Vlog 5 - Das Brot ist trocken - Duration: 8:57.

Well, currently we are in a traffic jam. Mr. Greiner can you explain what we are going to do now?

We had the perfect short cut,

we avoided two traffic jams,

then we had to realize that

after the second avoidance they blocked the driveway we needed.

So we drove back alongside the second traffic jam towards Italy

and had to basically go to the end of the line.

And now we are behind this caravan in this traffic jam.

Mr. Greiner what do you think, how long it will take?

According to the navigation system: 1 hour and 20 min longer.

Yesterday we already said goodbye to "Gen Rosso" with a little party,

quickly packed our bags this morning

and now we are driving back home.

Dennis visited us again to say goodbye.

And that's it from Loppiano

Here we go, back home!

I`ve seen trunks packed more beautiful than this.

This belongs there.

That`s our food for our ride otherwise we would have a problem.

On our outward journey, it looked much better.

So we are here on a mountain where you can see Florence.

And this is the view.

It`s incredibly beautiful.

I don`t actually know why we are standing here,

but ok it is what it is.

Yes, and now we are doing a city tour.

Steffen, what is the mood?

The bread is dry, so not that good.

It`s like in prison, the bread is dry.

Thank you for everything.

Pleasure, safe journey home.

Goodbye thank you for everything.

We drove about 10 min away from Florence and we are already stuck in the first traffic jam.

Due to traffic on the A2 there is currently a delay of 3 hours and 12 min.

This is the fastest route.

If this changes you will be informed.

Arrival is displayed at 21:47 o`clock.

Hello Kathrin!

Hello!

What are you doing right now?

We are now about 5 km before the "Gotthard-tunnel".

The weather is nice, the wind is blowing from northeast direction

and we decided that we need a little leg movement

and jogging suites perfectly.

And what has all this to do with STARKamSTART?

Of course, we always have to act very spontaneously in our actions.

We actually picked a extra large traffic jam

so we can show many people our performing arts

while dancing and singing between, on and under the cars and…

oh Steffen I can`t do this like that.

Awesome!

It´s half past 1. We`ve done it. We are at home.

How about doing something useful for once instead of just always standing around.

I only have one sneaker left.

Only one sneaker. That`s panic and you are shooting a movie!

We`ve lost a sneaker on our way.

But apart from that everyone is here.

Goodbye, see you soon!

Goodbye!

Barry Aldridge | The Road to Nerdfighteria - Duration: 7:30.

Hey, Youtube. It's Barry Aldridge. Real

name; no gimmicks. How's it hanging people?

I'm here to talk about my journey on my

road to Nerdfighteria. It all began

though back 2007. Oh, gosh. This is like ten

years ago. Oh, crap. I can't believe that.

Nearly 10 years.

So I'd heard

about the Vlogbrothers a little

bit. One or two inklings because

I knew a YouTuber by the name of

Charlieissocoollike liked their videos

and I was probably in and out a bit, but

my first serious interaction with the

Vlogbrothers was December 17, 2007. The

very first ever Project for Awesome and

I saw videos I knew from people like

Charlieissocoollike, like JohnnyDurham19

eah he doesn't do videos much

anymore and a couple other people for

a thing called Project for Awesome. And I was

like, "What the hell's this? I'm curious

about this." And then I remember I was

sort of was inkling with the Vlogbrothers

so it was it was on the right day and

the Vlogbrothers had launched a video called

Project for Awesome. They were behind

it and Hank was saying, "Good morning. It's

December 17 and he was flailing his arms

about and I thought, "Is he a quiz show

host or something. No, no, it's fine. That's weird."

But anyhow, I liked his energy. I liked his

brother being completely opposite and I

like what they were actually talking

about. When I watched a couple of their

previous videos I was like, "Hmm. This is interesting.

There's some intelligence here. Really

good work there. I was like, "Okay,

cool!" and so it was based off of

Charlie's recommendation because it was

his recommendation to be quite

honest. So, over the course of time,

I'd watch a few of their videos and that

and then around about in April as I was

chatting to some friends, I had the

impossible. The Vlogbrothers subscribed

to me. I was like, "Whaaaaaaat....WHAT??!!? Seriously!!"

