E: Watch out for the coffee

Hey Guys! Sign Duo here

We are painting my room. What?

White

We're painting it white

We just. We've already put the primer on. We did that yesterday and now

it's dry and today we're putting the actual paint on

and it was really hard to decide what paint color

to pick because there's so many whites

it's actually really difficult to pick

a white color because you have to consider all the undertones but I think we've

picked a good one

we picked a color called

white cloud

What's that?

Ready for this?

It's kind of hard for the camera to pick

up the undertones of the white but the

primer. It has like a purple undertone

This color, white cloud has a warm, yellow,

red undertone

E: Look at that!

All done with the first coat

Now we're gonna go have some lunch while it dries

Hey guys. It's the second coat right now

It's turning out really nice

beautiful

but we don't have a lot of paint left. I bought one

gallon and this one coat took up

three-quarters of that gallon but we're

hoping that it will cover the whole room

once again. We think it will

because the primer that was on it before we painted it the first

time kind of soaks up some of the paint so this time having a latex paint as the

base will not use so much paint

hopefully

Where's the screwdriver?

E: what do you think of the color

nice

Well today is a really overcast day

so we won't know until it's sunny

my mom had a market this morning

and she had some left over pies so she

gave Ryan two strawberry pies

I thought they were cherry pies so I got all excited

she brought me this raspberry jam

crust pie crust thing. Ain't it cute

Today we're gonna donate our stuffed animal

animals... whats the sign for animals?

So we're gonna donate our stuffed animals to the daycare I work at

That's what we're giving away

E: watch out for the coffee

This is the last one she got me

You know why it's so big?

I bought her a big one and she was like okay I'll guy a bigger one

so that's why she got me this

but I think it would be good for the kids to sleep on

It's soft right here

soft

so I think it would be good

I got it for him for graduation

This one was for Valentines Day obviously

I think 3 years ago for Valentines Day

This one you can see that it was when we first started dating

we didn't want to overwhelm each other right

so you bought me small things

You didn't want to overwhelme me.

Woah, you like me that much

E: haha

get something small

This is something car related I want the kids of tomorrow to learn

It has everything. The engine

Inside you can see all the gauges. It actually turns

see under too

Ryan is so sweet. He always got me big teddy bears.

This is the teddy bear he was talking about that

I was like I'm gonna get you a bigger one

So this was Christmas. I know this was Christmas

This was when we got back together

when we went to... what's that place called?

Universal Studio

We were broken up before that

and we went when we weren't together

and it was a fun night

We were kind of like feeling each other

like not really sure if we wanted to get back together or not

so it was an exciting night

This was given to me from my dad

He would travel a lot for work so he gave me this

we just left the daycare and we gave them the kids the toys and the stuffed

animals and they were so happy.

They. Especially the big one. The big one

I told you!

They were jumping on so much I wish we could

film it but of course privacy, kids

don't want to involve that but they were

so happy and they make me so happy

Ryan though was kind of like. I try to like because there's a baby, a five month

old and I was holding her like Ryan you should hold her

and he was like oh no no no no

yeah

I didn't want to hold her

Do babies scare you?

They're not scary. I just don't want to hold them

the kids loved you though

They kept on trying to play with Ryan

I'd tell them, "go over there"

They would go away and then immediately come back

"go over there"

They'd come back

Just too much fun

I guess I am

we stopped at Bloomingdale's to pick up some more

coffee for Ryan because we're all out

We're not out yet

We're out of your favorite

Roma

yeah

We have cioccolato still

We still have that but you don't like that

no, I like it

You like it for... at night

for dessert, but you hate it in the morning

That's true. You know me so well

yeah

I know him

I know him

It's early morning so it's super empty

kids are like life. They make life so much more fun and more

just joyful

Looks good. I want to try cutting with it

I'm curious how many of you guys have kids?

Employee: There you go

E: Thank you

Employee: You're welcome

hey. It's later in the week

I don't know where we stopped or left off

but today Tammy my brother's girlfriend

she's so sweet she brought me doughnuts for an early birthday gift today these are

my favorite doughnut

raspberry pistachio berry

and mango these are

vegan doughnuts it's so good they're fried in

avocado oil really good and they're Ryan approved

They're good

I went to a car event to support my friend who's hosting it

Then I came over

We are going to go have dinner with my family

my birthday's later this later in the

week so I was thinking that we could just celebrate today since it's the

weekend and I didn't want to trouble anyone with getting together again for

my birthday so tonight we can maybe celebrate instead

okay we'll see you

Bye! Love you!

IBM PCjr Repair and Restoration - Duration: 17:09.

Hello, and welcome back to The 8-Bit Guy.

So, in this episode, what I'm going to be doing is a complete restoration of this IBM

PC jr.

Now, this was recently donated to me by Sean Hafeez, and it's actually not in bad shape,

but it actually does have a problem with the monitor and the keyboard.

So, let's see what we can do to fix it up!

