DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS QUANTUM COMPUTATION? - Duration: 8:01.

quantum bits, state overlap, power of 2 nanometers

after all, what is the business of quantum computing?

In principle it is a new way of producing processors

Processors with a very large computational capacity 1

for us we can make prime-time billings, simulate physical events, create artificial intelligences

Finally, in normal computing we have the bits

but in quantum computing we have the qubits or quantum bits

they promise to revolutionize technology so that's what we'll see in today's video

What is quantum computing?

(Introduction)

Singularity - Helping to spread science in Brazil

Hey, what's up, guys? here who speaks is the Vini of the channel Singularity

And today we will talk about quantum mechanics that is a subject that apparently you like very much

because the video on quantum biology reached 200 views

Many thanks to everyone who has enjoyed and shared

probably here in singularity we will begin to take a course on quantum mechanics

equal to the course of astronomy that is being done

In this course of quantum physics we will teach from basic to advanced

In a very didactic way that even if you are 8 or 80 you will be able to understand

Finally comment on this video if you support this idea

In a normal computer we have several parts, each part has a specific function

how to run games, save files, cool down, manage power at last

the main part of the computer is the processor

he would be like the brain of the computer, he manages the pieces as motherboards

hd's, ssd's anyway

He basically does everything

The processors are made of transistors

which would be like mini-processors, they are semiconductors that amplify and interrupt electric current

In other words, turn on or off

This is a binary computation made of zeros and some

all operating systems, video photos, files, texts, all are actually zeros and some

the zeros and ones would be basically the atoms of computing

computing is on a trend of increasingly decreasing its size

That is, having more transistors or more processing in an increasingly smaller space

currently a transistor measures nanometers

This is in the scale of viruses, hemacias, bacteria etc. This is extremely small.

basically every piece in the processor only measures nanometers

Current computing is reaching a physical limit

because when the objects begin to diminish much of size they begin to appear the bizarre quantum effects

That we are not accustomed to large objects

For example already as transistor emits electrical current that fundamentally are electrons

Electrons will produce quantum effects

So they can do tunneling, interlacing, quantum jumps anyway

they can make several bizarrices that leaves computing inefficient

but what would be the solution to this problem?

How to prevent quantum effects?

It is quite simple to use them to our advantage, to make quantum effects the future of computing

This is where the idea of quantum computers comes from

Quantum computers instead of bits that assume zeros, they are made of qubits

or quantum bits

Qubits use a very strange property of quantum mechanics called:

state overlap

This property causes a qubit

can assume the state of 0 or 1 at the same time

This is so strange that it is as if there is a cat that is alive and dead at the same time

But this really happens in the physical world, quantum physics really is well counter intuitive

but it's true

A qubit can assume the state of zero or one at the same time

that is, instead of having a sequential computation we have a simultaneous computation

With this quantum computers can do several things at once

imagine for example a list of phones, on a normal computer

search for the number, testing all possibilities sequentially

already a quantum computer would test all the possibilities at the same time

So it would be much more efficient

The fantastic thing about it is that computing gets exponential

that is, every qubit added doubles the computation

this would be like powers of 2, so if we have 10 qubits ie a processing of 1024 bits

if we add a qubit, that is, we have 11 qubits. this processing doubles to 2048 bits

We can create a gigantic computer made of thousands of qubits

But if we add 1 qubit, this processing will double

this causes the quantum computer to be thousands, billions, quadrillions of times better than a normal computer

This is very interesting.

But what will humanity do with such computational power?

Thinking on the optimistic side

gigantic simulations can be done, we can simulate for example the big bang

currently it is extremely difficult to do these simulations

They have to take into account all physical and mathematical laws in

we can simulate how life came to Earth

D.N.A can be studied in detail

through this we can cure genetic diseases

finally medicine can advance and much

thinking on the pessimistic side

Digital security will have to be reviewed

because, for example, the task of searching for a number in a phone book

can be turned into searching for a password

in a gigantic list of passwords, then with a powerful quantum computer

a person can test thousands of passwords at once

thus basically discovering the password of anyone

A new encryption will need to be created

but this can also revolutionize technology

at the level of creating missiles, atomic bombs, weapons at last

generate even more destructive wars

Quantum computing is neither good nor bad

she will give fate to earth in our hands

if we use it for good, our civilization will advance in an incredible way

but if we use it for evil...

we can lose in an inreversible moment of stupidity

our only home in the universe: the fragile pale blue dot

but quantum computing is currently being somewhat infeasible

scientists do not yet know how to maintain this overlap of states

quantum computing seems likely to be possible in the medium to long term future

so we can not have so much enthusiasm for this

but it may also be that it develops in a way that we do not expect

anyway, this is quantum computing

If you liked the video, leave it to yourself.

