Waching daily Apr 25 2017

Hello my foodies!

Today's video will be a response to "TinyAndBrown"

who released a video untitled "i am too dark"

The video was a featuring with a friend of hers. During the whole video, she is making her up.

I don't personaly know this youtuber, you can find the link of the video in the description box, (there is no english subtitles in it though ^^')

but for what i understood through the video and the comment section, she is a make up artist.

I found the video in my thumbnail (i don't remember what i was watching at that time, nevermind)

i was attracted by the title of the video so i clicked on it. She asked a friend of hers (dark-skinned)

to talk about her life and struggles as a dark skinned.

Let's start with the positive aspects!

i did not see TinyAndBrown herself in the video,

she quickly said that she did not wanted to talk about the subject herself, even if she really feels concerned by the issue

because she is a light skinned.

She thought that the only a dark skinned person should talk about the issue.

That's why she wanted her friend to talk, which i found really positive.

Another thing i liked : they really tried to promote black beauty

she even made her friend up

To me, her friend was more beautiful before she had make-up on

because at the end, the difference of skin tone was too much for me, but that's just my opinion.

Anyways, her friend is beautiful with and without make up on.

Now, let's go to what bothered me!

it started really fast!

it started when i heard "me as a 'black' "

when i heard that word ('black') i felt like...

i have some issues with people who talk about blacks calling them "black" (in french, black is "noir" and instead of using the French word, they use the English one)

as if the word "noir" was an insult or something like that, we are "noirs" not "black"

we don't call "blancs" "white", we say "blancs"

we shouldn't be afraid of (some) words.

when we talk in english, we use "black", not "noir" to talk about us because we are talking in English

when i was in China, i heard Chinese to talk about us, over there, they say "hei ren", which literally means "black people"

so we shouldn't be afraid of some words, we are "noirs", it's ok.

so the use of that word bothered me a little.

They also talked about words people are using to "compliment" black women

i was also said that i was beautiful "for a black woman"

"intelligent 'for a black' " and a lot of things like that "for a black"

when i was a kid, i thought i was compliment and i took them as compliments.

In their video, they also said that the first time they heard those words, they took them as compliments too.

I remember that day i was talking with my father about black people in general

and i told him that i had a discussion with a white and that this person told me how black were uneducated, ghetto and so on, but that i was different.

(i think at that time i was in high school) My father replied it was not a compliment

that what this person told me was : blacks are rude people and telling me

"you're different" was not a compliment and that i should not take it as one.

after that, i thought to myself "that's true, it's ain't a compliment. This person is judging a whole community without any knowlege of it.

Talking about that aspect to make black women to understand these kind of talks aren't compliment at all is really a good thing.

I liked the fact they talked about that.

If i did not have that conversation with my father, it's possible that i would have never known these are not a compliments.

It's also possible that i would have learnt it later, i don't know.

But i was bothered by a specific part of their video and that's why i wanted to make a reponse.

It was when they talked about Khoudia Diop

So, Khoudia Diop is the wonderful young lady you would see up here in the pictures!

They talked about her to say that in the black community, we are used to slander ourselves and that we are unable to support each others.

They added that a lot of black women were violent in their comments towards Khoudia (that's true).

They used that example and started to critic and to generalise "the black"

saying "we don't want to generalise buuuuut"

let's be honest : it IS a generalisation.

it looked like "the black is : selfish, unable of solidarity, dictator, bad..." well a lot of negative adjectives to describe the community.

i was bothered by that fact and i thought to myself :

i don't know how to translate that idea in French, that's why i said it in english ^^"

we are criticizing.. you..well, i say "we" because it's a general "we".

We are criticizing people because they are criticizing others.

With those kinds of arguments "blacks are always in the judgement and the critic"

"we are always judging each other" "we are unable of showing solidarity" "we are this" "we are that"

Here is what i want to say "playing in that game isn't positive either"

This young lady who is called Khoudia Diop is really beautiful, she's really gorgeous, i mean...

the first time i saw her, i was thinking "she looks like a doll"

if i want my brothers and sisters to think the same

and say "she is really gorgeous"

i would say "here is another model who could represent a part of the black community which doesn't feel represented

let's support her, let's put a lot of positive comments for her to feel a lot of love, for her to feel supported,

even if she does not know the people who put the comments, it doesn't matter"

"that each time there is a new person who can represent the communitiy, we have to support him/her"

they could have talked this way,

but they'd rather being negative, it really bothered me.

i was also bothered when they made a comparison between black community and other communities.

