Nature + Engineering - Duration: 6:45.Welcome back to Nature League!
This month has been all about evolution and speciation.
However, it's a special month with 5 Thursdays, and that means it's time for our special
segment called "Nature+"!
"Nature+" is a segment where we investigate nature in the context of something else.
For this month's "Nature+" segment, we're going to explore Nature plus engineering.
Basically, discovering how engineering and design takes some pointers from life on Earth.
[CHEERY INTRO THEME]
Using nature to inspire designs is an engineering discipline called "biomimicry".
Like other feats of engineering and design, most biomimicry projects are directed at solving
problems using innovation.
It turns out that some of the coolest projects underway were inspired by designs found in
other species.
Low-pain mosquito needles.
There are a lot of people who steer clear of the doctor's office because of the idea of needles.
Getting your blood drawn typically, well, hurts.
However, mosquito bites, which pretty much do the same thing, are initially pretty painless,
and sometimes unnoticeable.
That's because they use a special design that reduces the surface area of the point
of impact.
Scientists are now working on incorporating this design into medical needles to reduce pain.
Sharkskin antibiotics.
Antibacterial resistance poses one of the biggest public health risks of the 21st century.
A lot of this resistance comes from overuse of antibiotic agents that kill bacteria.
So instead of trying to kill microorganisms… what if we just created surfaces where they
don't like to grow?
A product called Sharklet™ is an example of shark skin biomimicry.
This engineered surface works similarly to the dermal denticles of shark skin, and provide
an unsuitable environment for bacteria.
Gecko foot adhesives.
This is an adhesive developed at Kiel University in collaboration with the company Gottlieb
Binder GmbH & Co. KG.
The inspiration came from looking at gecko feet and leaf beetles.
And by looking, I mean looking really closely.
Gecko®-Tape has microscopic elements that allow it to stick to wet and slippery surfaces,
and it doesn't leave any residue behind.
Solar panels.
The idea of turning light energy into usable energy isn't exactly new to life on Earth.
Through the process of photosynthesis, plants have been doing this for a long time.
Not only do solar panels mimic this incredible process, but some can actually follow the
sun the same way that plants do, in a process called phototaxis.
The Bullet Train.
Transportation is a major area of engineering innovations.
One of the most famous transportation biomimicry examples comes from the kingfisher bird.
When engineers in Japan were designing high speed bullet trains, they ran into issues with noise.
Kingfishers move from the air into the water almost seamlessly, and the designs of their
beaks inspired the less noisy, and more energy efficient, Shinkansen Bullet Train.
While most of the biomimicry products we've discussed so far are either still in development
or not really everyday items, there are all kinds of things we encounter every day that
use designs that have been around much longer than humans.
While some of these designs weren't inspired by life on Earth, life on Earth also uses them.
Sort of like co-evolution, we find the designs of everyday items in many species on Earth.
To name a few, I figure there's no better place than inside a home.
Thanks for watching this special Nature + segment of Nature League. Make sure to come
back next week for a Lesson Plan on our brand new theme: plants.

!ENG SUB! Clinch in Duels. Lesson 21 Historical medieval Battle - Basics - Duration: 13:55.Hello! Today we will talk about working in a clinch in duels.
Today Batiste Hvati is visiting us.
I happened to meet him at the store. In the store "Donjon".
This store is located here in the gym. The store provided us with these good shields.
We will talk with you about the work in the clinch. Basically, how to work as a shield.
We showed you the basic knowledge. Basically this is pure fencing without close contact with the enemy.
But, this is the most important part of dueling fencing, which is now at the competitions.
If you watch the fights, you will see few blows. Fights go either at a long distance
Or there is work in the near distance. When there are captures, shoving shields behind the enemy's back and so on.
Now we consider two main situations.
Let's start with a simple one. Enemy weapons hit us in the left thigh.
We missed the blow and what we will do next.
Let's find out.
Baptiste, hit me in the left thigh.
I'll put the shield down anyway.
Usually a person simply drops the shield and regrets that he missed the blow.
But you are an experienced fighter!
You grab his sword with your shield.
After that, you will have freedom of action, while the enemy is trying to return his sword.
You can take a step forward to pull the time.
And you just ...
Do a few strikes.
I Immediately tell you what we do.
We will switch places and show again.
Hit. Grabbed it.
The best that we can do. We show the upper blow, we beat in the leg.
And we repeat this blow, we deceive the opponent.
Usually, that's all we can do. More can not be done.
The enemy will have time to return the sword.
But you have time to make a feint and hit the leg.
First of all, the opponent will defend his head.
Now we will show how it turns out to grab the enemy's weapons.
I missed the blow.
And I just lower the shield down and grab the sword of the enemy. The capture of the sword takes place between your fist and the edge of the shield.
Cover the sword with a shield and press it against your thigh.
Do not grab the sword with your hand!
The steel sword is less voluminous than the soft sword.
We clamp the opponent's sword in this triangular space.
How to return the sword? Just pull it on yourself. Try it!
Pull it on yourself!
Only so the sword can be returned.
In the end, it looks like this. We work on speed.
Now a little bit faster
You can easily practice this technique. Just ask your friend to hit you just in the hip.
Consciously substitute your hip for a blow.
A little paced.
This is not prohibited by the rules of the tournament. It is forbidden to grab the sword by hand.
But the hand is still difficult to grasp.
This can be an element of your tactics. This is often used in a duel with a buckler.
If you notice, in such duels almost do not beat on the legs.
Is that only at the end of the battle. This is dangerous, because your sword can be captured by the enemy.
For one missed strike, you are beaten twice.
Or go to the clinch. Which is also unpleasant.
About this kind of grasp we talked.
Now let's talk about the most important.
This is a grip on the arm.
Armed hand.
How does this usually happen?
It is very difficult to hide your defensive position. Especially if it's a Quinta
If he passes well from Quinta to Tertia. He took his pelvis far away. Such rivals are hard to break through.
This task can be solved easier.
Batiste, get up in the quinta.
Assume that Baptiste is very fast and agile. I can not break through his defense.
I can not.
But I'm bigger, stronger and I love clinching.
I walk over to Batiste.
With my sword I control his weapons. He should not take it away.
And I shove my shield under his shoulder.
I take my sword away. Batiste can not beat me.
And I put blows on him.
I turned off his hand from work. When your arm is pressured from below, you can only hit the enemy's head.
Now we will not develop this topic. The first way is to shove a hand under the enemy's shoulder. Come on again.
Control the weapons of the enemy. And shove your hand under his shoulder.
The deeper the better.
The harder it is to get out.
If the rules allow hard and long clinches, you can do even more evil.
You can use your head.
