Guru Brahma Gurur Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwaraha Guru Saakshat Para Brahma Tasmai Sree Gurave Namaha!

Today we are going to discuss about 10th house of the natural zodiac, which is usually known as Karma Bhava (House of action)

Usually we identify people as a person or as a personality. Personality can be seen from 1st house.

There is one sloka "Shareera varna kruti lakshanani yasho guna sthana sukha sukhani".

Which means the whole appearance of a person can be seen from 1st house.

But what the person is going to do in his life, to know that is also very important.

I will explain this better with an example. You people call me sir. But if i go to my home my kids will call me daddy, my parents address me by my name.

Same way if i go to office my juniors will call me Sir, but i have to call my seniors as Sir.

Which means we are merely recognized by our own actions.

That is why 10th house is as important as 1st house.

If we say astronomically 1st house comes under eastern horizon.

If we go further above the eastern horizon it comes to a place over the head which is bindu sthan (point).. that is 10th house.

That is why this becomes so important.

The actions of 10th house are controlled by 1st house.

I'll try to make you see this entire thing in a different dimension.

The planet sitting in 10th place from any planet gives great strength and support to it. Because it (10th house) comes under the action part of that planet.

That is why this is very important house as per me.

What can we see more from 10th house.. just let us see.

As per "Jataka Parijata" book power, position and authority of a person can be seen from 10th house.

Some people feel their knowledge is their wealth they might not be interested in material things. That can also be seen from 10th house.

Addictions can be seen through 10th house. Addictions need not be of bad, it just might say about your fixed hobbies.

People might mistaken 10th house as duty house no it is not... It is what you like to do.

Duty is mainly seen from 6th house, the services you offer.

Suppose if a person works in a Bank as officer he goes to bank and work. In the evening when he comes back to home he might teach drawing and music to his kids. Here drawing and music can be seen from 10th house and his bank work can be seen through 6th house.

Vyasana (addiction), Vyapar (profession), Nidra (sleep) and Krushi (Self Effort) can be seen through 10th house.

Many people might think what sleep got to do with 10th house.

We will think broadly here. When can i get a good sleep. Only when i perform some solid fruitful action.

If i didn't do any job/work i should not get sleep. That is why it can be seen through 10th house.

Usually we see sleep from 12th house.

And 10th house is gains (11th )of 12th house. When will i gain good sleep only when i perform some good actions.

Krushi means farming that can also be seen from 10th house.

'Pravaraja' means sanyasa or for these days 'Retirement' is more suitable word, that can be seen through 10th house.

What does a person do after retirement can be seen from 10th house.

"Jeevana Yasa" means... can this person be successful? Is seen from 10th house only. Now i'll take you to 1st house one more time.

As per the first verse, 'yashah' .. means fame and success of a person comes through what the person does in his life. In a way 1st and 10th house both are inter related.

Many of us not that luck and we don't bring enough luck to succeed (which can be seen from 9th house). But our present actions are 100% in our own control

Many people often they someone did something to me that is why i'm here.

I'll try to give more direction here. What ever the other does it's their karma. What you have to do or how you react is your own karma. So try to do your own good karma which effects your 1st house in a good way regardless of your past experiences.

Stop worrying about the things which is not in your control and start working on things which are currently at your hand and under your control. That is really very important.

Next is 'vignana vidya' which means techniques..

What ever i do, is it technically good or not?..That can be seen from 10th house.

And what relations can we see from 10th house? Father can be seen from 10th house.

We will think here more profoundly. When i write down my name Sunil Keshav Ghaisas .. which means my father's name comes in between.

When my son writes his name my name comes in between.

When do i get fame through kids? 5th house is 8th from 10th house.

So when do my kids recognize me as the head of the family?

It is really unfortunate to lose father. But my kids will only recognize me after my dad passes away.

They will give priority to me only after their grandfather passes away. This is also seen from 10th house.