Looking at this system, cosmetically it is in pretty good shape and just needs some minor

cleaning.

But the keyboard is noticeably yellowed compared to the computer.

It also has some nasty gunk between the keys, which shouldn't be too hard to clean, but

it is also missing the little silver badge.

The monitor is a different story.

As seen here in the original unboxing video, the monitor doesn't work, even though it

was working before Sean shipped it.

Since the PCjr has a proprietary video connector, there was no easy way to test this monitor

on another system, so I plugged in a composite monitor to the PCjr to verify the computer

was working.

After that, I took the monitor partially apart to look for anything loose, but couldn't

find anything.

Eventually, I discovered that if I whacked the side of the monitor, it would come on

for a short time, but the picture was unstable.

So we'll come back to the monitor later.

For the moment, let's have a look at the keyboard.

This thing has a lot of black scuffs on it, some that don't show up well on camera.

So, I'm going to use one of my tried and true methods, where I just put some baking

soda on a paper towel and then wet it with water until it becomes kind of a mushy paste.

This works extremely effectively on this keyboard.

Here's one on the side that wouldn't come off easily with windex or alcohol.

And it just wipes away in seconds with baking soda.

Once I'm happy with the exterior, I decided I should open it up, for a number of reasons.

For one, it will make it easier to clean the keys, but also I want to retrobrite this thing.

While removing the screws on the bottom, I also noticed that it has these little rubber

feet here, and one there, but it is missing this one.

So I will have to find or fabricate a replacement.

Despite removing all of the screws, I couldn't get the keyboard open.

Feeling around on this label, it felt like maybe there was a hidden screw under there.

And sure enough, there it is.

After removing that, it opened up easily, and oops..

I forgot to take the batteries out of this thing.

Ok, here's the circuit board, and here's the little rubber contact mat, which appears

to also double as a spring for each key.

This thing is pretty filthy and will need to be cleaned up as well!

I wasn't sure how the keys came out at first.

Looks like the space bar comes out easily enough, as does the enter key.

It appears the keys just pop off with some force like this.

So, I thought maybe I should get out my key puller and use that.

And while that does work, it occurred to me that it might be easier just to push them

out from the other side.

And that works fine too.

The easiest way to clean this mat was just a good spray with the hose.

Then I gave the keyboard a good spray as well.

And here they are.

They aren't fully dried off yet, but you should already be able to tell a big improvement

there.

Although, it's interesting how it has this discoloration now.

And plastic seems much improved as well.

OK, so this is a little bit of a mystery before I start the retrobrite.

If you look at the actual PC junior's case color and compared to say, this space bar,

the color matches perfectly already.

I see no reason to attempt to treat these keys at all.

But, when you compare to the keyboard case itself, the keyboard is noticeably more yellow

than the computer.

I think it may be less visible on camera, but there is clearly a difference in person.

But here's where things get interesting.

The inside of the keyboard is essentially the same color as the outside.

This typically indicates that this may be the original color of the keyboard because

UV light damage willl usually just affect the outside.

So, I am not 100% sure if what I'm about to do will change it any.

But I do know I want to take some alcohol and remove the residual adhesive from this

little badge area here, because I plan to fabricate a new badge.

And it looks like alcohol did the job for that.

Now, all of the keys on this thing are dirty, but 4 or 5 of them have this really sticky

gunk on them like this.

I tried using windex, and later alcohol and neither one made a dent.

However, I found that I could use my fingernail to carefully scrape the gunk off.

After that, alcohol removed what residue was left.

And this is the finished key.

So, now just to do the rest of the keyboard.

Since the keyboard is fairly small, and to avoid any streaking, I decided to use the

submersion method on it.

I filled up a small bucket of water, just deep enough for the keyboard.

And one concern I had was that the back of the keyboard had a lot of air pockets and

I wasn't sure if it would sink or not.

Fortunately, it did.

I'll be using the clear salon developer liquid.

And then I'll let this sit out in the sun for a few hours.

And while that's going, I thought I'd turn attention to the monitor problem.

OK, so, for the CRT part of this problem, I thought I would enlist some help.

So, I know my way around a CRT a little bit, I've done videos on CRTs before, but I am

by no means an expert, and so I thought I would ask DJ here, who lives in town, he also

runs a YouTube channel doing all kinds of old retro computer junk too, so I'll put

a link down in the description.

Anyway, he knows a little more about CRTs than I do so he's going to help me out with

this.

Hey y'all, I'm DJ and I'm not an expert with monitors either but I've had a lot

of experience with them over the years and I've learned a lot from one of the modern

experts in CRTs.

And there's only a few things that are probably wrong with this thing given what its doing

right now.

And the one thing that I think we're probably looking at here is something to do with the

flyback transformer.

This monitor was working before it got shipped here and upon arrival it was intermittent

or non functional.

And typically what this means is that the flyback transformer, which is a big heavy

part mounted on top of a PCB probably had some rough handling of the entire monitor

during the shipping.

