Waching daily Oct 11 2018

- Since we're going there... / - He's not working again.

- Patients are waiting for him. / - No, that's not true.

I was doing that during my spare time.

I don't think that's true.

I think it will be okay if we ate ramen.

Yuna doesn't like ramen or instant noodles that much.

But we have a unique memory...

About ramen.

I think it will be okay...

If we ate ramen for one meal...

For my own personal desire.

A course for you? That's dangerous.

My wife doesn't like ramen.

But you went to a place where they only sold ramen?

- Yes. / - He likes that kind of food.

(Man Man Tour, 1 of the 3 best ramens in Hokkaido)

- It's quite far. / - Yes, it's far.

It was a little distant from where we were.

The distance is quite far.

(Darkness has come to Asahikawa already)

Asahikawa is the second biggest city in Hokkaido

after Sapporo.

That's why this place...

- Is getting popular. / - That's right.

I saw that there was a...

- JR line here in Asahikawa. / - Yes, it's here.

- We could come here by the JR Train... / - Right.

- From Sapporo. / - Right.

- It's nice. / - It's perfect.

- It feels so nice... / - Yes.

(The chilly weather reminds you of warm soup)

Since it's raining.

- I like it better this way. / - Yes.

It's raining. This is the place.

- Is this the place? / - That's right.

It has 70 years of tradition.

I'm really looking forward to it.

- Let's go inside. / - Okay.

- Let's go inside. / - Let's go inside.

Excuse me.

Yes.

- Hello. / - Hello.

That place must be delicious.

- This place was really delicious. / - Sikyung knows...

- When he sees the entrance. / - I know.

(A meal of ramen for Hyungkyu)

(The noodles are so firm, it can't be compared)

(This place has a special secret broth)

(1 of the 3 best ramens, Asahikawa ramen)

What's the signature dish?

That's why I brought a comic book...

- About ramen. / - Can't we order first?

We have to see this before we order.

- He's starting again. / - We have to see this.

- They're going to fight here. / - We have to see this.

We have to see this.

(Why did he take out a comic book suddenly?)

Let's see.

(Hyungkyu's study, before departure)

- There are so many comic books. / - That's right.

This is a very important book.

- "What is Ramen?" / - What kind of book is that?

- There is. / - That's so interesting.

It's a comic book about ramen.

It has a lot of good information.

I really should take it with me.

- If you see here... / - Yes.

(What are the 3 best ramens in Hokkaido?)

There are three best ramens...

- In Hokkaido. / - Yes, there are three best ramens.

Miso ramen in Sapporo.

Shio ramen in Hakodate,

and shoyu ramen in Asahikawa.

These 3 ramen are

the 3 best ramen in Hokkaido.

They also have shoyu ramen.

- Let's order that. / - That's famous.

- Is that famous there? / - Yes.

- I did some research. / - Yes.

There's a point to focus...

On this Asahikawa ramen.

If you see here...

Can't we order first and talk while they cook?

Can't you order quickly?

Yuna should have made a fuss.

It tastes better when you do this.

Can't we order first and talk while they cook?

- Okay. / - My stomach is making sounds.

I'll order shoyu ramen.

- Should we order one each? / - That sounds nice.

Shoyu ramen and shio ramen.

- Shio ramen? / - Yes.

- Is he cooking in front of you? / - Yes.

Is that the kitchen?

Asahikawa shoyu ramen...

Doesn't have one type of broth.

- They don't use just one ingredient. / - Right.

They mix meat broth and seafood broth...

- And make it. / - Do they use double ingredients?

In other words,

it's a combination of meat and seafood.

- It's like the combination of us. / - That's right.

- The noodles are important. / - You have to slurp it up.

They make the noodles by hand there.

- With two types of broth... / - And soy sauce.

They use meat and seafood like for Jinju cold noodles.

- That looks good. / - It was really good.

(He smacks his lips)

(Shoyu ramen, $7.70)

(Shio ramen, $7.70)

Usually, there's 30% moisture in noodles

but they have less than 20% here, so it's chewy

and the broth is absorbed by the noodles.

- Thank you for the food. / - Thank you for the food.

- I'm going to try the soup first. / - That's right.

(You should try the soup first when you eat ramen)

It has a really refreshing taste.

(Refreshed)

- The weather is a little chilly... / - It suits the weather?

Because of the rain.

It would be perfect for a hangover cure.

