I just want to show you a little snippet look my birth town and the town on based

into the moment you Council in New South Wales Australia

Newcastle today is still an industrial town but it's got some beautiful beaches

so I decided to make two friends up north on a road trip then fill so of

course Jack come along yeah

you rely

so we headed out from Newcastle up north we plan to go to seals rocks for the

night or two nights so we headed up through Roman Terrace kirua and then

through to bulla deal which is one of my favourite places to stop before I get

back to Newcastle when I head out and then anyway we didn't stay there the

night and went through two seals rocks booked in to the reflections cairn park

went up the shop to get some supplies end up coming back to the park and found

out that we were being kicked out at six o'clock at night because we had Jack the

dog and they weren't a dog friendly park even though the managers of the park had

a dog themselves which seemed to be it weird

so we headed out from seals rocks to find a spot found this beautiful place

called brambles reserve

Jack annoying Benny bill sitting back relaxed way a little bit pissed off we

got kicked out of a park because of a dog camp toy night night one of our

beautiful sight so decided to get out the drone to have a look at the

beautiful place we'd picked estate

brambles reserve is part of the Smiths Lakes water system part of the bid Coast

Council local government area in New South Wales approximately about 274

kilometers from Sydney

so I decided to change batteries and white a little bit and go up when the

Sun was starting to set

it's a surprising view from the drone now you're driving on the road and see a

lot of cars and houses and buildings but once you get in the air you realize how

remote you really are

in the end I think we got the better end of the deal by being asked to leave

reflections caravan park seals rocks

so we left brambles reserved headed towards foster ton curry decided to go

for a swim and have some breakfast

so what is a boys where are we come on Benny tell us where we are but I'm

catching up you two by the looks of it make the sauce huh the ton Carrie what's

the term carried a to hobby roadtrip probably still here been for a swim and

the Sharks didn't get him yet nice dolphins we see though yeah Jack

just lying back then was quite concerned about coming for us women the Sharks how

many sharks are in Australia as I'm starting to find out sharks are getting

more of a rat bad rap than they really deserve

so I decided to take the train up again and have a look around of this beautiful

aquatic area

foster can carries the jewel of the New South Wales north coast the beating

heart of the Great Lake system

this is the beautiful little beach we decided to take our morning swim

absolutely gorgeous bit cold when we first got in but got

used to it after a while

so it's time for us to leave foster town curry we decided we were going to head

up to a popular spot that I like to stay up at Camden Haven its Camden Haven

private airport

so this is the view from our campsite of where we stayed

Camden Haven River the other side of the airport

so we set up camp went exploring a little bit and wetting half showers and

of course lit the fire which is one of my favorite things about this campsite

is the open fire

and of course got into some serious drinking

you've gotta love the sand of the Australian bush at night with all the

cricketer an open fire

so I decided to go for an early-morning fly with the drone to show you this

beautiful Camden Haven River with their own weekly old jetty

Trump Goes Bold in Desperate Plea to Arm Teachers Shootings Will Not Happen Again

President Donald Trump made a bold claim about preventing school shootings on Sunday, less

than two weeks after the deadly shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida.

The president has advocated for several initiatives since the Marjory Stoneman Douglas attack,

including a ban on bump stocks, an increased focus on background checks and improved mental

health care.

Aside from those measures, Trump has urged for arming trained and qualified teachers

to protect the students they serve.

He made the claim Sunday, in fact, that �shootings will not happen again,� if teachers are

armed, The Daily Caller reported.

See the president�s full statement below:

�Armed Educators (and trusted people who work within a school) love our students and

will protect them.

Very smart people.

Must be firearms adept & have annual training.

Should get yearly bonus.

Shootings will not happen again � a big & very inexpensive deterrent.

Up to States,� he wrote.

President Trump also pushed for arming teachers during his speech at the Conservative Political

Action Conference near Washington, D.C. on Friday last week.