Comment on comments if you have any questions, corrections or suggestions

subscribe to the channel so you do not lose any videos like this

These are the social networks of singularity

That's it guys, until the next video and spoke

staff before finishing the video wanted to make a special thank you

to the channel '' astronomical universe '' for having disclosed the channel uniqueness

for having attracted a lot of new people here to the channel, really thank you very much.

I thank you very much for his disclosure.

Uchiha Jiren! Episode 127 Animation Breakdown - Dragon Ball Super - Duration: 10:09.

Welcome back to another Animation Breakdown!

Episode 127 is here – our first venture into the final stages of this tournament.

Only Jiren is left, so if we weren't in climax mode before, we definitely are now!

This first half comes to us from Toei Animation Philippines – specifically Paul Ano-nuevo.

If you watched my staff list video the other day, I was a bit concerned about how Hiroyuki

Itai, one of the other supervisors on this episode, was gonna be able to look after an

entire half after only 4 weeks.

I theorised that Toei Phils may pop up, which would of course make much more sense.

Thankfully they did, and so Itai only needed to supervise a quarter of an episode, along

with Masahiro Shimanuki.

Ano-nuevo's one of the most talented staff members from the Phillipines, and it's not

too surprising then that the bulk of the action in his half is filled with his traits.

His smoke is everywhere, and he seems to have animated the majority of the action in this

half that wasn't reused.

Vegeta and Goku vs Jiren, for example, is all him, and I think it really highlights

the strength of this half's storyboard the most.

It comes to us from Kazuya Karasawa, one of Super's strongest directors – he was responsible

for episode 125 as a whole, so it's nice to see him injecting his directorial quality

into the weaker half of this episode.

The way the fight on the side of the arena is framed is wonderful.

I really like the way characters kinda seamlessly move in and out of the frame – I think 17

knocking Vegeta away, and him landing is one of the best examples of this.

And again with Vegeta punching Jiren with Goku popping up behind him, as well.

I'm not really sure how believable this is all is as far as the no-flying rule goes,

but whatever, it's framed nicely!

The animation itself is passable – it's pretty limited as a whole, with a focus on

effects, and the stuff that's more animated has been reused.

Funnily enough, both reused scenes were originally by Atsushi Nikaido.

The first part comes from episode 124, and it pops up again at the start of the second

half, this time from episode 125.

I have to say, I'm not really listing this as a complaint since with the absence of the

horrendously overdone effects, I can actually see the animation this time around.

I really love Nikaido's intense line work.

In terms of art quality in this half, Takeo Ide, the chief animation supervisor, has more

or less tidied everything up.

As always, his work stands out for being particularly bulky and manly-looking, so unsurprisingly,

he's become a bit of a fan favourite, especially in light of his strong showing in this arc.

Tadayoshi Yamamuro also appears to be here, correcting the opening scenes in particular,

which also houses quite a nice little rotation.

It's pretty cool to see him actually having a visible presence on the series for once,

though I think I probably speak for everyone when I say I wish he would have shown up consistently

throughout this series instead of right at the end.

I'm sure there's a good reason for it, though.

The half wraps up with 17 getting up from an attack before cutting to Goku, and this

is the one section of this half that I'm really unsure about.

It kinda looks like Tu Yong-ce's effects work, and that would explain the art quality

too, but because it's so blurred, and because Ano-nuevo also has quite similar smoke at

times, it's hard for me to say for sure.

Again, because Yamamuro's correcting things, I can't just say it's Tu because of the

artwork, either.

Not sure on this one but it's a nice way to wrap up the half.

That was a pretty solid showing from Toei Phils, and I think the only poor thing that

stood out to me was in that opening scene that I just mentioned.

The animator's layout really killed the scale of the arena that was set last week,

and kinda squashed the impact of the scene.

Jiren went from looming over everyone to just kinda… standing on a little podium.

A talented animator may get given a really basic board like this, that he then exaggerates

and pushes into a more dynamic-looking shot more akin to maybe something like this.

Layouts are essentially blueprints that animators make for their scenes, which the backgrounds

artists work off of too, so it's a really essential part of the process to get right.

Thankfully, it's a very tiny instance and doesn't really matter, but I wanted to bring

it up because dynamic layouts are what really sell a scene I want to talk about later.

For now, though, let's move into this second half!

Hiroyuki Itai is the supervisor for this section, and like I said earlier, he only had 4 weeks

to supervise this.

Unsurprisingly, he hasn't animated anything himself, instead sticking entirely to corrections

as predicted, but it's really impressive work.