Control, grip.
And pull his hand.
We pulled Batiste on ourselves.
Press it here with your palm on top.
Batiste can not escape from here.
And in the first and second cases, when you enter the clinch. ..
It is better to show it separately.
Quinta, please
You reach for your hand, but if your opponent is experienced ...
(Operator, get around us on the other side.)
Your experienced rival will also reach for your hand.
Pull the shield, please.
A good fighter must do just that.
Otherwise, he will lose.
If you have a good and experienced opponent, he will repeat your movements.
How can this be avoided?
As soon as you come to him...
You must press his shield against his body.
Press the guard of the sword into the plane of the shield.
This will give you time before he grabs you.
If you are stronger and more experienced ...
We are fencing...
We pressed him.
Try to shove your shield under my arm.
Fint and blow. Always control his hand!
If Batiste remains in a passive position, he will get punches.
If he does not try to grab me. His shoulder and leg under my blow
Do not forget to control his hand.
So you can stand for a long time.
How can he be saved?
Especially when I climbed so deep.
It's almost impossible to get out of here.
His only salvation is to make a jump and shove his arm in my armpit.
Do it.
Jump on the arm! (He is French and sometimes does not understand the commands in Russian)
Yes, right here.
Now I will resist. Try to do it
Our task is not to let him do it. But he has a chance when I beat him from above.
I make a swing and my hand opens. He can grab me.
If I make a feint and beat him on the leg ...
( Stand in a left-sided stance.)
He can stand and wait. I do not let him open.
I control his hand.
But as soon as I hit his thigh, he can make the first move.
He presses his sword to his leg.
Then he draws near to me and I can not return my sword.
We looked at the situation in its development.
When you see how I fight with Ilya Ivanov.
Or me and Petrik.
Buckler or shield. The fighting looks like this.
We are trying to do something at a safe distance.
Hit the hand.
And then, when we get bored or someone starts losing. One point or two.
We have to initiate a melee. A melee, it's not an exchange of blows in the vicinity. It's a clinch.
That is, we do something like this.
(Draw your hand to me.)
Sometimes it's all very funny.
That is, two tough fighters go to each other.
And they wait until the judge disengages them.
If you do not know how to work in clinching, and do not know at least these two methods.
Cover with a shield. Pick up.
Without this, you will not win a duel.
You fight with a person who knows about clinching and you can not do anything with him.
You can not make a combination or other of your ideas.
He is either far away from you, and you have to fence at a long distance.
Or he grabs you and hits you.
Because if you do not know what to do when you are grabbed by the arm. Or put your sword to the hip.
You can not do anything and the shield will not save you.
Your hand is grabbed, you can not beat with it. And they beat you.
This can last a very long time.
About prohibitions and permits.
These techniques are almost impossible to prohibit.
If the capture is prohibited, where you use the head, you can always just straighten your arm.
Let me show you this.
Straighten your arm. Look at the judge and say, "I did not break anything!"
"He got himself here"
But you climbed, of course.
But this is a good argument for the judge.
When you lower the shield down, this can also be done. This can not be forbidden.
You do not grab the sword. You press it with a shield.
Use it!
Learn and practice.

Mormon to Atheist to Mormon | Leo's Story - Duration: 19:40.Alright guys, we're here with our friend Leo and Leo is dressed in a white shirt and a tie,
so guess what religion he is?
Jehovah's Witness.
I'm kidding, I'm kidding!
Yeah, Leo is LDS, and you've got a great story.
So we're gonna talk about it.
Tell us a little bit about you where you're from, you know. Yeah, so I grew up in the church,
I am from Utah. I actually grew up downtown Sugarhouse area and then we moved to Bountiful.
Yeah so I lived in the bubble.
On my mission, I served in Uruguay and then I came home and went to BYU and met wife and
now I live in Dallas. Oh you live in Texas? Yeah. I didn't know that. My mom lives in Dallas. Yeah.
So you grew up LDS. A lot of people can relate to that and then
there was a period in your life, however, where you
stopped believing.
Yeah, yeah, so as we all know
the sunday-school narrative of the church
which is a wonderful narrative.
It's faith promoting. It's helpful. It's not super deep sometimes and you know,
especially as growing up the church, most of us
don't have a lot of interest in digging deeper and
understanding church history. It can be boring a lot of us.
I thought it was boring growing up and
you know the internet really helps
to
educate us.
Sometimes we don't really want to be educated, but we can be educated and in a lot of ways and so
curiosity after my mission
actually, right after I was married, I started, you know, I heard something interesting
somewhere somewhere online about Joseph having you know, 30-plus wives. And I saw a video
on YouTube that was a video of I think the Manti pageant, right? You had all these
women lined up with signs and saying, "I'm
wife number one" then her name and I'm like, man. These people are just making up stuff.
This is not true and so I started researching and you know
because I didn't really talk about that. My parents taught me great things, but we never really, you know,
dove into those kind of issues and so-- into those items of church history, right? So, yeah
Yeah, so that that kind of led me on a path of research. It went on for
probably about a year or so and
it was all negative. I was just curious, I wanted to know. I just I ignored any LDS sources like, you know
anything that I thought because I thought this is, I'm gonna look at what the other side is saying.
Yeah, so as I dug deep I lost my testimony and I turned to atheism.
I lost all faith and that happened about six and a half, seven years ago, right around the time my first son
was born.
So yeah, so I was without faith. I kept going to church
with my wife because I loved her and I wanted to but I was checked out, you know, I had phone, I just would,
you know, read stuff at church and I did not want to be there.
But I wanted to support her and
eventually, what happened was I went to
well
eventually, I had this thought come to my head out of the blue and it was a voice that said
"Contact Stephen Harper" and Stephen Harper was
one of my professors at BYU when I was there and he taught D&C and
it came out of the blue and I thought well, that's kind of interesting. Why should I do that?
And I thought maybe he could answer some of these difficult questions that I have. Yeah, and
And so I sent him an email and he replied and the email was kind. It was honest and he
was
very helpful. And so I went from that point kind of recharged me. Like I call it like my spiritual
defibrillator or like it shocked me with academia and with research and with just honesty and kindness.
Yeah, and it wasn't like he was telling me to go and you know, read your scriptures more. He said here are the facts and
here's what I think about those facts as a historian and he provided me that
chance to re-examine my assumptions about everything I've been reading.
So that started me on the path back to faith.
So I think that's really interesting because a lot of people
when they, you know,
they go toward atheism--
going back to faith is difficult because you know in your mind, you're pretty sure there's not a God.
The idea of faith, you're just sort of fooling yourself into all these things
but how did you how did you get past that wall of
even entertaining the idea of faith is just self delusion and things of that nature, how'd you get past that?
