Universe as early as Captain Marvel in theory but I wouldn't expect to see

great as long as Marvel doesn't ruin Deadpool and doesn't ruin the x-men and

doesn't really fans before although Francis 4 hasn't been good just

because Marvel Studios has taken over these properties does not actually mean

that like Fantastic Four is gonna be amazing I mean I got into conversation

with someone on Twitter about this and they blocked me because I said what if

Marvel takes over Fantastic Four and it still sucks and they were like won't

happen ever well realistic Marvel doesn't always hit not every Marvel

movie is great you can't say every Marvel movie is great let me know guys

do you think Marvel's ever missed I mean if you go back and watch Iron Man II is

pretty bad along with other films not every magnet film hits so just cuz

Marvel taking over x-men take over Fantastic Four doesn't mean that they're

gonna be good I mean potentially that could be good because Marvel does have a

good track record but not every Marvel movie is good to guys the kind of

narrative for this story is that the merger could be done by early January

like that is insane which is months before Avengers 4 so could easily have a

cheeky camera roll we do know that Brad Pitt's kind of role in Deadpool 2 was a

last-minute thing The Invisible Man II litchi all's on the

screen for split second so anyone now could appear in ventures 4 so Avengers 4

x-men to appear confirmed maybe I don't know who do you love to see first this

tells us that now we could have anyone literally appear in the MCU as early as

Thana

Thana has a compelling ring to it, a seldom-heard kind of mysteriousness that sounds like it's

of Marvel's Thanos: Thana literally means "death."

The name is derived from Thanatos, an entity from Greek mythology who's both a neutral

nature spirit and a demonic representation of death.

If you still love the name, it's not all bad news: It also means "praise" in Arabic.

There's also a bit of cinema infamy associated with the name, as Thana was the avenging feminist

anti-heroine of Abel Ferrara's dark revenge flick Ms .45.

Actress Zoe Lund garnered widespread praise for her role, making Thana a favorite character

among cult classic films.

Bram

Though the name Bram is only a variation of Abraham and means nothing sinister in itself,

it's become permanently associated with Gothic horror over the years.

First and foremost, there's author Bram Stoker and Dracula to consider.

No one will be able to look at your little Bram without thinking of this famous father

of the modern vampire.

Less familiar - although no less creepy - is Ichabod Crane's rival in Washington Irving's

Popularized by actress Thora Birch of American Beauty and Ghost World fame, Thora is a Norse

name meaning "thunder goddess," and it's derived from the name of the male Norse god - and

Marvel character - Thor.

It might refer to one of the sky's most violent phenomenons, but it's also proof that a dark,

powerful name isn't always a bad thing.

It's a wonderful, nature-inspired name, and if you want something even a little more unique,

it has Norwegian, Icelandic, Danish, and Swedish variations.

If you're going to name your baby girl after a goddess, why not choose a strong one who

represents one of Mother Nature's most exhilarating displays of power?

Samael

Samael sounds like a really cool name, but any parent thinking about giving this name

to their bouncing bundle of joy should probably be aware that it actually means "demon."

Samael serves different roles in different religions, but the name is associated with

fallen angels, a demonic creature, and is sometimes said to be the true name of Satan.

That's a lot of baggage, but most people probably aren't going to know any of this and might

just think the name is a version of Samuel.

Does the coolness of the name outweigh the history?

Mara

This lovely Hebrew name is unique and saw a boost in popularity thanks to actress Mara

Wilson, but it has a rather ominous meaning: "bitter."

Mara is a Biblical name from the Book of Ruth, used when Naomi renounced her original name

after tragedy.

Heartbroken after the deaths of her husband and sons, she declared that in deference to

her perpetual sorrow and bitterness, she wanted to be known as "Mara."

Moreover, Mara is also the goddess of death in Hinduism, and a demonic entity in Buddhism.

In Sanskrit, the word literally means "death"... so, there's that to consider.

But take heart: Mara is still a beautiful name, and your baby girl is certainly going

to be an angel, rather than a vengeful entity from the depths.

Probably.

Deyanira

Lovely as it may be, Deyanira is a name that hails from one the epic tragedies of Greek

mythologies, and her name translates to "man-destroyer."

