Οne more dive starts in the aftenoon

Once more a Dentex is the only target today...

The gun is found and we re ready to start our ambushes...

A group of Sargus comes from the deep, some of them really good sized!

But no Dentex around...

I won't make a shot and i'll dive once more close to this spot...

Later on a group of Dentexes shows up...

A good sized Gilthead seabream holds the other fish back...

Until the whole group follows the fish deeper...

Next dive will be a deeper one for me too...

I notice rocks deeper than me and a group of Dentex already around them...

That's when a group of Palamitas comes for a closer look...

Hoping to get a Dentex i don't take the shot...

Sadly a 2kg Dusky and few Sargus are the only fish around...

I stop the dive to do a new one,on the deeper part of this rocky spot...

With just minutes of light remaining...

I decide to take a 10min recovery break....

...and try a final even deeper dive!

In the end...patience pays off!

Dive safe!!!

Springing Off a Dock | BoatUS - Duration: 2:21.

If the wind is blowing hard, it can be hard to get off the dock, so today I'm going to

show you a simple rope technique to get you clear.

Hi, I'm Mark Corke from BoatUS Magazine and we're going to use a technique called "springing

off."

And that is just using a rope around the piling and back to the boat, no bow, no stern thrusters,

and we'll get clear of the dock without doing any damage to the boat or the dock.

You'll notice that I have a line attached to a midships cleat, and then I'll run this

line forward around a cleat or piling on the dock.

I then loop this around and run it back on board.

We don't want to tie the line off to the dock because once we've swung the bow out, we want

to be able to let the line run around the cleat, or in this case the piling, and bring

it quickly back on board.

You'll need a helper for this maneuver, and I'm lucky enough to have Lenny to help me.

He's got two jobs: One is to hold the end of the line and be ready to let go when I

say and also to position a fender between the dock and the hull to save damaging the

boat.

With one turn around the cleat, the line is quite secure, and it will not be pulled from

Lenny's hand.

Now, I'm shifting the boat into stern gear and you'll notice that the tension comes up

on the line.

You'll also want to turn the wheel towards the dock to let the bow swing out.

When the bow of the boat is all clear of the dock and the boat is at a 45-degree angle

or so, swiftly shift into forward and at the same time turn the wheel the other way.

It's necessary to move swiftly during this maneuver as we don't want the boat to be swung

back into the dock and do any damage to either the boat or those that may be front or behind

us.

As the boat gathers way in forward, get the crew to take the turn off the cleat and drop

the line overboard.

Bring the fenders back in board, and pull the line back onto the boat.

Keep going forward until you're all clear.

So there you have it.

I've used a rope and a simple technique to get away from the dock.

It's no big deal.

Go out, practice this on your own boat.

Then if it's really windy, you'll know exactly what to do.

Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel, and we'll see you on the water.

Thanks for watching.

MY SECRET SURGERY. - Duration: 24:00.