So that's been one of the biggest challenges I think for me is, you know rationalizing away spiritual feelings.
I had a lot of spiritual experiences growing up. On my mission
I had some powerful experiences and when your paradigm is rocked, right, your
comfortable state in the church
without this deeper knowledge of church history and contemporary issues and you're just kind of happily
going along which is great to do, I mean
my dear family that have lived and died
without any kind of deeper knowledge, right and they are always faithful
but once your paradigm is blown away, your initial, you know, Easy Street kind of level of
gospel knowledge and church historical knowledge, then you have to receive some kind of additional help.
Yeah, so as an atheist, I
wasn't one that was out, you know
evangelizing my lack of belief, but I had stopped praying
on my own. I would pray with my wife
but it was just to make her happy. So I didn't believe I was praying to anybody.
And so, you know my whole world was rocked by the critical
information. No faithful perspective. So once I heard that there's a rational and
reasonable faithful perspective, that really helped me to come back. I didn't think there was one,
I thought that was just the truth that I was reading and then I realized that
not all the critical information is false, right? That's one of the things that growing up in the church
is kind of hard to
understand is that you have a lot of facts that are mingled with
spin I like to call it. Yeah.
And what we occasionally get into trouble at too is I'm an LDS apologist, right? So I
sometimes we will push a little bit further than what the facts
say so I'm gonna try to spin on our side but the critics I was listening to and really following and believing
they spin a lot of stuff. Yeah, and that was where I started to you know
reverse-engineer my way away from that mindset. And I think it's interesting because I think that a
church apologists are
you know, they're they're often accused of
Spinning the truth themselves or of putting a narrative or bias behind something but I don't I don't think that's single to
Apologetics and religion. I think that's how opinion works, you know in political discourse you report what's happening
But you give your opinion and every any any topic of thought
that's even slightly deep you you have some sort of spin on you have your take on it and
so I think
You have that
with people who are critical of religion and critical of faith and yet those who are defending it, you know, someone says
You know Joseph Smith had this many wives
I think it was disgusting and it was you know, a sexual predator all this stuff. And then the apologist says
You know
We have we we have no children from any of the the wives of Josephus or to mean she wasn't a sexual predator he did
Have model was you're coming from two different angles, but you both agree on this
And I think if you can both agree on something
I
think that's where it starts and sometimes you can't agree right, but but
as the conversations come people are now starting to agree and I think I
Think Mormonism is so interesting because the claims that make are it's so bold, right?
The Book of Mormon we we don't just have a really ancient manuscript of the Book of Mormons because this is an ancient
Mesopotamian document and we we think it's true and here's why it's gold plates given to you by an angel, you know, it's like
Very very bold. Yeah, which means if anything in it is accurate at all
Then that's really telling and luckily there are things in the Book of Mormon that are accurate
So because of that, that's where that's where people go. Wait a minute. I I
I do want to say there's no god. There's nothing
But that's really interesting that this says this how would that happen if without divine intervention?
So then so I think it's I just think it's really interesting
So we didn't an episode where the next member of the church a really good guy. We we joked around we had a fun time
he uh
But he said that what works about Mormon culture
But also hurts Mormon culture is that he said Mormons are too good at disproving other religions
mhm, and we said it was coming whatwhat do you mean he says, you know Mormons are
Mormons become accountants and businessmen for a reason Lauren juror very analytical and so we're in that way
We're good at we learned history about other faiths so we can use it against them. We're good at that and it's because of that
we
Whenever we're people lose faith in our church. They go. Well, I'm not gonna become a Catholic. I'm not gonna become an evangelical
I'm not gonna have already proved those wrong my head. I'm just a guest there's no God. Yes
Yep. Yep, so we have the only true living church
and so when that's out of the picture as an atheist, you you know, you say well that's there's only one true church, so
Everything else must be false, right? Exactly. And so when he that miracle
When I had that thought come into my head. It was just out of the blue
I'm just I'm so grateful for it and I'm grateful for brother Harper and
I met with them and talked about this and I actually interviewed him on in our group
Uplift study group on Facebook so you can look us up. That'd be great enjoying and send your
You know family friends to our group if you'd like to look it up. It's great
We talked about, you know, you can ask ask any question as long as it's sincere. You're not trying to hurt
Faith, you're trying to help your your faith grow then it's welcome
But so anyway, yeah, so I've interviewed him and thank him in person for all he did
For me and and of course, I think my Savior over and over again
Through my worship and in church and my Heavenly Father through my prayers
So I've kind of a deep question when you were an atheist
Were there still parts of the gospel you believed in or that you couldn't reconcile to be false?
So I was I was a girl I was growing into my atheism, right? So it takes time
It's not like, you know, I had this revelation. I'm an atheist and all of a sudden everything is gone
And so you still see good in certain?
aspects of the church
Right and you you're I'm very analytical in the way
I process things and so I would still look at things that were positive like the community
Service, you know encourage to serve and all those things, but all the truth claims became
More and more pale over time until that recharge happened. But yeah, I know as
And it was just it was a lack of belief. Yeah and God
I just didn't believe in God, so I wasn't actively you know, promoting that idea
I didn't want to hurt anybody because I have a very faithful wife. Yeah, I love her with all my heart
She was patient with me
I mean
I finally came to her and told her I was I didn't tell her because I was afraid of hurting her and I didn't well
I didn't want to um, you know, I didn't want to cause harm I didn't want to lose her. Yeah, I goodness
because that would be a real hard thing to deal with right is if you have something that you've made covenants with and they
And they're gone, you know, so I didn't want to do that
So when I went told her I was on my way out
when I was in the safe zone and I said there's nothing else that I
Gonna lose my testimony at this point. Yeah. I've been saved. Wow, that's amazing
Why should we not not view doubt as the end-all be-all?
Killer of the thing. That's scary, right?