And the bad and good qualities of character can be seen from here. Which qualities we keep and nurture most can be seen from 10th house.

How is my thinking that can also be seen though 10th house. Naturally 1st house is head and 10th house is its action. So what is going on in my mind also very important.

Coming to body parts 10th house represents knees.

Anatomically we should see why is this so important.

In the entire body the biggest bone is our thigh bone and thigh is seen from 9th house. Keens can be seen from 10th house.

When we stand up our entire body weight goes on to knees. One way knees are the hard and toughest and on the other hand they are very flexible both at the same time.

We can say these are like door stoppers... they seems very little and they hold the weight of entire door and stops them.. same way our knees are.

Same way our actions should be firm and flexible at the same time. That is why 10th house is 2nd important house in the entire zodiac.

First most important house is 1st house because every house is identified and dependent on 1st house. The 2nd important house is 10th house. A person gets identified only with these 2 houses.

As Shri Krishna said birth is not in our hands but defiantly our actions are in our own hands.

Lord Krishna said in Bhagavad gita.. "Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana..." which means just do your duty /work your part but don't expect the end results

Usually if good planets sits here then there will be good results.

But as per the book if malefic planets like Saturn, Mars, Rahu or even Sun sits in 3rd,6th,10th and 11th will give great results.

As per me Sun becomes very strong here in 10th house rather than the other planets.

Usually we cannot experience Sun's full power during sunrise or sunset.. we can only experience its maximum strength in the mid noon.

So it is said if Sun in 10th house then such person becomes authoritative figure with power and position.

If Saturn sits here he will not at all sit quietly. He will always do something whether its good or bad depends on individual horoscope.

If we observe around who ever is successful they all work hard. Intelligent people will also succeed but hard work people's success last longer.

So if Saturn sits here person becomes dedicated and devoted worker.

If Rahu is in 10th house it forms a yoga called 'Chatra yoga'.. which is very good for career.

If Mars is here person is very dashing...what ever sign that may be.. Mars makes man dashing.

One more thing we need to remember is 10th house one of the Ardha Trine. Naturally it is a earth sign (natural 10th house is Capricorn which is a earthy sign).

So naturally what ever action we perform we will defiantly get at least some result out of it.

Next we will learn about wealth house (2nd house) of 10th house which would be 11th house.

Inter-Korean efforts to make Koreas green again - Duration: 3:04.

Now we dig a little deeper into some of the potential projects that could actually take

effect,… as the two sides are sit down today for talks on a joint forestry program.

In the first part of our two part series,... we take a look at the inter-Korean efforts

to make both Koreas a little bit greener.

It marks the comeback of a once-jointly run project between the two Koreas.

The two sides once held hands on joint forestry projects in the late 1990s.

But those projects were put on the backburner in 2010 when tensions spiked following a series

of military provocations by North Korea.

However, with the cloud of tensions and threats lifted,... just like many other joint initiatives

now being set up by Seoul and Pyongyang,... this one may end up being a long-term project

between the two.

However, both sides are realistic, considering the reality of North Korea's circumstances.

Some two-point-eight million hectares of forest had been cut down in North Korea as of 2008,…

and that's nearly double the amount of bare land compared to just a decade earlier.

It's so bad that a UK-based risk consulting company assessed North Korea's deforestation

as the third worst in the world in 2012.

"Precisely understanding the situation in North Korea is the most crucial first step.

It's necessary if the two sides are going to be able to make a difference.

However, we believe it will be different this time due to Pyongyang's determination."

That determination,… reflected in its leader Kim Jong-un's efforts to restore a semblance

of environmental care in his country: announcing plan to plant 6-and-a-half billion trees by

2023and even opening up a forestry science school at the elite Kim Il-sung University

in Pyongyang.

The forestry project between the two Koreas, although still very much in its infancy, could

branch out in a number of ways.

Comprehensive projects related to forest-and-agriculture already seem to be coming down the pipeline.