It's a miracle these days that you can ship a CRT and have it arrive in one piece.

But, with that flyback transformer getting jostled around it's quite possible that

it's broken solder joints or possibly cracked a trace on the PCB and so, what we really

need to do is just kind of open it up and see what we're working with and see if we

see anything that stands out.

So, DJ got to work disassembling the monitor.

Of course, I had already done this myself but hadn't gone any deeper than than just

taking the cover off.

So, let's turn it on here and see what happens.

Hey!

We got high voltage!

So, we already knew that that was intermittent.

But, what I wanted to turn it on for was to check and see if we could tell that the heater

was glowing.

And I do see the heater glowing.

Just faintly.

I actually had to turn the lights out in the room and make it completely dark before the

camera was able to really see the heater glowing.

Well, that tells us that the heater is not the problem.

I just wanted to see if the heater was going to come on, but we got high voltage this time,

so something changed regarding the orientation of the machine, or us banging around on it

trying to get it disassembled.

All right, so when we had it face down and we were working on it, we noticed it was turning

on every single time that we tried to turn it on and had a picture every time.

And then, we flipped it down to this orientation and it stopped having any high voltage.

If I turn it on at this point, it kind of goes whit, but it doesn't make any high

voltage.

But, if I flex the board, it comes on.

And so I suspect we've got either a bad solder joint or a broken trace.

So, even though I don't think this thing is charged any high voltage, I want to make

sure the tube is discharged before we mess around with it too much more.

So I will hook onto the DAG ground there.

So this screwdriver is now grounded.

And we just get it up under the cup.

And there was no curpaps.

So, it's not charged.

All safe.

After discharging, DJ started to disconnect all of the cables so that the boards could

be removed and examined more closely.

During manufacturing they had placed a big blob of what looks like some kind of silicone

like they use for windshield sealant.

Anyway, we couldn't get it loose so DJ just sliced it off with his knife.

Finally, we had all of the boards disconnected.

OK, so we noticed this from the other side as we were disassembling it and we suspected

that there was a crack, but here is a big ole crack that goes clear over to here.

And it cuts, it possibly cuts through this trace, definitely cuts through this trace

cuts all the way across this solder joint, then there's this gap here, an air gap for

this transistor, but on the other side of it, it continues across here and cuts through

this trace, and possibly this trace and maybe into this one.

So, we just need to investigate that and see what we need to bridge out there.

Since this crack might be hard to see for some of you, I thought I'd get the magnifying

glass out and let you see a bit more closeup what we're dealing with here.

And I created this little diagram so you could see exactly where the crack is and how much

of the board it covers.

As bad as this looks, it doesn't actually cross that many traces so, this could have

been a lot worse.

OK, so the first two that we're going to tackle are this one right here, which we can

actually, if you get into it with the magnifying glass you can see that there's a crack right

through the middle of that hole, but all we need to do is reflow that joint to make it

whole.

This one here, though, we need to get in here and scrape away some of the solder mask on

either side of this crack, so that we can make a bridge across the crack.

I'm using a very high tech tool here, its called my pocket knife.

I just want to expose enough copper here that we can do that bridge.

Next, DJ added a little solder to the copper he had exposed, then he bent a paperclip to

an approximate size and soldered it right across the crack.

Then he just chopped off the extra paper clip, and the joint is repaired.

OK, so then I just want to make sure that this joint that we just made has continuity

so I'll go here and the meter says yes.

After that, we worked to re-assemble the monitor, which took about 20 minutes.

The whole time we were crossing our fingers and hoping this fixed everything.

We had to cut several zip ties, so we replaced those with brand new zip ties.

We also used some hot glue to fill in that area we had to cut away before.

Well, let's see if we let the smoke out or if it blows up or something like that.

We've got it all put back together again.

Hoping for the best.

Hey, I hear high voltage.

Look at that!

I'm going to poke at it now.

Still got high voltage.

Alright!

I'm calling that one fixed!

OK, it's been a few hours, so time to check on the keyboard!

I've got to admit I can't see any difference, but it's hard to say until I rinse it off

and take it inside to compare with the PCjr.

So here it is after rinsing and comparing it with the other half of the keyboard, I

can't actually see any color difference.

So, I think this is the original color after all.

That being the case, it is time to put the keys back in.

Fortunately, I do have a picture I took of the keyboard before I started, which will

make it easier to re-assmble.

Popping keys back into a freshly cleaned keyboard is always extremely satisfying.

It's like you just bicycled up a really tall hill and now you are coasting back down

the other side.

And here's the freshly cleaned rubber mat.

And the logic board.

And the back piece.

And here's the finished keyboard.

The color may not have changed, but it looks a hundred times cleaner now!

It looks almost brand new, except for one problem, which is that missing badge.

So I had an idea of how to solve this.

Looking at the PCjr itself, I assumed the badge probably matched this one.

They are the same size.

I think I can use my brother label maker to print a replacement.

