Catalunya - Behind the Scenes - Duration: 7:17.

Hi guys my name is Oliver Astrologo and today I'm gonna talk about the

production process behind the Catalunya video, also I will give you some tips and

some insights about my creative approach

I was truly impressed by the big variety of flavours, colors and destinations that

Catalunya can offer many of you are aware about Barcelona a city with

thousand and thousand of things to do and also enriched with the amazing masterpieces

of the architect Antoni Gaudí Catalunya is not only Barcelona as this

land will cover any needs that you can have, regardless if you a fanatic of the

mountain hiking or you prefer to relax at the sea

so you can now imagine how challenging is

to put everything in a just a three-minutes video, when the Catalan

Tourism board contacted us for creating this video I was pretty excited

despite we have planned the whole trip and we careful decided every location

we managed to keep enough of free time for experimenting it happened very often

when when we were driving or travelling around the region to stop and discover

something that we found interesting

the whole shooting took approximately

two weeks my team was composed by four people myself two camera operators that

helped me to capture different points of view of the same scenes and an assistant

it was crucial to get the support of a location manager that brought us in

the right places and also helped us to find the people that would have enhanced

the storytelling and gave an extra color to the video for this project we have

collected over 6000 4k different clips at the end for creating the final video we

used approximately 350 different Clips ok guys now let's talk about my

equipment and my mostly used camera was the sony 6500 i loved this camera

because it's really small a really affordable works like a charm with

the Zhiyun Crane combined with a Manfrotto monopod

my second camera was

the sony a7r2 i love this camera because can provide excellent

video quality and also can be used for getting some nice stills

between one shot and other if you need to get some nice point of view shots for

example the point of view the climber of the mountain

I suggest use the GoPro Hero 5 this camera also can be used for getting

some nice underwater shots most of the beautiful aerial images that

you can watch in Catalonia video where captured using the support of a local

company called Aeroshots they provided us an Hexacopter equipped with a

Panasonic GH4 camera

my mostly used lens consists in

the wide angle is a Sony 10-18 millimeters that works like a charm

combined with the Sony a6500 I like the cinematic look that the sony 28

millimeters is capable to provide this lens combined it with the sony a6500

become a 35 millimeters that is my favorite focal because it's the

closest to the focal composition of the human eye for capturing a more close-up

shots used sorry 55mm 1.8 and also a telephoto lens forgetting the far

subjects if you want to know more about my gear and some technical aspect of my

work you can have a look to the medium story I published you can

find a link down in the caption on this video have you heard the sound? If you

listen this video using your headphones you can feel different layers of sounds

all these sound effects that you can listen in Catalonia video where achieved

just using my smartphone or an h4 sound recorder i think that the music is

a crucial element to give the emotional feeling into the video i worked with

Max he is a very talented composer from Canada he already collaborated

with me in the creation of my previous videos Rome Malta and Vietnam let's have

a look or what Max has to say about this video hey I'm Max ll I wrote the

music for Oliver Astrologo's catalonia video and for the music in the

film we really wanted to meet the music to have this cinematic feel while still

maintaining colors and influences of music of catalonia and the way we did

that was to integrate two elements in the music the first is the catalan rumba

which is the rhythm you hear the guitars playing in the background track

and secondly we use an instrument called the Gralla which is a typical instrument

that you hear towards the end of the track

be creative when you are

adding your sounds to your videos these shots for example where you can listen the

train I combined the sound using a rattlesnake toy to give the feeling

of movement of the camera you can also alter the pitch the length of every

sample in premiere or you can even reverse them to get a transformed

sound in something that is completely different from the original one

I received a lot of question about the transition guys transition are not as

important storytelling is the important aspect of your video before applying any

transition or special effects watch your video without any effects to see how the

flows works either way I don't use any plug-in for creating my transitions all

the effects the movements are organic just obtained with the camera

so guys if you want to start making travel videos my suggestion are

think about a story and find a character that could be the main subject of your story

try to combine different environments with the story the Gralla maker that you

can see here was combined it with the house on the lake to create the feeling that