That man happened to be her husband, Hercules, and according to Greek lore, the centaur Nessus

gave Deyanira a shirt soaked with the blood of a poisonous Hydra.

Nessus told her that if her husband were ever unfaithful to her, or fell in love with another

woman, that she should give him the garment to wear.

Years later, Hercules did indeed fall in love with another.

Deyanira gave him the shirt, which he could not take off, and it burned so badly he threw

himself on top of a funeral pyre.

This is the stuff great stories are made of, and if you can look past these dark mythological

tales, it's truly a beautiful name.

After being inspired by the world of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV.

An indie developer known as Bing Yang decided to create a demo using the Unreal Engine.

And a couple of years later, the publicly released demo caught the eye of Epic Games

and Sony, who both contacted Yang asking if he was interested in working together in developing

this project further.

That demo is today officially known under the name of: ''Lost Soul Aside.''

As of right now, we don't know a whole lot about the project aside from what we've seen

in the trailers and read in interviews.

But to be frank, if you take one look at the trailers, you'll really find that they speak

for themselves.

Not only does it look incredibly smooth but it also looks fast-paced and thrilling.

The character designs look great and the little flashes of environment that we've been shown

look stunning.

But with the all of the talk about the game essentially being a ''Final Fantasy and Devil

May Cry lovechild,'' the expectations have been placed very high.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not here to try and rain on anyone's parade or make anyone less

excited about the project because trust me - I'm excited too!

But although I do think it's great that we support the project and hype it up, there

are a couple of points that I think are important that we talk about.

Because with a project like this, it's important that we're on the same page.

Not in the sense to bring anyone's expectations down but rather to ground people a little

bit, while still emphasizing why this project deserves the support.

The first point being that we can't forget that Lost Soul Aside, although picked up by

Sony and Epic games, is by no means a triple A title and that it will not receive such

treatment in development.

Just because Yang was offered to work together with them doesn't mean that Lost Soul Aside

is going to be Sony's next big project to pour endless amounts of cash into.

That spot is definitely already taken.

When people throw around titles like Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and Ninja

Gaiden, it's often to refer to the spirit, mechanics or overall atmosphere of the game,

not in comparing the them in terms of scale or saying that Lost Soul Aside will be the

next huge action RPG franchise.

Lost Soul Aside is much more accurately described as a younger sibling to the previously mentioned titles.

The second point is that what it means for a project like Lost Soul Aside to get picked

up by Sony is that they're going to help forge Lost Soul Aside into an actual game, as opposed

to being just a demo.

Because albeit incredibly impressive of Yang to create the demo for Lost Soul Aside all

by himself, creating ''just'' a demo is very different from creating an entire game.

Just like how creating a sketch is very different to creating a full-blown painting.

But regardless of if a game isn't the longest of experiences, it still takes a team of developers

to work on it.

Not to mention the fact that he needs someone to both publish and market the game.

No one can just sit on their butt and wish their game into existence by sheer force of

will.

Creating games takes dedication and based on the demo we've seen, we know that Yang

has loads of it.

Not to mention creativity and a bright imagination.

And the third point is that - No, Lost Soul Aside will most likely not be the next epic

60 hour cinematic adventure.

But the people that Lost Soul Aside appeals the most to, most likely don't mind.

I've seen Lost Soul Aside's gameplay be compared to several other titles like Metal Gear

Rising, Devil May Cry and even Nier: Automata.

And what do these games have in common?

Although they're not the longest of games, they're all intense, action-filled experiences

that keep you on the edge of your seat.

If I had to make a estimate at this point in time based on the information that we have

about the game so far, my best guess would be that the game will probably be around 5 to 6 hours long.

Which is about the same length as Metal Gear Rising.

So if you're setting yourself up thinking that Lost Soul Aside is going to be the next

super mega epic dramatic adventure game, maybe slow your roll a little bit.

Of course, no one is saying that that's not a possibility but at this point in time, that

is definitely not how the game is being marketed.

We do know that the game does have a story and we do know that it has exploration in

it to some degree.

As of right now however it's hard to say how heavy the focus on the story, characters and

exploration will be, considering we haven't seen or heard a lot about it.

But we do know for a fact that the game does have a world to it and that it's more complicated

than just a boss rush.