His drawings are very polished, and he dominates this half far more than Shimanuki who actually

had 8 weeks.

I said 7 in my staff video, but I forgot about the break over Christmas!

Itai's far and away the superstar supervisor here, and whether or not you like his prominent

and rounded noses, I think it's hard to argue that these aren't at least very well

drawn.

The first bit of noteworthy animation comes from Futoshi Higashide who animates the great

beam struggle.

It's filled with some lovely looking effects – he really loves to use large hulking beams,

and the way they enlarge for the explosion adds some major impact.

Although he does animate a little bit of action before the Nikaido reuse I mentioned earlier,

his contribution is fairly light on movement.

I really do think we're headed for one massively animated episode, instead of a string of ones

that are good, but only feature a few outstanding moments.

His scene leads right into another surprise appearance from Naoki Tate who animates almost

this entire section with Freeza and Jiren.

This is the scene I want to talk about regarding layouts.

Tate's a real master of taking a storyboard and turning it into an incredibly dynamic

bit of work, and it's plain to see here.

Whether it be the Inazuma kick, Freeza against the rocks, or my personal favourite, Jiren

punching away Golden Freeza, the compositions are outstanding.

Very few people play around with extreme foreshortening in the way Tate does, and it always nice to

see.

Animation-wise, this is a little bit more animated than Higashide's work.

The flurries are rather limited, but there's a neat bit of character acting while Freeza's

talking later on, and of course, the section where Jiren jumps down to 17's level is

super stylish.

The entire scene's been corrected, and I'm not 100% sure by who.

The section where he becomes golden looks like Yamamuro, but the parts before don't

look like anyone I'm familiar with.

Either way, they're fine corrections, and they keep Tate's love of exaggerated expressions

intact, so there are no complaints from me here.

I feel like Tate's probably only going to do key animation from here on out, which is

why we're seeing him regularly now.

I have to say, as much as I do like the individual components of this scene, it's a bit weird

and patchwork.

Freeza coming in to kick Jiren is Tate, but flying through the rocks is someone else.

When you cut that out, it flows just as smoothly, so it's like it was added afterwards.

Again, as Freeza transforms, there's this weird jolt where Freeza starts talking for

a second, but when you remove that, it just flows like normal.

It's as though he drew one lengthy cut which was then chopped up and added to by the director

later on.

I don't think that necessarily says anything, but I felt it was worth mentioning.

Shimanuki comes in shortly after this, and as I mentioned earlier, he really doesn't

do much, and I don't quite understand why considering all of the time he's had.

His scene where #17 sacrifices himself shows off his trademark debris, but… that's

kind of it.

Shimanuki's been so lacklustre this tournament, it's bizarre.

Itai with 4 weeks should never outshine someone doing far less work in double the time.

I would love to know what's going on there.

Sato's storyboard is kinda weak in this section too, honestly.

18's performance is wonderful, but the choice of angles are really reserved, and Shimanuki's

character animation is pretty poor.

I don't think Sato's board on the whole is bad, though.

Despite my thoughts on Jiren's backstory, I think its presentation visually was very

strong.

I was very impressed by Imamura's direction in this sequence, too.

The grainy textured walls, the quick cuts, the close-ups, it all comes together to really

sell this backstory.

Although I can't say I'm a big fan of the narrative content, I'd be lying if I

said it wasn't at least presented very well visually.

I feel like I've kind of picked at this episode a lot in this video, and I do stand

by what I've said, but I actually really enjoyed it.

I think as a standalone episode, it's well put together, and actually succeeded in what

it aimed to do, even if I don't necessarily enjoy every narrative beat.

This was only the second script Kenichi Yamashita had ever written for Super, and it'll likely

be his last considering the series is done now.

I'm curious to know how you guys feel about it on the whole, so let me know down below

about that.

Next week, we've got Osamu Ishikawa and Yuji Hakamada tackling the big Vegeta episode,

so I'm really looking forward to that.

Ishikawa has often struggled to draw Vegeta in the past, but the NEP was filled with drawings

from him, and they all looked very competent, so my worries there are squashed for now.

Hopefully they deliver!

But that is all for now.

If you'd like to know more about the upcoming episodes, do check out my upcoming staff video

for all the details and my predictions.

Be sure to rate this video, and leave a comment letting me know how you felt about the writing

– in particular Jiren's backstory.

Subscribe if you're new, and I will see you next time.

Top 10 Gordon Ramsay Twitter Roasts – Part 2 - Duration: 4:59.

Welcome back everyone, today were revisiting a person that you guys seemed to love when

we talked about him last - world famous chef and insulter, Gordon Ramsay.

Hes gained quite the reputation for slamming people on Twitter when it comes to their cooking

skills.