what's up everybody welcome back to my

channel today's video it's a little

heavy it's something I never thought I

would be sitting in front of a camera

and talking about but I think this is

definitely a new chapter for me in my

life and I would love to share some more

things and maybe there are people out

there that have similar problems or

similar medical conditions as the one I

am about to reveal you saw the thumbnail

that's real footage and you were about

to see some very graphic content not

blood no cutting nothing crazy like that

but there are some graphic scenes of me

in the hospital room being put under

anesthesia I look very disturbed for a

minute it's very weird... there's a lot

happening so if you are bothered by

medical stuff I'm just warning you now

there will be that type of footage

throughout this video! so today we're

going to be talking about a very dark

medical secret that I've had for a while

we're talking since I was six years old

I first noticed this problem I had no

idea what it was at the time obviously

at such a young age but we know any like

have been embarrassed by something your

whole life you've had something a secret

forever you've never told a stranger

you're like family your mom is really

the only one that knows that's what this

is and once you find out what it is you

may think it's nothing you may pick oh

good that's whatever to me it's been

something that has hindered my life it's

something that has haunted me and it

involves chewing it involves swallowing

it involves my esophagus so recently me

and my assistant Madison went for a

crazy procedure where we had our

esophagus is dilated and widened to help

with a problem we have now if you're

probably like what the fuck are you guys

talking about we have a condition that

is really hard to pronounce it is a

tongue twister it is called yo Cinna

philic esophagitis okay bitch that is a

tongue twister so I'm gonna pull up the

definition now the doctor will be on

camera shortly in the operating room but

basically I have a condition where I

have problems swallowing food now

let me just get the dick sucking jokes

out the way bitch I can take an 11-inch

or down this throat now my swallowing

right here is not the problem I throat

is good honey I actually don't even have

a gag reflex I cannot make myself throw

up I haven't thrown up in years except

one time in Hawaii a few years ago never

again I could take my finger I don't

choke I don't make any noise nothing

bothers me right yes that's why Nathan's

here but all sexual jokes aside there is

something severely wrong with my

esophagus which is way lower right here

gonna pulp the definition and on Google

it says that it is a allergic

inflammatory condition of the esophagus

that involves eosinophils a type of

white blood cell symptoms are swallowing

difficulty high food impaction remember

that a vomiting not me thank God and

heartburn definitely experienced that

how do you treat it there's really not

there's no cure okay so I have to live

with this for the rest of my life now a

lot of you probably like what is all

this really mean basically when I was

six years old it was the first time I

choked on a piece of food like actually

choked where I couldn't breathe and it

was like it was like right here and I'll

never forget that fear that panic even

though it was so long ago I will never

forget the fear of almost choking to

death

No thank God in Orange County the fire

department was down the street they

saved my life

I've never eaten a piece of steak since

then it's not that's crazy right I just

have this fear any food that I've ever

had an issue with I've never eaten again

it's very scary so if I don't chew my

food correctly it gets stuck now when I

was six years old that incident I

actually choked ever since then I've had

about eight or nine times throughout my

life recently two years ago where I will

get food stuck now it's a very bizarre

situation because I'm not choking right

I'm not like it gets stuck where I can't

even swallow my own saliva which is

obviously horrifying it happens when I'm

very stressed out it happens if I don't

chew correctly and I'm just like talking

and overthinking and the food gets stuck

and what do you have to do you have to

go to the emergency room you have to get

the food knocked

you got to be put under or you have to

have it removed I've had scenarios where

the doctor kept me awake and they took a

clear tube and ice water and shoved it

down my throat and knocked the food out

and pulled it out and there was like a

mushroom I've been put under where

they've had to had a gastro surgeon come

in and removed the food so this is

something that has haunted me my entire

life until about five years ago I kind

of didn't acknowledge it it was just

something to happen to me and I didn't

want to really talk about it but five

years ago it was really bad and I was on

a photo shoot I was in Wisconsin on set

actually shooting the single for love to

my Cobain my last single I ever wrote

and I got food stuck and it was so bad

and so scary I said I have to find

someone who could help me so after some

extensive research on this condition I

googled it I found people that had

similar situations and who and if you've

watched my video about my mother

recently she has the same condition

didn't know that it's like insane so I

find dr. Edwards share and I see him I

have a visit I have a consultation I

even set up an appointment to get this

operation done that I'm about to show

you and I bitched out I didn't do it I

got scared it wasn't the right timing I

kept putting it off I changed the

appointment and five more years went by

a lot of it had to do with my teeth so

if you don't know I've had my whole

mouth restored prior to that my back

teeth were really bad okay so this

wasn't just about cosmetics or being

insecure it also hindered me and made my

life worse because normal people's teeth

obviously you bite down and your teeth

hit perfectly mine was like this where I

could barely chew my food correctly

because my teeth were inverted I'm gonna

do a whole teeth story one day because I

want to show you guys the before and

afters and what's what really happened

cuz it was a hellacious journey so it

has been such a battle

I love eating I eat all the time you

guys know I have a very fast metabolism

so I do eat all the time I just have to

chew five times more than the average

person so if you ever around me or you

ever see me bitch

everyone's meals done and I'm like

halfway done

something bad happened a few months ago

I was eating a hot dog on a bun the bun

was dry I hadn't eaten all um that

morning I'd filmed something I was like

yeah we're gonna go to a barbecue and I

went to my friend's house and I

literally was in the house for two

minutes

chewed stuck and normally have to go to

the hospital but for a few hours I let

myself sit and relax and it's still

stuck I was panicking and like Maddie I

donno what to do I need to go to a

hospital and then I was like I'm just so

tired like sometimes I know it sounds so

dumb but I was like so tired I didn't

want to go to the hospital for the first

time so another six hours went by girl

took a few hits I relaxed I was in bed

in one position for hours like sitting

up like and the bread finally shifted

and I'll never forget that fear melting

away and the food went down and I was

like oh my god I cannot believe it went

down and I was so scared about happening

again

the next day I went to the doctor and I

made another appointment

went back to dr. Cher and in the midst

of all this I find out that my assistant

Madison has the same condition now what

are the odds were all from Orange County

something's in the water

Huntington Beach I want the mayor to

call me so my mom has this problem I

have this problem now this person that

has entered my life has the same problem

and it's like whoa it's so weird so she

she goes mad he goes I've had the

surgery was it's not a surgery it's like

you'll see what it is it's not cutting

it's not blood but it's widening it's

dilating so Maddie had this operation

done once and they it helped it dilated

her but it's been years now here's the

thing there's no cure your throat and

your esophagus will shrink back you know

naturally some people it's quick some

people it's takes years who knows so

she's felt herself a little weird so I'm

like you know what we're pulling a

double girl what'd you say earlier

Christian

fuck man you got a laugh during a

serious video you guys life's dark I'm

like I have to laugh at my own condition

what am I gonna do cry every night so

two holes for the price of one I said

you know what let's boat let's do a

double widening all right now I'm gonna

take you into the hospital room and you

guys are about to see what went down all

right you guys I am about to get my I'll

forget something whitened I know this is

the craziest thing ever so we got the

blends iakh is here and we're gonna put

on our scrubs so I go in there and maybe

some of you out there going are you

nervous honestly I'm ready I'm not I'm

ready to get this issue handled and

taking care of it's definitely it's been

a long time coming

I should add Gucci make me accounting

myself it's a long evening what happened

last night

oh it's working okay so he's gonna die

late today yeah I've never done it

before

definitely give you more information

about what he finds there after he takes

a look - I'm gonna get it off those

Corey today so what we're gonna do today

yeah you're gonna breathe it on your own

yeah dr. ose you take a look down there

I'm expecting to find some narrowing

some significant

thickening of the Rico's me down gently

violent biopsy it and then you decide

what to do in the future

okay they decide to be some swallowed

steroid

it's shit we need to or this may take

you for the next you know your two or

three whatever okay these are two

dollars and fifty cents

I'll write you guys I am about to be put

under we're gonna do some heavy Twilight

sleep and I'm gonna be passed out I

don't think it was ever seen being

passed out on this channel before so

it's about to get interesting

nice and quiet yeah like

you're a tea party yeah that's the drugs

a little bit oh yeah sure today I feel

like we're in a wolf of Wall Street with

the song on it perfect how are you shy

why do you let me live okay belly button

