Galaxy A8 Plus mantém boa autonomia de bateria e desempenho com Android 8.0 Oreo - Duration: 5:55.The Galaxy A8 Plus was updated this month to Android Oreo in Brazil,
it's time to redo our tests to see how the device's performance is
and also analyze its battery life.
The tests you will see here are exactly the same as before,
done under the same conditions, so we will know if Oreo is well optimized for the Galaxy A8 Plus.
We started with the speed test, where we opened up a dozen apps to see how long the Galaxy A8 Plus
takes to open them, and also if it is able to hold everything opened with its 4 GB of RAM.
What we see is that the Oreo update left the Galaxy A8 Plus a little slower,
it took 5 more seconds on the first lap compared to the previous Nougat test,
on the second lap, however, we had the same time as before.
In practice, this should not make a big difference as apps remain opened in the background.
If in our speed test we had a slight loss with the Oreo,
in the benchmarks we had a gain; at least on AnTuTu and GeekBench.
Curiously, the graphic part showed a small drop, especially in 3D Mark.
The A8 Plus's GPU is not one of the strongest, and even unfortunate against its competitors,
but gaming performance at least has not undergone any critical change with Oreo.
Games that are locked on Android to run at 30 fps will be in this range on the A8 Plus,
as seen in Asphalt 8 and Injustice 2.
But the titles that reach 60 fps, do not always achieve this performance in the Samsung smartphone.
The only game that presented inferior result in the Oreo was the Modern Combat 5,
which delivers quite unstable performance.
Anyway, playing games on the Galaxy A8 Plus is not a problem,
maybe only for those who are addicted to PUBG Mobile,
which delivered a rather laggy gameplay in the medium settings.
Even when switching to the lowest setting, it's still difficult to hold 30 fps on the Galaxy A8 Plus.
If the upgrade to Android Oreo did not have a strong impact on the performance on the Galaxy A8 Plus,
it didn't affect the recharging times either.
We put the uncharged device in the socket, and after half an hour,
we had 38% of juice, reaching 76% with an hour plugged in.
The Galaxy A8 Plus took 1 hour and 43 minutes to have its battery fully recharged,
being practically the same time as before in our test with the Nougat.
With the battery fully recharged,
we put a video in Full HD to play on the Super AMOLED screen of the A8.
Here it was possible to watch videos for 16 hours and 37 minutes,
surpassing even the previous test with the Nougat.
We also put the Galaxy A8 Plus to record videos until the battery was completely drained
and it was able to record videos in Full HD for 6 hours and 1 minute,
which is a very good result, but that was below what we had in our previous test with Nougat.
And for those who enjoy making video calls, we also did a Skype test,
using the front camera of the A8 Plus for video calling.
Here we had a small gain compared to the previous test with the Nougat,
reaching 5 hours and 7 minutes. It's a small difference, but any gain is always welcomed.
In more real use with various apps and games, we unplugged the A8 Plus at 7 o'clock in the morning,
and it was only discharged early next morning, with more than 8 hours of screen time.
Its autonomy was already good with the Android Nougat, and it remains the same with the Android Oreo.
The Galaxy A8 Plus may not have the best gaming performance in its price range,
but its battery yields well for those who play a lot, with an average, all games tested,
we've reached almost 7 hours away from the socket.
And even heavier titles, which do not run well on the device,
it delivered 6 hours of autonomy, as in this case, with PUBG Mobile.
The Galaxy A8 Plus showed a slight loss in performance with the upgrade to Android Oreo,
in practice, many should not even notice the difference,
but those who play games may notice that some titles run a little slower than before.
Battery life was not affected. The device
takes the same time as before to recharge and its battery lasts the same.
In some tests we had a small gain, while others have a slight reduction,
which ends up leveling the results.
For anyone that in doubt whether or not updated to the new version of Android, you can do it without fear,
that your Galaxy A8 Plus will not be negatively affected because of this.
And if you do not already have the Samsung mid-range, you can find good deals on the device in the description of the video.