he was living inside try to get in contact with the local people get close

to them start talking with them a absorb their stories explain what you are

doing to them they will open to you and probably they will invite you to

discover something that is unexpected that could be a very nice aspect for

your video one of the most difficult bit is to make sure that the every

location is not filled with people especially tourists or things that are

not related to destination one of the most challenging items in catalunya

video was the shooting the human Tower so I managed it with my collaborators to

shoot the same scene from different angles at the same time one shooting

from the top another one getting the details of the faces for the people and

I was free with my gimbal to move around the tower and get some nice shot on

different point of view thank you for watching guys I hope you enjoyed this

behind the scene videos please feel free to leave any comments or questions in the

box below I need to say thanks to all the people collaborators that were

involved in the creation of this video and of course and the Catalan tourism board

agency for this amazing challenge please keep watching don't forget to

subscribe because there are new tutorials new behind the scenes videos on

the way thanks again

Fuji Guys - FUJIFILM X-A5 - Unboxing and Getting Started - Duration: 6:16.

Hey everyone. Welcome back to the Fuji Guys Channel. I'm Gord of the Fuji Guys.

The X-A5 is Fujifilm's latest entry-level mirrorless digital camera. In this video

I'm going to help you with some tips and tricks on taking it out of the box,

putting it all together and start taking photos. If you want to find out more

about the X-A5, stick around.

Depending on your country, the X-A5 is available a

couple of different ways; including body only or with the 15 to 45 power zoom lens.

For this video, I'll be working with the zoom lens kit version. If you open up

the top of the box, you'll find, up on the very top things like your warranty

information as well as a quick reference guide. Always a good idea to keep that

handy for you can reference it a bit later on. If you take the top cardboard

off you'll find the camera as well as the zoom lens. It's easy enough to pick

up through the center portion of it. And then from there they're actually holes

in the bottom of the inserts to be able to push the camera up ever so slightly

to take it out of the box. Same thing for the lens. The bottom of the box we'll find

a few other pieces including: the camera strap for the camera as well as a

microUSB cable, the NP-W126s battery and a USB to AC adapter. Now, that includes

the AC mains plug portion depending on your country. So, let's start with opening

that up as well, as the USB adapter. It's just a matter of inserting the mains cable

plug into the USB adapter. Then, take the battery out of the packaging as well as

the USB cable.

Then the lens and the camera. The camera strap's fairly easy. It just loops

through the two lugs on the sides of the camera, so I won't be bothering putting

that on. Taking a look at the actual portions within here. The battery as well

as an optional SD, SD-HC or SD-XC card goes in the bottom of the camera.

Opening that up first let's put the battery in. There's an orange marking

on the battery and you line up the orange marking on the battery with the

orange tab in the camera. If you inadvertently put it in the incorrect

way you'll find that the battery door cover doesn't close properly. So let's

put that in. The SD card goes in one way only and the way I remember that is

looking at the gold contacts of the card, lining that up with the gold sticker on

the battery door, and it slides in there locks in place. It's just a matter of

pushing it in again to be able to take the card back out. The battery will have

a little bit of charge in it but it's always a good idea to charge the battery

up before your first use. To do that, open up the door on the side of the camera

and inside here you'll find a micro HDMI as well as the micro USB port and it's

just a matter of plugging in the micro USB cable to the port and then plugging

that into the AC mains adapter. And plugging it in and charging it up.

Alternately you could plug this into a computer although it will take a little

bit longer to charge up. Putting a lens on the camera is fairly easy to do. It's just

a matter of taking the body cap off. Whenever I take the body cap off and

have the sensor exposed I always like to have the camera pointed down ever so

slightly. This will prevent any dust from inadvertently falling in on the sensor

and messing up my pictures. Take the lens rear lens cap cover off. To put the

lens on the camera you'll line up the orange marking of the lens with the

orange dot on the lens barrel and turn it clockwise about a third of a turn.

Well, you're just about ready to take a picture in just a second.

Power on the camera, the lens will extend and it'll actually go

through the process of starting up When you first power on the X-A5, it'll

actually want to pair it up using the Bluetooth with your smartphone. So, it's a

good idea to have it handy. When you first power it on you'll actually have

the ability to register the pairing. And, from there you'll actually find a QR

code on the camera that you can scan with your smartphone to take you to a

webpage to be able to download the app. I already have the app installed on my

phone now so I just matter of going into "Pairing Registration", looking for the

camera name, clicking on it and it will

automatically connect up. If you want to you can actually now transfer the date

and time from your smartphone to the camera. That makes the setup process a

lot easier. Alternately, you can hit "Back" and go past

all of these to be able to set the date manually. Once that's all done, now

I'm ready to go and if I can choose my program selector on the top.