"we as blacks are always like that, but north africans and asians aren't like that"

"that's why we never succeed" "that's why there are troubles in Africa"

I don't know the origins of those two ladies, when i say that, i literally means : from which countries they are

and if they often go to Africa (and in their country)

I am Cameroonian but i grew up in France

but from what i heard from relatives who often go to Cameroon,

there are creating communities, associations to support each others

If it's not AMAP as in France, which is an association which favors local trade and creates a link between farmers and consumers

it's villages which are creating communities to do things all together.

so limiting black as someone who is selfish, unable of solidarity, who does not do anything

and that's why we are poor in Africa, that's why we can't succeed, that's why we have dictators and so on....

when i said "i don't know where they come frome" i meant : i don't know if they went to their country to see how it goes over there.

i won't say everything is perfect but saying we don't do anything, we don't support each other...

i won't say it's totally wrong cause there are some people who are jealous and who can't accept when other succeed

that's true, but i dont' think it's specific to black people. These kind of people exist in any community.

They also forgot to talk about something else.

I really felt that they were minimizing black suffering

i heard them say : "there is racism, but not that much today"

no, there is not "less" racism, it's "institutionalized"

it's a pity to look at consequences without paying attention to causes.

Saying the Asian and the North African communities know how to support each other when we don't,

is avoiding the fact that they don't share the same history.

I did a bit of Chinese civilisation, so i will only talk for China :

yes, Jesuits came to China but it was different, even if they considered Chinese as "less than whites"

the expression of "superiority" (white vs chinese) was more controlled with China.

When they understood during the XIX and the XX century that Chinese did not want to "negociate" with them, they started to

create dissensions between Chinese, introducing corruption, Opium and things like that.

So Asian don't share the same history as blacks, they suffered as well though,

i don't want to classify suffering.

But it's just not the same history.

it's not a population which suffered from V century of slavery

we every time have to remind people of that fact...

it's not a population which was dehumanized (during the same duration and at the same scale),

which was used to do scientific "researches" (during the same duration and at the same scale).

It's not a population whose people finished in zoos,

they did not succeed to make them disown their own culture and identity

It's not similar at all.

As a consequence, we are not all aware and we are not all able to be aware (of our real history, of our current struggles)

every one does not have access to newspapers, literatures,

every one does not have relatives who are aware (of the same things),

every single one of us is not coming from the same place.

So making a whole generalisation saying

"black are like this, black are like that, it's not a generalisation buuuuut...what people think is not coming from nowhere."

is a shame. To me, it's really a shame.

The video they made was coming from a good place,

but the focus about aesthetic was maybe too important, but not that much, just a little like this!!

Because it is also true that as black women we also need to hear that we are beautiful as we are.

That we have charms, that our differences are beautiful, we need to hear that more often.

If i'm not mistaken, her channel is about beauty so it's normal that it was what she highlighted.

But once again, criticizing "the black" without analyzing all the aspects around our community was a pity to me.

That's why i wanted to make a response.

Do not hesitate to tell me what you thought about the video and if you liked it.

Do not hesitate to like the video if you like it

do not hesitate to subscribe and to click on the little bell

to be able to have notifications each time i release a video

because i planned to make videos more often!!!

i hope to see you next week

i can't tell right know but i hope so!!

Waiting for that : eat a lot of vegetables, drink a lot of water

but first and foremost, keep smiling :)

Deuces!

Sakura-Mochi ピンクがカワイイ!もちもち桜餅の作り方(今さら) - Duration: 6:17.

Hey guys! I'm Kuma-chan!

I'm the first cooking bear on YouTube!

I got an request of how to make Sakura-mochi!

What is Sakura-Mochi?

It's a bean paste rice cake wrapped in a cherry leaf.

Please subscribe to my youtube channel!

You don't wanna miss my latest YouTube video!

Ok, all right. Are you ready?

First of all, you wash sweet rice.

Then, soak in water for an hour.

Now, drain sweet rice and mix with 160 ml of water.

Add a pinch of red food coloring and mix well until color is even.

Boil rice by covering it with a lid.

If you are using a saucepan, check the following directions to boil.

If you are using a rice cooker, just cook the same way as white rice.

I already soaked cherry leaves in water for about 30 minutes to freshen.

You can find salted cherry leaves at online stores if you can't find them at local daily markets.

Actually, I got these on Amazon.

Now, wipe off moisture on leaves.

Wow, smells so good!

Oh, do not forget to take stems off.

Then, divide trained sweet red beans into ten 20g balls.

Hello Brian. You're new, right? Come here!

Yes, Kumako-san. What can I do for you?

Tomorrow, we will have a cherry blossom party, so we are going to save a spot right now. C'mon!!

Whaaat? From now?

It's already after 5:00pm!

You know what? Our cherry blossom party has already started.

A new employee like you must keep a spot for all night. This is war!

The war of cherry blossom party?

I will go on a date with my girlfriend tonight.

Huh? No way. It's not acceptable.

If other groups show up, you are going to have a one-on-one judo match each time.

Whaaat? Judo?

I don't get that rule.

If you lose, hmmm, yeah, you do harakiri right away or no bonus for your entire life.

Oh my gosh! That's too crazy! Crazy Japanese Samurai!

I cannot find any words.

Seriously, do Japanese people stake their life for a cherry blossom party?

