Hey everyone, it's time for my December wrap up.
Let's start, as usual, with all the videos
I uploaded in December. We talked
firstly about my new job and how it
is. It's still fun and I still enjoy it,
even though I wish it were less 9-5
but you can't have everything, right?
Then we also talked about book-buying. We
talked about restricted book buying how
I reduced my TBR and stopped book buying and
the book buying tag. Now i have to admit
I went and bought books. Four to be exact,
and I don't know how that happened. But
somehow they were reduced on my wish list,
everybody kept talking about them, and I
wanted to have them. And this is a
read-along that's going to happen and I
wanted to participate in. We also talked
about planners, diaries, journals, things
like that. And I really enjoyed how
you do your planning and when you use it.
It was very interesting, thank you for
sharing that with me. And of course I
will let you know how I'm getting along
with this new planner that I'm using.
Probably in the summer, when I've been
using it for half a year and have an
idea of what I actually think. Or earlier,
when I stopped using it. And then instead
of a Letter to December we sat down and
talked a little bit about 2016, because I
really didn't like it. And I really
enjoyed all the good things you shared,
and all your thoughts of 2016, and I hope
for all of us, 2017 will be so much
better, in every aspect.
Even if your year was good, I hope it's
going to be even better. And that already
brings me to the books I read in
December. I read rather weirdly. I didn't
put up many reviews. I reviewed my reread
of Men at Arms, which I loved and I
highly recommend the series, but you
already know that. So read this book. Then I
had the funny idea of picking up Naked
Lunch. But it was too complicated for
my sick brain, so I put it down and
picked up something easy. Which basically
means I reread the Soulless mangas. The
Parasol Protectorate series, the first
three books are available as manga
versions and I just reread them because
being sick you want to have comfortable
fun pleasurable reads. That was basically
all I finished. When it comes to physical
books I started reading The Wise Man's
Fear, because I had the week off. But I'm
only 500 pages in, it's still 800 pages and
I'm okay
because i enjoy reading it and I
enjoyed that I had a huge chunk of time to
read it. Now I'm just a little bit
worried about the last 800 pages, how to
do that while I'm working again. On
audiobook I listened to the second book in
the Pillars of Reality, and I really
enjoy this series. It's getting more
and more interesting about what happens
in the world, the
overall story, and yes the relationship
between the two main characters. I'm
going to do a series review once I've
listened to the whole thing. I
recommend this as a great fantasy series,
but you have to be aware that it's a lot
about their relationship. It's basically
the center of it and everything else
happens as well. And the last audiobook I
listened to I also reviewed was the
#AskGaryVee book. And I listened to it and
it's read by him and I think it helped
me understand a lot more about his
personality, because I didn't know the
guy. Also it was a lot of fun and
entertaining, inspirational. I thought
I learned a lot
despite not being that overly interested
in being an entrepreneur, or making it big. I
really got a lot out of this book,
because he talks about so many topics
there is something in there for everyone.
So I highly recommend that. And that was
my December. I'm not going to put up any
more favorites videos or least
favorites or any statistics videos for
2016, because I'm honestly not interested,
and I'm really bad at putting together
favorites list. So we're done with 2016 as
of today. Let me know how your December