Exactly how much more complicated is hard to say though.

I understand that right now, it might seem like I'm not excited or that I'm trying to

bring the hype down but I can assure you that's definitely not the case.

All I want is for us to be on the same page here and think about this realistically.

A lot of people are trying to dampen the hype for this game by saying that it won't be good

due to the fact that it doesn't have a large amount of people working on it.

As of right now, the development team is very small and is only made up of about

ten people but that does not mean that the finished product won't be good.

Just take a look at the demo; if one person on the current team was able to create something

that impressive, there's no need for a massively huge team to work on it.

If all ten of those people are as ambitious as Yang himself, there's no telling where

the game will go.

And look at games like Half-Life, Alan Wake and even Cuphead. They were made by notoriously

small development teams as well and look at them now.

One thing that I've seen Yang mention in several interviews is something that I find makes

him very intriguing as a developer, it is the fact that he often mentions that he himself

is a big fan of action games and that he wants to create a game that he would want to play

as a consumer.

Which means he's very in-touch with what feels good and what doesn't as a player and a fan

of hack and slash games.

Instead of being someone who distances themselves from the audience that is going to partake

in what he's creating, he himself knows what feels right; and that is something that is

incredibly important besides being a good developer.

He's taking the ideas and concepts that he's enjoyed and found interesting as a fan and

putting his own spin on them.

Which sounds just a like a childhood dream to me.

Just imagine getting to sew the favorite pieces of your favorite games together to

make something new!

I think that idea has probably crossed most people's mind at least once in their life, and this

is a literal dream project in the making.

So all in all, am I saying that you should go and buy this game when it comes out no questions

asked just slam your money down on the counter and go?

No, not exactly.

But I do want help in putting this game on people's radar because based on what we've

seen so far, it definitely deserves the attention.

We still have too little to go on when it comes to discussing a release date or a more realistic take on the length of the game

but hopefully, by trying to spread the word about this title, we'll be able to

see more creative and fun titles like this in the future.

As someone who is a huge fan of hack and slash games, yet also loves the atmosphere and aesthetic

of Final Fantasy XV, this game seems like a project that is completely tailored to me.

It's quite literally the best of both worlds.

So I'm really not trying to say ''don't get hype,'' but I also want to ask of you to be

realistic and see the bigger picture.

If the first release of Lost Soul Aside ends up being a huge hit, who is to say it won't

become the next big thing?

So what we, as consumers, need to do is to ground ourselves a little bit, all while still

being excited.

I, for one, cannot wait to see what this developer will be able to create in the future.

The story of Wish-Ender. Destiny 2 Forsaken Lore | Myelin Games - Duration: 12:58.

Sjur Eido's fury and grief whetted themselves against Mara's thoughtless grace and ancient

beauty, until at last her heart unseamed itself and spilled its hot blood in a shout. "Mara

Sov!" I cannot live while you live."

Welcome back guardians. In today's video we are going to try and understand what happened

to Sjur. Sjur was the first Queen's Wrath who we encounter in Mara's Sov ascendant

realm as a statue. The statue of Sjur rewards us the exotic bow, Wish Ender. Sjur's story

is linked with the creation of the Awoken, the hunting of the Ahamkara and her disappearance

is potentially linked the Nine.

Crucial aspects of Sjur's story can be found in the Pilgrimage patrol missions in the dreaming

city. Completing these missions provides a random lore dialogue line, similar to that

of a ghost scan from Destiny 1. A big thank you to Lowlines on Twitter who has documented

[INTRO]

Before I explain what happened to Sjur, I want to give a very brief rundown of her backstory.

Her backstory is explained in the Lore books, Marasenna and The Awoken of the Reef. For

extra details see my video on how the Queen became Awoken, and also the Nine. How the

Nine originated from the same people as the Awoken may also be important for later. If

you have read the entire Marasenna book and the Awoken of the Reef book you can skip ahead

to the time on screen [TIME], otherwise stay tuned for a brief summary.

Mara Sov created the original Awoken Homeland (not the Dreaming City) by throwing herself

into a Black Hole created by the collision of Darkness and Light during the collapse.