Yeah, if you're a doubter stay away from you because I don't want to you know be infected. Yeah, and that happens in our church
We need to create safe places for people
That are having doubt. That's very important. And I'm trying to do that. I know you guys are try and do that
and we need to get educated and
Sometimes that's thrust upon us. Right if you have someone our own lives, obviously mine
But we have a family member or a friend that we care about that turns to a lack of belief and has extreme doubt
We're kind of forced to figure it out and we have to study a little bit have to dive in
But the best approach I think is to learn
proactively about difficult issues right and to be prepared for
These things and so on you have to go through what I've been through. Yeah, I
think that
The the the comforter the Holy Spirit yet. He does his job
but we're not the Holy Spirit, you know, they comfort her job as a comfort we can comfort people but I think
apologetics and diving into the Word of God and and and
Reasoning and rationalizing with people that does worlds are good, especially for young people. I
Mean, we're both Millennials. Actually, I don't think I'm little any old Danny. I'm Jonesy. Oh Jesus, I just
Well, I think people my age so hard-headed and I think sometimes the old school just have faith
Just pray read your scriptures and that's that. I don't think that's that's cutting it for a lot of people
You know, I like Wilder Ballard said, you know about you got to get in you have to look at those things
That might be more difficult
But you you do it with the spear you come out on top I I think I have a deeper appreciation for Joseph Smith
When I learned more about him
You know when it when he's just this perfect like I'm Joseph Smith and everything was great and then some evil men assassin me
But you learned he was complex and all the prophets are complex because they're people your complex on complex. We make these mistakes and so
God still uses us
And I think being comfortable with the fault of prophets being comfortable with not knowing
But being on a path in which you are seeking to know and you're doing in a faithful uplifting way, I think that's tight
That's discipleship. And I think that's righteousness - I was going to say I did a Facebook live video
a while ago and I
talked about two sides of history and
An atheist friend of mine said there are two sides of the history. That was his comment. Am I on my feet right? And
And some people will look at history
And and yes, we can look at the historical facts the data
You know storable documents primary source documents and we can say this is what these were the documents say
This is what someone were on their journal. This is what someone said about so-and-so and
And that can tell us a part of the picture right? But we have to rely on historians
To be able to read into the facts of history read the documents understand the cultural context of the time
Avoid thinking errors, like present ISM. Yeah, and you've got to be able to avoid that stuff to be able to come away with a
Somewhat
High probability of the whys of what happened, right? Yeah
and so as is a you know rank and file the church that I was I
Look at this sensationalized material that's produced by the critics. And a lot of it is that's a fact right? I know it and
My assumptions immediately go to
well, I didn't know this and so I'm going to assume the worst and I assume that worse for a long time and
And so we've got to be patient
With material that we read it's so important to be patient and to be able to say what am I assuming about these facts?
I can't see directly into the mind and heart of Joseph Smith
I can't I can read his words and I can I can you can take his words
And say, you know, he's a monster
You had those words you could do that
you can do that and I did that and a lot of people do that or
you can take his words and you can say I think he's a prophet of God, and I'm going to assume the best and
and that's where the Spirit comes in like you said we've got to be able to have the Holy Ghost to soften our hearts and
Bring answers to our minds and be able to see into the heart and mind of these historical characters and really who they really were
And we can't listen to the critics. You got to not do it
Learn from them sure if you're exposed to it. That's okay
you can you can see I'm doubting and I you know, I realized that but
You've got to be able like you said study with the Holy Ghost and that will will so question turn into doubt and doubt
Removes testimony right actually preclude you from being able to have the spear in your life. And so try to
Research the good side of the history or the the historian the LDS historical
Perspective and and then go to God in prayer and have faith that he will soften your heart and he will answer your prayers
They I want to testify that
He will answer your prayers
So he answered mine. Yeah, so great. Yeah
So my email address if I can help you are a family member or a loved one

The Holy Spirit on Facebook Jesus. Yeah. Well, that's a very difficult for me

Intentional Dating with Purpose (A DATING REVOLUTION) - Duration: 5:08.Dating can be frustrating, disappointing,
not to mention time-consuming but how might
dating with purpose change everything?
Watch and find out. My name is Michelle
Baxo and for the best advice for
women in dating without compromising
yourself, be sure to subscribe to the
channel and hit the bell so you're
notified of our new videos every week.
Okay so let me guess, you want the next
person you commit to, to be the last
person you commit to, yes? Okay then
dating is the action to get you there
but you can't just go dating without
purpose or you might find yourself
giving up or dating a million men
without a man at the end of it. So I'm
gonna share with you three ways to date
with purpose so that you can cause
yourself a dating revolution. First, be
unapologetic for what you want. In other
words what is the purpose of you dating?
Is it for a life partner? Great, say that!
Saying that doesn't mean you're saying
that you want that guy sitting across
the table from you to be your life
partner. I mean, come on you hardly know
that guy. You're just saying, you're not
dating willy-nilly like maybe you did
when you were 16. You have purpose behind
your actions and that is powerful. You
can even bring this further. If you want
passion, start asking for it. Create date
ideas that pull for passion like tango
dancing or a beach fire. Was that first
kiss a little weak? Next time tell him to
grab you and kiss you like he means it.
Do you see what I mean? Being
unapologetic about what you want, is you
creating your purpose for dating. Now
take a minute and go down to the
comments and tell me what are some of
the things that you want? Practice now
being unapologetic. Make a declaration of
what you want, alright? Now the second
approach I want to give you for dating
with purpose is to date for the purpose
of your own expansion. Whatever you do
don't just make dating about what you
want. While the first suggestion I gave
you is powerful, it's also insufficient
and it will burn you out. So look at it
this way.
Imagine you're traveling and meeting all
kinds of different people. Don't you
learn so much about humanity and about
yourself when you do that? Bring that to
your date's. Now you're traveling your
own city beyond your limited view of
humanity and there is only so much to
gain from there. Just imagine
the difference if you had your
dating be about your own expansion in
that way. Alright and the third way for
you to bring purpose to your dating is
to date with pride. Shout it from the
rooftops!
Okay, this is an important conversation.
It is time for you to remove the
constraints that you have around dating
and looking for love. Are people around
you making you feel bad for still being
single? Screw them! Are others making you
feel like you shouldn't even want a
relationship? They're even worse! Do not
let others shame you around not having
what you want yet. You're allowed to want
whatever it is that you want and if you
want a chance of fulfilling it, you can't
be ashamed of it. If you're looking for
extraordinary love then I want you doing
this loud and proud! And the people in
your life best be getting behind you or
else you're just gonna have to wash out
that noise with how loud and proud you
are about what you want and how you're
gonna get it. So these are three ways
that you can bring purpose to your
dating life and I'm telling you they
have the capacity to revolutionize your
love life. Now can you tell this is a
different kind of conversation about
dating and love? This is power love! This
is what I'm talking about. And for many
of you, the next step is to sign up for
my free Power Love Workshop so you can
get more clear about what you want and
how to get it. Secondly, I want you to
listen to my interview with Laura
Kennedy from her Manifest Epic Love
Series. You're gonna hear some really
important conversations about power love.
For instance, you'll hear how setting
standards can be a sneaky way of not
having to risk your heart. You'll also
hear my personal story (which is a good one)
You'll hear about how achieving
power love is so much more than having a
checklist of traits. I could go on and on
but this is a conversation you'll want
to hear, so both those links will be in
the description below. Now you know I
always want to hear: Was this video
useful? Was it helpful? Tell me about it.