that way

very fast yeah 15 30 seconds

thirty Seconds Chris okay

you suppose our egress here we go

Oh

yep

all right

oh that is a little hard to watch seeing

yourself go under the eyes rolling back

in my head it was very disturbing the

first time that Chris played for me I

was like whoa that is so obviously I'm

under I have no idea what went down so

you may wonder Geoffrey why don't you

show more so I guess while that was

under my esophagus was so narrow the

camera and the equipment was really

irritating me so I was kind of like what

were you saying Christian that guys yeah

so it's called imagining you're under

and your body is coughing and sneezing

so they didn't want me to show it look

like I was having a seizure or anything

cause it was nothing wrong with me I'm

medically completely fine yeah I looked

probably crazy so there probably a girl

cut so they asked Christian to leave for

a minute so they could finish the

procedure obviously and then after mine

they did Madison's right away so we

first of all what do you guys think

about all this what do you think about

the fun is you just watched does it

creep you out a creeped me out for real

but I wanted to share this because I

don't know if there are more of you out

there that have this issue or maybe you

just might learn something new and I

just kind of wanted to share things that

I am afraid to talk about and I wanted

to challenge myself so this is really

why I made this video now

we're gonna but we're about to have some

laughs because this is kind of like a

long loop we're about to happen but

there is footage I forgot existed where

me and Madison come out of anesthesia

and well let me bring Maddie in here

we're gonna watch this for the first

time so she doesn't know this but she's

coming over right now I had to come over

here and I said hey we're about to play

something funny now we've done this

procedure a few weeks ago she is know

what's about to happen so hi girl

hi so Madison is usually behind the

scenes but she's my personal assistant

and she travels everywhere with me and

you also have see is gonna feel like

esophagitis

it's a tongue-twister it's a

tongue-twister now when we both bonded

over that how do you bond over an odds

what are the odds so you had the

procedure done once yeah like for almost

five years ago and they were able to

widen it a little bit but they told me

you know as the years go by

you're probably gonna tighten up again

so you're gonna want to do it probably

one maybe two more times over the next

like ten years so sounds like my badger

plasti vaginal rejuvenation right yeah

yeah so I was skeptical but it actually

worked for her so you know what great

but it's been it was yours for you so

you're ready for round two

I was ready ready for another widening

the perfect time you haven't even seen

the footage from me being put out there

yet but I do want to show you us coming

out of anesthesia okay we're gonna watch

that I'm so scared

I've watched a clip of this and I was

like oh my god I didn't I've never seen

it edited right here in our faces so

we're gonna see us both coming out of

anesthesia and I don't remember anything

really I don't know how did we get home

do Bo burrow didn't oh you drove us

never laid out in the back seat and I

was in the front cuz you were what you

went under they had you under longer oh

let's talk about this oh my god I had

more anesthesia as well so you were like

way more groggy than I was

cuz mine was like I think mine was like

20 minutes so it was like super quick my

god

over about like 30 hmm so you were much

more out of it than I was when we got in

the car you're like I just need to lay

down and go just lay flat in the

backseat this looks like to blackout

while drinking or no yeah kinda

whoof yeah y'all are crazy

I slept in the back of your car yeah

okay we're just gonna click play we're

just gonna dive into it we're turning up

the volume and oh yeah here we go

Jeffrey asia-pacific that take that is

the we'd rather watch yeah it was crazy

pausing oh wow

Ida flops right back over so I must have

fell back asleep right Chris or no good

good all right

oh my god my honor

like fuck it up I need help

where's the star mayor let's do this but

I can't just say

no I dig me let me down no it's a

burning right now with a tiny bit for no

craziness yeah I like I need cold stone

now I like these go ahead

what personnel do you want I want Nate

this down the game we have to be a lot

of calories one which I want to go to

Red Robin I want to go to Chili's I'm

gonna go to Waffle House I'm gonna go to

crab roe crack copper barrel after

barrel cracker bro I need you bitch I

know you're all enjoy a legend and hate

me but I need your pancakes okay what's

up girl

like the worst I've ever seen holy man

solodar two areas that a pretty darn

tight okay I'm up here in the middle

yeah i dilated very very carefully okay

I could not get the scope to into the

stomach

wow that rare is about 11 millimeters in

diameter well it's usually such a

situation and dilated enough you can

smoke through but I was being a married

that's the special careful okay as I

mentioned not too little not too much

yeah so I'm not sure how much detail you

want but

until I got a so called dilation effect

okay meaning old terror the mucosa and

we need to come back a little bit more

okay I think I swallowed steroids

what y'all abandoned that me would be a

good plan okay wow yeah that was her not

too bad oh she was a piece of cake

doesn't want to get married but she's

there I'm not really an older older man

but she was in my throat and we're not

dating I'm like new experiences I don't

remember any of that

that such that is so weird to see I am

like fully on another planet I don't

really I don't remember I don't I

remember like one sentence I said I

think like about eating everything else

a full blur a full blink Wow how the

human brain is weird

how do you still see yourself like that

I think if I would have seen myself how

you saw yourself a beat even though that

is really hilarious to me cuz I don't

remember I thought everything was so

funny

okay so as you guys saw he said that

mine so yours wasn't his narrow

obviously yeah she's had it before and

then he dilated her even wider which is

amazing have you had any problem since

not anything major no just like more

more normal heartburn which is yeah part

of this mission

now you guys saw him say that he could

even fit the scope down where they could

normally do it and someone's like what

chest kind of area yeah

it's like right here I couldn't do it

and I was like whoa he said one of mine

was the worst ever I was just like great

but hey if this is what's wrong with me

you got to deal with it so since then I

have been on the steroid medication it

has helped I have had no choking or

weird swallowing issues I've had

instance where maybe felt a little weird

but I was like nothing like oh my god

I'm freaking out yeah and everything's

been fine now what did the doctor say

that I have to do go back yeah they want

me to go back so they want to try again

in a few months if I'm up for it

I don't know I'm always very scared

about being put under I kind of have

like I don't care but I do care type of

thing in my head you just never know

what can go wrong

that's the scary part so I rarely do

those things but I really wanted to get

this procedure done I'm so glad we did

it together

I never knew Matt bond over us something

like this before so are you glad you did

it

yes thank you so much of course and I am

so happy I did it finally I think it was

long overdue and I'm glad I got over the

fear what do you guys think of all this

I want to I want to hear what they have

to say meet you let us know your

thoughts your prayers and yeah thank you

for joining us on this weird crazy

medical secret journey if you're ever

sad or depressed rewind the part where I

get put under thank you for watching

guys see you on the next one mwah

Lab Notes - Alternative glassware protection for sodium production (Successful) - August 31st 2018 - Duration: 11:54.

Greetings fellow nerds.

Doing another lab notes video on my project on making sodium metal.

As you already know by now i've been making sodium metal by the alcohol catalyzed magnesium reduction process and have been very successful so far.

I've been able to refine the techniques for recovering sodium and i've also been able to solve the troublesome glassware destruction problem.

Basically i had to dry the sodium hydroxide with sodium metal.

Overall things look pretty good.

Now it's just an optional matter of exploring the chemistry a bit more and maybe find a few more ways to streamline and optimize the process.

In this video i wanted to focus on finding an alternate way to dry the sodium hydroxide or jumpstart the reaction.

Using sodium metal is the best way since sodium just adds to our yield and doesn't contaminate our process or create additional waste.

After we get an initial jumpstart quantity of sodium and use it make more sodium we can just continually feed forward into subsequent runs.

But we still had the problem of getting the initial charge of sodium.

It wasn't too much of an issue though.

As we can just make it directly using the thermochemical dioxane process.

But for those amateurs who don't want to bother their neighbors with giants clouds of caustic smoke a pure wet chemical process would be desirable.

Even if it's more expensive and cumbersome, all we need is an initial jumpstart.

So my first idea was a rather crazy one and that was to dissolve a small portion of magnesium in methanol and make magnesium methoxide

and then use that to react with a small portion of sodium hydroxide in methanol.

Overall what would happen is that we'd make a mixture of magnesium oxides and sodium methoxides

and this in turn could be used to consume the water in a larger portion of sodium hydroxide.

Yeah i agree it was a rather stupid and crazy idea

but i'm of the philosophy that 5% to 10% of your research ideas should be crazy because that keeps you from being trapped in a rigid framework.

And once every year or so when your crazy idea does work it's awesome.

Unfortunately this wasn't one of them.

The magnesium methoxide and the sodium hydroxide solution formed a sol-gel that was really hard to dry out.

Oh well. Back to more mainstream ideas.