Don't worry though, its all good fun, and its all very funny, this is the top 10 Gordon

Ramsay Twitter Roasts - Part 2.

Coming in at number 10 we have Rhiannon 111 who tweeted at Gordon to say -Hey!

How would you rate these pastel lemon meringues?

Please reply- Gordon did reply to say -They look like oven baked fake turds, ones got

diarrhea and now your covering them in chocolate?- … ouch.

At first I didnt think this was accurate but on closer inspection, they do kinda look like

fake dog poop - no closer inspection needed though …

Next up at number 9 we have Rameez who tweeted at Gordon Ramsay to ask -please rate my medu

vada sambar and nariyal chutney- to which Gordon simply replied -I didnt know you can

tweet from prison- … he didnt even bother to rate it because he thinks it looks like

prison food.

Harsh but hilarious, this tweet has since racked up almost 400,000 likes.

Moving on to number 8 this twitter user asked -How did my grandma do on this lasagna?

- well Gordon says -it looks as dry and my Grandma … she passed 20 years ago- amazing.

Who knew that dark humour about death would work so well with a food critique?

Well apparently it does.

Im sure Gordons Grandma would see the funny side …

At number 7 now Joenah tweeted this picture of his dinner, asking Gordon how it looked,

we can also see his dog in the corner there.

Gordon said -Even your dog is not interested- … which is totally true.

Im sure many of you guys have dogs and you know that they are ALWAYS ready to eat your

dinner - even if theyve just eaten their own.

How bad does a meal have to be for a dog to turn up its nose, you tell me …

At number 6 we have Grant Walton who tweeted a picture of his friends dinner.

Looks like some sort of sausage and mushroom type dish, Im not too sure.

Gordon replies which a simple question -Did his dog lay one in the pan?- which I find

hilarious.

When I was preparing this video, I couldnt stop laughing.

I don't know what it is about that question that just gets to me.

Man, maybe we should move on.

At number 5 now Sanam Hasan who tweeted this picture and said -my first attempt at a sausage

omelette.

Please rate- Gordon had just one request for her -please make it your last- … thats brutal.

They always say that if someone has a passion you should try to encourage them, even if

they arent very good in the beginning.

Not according to Gordon.

You get once chance to cook well and then youre done.

Forever.

Moving on to number 4 we have a twitter user asking -what do you think of my friends French

toast?- this is what Gordon thinks it is -An insult to France- ouch, imagine making food

so bad that you insult an entire country.

Do we have any French viewers?

Does this toast insult you?

Let me know.

Next up at number 3 we have Syndney tweeting to ask -how is my BLT- … for those of you

that don't know, BLT stands for Bacon Lettuce Tomato but not according to Gordon who says

that this time it stands for Burnt Looks Terrible.

To be fair, it totally does.

Theres not many things worse than burnt toast.

Maybe disease.

Its close.

Moving on to number 2, Caroline tweeted a couple of pictures of a cake and asked Gordon

-how do you like the cake I made for my Dads birthday?- Gordon asks -is he still talking

to you?- amazing.

The cake that broke up a family.

Thats how bad it is.

And finally at number 1 we have Victor.

Tweeting a picture of a pathetic excuse for a slice of cheese pizza that was served to

him on a c.

Its literally just a base with a tiny lump of cheese in the middle.

Gordon replied with one word of advice for what he should on the cruise ship -Jump …- … thats

right, facing the ocean waves is a better option than pizza that bad.

Sounds fair.

Alright guys, I had way too much fun making this video, I also found way too many of these

twiter roasts from Gordon so let me know if youd like a part 3 and I can do that for you.

My name is Danny Burke, thanks for watching guys and Ill see you all in the next video.

Adeleine's Sketchy Disappearance - Missing in Action (Kirby's Dream Land) - Duration: 7:41.

You know, there's something about Kirby that's just so darn lovable.

He might be an endless vacuum of chaos who continually battles eldritch horrors, but

look at him!

It's difficult to imagine a more cute and innocent Nintendo character.

D'aww.

And over the years Kirby has made plenty of friends along the way.

King Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee...even enemies can't help but join up with the

little guy.

But there's one friend that doesn't appear nearly as much as the others, the artist Adeleine.

And by that, I mean she hasn't been seen in a game for almost 20 years now.

But has she truly been erased?

Or is there a chance that she could make her mark again in the near future?

Welcome to Missing in Action where we take a look back at game elements that have mysteriously

gone missing.

Adeleine debuted in Kirby's Dream Land 3 in 1997, where she served as the boss of World

4's Cloudy Park.

However, she wasn't known as Adeleine then and instead went by Ado.