Related businesses' stock prices have shot up over the past couple of weeks,... especially

those involved in forest restoration, cultivating saplings, mineral exploration,... and seed

production.

"We are looking to start with cabbage, corn, broccoli and radish.

Crops like these bring about quick benefits.

especially with some of them being native to our soil.

They are most suitable when we consider the environmental circumstances."

The sentiment this time is more positive,... with North Korea showing a strong inclination

to follow through on its pledges.

Environmentalists here in South Korea have one thing in mind,... improving this fertile

land bestowed to us by our ancestors... and adding a lot more greenery along the way.

North Korea hosts welcoming dinner for South Korean officials, basketball players - Duration: 2:20.

On the first day of their visit, the North Korean authorities greeted the South Korean

delegation with a warm welcoming dinner.

The North's sports minister said... the basketball friendlies will further boost the Korean people's

yearning for reunification.

Oh Jung-hee has more.

The South Koreans visiting Pyongyang for the upcoming inter-Korean basketball games...

were greeted with a warm welcome from the get-go.

On Tuesday evening, a welcoming dinner was held at Okryugwan, a restaurant in Pyongyang

famous for its cold noodles.

In the case of the South Korean art troupe's visit to Pyongyang in April,... the dinner

event did not happen on the first day... but on the last day.

Seoul's Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon and a few other government officials... plus

the South Korean basketball players were invited.

North Korea's sports minister Kim Il-guk was present with his vice minister, the vice-head

of Pyongyang's inter-Korean affairs committee... and the North's basketball players.

The guests were treated to a traditional Korean course meal with Pyongyang-style cold noodles

at the end.

"We deliver warm brotherly love from our athletes and the citizens of Pyongyang.

In February and April, artists from the North and the South made exchange visits and showed

that our people are inextricably one.

Today's unification basketball games will further boost our yearning for unification.

"It's been 15 years, and I know some of our South and North Korean coaches actually played

in the last basketball games back in 2003.

They'll be impressed more than anyone here.

The athletes who'll be playing together for the first time will be touched as well.

The fact South and North Korea are together means a lot more than who wins or loses."

Over 100 South Koreans arrived in the North Korean capital earlier on Tuesday... for the

inter-Korean basketball games, which were agreed upon at sports talks in June.

It's believed Seoul's unification minister will meet with various senior figures in Pyongyang,

and possibly leader Kim Jong-un as well.

But it's unclear whether Kim -- who's known for his love of basketball -- will watch the

games himself.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.

Is Japanese food REALLY that good? What foods do foreigners recommend? - Duration: 11:02.

Shrimp Whopper, and you would never ever find that anywhere else.

It's fresh always, in japan.

- Kalake - Oh..?

- Karage! - Right!

Hey guys, it's Cathy Cat!

Today we're going to ask foreigners about Japanese food.

There might be some nice food recommendations in there for you

So be sure to watch it right to the end and don't forget!

We are also a channel that uploads quite frequently

so don't forget to subscribe so you, don't, miss any of the future videos that

that we put up here on the Ask Japanese channel.

So now let's go on the streets of Tokyo and ask foreigners in Japan!

Okay, where you from?

I am from the United States of America. I'm from Indiana.

But yeah, Columbus India. Very small town, in Columbus.

And that's where we met originally, in there, visiting.

Yeah, their first time in japan

Well for me, I just came to Japan. Four, four days ago, for the first time.

It is great, it's interesting.

Maybe it's like, just like spices and the combination of things is interesting.

Like to me, that there's such thing here at Burger King. As a...

Shrimp Whopper, and you would never ever find that anywhere else.

You, would not find that in the United States, where I'm from. But...

Yeah, to me that's definitely one of the things that makes it interesting.

You can't find things like that anywhere else in the world.

At least , not that I know of. But...

Definitely the way things are put together. You, the way they put things together and you think...

Who?! Who did that? What's that about?

But a lot of times it works.

Then you're like...