My next thought was to try and make sodium in a beaker.

Rather than avoid destroying glassware i thought we should attempt to make the cheapest sacrifice possible.

Beakers are very cheap compared to flasks with ground glass joints

so even if the beaker was destroyed that would be a much more acceptable sacrifice to get an initial charge of sodium.

So i ran the sodium production reaction using the alcohol catalyzed magnesium reduction approach in a beaker with a round bottom flask of water as a condenser.

It failed miserably and produced no sodium or reactive compounds.

I think the problem was air.

In all my reactions i always hooked up a bubbler to monitor progress.

This also prevents backflow of air into the flask.

But in a beaker I didn't have this so air could get in.

I think this reacted with any sodium produced and maybe also oxidized the alcohols.

So that was a failure.

To be certain i ran it a couple more times and also tried doing it with aluminum foil lining to reduce damage to the beaker in a separate line of inquiry.

It all failed, producing this thick goo of aluminum and magnesium oxides.

So for now i'm going abandon beakers.

But this doesn't mean it can't work.

Maybe making sodium a mason jar would be viable since they're designed to let gas out but not back in.

However, i'm not going to try this yet because i don't trust a soda lime glass mason jar to handle the extreme thermal stresses the reaction produces

as well as genuine borosilicate glass labware.

So let's move onto our new round of testing.

This is the flask for my next test.

I'm taking pictures now of before and after my experiments to document extremely subtle damage.

And this is going to be my new test apparatus.

I'm using a claisen adapter so i can connect a bubbler as well as insert a thermometer directly into the reaction mixture.

You might be wondering why i don't have a reflux condenser anymore.

I find that now that we're using much lower temperatures of around 200 celsius the baby oil evaporates very little.

Just the cooling action of the neck of the flask and the claisen adapter is enough to recondense it.

So we don't need the condenser anymore as long as we keep using the lower temperatures.

A small bonus of our chemistry that makes it even easier for the amateur to execute.

So for my next experiment i'm going to try using aluminum metal powder as the drying agent.

I had the idea for using aluminum metal after i realized in my last video

that the glassware destruction reaction generated water that i believe helped to cause further destruction and product loss.

The reaction of aluminum with sodium hydroxide is a water consuming reaction.

Although it does deplete some sodium hydroxide so we'll probably have less yield.

Anyway, after mixing in aluminum metal, sodium hydroxide, mineral oil and tertiary alcohol I inserted a digital thermometer and began heating.

I'm using an internal thermometer now to better track the internal temperature of the reaction mixture and make my results more reproducible.

Now that we've been able to lower our operating temperature down to 200 celsius small changes in temperature now have greater effects.

Anyway, i slowly ramped up the temperature from room temperature up to 200 celsius over the course of about four hours.

As you can see by the bubbling the reaction of aluminum and sodium hydroxide with water seems to be working and generating hydrogen.

Once i hit 200 celsius i held the temperature for another 4 hours and then let it cool to examine the flask.

And here we are at room temperature... This is not good.

This white clouding of the glass definitely wasn't there when we started and indicates the glass is being damaged.

This particular experiment is a failure.

Not to let an experiment go to waste i added magnesium anyway and still proceeded to try and make sodium.

This was to figure out if aluminum has a negative effect on the sodium production reaction.

I'm not sure if this is ultimately important

but i figured it was good data to have in case we decide to use aluminum vessels or other aluminum reactants in the future.

And after reacting for several hours we indeed did get sodium production.

It was slower than usual but that's probably because of insufficient water removal by the aluminum.

I processed the reaction as usual and i noticed that the aluminum doesn't mix in with the sodium.

This is a good thing actually and means that the sodium is relatively aluminum free.

And here is the cleaned flask.

The damage is there compared to the previous picture but actually quite small.

Maybe we can do better.

I think maybe i simply ran the drying step too fast.

Unlike sodium, aluminum does not liquefy at these temperatures so it would take much longer to react with the water.

So i setup another run using the same flask but this time ramped the temperature to 200 celsius over the course of 8 hours.

This time i didn't put in magnesium since we already know we can make sodium even with aluminum present.

So to save time i'm just going to focus on the aluminum drying.

And here it is after 8 hours and allowing it to cool down.

Looks good. Maybe it worked this time.

On a different note it doesn't seem like we're making sodium with just aluminum.

In theory it should be possible to make sodium from aluminum but it doesn't seem we have the right catalyst or temperature to make it happen. Oh well.

Now here is the flask after cleaning.

Okay looks like i blundered by using the same damaged flask as before as i can't tell the difference.

If there is damage it's very subtle.

But I suppose that's still an improvement over earlier.

So let me get a much better flask and try this all over again.

We mix aluminum powder, sodium hydroxide, oil and alcohol and ramp to 200 celsius over eight hours.

Flask looks pretty good.

And here it is after cleaning.

We're doing better but it's not perfect.

It's very hard to see on camera but there is degradation over here.

Nonetheless, while aluminum is not as good as sodium, it's still a very good drying agent compared to magnesium alone.

This level of damage is acceptable in my opinion as the flask is still fully functional.

But can we do even better than this?

Let me get another flask now.

First i'll fill with oil.

At this point i'm going to move on and try a new drying agent, lithium metal.

Lithium metal is actually not that hard to get.

It can be obtained from energizer lithium batteries.

While this is extremely expensive, and thus why i never considered it for making sodium earlier.

It only needs to be used once to dry the sodium hydroxide and jumpstart the reaction.

So making sodium from lithium is back on the table.

Now i already have a nine year old video on getting lithium from energizer batteries that i've linked in the video description.

So i won't go into it here.

I'm going to use two energizer batteries worth of lithium.

And there we go.

Now for our sodium hydroxide as well as our tertiary alcohol.

Let me hook up the bubbler.

Wait a minute, is that a dead fly in my bubbler?

Oh come on, why do bugs keep committing suicide into my apparatus?

Am i known in the insect world as the Dr. Kevorkian of depressed critters? Ugh.

Piece of s***

Anyway, now that i've cleaned the bubbler we can start.

I ramped up the internal temperature to just 125 C and held it there.

Unfortunately at this point my camera had a memory card error so i lost about 5 hours of video of watching the lithium dissolve and produce sodium.

Sorry about that. Here is the aftermath.

At least it worked though.

I can see a small amount of molten metal in there.

Lithium is solid at these temperatures so any liquid metal would have to be sodium or at the very least, a mixture of lithium and sodium.

So i let it cool and processed the resulting metal.

And there is our chunk of lithium and sodium metal alloy.