I always keep several different colors in stock for this sort of thing.

I think I'll use the black text on clear background.

So, I'll pop this one into the label maker, then I made a quick little design here.

Since the labels aren't wide enough, I made it as two separate parts.

And now to print it.

Of course to make this look right, I want to stick the labels onto this aluminum tape.

So I first had to cut a square that fit perfectly in the hole.

And once I was sure it fit, then I peeled the backing off the label like so, and I think

you can see where I'm going with this.

I just stuck this right to the aluminum.

And here's the finished badge.

Granted, this is much thinner than the original badge.

But I think it will still stand up to scrutiny in most cases.

And there we have it.

It's obviously not perfect, but it was easy to make and I would imagine the average person

would never notice that it wasn't the original.

I went to the hardware store to find rubber feet, but it's hard to know which one will

fit.

As I'm always needing rubber feet in various sizes and I'm just about out of them anyway,

I just bought one of each package.

I'll likely use these at some point in the coming years.

This keyboard uses unusually small rubber feet.

I tried the smallest one I got and it was still too large.

What I'll do is order some smaller ones on eBay, but for the moment I can just cut

these down to size and they should fit just fine.

And so yeah, there you go.

Fits fine now.

However, there's still a problem in that the new foot is slightly taller than the rest,

especially this one on the opposite end.

So what I'll do is go ahead and pull that one out too, and replace it with another of

the same kind.

And then I'll turn it over and test it out.

Yep, it is not wobbly anymore.

As for the computer, it still needed to be cleaned, but it was mostly just scuffs and

dirt, so I just used my usual methods to clean it up.

Once I was done cleaning, I thought I'd better go ahead and do some disk drive maintenance.

I used some alcohol and cleaned the disk drive heads.

This one is double sided, so you have to clean top and bottom.

Then I used some lithium grease on all of the moving parts, especially the rails.

And now it's time for a final test.

The computer looks good.

And it appears to be working properly as well.

This restoration project has been a complete success, unlike some of my earlier projects.

All right guys, I hope you enjoyed this episode on restoring the PC Junior.

This is one of my more successful restoration projects.

And I always want to give a thanks out to DJ for helping me with this monitor.

There is something that I want to mention, though.

First of all, this video was not planned, I just needed to get it done because I am

planning on doing an entire documentary on the PC Junior here relatively soon.

So, I just needed to get it working.

The other thing that I wanted to mention is because I am using a CRT display in this video,

I just thought this would be a good opportunity to mention a problem that pops up from time

to time.

I always get comments down in my videos saying, "Hey David, can't you remove that terrible

high pitched whine noise that I hear, it hurts my ears."

Well, here's the thing.

Actually, I do.

In fact, 95% of the time I get that whine removed, but 5% of the time I don't.

And you're hearing the 5% of the time that I've missed it.

The reason I missed it is because my 42 year old ears simply can't hear the sound, at

all.

Now, I know what the sound sounds like because I remember hearing it when I was younger.

So, what I have to do is I have to look for any scene where I'm using a CRT and then

I can actually dump a high pitched filter in there in the editing process to hopefully

reduce or remove that sound.

But, here's the thing.

When I'm done with a video, I typically watch it two or three times looking for spelling

mistakes, or you know anything wrong with like where something needs color correction

or something like that and I can see those things most of the time when I'm reviewing

the video.

But, I literally can't hear the high pitched whine so if I've missed it then I've just

missed it.

So, all I can do is apologize for that, hopefully I got it all in this video, I tried.

I went back like three times and verified every clip that has a CRT in it.

I put the filter on there.

Sometimes the filter doesn't always work too.

I'm not sure why, but I've been told sometimes they can still hear it even when I know I've

put the filter on there.

So, I hope I got it all out, maybe I didn't.

Anyway, I'll apologize for it in advance.

And, I look forward to presenting the full documentary on this computer.

It's a really fascinating piece of computer history.

Until then, stick around and thanks for watching!

Terrace House: Opening New Doors: Part 1

The premise of this Japanese language reality series is instantly familiar — a group of

young people live in a house filled with cameras.

But rather than the fights and drama of similar shows like The Real World or Big Brother,

there isn't a lot that happens in Terrace House.

It's just six people being pretty nice to each other.

For 30 minutes at a time, you can watch a group of people sitting around watching TV,

eating, and awkwardly making eye contact.

Where will Terrace House: Opening New Doors take us?

The suspense is gently, apologetically killing us, but we'll all just have to wait until

March 13th to find out.

Tabula Rasa: Season 1

This series centers on a woman with total amnesia who finds out that she's the prime

downfall.

Look for it on Netflix on March 16th.

On My Block: Season 1

The first season arrives on March 16th.

Edha: Season 1

There's a lot going on in the trailers for Edha, an Argentinian series focused on the

In a world of greed and betrayal, who can you really trust?

Find out on March 16th.

