Lessons in Love with Some Savvy Kids and Jessi Cruickshank - Duration: 3:44.

This Valentine's Day I wanted to celebrate with a few people who haven't

had their hearts broken

Yet

So, Happy Valentine's Day!

(ALL) Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day

Who is ready to talk about love?

Ewww! Gross

This is gonna go well

What is romance?

So romance is basically when you're dating you spice it up

Oh. What do you do when you start dating?

Start K-I-S-S

Kissing!

See if you really like each other then once you're like around 40 or

something you get married

It's that easy?

It's pretty easy

Sometimes you

just you don't know each other you just kiss and you don't even know what's

happening something you don't even know what's happening

How do you know when you

love someone?

If you look in the mirror well and then there's the boy beside you

you might see your cheeks getting really rosy

So it's your girl you would

probably feel butterflies in your stomach

Girls get butterflies in their stomach but boys don't?

No we would probably

feel like special

Okay cuz you're too rugged and masculine for butterflies in

your stomach

Actually yeah, cuz I go to the gym

Let's talk about dating apps

Holla

Hello

Hello

No it's holla

Holla

Excuse me

Holla

What do you know?

So it's this app on your phone is called Holla my best friend he tried Holla and

he actually got a girlfriend

Wow

Gross

Guys I've been in a

relationship for ten years

You said you were twenty so you were ten when that happened?

We don't have to do the math

Do you have any tips on how I can spice up my marriage?

So you can spend some time in the hot tub

Ooh, now we're talking do you have a hot tub

I could borrow?

So maybe my husband and I could have time in your hot tub

That'd be kind of creepy

Thanks Chelsea

Right now do you have a

crush on anybody?

Yeah yes yes

I'm getting kinda on a guy named Ryan

Because he's really nice and sometimes he even makes me laugh like at the top of

my lungs

A guy with a sense of humour is so important can he cook?

Once in my

cooking class at my school

You have a cooking class?

We're supposed to

to make a pancake and he made a pancake and except with our heart on it

Oh lock him down

Chelsea do you have a crush on anybody?

No

How come?

I don't need a guy

That's right

So do we need girls in our life?

No, you don't so back away

Who pays half the bills for the house?

Oh wow

What they are saying is they are strong

independent young women who don't need

You should see my mom. She is a wrestler! And she won a trophy.

Okay, this is getting a bit agressive

Do you want to fall in love one day?

I would just like to feel how it is and have a good life

That's beautiful

And that's what Valentine's Day is supposed to be

I wish you the happiest Valentine's Day in the world

Can we eat the candy now?

Yes

I'm not eating one of those ever again they're so spicy

you

Being Deaf And Playing PUBG (PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS) - Duration: 5:58.

[pencil writing]

[Pokemon game sound]

Hello and welcome back.

This week's video topic is going to be gaming and accessibility

so stay tuned for the videos that I'm going to be putting out this week.

More specifically I'm going to be talking about

my experience playing PUBG for the first time while being a deaf person.

And if you're someone who is interested in video games

you might want to consider following me on Twitch.

I am a Twitch streamer, I am an Affiliate,

so you are more than welcome to follow me

and watch me play PUBG, Fortnite, all kinds of games.

I will put the link down below so you can follow me there.

So, if you've been following me since the beginning of January

you might have already watched the video that I did about Fortnite

and this is going to be that kind of video

and on Thursday I will be posting a video

actually comparing the two accessibility-wise like, full on.

But today in this video it's just going to be about PUBG

and my personal experience.

So I have avoided PUBG for quite some time.

It's funny because before I started Twitch I did not want to play Fortnite,

I wanted to play PUBG because I preferred the look of PUBG

and I thought that Fortnite was kind of eugh,

but I ended up playing Fortnite because it was free

and I just never watched PUBG.

I watched Alli Speed play PUBG for me, basically.

A friend of mine actually gifted the game to me on Steam to stream on Twitch

and yesterday my friend asked me if I wanted to play with her

because she had access to a gaming PC for a little bit.

So I thought, OK, you know what? Screw it.

Let's try PUBG for the first time.

And so I played Duo as my first PUBG game

and then I played Solo and I actually made fifth place,

my first Solo run ever.

Now, the thing that's kind of different about my experience with PUBG

is that my first experience when I made the video about Fortnite last month

was I was playing Fortnite completely 100% like profoundly deaf mode

because I didn't have headphones that were good enough for me at that time.

While I'm playing PUBG last night I had good headphones on

so the experience is a little bit different

but if I were to play PUBG without headphones

it would have been the exact same thing as when I played Fortnite.

Now to get the non-accessibility-related thoughts out of the way,

I love PUBG for the way that it looks.

I like how it is extremely realistic.

It is confusing for me currently like, you start from the bare minimum

and then you have to upgrade

and you have to find backpacks and all this stuff.

There's a lot more work that gets put into it which was a challenge for me.

But I did like that.

And that's pretty much the only thing to say about that

that isn't about accessibility.

I haven't played so much of it so I can't give you a full-on review.

But now let's get into the accessibility.

So, like I said I wear headphones and I have pretty good headphones.