I didn't let it go far enough to completely convert into sodium as evidence by the continued hydrogen formation

but the fact that we're making sodium at this temperature means all the water had to be destroyed first.

And here is our cleaned flask.

And it looks great, no degradation.

Oh that white ring you're seeing that's not present in the original photo is actually there, but wet in the original photo so it didn't show up.

This new photo is not new damage.

It's also on the outside of the flask, so it can't have come from the reaction.

Bottom line, the reaction worked.

We have a way of starting the sodium production reaction by an alternate process that doesn't damage the glassware.

And it's very neighbor friendly, unlike the thermochemical dioxane process.

So we have solved the jumpstart problem.

Now i'm sure there are other better methods to jumpstart the reaction.

But this is simple, straightforward, and in the interests of time i'm going to move on.

We have almost fully conquered this project.

The next major problem i want to address is perhaps the most important of all: the alcohol catalyst.

While making these tertiary alcohols are well within the abilities of amateur chemist.

I want to find something even easier to get even if it's not as effective.

Now that we've optimized everything else, a less effective alcohol might actually be acceptable.

I'll address that in my next video.

Anyway, thanks for watching. We're getting ever closer to the end of our project.

Special thank you to all of my supporters on patreon for making these science videos possible

with their donations and their direction.

Ridiculous Facts About The Early '00s You've Been Believing - Duration: 6:40.

The early 2000s were a busy time to be alive.

The dotcom bubble exploded, 9/11 happened, the U.S. got sucked into two neverending foreign

wars, Friends finally ended, and two little sites known as Facebook and YouTube quietly

changed the internet forever.

But there's more to the so-called "noughts" than the birth of cat videos and bad Chandler

Bing impressions.

"I'm Chandler Bing, raconteur, and sassy man about town.

Now, would you be a love and fetch me my shawl?"

Buried beneath a sea of misinformation, faulty memories, and downright lies, some truly interesting

events unfolded, just probably not how you remember them.

The Y2K bug

If you were alive and prone to panicking in 1999, it looked a whole lot like the 21st

century was gonna start with a big, scary, apocalyptic bang.

"Is it possible that we're in for an international disaster because so many of the world's computers

will be utterly confused by what date it is?"

Y2K was the supposed computer bug that would lead to planes dropping out the sky and other

incredibly Not Fun things.

"Almost everyone is preparing for the worst.

Potential Y2K computer crashes top the list."

So the US poured tons of money and resources into combatting the bug before it reared its

ugly head… and then it didn't.

Come midnight, December 31, 1999, nothing happened.

Y2K was a big, fat flop.

Anyone who remembers it today recalls it as somewhere between a giant waste of money and

a huge, and dumb, public panic.

But underneath it all, it revolutionized the entire IT industry, and computer nerds were

suddenly taken a whole lot more seriously.

Attack of the Clones flopped

When word got out that George Lucas was finally releasing Star Wars prequels, the world rejoiced.

Then Anakin came and trampled all over the franchise with his mopey teenage angst and

his stupid midichlorians.

What did fans and critics think?

Well ...

"They haven't liked any of them, really.

And they especially haven't liked the last two, so — hey!

You know, I mean, it can't get any worse."

The ill-fated prequels would go down in history as the most squandered opportunity in modern

moviedom, especially Attack of the Clones, the second film in Lucas' trifecta.

So, obviously everyone hated it when it came out, right?

"I've got a bad feeling about this."

Relax, Anakin, this one's got a happy ending.

Attack of the Clones actually got pretty decent reviews.

Judith Egerton of the Courier-Journal in Louisville called it

"Superior to [...] The Phantom Menace, with its annoying Jar Jar Binks and its dull, galaxy-hopping

story line."

Forrest Harman of the Reno Gazette-Journal went even further, saying,

"Lucas returns the series to its roots, delivering a cartoon-like adventure that uses special

effects to enhance rather than replace storytelling."

That's right: the reaction to Attack of the Clones was originally positive, even if die

hard Star Wars fans may try and Jedi mind trick you into believing otherwise.

Apple invented the mp3 player

First introduced in October 2001, the iPod, clocking in at an enormous 5 gigabytes, promised

to put your entire music library at the tips of your fingers.

Viva la Apple!

"iPod.

A thousand songs in your pocket."

Now, people certainly ate up the iPod, and people are still buying first-generation iPods,

but most people forget that the iPod wasn't even the first MP3 player.

Apple rarely invents something, rather, they take something and make it better.

In this case, the MP3 player had existed since 1998.

What Apple did was tie their MP3 player to their music player, iTunes, and make it super

easy to use.

Apple also marketed their product better than every other MP3 player combined, we're looking

at you, Zune, working to wipe out all competition until all that was left to take them out of

commission was themselves.

And then they did just that… by taking an iPod and sticking it in a phone.

Neil deGrasse Tyson killed Pluto

"Space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space...Space,

space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space…"

In August 2006, space lovers woke up to some distressing news.

Pluto, the ninth planet of our solar system, was no longer a planet.

Worse still, the person responsible was lovable astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

OK, to be fair, Tyson really was one of the first people to advocate downgrading Pluto.

But science doesn't work by just following beloved TV personalities.

It works by analyzing evidence.

And it was Caltech astronomer Mike Brown who discovered the dwarf planet Eris, an object

with 25 percent more mass than Pluto, on January 5, 2005.

It was game over for Planet 9.

The discovery of Eris led the International Astronomers Union to vote on downgrading Pluto.

Brown has since written books about killing Pluto and tweets under the painfully accurate

handle @PlutoKiller.

Sorry, Tyson, can't give you credit for this one.

"Oh.

Oh my god.

Oh.

Oof.

Hold me BACK."

A Thriller of a road trip

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, America was at a standstill.

Literally and figuratively; the FAA grounded all air traffic.

So no matter where you were, you weren't flying anywhere for a couple of days.

Michael Jackson celebrated his 30th year in entertainment with momentous concerts in New

York on September 7 and September 10, 2001.

Needless to say, that left MJ stuck in New York during the attacks.

As the story goes, Michael Jackson, being Michael Jackson, did Michael Jackson-type

things.

Like what, you ask?

Oh, like road-tripping to Ohio with his friends Liz Taylor and Marlon Brando.

Because of course they did.

Brando supposedly wanted to stop at every KFC and Burger King they passed.

Because of course he did.

The only problem is that the road trip never happened.

Here's what really went down, and pay attention, because we're only going to say this once!

It was Jose Eber, hairstylist to the stars, who'd informed Liz Taylor about the attacks.

Tim Mendelson, a close friend of Taylor's, received a call from Carrie Fisher reporting

that her mom, Debbie Reynolds, was all alone in New York.

