Weather News with J7409 Saturday July 28,2018 - Duration: 12:42.

good day everybody j7409 here with you with weather news. the name you know the

news that you can use! man oh man I've been having rain rain and heavy rain

just about off and on all night as a matter of fact it's doing it right now

I mean heavy rain people and what can you expect with the humidity levels

would you look at this look at this up into the 90 to 100% humidity all up and

down in here humidity is everywhere and when you have humidity so close down to

the ground when the humidity levels so high you can expect rain this is a check

of the latest GFS map courtesy of tropical tidbits and before I get going

this morning I hope that no one was in too bad of severe weather last night my

goodness we had watches watches from tornado watches to severe thunderstorm

watches up and down these coast and out in the Midwest and if you are having a

problem getting notices about receiving my weather videos all you have to do is

hashtag weather j7409 and I'll put that down in the show more down in the

description for you also if you click that you should be able to receive my

videos now let's turn this map on we have this risk of severe thunderstorms

today from southeast Wyoming Southwest Nebraska and eastern Colorado into

central Kansas so we're gonna turn it on right quick and let er roll now the

severe thunderstorms are going to be possible

initially across the central high plains by late this afternoon then spreading

into the central plains it's evening and perhaps even continuing into tonight

with isolated strong to severe storms that can be possible across eastern

Oklahoma to Arkansas and in the north-east now what I want to

talk about I want you're going to hear me see or say rather MCV well that

stands for miso scale convective vortex and what that is it pulls winds in a

circular pattern like a vortex okay you're going to hear me talk about meso

scale convective systems now they are thunderstorms that become larger than

regular individual thunderstorms but they're smaller than extra-tropical

cyclones and they usually last for several hours or more so here we go for

eastern Oklahoma Arkansas northeast Texas and northern Louisiana we have an

MC V now this is where it's pulled through pulling the wind in a circular

pattern attended to AMCs which is a very convicted thunderstorm okay now we've

got this this morning and it could develop new storms downstream across

Oklahoma into Arkansas in northeast Texas and even by north down around

northern Louisiana by this afternoon now all of the models are in strong

agreement showing that a decayed MCs over Oklahoma this morning now the

potential exists for pockets of moderate instability with mid-level wind shear in

the vicinity of the in CV and hence some to support storms organization the

outlooks going to have severe probabilities on the lower end though

with the potential for stronger storms being capable of producing locally

strong winds and hail now early day cloudiness could limit overall

destabilization of this and thus precludes the introduction of higher

severe probabilities at this so eastern Oklahoma Arkansas northeast

Texas and northern Louisiana you could be getting some rain rain rain rain rain

with possibility of some very storms headed your way now eastern New York and

a new engine we got a shortwave trough that will lift primarily across Canada

today and will result in neutral height changes across the Northeast however

strong southwesterly mid to upper level winds are going to extend across the

Northeast States resulting in effective bulk shear anywhere from 35 to 45 knots

now the models continue to suggest a narrow corridor strong boundary layer

eating it's going to occur across the Hudson Valley region ahead of a weak

surface front an instability will be marginal stronger instability is

forecast father east though low level convergence is weaker and scattered

thunderstorms should evolve across the Northeast with the potential for locally

strong wind gust if you happen to be in one of these storms so far as my area

where I live if you're anywhere let's cut this back on right quick if you're

anywhere and this area right up and down the seaboard so far as from down around

Florida Georgia South Carolina North Carolina up into eastern Virginia maybe

Washington DC expect rain off and on but when you have rain you're probably going

to have a pretty heavy rain shower I'm telling you folks it is raining so much

at my house and it's not just a little drizzle it's a hard rain for the last 12

hours we may even hear hitting my roof right now this is going to happen off

and on with breaks for the majority of today here we are at Hatteras this

morning letting you see what it looks like yeah

rain rain nasty nasty and besides it raining it's not a good day to go in the

water because the rip currents are still high they have not lifted the dirty

water ban yet that has all the bacteria in it working on it hopefully by this

afternoon it will be cleared but that's still under way but people please please

take the rip current warnings at heart do not go in the water if you go in the

water just wait around don't go out and swim

in it so many people have died if they say hi rip currents or even moderate rip

currents don't think you can overcome them so many people have died already to

prove that you can't here we are looking at thunderstorm activity going on around