The planet she created existed within a pocket universe of our own. The Awoken lived in relative

peace upon this planet until a group emerged known as the Eccaleist. This group proclaimed

that the Awoken, who were born from both Light and Dark, owed a debt to the Universe and

someday they would have to repay this debt. Oppositely, the reigning monarch proclaims

that the birth of the Awoken was a gift and that they owe nothing to universe. The differences

in philosophies stems from the Awoken not really knowing how they were created.

These different theories about the birth of the Awoken led to the Theodisy War, where

many Awoken were killed. It is later revealed that Mara Sov started this War by fabricating

the different philosophies and encouraging the Awoken to question their existence and

potential debt that they owed the Universe. Mara Sov wanted the Awoken to feel uneasy

within their paradise world, because she wanted to lead the Awoken back to our universe. If

the Awoken did not feel like they owed a debt to the Universe they would never leave their

paradise home. Eventually, Mara Sov led tens of thousands of Awoken back to our universe

by once again traveling through a black hole.

So, Sjur is first introduced as an Awoken on the original Awoken home planet who is

looking to assassinate Mara Sov. Sjur wants to assassinate Mara Sov because Sjur's previous

leader, Diasyrm disappeared after meeting with Mara. Diasyrm was a leader of the Eccaleist,

the group that believed that the Awoken owed a debt to the Universe.

However, rather than assassinate Mara Sov, Sjur suggests that she fights Mara's champion.

It is not really explained why Sjur has this change in heart and cannot bear to kill Mara

Sov, it just says that Sjur cannot bear to kill Mara's ancient beauty, and I believe

this feeds into the mystery of Mara Sov. Mara Sov was the first Awoken, and so the oldest

of the Awoken, and Mara also intentionally separates herself from the Awoken cities on

their homeplanet, isolating herself to the mountains to help create this image of mystery

and power.

So, Mara selects her champion, which is Prince Uldren, and Sjur and Prince Uldren compete

in a number of battles of skill. In the end it is draw and Sjur says this to Mara Sov.

On the tarmac, Sjur Eido threw off her helmet and parachute and knelt before Mara Sov. "My

lady," she said, "as I have fought your brother to a tie, I leave my fate in your hands. Be

more kind to me than you were to my lady the Diasyrm."

"Rise, Sjur Eido," said Mara. "Let us take the stars together."

From this point, Sjur becomes Mara's most trusted bodyguard and she would later be declared

the first of the Queen's Wrath. Sjur followed Mara Sov and the other tens of thousands of

Awoken back into our Universe. At some point, Sjur and Mara Sov also fell in love.

Now lets move onto what happened to Sjur and what the statue in the ascendant realm is

about. [AD]. Firslty, the exotic bow received from the statue is Sjur's bow called Wish-ender

and it is called Wish-ender for a very good reason. It appears that Sjur was very good

at hunting and destroying the Ahamkara. Ahamkara were known as Wish Dragons, and hence, Wish

Ender, ended their lives, ended the wishes. Have a list to this Pilgrimage patrol mission.

"Ah… This is where Eao liked to rest, before Sjur hunted him down and skewered him

for his deceit. One of your Warlocks bartered for his corpse and traded away his bones.

Another mistake. You must never scatter the bones."

This lore suggests that Sjur hunted down the Ahamkara Eao, however the bones were given

away to a Warlock, which was then traded. This may infact be the origin story for the

creation of the Hunter exotic boots, Bones of Eao. It seems that Sjur was quite skilled

at destroying Ahamkara. Have a listen to this other Pilgrimage scan.

"This chamber was refashioned in honor of Sjur Eido, the first Queen's Wrath, when

she was found dead. She was a fearsome warrior in her own right – the only Awoken to ever

survive an Aphelion Attack, and a skilled hunter of traitorous Ahamkara"

So, firstly, when you wield Wish-ender, know that it has likely killed many dragons at

the hands of Sjur. So what happened to Sjur? It appears that Sjur went on what she would

call a standard mission and disappeared. The flavor text for the Wish-Ender bows reads,

"Don't fret. It's a simple expedition. We'll be back before lunch." —Sjur Eido, First