Is this the reality of cherry blossom party?

Awwww, I want to go back to my country.

I decided to go back to my country and help my family farm, just right now.

Japan is so crazy.

Hi, Kumako!

Oh, manger! Were you here?

Don't be teasing him too much. You made him cry!

Whoops, I overreacted and said too much. Hehe.

Brian! It's a joke! Sorry, no more harakiri nowadays.

Brian! I'll treat you today!

Sweet rice is done!

Tada!

Wow, beautiful pink rice!

Same color as inside of my mouth.

Now, mash this into the gruel.

The chief! It's your turn.

Put appropriate quantities of rice on your hand and make it flat like this.

Place a ball of red bean paste on top.

Warp the ball by the flat steamed rice neatly.

They are really sticky, so keep your hands wet.

Lastly, warp a cherry leaf around the steamed rice like this.

Place Sakura-mochi on a plate!

Terrific! Pretty aren't they?

Oh, yum, so yummy.

Very chewy and soft.

The cherry leaves smell so good.

And just the right amount of salt, mmmm so gooooood!

They are the best match to bring out its flavor.

Yeah, so much like spring.

I have not had any cherry blossom parties this year yet.

When I notice, all petals of cherry blossoms were gone.

How about you? Did you go?

Cherry blossoms are just small tiny petals but really impress us.

Maybe they have some sort of magical power; a beam on happiness.

Is Hanami the custom for only Japanese? I wonder if other countries also have this custom.

Ok, all right. Now it's a time to introduce my viewers' post.

I am going to read them all at once. Here we go!

Purin chan, mochiko san, daifuku san, and Pochako B san! They all tried to cook pasta with salted cod roe sauce!

Oh my! Awwwww, they presented pasta on a plate so perfectly. Their choice of plate is just awesome, too!

They look so yummy!

Most people say it is really simple cooking but tasty. I am so happy to hear that!

The chief will be very proud if this dish would be one of your special recipes.

Thank you so much to all of you!

Moreover, Pochako B san has tried to cook carbonara and chocolate tip scones.

She must love cooking!

Please keep cooking and treat your family and many many friends!

Again, thank you!

All right, everyone. Please share your pictures of dishes Kuma-chan Channel introduced and illustrations of me. Here is my email address.

Do not forget to put your handle name I can share!

Wait a minute! C'mon chief! You are eating too much.

Oh well, I have to go because the chief might be eating all of Sakura-mochi. I have to stop him now.

No, chief! Hey!

Now, I really wanna go to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms.

Yes, a cherry blossom party!

Chief? Let's go to a cherry blossom party!

Captain Vyom - Episode 46 - India's First Superhero Web Series Ft. Milind Soman - Duration: 20:04.

Pablo see, it's the same boy!

You two are still here?

Are you sure that Dhruv Rishi does not live here?

I already told you!

But how can this be?

You still don't trust me?

Come I will show you around

Come

Not from there! from here!

Get up Pablo, Where have you fallen?

wait Pablo!

Crime, Its a heinous crime to raise your hand on a child!

How dare you?

You?

Yes, I am Dhruv Rishi, I was testing you.

Dhruv Rishi, forgive me, I didn't know it was you!

A child is a human form of God and you have offended God!

I curse you!

Now repent for this offence!

Dhruv Rishi, whatever punishment you want to give, give me

but don't punish her

No never!

Once I curse, I don't take it back!

Now Repent!

Dhruv Rishi, Once again I ask for forgiveness believe me,

we had just come to take some herbs..

I know everything!

But you have forgotten that to achieve something you have to keep patience

You have failed in your conflict

You have a lot of anger in you, you stupid!

Anger makes one witless!

You are not capable of fighting your enemies!

Dhruv Rishi, I have accpeted my mistake,

but do not punish the entire Earth because of my mistake!

Alright!

I will give you the herbs!

But to ensure that the herbs have not been misused

you have to come here again to prove it!

Ok

Only then you can take your partner back

But remember, only Astro Guru can tell you how to use the herb.

If you or any of your team members make a mistake then

you all will be destroyed.

Left Dr. Zen and got the herbs..

What happened to Dr.Zen?

Who will bring her back?

Captain Vyom

See, something is moving towards Ulka..

Phullar increase the Visual range

Yes Captain!

Will return with a sad face....

Zen is not here.. where is she?

In Planet punit

Send a signal from our side!

Okay.

Captain Vyom I am sending the signal but we are not able to establish a contact

See captain Vyom this signal is coming from our own space mobile

Our Space Mobile?

Then why is not anyone contacting us?

Vyom was always right, "Pablo do not drink!"

Even Dr. Zen said that!

But I never listen!

Ulka calling!

Ulka calling.

I am Captain Vyom calling from Ulka.

Pablo are you receiving our signal?

Pablo!

Dr.Zen?

Strange! we are able to send signal to Pablo but he is not responding.