8 a.m. this morning time right now 8 o 8 a.m. and of course today is Saturday the

28th of July 2018 we will move this on up to around 1 p.m. this afternoon it's

thundering it's lightning that's raining like crazy at my house and it will

continue as I've told you right through these areas also down in Florida you can

see where the rain is moving through with those systems I just spoke up that

may bring severe weather as we go to 4:00 p.m. this afternoon we can see how

it is going down into the Oklahoma area right in here all the way down to

Louisiana and portions of Arkansas also up in Nebraska especially along the

panhandle area from Wyoming Colorado and parts of Montana excuse me not just

about check there ok moving right along we will go to 8:00 p.m. this evening you

can see what's going on and we will move up to 1:00 a.m. in the morning with the

most severe of the thunderstorm activity out in

the lower part of the Nebraska a little bit of Colorado and down in to panja's

we'll take a quick look at the Cape map with all of the indices of how strong

severe energy is in the air that can produce these severe storms this is

around 10 a.m. for this morning you know the deal if you are in the red or the

purple that's the most severe however when you're in the green you still have

a chance when all of the conditions are just right for water spouts and

tornadoes to pop up on you so everyone be aware of that we will have to around

3 p.m. this afternoon on over to around 8 p.m. this evening and then we'll hop

up to 1 a.m. in the morning and that's what the Cape is looking like for today

we're gonna check out the thunderstorms and see how severe they may get

throughout the day and if this is your first time over to weather news with J

p.m. in this afternoon looks like Texas might be getting some

rain and relief that'll be a good thing and as we move on to 8 p.m. this evening

you can see how everything is progressing along and we will move up to

11 p.m. tonight that's when we have some real little nasty cells getting together

right up in here between Kansas and Colorado also a very good possibility of

some in the panhandle of Nebraska reaching over into Wyoming so we'll go

up just a little bit further to around 2 a.m. Sunday morning and a look out here

we go in Kansas the lower portion of Nebraska's just got out of this and this

is in the very high range wherever you see it purple these are storms for sure

okay like I've been talking about so please keep this in mind and stay safe

THUMBNAILS - Why THUMBNAILS Matter - Duration: 5:54.

Okay so you're researching thumbnails! Duane here with how to grow on YouTube

TV and in this video I'm gonna talk to you about why thumbnails are super

important. As a matter of fact I'm going to give you three things to consider

when designing your thumbnails. But before we get started I have a quick

message.

Okay so thumbnails are super important as a matter of fact in this video I'm

gonna give you three things that you need to consider when you're designing

your thumbnails. The first thing that you need to consider when designing your

thumbnails is what is the thumbnails purpose? The main purpose of a thumbnail

is to get you that initial click which clearly leads to a view. So if we're

talking about the importance of a thumbnail it needs to be

attention-grabbing enough to get you that initial click which will get you

views and hopefully views will get you subscribers. So the thumbnail is super

important. I mean think about it there are thousands and sometimes

millions of people searching on YouTube for a particular keyword. And your

thumbnail needs to stand out out of all of those different thumbnails on the

YouTube out of all of those different thumbnails on the YouTube and make

somebody say hey stop pick me. So in some ways the thumbnails

is actually a little more important than the video because before somebody can

get to your video they need to click on your thumbnails initially to get you

that first view. So that is why thumbnails are super important. The

second thing to consider when designing your thumbnails is; how are you gonna get

your thumbnails to stand out? Having your thumbnails stand out is very important

to your success here on YouTube. So a couple of things that you may want to

take into consideration is you definitely want to be able to brand your

thumbnail. In other words have your thumbnails look like these are your

thumbnails. So don't make a bunch of different thumbnails, try to have

thumbnails that have the same consistent colors the same consistent font. So that

