Go to the Nürburgring with a Boxster 2.5 L, worth it? - Interview - Duration: 6:08.

Hi this is Piston Kirk!

In my previous video,

we had seen why take a ride at the Nürburgring racetrack

is an experience to do at least once

even if you don't have a powerful car

The Boxster 2.5L with it's 204 horses

is the least powerful of all Boxster,

but that's enough

To prove it to you,

I took the impressions of Jean-Greg

who came to the Nürburgring with his 2.5L and two sons.

I came to the Nürburgring because I have the chance to know Serial Driver

who makes youtube videos.

I came here for the first time last year with him

to discover this mythical German racetrack

which is simply fabulous

since it's 20 kilometers long

with 76 turns

which are often blind

When you get into the turn, you don't know what is waiting for you at the end.

It's amazing to be able to use your car

on a track like this.

The advantage of a racetrack is that you will be able to test the limits of your car,

in any case, you will try to reach them.

Unfortunately, at the Nürburgring, you can not afford to go off the track

and it's a real challenge

because the car is so good on the road

that you are always afraid that your Boxster loses its adherence brutally without warning

and yet, it still stick to bitumen.

It has a fabulous frame

despite his 20 years of age.

That's great !

Are you scared?

I was scared last year

because at one point I unloaded from the front of the car

and I had a bit too much angle on the steering wheel,

and the rear of the car has a little bit hunted.

I arrived at 150 km/h in a right angle turn so I had to make a big braking

and there I was very scared.

This year, I was not frightened,

because I had debunked the circuit last year.

I knew it a little better.

But you still have to come with apprehension

because it's a dangerous racetrack

perhaps the most dangerous in the world.

And how did you feel the behavior of the other pilots towards you?

In general, they are correct,

but there are rules to respect,

and some pilotes don't always respect them,

so today I had a person who came very close from the front of my car

as you have noticed,

it was a little hot,

In general, it's okay,

but there are still crazy people,

we must be vigilant despite everything.

With 200 PS, we are a little limited in the mounted

it must be admitted,

especially that here, there are cars prepared, emptied with roll bar

who drive very fast,

and whose pilots come maybe 10 times a year.

Therefore,

you have to drive as much by looking in front as in your mirrors

and that's the problem.

Your car does not have the PSM (ESP),

in hindsight, if it were to be done again,

is this an option that you would take for the racetrack.

So ... Yes and no ...

Yes because it gives security,

you feel more confident

since it is the vehicle that will make up for the mistakes you can make

However,

as I like motorsport in a very basic way

I like to guide

and be master of my vehicle

and it's true that sometimes it's a little tricky

with this car.

About the cubic capacity,

you said that the 2.5 L lacked some power

if you could, would you buy a Boxster S?

Ah, yes if I could, that would be good.

Actually, it may be an error I made

when I bought this Boxster.

I should have inquired a little more.

Well, I took the basic.

It was my first Porsche,

I think I'll keep it anyway,

but I I should have bought an S version

because it's still a lot more powerful,

and I realized it today

You took your two children with you to the circuit

what do you get out of this family experience?

For me,

I am marking the brains of my children

in an indelible way,

because

I share with them my passion for cars

and they live things that are extraordinary

and it will stay in their minds all their life.

It is an incredible chance that they had to be able to come here twice already.

and I think they'll come back soon

but by themselves with their vehicle

Were they scared with you?

Or were you afraid to take them away? An apprehension ...

So, apprehension, I always have

and you really have to come with a lot of humility on this circuit,

my children were not afraid,

because they had the chance to ride with Serial Driver

who is driving much faster than me.

then, my sons would be more likely to push me a little.

But no,

personally I try to be careful

and I stay within the framework of what I can do

So you didn't have any apprehension to take them.

but what about your wife?

My wife hasn't come here yet

I hope to be able to bring her next year.

But she let you take your children on this racetrack without any fear?

No, she has confidence ...

That's good !

So it's an experience to renew

and to test when you have a Boxster?

To renew,

to do with a Boxster,

because here you will be able to use your vehicle

in extreme conditions

and you will be able to push it.

So yes, it is to renew

and I strongly advise you to do it,

it's truly a unique experience!

A big thanks to Jean-Greg

who has agreed to make this interview

between two laps.

I hope this raw feeling he delivered to us

will have finished convincing you to come for a ride on this legendary racetrack

whatever the brand or power of your vehicle.

See you next time!