So when a similar-looking character popped up in Kirby 64 with a different name, Adeleine,

it led to a lot of confusion.

Were Adeleine and Ado supposed to be sisters?

Or were they, in fact, the same person?

Well, it turns out, the confusion is likely due to character limitations.

In Japan, Ado was called Adorēnu, which is their localization of Adeleine.

So when it was translated back to English, it was simply shortened to Ado, which was

confirmed as her nickname by the 20th Anniversary Encyclopedia for Kirby.

As a boss, Adeleine doesn't fight directly.

Instead she uses a large cloud canvas to paint enemies into existence, specifically bosses

from Kirby's Dream Land 2.

After the Ice Dragon, Sweet Stuff, Mr. Shine, Mr. Bright, and Kracko are all defeated, Adeleine

has no option but to attack Kirby herself.

You could say, she painted herself into a corner.

(head slap clip) Unfortunately for her, she's really not that strong, as a single puff of

air will send her flying offscreen.

Heck, even if Adeleine lands her final attack against you, she'll end up taking herself

out in the process.

You almost have to feel sorry for the poor girl.

Of course, Adeleine wasn't actually evil, just possessed by Dark Matter.

If Kirby collects all the Heart Stars in Cloudy Park and returns to the arena where he fought

Adeleine, she'll show her true friendly nature and paint a random picture.

This includes a diamond ring, a strawberry shortcake, and a pink Game Boy making for

a fun optional Easter Egg.

She'll also appear during the credits in a picture, hanging out with Kirby, along with

the rest of the brainwashed bosses.

And Kirby's not even the last character players see at the end of the game, it's

Adeleine.

She pops in to paint 'End' after the credits.

But it wasn't the end of her.

Though it might have been if she had been treated like the other girls who have appeared

throughout the Kirby series.

I mean, when's the last time you saw Ribbon, Elline, or Susie?

But she did indeed come back 3 years later in 2000's Kirby 64.

In this Adeleine is minding her own business and painting when she's possessed yet again

by Dark Matter.

The fight is actually rather similar to her boss battle in Dream Land 3 although quite

a bit easier.

After all, she's just a mini-boss this time around.

That being said, the battle itself is still quite similar.

This time, she creates a set of minor enemies, then an Ice Dragon, and finally Dark Matter.

Once they're gone, she tries to fight by herself with the same results as before.

Hm, maybe she should've joined the military before becoming a painter like Bob Ross.

Once she's been defeated, Adeleine will join Kirby on his adventure.

At certain points throughout the levels, she'll appear and paint either a Maxim Tomato or

an extra life depending on Kirby's health.

Otherwise, she paints pictures that would help Kirby solve puzzles in order to obtain

more collectible Crystal Shards.

She definitely acts more as support, but it was a bigger role than what she had in Dream

Land 3.

And hey, she was even a selectable character in the multiplayer minigames.

But would you believe she was originally meant to be playable in the main game as well?

Back in June of 1999, before the game was released, nine teaser photos were released

on Nintendo.com.

These revealed that all of Kirby's friends were meant to be playable at some point during

development though the feature was cut with no real explanation given.

Unfortunately, that also means we never got to see how Adeleine would play, beyond swiping

her brush at an enemy as shown in this single picture.

Although, there's a chance we may finally have a better idea of how she might have played,

but we'll get to that soon.

And that's because there's really not much else to say about her.

After Kirby 64, Adeleine pretty much faded from existence, only returning for a super

small cameo as a sticker in Kirby: Planet Robobot, as well as in artwork tweeted out

by the official Kirby 25th anniversary Twitter account.

Otherwise though, that's it.

And that's still the case even now, almost 20 years later.

However, Kirby: Star Allies is on the way for the Nintendo Switch and a new Ability

was revealed, Artist.

And it quite obviously draws inspiration from Adeleine.

Using the Ability provides Kirby with a beret just like her and the ability to summon help

from his easel.

Not only that, but he can use the paintbrush to attack enemies, just as Adeleine did in

the early version of Kirby 64.

The big question is though, will Adeleine return herself?

Well, there's a definite possibility.

For one, Dream Land 3 featured Kirby collecting Heart Stars and hearts are a major factor

in Star Allies as it's the thing possessing Kirby's friends.

Secondly, in both games that featured Adeleine, Zero served as the final boss, going by Zero

Two in his second appearance.

Perhaps a Zero Three could be introduced if Adeleine is in fact back.

But we'd probably know about her before we found out about a Zero 3.

And finally, there's Kirby's friends.

In Triple Deluxe, Dedede was playable in the Dedede Tour Mode where his moveset was based

off Hammer.

In Planet Robobot, it was Meta Knight's turn with Meta Knightmare Returns and his

Sword moves.