And, it was sort of history. Like I

made it. I made it into the inner sanctum

of nerdfighteria. I'm in the

Holy Temple and I cannot escape. I'm now

going to be converted into a statue! AHHHHHHH.

Yeah.

I thought I was going to be turned into a

statue, so I was like, "You know what, I've

earned their respect. Also, yeah, I did a

little bit of a channel recommendation

to them, so they went and

used one of their intros back in two

thousand eight. Yeah, if you do remember

the Vlogbrothers videos intros in 2007, it's a

very, very sort of dated intro, but it was

good at the time because it represented

YouTube's independence really to be fair.

Around the time after

that, I think was about mid-200, I

watched all of their videos from 2007.

The everyday challenge

sort of thing, which, I do miss so really to be

quite honest with you. Got it done within a

month I think. Yeah, I think was like

a month and it was fun to watch. And

you know, nowadays, the videos wouldn't

look that great because the greatness of

the video and not 240p pixels.

After that, I knew about what they

were doing and I decided, " You know what,

I'm going to get more involved with

Project for Awesome." I did do a

project for awesome video in 2007 by the way, but

under an old username and then I thought

I'll get myself a bit more involved. And

I thought, "You know what, I like what

they're actually doing with that and I did a

Project for Awesome video in 2008 and it

blew up like hell. I'm not kidding. Not

only that, it also got onto the front

page of the global website where the

Vlogbrothers were guest edited, which was

part of the best three months I ever had.

And not only that, it recognized about

the fact that you know it made me want

to do work and try and put in videos

with autism as well. Talking about autism,

trying to raise awareness, talk about my

life experiences and out a bit more, and

it was just crazy I just thought it was

absolutely amazing. I've gotta thank John

and Hank seriously from the bottom of my

heart about that. Did I ever meet John

and Hank? Yes, absolutely. I met John twice.

I met Hank once. My first visit though

with John was back in August of 2010. I

can't remember it well. I think maybe like August

fourteenth maybe it was. Yeah, I have the

train ticket somewhere but I can't seem to find

it. He was doing a book signing

that at The Water Stones in London and I

think was near Piccadilly Circus I

remember. And I have done a video about

meeting him and I had asked him about

a message. He said just how Barry Aldridge is

awesome and I was like, "Oh my god, that was so

cool!" and he recognized me straight

away. It was just unbelievable. It was really

cool I remember meeting, mark my

words, in a pub gig sort of thing which

we don't actually talk about nowadays. If

you want to know a bit about that, just

private message me. Well, you know, and

it was actually kind of cool and then

the second time I met them was on the

further February 2013. That's John for

the second time and Hank for the first

time. It was for the signing of...not Paper

Towns, The Fault in Our Stars. The

Fault in Our Stars book, I think, was the

paperback? Yeah, it was the paperback and

it was a great show because it was in

this expensive hallway. Talked for

like an hour and a half and I

remember the football was on, I think the

superbowl, as well there was a lot

of sports stuff going on. I remember Hank

you talking about he found the Superbowl

without commercials being a bit weird

over here and that, because in America

they show the Super Bowl and have all

these commercials. And then, well, I met

him and I was thinking like, "John's

probably forgot." John

remembered me and he told Hank

and then Hank just got out of his seat

and hugged me. I wish I had a video of

that to be honest with you. I can only tell

it from fact so some people say I'm alive,

but I'm not. So, that's my big road

and also some of the things of meeting

the Vlogbrothers really to be honest with you.

And the road has been quite long and a

bit narrow, and also a bit tough, as well,

because I'm more of an underground one.