Do you have any questions? Be sure to ask
and I'll respond personally to them and
if you liked it, you know what to do,
click like, be sure to subscribe, share
it with someone that this could make a
difference with. Love yourself, love your
life and fall in love... don't settle!

People of beach city you might think that being a mayor is a fine and glamorous sort of thing
I can understand why my opponent would want the position
But I've been mayor this city for a decade and I know some things that Miss. Nano fois does
Not you see when you're the mayor you get blamed for everything
When the boardwalk has termites it's the mayor's fault. Wait aliens steal people
It's the mayor's fault when the mayor crashes the mayor mobile into the only cell tower in town
It's the mayor's fault. Most people can't handle that kind of pressure, but I can
So I say to you beach city citizens, just enjoy our wonderful ocean breeze and don't worry about a thing
Just let Dewey
Do it for you
Nice you know, Mayor Julie you are right I am
About what I have blamed you for too many things and that is not helping
Blaming our problems completely on the mayor is not getting us anywhere
when one of our sofas tits our sofas when you suffer mayor billion the town
so fast
So no longer will I point my fingers at you?
I will extend all my fingers on both my hands to
Everyone here today I ask that we share responsibility
for the welfare
acepted of Beach City
You ever notice how people from ocean town Oh
Who am I kidding?
Beach City deserves a real mayor someone wise and collected like Miss Nana for
No, no, no, I would drop in a race you can find the key to the city under the city welcome
Well, I know it's not very traditional to do that in the middle of a debate but
Well, you were wrong what do you want me to say, how about I'm sorry
We're in this together and I let you down come on universe, you know, she's gonna be a better mayor than me
It was the right thing to do I guess but I still feel
betrayed
That's probably how con he feels yeah, I don't know what you're talking about but I've got to find a new job

John and his wife love their new dual panel windows from American Vision Windows! - Duration: 1:21.Our windows have a story to tell should it yours
Well, my name is John Lopez and we just got all our windows replaced by American Vision Windows and I'm really happy. I heard them on
The radio call them and then start to get some prices found out that these were great windows for a great price
And no it couldn't beat it anywhere else. So that's why I went with American Vision Windows
I knew I needed new windows when the windows were resting up. They were single pane windows. I needed double pane windows
I needed something that with box and open better
Keep it warm during the winter time and I just knew it was time
I would like to convey that they're honest every time I talk to a different person whether it be a salesperson
Someone at the office no one ever changed anything on me and I just thought well
I'm gonna go with this company
The installation process was amazing. How quickly did it, you know?
They had people sure that knew what they were doing and everything's great
And I'm just surprised really went so fast, but I'm totally grateful for the quality working
My wife said it looks like a different house, and it looks like a new house, so she's happy. I'm happy
And I definitely recommend them to everybody
My brother needs Windows now
so I'm gonna come I'm gonna call them haven't come over and look at him because once I find a good company or good
Specialist in some area. I always tell people about them and I would definitely recommend them 100%

The Village Part 1 | Garry's Mod - Duration: 31:21.Hello everyone. My name is Crow_Se7en. Welcome to Garry's Mod
This map called The Village part 1. Say hello to Kenny
Kenny: Hello
Let's - - Bleh... Rusty
C7: Shall we begin? Kenny: Understood
Russian and English
Kenny: Why? Oh
I think the creator wants us to make this map more darker so we can't see anything
Kenny: It said it will make this map more realistic
C7: Are you sure? Kenny: I guess I will try that
Are you sure...? Are you sure...?
Kenny: Really
Once upon a time, you walked late at night, but something frightened you and you
decided to stay in the nearest barn, instead go back home. You slept for a while and
now decided to return to the house. Parents know that you stayed overnight in a barn,
but do not know why. But in any case, it's better to go home and sleep there, safe
Oh, Kenny is still doing the setting stuff. Great
Good?
Read the story. He didn't pay attention
So... We're staying at our farm friend's barn...
Kenny: We know who
Kenny: This place looks exactly like his barn
Our farm friend grows the hay... HAY!
We can't use the flashlight...
Kenny: Oh right...
Kenny: That's really hard to see anything!
Find another way
Kenny: Interesting...
That's scary...
Kenny: Where are you going?
I see something. Look over there!
Look, the light is over there
Kenny: It's far!
A house is over there
Kenny: Seriously, it's really hard to see
Kenny: Why did we go there?
We need to get in the house
Kenny: I can see the stars
It's really beautiful
It's ugly... It's ugly!
Stop stop stop...
Kenny: Good night
I don't want to sleep with you. Get out
Kenny: Obviously
It's still nighttime!
Kenny: Maybe we slept short
Please...
That's really helpful. They give the hints
C7: ... 1:00 AM! Kenny: I knew it! We slept short!
Oh, you put the food in the microwave. Thank you
Kenny: That's what we did in the college. Heat up the noodle soup
Put the food on the table
Come on, eat together
C7: Go to bed already? Ok... Kenny: Delicious... Already?!
Kenny: Who will wake up, eat food, and go back to sleep?
It called the midnight snack
Kenny: True
You can sleep on the floor
C7: What is wrong the windows? Kenny: It's still nighttime!
I don't see anything
Kenny: What do you think what time is it?
3:00AM!
I don't know...
Now what? I don't know what we are doing
Kenny: It said windows or something
Let's go upstairs
Kenny: I don't like this place
Oh, the parents room
This is a bathroom
Why did it have to be so bright in the bathroom?
Kenny: And why does this bathroom look so ugly like a prison bathroom?
Kenny: What are we looking for? C7: Find the key because we're locked in the house
What did you say? What did you say?!
C7: It said I don't need the key! Kenny: He doesn't need the key!
It's in the box!
I think we should split and search everywhere to find the key
Kenny: Yeah
Do you need to go to the toilet? Ok fine... Let's go to the bathroom...
Move move... Go to bed
Kenny: No thanks. Let's go to sleep
The parents are in their bedroom
Kenny: Seriously
Where is the telephone?
Kenny: I noticed they changed the color
Go upstairs
Kenny: We should call someone
Where is the phone?
Kenny: That's weird
Kenny: We're still looking for the phone
Oh my god, It's Windows XP!
Kenny: And the computer is loud
Kenny: Loud as a fan
Kenny: My god... That screen is awful
Kenny: That start up music
Now what?
Kenny: Now what?
Kenny: Yes, this is our farm friend's house. Look at the shelf
Minecraft
Let's check upstairs
I dunno
Damn...
Damn, chill out
Go go... Move move... Check the door. I dunno
Kenny: That was really good
I guess go to upstairs
Kenny: You better not scare us again!