SR+ is a good place to start. I can compose my picture by using the

zoom lens. The power zoom lens zooms using the toggle or I can fine-tune my

positioning and take my first picture. To play the picture back now I can zoom in

if I want to toggle around and be able to share that very quickly and easily

with my friends and family on Facebook etc., using the smart phone app which

we'll talk about in another video. There you go, that's how you can get the X-A5

out of the box and start taking pictures fairly quickly and easily. I hope you

enjoyed it. If you should have any questions about this video feel free to leave them

in the comments and question section down below. If you subscribe to our YouTube

channel you'll see all the different videos that we have available including

those from the X-A5, like our first look as well as top features videos. Look for

us on Twitter @fujiguys as well as on Facebook and Instagram. Until next time,

I'm Gord of the Fuji Guys. Thanks for watching.

5 Minute Makeup Challenge: Drugstore Products - Duration: 8:29.

everybody welcome back to my channel so today's tutorial is kind of a challenge

I'm going to be doing the 5 minute makeup challenge but with drugstore

products so if you'd like to see how this goes then please keep on watching

make sure you subscribe to my channel hit that notification bell I upload a

video every single day of the week I really don't want you to miss any so

let's go to get started okay so the only thing that has been done is my face has

been washed and moisturized I don't use a primer that often I've wetted my

sponge and yeah I've got my products that I'm going to use so yeah so I have

my you know timer here so all I'm gonna do is I'm gonna just go in and hit start

and we're gonna see how far and what I can do in 5 minutes

I suppose so let's go ahead and just get this okay first thing I'm gonna do is

I'm going to start with the brows I'm just gonna do filling basic brows them

up a little bit nothing too crazy I've seen these five

minute makeup tutorials when people are trying to do like polka creases and

stuff and no there's no way okay so let's just

so it was gonna be a good tutorial you know see I don't look spit okay next one

I'll put up on this foundation

yet

five minutes is long but really in that five minutes a work seems like it

stretches on and on and on but okay I think my foundations gonna be a hot mess

but we shall see okay and then they Laura Elizabeth CCE good

their eye primer as well

okay time to sets Rimmel stay matte first

positions formula but a bronzer for a little bit of contouring and bronzing

the bronze touring

a little bit of color meets sunkissed blush brush

using that same blush as an eyeshadow a little bit of color

my lashes

yeah

like the longest part Guerra okay and we're gonna go with some oh yes ball in

smoochie spice yeah

okay

that's a quick crap oh my gosh one minute left I can i hurry to finish my

brows some brow mascara lump these up a little bit

well are not looking very snatched but you know okay

my goodness gracious this is really no time at all

okay so eyebrows are looking a little janky mascara is all smeared all yeah

I'll smear it all over but honestly I mean I think when people do the 5 minute

makeup challenge they're trying to do too much I was just going for some base

coverage a little bit color on my eyes just make a little bit more human but

you know what this totally shows that you woke up so so late and you needed to

run out the door you really could you really could get a somewhat natural look

in only a few minutes a little bit of foundation concealer make the eyes same

color blush or bronzer on the eye you're good to go but yeah yeah doesn't look

good but you know it does not look as bad as I thought it was going to be but

like I said I wanted to do a really really quick you know little challenge

but also what's great about using the drugstore products it is a drugstore

products in most cases are less pigmented so they're going to be easier

to blend out and it's gonna be a lot more hard to mess it up super bad I mean

the only thing I'll need to do is get a q-tip take off that mascara clean up the

brows a little bit but honestly not bad it's not bad but anyway you guys I hope

you enjoyed this a little bit of a different type of tutorial just so you

can do it you can get a really somewhat decent look really really quick and yeah

I thought this was fun and yeah not as fun as I thought it was gonna be but

anyway you guys I hope you enjoyed my 5 minute makeup challenge with drugstore

pop products if you did go ahead and give it a thumbs

also make sure that you share this video I know that the 5 minute makeup

challenge is dated and over but I kind of wanted to do something a little bit

more natural and with drugstore products of course but anyway you guys once again

thank you so much for watching make sure you also follow me on my other social

media my Twitter Facebook and Instagram za lipped budget glam babe and I will

see you guys tomorrow for another video see you guys later bye

Intermittent Fasting | Frequently Asked Questions: Volume 2 - Duration: 4:39.