And usually, in the more recent games, the one who finishes off the quartet is Bandana

Dee who uses the Spear moveset.

But Spear, unlike Hammer and Sword, hasn't yet been seen at all.

What if our girl Adeleine got the spot as the extra mode this time around where she

ran through the levels with the new Artist Ability?

Wouldn't that make for a grand return?

Of course, that's all speculation on our part.

Acosadores en el metro y cómo se evitan/ Japón Vlog (English Subs) - Duration: 11:58.

Welcome to my home!

How are you? I'm fine. Today, I'm

in a different room of my house!

... anyway.Let's begin, no?

Today we're going to talk about pervs in Japan! Yay!

Specifically, pervs in the metro.

And I'm also going to explain about the metro car only for women? *(and a personal anecdote as well)

...anyway, let's begin.

First, I'm going to talk about the word "chikan"

CHIKAN in Japanese means "perv"

But it also means what pervs do

In this case, inappropriate touching in public,

or worse things, in public.

There have been cases of CHIKAN cutting pieces of girls' clothing

Above all it happens to the schoolgirls, cutting a piece of their school uniform's skirt

Just, horrible

The place where most cases of CHIKAN occur is in the metro

According to a Tokyo police study done in 2015,

out of 1,900 attacks that year,

72.2% took place in the metro.

inside as well as outside the train!

And now you think, how is it possible that there are so many cases in the metro?

Well, the thing is, in rush hour,

in the trains there are many many people, too many people

So since everybody is so close and so smushed together

it's very easy

for a CHIKAN to touch a girl without people seeing.

And what's more, since there's so many people,

it's very difficult for the girl to identify who touched her

That's why it's so serious

Now, in Japan, they're really taking CHIKAN cases into account

they're trying to take measures to reduce them.

Actually, in 2002,

in Osaka -- ♪♫ OSAKA, OSAKA ♫♬

You know that I adore Osaka since I live here

In Osaka in 2002 they implemented

the women-only cars. So in the Midosuji line--

--the Midosuji line is the most popular subway line

and the one they use the most here

So they made one car for women only in the train

So the idea is that in rush hour only the girls can enter *(& little kids and people with disabilities)

and this would reduce these incidents

And the truth is it worked!

Only in the first year they reduced by... three...

three percent? No...

Only in the first year, they reduced them by a third! (sources in description)

the number of cases of CHIKAN in the metro

Also, you have to keep in mind that

the numbers of CHIKAN are much higher than what they say in these surveys

because

we only have the numbers of the girls who make a claim

and many girls in Japan

don't report this type of harassment

because as I said before it is very difficult to identify who has touched you

and second because

they think, even if I report them, nothing's going to happen

But, if this happens to you, report it

because they really do take it seriously

Actually, I was looking on the Internet for information to do this video--

and you have down in the description all of the articles I was reading on this topic

mostly in English and in Japanese, sorry

--and just yesterday

there was a case of CHIKAN in Namba, in Osaka

in the Midosuji, in the line I was just talking about

In Namba around 9pm a 60-year-old man touched a girl inappropriately

the good thing is that he got arrested

so there's still hope

It's a shame, but the girls who suffer the most from CHIKAN

are the youngest

There was this image that went viral in Twitter

by a person who took the time to draw

...the "types" of women who are "most likely" to be attacked by a CHIKAN

this image here

What I don't like is that I haven't seen any study

that is related to this

I've read on the Internet that there are such studies, but since I haven't found the source

take it with a grain of salt, okay?

I just give you the information, but treat it carefully

In Osaka there is a department that dedicates itself exclusively

to CHIKAN cases and to resolve them

Now, they are distributing some pins that say

"CHIKAN is a crime" or "if you touch me I'll report you"

now young girls have them on their bags

or their sweaters or jackets

And this, even if it sounds stupid, actually helps

Because there's a girl who, I read in an article,

There was a girl who was very young and who was attacked every day *(from when she was TEN)

when she was going to school

Think, when these young girls go to school

they have to take the metro every day, in rush hour, to go to school

So, they become

the easiest target for a perv of this kind.

And this girl didn't want to go to school

because this was always happening

and the mother was exhausted too, as it was so hard to tell who was touching her

it was always different people, you know?

and yes, they reported it

but they could never find the CHIKANs who had done it

And so the mother started to put these badges on the girl,

And according to her story,

since they started putting the pins on her, nobody touched her any more.

So, even if it sounds like a dumb idea, it really seems to work.

it's good that there's this small way to do combat this problem

And now comes the moment you've all been waiting for

I'm going to tell you my CHIKAN anecdote! Yay!

and why am I telling you this so happily if it's so horrible? Well, I don't know.