Kenny: I don't like it
Look at the blood
Kenny: We should leave now
Fk fk fk go
It's upstairs. Duh!
Kenny: Now, we got the key
I know where it is
There you are
Kenny: Get the key?
It's green
Kenny: I know this song
It's just music
Get the key...
Kenny: I don't know
I don't know what you're saying
Kenny: Seriously, come on
Kenny: I don't understand
Kenny: It sounds like a robot's voice
The crate key
Ok
Why do we have to go to the basement?
Kenny: Ok, this is scary
Where is the flashlight
Hello
Oh hell no
Kenny: I don't like it
Hey wait!
It's hard to see anything
Kenny: I can't see anything!
Where are you? Oh
I don't know
Kenny: What are you doing?
Look, the ladder
Kenny: Seriously, what is going on?
I see the ladder
C7: But it won't let me to climb the ladder, need the flashlight Kenny: We need the flashlight
Kenny: I found it
Thank god!
Where?
I dunno
It's open
Go to the back of the house
Hello?
We leave that place... forever
Kenny: I don't like this house
Where?
I don't see anything outside
It said someone is outside
Go look at the windows
You do it
Just go
Just look at the windows
Oh, it's nothing
Kenny: Seriously
Kenny: This is really scary
I don't like it...
Kenny: Now, I'm - -
Kenny: Stay here!
Turn off the flashlight!
Kenny: Seriously, it gives me chills
I guess we're staying here overnight until we can get out in the morning
Kenny: No
Someone is walking
Kenny: Rise the white flag
Are you done?!
Kenny: That's really good
It said escape! Run! Run!
Wait, how?
No! No!
Good map. I like that
I hate that feeling
Very secret room
I bet the pictures of the inappropriate parts drawing
Kenny: I can't open the doors
This is the toys room... Ok
That's all, folks. Thank you for watching. Please click Subscribe, Like, Share, or whatever that
will help me a lot. See you in the next video

craft and puppy vlog | august 2018 - Duration: 7:56.*intro music*
Hello everyone! It is me, Danna, from Waitlisted At Hogwarts
and I just wanted to say
really briefly before we get into this vlog
that it is Thursday morning and this actually wasn't the video I was intending to put up today
I had a whole other video
totally completely edited
I've been editing it for two days
somehow the footage from the SD card, as it was transferring to the computer
didn't work out
and the video would only play if my SD card was in my computer
so therefore would not upload to Youtube
and... I have to start from scratch
so... instead of editing that whole thing today
which took me forever to upload
*in dog voice* hi bebee
I'm going to be showing you this vlog
I really hope you enjoy it
it was supposed to be a reading vlog but ended up being more of a
booktube prep vlog
slash
crafty day
*in dog voice* hi bebee I know I'm filming
so instead of a reading vlog you are getting more of the crafty side of me
which I'm totally fine with
*in dog voice* hi mister!
*in dog voice* i knowww, you just want a hug don't you
*in dog voice* we all just want hugs
*laughing* o-kayyy, okay
*in dog voice* bebee I'm trying to film
I'm trying to film but you can sit right here
I hope you enjoy this!
I had a lot of fun on this day
and it gives you a sneak peek into future videos from me
so... I hope you enjoy!
hello everyone!
it is me Danna from Waitlisted At Hogwarts
and I have decided to open up a weekend
life
slash
reading
vlog
because
I'm just trying to film as much as possible at this point
I was going to start it yesterday
because I wanted to film my dogs at the dog park
because I thought it would be ADORABLE
and then my battery was fried
when I tried to charge it, it wouldn't hold charge
so I couldn't take my camera anywhere
today, I have some fun things planned!
I have to do some work first
and then my sister and I are going to go to Color Me Mine
which is like one of those painting ceramic-y places
so, I'll keep you updated
and then I also wanna, like
read a ton
so we'll see how that goes as well
just wanted to open this up
so
hello!
good morning!
and...
byeeee
*happy music plays*
hello everyone!
I'm now driving
my younger sister is holding the camera
which is my phone because my battery died again
while I was working
earlier this morning
so I just wanted to update you
you just watched, my like, time-lapse of me
working
on writing for a few hours
and... that was very productive
and now
we are driving to Jamba Juice
because we're gonna get smoothies
and then
we're gonna go paint some pottery
and then maybe hit up Michaels
on they way
back
*happy music plays*
*music fades*
me: *weird weeeehhhhh sound grows louder*
drew: oh
*laughter ensues*
me: they have all the letters
Drew: you should get these
me: oh those are cute but those would be hard to spray paint
me: i think
Drew: oh right
Drew: well, I thought you wanted black
me: i don't know *pitch changes*
hello everyone!
so Drew and I finished our Color Me Mine run
and now we are at Michaels
looking at spray paint
and I'm 18
so I think I can get some
Drew: you're 20
oh right, I'm 20
I'm over 18
so I think I can get some
but I guess we have to ask a person
about it
but yeah
we're planning a DIY video
for the channel
coming soon!
so that's why we're here
yup! okay, byeeeeee
*background music plays*
we have things! attained!
hello everyone!
it is me!
I am back at home!
we finished up at Michaels
and I will show you what I got
in a second for you
but in a little bit for me
and then we went to Trader Joe's
because my little sister and I
where are you draugh
there you are!
are home by ourselves tonight
so it is up to us to make dinner
so we got frozen meals that we are going to make
in like
right now
it is currently
umm i don't know
like
defrosting on the counter and getting everything wet
we also got
these Jo-Jo's
because we wanted them
and then I dropped them coming up the driveway
and half the box is now gone
but
yeah
anyways
I'm gonna make dinner
and then I'll show you what I got from Michaels
for my, one of my, booktube videos
actually, two of my future videos
that's the plan
and then I'm gonna do some prepwork
for a video
and then, I'm hopefully going to actually read
as part of this reading vlog
so
we'll see how that goes
but, just keeping you updated!
time to make foooood!
*high-pitched crackling*
*low-pitched crackling*
me: gyoza and vegetable-fried rice
and cauliflower stir-fry
makes for a perfect dinner!
*squeak* hey guys
it's been a hot minute since I've filmed for this vlog
i took a shower, and we ate and watched some Drake and Josh
and now we are going to do a little bit of filming
but before we get to that
I want to show you my Michael's haul
okay
the first thing we got
are these three, like, styrofoam poster board-y things
and then we have a bag
*sings* let's see what's in the bag
so in the bag, we have
this color, of, spraypaint
we got this, like, blueish spraypaint color
oh Max, sniff it up
then we have one more spraypaint color
other than that
we got a few other things
we got these, like, needle pliers-
drew: needle-nose pliers
needle-nose pliers
and we got these two
colored wire things
drew: they're copper and black
copper and black
drew: hi max
that concludes our Michaels haul
only a few things
but, you know, it's all for booktube
it's related
to my channel
which is why I'm showing you what I got
so, stay tuned for those videos!