The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter

Plot details about The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter have been few and far between,

but all we need to know is that it stars Danny McBride and Josh Brolin, and it was produced

launch on Netflix.

when the hotel where they work is taken over by terrorists.

Tune in for the laughs on March 23rd.

Santa Clarita Diet: Season 2

Look for it on March 30th.

Happy Anniversary

In this indie comedy, a young couple take a hard look at their marriage and try to decide

whether they want to get a divorce on their three year anniversary.

"Happy anniversary."

"Yeah!"

on Twitter that The Titan will indeed be released as a Netflix original.

Original stand-up comedy

Keep your eyes peeled for a host of brand new stand-up comedy specials this March, with

a heavy focus on international acts.

Look for a new special by Adel Karam on March 1st, followed by Malena Pichot and Natalia

Valdebenito on the 2nd.

As the month rolls on, Netflix will drop Gad Elmaleh: American Dream on the 6th, Ricky

Gervais: Humanity on the 13th, and Season 2 of The Standups on March 20th.

If you're looking for laughs, you're definitely in the right place.

That covers all the Netflix originals.

Now, let's look at all the other movies and TV shows coming to Netflix in March 2018.

New movies

Netflix is only bringing in a handful of new action movies this month.

For sword-and-sandals epics, we've got 300 arriving on the 1st and 2017's Troy: The Odyssey

coming on the 12th.

On the sci-fi spectrum, look for 2307: Winter's Dream on the 1st, along with Battle Drone

and I Am Number Four.

In the mood for lighter fare?

Netflix is adding a great selection of comedies in March.

The first of the month will see Ghostbusters 1 and 2, Beerfest, and The Bucket List hitting

the streaming service.

Also keep an eye out for Jackass: Number Two and Jackass 3.5 on the 1st and 15th respectively.

There won't be a whole lot of change on the documentary front this month, but the few

films that are arriving will definitely be worth watching.

Look for Expedition China on the 4th, Conor McGregor: Notorious on the 21st, and Red Trees

on the 24th.

And if that's not enough drama, Martin Scorsese's Casino is joining the Netflix ranks on the

first, along with Gridiron Gang, Moon, Revolutionary Road, and Up in the Air.

Go ahead and take our money now.

"Here, take mine too."

New family arrivals on the first of the month include the animated adventure comedy Alpha

and Omega and Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild.

On the 6th, relive the classics with 1974's Benji and the 1977 sequel, For the Love of

Benji — just in time for Netflix's original Benji reboot on March 16th.

Finally, Netflix's new thriller lineup is heating up along with the weather.

All three Cruel Intentions films arrive on the first, side-by-side with Hostage, The

Descent, and The Gift.

Finally, Let Me In is showing up to creep out audiences at the end of the month.

Look for that on the 31st.

New television

March won't herald the arrival of much new television, with only five non-Netflix shows

landing throughout the month.

On March 1st, look for the 18th season of Law & Order: SVU, followed by the second season

of The Hollywood Masters on March 15th.

Finally, the month ends with the 2018 season of Men on a Mission on March 27th and the

kids' series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir on the 30th.

VIRAL Color Wash! HOW TO MAINTAIN Funky Hair Color! - Duration: 6:39.

What up guys? Ashley Elizabeth here with AEHM artistry and today I want to show you

how I maintain my vibrant purple hair and vibrant colors. It is a new product

that I started using and I am so obsessed with it. So right now I'm going

to show you my before. It's been about a month since I did my purple hair over my

platinum hair. And you guys probably saw my old platinum maintaining videos and I

wanted you to see how I maintained my purple vibrant colored hair. Which I used

this product two times already and I stopped because I was like "this stuff is

amazing" and I want you guys to kind of see how it looks before versus after. And

I'll try to find a picture of when I did it before. But my purple...so I missed

one wash of it and I did a detox shampoo, just helped kind of take off some of

that color. But it's still pretty vibrant. Like I'm still pretty happy with it. We

can see it's definitely patchy. If you saw my first videos, or follow me on

Instagram, you'll see that my purple was like a very deep purple. And I still like

the color now, it's fading awesome, but I don't like how it's patchy. And it could

use like a little bit of vibrance. And then you can see there's more of a shelf.

So with this it kind of...I'll show you my technique it was really easy really cool.

But I'm gonna show you right now. So that's the before, and I will show you

the after.

Alright, here I am back. It's actually been 2 days since I did the

shampoo rinse, but this is one I have time to film. And I am using the Viral

color wash by celeb luxury, is the brand. But this stuff is awesome. So I'll show

you the after so you can see a little bit of richness. My roots are getting

really crazy at this point but it definitely freshened it up. And then you

can kind of see under here there's some more vibrance. And also came down through,

so I don't have as much of a like half shelf, as you saw before. It is more of

like a gradual fade. I do still have some splotching and that's just gonna be like

that until I can reapply my color. But you can see the colors more vibrant back

here again. And I just feel like it's more blended.