I'm just made this way. Anyway.

As I was saying, CHIKAN attack in rush hour

but they also attack at night, as I said before, in the news of yesterday

And the thing is, here, I'm pretty trusting

because of course, Japan is a very safe place. It's very unlikely that anything happens to you, okay?

Being a woman, you can go waling at night

nothing's likely to happen to you, it's very very safe.

The only thing that happens is CHIKAN. But I had thought that CHIKANS

only attack in rush hour, before this happened to me...

So, one night, at half past nine or so,

when I finished very late at work

I was going home and I got in the mixed car

I sat down, and, well, after a while sitting I noticed something like this...

At first I thought it was simply

due to the motion of the train, someone was just hitting against me

or something like that. I didn't think it was a perv.

and well,

everything was fine until this movement started

to go lower and lower and I started to feel it in this area

in the area of feminine happiness, if you know what I'm saying

well I noticed the touching

and then is when I became alarmed

like, he's not doing this unintentionally, right?

So I turned

and saw a guy doing this with this kind of face

with the face of that Toy Story toy of Woody

with this face he was doing this

That's right, he wanted to touch me in this area

with his, with his ELBOW!

Does this seem normal to you?

So, at noticing this,

and at seeing this face of extreme perv, level 200

like, just, extreme perv, no perv more perv than you

the only thing I could do is look at him, like

and I laughed in his face

and you'll say, "Yu, why do you laugh at the perv?!"

because it's pathetic! Why are you doing inappropriate touches one me with your elbow?

So I looked at him like

Like, I cannot believe you are elbow-touching me

I mean, pathetic, horr-- no, I just don't have words for how stupid it was

And whatever, the guy, obviously

got ashamed of himself. He was looking at me like this, and his face changed into this

Like, "Oh, it seems that she doesn't like that I touch her

"that I touch her in this area with my elbow...

"How strange, this never would have occurred to me before now."

So, if any day you ever happen to meet a CHIKAN

the only thing you have to do is scream "CHIKAN!" and all the people around you will separate from you in a matter of seconds

phsh, they give you space. And if anyone has seen the CHIKAN

they will try to stop him, etc, okay? So don't worry.

In the metro, they have... in Osaka, they have put up

[posters of] CHIKAN AKAN, which I like

Akan is like "no, don't do that"

but in Osaka dialect

In Tokyo they say "dame"

"don't do that"

so in Japan, in Osaka we have "CHIKAN AKAN"

And as well as CHIKAN AKAN

it also says that if you act like you haven't seen a CHIKAN it's also wrong

because it's complicit

so you know. Whatever. Let's continue with the story, eh?

The thing is, I got up

obviously, indignant, I got up

and I got in front of the guy, because I thought, look,

I'm not going to get off the train, not going to do anything, but I'm going to make you feel bad.

So I put myself in front of him and look at him like

and laughing like

like "you are so pathetic" you know?

and so, the next stop,

he got off, because he felt ashamed

and that's all. After that I haven't gotten in the mixed car

I only get in the mixed car in hours... in the middle of the day

11:00, til the afternoon or so

but at night and in rush hour I don't go in because weird people go in, sometimes

If you go with little kids and you go in the mixed car at night

it's possible you'll see somebody reading a comic for... um... for adults, let's say.

Or they might be looking at adult websites, which has happened to me many times

and which really disgusts me because once there was a guy

looking at a webpage for "adults" and the girls looked just way too young

I think. It just creeped me way out.

So that's also why I don't go in the mixed car at night, okay?

Yu's recommendation!

But other that that, Japan is very safe.

And CHIKAN only really occur in those hours,

so don't worry. If you're a woman,

well, don't get in the mixed car, in the times I said

and that's all. Use the women's car

Many times, when I'm doing videos and wearing skirts

I think in one of them I said I was going to get in the girls' car

because there was a creepy person

And that's it. If I go with a skirt, as I know that CHIKAN tend to touch girls under their skirts,

I just go directly to the women's car and that's all.

better to be safe than sorry.

And that's all!

Conway: Trump believes you have to 'consider all sides' of abuse allegations - Duration: 1:54.

Conway: Trump believes you have to 'consider all sides' of abuse allegations.

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said President Trump thinks it's important to "consider

all sides" regarding abuse allegations.

During an interview on ABC's "This Week," Conway was asked about the allegations of

domestic abuse against former White House staff secretary Rob Porter.

"The president believes, as he said the other day, you have to consider all sides.

He has said this in the past about incidents that relate to him as well," Conway said.

"At the same time you have to look at the result."

Conway said the result is that Porter is no longer serving in his White House role.