�Well-trained, gun-adept teachers and coaches� should carry firearms in schools, he told

the crowd, CNN reported.

�I mean, I don�t want to have a hundred guards with rifles standing all over the school.

You do a concealed carry permit.

This would be a major deterrent, because these people are inherently cowards.�

The push to arm teachers has come under fire by those who point to the fact that there

was already armed security during the Parkland shooting, as well as several past shootings,

but the gunman still wasn�t stopped.

In this particular case, the armed Douglas Stoneman resource officer, Scot Peterson,

stood outside the high school with his gun drawn for several minutes, failing to ever

go inside and confront the gunman.

The policy proposal has also been rejected by Florida Governor Rick Scott, who believes

the job of protecting students should be left to trained officers and law enforcement.

�I disagree with him,� Scott said on �Fox News Sunday.�

�I believe you�ve got to focus on people that are well trained law enforcement that

are trained to do this,� he continued.

�I want our teachers to teach.

And I want our law enforcement officers to be able to protect the students.

I want each group to focus on what they�re good at.�

However, others point out that numerous teachers and staff who dedicate their time to students

every day have shown they will sacrifice their lives to protect students, and unlike Peterson,

will take action.

For example, beloved football coach Aaron Feis died shielding students from the gunfire.

Arming teachers and staff like Feis could save lives, others argue.

Further, if there aren�t any armed guards on school grounds, it can take several minutes

before law enforcement arrive on the scene.

By that point, many lives have already been lost.

Since the Gun-Free School Zones Act, signed into law in November of 1990, many have considered

schools to be �soft targets� for gunman.

That bill �prohibits any person from knowingly possessing a firearm � at a place the individual

knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.�

Arming teachers would make �gun-free zones� a thing of the past.

Trump told Fox News, �If they go into a school, a gun-free zone is like target practice

for these guys.

They see that and that�s what they want.

Gun-free zones are very dangerous.

The bad guys love gun-free zones.�

� At a press conference on February 19th, during the annual meeting of the American

Association for the Advancement of Science, Arizona State University psychologist Michael

Varnum presented new unpublished data with regard to Americans perception of meeting

extraterrestrials.

The results suggest, said Varnum, �If we find out we�re not alone, we�ll take the

news rather well.� �We would actually be pretty upbeat about it.�

� Varnum analyzed media coverage and public reaction to hypothetical revelations ranging

from the discovery of microbial life off planet, or that the interstellar object �Oumuamua�,

ie: the cigar shaped asteroid that recently traveled through our solar system, was in

fact an extraterrestrial spacecraft.

� Varnum�s results suggested that the individuals question believed that humanity

as a whole would react more positively than negatively to news of intelligent alien life.

Humans are fascinated by aliens.

Whether they�re chest-bursting assassins or cuddly childhood friends, pop culture is

awash with extraterrestrials.

Science, too, has been looking for little green men for years with the Search for Extra-Terrestrial

Intelligence (SETI) Institute and more recently with Breakthrough Listen.

But what would actually happen if we encountered alien life?

Would humans greet the news with pitchforks or embrace our extraterrestrial cousins?

A group of recent studies have suggested the latter.

If news broke of alien life, it seems humans would be cool with it.

Arizona State University psychologist Michael Varnum presented new unpublished data at a

press conference Friday during the AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science)

annual meeting.

�If we came face to face with life outside of Earth, we would actually be pretty upbeat

about it,� said Varnum at the press conference.

�So far, there�s been a lot of speculation about how we might respond to this kind of

news, but until now, almost no systematic empirical research.�

Interstellar Objects, Martian Microbes and Earth-Like Exoplanets

Varnum analyzed recent media coverage of the interstellar object �Oumuamua�first spotted

flying through our solar system in late 2017�for positive and negative emotions.

Specifically, Varnum was interested in the public�s response to reports that the visiting

asteroid might actually be an alien spaceship.

His results suggested humans would react more positively than negatively to news of intelligent

alien life.