Something is definitely wrong.

Captain Blaze take charge while I go and find out.

Captain Vyom, where is Dr.Zen

Don't know, Only Pablo was in the space mobile that too unconscious.

But yes they were successful in bringing the herbs.

Greetings Astro Guru!

How is Pablo now Vyom?

Pilot Pablo is still unconcious and there is no sign of Dr.Zen

Well, there is no need to worry!

Why are you saying this Astro Guru,

If we keep loosing each and every member like this, then?

Captain Vyom do not worry about these issues...

We have succeeded in our second mission,

Now quickly prepare yourself for the 3rd Mission!

and yes, what happened to the 4th mission?

When are you going?

We have prepared for the 3rd & 4th Mission.

Both will start soon!

Very Good!

Long Live!

Long Live!

Captian Blaze!

I am going Planet Taksha which is 150 light years from here

till I return you are in charge of this ship

Yes Captain Vyom!

But be alert, there may be an attack on Ulka while I am not here..

You need not worry.

I will protect Ulka till my last breath

Long live!

Long Live!

120 Light years from here there is a Planet called Sapta

where dwells Man eating trees and machines made by them..

Machines made by trees?

Yes.

They are trees by their looks and names but in reality

their brains are like humans..

but because they can't move, they get their work done by these machines..

These machines are as dangerous as the trees..

This will be your biggest hurdle.

Captain Vyom you never told us what is this engine that

we are going to bring?

In Planet Sapta every 8000 years, dew drops are formed...

Right now its already 8000 years, by the time you reach

dew drops have already been formed...

That same dew drops will work as engine for us....

Dew drops and engine?

I do not understand Captain Vyom..

The atmosphere at Sapta Planet is a special kind of its own..

The genetic factors of that atmosphere are accumulated in those dew drops

These dew drops act as supplements for these trees..

These trees receive their supplements once in every 8000 years

Thats why these trees will try to kill you..

Remember Phullar, bring back Sidie safely.

Don't worry Captain Vyom,

I and Phullar will bring the dew drops safely.

Long Live!

Long Live!

Come in Phullar!

Come in! This is Captain Vyom speaking!

Captain Vyom this is Phullar from Space mobile 44. Say!

Phullar, after acquiring the engine from Sapta Planet,

whatever transition you require for its use....

..should be complete before I come.

Captain Vyom I know we have very less time.

Do not worry!

All the best for your mission Phullar!

Thank you Captain Vyom and Same to you

Long Live!

Phullar, Captain Vyom told us there will be Man-eating trees and machines.

But there is nothing here!

Even I was wondering the same Sidie!

Should we go here or there?

Lets go there..

I can't understand anything Phullar!

We have come so far but there is no sign of a jungle

Something is wrong!

lets go and see if we can find anything!

Now we have reached at this desert!

at least we found something !

Listen Sidie every machine has a main circuit

we fired so many rounds from front but this

machine was not affected

It definitely has a circuit at the back..

lets do one thing, I will try to trick this machine and...

I understood Phuller

Well Done!

Sidie.. you proved once again that there is no robot better than you!

Its all because of you Phullar!

but there must be more machines like this one..

No doubt, but before we face more of them, let me understand

what these tree made machines are!

I am here parasite!

who are you? did you build this wall?

yes, I was waiting for you! good that you have come, parasite.

I am a inhabitant from Earth

Whoever you are, for me you are just a parasite

What do you want?

I am Radonvasilikon, i wish for your death

why?

The gem that you are seeking, I too am here for that same Gem

and I cannot allow you to take away that Gem.

why do you want that gem?

To capture the 7th Dimension

You want to capture the 7th Dimension?

Yes that is my intention!

Even I want the Gem to save my Earth!

I know but I cannot change my decision for your minuscule planet

Our Planet is not minuscule

If not then it will become!

See Parasite, the Gem is Ours now!

First we will attack the 7th Dimension and then your Planet

Come Sidie I will show a trick

Your Name?

Alpha Dot Three

Your Commander's name:

Universal Space Enginner : Phullar

His colleague's name :

Machine made by him : Sidie

I am not a machine, I am a robot

It's the same thing Sidie!

How many colleaugues do you have?

I have no Colleaugues

I mean how many machines are there like you

Four

What only 5 Machines in the whole Planet?

Not 5 only 4

Yes Yes !

Where are these machines now?

1 Kilometer from here

Give me their exact location

Each at a distance from 100 Meters from one another

These trees are well prepared!

OK, take us there

Blaze!

Pablo!

Congratulations Captain Vyom, I already killed these two colleagues of yours!

and the remaining two are prisoned at Punit & Vasta Planet

You have got the herb and the weapon and maybe the other two

have already acquired the Engine from Sapta Planet

But the Gem, you cannot acquire the gem Captain Vyom,

Never!

You can try how much ever you want but at the end we will capture the Earth.

Yes Captain Vyom we will win!