If people ask me what type of

nerdfighter I am, I'm an underground one,

which you know I don't follow to the

beat of the mainstream. I'm more someone

near that. I like

mainstream stuff like Doctor Who and

that, but I followed to the beat of my

own drum and if there was a

Project for Awesome, I will follow the

rule stat, but anything else with Nerdfighteria

and all that sort of stuff, I would

probably do fifty-fifty. As

long as it's for a good cause and

that's what this story is basically

about. Just telling you my road into Nerdfighteria

and I'm glad though to be a

part of it, even though I'm not on it as much

as I used to be and I may be off doing

other things, and maybe busy with life, I

still respect the Nerdfighteria culture. I

still thank John and Hank

for all the help they've done, including making me

want to do autism videos.

after that whole buzz though for

my 2008 project for awesome and my 2009

videos talking about the National

Autistic Society. And I'm forever

grateful for them on that. You never ever

net food from their plate in my view.

They've given me food from their plate. I

will never ever take any food from their

plate. That's just an expression that

goes and that's how my journey felt and

I'm really, really proud to be a Nerdfighter,

even though not as strong as I once

was, but I still believe that it was part

of that culture that made me kind of

like a Project for Awesome veteran as one

of my friends say, or legend, I don't know.

We'll have to wait and see. It's down to

the people or Nerdfighteria that can

say that. And also John and Hank green at

the end of the day. Take care, everyone! Peace!

Women Created MGTOW - Duration: 5:02.

There is a mistaken assumption that MGTOW is some organized core of vocal men evangelizing

other men to abandon marriage and relationships.

This is not true.

MGTOW is little but a rally flag; it is a group in the same way that those who hold

a driver's license are a group.

MGTOW is a product of women.

Men who come to call themselves MGTOW have fundamentaally come to the same conclusions

about women, relationships, the legal system and so on.

What they learned is that marriage is a scam; a legal mechanism of wealth transfer from

the man to the woman.

They see this scam rip apart men's lives all around them.

They do not learn this FROM the MGTOW community.

They bring these observations INTO the community.

They see women, who, of their own free will, with glee and a sense of justified righteousness

choose to exploit anti-male laws in family courts to fuck men out of money and their

children.

Furthermore, relationships with women are no better.

As the phases of a relationship move from dating, to co-habitation, engagement, and

marriage, a steady stream of ever growing expectations and demands is placed upon the

man.

His time becomes monopolized by a slow creep of "responsibilities" hoisted upon him by

threat of arguments, pouting, and withholding of sex.

This is done gradually but inevitably.

It may take a woman a decade to completely break a man's spirit and replace it with the

banal mediocrity of her image of what he ought to be and what he ought be doing as a "real

man."

Once he is completely crushed by this long siege, nothing is left of him but a beast

of burden who is meant to bring home an ever larger paycheck so they can go on "vacation"

or get that new living room set.

When you look into the eyes of a man in a "successful" marriage/relationship that has

lasted a decade or more, all you see is sorrow and regret for a wasted life.

This man would all but have killed himself by then had he not, for all those years, kept

the single belief in mind that this life, the life he led, is what a happy life is supposed

to look like.

Knowing no better, as he has long ago dismissed his youthful joys and adventures as "childish",

he sits in his mental prison in anticipation of death.

What MGTOW does is rally men to a single flag where they can all share these most obvious

observations that have been all around them.

Each man in the MGTOW community shares their observations, which, when pointed out, are

immediately accessible to other MGTOW through a reflection on their own autobiographies.

Why MGTOW is global and why is it unstoppable is not because MGTOW men are converting other

men.

It is because women are the same the world around, and THEY convert men into MGTOW by

virtue of their nature.

MGTOW are of all races, all cultures, and all ages.

It is composed of millionaires alphas who have had hundreds of women and also neckbeards

who may still be virgins living in their parents basement.

The thing that terrifies women the most is not that MGTOW is composed of loser virgins

but that in fact it is replete with men that women would deem winners and marriage material.

MGTOW have taken their lives back.

Shaming will not work on us.

Neither will some herd morality appeal to being a "real man", or an "adult", or this

or that .. blah blah blah.

It just does not work anymore.

MGTOW is not a controlled demolition of the apotheosized woman by a small vocal group

of men.

It is a global wild fire fueled by the oxygen of women's behavior.

To snuff MGTOW, if this is really your goal, you will need to do the one thing you will

never do; bring women to heel.