Liz called Debbie, and the two stayed together for about a week after the attacks.

As for the King of Pop, he headed to New Jersey via his tour bus following the attacks, and

he ended up staying at the home of his friend, Frank Cascio.

After Jackson secured his family and children in New Jersey, he turned his attention to

his fans stuck in New York.

Jackson actually paid for close to three dozen non-American fans to stay in New Jersey until

they could return home via airlines.

Now that's the story that should be out there.

Blizzard's Master Plan | Overwatch Nano Cola Challenge - Duration: 7:04.

As much as I am giving Blizzard a hard time about Overwatch very frequently, I feel like

I should also credit them, where credit is due.

And this, my friends, is one such time.

Most, if not all of you probably already heard of the new Nano Cola Event that allows you

to collect limited edition loot for D.Va by- I can't believe I'm saying this: Simply

playing the game.

But it goes even further than that.

And I honestly believe that this whole event was nothing short of a stroke of genius.

But to understand why, we need to dive a bit deeper.

And before you stop me here- Let me address the elephant in the room: Is there any point

to me making this video?

Honestly, no, I just wanna have some fun with this, so let's get digging.

My immediate reaction to this event going live was the following- "Now THIS is a really

cool micro event."

Of course, the WoW players among you know that micro events, just like Seasonal Events,

have been adopted from World of Warcraft.

And this one specifically does so many things right that, after bashing the Summer Games

Event so much, I felt it was necessary for me to address it.

So first off, we need an occasion.

A theme of some kind.

With the D.Va Short recently going live- We got exactly that.

Now, up until now, the only way that animated shorts were connected to the game itself really

started and stopped with the maps they played in.

And even then, they sometimes did it in a really wonky way, where you wonder how they

connected passage A to passage B.

But that's besides the point.

As much as animated shorts create a certain level of hype surrounding the franchise itself,

it doesn't necessarily translate into a significant attachment to the game.

Because quite frankly, the game and the shorts really don't have anything to do with each

other.

But now Blizzard is starting to connect everything.

So we get a new animated short that plays in a country yet to see a map in Overwatch.

Simultaneously, the map that this short is playing in gets added to the PTR.

Shortly after that, they launch an in-game micro event allowing players to collect cosmetics

relating to the recently published cinematic.

Furthermore, they partner with a bunch of streamers over on twitch to promote the event,

allowing players to collect even more cosmetics just by watching.

And of course- There is also merchandise.

First off: Great job on connecting the game with the animated short in an interactive

way.

Second off, congratulations on selling even more merchandise.

But what's really genius about that is the whole streaming strategy.

Because for months now, Overwatch was becoming a very difficult game to stream.

Not only did streamers move on to more successful titles, but those who stayed also obviously

struggled to keep up their schedules given that the game made them feel miserable more

often than not.

Keyword: Meta play, of course.

Obviously, if most of your streamers participate in competitive play, and nobody can say a

positive thing about competitive play, that negative mindset can quickly spread throughout

the community.

That means we're taking something that is already bad, and it becomes so, so much worse

in the public eye.

Because the players feel validated in their own negativity as they see that their favorite

streamers are also having a bad time.

Not to mention that some streamers, too, lose viewership when they play something they don't

enjoy.

And other players might move on to other games themselves, as they don't enjoy the stream

anymore.

So, long story short, Overwatch was losing traction on twitch, was it not for the Overwatch

League that gave players an incentive to watch by enabling drops.

And now they're doing the same thing for individual streamers to promote the event.

And I think that a lot of people don't understand the magnitude of that decision.

Because sure, where you might say that this is a nice little boost in viewership and revenue,

it can be so much more than that when done right.

Remember the whole micro event surrounding the Pink Mercy Skin?

The streamers that promoted it saw very substantial boosts in viewership, and massive sub gains.

Now, granted, I just bought the skin and was kinda done with it at the time, as the sprays

really didn't interest me.

So I don't even have anecdotal evidence to back me up on the success of that event

from a streaming perspective.

But what I do have are some numbers for the launch of the Nano Cola Event.

Seagull, being the first to promote the event, peaked at 107.000 concurrent viewers, maintaining

anywhere between 90- and 100.000 for a very long time, while gaining not only over 60.000

followers but also more than 7000 subscribers.

And for those of you who might not be too familiar with how twitch subs work- Those

are paid subscriptions, my friends.

He started off with around 8.700; Effectively almost doubling his sub count over night while

breaking his personal record for concurrent viewership.

So- Why does that matter to our discussion?

Or, moreso, why does that matter for the success of Overwatch?

Well, because with the game losing traction on twitch, giving players a reason to check

out media surrounding it can make all the difference.

Sure, a lot of people probably just AFK'd the stream down to get their drops, but with

over a hundred thousand viewers, there are bound to be some who actually check out the

stream.

So for anyone who might've previously thought the game dead on Twitch, they are suddenly

presented with a whole host of active streamers who are bound to play the game in the months

to come.

So that's not only a neat increase in revenue for a month, it could kickstart explosive

growth over the coming months.

It very much looks to be an effort to revitalize the game from a not-eSports related perspective.

Because sure, a lot of people who really liked the Overwatch League probably moved on to

the World Cup coverage, but those who didn't care to begin with might very well be in the

camp of players thinking the game dead.

A brand new Meta featuring more Support variety, a brand new Tank hero with unique mechanics

aswell as a new map, a cinematic and even a micro event that brings what Blizzard failed

to do up until now: Giving players ANY form of progression.

ANY way for us to work towards the loot that we want, rather than gambling away on loot

boxes.

And I dare say that most of us really don't find loot boxes exciting anymore.

We know that most of the stuff that's in there is garbage anyway.

And with no way of specifically working towards an item that we want, casual players might

lose interest in suffering through a horrible meta that simply isn't fun.

So there really was no better time than now to pursue this kind of a marketing push.

The cinematic on Youtube, the streaming event on Twitch, new content in the game and specialized

merchandise to celebrate the whole event.

And look- If you do good, good things will come to you.

Because even I am talking about this now.

And I'm probably not the only one.

How many players are gonna run up to their friends to tell them about this?

How many streamers are gonna give Season 12 a shot now?

How many viewers are coming back to check out the game on Twitch?

And how many more Youtubers are gonna praise Blizzard for doing something so cool after

utterly failing with the Summer Games Event?

Look, I might be reading into this too much, but that's honestly where the fun is at

for me.

And that's what I like doing a lot of the time.

Overanalyzing and discussing things that many other people might not find interesting enough.