when people are surfing they know that this is your thumbnail and more

importantly this is your video that they're gonna

watch. So you definitely want to make sure that your thumbnails stand out

because like I said there are thousands if not millions of people searching for

the same keywords depending on what that topic is, so the thumbnail has to stand

out that's very important. Another way to stand out with your thumbnails is to

create thumbnails that provoke some type of emotion. Another way that you can

actually stand out is by using words like must-watch or now or fast or in

2018 so people want to know that this video is relevant and you can make them

know that by using those words with those particular buzzwords. You can

include the year because of course people want to know that this video is

relevant and it's up-to-date. So those things can help your thumbnail stand out

and eventually win you that first click. Like I said which will get either view

and views lead to subscribers hopefully if you're doing your job correctly. So

that's another way that you can stand out with your thumbnails. The third thing

to consider when designing your thumbnails is to make sure that you

deliver the message that the thumbnail promises. This is gonna hurt you if you

make a thumbnail that's clickbait ish and people click on it and in the first

30 seconds of the video they realize that this video is not quite delivering

what the thumbnail promises. So it's very important for you to deliver exactly

what the thumbnail promises. I mean if you think about it this way let's say

you want pizza and you are the pizza you go through all the changes and you pay

for it and they deliver it to your house and you open the pizza box and there's

an apple pie in there. While apple pie is very delicious it's not quite what you

want right so you're gonna be disappointed because you really want a

pizza but you got apple pie instead. And that's kind of the example that's kind

of the feeling that the viewer has that your thumbnails are saying one thing and

then your videos saying something totally different. So you definitely want

to consider that you need to make sure that you're delivering the exact message

that the thumbnail is offering before they click on it right. So that's very

important. Okay so those are the three things to consider when designing your

thumbnails. Before I wrap the video let me know the comments below which one of

Cutest Seed Pods! How to Harvest and Collect Ashwagandha Seeds - Duration: 2:47.

Hello Friends!

Todays short video is on update for my Ashwagandha herbal plant and How to Collect Seeds pods

and harvest seeds from Ashwagandha berries.

In my previous video on Ashwagandha many months ago, I discussed its care tips and medicinal

values.

Ashwagandha plant, botanically Withania somnifera also called Indian Ginseng, is a medicinal

perennial plant.

Ashwagandha roots are harvested and used in Ayurveda to cure impotency, boost vigour and

immune system and for many other benefits.

I have discussed this in my previous video few months back.

You can check that video from the end screen link at the end of this video.

Now this plant, has evolved from a small 6 inch plant few months ago.

Then it started flowering and finally produced these seed pods.

Actually these seed pods take a long time from 3 to 4 months to mature.

Once these green pods are turning brown and some bright red small cute tomato like structure

is visible, you can harvest these ashwagandha seed pods.

You can either pluck the pods or even take out the whole branches.

Then peel out the brown dry cover to see the lovely looking Ashwagandha berry.

This looks so beautiful and smaller than a cherry tomato and you feel like eating it.

Some also call it as Ashwagandha cherry or berry or even winter cherry.

And Beware, its not edible.

Am not sure whether its poisonous or what compounds it contains.

If you know, please mention this in comments below the video.

Well.

You can take these berries and first dry them out or even crush them and dry under sunlight

for 2 days and harvest ashwagandha seeds.

So you will have thousands of seeds from one single plant.

I will grow a few more from these seeds and distribute the rest of the seeds to my friends.

You can also harvest the roots of ashwagandha, by removing the plant and cutting out the

roots.

So, there we have have it folks, that was a quick update video on Ashwagandha seed pod

harvesting.

LARGEST Animals In The World - Duration: 10:36.

If you want to witness some of nature's most curious creations, you need not look

further than the animal kingdom.

There are so many weird and amazing things going on there that you will end up falling

in love with them.

Unfortunately, that love sometimes transcends into greed and that is where the poachers

come in.

But even they will think twice about approaching some animals because of their massive size!

Let us look at some of the largest animals on Earth.

Green Anaconda.

There are hardly any of us that like snakes.

The ones who do are usually considered weird.

The reason for that is that they are slimy and dangerous.

And while poison is that snakes are associated with, the truth is that most of them are not

poisonous.

But that does not mean that they are not dangerous.

Especially the green anaconda, which, pound for pound, is the largest snake in the world

today!

It is a member of the Boa family and although the reticulated python can grow longer, the

green anaconda is almost 2 times as heavy!

They can grow up to 29 feet and weigh more than 550 pounds and are generally around 12

inches in diameter!

They generally live in swamps and slow moving waters in South America and pretty much anything

they want is food for them given that they can constrict their prey and choke them to

death!

Wild pigs, deer, turtles and even jaguar feature on their diet chart regularly!