I will catch you in the morning!
maybe
or sometime tomorrow
drew: CUT TO THE NEXT CLIP
*CLAP*
it is me again!
it is still thursday morning
a few seconds after I filmed that intro
I also just wanted to add in that
yes, it is thursday and
this week I hit 300 subscribers!
I think I'm around 310 right now
so I just wanted to say thank you so much
from the bottom of my heart
it really means the world to me that you guys support me in this way
and it's just wild that over 300 people have subbed to my channel
so... thank you so much!
I really appreciate it
and if you want any particular video to celebrate
please leave ideas in the comments down below
I can do Q&A's
i can do... something else
I dunno
what do people do besides Q&As
let me know in the comments down below
I just wanted to say a quick, thank you!
and I know I said that I was gonna be filming the rest of the weekend
but I ended up only filming Saturday
because Sunday I was exhausted
so, thank you so much for watching!
if you like this video

OBD TPMS relearn on a Hyundai Azera using the VT56 TPMS Diagnostic Tool - Duration: 2:37.How to perform an OPD relearn on a Hyundai Azera using a VT56 TPMS tool
The left front center on this vehicle is not in working order
So now we're going to need to replace it with a Dynamic Pro-Select sensor
So first we need to create new sensor IDs, so we're going to go to PROGRAM,
Select the sensor what we're working with and then select the Make, Model and Year,
Select CREATE and use the GREEN button to write the sensor IDs to the new sensor.
Now that it's been successfully programmed, we'll need to write to sensor IDs to the vehicle's ECU after it's been installed to the wheel.
Now that the sensor has been installed, we need to do a relearn procedure, so we're going to go to SERVICE and
for faster Make, Model and Year selection, we're going to scan the VIN
Select OK to continue,
and we're going to go to the OBD relearn procedure icon.
We'll need to follow the steps. The first thing we need to do is activate all of the sensors starting with the left front sensor.
Now we need to repeat it for the rest of the wheels and then follow the procedures.
Now that all the sensors have been activated we're going to follow the remaining steps, so press OK to continue,
Now let's plug it into the tool,
Press OK, and
it will show you where the OBD module is going to be located and plugged in.
Now we're going to press okay to write the IDs to the ECU.
Make sure that the ignition is on, and it's a successful transfer!
Thanks for watching! For more information on ATEQ TPMS tool solutions, Visit us at ateq-tpms.com.

#BookNetFest 2018 Tag! [CC] - Duration: 15:09.Hey guys! My name is Nikki aka The Dragon
Queen and today I'm here with the
BookNet Fest Tag. Now I was tagged in this by
Desirai over at Libri Libra and I can't
wait for BookNet Fest. I honestly can't.
I went last year and had so much fun. I
got to meet so many people and it was
inspiring. And it's so inspiring that I
once again am starting my BookTube
channel again! Whoo!
Now if you haven't noticed I haven't really
been on lately because I have a problem.
Mostly I haven't read much this year.
I haven't really acquired more books
either but I just I haven't read
anything or listened to anything this
year. I know
shame on me, shame on me but we're going
to change that. Yeah so first off, I
apologize for the lighting... I'm getting
readjusted-- reacquainted, also my phone is
currently haphazardly sitting on a box
on two books and a little plastic piece
on top of my tripod cause the little piece
that holds my phone where I could
actually, like, angle it to have the
better camera in the back, it's missing. I
don't know where it is. It's somewhere in
this house and I can't afford to replace
it right this second. So this is what you
get. But you get to see me! So it's
exciting, so excite! Like my haircut by
the way? Isn't it cute? All cut on the
side? This is actually a week growth.
Anyway losing track. So the first
question is to introduce myself so I'm
Nikki aka The Dragon Queen I have been
on BookTube for three ish years with the
last seven-eight months of a hiatus. I
live in Florida, I am 30, I'm married and
have two pets a dog and a cat: Jasmine and
Pixel. My husband and I are both in
the process or in the process of
adopting currently so we are hopefully
going to have a son or daughter soon as
well, somewhere between the ages of 2 and
13. We're not really picky. So we'll see.
Hobby wise, which you'll see with this
channel update, I like reading, writing,
crafting, Dungeons & Dragons, and gaming.
Not hard core at any of those except
for maybe Dungeons and Dragons. I may be
a little obsessed with D&D. If you ask my
friends they'll say it's a lot a bit of a
obsession. If you ask my husband he'll
say it's crazy obsessed. We don't ask
them. It's fine! On to the next question.
Are you going to BookNet Fest. Yes, I am!
This will be the second annual BookNet
Fest on September 7th and 8th and I went
last year. And it was so much fun! I was
so glad that I did. I didn't really know
what to expect last year and that was
when I was in BookTube but I was kind of
not feeling it. Like I was doing it, I
just I felt like I was in a rut. I wasn't--
I was just doing what everybody else was
doing and I didn't like it, like I didn't
like everybody does tag Tuesday you have
to do tag Tuesday. Everybody does follow
Friday you have to do follow Friday.
I wanted something different but I
didn't know how to branch out and I
didn't know how to talk to people. So my
best friend Ashley went with me to Book
Net Fest last year with zero
expectations and I was blown out of the
water. People actually had said like, "Oh
I've seen your videos before" or "I've seen
you on Twitter" and I'm like explosion!
Actually last year at BookNet Fest I hit
200 subscribers for the first time and I
was just like what is going on people
are liking what they're watching? They're
not just subscribing and disappearing? I
am so confused! And then of course I went
through mental shit and then just
disappeared four months later. But you know
whatever.
I'm back.
Surprise! But I had so much fun last
year and when they asked if people would
be willing to go again even if they had
to pay, I'm like sign me up! I do not care!
I will go! I will go every single time if
I am able to go every single time. It's--
it's not even like what the panels are
it's not even who's there, it's just the
camaraderie and the community that come
together and just show each other how
much love and respect and acceptance
there is in BookTube and
how open and willing people are to
accept everybody. And if I felt
uncomfortable somebody made me feel
comfortable, somebody helped me feel
welcomed. Somebody helped encourage
inclusion and inclusiveness and
acceptance for everybody and anybody and
it was wonderful. It was absolutely
amazing and this year--from what I
understand they're taking in a lot of
the suggestions from the previous year
in. Like incorporating that to improve
and that's amazing! Like one of the ideas
that I had last year and I had offered a
what kind of like this but I offered it
to volunteer for it and that was to
create a kind of welcoming committee a
group of people that just has a spot
where they can sit and if anybody ever
feels like they're alone or needs
somebody or don't know who to talk to
they can come up to that group of people.