Since no detractor dare even whisper such a solution much less lay any responsibility

at the feet of women, everyone will need to get used to the idea that MGTOW is here to

stay and that it is growing immensely every single year.

But I do have some consoling words for our fine MGTOW detractors.

Within a generation or two there will no longer be men calling themselves MGTOW.

There will be no need, as what we call MGTOW knowledge today will be called common-knowledge

then and the MGTOW life will just be known as life.

All that need to happen for this prediction to come true, is to continue to let women

be women.

Thanks for listening.

Go team.

- We went to bed quite late last night,

and then we was up again early this morning

because time is money, and I'm shattered.

So unbelievably tired.

What we've got finished is what we can sell

and we have to make rent and we have to pay the grocer.

- Got quite a bit to get down.

Maggie's working on the shoes.

I'm working on the caps,

and I've got some alterations to do afterwards.

Hopefully we'll sell it.

- And we haven't eaten yet

and actually it's non-negotiable,

you just give the children the food,

and I'm sure my ancestors would be more concerned

for my grandparents to be fed.

They were successful in that

because my mum had a very nice life,

and I've got a very nice life,

so what they sacrificed there to work so hard

and you still all that has paid off.

It's just a shame they're not here to see it, sorry.

I'm sorry.

BLOCKBUSTERS 2018: The 15 Most Anticipated Movies of 2018 - Duration: 13:27.

The summer movie season is about to be finally kicked off!

Last year we gave you a list of blockbusters, that we were lookin forward to in 2017.

And while we are still anticipating most of these movies, we could not sit still and already

took a first look at 2018.

Because that year also seems to have a lot in store for us when it comes to blockbusters.

Which is why we now present you our top 15 blockbusters, that we are lookin forward to

in 2018.

Number 15 Ready Player One A dark future, a virtual reality and a scavenger

hunt, that would even make Indy jeallous - and all of that directed by Steven Spielberg.

That is exactly what Ready Player One the adaptation of Ernest Clines debutorial

novel is.

In it the creator of the virtual reality Oasis invites gamers to a scavenger hunt in order

to solve three riddles and to become rich and famous.

The book is filled with pop cultural and 80's references whether old cartoons, movies,

video games or songs; everything is covered.

And Steven Spielberg should feel right at home with that concept.

Since this is where the Goonies meet Indy, Tron and War games.

We are definitely in for a treat with the return of hollywoods masteful director.

Number 14 Tomb Raider Lara Croft is back!

The tough adventurer is set to return to the big screen again.

This time Lara will not be portrayed by Angelina Jolie but Ex-Machina star Alicia Vikander.

The reboot promises to give us a young Lara, who just like in the game reboot has to learn

to become a tough hero.

We expect a action, adventure and a great Lara Croft and maybe finally a great video

game adaptation.

Number 13 The Predator While the xenomorph is rieking havoc this

year on the big screen in Alien Covenant, we are already anticipating another iconic

alien killer.

The Predator is back!

The new film will be directed by Shane Black who both played Hawkins in the first film

and helped out with the oneliners.Starring will be Boyd Holbrook, who many viewers will

recognize as the villain from Logan.

Other cast additi ons include Olivia Munn, who will portray a scientist and Jacob Trembley

who many will remember from Room.

The little boy will apparently play a crucial role in the battle against the hunter.

We are pumped.

Number 12 The Incredibles 2 It's finally happening!

Pixars The Incredibles finally gets a sequel!

It has been 13 years since we were introduced to the family Parr.

Fans wanted a sequel to Brad Birds action packed animated feature from the get go.

And in times in which even Cars gets a third film it seemed almost unfair to deny us

this sequel.

The Incredibles offered great characters, entertaining humor and stunning visual effects.

Some people even refer to it as the best fantastic four adaptation yet.

Let's see how the sequel will turn out to be!

Number 11 Jurassic World 2 In 1993 Steven Spielberg made film history

when he adapted Michael Crightons novel about a theme park with living dinosaurs.

In 2015 the sequel reboot was finally released after years of announcing it.

