I Want To Be A Music Teacher

At Community Music, 'I Want To Be A Music Teacher' or 'I Want To Teach Music'

are statements that get brought up quite a lot.

- Although it is not unrealistic to want to become a music teacher, being mentally prepared

for this career path is the thing that will actually gear you forward to becoming one.

- So, we are here to ask you some questions that you may not have thought about, hopefully

helping you to a clearer vision, enabling you to embark on your journey towards becoming

a music teacher.

- Firstly, this may be the most obvious question but it it will probably be the hardest one

to answer.

And that is:

- Why Do You Want To Be A Music Teacher?

- 'For the money' is not a legitimate answer.

- If that was your first though, then teaching probably isn't for you.

Sorry!

- Think about the first time you said to yourself "I want to be a music teacher'?

- Once you have established why you want to become a music teacher, the following questions

will hone in on the specifics of music teaching.

- Next up is:

- Are You Qualified?

- Different levels of teaching require different levels of qualification in order to do so.

- Check out our video 'How Long Does It Take To Become A Music Teacher' which gives

you a breakdown of what qualifications you need for different types of teaching and how

long it takes to acquire them.

- What Difficulty Level Do You Want To Teach At?

- You may want to teach according to a curriculum in Schools where the maximum difficulty level

is set.

- Or you may want to teach an 18+ music technology course where students can surpass the basic

understanding very quickly and start testing your knowledge.

- This leads on nicely to the next question:

- Do You Know Enough About A Certain Subject To Be Able To Teach It At Higher Levels?

- The word 'enough' in this sense, means that you have sufficient experiences within

that topic as well as the knowledge, being able to reference real life situations to

back up what you are teaching.

- At What Intensity Do You Want To Teach?

- Do you want to teach in terms and semesters (Schools, Colleges, Universities) over a year

or 2?

- Or would you prefer teaching an intensive weekend course?

- Or would you rather teach a student on a particular instrument 1 evening a week?

- How Many Students Would You Like In Your Class?

- You may prefer teaching one to one.

- Or you may thrive in the element of teaching to a large number of people on a subject you're

passionate about.

- It depends on how you feel you teach best.

- Some people are great teachers in small classes but get nervous and shy in front of

larger groups.

- What Age Range (If Any) Do You Want To Teach To?

- For teaching in schools, you will be teaching to age ranges and not by ability & in many

cases, people who may not even care about the subject.

- For certain age ranges, you will also need an enhanced DBS check.

- Saying 'I want to be a music teacher' comes with all of these other questions and

more.

- You may feel that you're ready to teach so now is the time to think about all the

rest that comes with it.

- You need to be mentally prepared for a career in teaching so it's best to get a head start

now!

- Saying 'I want to be a music teacher' is a great start to becoming one BUT as you

are probably well aware after this video, there is a lot more to think about.

- If you managed to answer these questions with ease, then you are probably ready to

start your new career path.

- So get yourself qualified!

S. Korea successfully test launches new 800 km-range missile - Duration: 1:33.

South Korea successfully tested the latest addition to its arsenal.

A missile that can target any location in North Korea.

Kim Hyun-bin introduces to us Seoul's first extended range ballistic missile.

South Korea has successfully test launched a new, homegrown 800-kilometer-range ballistic

missile.

This is a threat to North Korea, as the missile can target all of the regime's key facilities

when fired from the South.

If fired from the South's southernmost island of Jeju, the missile can reach Sinuiju, a

North Korean city bordering China.

The new missile is the result of a 2012 deal between Seoul and Washington, in which South

Korea agreed to extend the range of its ballistic missiles to 800 kilometers, more than double

the previous 300 kilometers.

"In accordance with the agreement between Seoul and Washington in 2012, we have developed

an 800-kilometer-range ballistic missile that can carry a 500-kilogram warhead.

I cannot give details on the specifics."