And they are openly saying I am willing
to talk if you need to talk. And then
another idea I had was-- so did Sylvia at
Wish Fulfillment because she mentioned
it-- was a like a quiet space. A place to
go and get away from it all.
When it's overwhelming --especially for an
introvert-- so I completely understood
that I felt that way after a couple
hours... I'm like okay,
I love it, I love this, but it's a lot.
It's so much at once. And when
you're introverted you need to recharge.
And it looks like they took those into
consideration this year. And that's
wonderful. That's amazing!
They also expanded it to two days this
year instead of just the one day last
year and I think that's going to be
fantastic.
I'm actually going up Thursday night so
that I can spend time with people this
time instead of feeling like I rushed
myself like I did last year. Last year I
fully anticipated it being awkward and
uncomfortable and I'm like okay we'll
drive up in the morning we'll leave
right after, we'll be back in time for
like we'll be home by 9:00 I live like
two hours away...it'll be fine!
So we didn't make plans to meet up with
anybody, to make plans to go out to
dinner with anybody, we didn't make plans
and then I started getting drawn into
conversations and I was like I don't
want to leave! So this year I'm rooming with
two lovely women on BookTube I'm rooming
with Desirai at Libri Libra, the same
person who tagged me and Kayla at HeroicPages
as well as my
best friend and Desirai's husband. And
possibly one more person if
somebody takes the couch. But I'm so
excited because these are people that
I've been talking to you on the internet
and I met Kayla last year and we kind of
hit it off. We became friends on
Twitter and then throughout the year, we
started talking more and more and
realized we have an obsession with D&D
in common together. So that just blew
up the friendship. The only person that's
not going that I wish was going is
Heather The Happy Booktuber or Zether
Books because I would love to meet her.
But unfortunately that was not in the cards
this year. Maybe next year she'll be able
to drive down. She lives a little bit
further than I do so it's a bit of a
hike for her. What platforms do I use to
express my love of books? Now mostly I
used Facebook for most of my gushing of
anything. I do have Twitter I was active
really when I was heavily involved in
booktube I haven't been active as much
lately I do want to get back into that.
Also I have an Instagram I don't use it
very much like I'll occasionally post a
selfie or something or like a picture of
my dog, so most of my pictures it's like
I have a puppy cuddles picture and like
that's the extent of my Instagram. I
don't have any of the other sites like
snapchat or tumblr or anything like that.
I do use Goodreads but I mostly use it
to keep track of my reading and less to
actually talk to people. Occasionally
I'll scroll through and see what people
are doing and if I see somebody reading
something that I love that I'll like
like they're posted be like, "How do you
like it? Oh my god is it amazing?" but I
haven't really gotten into any other
channels. Obviously I do have a BookTube
channel which you are currently watching,
welcome! And you can follow me on Twitter
at Dragon Queen Lair
Whatever.
Are you reading, have you read, or do you plan on
reading the #BookNetReads
books. Now these books are You Bring The
Distant Near and Spinning Silver. Now I
didn't even know these existed until
today, so I have purchased them on
Audible and I will attempt to listen to
them if I can before the eighth or
seventh, but I cannot make any promises.
Mostly because one of the biggest
challenges I've run into this year is I
am obsessed with Critical Role and I've
been listening to that constantly
instead of listening to audiobooks so if
you count those I probably consume like
40 or 50 books but if you don't count
them which I can't count them
technically I've consumed nothing since
January. At least in audiobook standards.
in paperbacks I haven't really read. I am
in the middle of a book right now and I
picked it up and I read like 120 pages
in one day and then I read like 50 pages
another day and I haven't picked it up
since. It's been like a week but I had
the stomach flu last week so I'm kind of
assuming it's because of that I was just
miserable I didn't want to do anything
and I had a horrible massively horrible
migraine from dehydration. So I'm gonna
try to finish that book as well this
week which will be the first book
I've read since January other than one
audio book that I finished. I'm on the
progress to getting to my Goodreads goal--
I don't think that's gonna happen I'm
far behind. What are you most looking
forward to a BookNet Fest. Now I kind of
already answered this I just like the
community and the commrodi--why do I keep trying to say that word.
it's like everybody people people are
They're amazing.
Being able to discuss books is amazing,
being able to be surrounded by that
world and just surrounded by the
like-minded individuals, even if you have
differing opinions on what styles of
books you like. People -- everybody
there is there for the same passion of
books and the written word and that's
pretty damn awesome. And it's only like
two and a half hours away from my house--
two hours away from my house or
something. Where BookCon or whatever
that's called like in New York that's
really far and expensive and I can't
afford it. Have you attended other
bookish events that you'd recommend? Not
really. I attended one kind of sorta
bookish event in my local area it was
okay it wasn't amazing it wasn't
horrible. It was okay. It was small, it was
a lot of indie authors and kudos to indie
authors but some of these were not kudos
they're just like oh you wrote a book
Congrats-- let me walk this way.
Some are a little concerning to say the
least
otherwise I really haven't --I did attend
Megacon for a day and I bought books
there. Does that count? What book are you
planning to read that weekend? Now if all
goes as planned I won't be. I don't
think I'm driving so I may read in the
car but it's kind of rude to read when
somebody's driving, so I'll probably not
be reading in the car and while I'm there
I'm gonna be filming a shit ton of
collabs and hanging out with people and
playing D&D because Kayla and I have
to play D&D. We have to it's the only
time I could play with someone from
Canada. I mean come on now --well in person
from Canada. I don't think it'll make a
difference but you know whatever I'm
gonna play a Kayla. God. Do you have any
Internet book friends that you are
excited to see. I've already answered
that. Hi friends!
So I'm gonna tag I guess I'll tag Kayla
at HeroicPages and I'm gonna tag
Heather at The Happy Booktuber even
though I know she can't go. Some of these
questions are if you are going to be
yearning from afar or watching
from afar, so she might be doing that. So
maybe she'll participate in the book tag
as well. And she could say for next year.
That'll be fun but maybe next year
Heather we will get together and be able
to give each other hugs and be like yeah
we met and then awkwardly go read!
It'll be great it'll be fantastic. So
anyway that is my BookNet Fest
tag I don't know who the hell to tag
that hasn't already done it so... tag
you're it! If you haven't done it hi
welcome welcome to my channel I hope you
do the tag. I hope you like it. Like
it if you like it, subscribe if you want
to, and this is the Dragon Queen signing
off.