Queen's Wrath The lore tab for Wish Ender then ends with,

Sjur Eido swore with revelation righteous fury betrayedbetrayedbetrayedbetrayedbetrayedbetrayedbetrayedbetrayed

swore an oath to rise again. Sjur Eido drew loosed dr–

Fell. l o s t

The way "lost" is written and how "betrayed" is repeated without any spaces, is very similar

to how the Nine speak in Trials of the Nine lore tabs. So this may be the first clue that

Sjur disappearance is related to the Nine. Remember that Sjur in her last moment swore

an oath to rise again. So now, we can read the lore tab for Oathkeeper. It reads,

"I have not yet met my true death." —Sjur Eido, First Queen's Wrath

"This was on her body, Your Grace." A strange coin lay at the center of Abra's

outstretched palm. Mara took it between thumb and forefinger and held up it to the cosmos

with dainty contempt. Weregild, she thought. Powerful grief filled

her chest, as thick and caustic and heavy as unset concrete.

"And her bow?" "Gone."

"Huginn? Muninn?" "The Ahamkara are dead, and their bones are

silent. But Petra Venj has—" So Paladin Abra Zire, found a strange coin

with Sjur's body, obviously most people will instantly think of strange coins from

Destiny 1, the currency for Xur, Agent of the Nine. Secondly, Mara calls the strange

coin a Weregild. The definition of Weregild is,

"also known as man price, was a value placed on every being and piece of property, for

example in the Frankish Salic Code. If property was stolen, or someone was injured or killed,

the guilty person would have to pay weregild as restitution to the victim's family or to

the owner of the property."

So mara Sov is saying whoever killed Sjur provided weregild, i.e. they gave a strange

coin as payment, as compensation to the Awoken for killing her. The implication is, who would

pay with Strange Coins, we would assume the Nine.

Now, here is where things get confusing. Why is Sjur still speaking to us in mara's Ascendant

realm. Firstly, Mara created the statue in her ascendant realm after Sjur was found dead.

In order to get the Wish Ender bow, we have to enter the ascendant realm and kill three

taken enemies, these enemies are described as the sworn enemies of Sjur. This suggest

that the Nine did not kill Sjur but the Hive did, or more specifically whoever controls

the Taken. Of course, at this stage we believe Savathun to currently control the Taken, the

cunning sister of Oryx.

This is not the only evidence that suggests Sjur's death is related to the Hive, as

Sjur also says this, I have not yet met my true death." -Sjur

Eido

This is a very hive thing to say, a true death for the Hive is to be killed in their throne

world, if they are not killed in their throne world, they do not truly die. So this may

be a hint to the Hive, or it may also indicate that like Mara Sov, Sjur has her own throne

world, it would make sense considering her and Mara Sov were in love. Maybe this is what

Sjur means when she says she has not met her true death.

The last thing that links Sjur to the Hive, is what Toland says about Sjur, Toland says

this,

"Sjur will undo her death if you give her half a chance" – Toland

Undo her death is literally a quote from destiny 1, when Omnigul returned, Omnigul undid her

death. So is this another reference to Sjur having a throne world like Mara Sov.

So, how do we account for all of this informaiton, some information pointing to the Nine, some

information point to the Hive or Savathun more specifically. This is my theory. Sjur

has been killed or taken by Savathun, leaving her body behind, but Sjur soul roaming the

ascendant realm, similar to Toland. I speculate the reason why Sjur's physical body was

found with a strange coin, was it is Savathun, the sister of trickery, the sister of cunning,

killing the Queen's lover and blaming it on the Nine, by planting a strange coing,

would be a great way to cause a war between the Awoken and the Nine.

That concludes this latest Destiny 2 lore episode. If you would like to support the

is Princess Leia liberal or conservative? As one of the most popular female

characters in all of cinematic history I think it would be interesting to find

out what ideology this princess conveys to her adoring fans? Star Wars has become

as much a part of our culture as the American flag itself. Since its debut in

1977, the cinematic phenomenon ushered in the modern era of the summer blockbuster

and has created a whole universe of merchandising. Merchandising,

merchandising! Where they're real money from the movie is made. Star Wars

introduced us to many beloved characters but there was one character that stood

out amongst the group as the most popular, and will do his video another

time but for now we're gonna focus on one of the other most popular characters.