Nooo!

What I love about studying at Middlesex University - Duration: 1:51.

Hi, I'm Jess and I've been at Middlesex

three years now and I'd like to tell you

what I love about being a student here.

Middlesex is all on one campus so all my

lectures and seminars take place here.

MDX House is just behind me,

the library's over there,

and over there is the brand new Ritterman Building

full of high-tech labs and workshops.

Because all of the students are here in one place

I'm constantly bumping into my friends

and meeting new and exciting people.

MDX House is where we go for fun.

We've got a bunch of places to eat, the student bar and the gym,

all in this building.

I've been to loads of events here:

club nights, comedy, live music events.

It's always such a great atmosphere.

Lecturers here don't just teach us from textbooks,

they've got real experience working as professionals.

I love knowing they've actually done the things they teach us about.

And many of them are doing amazing research,

which means I'm learning stuff no one else knows about yet.

A degree will give me an advantage in finding a job,

but I've learnt there's a lot more hard work to it if I want to find the right job.

MDXworks, the employability centre, helped me find my first part-time job,

And now they're helping me look for graduate positions

and improve my CV,

so I can grab any opportunity that comes my way.

Most Middlesex students will tell you

the library is their favorite place to go.

That's because you can borrow laptops,

print work for free and work in total silence with no distractions.

Plus you get free e-books

and there are tons of online resources,

which means I don't have to worry about carrying heavy books around.

The thing I love most about Middlesex

is being part of the community.

It feels like I'm studying with the whole world!

As a student here you get to stay in London

and still learn about life in Poland, Malaysia or Nigeria.

Now you know why I love Middlesex so much,

come and experience it for yourself!

TFS 038: Do Webinars still Work in 2017? - Duration: 17:47.

- You are listening to the Femtrepreneur Show

and this is episode 38.

In this episode we're talking about whether or not webinars

are still working in 2017

and if they're worth it for you to start doing them.

(surf music)

Hey guys, I'm Mariah.

- And I'm Megan and I'm really excited

to talk about webinars because I think people

ask us a ton of webinar questions.

This episode is kinda kicking off

a little series if you will.

We're gonna be digging deep into webinars and

all the questions you guys keep asking us.

So I think it's great to kinda start off with,

are they worth it?

So I'd love for you to answer that, Mariah.

- Yeah, well I mean we get that question a lot,

are webinars dead?

People are like, are webinars over?

They had their day and now they're not worth it

to do it anymore?

Are people still signing up for webinars?

I see a lot of Facebook threads where people are like,

I hate webinars, does anyone else?

I stopped going to webinars or whatever.

Or I see people saying things like,

I've never done a webinar yet.

Is it a good time for me to start doing webinars?

Is it too late, right?

A lot of people are like,

Is it too late for me - Yeah

- to start doing webinars,

if I haven't started doing them yet?

And I see a lot of people just ask me, is it worth it?

Should I be doing them for my business?

This podcast episode is gonna be one minute long.

Yes, it's worth it.

- No, just kidding, - The end.

- we're gonna keep going.

But the bottom line is that no matter which way you cut it,

no matter what you've seen people say,

I think there's a lot of people who are

sensationally being like,

webinars, they're not working anymore.

But I can say from me and thousands of our students can say

from all of our experiences that,

of course webinars are still working.

They're very much working.

That being said, the way that you are gonna do

successful webinars in 2017 and beyond

looks different than if you were starting to do webinars

two years ago, or three years ago.

So I definitely, what we're gonna talk about today

is what's actually working in webinars in 2017.

What's working right now.

What do I see working going into the future.

And what are some of the things that have changed, right?

Cuz a lot of the strategies have changed

in the last few years.

And in order for you to do a webinar

that is engaging and compelling

and something that people are actually

gonna stick around for.

Because yes, there are more webinars available online

than there were two years ago.

Mostly because of Webinar Rockstar, let's be honest.

We have thousands more people doing webinars

because of our programs.

And yes, that does mean there's more people doing them,

but all that means is that there are a few tweaks

you're gonna wanna make.

There's a few things you're gonna wanna do differently

so that your webinars are really relevant

and really delivering to people what they need right now.

Responding to the market, - Yeah

- responding to how people are feeling.

Cuz if people are saying,

Oh gosh, I don't have time to do all these webinars.

How are we gonna respond?

We're gonna make our webinars shorter.

If people are saying, gosh, I can't deal with this webinar.

That's 30 minutes of just listening to this person

talk about themselves in the beginning,

okay well we're going to cut that entire section out,

and we're going to really change the way

that webinars are delivered because,

we're responding to how people are feeling.

Now-- - Yeah

- By and far webinars are still the very best

and fastest way to grow your email list,

to build up your trust and your authority in your industry,

to create trust and connection with your audience.

And definitely the best and fastest way

to make sales for sure.

There's no denying that it's absolutely worth it

for you to do webinars.