Intermittent fasting frequently asked questions vol 2 number 1 can I drink

alcohol when doing intermittent fasting the short answer to this question is yes

you can drink alcohol when doing intermittent fasting however there are a

few things to remain cognizant of when doing so firstly you must track the

calories you're consuming that come from alcohol and incorporate this figure into

your daily count oftentimes people forego a meal to allow themselves to

colors they need to enjoy a few drinks in order to avoid compromising their

diet furthermore it is important to understand that drinking alcohol doesn't

pair fat-burning until the alcohol has been metabolized therefore if you're

trying to lose weight drinking alcohol will not do you any favors number 2 is

intermittent fasting used solely for weight loss or can I build muscle while

using this diet while many people associate fasting with weight loss

intermittent fasting can be used to build muscle as well you see to build

muscle you must place yourself in a chloric surplus so that your body has

the nutrients it needs to repair the broken down muscle during exercise

allowing it to rebuild in a bigger and stronger form being in a clerk surplus

is entirely possible while doing a tremendous Ostin and solely requires

consuming more calories than maintenance during your feasting state in fact by

making your body more insulin sensitive by depriving it of food during your

fasting periods when calories are consumed your body will be more inclined

to partition the nutrients towards muscle repair rather than being stored

as fat creating a highly anabolic effect number 3 what is the best time to

exercise if I am practicing the 16/8 method of intermittent fasting when to

exercise when it comes to any form of intermittent fasting is unique to every

individual for instance some people may choose to exercise during their fasted

period to stay busy and keep their mind off their hunger other individuals may

feel too lethargic while fasting to exercise properly prompting them to

spend part of the reading window the gym one popular strategy is to tie

the end of your workout session with the beginning of your eating window by doing

this you can ensure you'll be busy in the hardest couple hours of your fast

while allowing yourself to consume the nutrients your body needs after a hard

workout again this is just one option but exercising in both the fasting and

feasting periods is acceptable and widely used number four while doing

intermittent fasting slow down my metabolism you may have heard or read

that eating smaller meals throughout the day increases your metabolism which is

caused by the thermic effect of feeding this ideology may prompt you to believe

that eating less would be detrimental to your metabolism however this is not

accurate the thermal effective feeding is correlated to your total caloric

intake and not how often you eat therefore eating six meals a day or just

two will result in the same metabolic impact on your body

therefore practicing and tremenda fasting will not decrease your

metabolism number five other disadvantages to fasting as nothing is

perfect intermittent fasting and fasting in general can cause side effects when

first adopting this diet it is common to experience headaches and nausea

however these symptoms usually go away once your body has adapted to the new

eating pattern it is being subjected to moreover you are likely to experience

increased bathroom use given that one of the main strategies for suppressing

appetite when fasting is to consume calorie free drinks like water and black

coffee finally it is common for individuals to

feel a cold when fasting when you're fasting there is an increased blood flow

to your body fat meaning that less blood is available to warm up your extremities

like your hands and feet causing your body to feel colder than normal for some

people this cold sensation can be an annoyance but has not been proven to be

harmful to your body thanks for watching if you liked this video please hit the

GIG OR JIG ? HARP ADVICES FOR NEWBIES ARTISTS |ENG SUB | 2018 - Duration: 11:26.

Hi everyone, I hope you are well! I'm coming back today for a new video

so, some time ago, I discovered a channel and a youtubeur called Adam Neely, who talks a lot of music in general

during a video - question / answer - a person asked him the question, what was his point of view a -GIG or event-

It is true that as a person who speaks in French, we do not know this term, it is the equivalent of - concerts / events - however we must distinguish two contexts

in the first case, a concert as a Job, you are hired to make a performance, for a wedding, a theater, a festival ...

it is therefore in a professional context, it is necessary to check all the requests and the needs, that it is at the level of your contract, punctuality, your salary,

the term of your contract, what is included or not, accommodation, catering, transport, sound system, if you can repeat before in the place, schedules ...

it is in this kind of case, if you are serious and pro that you will be able to have a certain number of benefits, an example, a member of the public who appreciates your performance

this person will think of you as being serious, she will tell herself- I would like to have this artist for my next event -

and also the fact that everything is going well and that you are punctual, well dressed, and that your music pleases will give a good image to your work

this will open up opportunities and commitments. There are two styles of events, the paid and pro event

and the event that produces your music, and that must be seen as an investment.