Finish it Friday- Let's get our UFO's Finished July 27th 2018 - Duration: 5:07.

hi everybody it's Friday so that can only mean one

thing it is finished at Friday so basically some of you will be wondering

if I actually got my purse finished from last week well I did and subsequently I

have done a review and that will go up in a couple of days but I did finish the

purse and as you can see I have used some Singer fabric there and it turned

out really well I was really happy with it

I did make a little bit of an error in it and you can see that there the glue

that I used has actually come through I didn't use a lot of it but it's come

through on the front so this one is just for me anyway so I don't really care

it's another project finished and I can't wait to start using it my other

purse is starting to get a little bit tired so yeah I'm really happy with that

and that one's called the Roxy so I will do a review that I probably go up on

Sunday or Monday I'm running a little bit behind schedule this week

unfortunately so yeah you'll get to see that pattern and where to get that from

so yeah I'll give you a bit of a sneak peek inside so you can see all those

card slots you've got a coin purse and it's also accordion so yeah I'm pretty

happy with how it turned out and I'll put the review up slow finish it Friday

I have noticed that a few of you have been putting pictures up in our Facebook

group and leaving comments underneath the videos as well which is great I'm

really happy to see that and I hope everybody continues doing that um so

this week I have rummaged through my UFOs again and I have actually found one

that I completely forgot that I had ordered so this was through um Club

clobbered I think is how you pronounce it and it's called clock Coburn it's in

the bag and it's September's featured dishonored and you'll never guess who it

is it is actually the crafty Gemini so it

is actually four zip away organizer so um yeah it came

with everything that I needed in the project and it's using some of the

crafty Gemini fabric and everything it's got all the zippers it's got a zipper

pull in it and all that sort of stuff I haven't cut it out I don't know what

else was in the bag cause the bag was open and there were some stabilizers and

stuff in the bottom of my tub so I'm assuming that there was some more stuff

to go with it but as you can see it looks like it was

supposed to it's got a little piece of vinyl in there no the vinyl still in

there but as you can see that's what it is that I'm going to be making so in

saying that oh I am definitely going to be trying to make that this week I don't

know if it's still available online or not it does have a password here that I

need to get in to do the video course so cause Vanessa is really great with it

video courses so I'm going to go in there and do that and then I will

possibly do a little bit of a review on how I went with that because I don't

think there is any pattern as such because this is all that's in in here I

don't know what else came with it that's how long it's been sitting there for

it's got three fat quarters of the kinfoke fabric by Vanessa virus Wilson

the crafty Gemini it's got the vinyl a zipper a double zipper and then it also

has a kaleidoscope zipper pull some fabric clips which is probably the stuff

that's actually fallen out into the bottom the best press I took out when it

first came and I use that all the time because it was a little bottle and a

notepad and a pencil which I have subsequently fall down as well because I

don't like them just that sort of stuff to sit in with my UFOs so you know what

the drill is for finish it Friday I post up this video I share it over to our

Facebook group you leave a comment but underneath the video telling us what

you're working on or do you need some help with some stuff you can also leave

a comment underneath this video on you tube as well and tell us what you're

working on and what you're trying to get finished we're trying to build a

community so I hope that you join in the fun if you haven't joined our Facebook

group yet the link is underneath this video you can hit that link and someone

will approve you send a request to join of course and someone will approve you

my name is Nicole reed for darvanalee designs studio and this is finished at

Friday thanks very much for joining me everybody and I'll see you all again

soon bye for now

The Nürburgring with its Boxster 986? Are you crazy? - Duration: 8:12.

Hi, this is Piston Kirk !

Today we're going to wonder if it's worth going on a race track

with a Boxster 986

Ouch! I have ears that whistle so much I can already hear the arguments against ...

Come on, let's analyze them

Argument 1

But what did you smoke?

A cabriolet is for cruising not for running on a track!

No !

It's not because there is a trunk at the front and at the back

that this car is made for shopping

it is made to race (racing and shopping is the same word in french)

You don't believe me ?

Look in England,

there is a bunch of Boxster reconverted in racing car

and they do not have to blush,

with their rear center engine and their flat cylinders,

they have a very low center of gravity

and an optimum mass distribution.

Well, about security

the soft top is not terrific...

For official competitions,

you must have a hard top

and an integral roll bar.

That said, to use a track outside a competition,

the hard top is not required

and keeo in mind that

this car is equipped with a standard safety roll bar

Argument 2

Yeah, but uh ...

it is an old lady ...

you must respect it, you see?

False!

It is above all a Porsche!

and the best way to respect it,

it's never to forget where it came from.

And for that, what better than to go back to the sources

and go to clean up his engine on a German track

like the Nürburgring ?

As a bonus, to get there,

you can enjoy portions of the highway

without speed limit

and if there is no traffic and the weather is good,

you may be able to reach the top speed of your Boxster

which will not be the case on this track

because the straight line is not long enough.

Now that this little focus has been made,

let's start preparations.