This one is good.

- This one is good. / - Yes.

I heard that there was a secret method to the broth.

(Shoyu ramen is the best dish)

They made the soup with seafood broth,

pork broth and pork fat.

It has a deep taste.

They must have done a lot of research.

- Let's try the noodles now. / - But...

- I'm going to try the noodles. / - Okay.

(Slurping)

(I can't believe this taste)

The flavor has depth.

- The noodles are also delicious. / - Yes.

(He sucks it in without even breathing)

- It was really good. / - I'm hungry.

- Shall I make some instant noodles? / - Yes.

You're saying that the noodles are firm, right?

- That's not enough to explain it. / - It's bouncy.

- Is it bouncy? / - Yes, it's bouncy.

Noodles should be chewy.

You can only eat those noodles...

- When you're there, right? / - You're right.

- It's raw noodles. / - You can't imitate that.

It has great texture.

Is it good?

- It's really good. / - Thank you.

It's really good.

(They're really into it)

Isn't it delicious?

Hokkaido, Asahikawa shoyu ramen.

They put meat and seafood broth

and added fat from meat.

- Is that in Korean? / - They understood.

Bravo.

(What's he doing?)

- They're saying different things. / - That's too much.

(Did he understand?)

I got complimented because of a comic book.

It wasn't a waste to bring the comics.

I'm going to eat again.

I thought you didn't like it.

This was either the best or second best ramen...

- I ever had in my life. / - Is this the best again?

It's really good.

Why did they experience so many bests?

- This is interesting. / - Yes?

When we eat noodles in Korea,

we learn that it's rude...

- To make slurping noises. / - Yes.

But in Japan,

you have to make sounds when you eat noodles

to express how good it is.

- You're doing a good job. / - You're doing well too.

- Is it good to make sounds in Japan? / - Yes.

(The standard of the standard)

We did a lot of non-daily experiences today.

How is this restaurant objectively?

Don't make me talk right now.

He said, "Don't make me talk."

This is the last.

(He takes the last sip)

- Put it on your head. / - Goodness.

(Just like Sikyung did)

(He takes the last sip)

The soup...

He finished to the last drop.

After I finished it...

- "Gratitude" was written on it. / - It does.

You can only see that if you eat everything.

- It's not salty. / - No.

- This is different. / - Yes.

It's different from other ramen.

Stop showing us. What is this?

I'm having a hard time because I'm drooling.

(It's as if his salivary gland is broken)

The Man Man Tour is really something.

It's a culinary tour.

That was great. Thanks to you, I had a great ramen.

- Thank you. / - Thank you.

- See? The sign looks delicious. / - Does it?

- The sign looks tasty. / - Yes, the sign does.

How do you know just by looking at the sign?

- Alright. / - Before we go back to the hotel...

Since we ate a lot,

shall we take a walk?

- What do you think? / - Are we going for a walk?

Are we going to one more place?

Well, you know...

You're acting really suspicious.

- It's a surprise. / - She got you.

- She noticed. / - Goodness.

- I guess he hasn't done it a lot. / - He's unskilled.

(Toward the end of their Hokkaido trip)

(The final destination of this trip is Asahikawa River)

Where is this? It looks so nice.

We're at a riverside where you can see

the Asahikawa bridge, which represents the area.

(It's a quiet parking lot where they can be alone)

- Riverside. / - It's so...

- It's wide open. / - It's nice.

Exactly. It's...

If the weather was nice,

I was going to take you to a place

where we can see the stars.

- But it rained today. / - I see.

- Why see the stars so suddenly? / - Well, you know.

Hyungkyu prepared something. Goodness.

- This reminds me of the Hangang. / - Exactly.

- We had dates there. / - We did.

- At night, after my radio show... / - It wasn't the radio.

- After the show... / - Yes.

- We'd meet at Hangang. / - Yes, we did.

- Then go home. / - We did.

- So about that... / - Yes.

Why isn't he giving her the gift?

(Hyungkyu opens the trunk carefully)

(Goodness)

- He prepared something. / - No.

Awesome.

What is it?

Ta-da.

(Her eyes are wide open)

- What's this? / - This is...

(Hyungkyu turns the light on)

- Gosh. / - What is it?

He prepared something cute.

(The trunk is full of their memories)

- When did you prepare this? / - Pictures?

I printed some pictures.

That's fantastic.

