I'm fishing really close to the rocks

the seabass today is difficult to catch
it's not hungry

Depth goes down to 4 metres out of the hot-spot, so It will be difficult to catch a Seabass
The lure is also really important.
Here I use two identical ones, but as you can see they are different. One is 65mm and the other one is 85 mm
Why will I fish with these two? Because with the smaller one I will fish closer to the bank
closer to the rocks
and with the bigger one I will fish deeper.
85 mm works from the top to two metres and a half deep
This helps me to search the Seabass in a different area
I usually fish
seabass with three different sensitive rod tips
Here you can see my selection
the first one is the 2.10 metres - 5÷20 g R18 two-piece rod.
The second one is called Lion, and the third is an R18 carbon prototype rod.
It's one-piece and not a two-pieces rod
Why do I use three different rods? Because each one is prepared for a particular technique
for different minnows
For example, today I will use one-piece R18 rod for the biggest lure and
for those areas where you can find
a little bit of current
and for this reason I choose a stronger rod.
While with the Lion
I can fish
both with the 65 mm and with the 85 mm
Always this size
small and hide through the rocks.
Sometimes here you can find this size, sometimes you can fin bigger ones, more than 1 kg.

Seabass is difficult to catch
In Italy the best period for fishing seabass is November.
From September to January
and it's the best one, when big specimens lay eggs
but it's forbidden: unluckily for anglers and luckily for the enviroment
I didn't fish this December, this January and this February.
I have begun fishing in the hot period and unfortunately I didn't catch any big one.
Sea Bass Killer, as many other minnow, has his own way to be used.
Every minnow in the world must be used in a different way from the others
because otherwise all lures will be the same with each other. This is a floating one
It floats, top water.
It doesn't sink, it's not suspending
and it's really important
using it
at the limit of its depth, which goes from one and a half metre, to two metres
This is the most important thing.
Because if it's used in different depths
We don't catch anything
Right, Seabass can be also half depth, but here in Arno I usually catch them with 65 mm Sea Bass Killer

One important thing is that

a wacky rig with our Seika worm