So, ideally it is better to change the engine oil

before and after each track session,

but if you are lazy

or want to limit fees,

do at least one oil change after

because as the engine speed is high

around 6000 RPM,

the oil will deteriorate faster.

To preserve your wallet a bit,

you can chnage the oil yourself,

by following the instructions in this tutorial,

whose link is in the description of this video.

Oil is not the only thing to watch.

you have to control the levels

brake pad wear,

and tire pressure

keeping in mind

it is better to deflate tires by 0.3 bar befor going on the track

to have a better grip.

Therefore, do not forget before leaving to take a pump

a manual one

or an electric one that is plugged into the cigarette lighter

The last point to check is not your vehicle

but his insurance.

If you make a track session outside any competition,

your insurer may agree to cover you

but beware the warranty to be reduced to a simple liability to third parties

Basically, the damage you will do to others will be covered

but not those that you will do to your own vehicle.

So remember to call your insurer before leaving

to clarify things

and possibly take additional insurance.

About additional equipment,

a helmet and a fire extinguisher are always welcome.

on the Nürburgring it is not obligatory

as long as you don't participate in an official competition

but it can help sometime.

Now it's time to go on the track

you choose your vehicle,

then the circuit

and go !

Then practice the circuit on a video game to prepare yourself to do it in real life (this disguise is from a famous french gaming youtuber)

can look like a joke

but this is not.

even if sensations are totaly differents

today's video games offer a perfect solution

to become familiar with the track at a lower cost.

They became so realistic that with some accessories

like a gear lever,

a pedal,

a force feedback wheel

or a virtual reality headset,

they can perfectly help you to improve you skills in real life.

I want for example the youtuber Tanguy Crims

who started learning drift on these simulators

before buying a BMW

to go to practice on real racetrack

at only 17 years old.

Besides, whether you are a fan of drifting or not

I invite you to discover his youtube channel

to see how far passion can bring you

the link is in the description of this video.

let's go back to to the subject of this vidéo

and speak about the Nürburgring.

Why is it so important to become familiar with this particular racetrack?

Well, that's simple, it's because it is huge,

it takes time to memorize it

it's not like a two or three kilometer circuit

that we start to know in half an hour.

This circuit is spread over more than 20 km,

with 73 blind corners,

descents up to 11%

and ascent up to 16%

enough to make a F1 take off

Uh ....

Wait ...

It's not reassuring what you just said.

this racetrack sound like it's a little bit dangerous... No?

A little bit dangerous?

No....

In my opinion, if we call it The Green Hell

it is rather because it is a bucolic environment

In the heart of the forest...

That's it...

Yeah ... Ok!

I will not lie,

it's true that this racetrack has a scary reputation,

just type the word "Nürburgring" in Google

and it will suggest you automatically

the words "crash" and "accident" right next

which sends you to terrible videos

that look like a crumpled sheet metal festival

Unfortunately, these videos reflect a certain reality.

When we are there,

managers are often forced to close the racetrack for one hour

to clear the wrecks of those who have losed control of their car

Here, I imagine that many of you are thinking:

Piston, you are a sweet guy,

but you have completely lost your mind !

It is out of the question that I will put the wheels my precious Boxster

on this crazy racetrack.

Well, if you don't, it would be a shame.

Because nothing forces you to crash.

If you don't plan to make a lap record,

the risk is low for you

and also for the engine.

You can have a lot of fun

without necessarily tickling the limits of adhesion of the car.

And believe me,

even at low speed,

you will have more sensations on this racetrack

than on any other.

Why ?

Well, simply because the risk is everywhere

and that your brain realizes it very quickly

First, most of the time,

there is only 2 meters between the edge of the track and the safety rail,

therefore, if you leave the track you crash the car.

Then, when we enter a turn,

because of the forest and unevenness,

you don't know what is at the end of the turn

because you have no visibility.

If you don't know the racetrack,

it is impossible to optimize your trajectories.

Anyway, even when you know the racetrack,

you can't optimize your trajectories

because you always have to stay om the right side

to let the regular overtake your car on the left like bullets,

sometimes even with much less powerful cars.

So, yes, it's risky,

but the pleasure is precisely there!

This racetrack is the antithesis of hygienist societies in search of zero risk.

the risk is always present in a corner of your head,

you are tense,

100% focused on what you do.

In short, the sensations are increased tenfold,

you feel alive!

So if you have a car a bit sporty,

it's an experience to do at least once in a lifetime,

preferably with friends or family.

You're very kind Piston,

but you have a Boxster S (260 PS)

and I only have a 2.5 L (204 PS)

It isn't a car adapted to have fun on this racetrack.

False!

Everyone can go on this racetrack.

we see motorcycles

city cars,

vans

or improbable vehicles

like limousines,

or English cab.