Seat Altea- Recenzja [PL/ENG] 🚘🔥 - Duration: 7:03.Welcome to the next film on our channel.
Today we will deal with the car being a minivan from the
K segment. Namely, Altea's Seat.
Before we start, I encourage you to
Leave the subscription if you do not already.
So let's go to the episode.
This copy comes from 2005.
This is its basic version,
Which entered the market in 2004.
In Spanish Martorel it was produced until 2015.
In addition to this version, the sale is also an enlarged
Version of XL produced in the same years, and a
Free-version version of Freetrack
Produced from 2007 to 2015.
This car is called the first ever sports
And family minivan Seat.
In 2009, the car underwent a facelift, which resulted in
The change of bumpers, radiator grille and headlights.
The rear window has been enlarged, the appearance of
The center console and
The steering wheel have been changed
It is worth mentioning that in this case, the producers
Were based on this floor plate, which occurs during the
Seat Leon, Audi A3, or Golf 5. For his competition we can
Include: Citroen C4, Opel Zafira,
Toyota Verso or Fiat Multipla.
Prices for this model, depending on the mileage, year or
Technical condition, range from 9 to even 23 thousand PLN.
The car is powered by a 105 hp Diesel 1.9 TDI.
This engine version is one of the better offered by the manufacturer.
You can also think about one and the second version 2.0.
As for gasoline engines, the 1.4 TFSI
And 2.0 versions are the most recommended.
Burning is about 6 liters per 100 kilometers.
In the luggage compartment we can hold a minimum of
409 liters of cargo,
While after folding the seats we get 1320 liters.
Against the background of the competition Seat performs very well.
The interior of the vehicle looks decent.
The entire cockpit is covered with dark, hard plastic.
Let's get to the car's equipment now.
And it is really impressive.
Maybe let's start with driving systems.
There are ABS, ASR and ESP here.
Elements such as mirrors and all windows
Can be electrically controlled.
Of course, there is also automatic air conditioning and an on-board computer.
Rain sensors are also a nice solution.
The equipment also includes a factory radio, isofix, and AUX socket.
Altea can boast of a lot of space for the driver and passengers.
The maximum front seat will move forward to this position.
A maximum back to this position.
The space in the storage compartment is not too big, but sufficient.
Let's tell us about the ride itself.
During her seat Seat did very well.
The high position behind the wheel makes the car run
Very comfortably and pleasantly.
The advantages in this car are the large space in the
interior, the chassis, thanks to which the vehicle has a
great hold on the road and overcomes corners and quite a good engine.
However, the disadvantages include the value for money
And the average level of silence.
This car was rated at 8 points on a scale of 10.
In this episode it would be enough.
Be sure to check out our previous episodes and
Do not forget to subscribe to the channel.
And if you want your car to appear in the next films,
It's necessary to contact us.
In the meantime, I will say goodbye to you
And see you soon. Hi

New to Self Publishing? Writing Tips for New Writers - Duration: 5:46.A lot has changed since I started writing.
If you're a new writer, you can't really look at bestselling indie authors right now
and be assured that what worked for them will work for you now.
In this video, I'm going to talk about how to start a writing career today, what I'd
do differently, and what I would avoid.
What's up, guys?
My name is Michael La Ronn with Author Level Up, helping you write better and faster.
If you're new here, consider subscribing, and click the little bell to get helpful writing
videos every week.
I remember when I was just starting out on my writing journey.
I was determined, but scared.
There was so much to learn.
This was during the end of the Kindle Gold Rush, so it was still the wild west as far
as self-publishing goes.
I started with nothing.
My first month of publishing, I made $5.79, and that doesn't really count because I
sold two books, and my mom bought one copy, and my friend bought the other.
I went for months with zero sales.
And I'm still not a bestseller yet, so maybe my advice will be more helpful for you guys
since I'm closer to some of you newbies.
When it comes to the topic of starting out, so many people are looking for answers to
the KDP Select question.