According to Seoul-based Yonhap News on Thursday, citing a defense source, the missile tested

was a Hyunmoo missile... and the test took place at the missile test site of the Agency

for Defense Development in Anheung, Gyeonggi-do Province.

Defense Minister Han Min-koo reportedly inspected the launch... and the missile was said to

have met all requirements for a normal test -- including flight and accuracy.

South Korea currently has several Hyunmoo-type missiles in its arsenal,... including the

Hyunmoo-2A, the Hyunmoo-2B and the Hyunmoo-3,... which have ranges of 300, 500 and one-thousand

kilometers.

The news comes just a day after North Korea's latest launch of a ballistic missile, which

flew 60 kilometers before landing in the East Sea.

Hyundai IONIQ - test - Jest Pięknie za kierownicą - Duration: 6:16.

One of my fav TV series of all time is Weeds. I loved Nancy and her misadventures.

I loved the blue Prius she drove and wanted one as well.

But wait, this isn't Prius, it's a Hyundai Ioniq!

Ioniq is Hyundai's first attempt at mass produced hybrid and electric cars.

I drove a hybrid, but there's also electric version available.

The hybrid in this case means the electric motor and the petrol motor run together in order to produce optimal output.

In some cases, the car can run on electric only, on short distances

In other cases, petrol engine is not only running the car but also charges the electric batteries to use it later, while accelerating.

Let's take a look inside

443 litres, no hooks that I like so much, but there's an elastic net, very practical if you want to put a small shopping bag or a bottle of wine in the boot

The opening is high.... Ah, there you go.

And a slide preventing the world from peeking inside

The car has a lot of room in the back - especially of the driver is not 2 metres tall

Nothing special, huh? Except for this: heated back seats!

There's also an arm rest, a place to put one's mug etc.

So, let's see how it feels behind the wheel of Ioniq

This version comes with electric seats with memory function

What else does it have? Quite a lot of space inside

Here, for example

My phone fits here - moreover, it can be charged wirelessly!

My sunnies fit here

There's my coffee mug

And here's sth I don't usually find in cars. This is instruction manual, but a tablet will easily fit in here - excellent for traveling salespeople.

I drove most of the Priuses, including the newest one.

And sadly, my love of the eco-ugly duckling subsided a bit.

Because a Prius is slooooow.

Or rather - that's the feeling you get because of the CVT gearbox, the one that makes noises like a lawnmower

So any acceleration feels like an inconvenience.

Ioniq is equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox, so it feels more dynamic.

Although it's slower than a Prius

I drove Ioniq in the city and to the suburbs, and yes, dynamic driving is possible.

As for visibility, it's OK, A pillar is not blocking my view entirely

Which is not sth I can say about many cars

As for backwards visibility, there's no problem thanks to the camera. If there was none, this strange, dual glass would be a concern, probably.

But with a camera, there's no problem at all.

Hybrid cars are supposed to be cost-effective and eco-friendly.

Opponents remind about the problem with storing used batteries.

But first hybrid cars are still fully functional, and on original batteries

Also, every car manufacturer has a way of re-using old car batteries

For example for storing energy from solar panels installed on roofs

Oh, and by the way, LiPo batteries are used not only in cars (they're used by Hyundai and KIA), but also in smartphones, electric drills and e-cigarettes.

And I don't see anybody complaining about it.

Price-wise, Hyundai Ioniq is similar to Skoda Octavia with 1.0 TSI engine I reviewed recently.

Fuel costs will also be similar, because fuel consumption in 1.0 litre 3-cylinder Skoda engine and in hybrid Ioniq engine are almost the same.