The sequel to that film is set to hit the theatres next summer.

Nothing regarding the plot has been revealed as of now but it has been confirmed that both

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their perspective roles once more.

The dinosaur fun can begin!

Number 10 Bad Boys for Life Will it or won't it?

That questioned burned in the minds of the fans of the bad boys franchise for years!

But now it's official!

Next november will mark the return of our two favorite cops to the big screen_ Will

Smith & Martin Lawrence aka Mike Lowrey & Markus Burnett!

The cult classic from 1995 helped a young Will Smith to set foot in hollywood and the

2003 sequel amazed fans as well.

The anticipation to see the two buddy cops in action once more fills us with joy!

But it doesn't end there - sony already announced a 4th film.

When that film will come out though has yet to be announced.

Number 9 Fantastic Beasts and where to find them 2

Our number 9 spot is set to be magical.

Because part 2 of the harry potter prequel series has already been confirmed.

This time around Johnny Depp aka Geller Grindelwald is set to be at the center of the story.

Grindelwald was already introduced as an antagonist in the first film.

Aside from that Jude Law has been confirmed to portray a younger version of Dumbledore.

Eddy Redmayne will once again star as Newt Scamander.

The film is set to be a little darker than the first one.

Number 8 Aquaman DC will give us Wonder Woman and Justice League

this year.

The latter will formally introduce us to Aquaman.

And judging by the trailer Jason Momoa seems to be a pretty good Arthur Curry.

His own film will feature Amber Heard as Mera and Nicole Kidman as Atlanta, Aquamans mother.

Two villains will appear in the film.

While Black Manta will act as a secondary villain, the ocean master portrayed by Patrick

willson will be the primary antagonist of the film.

Helming the film will none other than The Conjuring director James Wan.

We can't wait to witness the adventures of the seven seas.

Number 7 Black Panther Aside from the already established marvel

heroes , we are looking forward to King T'Challa himself.

Black Panther was an absolute badass in the Civil War of our heroes and will now finally

receive his own movie, that for the most part will take place in Wakanda.

There the authority of the king will be undermined by the sinister Erik Killmonger (played by

Creed aka Michael B Jordan), which will lead to a fight.

Other cast additions include Lupita Nyong'o, Forest Whitaker and The Walking Dead star

Danai Gurira.

Familiar faces of the MCU will also be seen in the film.

Martin Freeman will reprise his role from Captain America Civil War and Andy Serkis

will portray the villain Ulysees Claw again, who was introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Creed director Ryan Coogler will helm the film which iis one more reason to look forward

to Black Panther.

Number 6 MI6 Attention Spyfans!

Ethan Hunt and his IMF agents are back!

Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie is going to direct his second Mission Impossible

film and brings back the majority of the cast again.

While veterans to the franchise Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames will both star once more,

the film will also bring back Simon Peggs Benji, Rebecca Fergusons Ilsa and Alec Baldwins

Alan.

Newcomer to the franchise is superman star Henry Cavill.

We assume, that the film will once again offer breathtaking stunts, spygadgets and humor.

We will definitely accept this mission.

After all it took tom cruise an entire year to prerpare for one particular action sequence.

And that is sayin a lot!

Number 5 Pacific Rim: Uprising

A real surprise in terms of blockbuster cinema was 2013s Pacific Rim.

Many viewers described guillermo del toros action film as Power Rangers for adults,

which is definitely a compliment.

Amazing visuals, great action sequences and non stop monster fun these are the things

that made the film so special.

The sequel is now upon us.

And aside from Charlie Hunnam and Idris Elba the whole cast is set to return.

New cast additions are Scott Eastwood and John Boyega who are set to be the new lead

characters.

3 new jaegers have already been announced.

That sounds like fun.

Number 4 Venom Just after the third onscreen spider man has

made the jump into the MCU, sony announces , that one of the most iconic villains of

the webcrawler will receive his own film: Venom.

This film will not be part of the MCU though, which is why we will not see Tom Holland in

it.

A venom film has been discussed for years . After all the character offers enough for

a standalone movie.

