of promoting compliance with competition law

and this is why we're today

launching our BusinessEurope

competition package.

This package consists of two parts.

First, there's the compliance guide which expresses

our wish to comply with competition rules

and it's a kind of a first aid kit.

It wants to encourage companies

entrepreneurs to comply with competition rules

while providing them with a

toolkit and providing them with

a concrete instrument.

The second part is our blueprint for an

out of the court settlement system

for competition claims

and the idea is that we want to provide

companies and consumers with a tool

which is faster, cheaper and less

confrontational than when you have the

necessity to go to court and we think

this is an excellent opportunity

which can be of a big advantage

for companies but also for consumers.