So, there's no obvious upside to buying Hyundai Ioniq

But Hyundai looks futuristic, and Skoda... like a Skoda

Book writing tips for bloggers - Convert Blog To Book - Duration: 4:20.

hi Jodi Brandon here of Jodi Brandon

editorial welcome to my Channel today

we're talking all about going from blog to book

repurposing is a big buzzword today in the online creative world

I'm sure it's one that you've heard a lot

about and it makes perfect sense you do

the work once and you maximize what you

can get out of it and this really

applies well to writing especially going

from blog writing to book writing so

we've talked before about the ways that

book can help your business grow and

establish your authority and increase

your credibility and all of those great

things but you might be wondering how

you're going to do that or how you're

going to get those all those words

written that it's a lot of words right

so I bet you'd be surprised if you took

a look back through your blog and saw

all of the relevant material you might

have that you can just repurpose there

it is the magic word right here's what I

recommend you do I was bad that your

blog has several categories anywhere

from you know four or five up to you

know seven or eight depending on

depending on what your industry is so

take a look maybe you already sort your

editorial calendar this way if you don't

this would be a great a great exercise

also to do so you take those categories

and you see what posts you have under

each category so for example i wrote

actually a blog post about one from

logbook and it was under the general

writing category and also the writing

tips category so those are two of the

categories on my blog so you get the

idea so you see what you have under each

category and which categories you know

maybe have the most topics about them

and then you want to see which topics

and which posts get the most engagement

from your readers because those are

obviously the subject areas that they're

most interested in learning more about

so once you have those you can sort

start to see how both table of contents

could come together based on those those

ideas you know how how they fit together

now I'm not saying that you simply are

going to you know slap those balls close

together and you

magically have a book that's absolutely

not the case please don't misunderstand

but once you have those posts mapped out

in an outline form you can see you know

what follows each other logically which

chapter might go which idea for a

chapter might go before one or after

another and you can start start to see

how a book might take shape and then

really breaking them actual blog post

the blog post title that might be a book

chapter headings within that blog post

might be subheads within a chapter and

then it's just a matter of seeing where

you need to fill in obviously a book is

a lot more words than you know well even

the longest blog posts are not tens of

thousands of words I hope and if you're

doing that please stop so you are going

to have to fill in words and material

but what you do is you get everything

you know sort of flushed out and the

order you think makes sense for a book

and then you see where there where are

their points that I could expand on that

where are their points where I could add

an example from you know a recent client

experience that I could add in there too

you have to illustrate that point and

expand on it so where's the blog post

you're not trying to you know I'm not

saying it's filler but a blog post

people are trying to you know get in get

out reading quickly where's a book you

do have the room and you know the times

to get into more detail and more

examples and more you know evidence to

back up your points so and all of that

can come you know the starting point can

come for your blog post and then you

sort of see where you have to fill in so

it's it's not rocket science and it's

not that complicated to do once you have

you know the general structure and you

do that by going through that exercise

that we just talked about with the with

the blog categories and I thought when

you do that you'll find that you have a

lot more material than you thought and a

much much stronger base from which to

start writing a book so if I can help

him anyway you know where to find me I

would love it if you would subscribe to

the channel leave me a note that the

comments let me know what you think

about this video and

if I can help you in any way please be

sure to reach out Thanks

Installing Magnets / BJD Live - Duration: 1:59.

Let's talk about magnets!

Many of our dolls use magnetic joint system

developed my Svetlana Germanova.

Thanks to this system

swapping heads only takes seconds.

In this video we will talk about how magnets should be installed

if you are assembling one our dolls yourself.

Take the part with the socket and install the ball joint.

Ball joints are designed to be tight

so it's normal that you have to put in some effort.

The material we use is very solid,

but it's still possible to break it if you push super hard.

So if you feel it's not working,

try widening the socket ever so slightly with a knife.

The joint goes in and you can work it a little to loosen it up.

One goes into the socket and the other into the head.

Any strong glue should be fine.

Here we also use sandpaper

because the magnet went too deep into the socket

and we need it to be right on the edge.

It's very important to get the polarity right with the second magnet.

If you make a mistake magnets will obviousy repel each other

and once a magnet is glued in

it almost impossible to take it out.