Whether or not Venom will be a pure villain or rather an anti hero has not been announced

yet.

Who will portray Eddie Brock is also not certain yet.

Even though Zack Efron tweeted that he was cast as Eddie Brock, but he did so one day

before the first of april and deleted his tweet shortly after.

We believe hed make a good Edde Brock though.

What do you think?

Let us know in the comment section below!

Number 3 Han Solo What would be a blockbuster list without a

star wars film?

Damn right, it would be boring.

Which is why our favorite smuggler made our list as well.

After Rogue One it is Han to receive his second anthology film in the world of star wars.

The movie is set to explore the origins of Han Solo.

Stepping in the footsteps of Harrison Ford is Alden Ehrenreich, who will portray a younger

version of the iconic character.

Both Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian will also appear in the film.

The latter will be played by communitys Donald Glover.

Other castmembers include Thandie Newton and Woody Harrelson, who will play a mentor figure

to Han.

We expect the film to introduce us to the nasty criminal world within Star Wars a little

better.

We want cool oneliners, the kessel run and a relatable yet cunning main characer.

We can't wait to meet the new Han.

Number 2 Deadpool 2 In 2015 20th Century Fox surprised us all

with the weirdest super hero of all time Deadpool.

The movie was a success and Ryan Reynolds was born to play that character.

Thanks to the R-Rating the film featured a dark sense of humor, bloody action sequences

and crude language.

And the first teaser for Deadpool 2 promises to give us exactly that again.

We are also anticipating the introduction of Cable, who will be played by Josh Brolin.

Cable is set to stir things up a little.

Number 1 Avengers Infinity War If we choose to believe in Marvel-master mind

Kevin Feige, this film has been planned ever since the first Iron Man - the ultimate clash

between all of the heroes of the MCU and the most evil of all villains Thanos.

Thanos has been teased long enough now we want to see him in all of his evil glory.

He movie promises to unite the avengers with spider-man and the guardians of the galaxy

and that alone should be reason enough to be excited.

We assume that this film will initiate the end of an era, since many of the actors' contracts

will be expired after infinity war part 2.

Therefore it is possible that some of our characters may die in the film.

If that was Feiges plan all along we want to see it come to fruition.

What do you think of these blockbusters?

Which ones are you lookin forward to the most let us know in the comment section below

Today I have another idea for you for how you can make your own findings for your jewelry

out of polymer clay and this is a simple way to make bead cones.

So if you've been making jewelry for a while, you've probably come across bead cones made

out of metal and you can use them to make multi-strand jewelry.

You can use them as bead caps.

There's lots of things you can do with them, but sometimes in our polymer clay work we

want to make something custom that goes with our polymer clay pendants.

The metal is nice, but sometimes we just want to make our own thing.

The two most difficult shapes that I have found to locate amongst my household items

are cone shapes and ovals, but I was sitting the other day, looking around trying to think

of what I could use for a cone shape and my eyes went over to my little carousel of supplies

and I said "oh look at that, pencils!"

So you can see these are sharpened two different ways and they give you two different looks.

There's this one that's less deep and a little shorter and then there's this one that's longer

and just a bit more of a tapered angle for bead cones and it's really simple to do.

All you need is some clay and depending on what you do, the color may or may not matter

because you can treat these however you want.

You may have noticed I used kind of a greenish clay, but I covered it with Perfect Pearls

in Perfect Gold.

Others you can paint.

You can use surface effects, like patinas, anything you would do to your polymer clay

to transform the color and look of the surface you can do with these bead caps.

So here's a little bit of clay that I just made sure was conditioned.

There's a couple ways you can roll out your snakes to make your caps and one is just to

do it by hand and then just keep working it and do your best to get it as even as you

possibly can.

Here's a cap that I made using that method and you can tell it isn't perfectly even,

but you might like this look.

If you want to make sure that your clay snake is perfectly even, use something like an acrylic

block that's used for rubber stamping.

Light pressure and kind of pulling and stretching until you have a nice even snake.

And here's the difference.

This one I did with the snake that I used the acrylic block on and this one I did with

it rolled by hand.