I don't hear everything with them, no, but I can hear more than

if I didn't have them on and I was just going by my monitor speakers.

One thing that I noticed when I was playing Duo with my friend was that she

could hear when people were coming and shots going off and I couldn't.

I could hear some shots but when we were hiding

in a little house or whatever

and people were not so close but not so far,

they were shooting and shooting and shooting

and she could hear them

and she's telling me and my Twitch chat is transcribing for me

and saying, "I can hear all these people shooting around us."

And I'm like, "Oh, that's great, I can't."

And I couldn't hear when the person that came into our house was coming

so it was a shock to me when someone is opening the door

and I'm like, "Oh, shit, I've gotta go kill them."

So, that moment right there was like me playing Fortnite without headphones.

I couldn't hear when people were coming round.

And when I played Solo, well, that's even more difficult

because I don't have somebody with me

to tell me, "Hey, there's somebody that's coming."

So, my very first run when I made fifth place and that was the best that

I did the whole night - I kind of sucked after - I could hear cars coming

but I could not hear if something was a car or if it was a plane.

So that was something that was very scary to me.

I can't notice the difference in the game.

And right before I died I could hear the sniper

but I couldn't hear what direction that it was coming from

and that is something I'm going to cover in the comparison on Thursday

so subscribe if you were interested in this video

so that way you won't miss Thursday's video.

So yeah, stuff like PUBG, it is visual but also relies on hearing a little bit

which, it's not required, no, but it does make things easier, obviously.

Especially when there's a sniper or something

and you can try to hear what direction that it's coming from which I cannot.

Overall it was a very interesting experience yesterday

and I am going to continue to play PUBG because now I'm kind of sucked into it.

If you want to know if I prefer PUBG over Fortnite

or Fortnite over PUBG, stay tuned for Thursday's video,

but right now I don't really have an answer for you.

So that was my experience.

If you are a PUBG player, let's talk about it in the comments,

what you like best about PUBG, you know, that kind of stuff.

Again, if you're interested in seeing me play the game

or any other game in general, you can follow me on Twitch.

My username is RikkiPoynterPlays

and I'll have the username

or I'll have the link down below in the description box.

But before I go, if you want to support

any of the work that I do,

I do have a Patreon

so I will have the link to that

in the description box

as well as the pinned comment.

And I do have a Ko-fi link

which is a coffee tip jar kind of thing.

So all of that will be posted

down below.

Don't forget to check out my website

at rikkipoynter.com

in case you want to book me

We'll have that information

over on the website.

model railroading for beginners so look for that and on Wednesday I have a new

Q&A I have a lot more questions that I will cover after that one also because

you just keep on asking a lot of questions so I have a lot of answers for

you other than last week my last Q&A was in December sometime so

I'm gonna try to do at least one a month and maybe stick to a month in there

depending on how many I get but keep a lookout for that I got one coming up

Wednesday and I have a lot more that I need to cover and I'll be putting that

up before the end of the month also so that'll be three in the month of

February altogether and I have some new project videos that I'm working on that

that without them looking so that you know it's a good idea just to click on

my channel icon and just look through the playlists on there you could find

anything you want through those playlists and just to change the subject

they're closing it out right now it's Reed

only and I'm involved in a couple of other things you could check out my

other channel if you need to know anything about YouTube I have my other

channel up there where I give useful information about YouTube so go check

that out subscribe if you haven't done so already and ding that Bell so you

could be notified whenever I have something else coming out I learned

something about YouTube the other day that I've never known about I you know

you know YouTube keeps talking about that they have over 1.5 billion users on

there but they never really said how many of those users are creators

socialblade just came out with some pretty neat statistics about YouTube

that there are about 21 million creators so that is just 1.4 of the total users

on YouTube our creators and another statistic that they came out they did a

bunch of charts that I'm not gonna put up here 89% of the creators on YouTube

are not eligible for monetization that means they are under a thousand

subscribers that means there's only 11 percent of those 21 million creators

that can monetize their videos on YouTube so that's a that is an amazing

statistic right there in its own I really didn't know that there were so

little creators to begin with and so little that were available that were

eligible for monetization we're gonna go for right now ladies down

here laying again she's watching what I'm doing you gonna jump up here again

and say hi yeah she's shy today I don't think she's

going to but she just walked away said I do not get

we'll see ya

How to beat heart disease with diet and lifestyle - Duration: 4:57.

How to beat heart disease with diet and lifestyle

by: Michelle Simmons

You can prevent heart disease eating a healthy diet, such as a plant-based diet,

and making healthy lifestyle changes are just some of the steps you can make.

Cholesterol is the greatest risk factor for coronary heart disease.

It increases in levels because of poor diets.

Most people who were raised on a conventional Western diet, a plaque rich in cholesterol

builds up inside the blood vessels that provide the heart with oxygen-rich blood.

This, in turn, can result in chest pain and pressure known as angina.

In addition, a blood clot can form within the artery and cause a heart attack if the

plaque breaks.

Cholesterol levels are increased by adhering to a diet rich with particular types of fats

such as trans fat, saturated fat, and dietary cholesterol.