For the head magnet we use glue pistol

to create a layer of glue around the magnet.

It's sometimes necessery

if a magnet is a little too small for the socket.

Give the glue a little time to dry and that's it.

The head should click into position.

Создание воды на макете - Duration: 5:52.

Good day to all

I continue to make scenery on bridge module

and in this video I'm going to do water

the idea is not mine

I found it with our colleagues from Sweden

marklinofsweden

link to him YT channel in the description of this video

colleague makes an excellent video

on layout decoration

highly recommend

Well, let's start

for the first phase will need

Toilet paper

and diluted 1 to 1 with water PVA glue

apply water-glue mix on the base

and on top apply the toilet paper

apply water-glue mix again

and another layer of toilet paper

again water-glue mix

and a third layer of toilet paper

and last time water-glue mix

the excess paper around the edges can be removed

and until the glue is dry

using a stiff brush

to make a water waves

Here's the structure I got

left to dry until completely dry

then I will paint

I use for painting art acrylic paints

Permanent titanium white

burnt umber

phthalocyanine green

and black

in my case is karelian black

for mixing I use a plastic palette

a lot of paint should not be used immediately

as the paint dries quickly

now I will mix the colors

and paint from light to dark

mix white and umber

and paint it from the edge

I paint the small section

add green

and at the end I add the black

while the paint is still wet

I wet the brush with water

and from light to dark

smoothing colors border

and so gradually I will paint the whole surface

the paint has dried, and I keep

Now I need

water-based gloss lacquer

I use Dulux Celco Aqua 70

at the edges I pasted a masking tape

To ensure that the lacquer does not leak out

using a brush apply a small layer of lacquer

after the lacquer has dried completely

apply second layer

and for it I use PVA glue

glue must be completely dry

then a third layer may be applied

Water-based lacquer

after the third layer has dried

I add a few details

Using white paint

I do whitecaps on the water

by dry brush

Painted upper portion protruding waves

That's all

Thank you for watching

Wheelie tutorial / how to | german with english subtitles - Duration: 4:27.

I got asked to do a wheelie tutorial somewhere in the comments and I accidentally said "yes"

technically there are 100 other tutorials out there but whatever - lets do another one

I'll try to keep it simple lets start with bike setup

saddle position: medium

if it's too high I can't balance to the side and if it's too low it's feeling uncomfortable to ride

what gear?: I got 11 gears and I also chose the middle one

but that depends on personal preference

However it's important to have a good working rear brake for when you fall over

flat pedals make things easier and hardtails aren't bad

to answer the question "can I do a wheelie with bike "xyz" " - yes probably...

if it's not a beachcruiser or even weirder sort of bicycle it should be fine

with some bikes it's easier to learn with other harder... but once you mastered it you'll be able to do it with every bike

for practicing every flat area is good enough

a little uphill is even better but not essential

well then.. step 1

lets pretend we're pedaling somewhere.. leaning towards the front..

over the bars.. and with an explosive movement the whole thing gets started

as soon as you are near the balance point - try to keep your position by pedaling

that's it basically... I'll show you

and again

A common mistake is that people don't build up momentum and just pull the bars and pedal..

they'll get pretty fast and have to drop down soon

well but not anymore - now you know

Well... if you got this dialed you'll notice that the balance to the side is the key task...

I think the best way to keep the balance is by using the knees

same as doing a trackstand

like a chicken

you have to teach your brain "if this happens - do that"

that's a huge cybernetic effort and takes some time... how much depends on the rider

already while starting I'm balancing with my knees

see?

so I mostly use the knees for balancing but you can also do a little bit of steering

but there's no trick to learn that...just practive...

well that was the wheelie tutorial.. The manual tutorial will follow another time since I need another venue

have fun practicing

and if you somehow liked it there's a whip tutorial somewhere and also a switchback tutorial

and the wind is really... well ... cya