Thanks to great performances by the late Carrie Fisher Princess Leia has been and

will continue to be widely considered one of the best movie characters of all

time. Leia's influence on young girls and women everywhere was nothing short of

extraordinary and also gave fanboys a girl to admire

rather than just fawn over, but rest assured they still did that anyway. What!?

Since her impact on our culture cannot go without notice and as a character

with a diplomatic title ,I think it's important if we find out if Princess

Leia is actually more liberal or more conservative? To be clear I'm focusing

strictly on the ideology of the characters so I'm not going to be

discussing anything political here so for anybody out there who wants to pick

a political fight all I can say is I don't know who you are

where you came from, but from now on you do as I tell you okay? To assess a character's

ideology we're gonna be focusing on three key elements which is personality,

motive, and arc. Now I am aware that there are novels, cartoon shows, and a

whole bunch of other mediums that involve Princess Leia in the Star Wars

universe but to simplify this I'm gonna be focusing strictly on the feature

films that feature Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, and just like that I

probably ticked off half the Star Wars fans for ignoring the holiday special.

Personality. Princess Leia is a woman of royalty who has a habit of making fun of

those around her. I recognized your a foul stench when I

was brought on board. Will somebody get this big walking carpet out of my way? Aren't you a little short for

a stormtrooper? Her snarky attitude gives her an edge over her enemies but it also makes

her irresistible to some of the male heroes. He's my brother. Our thoughts exactly,

Han, our thoughts exactly. Her teasing and developing relationship

with Han Solo makes her a female character that is for once not only

focused on love but mostly on her duty. She acts like a leader throughout the

films because she gives commanding orders to the rebellion which earns the

respect of those around her. I guess you could say this makes her a force to be

reckoned with... As a princess she conveys both beauty and elegance in her presence

but she is also responsible for inspiring some of the ugliest hair bun

styles for women everywhere. Now I know it's only for fun but, ladies, unless

you're dating a hardcore fan boy, this is not your best look. Why you stuck-up

half-witted scruffy-looking nerf-herder! Leia broke new ground as a princess

because she refused to be the damsel in distress and with unique appearance and

presence that inspired millions, I'm gonna say that her personality is a

little more liberal. Motive. As a leader and later general of the rebellion Leia

is motivated to stand up against the evil forces of the universe. Her efforts

in taking down the Empire and the First Order are grounded in a good moral

structure of right and wrong, but to be fair it's really easy to tell that

you're on the right side of things when the other side is called the dark side.

As for her personal life Leia is motivated to help those closest to her

especially her brother Luke and her love interest Han Solo. She finds a

willingness to run into risky situations in order to save them and when it comes

to her son Kylo Ren, let's just say we're still not sure if she's gonna win mother

of the year?

Undoubtedly she stands as a symbol of hope to those around her because she

acts as such a prominent force. I did it again!

Leia's motives seem to be pretty simple, she wants to stop evil empires from

tyrannical rule and protect those she loves, based on that I'm gonna say that

her motive is a little more conservative. Arc. During the decades long run of the

series, Princess Leia has appeared in five of the Star Wars films to date.

That's if you don't include that digital cameo from Rogue One but guys I don't

know what that is? When we first meet her in the original Star Wars she is

Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan, a key member of the rebellion against the

Empire. Now in the later films along with her newly discovered brother Luke

Skywalker, she learns that she actually has a connection to the mystical powers

of the force, which she actually doesn't use that often unless it's turning ships

around or turning back to a ship. Throughout the subsequent films she

keeps fighting with the rebels and eventually gets the title of General

Organa when we meet her in The Force Awakens. Now that means that a lot of her

motives have stayed exactly the same throughout the series but there's no

denying that it seems like everything else has changed. Everything from her

appearance, to her abilities with a force, her relationship with Han Solo, her

family's lineage, and eventually her parental status. Now given that amount of

character arc, I'm gonna say that it's more liberal. And that's it with a final

score of two to one I'm gonna say that Princess Leia is indeed more liberal.

When you look at how much she changed our culture, I think this ideology does

fit her well, but does anybody ever talk about how she has a really messed up

relationship with all the men in her life?

I mean her boyfriend comes and goes, she makes out with her brother, she fights

her father's Empire half her life, and eventually ends up fighting her

homicidal son.

Geez, I mean thank God Obi-Wan is normal. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.