These unpublished data build on recent evidence from Varnum and colleagues suggesting humans

would be happy about the discovery of alien microbes.

The results from three studies were recently published in Frontiers in Psychology.

Should Screenwriters Send Out PDF's Of Their Screenplays? by Shawn Christensen - Duration: 4:55.

Film Courage: How did you know the story [THE VANISHING OF SIDNEY HALL] was special or maybe

you didn't?

Shawn Christensen, Co-Writer/Director: I didn't.

We felt it was special because…I don't know because when you write a screenplay I

think you think it's special.

Whether or not it is special is kind of up to the…you know…Lords of the Future.

But we thought it was special…I guess because we enjoyed writing with each other and we

enjoyed the story we had built and we had some good plot twists and we liked the non-linear

structure and we had written…Jason [Dolan] had written four, five or six screenplays

at that point and I had written two.

And so when you get to your third script (your third feature script), trust me you've learned

a lot.

And I think us teaming up and his weaknesses and strengths and my weaknesses and strengths

really worked well together.

He's very good at things that I'm not and vice versa and so we liked it and we gave

it to ten of our friends.

Here's something that I would advise any screenwriter to do who is starting out.

You have a screenplay.

Don't send the PDF to a person and ask them to read it.

It's just…you're never going to get anything with that.

What you have to do is you have to make it a special thing.

What we did was we took ten friends, some in the industry, some not (we didn't know

many in the industry).

But friends that we trusted and thought they were smart.

And we said we have a hardcopy of a screenplay.

We'd like you to come over to…(we had an office that my co-writer was working for

someone with an office in Manhattan) and we would like you to come over to the office

if you wouldn't mind.

We're not going to stand over you like a funny farm and watch you read the pages or

whatever.

But we'd like you to read it and we'll walk away, we'll be gone for a couple of

hours.

You can write notes, whatever.

You can bash it, we don't care.

We just want like ten different peoples points-of-view.

So that's what we did.

We had ten people read it.

Like they couldn't leave with it, they couldn't take it, that way we know they're going

to read it.

And we're not going to stand over their shoulder and then we left the office and came

back and then we sit down with them and talk it out with them.

We took all of their notes.

We decided what we were feeling and sort of where the consensus notes were and then we

went right back to it and then two weeks later we had a script that we felt perhaps could

be given to people of note.

Film Courage: So you felt that in giving a PDF that is would just sit inbox and they

would maybe find a reason to say "Oh, you know what?

I'm so sorry, I'm really busy."

But by having them there, sitting them down with uninterrupted time, it was just a better

way to actually do it?

Shawn Christensen: You know, listen…that's a fact.

Think about it in terms of being on the other side of the coin.

If your friend sends a PDF (a hundred-page PDF) of something.

And maybe, by the way, you're not a screenwriter, you're like their friend, you don't really

read screenplays a lot.

It's a daunting task.

It's a task that…I don't know how to explain it.

You could be excited about reading a screenplay that comes into your inbox, but generally

speaking in the age we live in with emails and social media and all of these things for

people to get distracted by, to read your friend or your cousin's or your second cousin's

or your friend's brother's uncle's screenplay or whatever, we felt that no one is going

to read our script if we just send them a PDF of it.

Let's just set a time for them to read it, not be in the room when they read it but that

way they'll read it and then right after they read it we get their fresh, unfiltered,

you know…like feelings about the screenplay.

And then if we see things from like six out of the ten of them are saying this is no good,

well then we know (that this is something we've got to work on).

Here's a list of four black icons and the actors who

nailed their performances.

Malcolm X is one of the most influential and controversial figures

in African American history.

He's been played by a number of mega-talented actors since the 1970s

including James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman, and Mario Van Peebles.

But nobody does Malcolm quite like Denzel.

In 1992 Spike Lee made history with his biopic simply titled Malcolm X.

Denzel was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance and with good reason.

Critics almost universally praised his turn as the legendary black activist.