Trans fat can be found in processed foods and meat and dairy products, while saturated

fat can be found mainly in animal products and junk foods.

Lastly, dietary cholesterol can only be obtained from animal-derived foods such as eggs.

However, unhealthy, fatty meals cause internal damage years into the future as well as triggering

problems after hours of eating.

Fortunately, the damaging process brought by fatty meals can be reversed.

Past studies of patients with advanced heart disease tried plant-based diets as a way to

stop the progression of the disease.

After following a vegan diet, the heart disease of the patients began to reverse as they were

getting better.

(Related: Plant-based diet prevents and fights chronic diseases such as cancer, type 2 diabetes,

and coronary heart disease)

It seems that as soon as they stopped eating artery-clogging diets, their bodies were able

to start dissolving some of the plaque that had built up, Dr. Michael Greger wrote

in Daily Mail Online.

Greger explained that the body could heal itself through a plant-based diet and other

healthy lifestyle changes, which explains why heart disease patients almost immediately

experience relief after starting a diet composed of plant foods.

He also cited a study that found a 91 percent decrease in angina attacks in just a few weeks

after patients began adhering to plant-based diets.

On the other hand, those patients who did not change their diets had an increase of

186 percent in angina attacks.

Another problem is that most doctors prescribe cholesterol-lowering statins for those who

are at risk of heart attacks.

However, these drugs may lead to adverse side effects, such as liver and muscle damage.

Thus, this makes plant-based diet a better and safer option for lowering cholesterol

levels.

A lot of studies also show that many Western epidemics of chronic disease, like coronary

heart disease, did not occur in populations, such as the Chinese and rural African populations,

because their diets were focused on plant-derived grains and vegetables.

This means heart disease could be a choice, not a genetic inevitability, he wrote.

Lifestyle changes you can make to prevent heart disease

Aside from eating a healthy diet, here are some healthy lifestyle changes that you can

do to prevent heart disease.

Be physically active The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends doing physical

activity for a minimum 30 minutes every day.

A Harvard study discovered that watching TV for two hours a day increased the chance of

developing heart disease by 15 percent, and as TV time increases, the risk also increases.

Stop smoking Smoking cigarettes increases the risk of heart disease by two to four times,

according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

It also causes plaque buildup and hardened arteries.

Relieve stress Stress causes strain on the heart, which increases the risk of heart

disease.

Manage stress through exercise and meditation.

Maintain a healthy weight Maintaining a healthy weight is essential to protect the

heart from damage or fatigue.

A healthy weight means the blood can circulate more efficiently and manage necessary fluid

levels.

Get Productive - How to crush your goals and make this month your breakout month - Duration: 3:28.

Hi... I'm Judy Machado-Duque author of life purpose playbook and founder of

productivitygoddess.com. In this video I'm going to share with you how to

crush your goals and make this month your breakout month. So, make sure you

watch until the end so that you get a copy of my 90 Day Plan Checklist. So,

let's begin! So, the first thing you want to do is create a 90 Day Plan because

the last thing you want to do is be shackled by these five three and one

year plans which really just create an illusion of time and so we think we have

all this time to get all of our goals done and it's keeping everyone

distracted or procrastinating. Whereas, the 90 day plan is genius because 90

days is really just around the corner it's three months away, it's 12 weeks

away ,90 days away. So, every day we know is just as important as the next it

creates a really healthy sense of urgency for us. So, within this 90-day

plan you of course want to look at your big vision the macro vision but they and

you want to get down micro and actually get some work done right some of us get

stuck in this whole world of strategic planning all day long and it's important

to do that but it's all it's just as important to actually get work done take

action now. So, you're going big you're looking at your big vision and then

you're coming in small and you're prioritizing two or three big projects

for the next 90 days. we're going put almost all of your focus into those

projects on a daily consistent basis. The second thing you want to do is you want

to keep track of these daily consistent actions that you're taking against those

two or three priority projects. So, how do you keep track how do you make sure stay

motivated and on top of those two or three projects you use yourself a

score card. It's that simple you just start scoring yourself every

day did you do it or did you not.So, you set yourself a daily action and then you

score yourself you keep track every single day that's how you can create

some accountability with yourself and that's what's going to keep you motivated

and focused every single day whatever we focus on grows where attention goes

she flows. Those are two my favorite quotes and they make so much sense. And

finally set a reward so as you are keeping track and scoring yourself and

keeping yourself motivated and focused you want to have a reward that you know

you're working towards something that you're working towards something

exciting it's that prize because sometimes we get

so busy we're always working on all these new projects that we forget to

celebrate we have so many amazing things that are happening so much effort we're

putting into our goals and our dreams but are you actually stopping and taking

the time to celebrate doing something really amazing something that makes you

feel so good maybe it's going to the spa for the day, maybe it's going on a

clothing shopping spree, maybe it's buying a new pair of shoes I don't know

what it is for you, but pick something that you absolutely love to do and set

that as a reward. So, there you have it now you know how to crush your goals and

make this your breakout month but do you know how to start your 90-Day Plan? No

Problem! I have a 90 Day Plan checklist for you! So, make sure you click the link

in the description below to download that now. If you like this video hit the

Would You Be Able to See Through Superman's Disguise? - Duration: 5:15.