(Their memories from their old trips)

(And the new memories from this trip)

Thank you.

(Before they departed from the ramen place)

- I'll go use the bathroom. / - Okay.

(While she's waiting for Hyungkyu)

You did it then.

I have to decorate.

(He prepared a small event)

She didn't know that was in the car?

She didn't know because it was in the back.

You wouldn't look there.

Gosh, he's taking it again.

He loves taking photos.

- He loves taking pictures. / - Yes.

What should I do?

- What do we do? Here? / - Let's go in.

- Should I take my shoes off? / - No, keep them on.

- Go in like this. / - I'm so touched.

- It's like they're playing house. / - But she likes it.

(Yuna claps because she's embarrassed)

- What do you think? Isn't this fun? / - It's so cozy.

- It's a lot of fun. / - I feel like a kid.

We don't like surprises.

So even on our wedding anniversary...

We just go out to eat.

That's what we normally do.

Thinking that he put up all the pictures

and lights...

I found him really cute.

- Awesome, right? / - Look at this.

What's this picture?

These are our old pictures.

These are...

- From this trip. / - This is from yesterday.

- This is Sapporo. / - Yes.

Goodness. This is Sapporo.

It's nice to have the old and the new pictures

together.

- Yes. That's very pretty. / - That's early 2007.

- Early 2007. / - We went on a trip...

- With our parents. / - Right.

- That's why we went there... / - This one.

- Yesterday. / - That's why we took this.

- Here. / - It's fun.

Even though we don't have the same composition...

- But it feels the same. / - It's nice.

Yes, that's nice.

You can go back on your 20th anniversary.

- Yes. / - That's right.

Like I mentioned before...

This trip was so great...

And also it was a different experience.

I thought it was weird because

we haven't been on a trip together...

- In over 10 years. / - Over 10 years.

This was the first time...

- After Minjae was born. / - Right.

We drove and talked

for an hour and a half to two hours.

I think this trip will be...

- A very memorable one. / - Right.

From now on, Man Man Tour...

Yes, Man Man Tour. Can we do this often?

Yes. For all our lives.

- That's good. / - We'll do it.

- Let's do well. Let's go. / - Let's do it.

(A trip with a partner like a friend and like a lover)

ALASKA PATAGONIE : ÉPISODE 10 - La Colombie - Duration: 10:09.

Once we step Colombia

we understand straight way what's it all about

It's colorful, it's noisy

it's active and it's truly beautiful

After a week of strong cycling through Caribbean's plain

We finally made it to Puerto Valdivia

This is the front door to the Andes

just ahead of us, on the other side of the bridge

This will be our first « big » ascent in the Andes

By the way, it is 6:22am

if we don't look great on tape

It's because it's early

Right here, we go through this bridge above the Cauca river

And we are facing an ascent of more than 65 km

We go from the sea level

And we climb up to 3000 m elevation

Alaska Patagonia adventure

the tough part begins now

We won't film while going uphill

as it means we should stop

And that's not doable

Sometimes we feel lucky !

Colombia is a country with a lot

of cultural, geographic and human diversity

There are african descendants

descendants from settlers

from natives, it's beautiful to see this mix of people

There's everything

Climate variety is also very strong

In between high elevations

valley-ends

plateau from the interior

the few altiplanos we already cycled

There is a great variety of climate

Human being has to adapt his culture to it

When we talk about Colombia, obviously we think about Coffee

We've crossed a region called « Eje Cafetero »

this is the main coffee production area

We got very interested by this subject

And so, we went to meet a family who's producing coffee

they told us everything about it

My name is Maria Rosario Arenas

I live in Monteredondo

Aguadas, Caldas

My name is Mario Alexander Arenas

I have been working here for 6 years

I love working here because, first of all

I stand by my family

close to my mother

I really love working the land

take care of the plants

We live thanks to those

Air

bird's song

everything is good in the farm

Isn't it paradise to work here ?

Yes ! Let's find a spot were to plant this one, all right ?

Down there

We stand in a temperate climate

This is not too cold

not too warm

It is temperate

and this is marvelous for coffee

This is the right process to plant coffee

And then, it grows, look at this flower

Then, it is transforming into a bean

Like this

Where ?

Look

Here

And then it grows

How many month after planting…

About 18/20 months

To harvest it ?

Yes, to reach this growing state, look

Like on this branch

Those beans are ready

When it's red, it's ripe ?