What's amazing is that their eyes and nose are on the top of their head so they can pretty

much hide their girth underwater while waiting for prey!

Blue Whale.

Simply put, the blue whale is the largest animal.

Ever!

It is about as big as a basketball court and requires a heart the size of a car to drive

it!

And when you are that big, the depths of the ocean is probably the best place to stay!

That is why the blue whales, who are mammals and not fish, stay in the water probably!

The blue whales are absolutely amazing creatures which will leave you in awe no matter who

you are.

And to sustain its magnificent size, the blue whale eats around 3.6 metric tonnes of krill

each day during the summer feeding season!

So, if you ever know someone who is boasting about their size, introduce them to one of

these gigantic beasts and maybe they will learn some perspective!

African Bush Elephant.

Elephants are known for their size and strength and that is why they are often the subject

of many metaphors!

And of all the elephants that roam our planet, the African bush elephant is the largest.

In fact, it is the largest living animal on land measuring over 10.8 feet in height, 24.6

feet in length and weighing about 6 tonnes each!

And what comes with that size is a kind of respect from other animals.

Which is why the African bush elephants have no natural predators.

The young ones though do face threats from lions and crocs mostly, but the parents are

usually enough warning!

Giraffe.

They have kind of been the butt or neck of Darwin jokes, but the Giraffes are really

wonderful animals.

And while they may not be the largest animal when it comes to size, they are definitely

the tallest!

A giraffe generally measures between 16 to 20 feet tall.

The reason for their great height is obvious.

They have pretty long necks, which can be over 6 feet in length as well!

Imagine that!

An entire adult human being could fit in the neck of a giraffe!

And while many may think that these long necks are because of extra cervical vertebrae, the

truth is that they just have elongated bones, and not extra ones!

Apart from being tall, they also have pretty interesting skin with brown patches that make

them really amazing!

Southern Elephant Seal.

When people are scared of animals, it is mostly because we think that they might eat us.

And if that is what you are worried about, then stay away from the southern elephant

seal.

These huge creatures are the largest living carnivore and there is a lot of disparity

between the males and females.

The male seals are 5-6 times heavier than the females weighing between 2200 to 4000

kilos and extending 15 -19 feet long!

Their happy hunting ground is the water where they can dive for up to 20 minutes to hunt

for squid and fish at depths of 1300 to 3300 feet!

They are also known for roaring pretty loudly and their main feeding area is at the edge

of the Antarctic continent.

And while they prefer the water to the land, they have been seen sliding across rocks,

sometimes in groups as well!

Bears are generally the stuff of nightmares for all kids who go to camp.

Sighting of a bear is enough to scare most adults, leave alone kids.

But if they ever came across the polar bear or the Kodiak bear, that would most definitely

lead to scarring for life!

The polar and the Kodiak bears are the largest known species of bears and the two are more

or less of similar size with a shoulder height of 5.2 feet and a total length of 10 feet.

They can weight up to 1000 kilos and while they are calm most of the time, you should

avoid seeing them angry if you can!

They can be terrifying!

These bears are the largest land carnivores in the world and they are pretty fearsome

when it comes to it!

Saltwater Crocodile.

When it comes to sheer strength, there is nothing more powerful than a crocodile.

Most animals steer clear of them and for good reason.

And when it comes to crocodiles, there is nothing scarier than the huge saltwater crocodile.

They are the largest of all living reptiles and can weigh anything between 400 to 1000

kilos.

They grow up to 13 to 18 feet and some have been known to grow up to 20 feet long!

The saltwater crocodile is a very territorial animal and they are also very adept hunters.

Which basically means that anything which comes into its territory is marked as food

and they are capable of taking down almost any animal that crosses its path.

Flemish Giant.

When we think of rabbits, size is definitely not the first thing we think of.

These fluffy animals are extremely cute and make for good pets that come in very manageable

sizes.

That is until you come across the Flemish giant.

They are an old breed of domesticated rabbits and are the largest rabbits known to man.

They are a very patient animal and have a docile nature, which makes them excellent

as pets.

They have a glossy and dense fur coat, which is why they are sometimes reared for their

fur and also their meat, though why would anyone want to eat such cute animals is beyond

comprehension!

They weigh about 15 pounds and can grow up to 4 feet in length!