Hi there.

I'm Hank Green.

And now, I'm … Super Hank Green!

And I have super powers like can't see very well and really like they might be giants.

[♩ INTRO ]

According to superhero comics, simply putting on or taking off glasses is enough to completely

transform your appearance.

Suddenly, mild-mannered Clark Kent is Superman!

And lots of people have claimed that's ridiculous, because a pair of glasses doesn't seem like

enough to make someone unrecognizable.

But researchers have actually looked into this, because of course they have.

And it turns out that thanks to the way our brains process faces, glasses can be enough

to keep you from recognizing someone, especially a stranger.

Which, in a world full of photo IDs and eyewitness testimony, is kind of a big deal.

Faces are special to us humans because social interaction is key to our survival.

They're so special, in fact, that your brain has entire systems dedicated to recognizing

them.

Some regions of your brain, like the occipital facial area, respond specifically to parts

of the face, like the eyes or nose.

Meanwhile, your fusiform gyrus responds to the whole face.

It tells your brain what's what, so you know that you're looking at a face and not

a piece of toast or whatever.

Other regions, like the superior temporal sulcus, respond to facial cues — emotional

expressions, for example, or where the eyes are looking.

But even so, a face isn't recognizable until you draw on your memories and experiences

to contextualize it.

Which is why it can be harder to recognize a person when something changes.

You might not immediately recognize your boss at the grocery store, for example.

Or Superman wearing glasses.

No, really.

A 2016 study in the UK with 59 subjects found that glasses made it harder to tell if two

images were of the same person.

If both had glasses, or both didn't have glasses, the participants could correctly

tell if they were the same person about 80% of the time.

But if one had glasses and the other didn't, they were only able to tell if they were the

same person 74% of the time.

While that's not a huge difference, it was still a statistically significant change,

and it shows that glasses can affect how easily you identify someone, especially a stranger.

In addition to experiments like these, scientists often study how our brains recognize faces

by looking at the outliers.

Some people score way above normal on facial recognition tests.

They're called super recognizers, and they're really, really good at identifying faces,

even when they've been obscured or disguised, like with a hat or a mustache.

And I am not one of them.

And that might be because they focus more on the nose than other people do.

Researchers think looking near the middle of the face — right around the nose — may

help them process the face all at once, rather than piece by piece.

And looking at the face as a whole, rather than an assembly of eyes, nose, and mouth,

seems to be an important part of actually recognizing who it is, rather than just seeing

the face.

So if you want to recognize people better, just right at the nose!

There are people who are completely awful at recognizing faces as well.

It's not just an excuse that people use at parties, I swear.

In severe cases, it's called prosopagnosia, or "face blindness," and it's surprisingly

common — studies suggest about 2% of people might have it to some extent.

It can be caused by an injury or disease, but many cases are congenital: in the immortal

words of Lady Gaga, baby they were born that way.

People with prosopagnosia tend to be bad at recognizing faces no matter what.

In congenital cases, it often seems to come from structural or signaling problems in the

fusiform gyrus, the part of the brain that sees faces as a whole.

In other words, they have trouble distinguishing faces as faces.

For example, most people can more easily recognize an upright face than an inverted face, but

people with prosopagnosia are always bad at it, no matter the orientation.

And they spend more time looking at the mouth area than the eyes or nose, which might explain

why they can't match the face to memory.

They're not looking at the right areas — and maybe, they're not really seeing the whole

face.

Most of us are in between these extremes: okay at recognizing faces, especially ones

you see all the time, but still not perfect.

Which might not seem like a big deal until you think about all of the real world situations

where a person's ability to recognize faces can have some pretty serious consequences.

Like all the places we use photo IDs, or in eyewitness testimony.

On the other hand, people who are good at recognizing faces could be used to make things

more secure.

For example, the London Police Force has their own research-confirmed team of super-recognizers

who help identify suspects from video footage.

So, part of the solution to these security issues might be to include recognition testing

in the hiring process for jobs where facial recognition is important.

We could also eventually let computers, which are constantly getting better at this, take

over.

Because sure, our brains have special areas for processing faces, but we're not as great

at recognizing them as you might think.

And ultimately, that's why Superman's disguise might actually be enough— despite all the

flak it's received.

As long as he can also hide all the bulging muscles, which I don't know how he manages

that.

Disturbing Movie Scenes That Caught Us Off Guard - Duration: 10:47.

From creepy-crawly parasites to sci-fi space mutinies, some movie scenes are so shocking

that they stick with you for the rest of the week — or the rest of your life.

But if you need help remembering the unforgettable, here's an eyeball-searing, gut-punching roundup

of all those disturbing Hollywood moments that audiences never saw coming.

And in case it's not obvious, here's your final warning that this video contains spoilers

for an awful lot of movies.

"Hold onto your butts."

Bursting out

With its dripping mouth and phallic head, the xenomorph from Alien is pure nightmare

fuel.

But if you're looking for something that'll scar you for life, then it doesn't get any

worse than this explosive scene.