Yes, when it's like this, we can harvest it

Look

Coffee price is very low

It is not enough for us to cover the production's costs

We currently sell our coffee to Nespresso

But, to be fair, it is not worth it

We have to spend 800 000 pesos to produce a coffe « carga »

whenever the brand buy it

700 000 pesos

A « carga » is 120 kilos

We lose between a 150 000 and 200 000 pesos

per « carga »

We've heared that Colombian coffee is one of the best in the world

It should be sold at least a million pesos

for one could say

this is a fair price

But it is now sold 700 000

The problem that Maria Rosario is underlining

is that coffee is listed on the stock exchange

It is fluctuating according to stock exchange

Now, coffee prices are running very low

which makes the situation even more complicated for families who are living out of coffee production

We decided to send an e-mail to NESPRESSO to know a bit more about this case

to also know what's on their mind about it

They answered us, here's part of what they say

We let you have your own point of view about this situation

which is sadly a redundant case around the world for a lot of topics

We could talk about globalization, capitalism, each one will make its opinion

For us, we keep on going even if it isn't easy on the way south

Sophie's taking the lead

Nope, she's stopping

I am sick

Jérémy just ate a garlic as prevention

I'm about to do the exact same thing

I can't feel my tongue anymore

Chew it chew it !

Show it to the audience

There you go

Do not put the hand

You are not allowed to suffer

Swallow !

Swallow ! Swallow !

This is granny remedy

Holy cow !

If someday you sick, tummy sick

Eat a garlic

That will cure absolutely everything

You can be sure about it

This is a huge truck carrying sugar cane

Danger

Vehicle

Extra-large

It has the merit of being clear

It might be more than 50m long

We are 90km far from the Equador border cross

It means that soon, we will have cross the Northern hemisphere of planet Earth

See you in a month !

LinkedIn Profile Tips to Unleash Your Amazing Influence - Duration: 9:58.

Hi everybody, this is Tammy Ebright and I'm here today with my special guest

Burton Kelso. Hey Tammy, how are you? I'm fabulous Burton. How are you? I'm doing great. Yeah live with you. This is pretty awesome doing a

Facebook live like sitting next to you as opposed to like doing it remotely

I can make faces and wave at you and you know, see what your genuine reaction is.

Ask you to be one of my special guests I sent you this fun little

Questionnaire. Yeah, I know. I'm embarrassed. I don't know if I want you to read it or not

You can read it though, I'll just cover my face up and be like this

You know well, I don't think you are that shy

It really resonated with me... What is something that is different but amazing about you? You bring a positive energy

when you walk into rooms... not everybody can do... some people actually suck the life out of a room

The first time I met you I could definitely see that the positive just flows through you

Part of my tribe, I like that I get the hang out with Tammy. I'm one of her homies now :-)

You're gonna share with us some tips to

help people

Unleash their LinkedIn community. Oh, definitely. Yeah because

Community is important

You just talked about it have any important people in your tribe

And Linkedin is one of those tools that allows you to expand your drive and connect with positive people

And of course get out market yourself and market your business and add some branding

I'm gonna share some tips to help people get more.

What is your first amazing tip?

For people that are want to grow their LinkedIn

Well, the first thing that you need to do on LinkedIn is tell your story. I mean, that's very important

You need to set up your profile. So that is telling a story

Now you can actually upload

Organic video directly to the site you can upload ten minutes worth of video or if you have ten minutes

I know that's kind of short but it's enough because most people have the attention span of a gnat right

So are you part of the 500 club on LinkedIn? I am part of the

She's using LinkedIn. If you're not part of the 500 Plus Club, you need to join it

That means you need to have 500 or more at least 501 people on LinkedIn in order to be part of that Club

So you're not out there with the connection level on LinkedIn get to 501 it lets people know that

you are serious with LinkedIn and

people will be more inclined to connect with you if you

Show that your active

Tammy the other thing I was going to share about telling your story on

LinkedIn is that you've got to make sure that your profile is set up in such a way that it tells people

What you do? So you need to have a banner on the banner page on LinkedIn?

Telling folks what it is that you do and then also your profile picture

Stands out quite a bit on LinkedIn because it kind of shows what type of person you are

So if you're if you have profile picture on LinkedIn that you're scowling and not looking too happy

People are gonna want to do business with you. But if you're grinning like you are and your profile picture then

it's a good thing it lets people know who they're dealing with and

obviously the level professional and with LinkedIn you need to take your connections off your offline connections and

Bring them in LinkedIn you go to networking events rather than grabbing those old boring business cards. Why not?