Ocean Sunfish.

Bony fish are the name given to fish that have bony skeletons instead of cartilaginous

ones.

There are over 29,000 species of this type of fish and the largest of them is the ocean

sunfish.

They are also known by the name mola mola and can weigh up to 1000 kilos with a fin

to fin length of 8.2 feet.

But there have been individuals who have been recorded to be up to 14 feet with weight of

up to 2300 kilos!

They generally live in tropical and temperate waters and keep to the bottom of the ocean

because of their weight.

The reason for their bulk is that their main source of food are sea jellies but because

they have so little nutritional value, the sunfish end up consuming a lot of it!

3.

Ostrich.

Imagine a bird so heavy that is not able to fly!

That is the fate of the ostrich, which also happens to be the largest birds alive today.

They can reach a height of 9.2 feet and weigh over 156 kilos.

And when the bird is so big, the egg also must be!

The ostrich egg is the largest in the world and weighs 1.4 kilos!

But don't be fooled by their girth.

Even though the ostrich cannot fly, they are extremely fast runners and can reach speeds

up to 60 mph!

The ostrich is found only in Africa and they have very strong legs.

That is also their defence mechanism as they are known to be extremely strong kickers!

Another thing people think about ostriches are that they bury their heads in the sand

when threatened, but that is a misconception.

The ostrich actually lie on the ground with their necks on the ground!

2.

Woolly Mammoth.

When we think of the largest animals on land today, we think of the elephants.

But one of the close relatives of the elephants were the woolly mammoths, and they were much

bigger than the elephants known today.

The mammoths could grow up to 13 feet tall and weighed about 6 tonnes!

One distinct feature about them was that they were covered in fur which helped them live

in the frigid climates of their habitat.

And that is the reason why they are one of the best studied extinct animals today because

the cold has preserved many specimens of the massive animals.

In fact, one of the hair found in one of the mummified mammoths measures 3 feet in length!

Efforts are on foot to try and bring these amazing creatures to life, but that might

still be some time away!

1.

Tyrannosaurus Rex.

While they may not be around anymore, there has never been a greater predator to walk

the Earth than the T Rex.

They might not have been the largest dinosaurs when it came to size, but they were pretty

huge and were definitely the best hunters.

That is why they have been given the title of the King of Dinosaurs by many scientists.

They measured around 12 feet in height, 40 feet in length and used to weight about 9

tons!

What made them so dangerous as hunters was that they had strong thighs which could propel

them to great speeds, their tail could deliver deadly blows and they had one of the strongest

bites ever known!

Let us just say that we are glad that these gigantic hunters are not around any more,

or they would definitely be the dominant species today!

How to edit photos. Lightroom Tutorial.

hello welcome to today's quick edit today I'm working on another JPEG image

and of course I usually always work in RAW images and I'm going to put a card

up here and link back and I'll put a link down in the description as well

two days ago where I explained why I'm working on JPEG images this week so and

sometimes those are just what you have it's really the summary there but so

this time I am working on an image of an iguana this was taken at the San Antonio

Zoo in Texas and it was taken through glass so it's got extra challenges not

only is it a JPEG but it's taken through glass so we've got I mean and of course

the glass on an animal exhibit a zoo isn't the cleanest thing in the world so

I still really like the image so I'm gonna go ahead and work with it the

Iguana itself in my memory was much more colorful so we're gonna go ahead and do

some really heavy saturation on the colors in this image so go ahead and

start working on it okay

so I'm gonna bring up the exposure that's to turn on my clipping we'd be

careful of the clipping in this one because you see around here I've got a

pretty strong highlight around the edge of his face and this lighting I shot

this with an sony a6000 on automatic settings so it's crazy I must have had

my 55 to 200 millimeter on because I see it was set at 139 millimeters it shot at