Someone once asked me, do I have to do webinars

in my business, is it required?

Well, you don't have to,

you don't have to do anything, it's your business,

but, it's going to make everything go so much faster.

You could be creeping along trying to build your email list,

but if you do webinars your email list is going to explode.

So the question for you is really,

are you willing to step outside of your comfort zone,

and to show up and do a webinar

in order to make things happen faster for you?

- Yeah, I definitely think webinars are the fast track.

- Yes, I feel like that too.

- So many times some, you guys listening

maybe you felt like this in your business before

where you're trying all these different strategies

and nothing is really making a huge impact.

Like you're getting a trickle here and there,

- Right.

- Webinars are just, you get hundreds of new people.

You get a surge of new people,

and a big list surge from doing these webinars.

That's why Femtrepreneur grew so fast because

Mariah was doing at least one webinar every single week.

There's a balance, maybe you can't do it every week,

and you do it less often, but even when you do do it

you will see a much more substantial growth

in a shorter period of time.

- Definitely, I love what you said.

It's the fast track, I feel like that too.

It's not necessary, but it is the fast track,

which why wouldn't you want to do that?

One of the points I want to make too,

is that there are so many people listening today,

that are in an industry

where webinars are not saturated, right?

So how many people might be listening right now thinking,

gosh there aren't any, there isn't anyone doing webinars

in my specific niche.

Or there's no one in my industry doing webinars.

You might even be thinking,

my audience doesn't even know what a webinar is.

Or my industry isn't familiar with seeing a webinar,

I'm not sure if anyone's going to sign up.

If you're in that position, if you're in a position where

there's no, you're really not in a saturated market

where no one's doing webinars yet

you are sitting on a gold mine,

and you should be-- - Yeah, lucky you.

- the first person to do that.

Exactly.

There's so many people that will be like,

well no one in my industry does webinars,

none of the bloggers

or none of the people in my niche are doing webinars,

so I guess the audience just doesn't want them.

It's like no, they probably just never figured out how,

they never even thought about it.

If you can be the first person to bring

this amazing, valuable webinar to your

specific industry or niche, you're going to crush it.

Because, people are not being bombarded

in that particular niche with tons of webinars

happening every single day all day.

So definitely think about that.

If you are in that position, oh my gosh,

webinars are 100 times more worth it for you,

specifically. - Yeah don't wait, start now.

- [Mariah] Exactly.

- So what would you say,

whether you're in a saturated market or not,

what are the things that are working now,

and that are changes to maybe

how people used to do webinars.

- Definitely.

We're going to talk about three things

that I think you should be doing differently

going forward as you do your webinars

that are different than what was working a year ago.

Okay, things have definitely really changed

in the last year.

The first thing is to keep your webinars

really really short.

So there was a time when the

accepted way of doing things was

have a webinar, it should be 90 minutes,

it should be two hours.

There's kind of this idea of

the more you give the better, right?

Like of, wow I just did a three hour webinar,

I delivered so much value, three hours worth of value.

Well guess what?

People don't actually see value in more more more.

Especially today when there's a lot of webinars,

there's a lot of opportunities, people are busy.

You are actually going to be stand-out,

if you specifically promote

that your webinar is going to be short, and to the point,

and it's not going to waste time,

and you're not going to give a 20 minute background story

about how you used to be super poor and awful and miserable

and now you're the best.

Just cut all that out and shorten it down.

This is one of the biggest shifts that we're seeing

in webinars right now

is people successfully saying, you know what?

I'm actually just going to do a 30 minute webinar

start to finish instead

and focus on one quick strategy that I can teach

instead of giving someone a two hour commitment

and what happens is if you have a webinar that long

you're going to have a lot of drop off.

You're going to have a lot of people

fall off towards the end.

So the biggest thing is that these webinars

need to be short, okay?

There's no more of these two hour long extravaganzas.

- Also, and correct me if I'm wrong too,

but you're talking about start to finish,

does that 30 minute mark include a Q and A at the end?

- To me the 30 minutes is when you should be wrapping up

and then going into the Q and A.

So you might be live, - That's what I was gonna say--

- for like 45 minutes total.

- Yeah, cuz we've seen a lot,

we like to end our webinars with a Q and A, well,

we have an offer that's expiring or wrapping it up,

and we like to answer questions live

and you'll be surprised you might get a lot of questions

and you might want to answer more than you think.

That was an issue we used to run into is,

we would have an hour to a 90 minute webinar,

and then we would have a 30 minute Q and A

and it just adds up.

So by having a 30 minute,

you know it's a 30 minute solid webinar,

then if you want to do a five, 10, 15 minute

Q and A at the end,

you're still in a really good place time wise.

People are going to stick around for that more often

than if it's two hours, two and a half hours.

- [Mariah] Definitely.

- Keep that in mind too.

- Yeah, and I think that the whole theme here,

our second tip for you for what's working right now,

is that your topic must be specific and really small,

and just provide one tiny quick win for people.