So, sure, purists who fights against the stopwatch

don't like to see tourists playing mobile obstacles on their playground

and break their average.

But if you keep an eye in the rear-view mirror

and you put your blinker right to let them pass

there will be no problem.

because on this racetrack, as on the road,

we only overtake by the left.

If you respect this basic rule,

the risk of collision with other pilots is low.

Although we are never safe from a car that decides to play the pinball ball

with guardrails.

In the end, even if snails are not necessarily appreciated by all,

the general atmosphere is very friendly

both on the circuit,

but especially outside among those waiting their turn on the parking.

It's an immersion in another universe

you would be wrong to deprive yourself

even if you have a 2,5 L

or a less powerful car.

And to convince you,

I collect the impressions of a 2.5 L owner

who had come on the Nürburgring with his sons

I invite you to click on this video to see the interview

who will prove to you that this racetrack is a unique experience

accessible to everyone.

See you next time!

Effizienzsteigerung … genialer Tipp! - Duration: 5:16.

Today we look into efficiency enhancement and a simple tip, that I apply everyday.

That's our today's topic.

Thorsten Wittmann here and I warmly welcome you from Oslo in Norway.

You can see the city in the background.

As usual I will share some great impressions with you.

Today we have a great topic. How can we work more efficiently in order to make more money

and come closer to financial freedom?

This tipp is allegedly unspectacular - music. But it's less unspectacular

when you consider what you can do with music.

In a couple of minutes you might think of it totally differently because music is energy, it's vibration like anything else in life.

And if we receive the right energy and vibration though music

we can improve our brains. It's natural brain doping as music

has a direct impact on the brain as many different studies show.

Diseases you can fight with music include

Alzheimer's and Parkinson. In another study by Dr. Konrad

from Harvard University music by Mozart

was played for critically ill people. That's when the following happened.

Growth hormones increased by 50%, less medication was needed and blood pressure could be improved.

Additionally listening to music is a clear improvement of efficiency.

And that's very exciting.

We know that music has an impact on our nerves and our blood and

these are crucial factors for our frame of mind. It influences how fit we are, how fast we can work,

or how fit our brain is. It's natural brain doping.

Very exciting.

It's a great possibility for efficiency enhancement.

Now there is different scenarios, for instance for an activity which demands concentration and focus

you'd create a playlist with songs and albums supporting the activity.

Or if you're having activities that need to be done

or when you're fatigued

in that case vivid music with a great rhythm is helpful.

It energizes you to complete your work.

It works the same way for me. I have different playlists und the 3 most important I will share with you

through spotify, a free music streaming service

so you can use it for free as well. If you're not using spotify yet you can sign up

and use it for free. If you're already using it you can simply access the playlist.

You'll find the link with the 3 playlists under thorstenwittmann.com/musik below this video.

One playlist is living financial freedom. It includes uplifting music bringing us abundance

and great feelings to get closer to the life of our dreams.

Another playlist is called Island. Island is an exciting band.

I listen to this playlist very often, since the music is very special and

it's almost meditative. The effect it has on me is that

I can stay very focused on my work.

I create strategic things while listening to this playlist. And very often I'm writing texts while listening to it.

And since you know me and that I love South America

where I also live, it's clear there has to be a playlist going by the name Latino-Amerika.

This playlist has some great music in Spanish language.

It has great rhythm. The energy is a total different one and it's rather vivid.

When you're feeling tired this music is awesome.

You can use it when you want to clean up your room

or for activities that need to be completed. Listening to this playlist you will feel cheerful

throughout your activity and your work.

As I said you can use it for free.

You can gladly do it.

I've had some great experiences with it.

And here there are some great impressions from Norway.

A couple of days ago I was on a fjord safari in the nature.

There is some video footage I've captured some video footage for you.

It's an amating country with amazing nature.

At this point I also want to tell you about our special offer which ends on sunday.

It's about our first community networking day in Cyprus.

I would be happy if you could join us there.

We've chartered a yacht.

There's more than 15 participants already and it would be great

if you'd join us.

Sunshine, beach, ocean, great people, cold drinks and a yacht -

what else can you expect from life.

It's also a great chance to get into thoughts of abundance.

I'd be happy to see you there.

Share and like this video if you liked it.

Listen to the music playlists.

Look into the event in Cyprus.

Subscribe to the channel.

If you're not part of our mailing list yet, click below this video to subscribe.

I'd be happy to see you again next friday.

I have a very exciting idea in mind which will make a great video.

It's about passive income. Next week I will welcome you out of the United states

where I'll be on a business mastermind.

I wish you all the best.

See you next friday.

Until then.

Live financial freedom!

Yours, Thorsten Wittmann.