one 200,000 F 5.6 an ISO 8601 abri exposure just a little bit and bring up

the contrast I can bring up the shadows

not too much gonna bring the blacks down a little bit because that increases our

contrast okay gasps let's see very little movement in the highlights and I

get a plan I'm gonna bring the highlights down and bring up the clarity

never of course want to go too far in the clarity but working with a JPEG

through glass and more than sharpness that's going to help take care of that

and the D haze here it's going to help take care of some of the issues I have

shooting through the glass here and that's we're getting pretty noisy here

but we'll go ahead and try to correct that in a second you'll bring up the

vibrance and the saturation and we're starting to get a little bit more

towards the way I remember this little guy looking so I'm gonna to bring the

shadows down a little bit for the contrast little darks sadly for their

lights down a little bit the highlights down a little bit alright so we're gonna

go into the saturation here remember this guy was super blue so we're gonna

turn those up and the green I'm gonna don't looking we're gonna see this some

red and magenta it has I see what happens we go so yellow it a lot in the

background and but we also get some pretty cool yellow on him and it

actually looks nice to have it in the background well it's a pretty bold so we

turn up the Blues on him we get some nice complementary colors going on there

so I'm gonna come down go ahead and skip all the way down here to up a camera

calibration and increase the Blues just just there in and the Greens the reds

and that's that's some pretty intense color there but that's what I remember

this guy looking like he was he was like a rainbow guy remove the chromatic

aberration let's see if it recognizes my lens nope alright so

I'm gonna go ahead and do some noise reduction first here let's do some

luminance a chance to catch up there and we'll color alright

I'm gonna do some overall sharpening now it's mask yet I don't need anything in

the background but I'd like just like that alright I want his eye to be

sharper now the sharpening brought back some noise I think we're still okay

though so I'm going to do that with the

adjustment brush I'm gonna put that have it set on clarity you know go ahead and

show mask overlay I should probably switch to my tablet to do this cuz I'm

not very coordinated with the mouse but I'm gonna do it anyway here we go

that is the area I want I had that on auto mask too to help me keep that clean

and he got the clarity up what Wei hai had already is and we've the haze a bit

too and that really is cleaning up his eye quite a bit do more sharpness on his

eye too there we go that's making up it wasn't

so much that I didn't nail the focus on this but just that there was so much

interfering with it between me and where he was and if he look I'm shooting at

139 millimetres means there was a pretty good distance between where he wasn't I

was than the glass and everything else in between so but done there that is it

for this little guy this cute lizard little iguana ah that's it for this

Deaf Hearing Relationship - Duration: 14:14.

Hey everybody! Hope you all excited about this conversation

because I sure am

Today, we're going to talk about deaf and hearing relationship

or more specifically, my relationship with my hearing husband

Before we go further into this topic

I want to point out that

this video is more of an expansion

on my collaboration video with Rogan

I'll attach his channel up here

I just don't know if I can attach his video, the one I did collaboration with him up here

but it will definitely be in a description box along with his channel

if I can't put his video up there, I'll put the name either here or here

so you know which one

that we did

I will admit it

and Rogan, if you're watching this

I am so sorry for taking so long with this video

but as the saying goes: better late than never, right?

When we first met

If you have not seen the video, I highly recommend that you watch it

because I used a pick-up line on him when we first met

It was hilarious

and after that first pickup line

we bonded over our disabilities

and you may be wondering oh wait, wait, wait, wait, you said he's hearing

He is

However he has cleft palate and lip

and what that means that he has a hole in his palate and his lip

and because of that, we have similar experiences

especially with speech therapy

We both have to go through it, we both have to practice pronunciation and

while he knows way more about idioms than I do, like he knows way more

I still don't understand idioms like

It fell through

I didn't know what that means it just fell apart and just, you know, didn't work out

I thought it meant oh it got through, it worked out, it's ready, it's like ready to go

Yeah

I had a lot of strange looks from many people before I finally realize what that meant

It was bad

Anyway

While we did

have same experiences

we still have difficulty in understanding fully of each other's disabilities

For me

I have a hard time understanding

the difficulties, the obstacles that my husband had to go through

since I took eating and drinking for granted while he struggled with it

He couldn't drink through a straw until he was 5 years old

and there's me drinking through straw since I was real little, I don't know how old I was but

like it was not a problem for me while for him, it took forever

So it was, yeah

For him

While he does understand technical difficulties such as there's a glitch in my program or

whatever or battery not connecting right or stuff like that

He doesn't fully understand the impact

of sudden disruption in hearing

that you could depend on

not 24/7 but

sixteen hours a day

and all sudden, that just now becomes none you're like

uh, okay, gotta lip read, cool

it was not fun

and the other aspect that he didn't fully understand

and I've completely prepared him for it

is three days of adjustment period

or as I call it three days of Hell

Why is it three days of Hell?

