DCS: M2000C Misil Super 530 #9 Tutorial - English subtitles - Duration: 12:11.

hi, welcome again to Revientor Reborn channel

this is a M2000C in DCSw

today we are speaking about the Super530

it´s a semi active missile

for that we are going to need the aircraft radar support until the missile impact

radar on, there are few targets, 1 at 80nm HOT and other to 20 COLD

the idea is to explain how it works this missile

we have 2 panels in to use

this one

with the auto/g/d switch

PAR and TOT

and this button

you can see the lecture MIS

this means the system know there is a Super 530 loaded

if there was no Super 530 will be off

when I push this button the P is flashing

that means a TEST is on going, around 45 seconds

I can click it again to cancel

same for the magic missile

now, with out that P the missile is not available

but... IF i forgot use that button due the ramp start or what ever, no problem....

when master ARM on and the S530 selected, is going available automatically, performing the test first

also you can see on the HUD the flash lecture of 530 while performing the test

45 second of test, you can cancel to standby the weapon

why use that button to stand by the missile?

PCA is the left console and PPA is the right one

we can use the PPA console to set the missiles standby for long travels, air refueling, or other contingencies

you can decide to have the missile ready from taxi, as you want is only for safety

the test is over, and the P is steady

we can use the PAR or TOT mode

in par you will shoot just one missile

in TOT you will shoot both missiles

only if we keep the trigger shoot button pressed

you will fire the first missile and 2 seconds later, if the trigger still pressed the second missile will be shot

while TOT mode, if you press ans release the trigger when the firs missile is fired, the second one will not be launched

this button also works in conjunction with the cannon, for that the reason to set the desired preference

in par mode

the firs missile will be released at 0.8 seconds, and the second one 2 second later, that 0.8 depends of the radar mode, could be 0.6

this is a time safety to avoid undesired released

while waiting for the contacts to speak about the HUD

this other button

auto, g gauche- left, d droite-wight

that is about S530 to select what station fire

G is left one

and D is the right one

in auto, the plane decide, with preference on the left

when you have the target locked on the radar on your right, auto will use the right missile

if the target is on your nose the left one will be the selected

if the target is on the left, the left one will be selected

we are waiting for this su27 and the other target...

let´s x2 DCS

now we can talk about the HUD

on the right is the DLZ

DLZ is in relation with the radar scale according the target distance

because the contact is 43nm the radar distance minimal must be 80

this [ do not mean we are on fire range

the important there are the horizontal lines

now because the target is 40 or less the DLZ scale is 40

we can set the radar to 40 with any problem

let´s read the HUD

the missile is in auto, and the right one will be fired

because the contact is slightly on the right

this 55 is the time to the missile to reach the target

while out of rage will be always 55 sec

in range, when you shoot you will see that number change and be smaller than the presented before the launch

that value is updated and is trusty

the < is where in the DLZ the missile is

while out (up zone) of that gross line yhe missile is not in rage

remember this is a medium range missile and semi-active

while under the gross line and up the "long" line

the missile is in range but in the zone where the target turn around and you will miss the missile

under this long line, the missile will arrive the target beside if turn around or not

this other small line means if you shoot under that line, the missile will not be ready to detonate or maneuver to get the contact (around 500 feet)

because we are speaking about the missile, I am not going to talk about the radar

just say in PID mode the missile is nos guided, when you want to shoot you manually have go STT or firing the missile the radar goes automatically to PPD-STT

unpausing

this 175 is the radar aspect

because we are in opposite headings it 180, in this case 175 because we are not just opposite

now if I move the plane to the right, the target goes to the left and the selected missile is the left one

you can set it manually

in TOT mode, both missiles are selected as you can see

and this small S to remember that we are in TOT mode

normal mode

nothing bad will happen to keep it in TOT

right missile for example

or just auto

meanwhile, according the manual this button over here, auto or blank, does nothing, it´s not implemented

it´s is not needed in the M2000C, I suppose this is a panel that is common in other plane

it´s still in 55 seconds

meanwhile, remember when you are in TOT mode the time between missile and missiles is 2 seconds

18nm, in range, the time is now counting

I am going to shoot

the radar is going to be automatic in PIC mode

I like that in this radar

that automatically when you are going to fire, the radar STT lock is done

15 second until impact

the other one is 40 second

10 seconds

6 seconds until impact

this means the contact is in the non escape range

and TIR lecture

just wait 6 seconds

as you see this is a kind of combat with in 1 Vs 1 you will be really close to the enemy

for that to use this missile we have to use the wing mag wisely

too coordinate and try not end in a dogfight fight

just that

nothing more to tell, as you see the workload is not too much

now we can put the missile in stand by

then refuel just navigate.... what ever...

when the S30 is selected when is not ready, in the HUd will be flashing

beside here is the S of selected iluminated

let unselect and reselect again

the bit is automatically don

if we do a selective jettison

I don´t know if I can eyect AA ordnance

yes there it goes!!!

I did that just to show you the color of this label

finally, that is all, from this missile, Super thirty

and the important point how the radar automatically goes to STT

for that when you fire a missile you will lose all the info of the other contacts

if you shoot a contact and have other target near, you will loose the target not locked

because the mode change to PPI

you can loose the SA of where other enemies are

ERASMUS EXPERIENCE: MOVING IN (AGAIN) - SUB ENG - - Duration: 11:26.

and today I'm here, in a new location

to show you my new house.

Basically it's a room

but I had many problems with the other flat

so I had to move again whilst I'm on Erasmus.

I'm still in Granada, in Spain

and... I moved further away, so now I live a bit further from uni

but I really had to because of the following problems:

the other flat started to get moldy EVERYWHERE,

the owner didn't give a shit about me,

some huge insects started coming off the water...

I mean, from the tap and once from the toilet,

I was so scared and I started getting ill

I had some health problems

So I finally moved out!

And it's also for this reason that I didn't make any video

in the last couple of weeks, since I uploaded the last one

But I started to think about new videos

I wanna make more videos about Italy,

so please, for the next video, that will be about Italian supertitions,

leave me a comment with the supertitions you believe in

or the ones you've heard of

I will add the weirdest ones in the video.

And now, let's start with the tour (of my room).

Ok, first of all, it will be difficult for me

as I am holding the camera from the tripode,

and my camera doesn't have the screen you can turn to see yourself

cause there's 3 wardrobes but no room for food and kitchen stuff

and I don't know if you can hear it but it echoes in here

so this echo, when you sing in the shower is perfect.

I make some concerts in there

I could make a party in here.

During summer, we'll make a party.

We need to comment on some of these tiles.

They've been put randomly but

when I shower I have philosophical thoughts

So I decided that this is a fake Vaporeon,

mixed with Anastasia's bats.

(That cartoon...which ISN'T DISNEY)

Then I've decided that this is Pedobear

with an upside down face which is also a chandelier

Like that pokemon, Scyther *Doesn't know how to pronounce it*

For the rest, they're just random

and it annoys me that they don't continue the drawings.

For example, here the sun doesn't have an end, it's annoying!