It all starts when executive officer Kane, played by John Hurt, winds up in a coma with

an extraterrestrial creature attached to his head — then wakes up, only to develop the

worst case of heartburn in history.

When his comrades lay him down on the table, Kane's chest blows apart, revealing… well,

this guy.

Naturally, the rest of the crew are completely freaked out— as were audiences, who thought

Kane was out of danger when the facehugger fell off, and who were definitely not expecting

a demonic worm to burst out of his thorax mere minutes later.

Mind-control eels

Star Trek was a story about unity, harmony, and working together for the good of mankind

— that is, until The Wrath of Khan came along.

Then, it was a story about unity and harmony, but also about freaky horrible parasites that

crawl through your ear, into your brain, and turn you into a mindless slave.

The Ceti eel is a favorite weapon of Khan Noonien Singh a genetically enhanced superhuman

who wants revenge against Captain Kirk for abandoning him on an inhospitable planet.

As part of his plan, Khan uses the eel to force Starfleet's Terrell and Chekov to tell

him everything they know — leading to this terrifying sequence in which the disgusting

creature inches its way into the screaming Chekov's ear canal.

Buried alive

This slow-burner of a suspense film spends a long time leading up to one of the freakiest

finales in history — one so disturbing that Bravo ranked it as the 55th scariest movie

scene of all time.

The Vanishing centers on a man named Rex, whose girlfriend Saskia disappeared three

years ago without a trace.

Rex knows that Saskia is almost certainly a goner, but he's desperate to unravel the

mystery of her disappearance — which leads him to make an incredibly stupid bargain with

the man who kidnapped her.

If Rex wants to know the truth about what happened to her, he'll have to experience

her fate firsthand.

Driven by insatiable curiosity, Rex agrees and downs a sleeping pill.

When he wakes up, he's been buried alive… and he's really not happy about it.

You've gotta hand it to The Vanishing for managing to pull off this shocking ending

after more than ninety minutes of ominous foreshadowing.

We knew something bad was going to happen, but nobody expected it to be that bad.

The final confession

A few years before starting a fight club, Edward Norton made his feature film debut

in Primal Fear as Aaron Stampler, a troubled altar boy accused of ending the life of an

archbishop.

The high-profile case draws the attention of Martin Vail, a smarmy lawyer played by

Richard Gere, who uncovers a shocking truth: after years of abuse by the archbishop, Aaron

developed a second personality—a violent and dangerous man who calls himself Roy.

After Roy confesses to the homicide, Vail uses his expert legal skills to save the young

man's life and have him committed to a mental institution.

But in the final moments of the film, the truth is revealed: the split personality scheme

was one big hoax.

"There never was a Roy."

"There never was an Aaron."

Surprise!

Sweet, simple Aaron was all an act, while the sociopathic Roy was the real deal the

entire time.

And now he's gotten away with the crime of the century!

When Richard Gere walks away stunned, everyone watching felt the exact same way.

Keeping it in the family

There are twist endings, and then there are twisted endings, and boy, does Oldboy have

a doozy.

In this Korean thriller, a man named Oh Dae-su sets out to get revenge on the man who put

him in prison for fifteen years.

But during his hunt, he meets up with a young woman named Mi-do and the two soon become

lovers.

Imagine Oh Dae-su's horror when he realizes that it was all a setup by his old enemy,

and the woman he just slept with is actually the daughter he hasn't seen in fifteen years—

and also imagine the audience's horror when Oh Dae-su tries to atone for his sins by cutting

off his own tongue with a pair of scissors.

With that moment of graphic violence followed by an uncomfortably ambiguous ending, it's

no surprise that people still consider Oldboy to be one of the world's most disturbing viewing

experiences.

Body swap

When she accepts a job working as a caregiver at a creepy plantation home in 2005's Skeleton

Key, Caroline quickly realizes that there's something a little off about the elderly couple

who live there — particularly Violet, the lady of the house.

What she doesn't know — and neither does the audience — is that her amateur detective

work into a world of black magic and ancient conspiracies is about to backfire horribly.

Violet is actually a centuries-old hoodoo practitioner named Mama Cecile, and Caroline

plays right into her hands when she traps herself inside a magical circle that allows

Mama Cecile to steal her body.

With the help of a menacing mirror, Mama Cecile performs a sort of swap, taking control of

Caroline's physical form and trapping Caroline inside Violet's dying, old frame… forever.

Unlike many horror films, there's no last-minute intervention in which the heroine saves the

day.

Caroline is simply doomed to spend the rest of her days as an eighty year-old woman — and

considering how old her new body is, she won't have many days left.

Assault and revenge

In a movie full of mysterious disappearances, violent misogyny, and dismembered cats, there's

still one moment that stands out as particularly shocking in The Girl with the Dragon tattoo.

It comes early on, when Lisbeth Salander, played by Rooney Mara, goes to meet her new

guardian — a sadistic monster who cuffs her to a bed and violently assaults her.

The scene is one of the most sickening ever depicted on film, and… well, do we need

to say more?

"That won't be necessary."