What was your like, "who does that?!" kind of moment?

Well, initially when I got here it was a shrimp burger...

Now it's like...

Desserts they have. Like...

I've had like, a tomato jelly as a dessert which is interesting.

And a lot of times...

You know, whether it's bean paste or something that's really not...

what I think of as a dessert.

So that's interesting to me, are the...

the desserts and what they think of as a sweet treat

versus what i would describe as a dessert.

Very different.

Mentioning that, what's your favorite Japanese food?

I love, Sushi. I'm a Sushi lover. I haven't had a lot, cause I'm pregnant

But...

Yeah. So sushi is probably, my top my go-to.

Well, I don't know if this is actually Japanese.

I went to Coco's carry... CURRY, the other day and it was very good!

I also had like, real Ramen actual Ramen for the first time ever, recently at lunch today

and it was very good!

What's your opinion on ramen?

Just the spices and the flavors that were in it.

It was very interesting. And it had like, bamboo in it.

And I didn't knew it was bamboo, I thought it was chicken.

And that was another thing that was interesting, didn't expect to find me doing that.

But it was pretty good!

Yeah, we had Ramen for lunch today it's very good.

And I think, we in America, think of Ramen is the little instant packages of noodles

that cost like, you know... 30 cents and... Very different!

Ramen here is much more complicated and much much more delicious!

So, you know have like Ramen stores?

Like.. Like here in japan, do you have that in America?

You have like, you can buy like, Ramen by the box in a grocery store.

The idea is to get a lot of food, for not a lot of money.

So it's very cheap, but the quality is not great.

But a lot of people eat it! Yeah...

You can find multiple packages for under a dollar, yeah... So very very inexpensive option.

Very different, didn't know about that. Right!

I just had the image that like a couple of Japanese people moved over to America

to open like, their own Noodle shop but... Than not so much...

In a lot of more like, Sushi restaurants

they will have a Ramen soup.

But I've never had Ramen in America anywhere like here.

Yeah, I've had you know

There's tempura, and there's very similar soups.

Like, we have Udon more, I feel like in America than we do Ramen.

In my experience, yeah. Actual Ramen.

Ramen is actually generally unflavored.

But there's not actually anything in it. I think. I believe...

So there is beef flavored or there is shrimp flavored

I mean chicken flavored

but it doesn't actually have anything in it, it's just the Noodles.

In here there's lots of stuff in it which was an interesting surprise it is way different than...

They're called the same thing but the perspectives could not be more different.

Hey! Where you're from?

I'm French and he's Australian, and we live in Madrid.

That is so international! First time in Japan?

Yes it is!

Everyone says Japanese food is so good.

What exactly do you think is so good about Japanese food?

Well, I like the variety and

like the

Ramen, Sushi, and

the curry...

But...

For me it's like, my favorite food so I'm happy with the Wagyu beef

with the raw fish, raw salmon...

So i really like it.

But like, the vision we have about Sushi...

Like, westernised. It's quite... different.

Because I am used to it. Like, the California Roll and here I cannot find it anywhere.

I haven't found it yet.

So...

So I think the vision we have is a bit difference of what it really is but, still very interesting and very good.

So what exactly do you think is so good about the food?

Like, what do you personally like about the food?

I think it's very fresh. Like, when you talk about the fish.

Like it's, you can eat raw fish and then be fine about it.

In every places here.

About the flavors as well.

If you have...

Like a Ramen or a soup or salad, there's more like lots of herbs.

Coriander flavours, yeah...

So that's what I like.

What about him, maybe.

So what's so unique about Japanese food? What's good about it?

Well I'll have to copy here and say the freshness, definitely.

And I think also the quality, because people here don't seem to settle for second-best.

Even on the street food. I think it's still good quality, so.

Definitely.

Quality, how do you feel that?

How do i feel?

Yeah, as I said. I think it's just good it's just good quality and it's...

You don't seem to get scraps anywhere it's all prime cuts etc. So...