Connect with them on LinkedIn

Raise your value on LinkedIn and so people can

Understand what it is that you do you're helping people

and so when they need your expertise

they're gonna immediately think of you and I think

People fail on not only LinkedIn but other social media networks because they're not really sharing share something that's meaningful in in

Enhance people's lives, even if you're just sharing inspirational quotes

It's an up your profile look media with videos and photos and all that other stuff. So

you know enhance that LinkedIn profile because it tell your story through photo and video and didn't make sure that

You put that on linked at your own business brand like in Integral

Create a page on LinkedIn because when you do Google search if people are looking for your business

Your social media posts are gonna come up on Google search quicker than your website LinkedIn company page

Have you created one for you? I have

A ton of content on it yet, but there is an Unleash Your Amazing business LinkedIn page

that is awesome!

TIP#6

Have fun on LinkedIn, you know?

It's people think of it as the business Network and people only do business with people

They know like and trust so become a likeable trustworthy person on LinkedIn and showcase it through your post, right?

Be yourself be like your authentic real. Yeah. Oh yes. I

Need to get out of business if you're not fun, you gotta have fun

But yes, I know it seems like more Facebook ish

if you're posting those fun goofy post on LinkedIn, but you've gotta create you've got to stay in contact with your tribe and

you

Definitely need to develop a positive relationship. So put those posts out there

So there's nothing wrong with putting family post on LinkedIn or family videos on LinkedIn or even business

videos on LinkedIn like we're doing now I mean

This is kind of the perfect material because we've been just acting like a couple of goofballs

We have been. I think more me than Tammy, Tammy's been like just nice and smiling and professional

But you gotta have fun I mean so

LinkedIn is probably an awesome place to unleash your amazing and people don't think I would like that wouldn't you agree?

I would agree. I really like LinkedIn

I like it for connecting with other business professionals

BONUS TIP - If you leave one company with an email address you would activate a personal email address with your account

Into a you know a new profile where you can still utilize that you don't have to start over

That's right

and so sometimes I'll see people that have multiple LinkedIn maybe

because they didn't realize that so that would be a "Tammy" tip.

Rockstar Tammy just like throwing tips out there. I knew that but I'm just saying yeah surprised you knew that you're surprised

I knew that well

Like you said many people don't don't know that that you can transfer that

Email to your Linkedin and the great thing about LinkedIn is far staying in contact with your tribe is once you're connected on LinkedIn

You're forever connected on LinkedIn

right?? :-)

Neither am I it's hard to snap it's it's not I mean it's a new thing, but I don't really

It's an occasional thing. It's a lot of work

But I'm there too. If you want to connect with me on snapchat stuff

You can check out integral to a we're on Facebook and on the internet at integralcomputerconsultants.com

Yeah, you got tech questions or any questions about social media or technology.

Yeah, and obviously it looks like you can hit Tammy up too because she threw out some Tech Tips Too

Tip nuggets out there that was so that's what the email that was sounds impressive

Yeah

Yeah, people need to know that so that way they're not recreating their LinkedIn profiles over and over again.

Yes, which could be a lot of work?

And it could cause problems too because if people are trying to connect with you on social media, which account today

Connect would you know so yeah, unless you have multiple personalities you should probably just have one

And I guess a profile picture to match each one right it's not

BONUS TIP#2

The FIND feature for LinkedIn

The find feature like where you can find people or find job

people

It's in the LinkedIn app. You can turn it on and

If you're at a networking event, it'll let you know who's present. Oh and then you can connect with them

You know some of the larger events that we go to

you can open up the app turned on the find me feature on LinkedIn and then it will start broadcasting your

Presence at whatever event you are at. But I know that kind of sounds creepy

I'm the tech expert that's what you're here for right they help you unleash your amazing LinkedIN and your

amazing tech skills

I mean because you don't have to be a tech expert to be an entrepreneur, but you've got to know what options are available

as an entrepreneur so that way you can get the most out of the tech that you use and also then you can

Further your business with the use of technology. I love all the tips that you share and

Doing that and helping people to grow their business through technology is is a great

Mission. Mm-hmm to have and I really appreciate you

Oh, thank you sharing it with ya

Well today and I look forward to more lives and more events together in the future