Some films might wind down from there, but this one just ups the ante: Lisbeth returns

to her attacker's apartment with a few tools of revenge — including a tattoo gun that

she uses to leave a nice little message across her tormentor's torso.

As satisfying as it is to see Lisbeth get justice, this sequence and its predecessor

are hard to watch.

Batting practice

The gritty, grimy Texas-noir film Cold in July centers on a trio of men who are on a

quest to uncover the true identity of a mystery man named Freddy Russell — and at first,

it seems like your typical conspiracy thriller.

The big twist comes when our heroes begin to suspect that Freddy is a federal informant

and set out to meet him, only to discover a stash of VHS tapes that turn out to be snuff

films.

The movie doesn't make us watch Freddy beating his victims with a baseball bat, but we see

Michael C. Hall and Don Johnson see it, which along with some strategic sound work is more

than enough to convey the horror.

It's also one of the hardest left turns in thriller history, one that gives our three

heroes a new purpose and recasts the entire movie in a whole new light.

What's on the menu?

Snowpiercer doesn't scrimp on disturbing material, particularly when it comes to food.

The first big gross-out comes when Curtis, played by Chris Evans, finds out just what's

in those greasy, gelatinous protein blocks he and his friends have been eating for years.

(more bugs than Assassin's Creed Unity)

But even then, munching on bugs is a lot better than eating people — which brings us to

the second big shock in this film.

Curtis reveals that when he first boarded the train years ago, there was no food in

the tail section, leading many to resort to cannibalism.

But that's not all:

"I know that babies taste best."

In addition to being a shocking revelation, this moment is a brilliant subversion of Chris

Evans' most famous role.

After "babies taste best", will you ever look at Captain America the same way again?

Zara's plunge

When this long-awaited followup to Jurassic Park hit theaters in 2015, the dino flick

earned over $1 billion worldwide — but it also left some critics confused, upset, and

angry, all thanks to one particularly intense scene.

Zara is an assistant at Jurassic World who spends most of her time on the phone, planning

a wedding, and trying to keep tabs on Claire's unruly nephews… until every monster on the

island decides they want her for dessert.

As all hell breaks loose at the theme park, Zara is attacked by multiple flying pterosaurs,

one of which toys with her by plunging her repeatedly into a giant pool of water.

And just when it seems things couldn't get any worse?

Zara's life comes to a violent, horrifying, and totally undeserved end.

Even Sam Neill, the star of the original Jurassic Park, couldn't believe what he was seeing.

In an interview, he asked,

"Boy, what did the English girl do wrong?

She got eaten by like three dinosaurs at once."

Good question, Sam.

The Ravager mutiny

When it comes to superhero movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is supposed to be upbeat

and fun.

But writer-director James Gunn must have missed that memo when he wrote the Ravager mutiny

scene in the second Guardians of the Galaxy film, which might just be the most disturbing

in the history of the MCU.

Sick and tired of being bossed around by Yondu, this incredibly ugly alien named Taserface

leads a Ravager mutiny, deposing the captain and taking control of the ship.

Naturally, not everyone is cool with the coup, but Taserface isn't much for talking things

out and reaching a peaceful compromise.

Instead, he summarily executes anyone who's still loyal to Yondu, tossing them into space

where they succumb to the freezing, airless climate in a matter of seconds.

Even though it ends up being a visual foreshadowing of one of the movie's coolest scenes, in which

a bunch of hovering Ravager ships light up for Yondu's funeral, the haunting image of

all those frozen corpses floating through space is horrifying and not easily forgotten

— even if Rocket does give old Taserface the mocking he richly deserves.

"What was your second choice?

Sack hat?"

Ultimately, the Ravager mutiny was such a dark scene that it left some viewers with

mixed feelings about the Guardians' second big-screen outing.

But thankfully, the crowd-pleasing David Hasselhoff cameos are enough to satisfy most fans that

this fun-loving franchise hasn't lost its way.

How to Make a Soccer (Football) CV/Resume - Duration: 22:51.

What's up guys and welcome back to another episode of footballers advice in today's video

I wanted to go over how to make a professional soccer resume

Having a soccer resume is something a player must have if they want to become a professional soccer player

More than likely whenever you contact an agent a coach a scout or anyone else

they will ask for this information along with any video highlights that you may have a resume gives the person reading it all the

Information that they need to know about you as a player this includes all of your contact information

And then also what club teams you've played for in the past by having a professional looking soccer resume prepared

It could be the difference between a professional coach or scout giving you an opportunity having a resume

also

Serves as a great

Marketing tool because when you send it out to individuals around the world you never know who it's going to reach by providing your information

Anyone around the world who is interested in you can contact you about any

Opportunities that they may have now there are many different ways and templates in which you can create a professional-looking soccer resume

however in this video

I outline how I've created mine the reason why I would recommend

Following my template is because after sending it out to a bunch of clubs

and then also other

Individuals around the world I received a lot of positive feedback from it this includes teams here in the United States

Whether it be USL teams US agents, and then also Scouts overseas in Europe

So how do you create a

Professional-looking soccer resume well to start I break up how to create a soccer resume in five different

Sections and the order in which I list these sections is something you should follow, so let's go ahead and get right into it