He changed the world with his work to end racial oppression,

and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

Martin Luther King Jr. is one of the most celebrated visionaries the world

has ever known.

He has been featured in film well over a dozen times since his death.

But the actor who reimagined the icon, and embodied the spirit and physicality

of MLK is David Oyelowo.

His performance in Ava DuVernay's SELMA won him critical acclaim

and a Golden Globe nomination.

Famously though, the film got almost entirely shut out of that year's Oscar race,

spurning the hashtag movement #OscarsSoWhite.

Anti-apartheid leader, political figure and former president of South Africa,

Nelson Mandela received more that 250 awards and honors including the Nobel Peace Prize.

We think it's a tie between Morgan Freeman in 2009's Invictus

and Idris Elba in Long Walk To Freedom.

Muhammad Ali wasn't only a hero in boxing.

He was a beacon of the civil rights movement, who proudly embraced his black identity

inside and outside the ring.

Not to be confused with the documentary about Ali called The Greatest,

there was also a narrative feature called The Greatest starring Muhammad Ali as himself.

Although Ali playing himself sounds hard to beat, Will Smith did an excellent job in Ali.

The movie covers the ten years in which Ali took the heavyweight

title from Sonny Liston in 1964 to his famous Rumble In The Jungle in 1974 with George Foreman.

Will Smith was nominated for an Oscar for the role.

We would be remiss if we didn't mention recent films like Hidden Figures

or The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks as wonderful representations of black female

historical figures.

But the fact is, women of color are still GROSSLY underrepresented in the mainstream

theatrical space.

Let's hope that changes soon.

How to Wash Your Face: Why You Should NOT Use Soap! - Duration: 3:05.

Hey! Christy here with Go See Christy Beauty Boutique and we're going to be

talking about the three main reasons why you should NOT use bar soap on your face,

and even preferably, not on your body. So, the first one is we naturally have

bacteria and yeast that live off our skin. When we use the bar soap, we're

typically using it with our hands. When we put it on our, or if we use it on your

body, the dead skin cells attach onto your bar soap. So, the yeast and the

bacteria grows on the soap because the bar soap usually stays moist. And because

it typically is an alkaline pH base, the bacteria and the yeast that get onto the

bar soap starts to grow. The other thing is, it is physically evident with my

clients who typically have Acne or Rosacea, when they use bar soap and they

re-apply it on their face, their existing conditions actually get WORSE. Second

reason is how the bar soap is stored. So, typically, if you leave it out in the

open on a soap dish to dry, all the pollutants, the dust and lint, and the

nasties of if you're brushing your teeth can get onto the soap. So, that's not

sanitary. If you decide to put it in a closed soap container to protect it, it

usually doesn't dry fast enough, so it stays moist. And because of that, and

you're using it daily, it starts to become a breeding ground for bacteria

and yeast. Okay, so you hear that soap can be "self-cleansing"... Not if you're

constantly adding the bacteria and yeast onto the soap. So, it's no longer sanitary.

So, yeah, it is a breeding ground for bacteria. That soap has now become a

petri dish for bacteria and yeast. And finally is, soap is alkaline, pH-wise. So,

it tends to strip the Acid Mantle from your skin, which can then dehydrate the

skin. Soap by its very nature leaves soap scum or film on the skin. Gross! So, what

do you do? STOP using soap! Use a Cleanser that is in a individual

dispenser so that the entire product is not oxidized or exposed to the air. And

it's more economical! Per serving, it is actually more economical to do

that because you can actually control how much that you use. And if you're

using an anti-oxidant soap, it is no longer anti-oxidant. Why? Because it is,

its oxidizing. The entire product is being exposed to air and anti-oxidants

are very, very sensitive to light, heat, air, and moisture. So, there you go. The

best thing to do is use a Facial Cleanser. Preferably one with the pump,

but if you can't get one with the pump, then actually the one that you could

actually individually dispense by pouring out. So, there you go. DON'T USE

SOAP.