Because everybody sounded robotic talking into this 1990s microphone toy

which I probably have a picture right here so you can see what I'm talking about, it was so annoying

so annoying, I was like just let me strangle you and try to stop the echo, yeah, it was that bad

but thankfully the last upgrade, it went well

no annoying for I'm just :muttering to self:

Yeah, I wouldn't do that to you but

in my head :evil cackle: yeah

since I was new to dating

and since we're still learning

I, I immediately told him no calling, I can't do phone calls

and if you have to call, it has to be a dire emergency thing like end of the world thing

you can call

Otherwise just text me or Skype me

we're good on those

Thankfully he doesn't like calling, he prefers texting or skyping so :tongue click:

it works out

Well since I don't, I didn't know

about dating

so there is some experiences that I was lacking in

when we first went out on our first date

I quickly found out that it cannot be in the dark or like dimmed area or noisy

it was both, our first date was both

I couldn't read his lips and I couldn't hear him

Thankfully we got around that by using our phone just like

typing back and forth like sharing the phone, he has way better phone than I did

My phone was a dumb phone, it was like tiny dumb phone, it was bad

His was like blackberry like yeah, look at this, yeah

and after that first date, we quickly

figured out like okay, if we would go into that situation again

we better be okay with not talking to each other and just

fool around playing pool or bowling alley or whatever

As the time goes on, we both started learning ASL

Granted, our vocabulary now is way better than back then

Back then, we were fingerspelling everything

It was bad

but we gotta start somewhere, right?

Now, our communication

because our vocabulary has improved

We're roughly 50/50

50% of spoken English and 50% of sign language

Our goal is to be able to sign 100% like all day chats for fun

this way, if it we're tired of talking and hearing we can just :tongue clicks:

just sign

Well, okay, me, it's like :tongue clicks: him, it's like :tongue click:

Turned off, we're good

We do fight, it's usually about little things that

we shouldn't be fighting about

but we did.

Why?

because we were hangry

hungry and angry, hangry

Yeah

The worst fight that came to my mind

was when we first moved into apartment together, our first time together

obviously since we just moved, I didn't have time to do grocery shopping

and because of that

my husband was

he was so irritable and hungry and he was like

what are we doing for dinner and blah blah blah

Oh gosh

Our voice

just k, the volume just kept going up and up and next thing I know

he just walked up to the fridge, slammed open the door of the fridge

and just basically why :silence: do we not have food and blah blah blah

and I got so angry and I walked out to the fridge

and just slammed the fridge

like it moved, it moved when he opened it and it moved again when I closed it

It was bad

and I just yelled right back at him well guess what, I don't have time blah blah blah

I don't remember the exact words

I don't even know why we fought about that but we did

Not even a minute later, we just looked at each other like

why are we angry?

This is stupid, stupid

So we basically just apologized, hug it out, and then went out for dinner

and after dinner, we just went to a grocery store right next to it

and did our shopping and

problem solved, we're good

We're good

The thing that I'm actually surprised about

the fridge

the fridge

is so old, er was so old

I'm actually surprised it still worked after that abuse like

We weren't gentle, it was like whish, pursh

It was bad, it almost toppled over like what I closed that it almost like

So now

After being together for so long, we've been together for

almost eight years if you want to count our dating history

If you don't wanna count that, then 2 years

We've been married for two years but eight years, I count it

We now bond over YouTube, Netflix, and video games

There's one youtuber that we religiously follow

which is Chase on two wheels

and I'll post his channel up here

Phenomenal videos, he's amazing, he's really good at

he's a really good photographer and videographer so

If you're looking for and you like motorcycles

Go to him, he's that good

Netflix

we watch a bunch of shows like

there's so many shows on there that I don't even know what we're watching anymore, it was that many

Video games

I'm still growing

To put in real life situation

My husband

he's a freaking college professor

while I'm a kindergartner

like a huge difference in video games

but I'm still growing

and

he's very patient with me which is great because I'm a very casual player

he plays every day

I play every now and then that I can't remember the last time I played

Now I'm feeling guilty about it

Eh, I don't play very often so

yeah, oh well