So I just jumped onto the celeb luxury website and looked at the viral color

wash and I'm noticing there's about ten different shades to choose from. So

silver, red, yellow, blue, all that fun stuff. And then just reading up a little

bit about it. Oh by the way, this full size does retail for around $35 to $40

dollars from what I just saw. But I did get the travel size. So I did get it at a

professional beauty supply store, so I can't disclose how much I pay for these.

But that is what the normal retail is so the travel size should be around $10 or

$15. I personally recommend doing the travel size if you're not like stuck on

a certain color and you want to constantly change it. Just get the travel

size and it should be okay. I've used this about four times, four or five times,

and I'm only down to right there. So I still have plenty to go. So what the

brand says is it's meant to either maintain or create hair colors. So that's

really cool. In one simple wash. It does have to be really bright blonde hair, so

extremely lightened blonde hair. It says basically the palest you can get it for

it to guarantee a stick. Instantly adds color wash in it while cleansing to

maintain or create color. Increase the color intensity by using two to three

times in a row. So if you're using this as a color wash, just use it basically

until you're happy with the result (two or three times). And then you can

continuous, continue use for fresh color and help stop fading! It is sulfate free,

paraben free, ammonia free, peroxide free, PPD free, and then there is no animal

testing, So this is cruelty free and this is also a 100% vegan! It's

very cool and it'll also pH balanced. And then they also have recommendations like

the conditioners and stuff like that. So that's the color wash. Like I said I

haven't tried the conditioner series yet or the Gem Light series but I have heard

good things about both of those. So it's a whole variety to choose from. I'm super

happy with my results of this. Hopefully you guys can kind of tell. My biggest

thing is there's like now a blend. So if I want I can make it a lot darker and do

it twice, leaving it on pretty long, and it'd be pretty pretty dark. But my

biggest thing is it actually blends now. I no longer have that shelf of

that's where the purple ends, that's where the blonde begins. So it helped a

lot with that as well. I'm gonna go over with you how I maintain my hair and the

best way to maintain any kind of vibrant fun funky hair colors. I do my regular

shampoo that sulfate free or I use a purple shampoo. This is the waterworks

one I've been using lately. So I've liked that. So I do that, and then I rinse

everything out, then I go in with a deep conditioner because I don't wash my hair

not often and my hair is dry and it needs it. But daily finisher is fine. I

apply that all to the ends, like I'd say... you know if you bring your ponytail back...

so ponytail down, that's where I apply conditioner. And then I go in with this

color wash from viral and I put it right on the roots. Kind of grazing like that,

working it in, and then working it down. Now if you wash your hair every day or

every other day you can just wash with this. That is what they recommend if you

want to create very vivid colors or maintain very vivid colors. They

recommend using this as your shampoo only and not doing other ones. But like I

said I get some buildup, I use a lot of products, so I need something to take off

the slough. Now the reason why I do the conditioner, well it's just two steps, I

don't need to just put it on the roots wait to process and go. But the main

reason why I do the conditioner is so that the color, the purple color that I

have, doesn't bleed too much on the more silvery part of my hair. I want it to

tone a little bit while I'm rinsing it out, but I don't want it to grab. So if

you have the conditioner basically as a barrier, it kind of it prevents too much

pigment from going on the area that you don't want it to. And you can apply that

to any kind of vibrant color situation you have if you don't have a solid one

shot color. As always, thank you guys so much for watching I hope that answered a

couple of your questions out there about how I'm maintaining my purple locks. If

you're new here, please go down and hit that little SUBSCRIBE button if you want

to see more beauty related videos~ I post two to three times a week and I now do

series videos as well. So I got a lot of content coming out for you. Thank you

guys again so much for watching and have a great

lovely day! XOXO

By the way, if anybody knows of a good purple or gray lip liner...help

a sister out, drop it in the comments because it's hard! It's hard to not have

the lip liner that matches!

Magic The Gathering: 2x Unstable Booster Packs Opening: That Mythic though! - Duration: 2:26.

Hey guys, MtgDecksForFun here, and today we are going to open some unstable.

Because this set is really fun to open.

It's kinda sad that the 15th wizards said they are gonna make an announcement, and they

did and all this stuff is banned in commander now and it makes me really sad.

I don't know why we couldn't just have fun.

So we have sly spy, crow storm, clock of DOOOOOOM, and party crasher.

It is a 3/3 for 5 with haste.

You can attack with party crasher once each combat during each opponents turn.

Then we have clocknapper.

It's a 2/2 for 5 that says when it enters the battlefield choose, beginning phase, precombat

main phase, combat phase, post combat main phase, or ending phase.

Steal the phase from target opponent during his or her next turn.

We have an island, neural network, mandatory friendship shackles, and an angel token.

I saw a shiny card and I thought it was blue and I almost had a stroke.

So we have kindly cognition, knight of the widget, half orc-half, ooo and Urza, Academy

Headmaster.

It's a 5 drop planeswalker for one of each color +1 head to ask urza.com and clock on

+1, -1 and head to askurza.com and click -1, and -6 is head to ask urza.com and clock -6

ok.