So the theme here is less is more, right?

Both in the time you that you spend,

in the time commitment people need to make in order to

get something out of your webinar you want to shorten that,

and instead of doing what you might have seen two years ago,

or three years ago, a lot of webinars that are like,

the seven step process for building your house.

Or the seven step process for starting a business.

It's like this giant overview that just goes through

every phase or every step of a huge project, right?

Like building a house is too big.

I see a lot of people make the mistake of doing a webinar

where the topic is this

really trite, really over done

seven steps to doing x, y, z.

And what they're doing is outlining would could be

a six month or even 12 month process,

and they're just outlining that.

The things that happens is that people

go to that webinar, they're taking notes,

they're getting six months worth

of tasks and ideas and things that they're thinking about,

and then by the time you get to your pitch they're like,

gosh I have so much to do,

I haven't even gotten through all this stuff,

or oh I'm so overwhelmed, this is too much.

It just doesn't actually help you,

because it's too big and it's too much.

So what we want you to do is

what's going to be more appealing to more people,

especially if you're in an industry

were webinars might be a little bit saturated

is to just teach a tiny tiny

quick strategy or quick win.

Something that someone can get

some sort of impact from in 20 minutes, right?

What's something you can - Yeah.

- share in 20 minutes that is a tiny quick win?

We're not talking that you're going to change

someone's entire life in 20 minutes,

but if you can give them a tiny tool

or a tiny strategy that they can start to see,

wow, this is really working,

that's going to have the biggest impact.

People are going to want to take the next step with you too,

if you can give them that tiny quick win.

So no more of these, seven steps to doing x, y, z,

and it's this huge overview of stuff.

Really get small, specific.

Get tiny, tiny, tiny.

- Because especially as you're looking at your audience

and your students and customers,

they need to experience that win.

If they can be on this webinar with you,

and see how you teach and walk away and be like,

wow I just solved this one problem,

that I've been dealing with.

I haven't known how to do this one piece of the puzzle,

and now I'm walking away from this free webinar,

knowing how to do that.

This solved a very real issue they were having,

and now they're going to be convinced

that whatever you are offering or selling

you'll deliver on that promise too,

because you've delivered-- - Exactly

- on this promise and given them a win and a solution,

then now they know when you teach

you're teaching real stuff, it's not fluff.

Whereas the other style can also, to me at least,

now when I sit through a webinar

that follows that old approach,

it feels kind of fluff.

- It is fluff.

- Like what am I really walking away from?

I don't really have any new knowledge unless,

if I do I'm overwhelmed, or--

- Right.

- I don't really know how to take action,

and I don't feel confidant that this person,

is this just how they teach?

Do they just teach me fluff, and leave me overwhelmed?

I don't know.

- Yeah.

- That's my rant, okay.

- Definitely.

You're, I mean spot on.

And then the third thing that's really changing with

what you, some tweaks that you want to make,

going into this year and beyond is,

here's the truth.

The old way of doing webinars,

where you didn't have to show your face,

and you could just get away with

just showing a presentation,

and no one ever saw you or who you are,

those aren't going to be working much longer.

Those are not, obviously there's people who do that,

but if you wanna stand out,

and you want to take it to the next level,

and you want to stand out in a sea of webinars,

you have to build real connection, and that means,

despite it being scary for some people,

getting, being on camera, for the first ten minutes

and the last ten minutes of your webinars.

This is what I call a hybrid style webinar.

It's where you are on the camera,

greeting people and introducing yourself,

they can see you, they can see your face,

they can see that you're a real person, right?

In the first ten minutes of your webinar

and then you switch over to sharing your slides,

you teach your content,

and then at the end of the webinar

you turn off the slide sharing

and you show yourself again.

And you're there answering peoples' questions,

looking into the camera, being yourself,

you don't have to be fancy,

you don't have to look a certain way,

doesn't really matter.

Guys, I do all my webinars in my pajamas,

with just a messy bun.

Doesn't have to be fancy but,

you do have to create that connection because,

the thing is that people are sick and tired of these

super stuffy

over prepared scripted webinars.

They're too perfect,

they're too stuffy,

they're not fun.

I mean the whole point of Webinar Rockstar,

our webinar course, is to make webinars fun again.

Webinars have the potential to be so much fun for you,

When you're doing them with your cohost,

it could just be this amazing party

where your audience is having fun

and you're all laughing together and telling jokes.

It could just be this amazing fun thing,

or it can be this soul sucking deadpan presentation,

and I don't want it to turn into that.

Make it fun, show yourself,

show your personality, this is what's going to be required.

You can't just teach the content in a monotone voice,

that's no longer good enough.

You have to bring it.

- Yeah, I think that's such a good point too,

because when we do webinars,

I walk away on such a high. - Yes!

- Like even if it was stressful getting ready,

and I got butterflies when we went live,

and I was kind of nervous,

all of that goes away

when you start building that real connection.