Her comments come after Trump on Friday praised Porter, who resigned last week after he was

accused of domestic abuse by two ex-wives.

Trump said he hopes Porter has a "great career ahead of him" and that this is a "very tough

time" for him.

He made no mention of the women specifically and offered no general condemnation of domestic

violence.

On Saturday, Trump questioned a lack of due process and tweeted that lives are being destroyed

by "a mere allegation."

What do you think about this?

This is a Very Big Deal Meet the Trump Appointees Who Could Repl - Duration: 6:20.

This is a Very Big Deal Meet the Trump Appointees Who Could Replace Outgoing DOJ Official Rachel

Brand UPDATED

The third-highest ranking Justice Department official, Rachel Brand, is leaving her post,

reports the New York Times.

achel L. Brand, the No. 3 official at the Justice Department, plans to step down after

nine months on the job as the countrys top law enforcement agency has been under

attack by President Trump, according to two people briefed on her decision.

Ms. Brands profile had risen in part because she is next in the line of succession behind

the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, who is overseeing the special counsels

inquiry into Russian influence in the 2016 election.

Mr. Trump, who has called the investigation a witch hunt, has considered firing Mr. Rosenstein.

Such a move could have put her in charge of the special counsel and, by extension, left

her in the cross hairs of the president.

Ms. Brand, who became the associate attorney general in May 2017, is leaving for a job

as general counsel in the private sector.

She has held politically appointed positions at the Justice Department over the past three

presidential administrations.

Who will replace Brand?

According to an executive order on Justice Department succession, issued on March 31,

2017, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia gets first dibs.

Second is the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina and third is the

Northern District of Texas.

Because Tracy Doherty-McCormick is only the acting United States Attorney for the Eastern

District of Virginia, the official most likely to replace Brand is U.S. Attorney for the

Eastern District of North Carolina Robert Higdon.

Robert J. Higdon, Jr. was nominated to be the United States Attorney for the Eastern

District of North Carolina by President Donald Trump on August 2, 2017.

He was confirmed by the United States Senate on September 28, 2017.

As U.S. Attorney, Mr. Higdon is the top-ranking federal law enforcement official in the Eastern

District of North Carolina, which includes the 44 eastern most counties of North Carolina.

He oversees a staff of 108 employees, including 51 attorneys and 57 non-attorney support personnel.

The office also partners with some 20 Special Assistant United States Attorneys from branches

of the United States military, local District Attorneys offices and federal and state regulatory

agencies.

In 2012, Higdon was the lead prosecutor in the campaign finance fraud case involving

former North Carolina Senator John Edwards.

Stephen Vladeck, a law professor at the University of Texas noted the shakeup is a, very big

deal.

Its Brand (or her successor) whos first in line to take over supervision of

Muellers investigation if Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein is fired.

So far as I know, there isnt currently a confirmed U.S. Attorney for the Eastern

District of Virginia, so under the current Executive Order, the U.S. Attorney for the

Eastern District of North Carolina is next in the line of succession, added Vladeck.

Vladeck then says in Attorney General Jeff Sessions own succession memo shows Solicitor

General Noel Francisco, another Trump appointee, is next in line to replace Brand.

Noel John Francisco was sworn in as the 48th Solicitor General of the United States on

September 19, 2017.

Prior to joining the Justice Department, he was a partner in the Washington, DC office

of Jones Day, where he was the chair of the Firms Government Regulation Practice.

While at Jones Day, he appeared several times before the Supreme Court, including in McDonnell

v. United States, which involved the meaning of official act under federal bribery

statutes; Zubik v. Burwell, which involved the application of the Religious Freedom Restoration

Act to regulations related to insurance coverage for contraception; and NLRB v. Noel Canning,

which involved the Constitutions recess appointment power.

He has also argued numerous cases in the lower federal and state courts on a wide range of

constitutional, civil, and criminal matters.

Brand joins a growing list of key officials leaving the FBI/DOJ cabal amid Inspector General

Michael Horowitzs probe into the bureaus Clinton email investigation.

Top Justice Department official, David Laufman, who helped oversee the Hillary Clinton email

investigation resigned Wednesday, reported the Washington Post.

Former FBI special agent Josh Campbell recently quit the bureau to join CNN, citing increasing

levels of criticism directed at the agency.

In what was a significant shakeup at the FBI, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stepped down

January 29th.

McCabe, who served a brief stint as acting director of the bureau, was already expected

to leave.

He will stay on terminal leave until he is eligible to retire with benefits in

March, reported CNBC.

In late January, James Rybicki, a top FBI official who was once chief of staff to James

Comey and current Bureau Director Christopher Wray, resigned as well.