And we have a swamp, lacky recycler, dictation quillograph, and a gnome token.

That's not bad.

Thank you guys so much for watching, if you enjoyed the video give it a like it really

helps me out, subscribe if you haven't already, and I will see you in the next video.

All About Acupressure - www.ElementalHealingArts.Com - Duration: 7:13.

My name is Philips of Elemental Healing Arts

I'm a licensed acupuncturist, but I also do acupressure

and today I want to talk about that.

It uses the same meridians and points as acupuncture,

but it activates them with the power of your hands...

I begin almost all my treatments with at least some acupressure

Usually I start with the feet where there are many powerful

grounding points.

This is a nice way to make initial contact with the patient

It helps them arrive and start to relax

Acupressure is really like a conversation

and the secret to a good conversation

...if you don't know, I'll tell you...

It's listening. Right?

Just like your friends love to be listened to

when they want to vent, the body really wants to be heard.

And in this day and age, it maybe doesn't get the opportunity.

So just touch itself is therapeutic for the patient

But also, by tuning in, I can get a lot of information.

By feeling how and where the body holds tension

if the skin is tight or soft, hot or cold

I can start to make my diagnosis using the elemental principles

of Chinese Medicine.

"I definitely came in with more energy and emotion

going on in my head.

And the acupressure really brought that down.

All of the grounding points that Philips used were perfect

They were spot on."

"Seven months ago, I was riding my mountain bike

took a right turn on asphalt

blew the back tire, and broke the femur of my right leg.

They did surgery on me,

and over the course of those months,

I developed sciatica up and down my hip.

I came to see my friend Philips

to see what he had up his sleeve.

He did some acupuncture on me, and some acupressure.

In the course of two treatments,

with his magical process,

he has basically brought my pain level down to zero."

Over millenia of experimentation, the ancient masters

mapped out the meridian system,

which shows how the energy flows throughout the body.

For instance, if you're experiencing pain in your wrist

and numbness in, say, your thumb and index finger

we'd treat you along this whole channel which runs up the arm

since the compression could be happening at the elbow

or even up at the shoulder (or neck).

Just by holding these points gently and patiently

the body naturally starts releasing

layer after layer of tightness, tension and stuck energy

comes undone. It's quite miraculous.

Sometimes, I might employ more of a massage.

opening up the arm and shoulder, massaging down the arm

to release the blocked energy, or "Qi" as we call it.

"I'm a cashier, and I overuse my arms all day.

So Philips was able to massage the overworked muscles

and they felt better immediately.

I'd recommend that if you are in a career

or whatever you do, if you overuse a muscle,

acupressure can really help that."

We might do some orthopedic tests

"Feel that? Right in there?"

And then we combine that

with Chinese Medical massage

to release muscle tension and increase circulation.

This gives me all sorts of really good diagnostic information

about what part of her body needs more attention.

"In Philips' studio, there was a quietness

a welcoming quietness that I found myself just able to

breathe...

not fill the room with chatter, and experience the whole

session with calm and quiet energy."

Most of us have a lot going on in our head

so I'll often close a treatment with some acupressure here

similar to Cranial-Sacral work

This is very gentle massage

that helps release stuck energy

and drop away from your old thought-loops

This is often when I'll bring in my Reiki and Medical Qi Gong

specialty, which is a soothing and powerful way

to touch upon the subtle energetic layers

and balance the whole system.

"It really was powerful.

He does Reiki and energy healing -

the Medical Qi Gong that he does - at the end

which I find very relaxing.

He moves with his intuition, which I really appreciated,

and, yeah, I feel like he's a really great fit for me.

And I think he could really meet a lot of people where they are."

"I started to feel, right away, my Liver moving...

like pumping...

without him touching it.

It was very deep, and I totally relaxed..."

"The acupressure seems like it's really

been good for me. And I've been able to practice

a little bit on my own."

As a Chinese Medical practitioner,

I have many tools to offer you besides just acupressure,

from a 4,000 year old tradition.

Of course, we are famous for our needles.

We also do cupping and moxibustion,

and exercise as well, including Qi Gong,

We can also get into nutrition, diet, herbs and supplementation

and even into emotional work, through the Five Elements

Every treatment is completely customized

To meet you, your needs, and your health goals.

My role is really that I'm here to help you

transform into the best possible version of you.

So really, the sky's the limit!

"My session with Philips was

one of the most powerful sessions I've ever had."

"I left feeling relaxed, like I was floating."

"I'm ready to come back into the world again."

"I'm feeling like I'm flowing...

with life now."

"Just bringing to me and bringing to the environment

this peacefulness and this sense of love."

Fresh Face: Jamie Brewer of AMY AND THE ORPHANS - Duration: 1:47.

--Hi, I'm Jamie Brewer. I'm Amy in Amy and the Orphans.

I'm an only child in the

family so I have a lot of support. I still have spontaneity, very outgoing.