So we always have a live chat feature,

so we're actually communicating with our audience

throughout the entire webinar,

and if someone says something funny

we will probably bring it up and talk about it

- Yes. - and laugh about it

We walk away feeling so much more connected to our audience,

and we had a blast doing it.

So if you really open yourself up to that

you can definitely experience that,

but I do think it takes the face to face,

at least on their end to see you

to really foster that type of environment.

- Definitely.

It's going to make a huge difference,

and really help you stand out.

- Yeah, well hopefully this helps answer the question,

if you've been wondering

if webinars will still work for you,

hopefully, the answer is yes, in case you missed that,

and also, hopefully these tips

will help you take your webinars to the next level

Instant Dosa Recipe For Weight Loss - Oil Free & Healthy - Diet Plan To Lose Weight Fast - Duration: 5:00.

hey guys! i am nisa homey and welcome back

to my channel. Today, i'm sharing an

instant dosa recipe for weight loss.

This instant dosa does not require any

fermentation, all you need is some soaked

rice and add the rest of the ingredients

into a blender and blend and instant

dosa batter is ready to prepare dosa's.

This is a great breakfast or

dinner option especially for working

women and bachelors. You don't need any

extra oil in this dosa hence it's a

perfect weight loss meal. This instant

dosa is gluten-free, light on the

stomach and packed with extra goodness

so let's get started. First you need to

soak one and a half cups of rice, let me just

show you the type of white rice I am

using in this recipe. I'm using single

polished white rice as you can see there

is some bran left on the white rice. I f

you are a regular on my channel you

might have noticed that I also cook with

this rice. This is ordinary white rice

and this is fully refined and there is

no bran left on the right and hence

this right is white in color. So I hope

you understood how the refined white

rice on the left and the single polished

white rice on the right looks like. So

for weight loss try to avoid refined

white rice and use single polished or

semi polished white rice which has some

brand left on the rice. I have already

washed and rinse the rice and soaked it

for about 30 to 40 minutes if you are

making this for breakfast just remember

to soak the rise in water at night.

Moving on to the other ingredients: 1 cup

of red variety poha or you can use any

variety of poha which you can get at the

place you live in. Instead of poha you

can also use half cup cooked rice, half

cup grated coconut, half tsp jeera or

cumin seeds. Now the next main ingredient

is one whole cucumber, I will be peeling

off the skin of the cucumber and then

roughly chopping them. Two to three

shallots which is also known as cheriya ulli

in malayalam. The curry leaves, the

half onion, and the green chillies will

be used later in the recipe. Into my

blender first I am adding in the roughly

chopped cucumber pieces the

moisture from the cucumber will help

the ingredients to grind. Add in shallots

or cheriya ulli, add in the soaked rice,

one cup of poha, half cup of grated

coconut, three fourth teaspoon pink

Himalayan salt and to balance all the

flavors I'm adding in 1 teaspoon of

melted thick jaggery, half tsp jeera, and

one-fourth cup water remember cucumber

has some water content so add very less

water and now grind all this together. So

this is the consistency of the batter.

The batter should be somewhat like idli

batter, pour the thick batter into another

bowl. Chop half of the onion, green

chillies, and curry leaves really fine. If

you are making for kids use only one

green chili, since you don't need any

side dish with this dosa I like to keep

it little spicy so I just green chili

according to your taste. Now add in the

finely chopped onion green chillies and

curry leaves into the dosa batter, mix

the dosa batter very well and now let's

make the dosa. Heat a dosa tawa and

drizzle in a few drops of sesame seed oil

which is also known as gingelly oil or

nallenna in malayalam. With a tissue

paper grease the hot tawa and then

reduce the flame to the medium. Pour one

and a half to two ladle full of dosa

batter and generally spread it out now

covered with a lid for about a minute or

two and after about a minute or two open

the lid and turn the door to the other

side since there is fresh coconut in the

batter you don't need to add any extra

oil because the coconut in the batter

has some oil content and you can see the

dosa is not even sticking to the tawa

now carefully flip it to the other side

coconut plays a vital role in weight

loss so please check my video on coconut

oil to know more the links will be

updated in the description box below and

now if you are making this for kids this

is the right time to drizzle in some desi

ghee. Remember to put the flame on medium

all through the cooking after about one

and a half to two minutes flip the dosa

one more time and then transfer it to a

plate repeat the same with the rest of

the batter

and my easy and quick instant healthy

cucumber dosa is ready to serve this

This dosa is an excellent breakfast, lunch, or

dinner option and light on the stomach

it will keep you fuller for a longer

period. It's a perfect meal if you're on

a weight loss journey since this dosa

does not require any fermentation it

will definitely make your life easy on

those busy mornings and you can also

make ahead a batch of this batter and

keep it in the fridge. Do try this

instant dosa recipe and let me know

how this turned out thank you for

watching and until next time take care