And if you're still around at the end of this oh-so-pointless video- Hey, thanks for

sticking around.

If you are looking to kill some time, I would highly recommend to check out my video covering

why Ranked in Overwatch doesn't and probably never will feel fair.

There is a twist in pretty much every video.

Kind of like the Kinder Surprise Egg of Overwatch Content.

At any rate- Thanks again for watching guys, don't forget to drop me a like on your way

out if you enjoyed the video, subscribe if you wanna see more, and I hope to see you

all next time.

Avengers 4 RESHOOTS News - Duration: 3:27.

you

What is good youtube Warstu here with a

video on Avengers 4 so make sure to

subscribe to never miss any in Avengers

based videos so the Avengers 4 reshoot

are just about to start I've been told

by a very good source and that some of

the VFX team are currently already in

ATL and ready for the shoots to start

sometime in September in the next couple

of days I believe so the Russo brothers

address what's really going to happen in

the reshoots are they gonna change

everything is Loki gonna come back I

don't know but it could be interesting

so there's an interview here that I'm

gonna read out which essentially says

Anthony Russo addresses the

up-and-coming reshoots and says that

they will be working on the effects into

the winter in the hopes of finishing the

movie by March obviously the reshoot

aren't gonna be September to March

they're just saying that there's a bunch

of scenes to reshoot and fine-tune and

then they're gonna have to work on the

heavy CGI through Tomas so we've worked

on the Edit all summer and we're excited

to finally get those missing pieces in

the film and then we expect to be in the

post through the fall and winter Anthony

Ruffo said we hoped to get this done by

March it's so gratifying that in a movie

with the scope and stare and that wide

of an audience that we were able to get

to the end with a gut punch in yet the

audience stayed with us and found value

and kept coming back it's a rare thing

to find in a commercial filmmaking and

we know it had a lot to do with the

Capitol that has been built around these

characters for the last 10 years of

Marvel film what making the audience is

so invested in these characters that

they are willing to stick with them even

through the hard stuff it's been it's

been our great pleasure as storytellers

to take them through that hard stuff and

have to be and have to be even

entertaining experience at times so

essentially they aren't letting on to

what they're gonna reshoot they're

implying that there isn't much to

reshoot but if the special effects team

has to work throughout the whole winter

if it's gonna take months this tells me

there's some heavy CGI characters being

added maybe are they adding Galactus are

they adding water

maybe not are they adding kind of the

conqueror I don't believe these reshoots

are fine-tuning things I believe they're

going to retcon things and this channel

is based around conspiracy theories but

the article went on to say this it made

me laugh so while these are rumors of

some cool things happening in reshoot

these are just small missing pieces and

they need to finish the movie and not

the drastic altered changes that some

people are trying to convince you of I

don't believe they're not gonna change

much in reshoots because they shot a Ben

just three and four back to back so if

they did that they wouldn't really need

to reshoot anything now we know there's

multiple scenes that weren't shown

during Avengers 3 which will appear in

avenge 4 but overall the Russos aren't

letting on to anything but I will keep

you up-to-date with all the behind the

scenes pictures

information rumors when the reshoots

actually start drew in September it's

like always guys please like subscribe

and comment and I will catch you in

another video very soon catch ya later

Shareholders Take Exxon To Court For Their Roll In Climate Change - Duration: 4:21.

Exxon's facing a new wave of lawsuits, this time from shareholders who are losing money

because the company covered up the dangers of climate change for decades.

Now, I've got to tell you something.

Every now and then, you'll see a case on climate change that you say, "You know what?

That's probably going to work."

You and I talked about the children's case that was filed where you had children that

were filing cases where they're asking the court to tell the government on a writ of

mandamus, "You must comply with the law.

You must comply with the clean air bill."

That was something that will work.

I feel like that will work.

This is another one.

Shareholders said, "Look, Exxon, you lied to us.

You had us investing all this money.

While we were doing that, you didn't tell us where this could end up.

It's going to end up badly.

What's your take?

We have evidence, paper evidence, documents, from Exxon that show that ... I believe it

was 1948, was one of the first times they admitted amongst themselves internally that,

"Hey, there is a direct connection between what we do and this thing we're calling a

Greenhouse Effect."

Okay, fast forward to the 70s.

They 100% knew about it.

Their documents were all over on it.

This was before the public had any idea what global warming or Greenhouse Effect was.

Exxon has known for probably 80 years at least that climate change is real, that what they

were doing was making it worse.

So for 80 years, they've been lying and withholding this information from their shareholders.

And taking shareholder money.

Right.

And saying, "We're going to prove that this is not true.

There's not enough science."

While they were saying there wasn't enough science, their own in-house scientists were

saying, "Yeah, climate change is true.

Oh, by the way, greenhouse gases are caused by what we're selling, as far as fossil fuels."

The number I think was like 180 reports.

Maybe you remember exactly, but it's around 180 reports that came in from in-house, that

all concluded at least part of what we're talking about here.

The only they shared with the public with their shareholders were about 15.

Even those, they kind of phonied up to make it look like there's not a problem here.

So I think the shareholder case has real possibility, shareholder derivative case, in this situation

has a possibility at least in getting us as far as telling the whole story.

This won't simply go away.

Documents are going to continue coming in.

We're going to see the Tillerson ... You know, Rex Tillerson, this guy that everybody, "Oh

my God, he's such an important part of government.

If Trump gets rid of Tillerson, it's going to be total disaster."

Tillerson was behind all this.

Tillerson was the voice going all over the world saying all this stuff about greenhouse

gas and climate change is a bunch of bunk, it's all phonied up by activists, doesn't

mean anything.

Now we're going to see what Rex Tillerson knew when he was out there saying that.

Well, yeah absolutely.

We know what Rex Tillerson knew.

We know the documents he was sitting on.

We know what he was covering up.

We know which front groups he was funding and giving money to to say that climate change

isn't real.

There is no question whatsoever about what Exxon did here.

The shareholders know it now.

They finally have had their eyes opened.

It's just a little disappointing that the only time we can hold them accountable for

climate change-

Is cases like these.

Yeah, it's because rich people lost a little money.

Well, think about this.

Here, you don't have to show causation.

Right.

You don't have to show, "Well, the science is in dispute here, it's in agreement here."

You have to, as a jury, decide ... First of all, the shareholder derivative case is going

to be in front of a judge.

What's going to be decided is, "How much information did you hide from the American public?"

How did you draw shareholders into continuing to invest in your company, when in your own

file cabinet you had these letters, you had memos, you had reports from your own scientists

saying, "This is a big deal.

We have to do something about it"?

And other shareholders at other oil companies need to follow suit as well to see what the

company they're investing in has been hiding, too.

