snapchat. But any benefits found there could come at the expense of ad sales growth.
"The question is will this monetize at the same rate as News Feed," Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's COO, said on the conference call. "And we honestly don't know."