Alright guys, so here is my resume that I've created

And the template that I think that you guys should use when you want to send it out to

professional teams coaches agents and Scouts

What I'm gonna do first is actually scroll through the whole resume

And if you want to pause the video at any time that way you can see a little bit more detailed information on things

Definitely go ahead and do that

but just gonna first like I said scroll through that way you guys can see everything and

Then dive a little bit deeper and kind of discuss in

More detail how I think you guys should structure it why I think you guys should

Put certain information and things like that

But the first thing that I want you guys to notice is that my resume is a PDF file

Now when you first start and you want to create your resume you actually want to do this on a Word document

Like I have here so once you create everything and you have all the information that you want

Here on your Word document what you then should do or what I would recommend doing is

Actually export it into a PDF file and the reason is is because if we look for instance

Right here at season on the PDF file

If I wanted to go ahead and try to edit and change you know this word or any other information

Here like I'm going to go ahead and try to delete I'm gonna try to type extra information I can't do that and

as you can see here with the word document again with season I can definitely go ahead and

change any information on the document

But when you send it out you want to send your resume out in a PDF file that way no information can be changed I

Wouldn't send it out your resume out in a Word document for that reason because anyone can change the information

It could be altered at any time with a PDF file that doesn't allow it to happen

So what you would do when you have created your resume within the word document

And you want to make it into a PDF file you want to go up here to the upper left hand corner

You want to click file

And then you want to go all the way down to export once you click on export

You'll see create PDF document, and then you want to click on this button right here

and what will happen is when you click this button

all this

Information on your Word document will then go to your PDF document and all the information will be this be the same

It will still be

Structured in the same way that you created your Word document like I said the only difference is that you can't edit it

So if you guys want to do that that's something I would recommend by no means do you have to do it?

But like I said, it's something that I've done. Just to make sure that all the information

There is correct and like I said no one can edit it, so as I discussed earlier guys. I break down

creating a resume in five sections

So let me go ahead and break down every section go through it with you list all the details and then just kind of go

From there so the first section that we have is right here

And this is your contact information section what you want to do is provide your full name that way if clubs want to

Do any research on you through the internet they can do that they could find any information that they want and then with that

Underneath your full name you want to provide if you have it your own website

what I will also do is create another video on how to

Actually make your own website for free I found it to be a great marketing tool as well

What I usually do is in the body of my email when I'm sending it out to teams or agents or even Scouts

I'll provide a link to my website, which as you guys can see over here it contains a

File of my resume that way they can view it there as well and my resume will also

Be attached in the email so either way if the attachment

Doesn't work they can always go to the link and find my resume that way and then you can also

Provide a link to on your website that links to YouTube where they can see all of your highlight videos

So this is why I find you know having a website is actually really beneficial

That way yeah, like I said they can find all your information in one place

And then also what I would do guys is in your contact information section provide your email

And the email that you provide guys should be professional. It should be your first and last name at whatever a

Hotmail Gmail

Or whatever other email that you guys use now in another video that I'll make I'll say I'll show you guys

Why I think you guys should have a gmail account

There's certain things that you can do with Gmail that I found to be really beneficial

That saves you a lot of time and energy when you're writing emails so like I said, it's totally up to you guys

But make sure at Liat the very least that

This email is professional. It shouldn't be any crazy name again guys remember

You're sending this out to professional coaches Scouts and agents, so you need to take it seriously

And you need to be professional about it, so like I said I'd have my first and last name at

whatever .com that's how you should structure

your email

Also as well if you guys want to email me at footballers advice feel free to do so

And then what I would do is also provide your phone number where you also have your international calling code

I found this to be

Beneficial as well because here in the US it's plus one and if you want to

You know connect with someone through whatsapp or even through your iPhone?

And they're overseas you want to add the international calling code that way when you're texting them

And they're outside of the country that you live in I found it to be easier for the iPhone to recognize the number

So that way when you're texting back and forth

Whatsapp and the iPhone can actually understand who they're actually contacting overseas

So like I said, that's why I would provide your phone number as well that way they anyone can get in contact with you

So that wraps up section one for your resume, and then we're gonna move on here to section two where it's your personal information

you should

One provide a really nice-looking picture of yourself

What I usually do is wear a jersey of

A team that I've played for in the past or the current team that I'm playing for

Make sure guys that this picture is crisp. It's clear

I took this on my iPhone which is

Which is just fine Just make sure that the resolution and the picture quality is nice that way they can see who you are

And like I said you want to make sure that you know make sure in the background to you don't have any any crazy stuff

Going on it should be a professional looking photo and then underneath that this is where you provide your personal information

This is where you want to provide your date of birth your height weight

position and passport now

Let's go ahead and start here with date of birth you want to list your date of birth in this

Format where I have it as month day in year

You don't want to put you know at over here age and the put 23 years old

Because here's the thing guys if I were to send this out to teams a year from now two years from now

I'm no longer 23 years old. I'm actually 24 or 25

So when you put your birthday in this format no matter when the coach looks at your resume

They can always figure out how old you are

At that moment so you want to put it like this like I said that way they can figure out how old you are