Yeah, Farron, thanks for joining me.

We'll pick up some more news on this story I'm sure time and time again.

What To Pack for an Atlantis Gay Cruise - Duration: 7:11.

getting ready for your next Atlantis

gay cruise but not sure what to bring

for this amazing adventure? Well get

ready to take some notes because I'm

gonna give you six pro-level items to

pack for your next gay cruise. Hi

everyone I'm Doug and this is FatBoyDoug

a channel with an appetite for life!

This channel is all about giving tips

and advice on how you too can live a

happy and fabulously gay lifestyle so if

you're new to us please consider

subscribing below. Guys I am so excited

to talk about this next topic. This will

be the first in a series of videos all

about the Atlantis gay cruises. if you

haven't been it's seriously the most

exciting experience you'll ever have in

your entire life. It's just the idea of

being around people just like me without

having to hide or pretend to be someone

or not and you can meet people all

around the world that is what Atlantis

cruises are all about. personally I've

been on 4 Atlantis cruises myself and

I've been able to meet so many people

all around the world and we continue to

meet up and plan for next cruises

because it's just so much fun. and what

makes Atlantis even more special to me

was that I was proposed to on the cruise

this last January. My fiance Darren

planned a group photo with everyone and

all I knew was that there was gonna be a

group photo so I showed up to it with

all my friends there and then all of a

sudden at the end of it he proposed and

of course with a fan and as you can see

in this video I was speechless and just

so surprised and it was one of the

happiest moments of my life what a great

way to start the cruise off okay enough

of that let's get back to the topic at

hand

what to pack for our cruise of course

there's the essential clothing items

that you're gonna need to pack and if

you stay to the end of this video I'm

gonna give you a link to download a

checklist of all those items but right

now I'm gonna give you some special

items to pack that it's gonna help you

have a really great time on the cruise

ok the first thing I'm going to talk

about our door decorations you may be

asking what the heck is that

well your doors are actually a really

great way for your neighbors to get to

know you so you decorate your doors by

putting up pictures of yourself or

anything else that's gonna make people

remember who you

and you don't have to be modest with

these pictures but definitely no nudes

okay there are people that work on the

cruise that don't need to see you naked

now the best way to put those photos on

the door themselves are the little

stickies they're little sticky squares

you put on the back of your photos and

then they stick right on to the door you

want to use something that's adhesive

that's not gonna damage the door so this

is a perfect thing to use and another

thing you may want to put on your door

or the wall next to it is a dry erase

wall sticker it's basically a whiteboard

but it's on a decal so you can roll it

up and pack it easily but pack some dry

erase markers with it as well and you

can put messages on the dry erase wall

or you can invite people to write

messages on your wall again it's a great

way for you to introduce yourselves and

for people to get to know you and other

suggestions are just to put some letters

on the wall to spell out your name or

some lights or anything that's flashy

because that's gonna be a great way for

you to remember where your room is some

cruise ships have eight nine ten decks

of cabins and the cabin hallways are so

long that they all look the same so a

way for you to remember where your room

is is just to make it as flashy and

bright as possible all right

I don't number two our cruise cards okay

now you're wondering what the heck our

cruise cards well cruise cards are small

business cards for you to print your

picture on and some info on it so that

you can pass them out when you're at

parties or when you're just out and

about on the ship though some of my

cards look like this or actually really

many mini cards which is great because

it doesn't take up that much room but

then you can have multiple designs or

different pictures on them and on the

back just as our name and one cabin

number or any contact info like Facebook

or Instagram that you may want other

people to know about once they get off

the cruise this is a really great idea

because there's no cell reception on the

cruise so you want people to be able to

get in contact with you after the cruise

so you just hand them one of these

whenever you've connected I use muqaam

to print my cruise cards but if you look

in the description below you're gonna

find a link with a discount for your

next purchase item number three

resistance bands you want to look good

during

Kruse but i know for a fact that

everyone else is gonna want to look good

also so that gym is packed every single

day at all times but it doesn't mean

that you can't do a workout somewhere

else and the best way is to just do it

in your room with resistance bands these

are such a great way to get a nice pump

for your arms or your shoulders or your

chest they're easy to pack and there's

multiple levels of resistance bands on

one string so your new some shoulder

exercises some bicep curls so just do a

few of these before you go out to the

pool or before you go out to the parties

and you're set

alright item number four is a handy

dandy first-aid kit so on this last

cruise we had an injury that required us

to go down to the Med Bay a couple times

so if you have minor injuries you may

not want to go down to the Med Bay and

just take care of yourself with a

first-aid kit also the hours of

operation for the Med Bay are really

short so even if you have time to go

down there

it may not be open plus if you are down

there you're gonna be around people that

are sick when I was down there there

were so many people with symptoms of

norovirus and you definitely don't want

that while you're on the cruise so stay

away from the Med Bay use your own

first-aid kit

item number five is a fanny pack with

water bottle holder if you've watched

any of my other videos on raves

this is what I preach so the fanny pack

itself can hold all your stuff like your

gum your mints your cruise cards and

then the water bottle holder is great so

that when you're out dancing in the

parties you don't have to hold on to

your water ball the entire time I got

this for cheap on Amazon and I'm gonna

have a link with all these items in the

description below I actually have a page

on my website that lists all of these

items out so it's easy for you to see

and you can just click on each one and

I'll send you straight to Amazon alright

the last item on your list is number six

a small bag to hold all of your stuff

for the first day of your cruise if

you're going on a seven-day cruise

you're gonna have a lot of items packed

in your luggage but your check luggage

is actually not gonna get to your room

until much later at night so you're

gonna want a small duffel bag that holds

all of your stuff like your swim shorts

your tank tops or anything that you want

to change into for the first day of your

cruise so this is the bag that Atlantis

gives you on the cruise but it's perfect

for those first day items

so you can put your toiletries your

sandals your swimwear your shorts your

tank tops anything you're gonna need for

your first day okay I hope this list is

gonna help you pack for your next

atlantis cruise so as i mention it at

the beginning of this video i'm gonna

give you a bonus packing checklist that

includes all the items that you saw in

this video but also all other items that

you're going to need to make sure you're

gonna have a great time at the cruise so

when are you gonna go on your nyx

atlantis cruise and for those that have

been on atlantis cruises what essential

items do you guys bring every time you

go on a cruise I'd love to know in the

comments below I'm gonna do a couple

more videos on our line of skate cruises

so make sure you subscribe right here

and click the Bell notification so you

know when the next one gets uploaded and

make sure to check out my other videos

right here okay alright thanks for

watching