And I wouldn't say either one is better than the other.

They just have two very different looks.

This one's definitely smoother and more even and this one's a little bit more rustic and

artsy.

This one would probably look great painted with a Swellegant copper patina and then some

of the green patina over it to sit over it in the cracks.

So it's just a different look, whether you do not quite so even rolling or really, really

smooth even rolling.

So once you've rolled your snake, then you can start to form it and on the end, roll

it in a nice pointy taper and then you can just start coiling it on your form.

And I found with these wooden pencils I really didn't need any release.

So as you coil it around, just ever so gently tap it down.

Use a really light touch.

Tap it down against the layer beneath.

And make sure you roll out your snakes plenty long because you'll find that you'll use far

more than you think you might.

One of these little ones uses 6-7".

And then when you get to the end, I just use my thumb nail to kind of cut that off.

Unwrap some and then use my fingers to twirl that down to a taper and then we'll coil that

back up and then again just a gentle touch and it comes right off the form and then you

can bake it just like that.

You can add some Perfect Pearls.

So let me show you a few other options.

Here are two cones that I made on this pencil.

You can see that they have a very different look.

This one was much thinner coils and this one was with thicker coils.

Same exact process and procedure.

A very different appearance.

Here's one I did on the shorter one and I just dusted it with some Interference Violet

Perfect Pearls.

If you're looking for bigger cones, most of us who do polymer clay probably have a bottle

of liquid clay hanging around, and you can use this for a form, but because of all the

ridges and the shapes, what you'll need is to cover it with something.

And just as smoothly as you can, I covered and kind of pinched those and smoothed that

and then smoothed the other side around and just smooth it out as nicely as you can and

that's what I used to build this one.

This one used about 20" of clay.

It could have used, I think I used 17 and then ran out so I needed a little bit more

to make it really as long as I wanted.

And then once you have your clay on there, you can actually lift this right off the bottle

(you don't want to bake your bottle) and then bake it on the foil.

Here's another shape cone on the Fimo Deco Gel and I used that to make this one that

kind of makes me think of something from Dr. Seuss.

This one's kind of fun.

Now if you don't want to see the ridges, what you can do is, let's see, this one was built

on here, is after you get it all coiled, just gently flatten and smooth.

You want to be very gentle because as you do it, you can see that you end up making

your cap a little bit bigger than the form and it can grow very quickly and really be

distorted if you press on it too hard.

So you just gently work your way around.

Now this isn't perfectly smooth.

So if I wanted it perfectly smooth, I'd probably get it about this flat, bake it and then add

another layer of clay over this after it's baked.

And of course you can decorate these any way you like with slices of canes, swirls and

dots, surface effective veneers like mokume gane.

This is just kind of a fun idea, something you can do to make your clay work even more

individual and unique and make your own findings.

Tonight Samuel will sing vs Juliette "La groupie du pianist" - Michel Bergé

Stop! It's too pretty. It's not too romantic, neither too upset. It's just cool.

Juliette doesn't know anything about her voice, Which is much more powerful. She's astonished every time she hears it.

Come on! This is a Battle!

Aaa, after his 2 lines you stopped singing.

This is a Battle ! And you've lost!

What is the new Center for Women's History? - Duration: 1:40.

So often we think that women's stories

are kind of written out of history. They're not

really -- they're just not amplified in

quite in the way that we'd like to do that.

Anyone walking into the New-York

Historical Society that's interested in

history should also be interested in

what we're going to be launching on the

fourth floor.

The Center for Women's History is a

groundbreaking initiative which the

New-York Historical Society is launching

this year as the first institution that

has committed itself within the walls

of a museum to studying women's central

role in American history and in

society writ large. At any step along the

historical continuum, women were there.

We make up 51 percent of the population so

clearly there is some contribution that

they were making that often is just not

in the history books. We want to right

that wrong or at least reorient

the way people look at history -- in fact

enhance as opposed to marginalize women

from history, a more holistic approach to

the way we look at the narratives of the past.

Every month will be Women's History

Month at the New-York Historical Society.