Couple of other people we talked to had mentioned Ramen.

So, is there Ramen in your country and if so, is a different from the Ramen here in Japan?

So, you said you were from...?

Russia.

- And you? - Russia.

- We're both. - Right!

Comparing your food here and with Japanese food, people say Japanese food is very nice.

What do you personally think is good about Japanese food?

You're gonna have a lot of a variety of the same foods.

You just eat it and it's cheap like hell. I don't know, so...

Yes, and Russia is has nothing.

And ah! And it's fresh, always in Japan.

And all the sweet things...

I don´t know, I just love to eat it.

That´s why I...

- Came to Japan? - Yes.

I almost weight especially for Japan to gain and to gain in Japan.

- Eat all the food. - Yes!

What, like what's good? Is there anything you like about it? Like you know, taste the looks of it, anything?

Melon pan. And...

This is my passion and my profession I think.

Right! Melonpan is your passion and your profession.

So Melonpan is your favorite, what's your favorite?

It's hard to choose from.

Okonomiyaki, Udon, Ramen...

We're you're from?

I'm from Hong Kong, nice to meet you guys!

And you watch Ask Japanese, thank you!

I think maybe because of appearance and the atmosphere

and the store interior, they merge together and you feel relaxed

and

enjoy.

When the food comes, it looks very nice.

And it looks yummy.

And... It's so good.

The visual, everything. Everything you see.

Everything, they match together. And the atmosphere, they match together.

And when you taste the food...

Wow!

It's so nice, yeah.

What's your favorite Japanese food then?

- Kalage? - Oh...?

- Karage! - Right!

Ramen...

But isn't there good Ramen in Hong Kong?

Yeah, Ichiran Ramen. They also...

We can enjoy, Ichiran Ramen in Hong Kong and other Ramen.

From Hong Kong people and from Japanese people they have Ramen restaurants in Hong Kong.

Now I'm really curious.

What's the difference between you know, Hong Kong Ramen and Japanese Ramen?

What... Does it taste different?

I think the biggest difference is

When you're in Hong Kong and you taste Japanese Ramen

it's totally different when you taste Japanese Ramen, in Japan.

The atmosphere.

The surroundings.

Makes you feel... Your taste, it stays better.

In Japan than Hong Kong because if atmosphere.

And you feel relaxed because you're travelling.

So, if I... Do people local...

Is there like a, like Hong Kong type of Ramen. Like noodle soup or something?

Cause I heard that Ramen originally comes from China.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

In Hong Kong, we have so called

- Wonton noodle. - Yeah, yeah!

- Do you know that? - Ah, yes!

It's so famous in Hong Kong. Have you tried it before?

Erm... I only know the Wonton, like the little pouches.

Dumpling?

So if you guys have time to travel to Hong Kong.

Please try Wonton Noodles.

I don't know how to say... Wonton Ramen, Wonton Noodles. It's good to try. Yeah.

Right! So it's not the Wonton dumpling it's actually noodles out of Wonton?

It's Wonton with noodles.

Imagine if they... They combine it together.

You have Wonton and noodles.

Good! Now we've got a food recommendation there as well

if you go to Hong Kong, that's all the things you to to try!

- Thank you very much! - Thank you so much!

So guys, some of the most amazing food I've ever tried

I actually did try in Japan.

Seriously I had foods that I didn't even thought existed.

Things that I wasn't even sure you could eat

and actually we've done a couple of videos on the Ask Japanese channel as well

where we talk about different types of food

or where we had the pleasure to try food.

So. Oh, and we do a couple of food challenges as well.

So if you don't want to miss these food challenges

be sure to check out.

We're going to put a couple of videos links at the end of the video.

And if you're new to this channel, don't forget to subscribe.

So guys, that is the most tastiest food in your country? I'd like to know.

Please leave us comments

so we can, maybe check out some future nice foods.

Thank you very much for watching and I'll catch you soon. Bye!