I answer that elsewhere, but honestly, I think it's irrelevant.
Whether you do KDP Select or not, if you don't get the basics of writing craft and marketing
down, it won't really matter if you're exclusive or wide.
If I were starting out today, the first thing I would do is make a list of all the things
you need to learn: book formatting, story craft, marketing, Photoshop, websites, etc.
I'd break all of those into sub-categories, and I would go learn them, one-by-one.
I'd invest money where it made sense, including courses.
The sooner you can get yourself acquainted with the best practices, the better off you'll
be.
Most people don't take their learning seriously.
They just wander about, not really learning how to format a book or write an opening to
a chapter or create an engaging website.
My problem was that I tried to learn everything at once, which backfired on me.
If I had to do it again, I would be more systematic about it.
For tips on what to learn, check the video description for a video I did a while back
on creating a learning plan for yourself.
Another thing I'd do differently is that I would have jumped into video sooner.
Video is still the number one way to stand out in today's environment, and if I had
done it sooner and had been more serious about growing my channel when I started, it would
have accelerated my growth.
Video is an easy way for people to get to know you, or feel like they know you.
99% of people are so terrified of it that you'll be in the elite 1% if you do it.
Video has a learning curve, to be sure, but I've always considered that curve to be
a barrier to entry for people who aren't serious about it.
Video will teach you about copywriting, marketing and promotion, audience engagement, and production
quality ten times faster than blogging or podcasting.
Video is all about keeping people's attention.
If you can do it with video, you can do it with anything.
When I started off, I had a crappy blog.
I didn't even know what copywriting was.
I wrote about trite things that no one cared about.
I tried a solo podcast back in 2014, and it bombed.
If I had just spent some money on a DSLR and learned how to shoot high-quality video and
showcase my personality that way, it would have worked better for me.
When you do video like me, it makes you appear like an instant expert, even if you're not.
It's still unusual right now for writers to do video.
I would take advantage of that.
A video once or twice a month telling your readers what you're working on, what you're
reading, and some fun items to keep people engaged, like trivia or bad jokes or something.
Let people get to know you, and link to those videos in the back of your books and in your
email newsletters.
Another thing I would have done differently is that I would have studied the works of
mega-bestsellers religiously.
John Grisham, Stephen King, Nora Roberts,—those writers.
I'm learning advanced craft techniques from them right now that are making me look at
my early work and cringe.
But I'm learning craft faster than I ever did when I was reading blogs and listening
to podcasts.
And the final thing I would have done differently is that I would have tried to think longer
term about the craft skills I would need.
For example, I could have learned to write character injuries more convincingly into
my stories by learning the basics of injuries, and what happens when someone gets shot, for
instance.
I could have learned more about science and space physics.
I could have learned more about my country's legal system so I could write it accurately.
As I look at my career now, the areas where I'm weakest are the areas where I could
have done more research into basic facts of life.
But I didn't know what I know.
If I could go back, I would learn about: injuries, guns, how to research historical times correctly,
police procedure, legal systems, and military operations.
It's amazing how those things come up in your novels all the time.
Better to learn how to do it right.
In case you're curious, there are some things I'd do the same if I had to start all over
again.
I invested a lot of time in mastering Scrivener and Ulysses.
That paid off for me.
Learning how to format my books on an advanced level paid off for me.
Writing poetry and short stories helped me.
Writing across genre helped me.
I'd do those all over again.
Anyway, that's the advice I'd give you if I were just starting my writing career
today.
If you're a new writer, enjoy it.
Despite all the mistakes I made, I still look back on my early years fondly.
If you're new to writing, I put together a playlist of videos that will help you get
your bearings and get started with confidence.
I've got videos on writing craft, the best podcasts and blogs, and of course, writing
books to help you start your career off on a solid foundation.
You can check it out right here.
That's it for this video.
If this is your first time watching, I'd love to have you subscribe.
Every week I publish videos just like this one with writing advice to help you write
better and grow your influence with readers.
I'll see you in the next video.
Thanks for watching.