And when I was younger for sure they sometimes had a hard time trying to

control me at times.

--I first started learning about theater and the

production of theater when I was in eighth grade. My first job was American

Horror Story.

--I draw inspiration from everybody that I am surrounded with, from

family, from friends. I have a huge support system.

--Making my first Broadway

debut is really exciting and really humbling. The biggest thing is

that people see me, not just the character, the characters that I portray,

but sees the real me. Not just the exterior two characters or two people.

The biggest thing is the heart. Once you see the heart in people and the hearth in

what you're working on, you can have fun with everything that you do. And don't

be afraid to speak up. It's your voice that matters. Being yourself is where

your heart truly lies. That's the biggest thing that people need to see. Listen to

the support system that you have

and always being true to yourself. Find the

zen, the yin yang, in your life, and have fun with it.

I have the sass. I have, and all

that, and the adventurous side. Yeah, I feel like all the princesses. The

personality is the key.

Symbols of Representation | ASL Ponderings - Duration: 7:09.

I'm going to try to do this with minimal editing, because I'm on a time crunch and

I don't want to take 500 years doing this video.

So. Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome. Today's another ASL Ponderings.

What I want to talk about today is representation of a community.

Now, if you don't know, lately, there's been a lot of uproar in the disabled community about

a bill that passed the House.

It still hasn't had anything to do with Senate, luckily, and hopefully it never comes to that. But the bill is HR 620.

It's basically a bill that aims to, pretty much, gut the current ADA laws, and that is a very bad thing.

Because HR 620 will basically make it much more difficult for disabled people to

get the accommodations they need.

ANY disabled people, including deaf people, so this is really important for everyone.

So if you want more information, I will leave some links below for more details about that.

But that's the basics of *stumbles* HR-HR—HR 620.

I think it's great that there's been an upsurge in people showing support, and saying they don't want HR 620.

A good example is Apple. Their App Store recently showcased some apps that are specifically for disability,

and supporting people who have disabilities, like screen readers and…

I don't know, I didn't really look, but I noticed it and thought that was nice.

And they had an article talking about what Apple does for their accessibility on their OS, iOS. That was cool.

And... One friend tagged me in it, I saw it and went that's great.

A local bookstore in Seattle, Elliott Bay Book Company, posted a picture on their Instagram.

I'll show it here and link it below too.

That picture, thumbs up. Queer and disability books, books that are about those topics together. Fantastic.

But. I have a problem. What the problem is… Um…

Now, if you remember, last week? Yeah, last week, I did a video with a shirt that a lot of you people liked, this one.

And I have no problem with this shirt. Now, um.

My problem is with the choice of symbols to represent communities.

Now, if you look at the Accessibility shirt. It shows a wheelchair for wheelchair users, fine.

A blind person with a cane and a service dog, great.

A brain to show the neurodiverse community, with autism, Down's syndrome, all of that, mental illness, etc.

And then what they use to represent the deaf community is this. That's the sign for "interpret."

I want to add this. It's a really little thing, but I caught, on the website where they sell these, Bonfire—

I'll leave the link below—but at the bottom, they have a description of the shirt. It says, "hands signing ASL."

Technically, that is accurate. But those hands specifically are signing "interpret."

So I just wanted that to be clear.

Now, great. Because this shirt is specifically talking about "accessibility matters."

Now, let's go back to Elliott Bay.

That picture shows [interpret].

But I have a problem with that, because in this situation, you're talking about queerness and disability.

The disability specifically, not about accessibility. So in my head, this is the wrong symbol to use.

I think what should be used instead is this. Because it's "sign/signing."

It's showing more focus on the general use of hands, not [interpret].

Because this is "interpret," it's more specifically about accessibility, not about language, about sign.

So…um… I know that [sign] doesn't represent everyone in the deaf community. Neither does [interpret].

This is why I have a problem with this symbol is because…

[Interpret] focuses on the need to have accommodations. While [sign] doesn't necessarily.

It focuses more on the cultural aspect of being deaf.

(Talking about oral deaf people here.) Even if you don't sign, I think [sign] still focuses more on the

cultural aspect, because if you don't sign, you do still sometimes need accommodations.

But generally, people that I know who don't sign usually don't request for accommodations.

Therefore, it means they usually won't have interpreters, [interpret] doesn't represent them either.

AND for the love of god, PLEASE do not use THIS to represent the deaf community. NO. No.

That just puts the focus on the "broken," the "missing," the… "lack of." Don't.

Many of us don't view ourselves that way. So… Don't. Don't. Just…no.

THIS focuses more on our language, our culture, who we are as a people, not what we're losing.

So… I just wanted to get that off my chest. Um… I'm curious, what do you think of this?

Do you agree? Do you not? It's okay if you don't agree.

Let me know what you think, how this should be approached. And um, I guess that's all.

I am IMPRESSED that I got that mostly in one take. FANTASTIC. Thanks for watching.