the second event that can be interesting is to have the opportunity to do "performance"

you have to tell yourself that it's in another setting, you're not engaged professionally, you are going to ask for some places, cafes / restaurants,

even some festivals that start and have few budgets, and in return the officials of these places will ask you a counterpart

sometimes there are places to pay, especially in Paris! the musicians who will pass by will understand what I am talking about!

to be able to present a new album or a new show, I had to pay theater, but I also had to make sure to bring back the audience

it's a trickier situation to manage, because you have to really commit and think in terms of investment, or will go to a place where you will not earn money

on the other hand the goal is provided to present a show, the "lapping", we will have contacts, but we must make the difference between

but we must understand that in the first case it is a commitment with a contract for a defined work and it does not give rise to a particular emotion

for example there are harpers who specialize in weddings, people who hire them for their wedding asks them to be dressed in a certain way

to be punctual, to animate with music a cocktail, or during a religious ceremony, or in a town hall

It must be understood that in this case, I have already played for weddings, it must be understood that it is not the artist who is put forward, who is the star, it is the bride and groom

you are behind the stars of the day, you are a musician who is there to play the repertoire you have been asked for money

So the idea is not to stand out as an artist but to be part of this event by being present but discreet

it's important to say this because some musicians may not like this kind of situation because it's particularly

For example, I remember that for a cocktail party for a medieval wedding, I had no amplification, at the request of brides who wanted acoustics and in an abbey

the guests came near me and spoke at the same time that I was playing, it can embarrass the musician, we must learn to play with it

you have to tell yourself that it's a job, it's not to show you how to do it and to tell you - how good I play! - because the public does not really listen to you

the guests listen but at the same time they discuss, and sometimes worse, they attracted by the music like in a discotheque or we like to speak at the same time as the music!

and they may be talking even harder than you play the harp! I experienced this kind of situation, and I tried to play the harp without the embarrassment

remember to ask if you made this kind of contract, its duration, the list of pieces to play during the religious ceremony or other

it is important to understand that in this first case, it is a job. in the second case, it is to present in a frame

I would not say it's an unprofessional setting, but where we're not going to give you that much precision, to have the opportunity to play in a group

in a cafe, in a restaurant, you can ask to be paid, but in some places, they do not have the culture of paying an artist

it must be said that it is an investment on your music

instead of playing in your corner, presenting your music to an audience, and can be engaged for other events

these are the two cases that exist, but we must be careful especially in France,

if you live in the Usa - or elsewhere - and you have other ideas to share, do it in comments

the idea is to tell yourself that you have two styles of events - Gigs - one is professional, or you are engaged with a pay

and in the other case, an event - not professional - which is rather to invest in a music, to present it or to - to work - of a show

but in these cases, do not expect to have some remuneration, and we will ask you to bring back the public in exchange

in a bar or a restaurant, the goal is to have money coming in

it is true that it is quite ambiguous, I do not advise everyone to do this

at the beginning of my career, I played without being paid, with more or less success

I had places that were nice to me, and that offered me a drink or a meal

and I had other experiences with places where people made fun of me and more than that I say thank you!

I advise you to be well informed, before contacting a place, what a reputation in this place, find reviews on the internet

the best advice I give you, avoid playing too often for free or very quickly people will find out

once I told someone that I could play without being paid,

and a few weeks later, a festival director asked me to come for free

but this festival had something to pay me, but I said I could play for free

I think the minimum is to ask for a counterpart, it can be a drink, a meal see more, but at least a counterpart

to avoid the fact that we musicians are associated with the fact that it is our passion - but also our job - and therefore we are not paid

I hope this video gave you ideas and do not hesitate - in both cases - to be professional

that is to say, to send a maximum of information to the persons in charge of the places, the possible date for your concert, a schedule, the information on your band

to send samples of MP3 tracks, or a link with videos, and be serious

I built my reputation in my community, because compared to my harp, I always arrived in advance, I talked with people

if there were technical problems, I tried to solve them before, so that when the concert started, everything was settled

I hope this video helps you, because when you start an artistic career, I think it's useful to have help

I think it's a bit of a subject - taboo- people keep their information for them, on my side I want to be transparent with you - break this pattern -

with my own experience... so - voilà -

I tell you soon for new videos!