And that way it's not like oh

I received this a year ago from him is he actually

23 now or was he 23 back then when you sent it this leaves out all of the confusion

So then moving on to your height and weight

You see that. I've listed things here in feet and inches and then also in centimeters, and then also weight here

I have it in pounds in kilograms the reason why I do

This is because in the USA They use feet and inches to measure your height, and then they also use pounds to measure

How much you weigh now in Europe and the rest of the world they actually use

Kilograms and centimeters centimeters to measure your height in kilograms to measure your weight

so if you're sending this to

people around the world whether it be in Europe or other parts or even teams here in the USA I

Would provide the information and I would do the calculation or the conversion

When you start building your resume that way

it's easy for the club or the coach or the scout or agent whoever it may be to look at it and

understand in their

Metric system, how like like I said how tall you are or how much you weigh, it's just that your resume is supposed to be

It's supposed to be easy enough for people just to read and understand and get better information of who you are as a player

So that's why I would I would actually provide both

Both things here so then moving on to your position

I'm a midfielder, and I also listed where I can play as a midfielder

Which is Center mid right mid and left mid now if you're for instance a defender in your center back

Then you can put here defender, and then also see B

If you do play a right back or a left back position you can list that however if you're just a centre-back just put CB

so that pretty much wraps up that position as well, but you also want to

The reason why you want to list your position is that way teams can understand how you're gonna fit within their team

In terms of what position you play?

And if they need a player in your position so that's why I would recommend listing that as well

now the last thing in terms of your personal section for section two I

List my the passports that you hold and I recommend that you guys do this as well

I think this is one of if not the most important part of your resume

because when you list the passports that you hold teams can find out if you will be a domestic or foreign player and

If you guys don't know being a domestic player is very beneficial

one of the things

And that is beneficial about being a domestic player is the fact that

one the team that wants you or wants to sign you it doesn't have to fill out a bunch of paperwork and

Make sure that they get a work permit or a work visa for you and deal with all that

legal information that they have to deal with they also don't have to deal with in some countries like in Sweden if you're a

Foreign player then you have to make three times as much in salary as a domestic player

so if you're a domestic player you also don't have to

Legally be required to be paid as much as a foreign player

And sometimes guys as I've noticed

We're talking with other people and then also when I was over in Europe sometimes the difference between

You getting picked up and signed with the team and you not

Being a domestic or foreign player because some teams just don't have the money or the resources to pay a foreign player

So guys if you do have any passports if you're a dual passport holder put down both if you just have one

Passport put that Passport, but either way, I think it's really beneficial to list that and that way teams can say okay

We can see that this guy is a domestic player so that kind of wraps up

Section 2 of the resume and we're gonna move on to section 3 section 3 is right here

And this is where you want to list your club history

What you want to do is list the prior clubs that you've played for in the past

And then you also want to list what years you played with them so for instance this one Minister

I K I was playing with them in 2017 and then I FK letting go I was playing with them in

2016 and then what I'll also do here scroll down a little bit more that way you guys can see this

and

You know also in this section. I've put trial opportunities with teams

That's something you guys can list section 3 and section 4 of the resume. I've noticed a lot of players

This is where they get creative

This is where you kind of have a little bit more flexibility to put what you want to make your

Information or you as a player stand out so as you guys can tell here, too

I've also listed my college team in the years that I played with them, so

Really, I mean with this you just want to list any information

That's relevant to the club

For instance here like I'll put you know people that I've played with where they've played so maybe teams can get a better understanding

of what the level was like at that team and

Kind of maybe who I am as a player when you've played with other individuals that have played at a high level

You know even for here. I have Kate letting go I put you know we earned promotion from division 3 to division 2

That's something you want to list as well

Really like I said this kind of differs from Player to Player

Who what they want to put in this section - you can also put games played game started any

Goals that you had assists. I would list that information here as well if you want to but totally up to you as a player

And like I said - sometimes, you know it makes sense to put trial opportunities

I know some players that incorporate this into their resume some players don't

For me when I was sending this out to teams in Sweden this was something I decided to put in it that way they could

Understand okay, who is he

trialed with in the past

You know what level were they at that kind of gives teams a better

Understanding of who I am as a player and what level I can play at in terms of what teams were interested in me

So section 3 guys like I said, it's kind of to you on how you want to structure it

But you just kind of want to make it stand out with any information that you have that's relevant to the team

like maybe who you've played with

Your any of your stats is a really good thing to put on here as well like I said games played

Goals scored assists things like that

And then maybe you know any other teams that you've played against while you've played for that team

That's also you know something that you could put down as well, so

That actually wraps up section three now guys and we're gonna move on to section four

Now like I said earlier section three in section four is where you can kind of get creative in terms of what you want to

do

You can see some overlap here in section four where I have put and I've listed again. You know that in

2016 with IFK letting go we earned promotion to

Division two you can list it twice you could only list it in one section

But the fourth section is where you want to list more so your achievements achievements

Either individually or with the team so if you've won any Player of the Year awards any Man of the Match Awards

If you if your team was promoted from one division to the next division list that

Like I said this is more so personal in team

Achievements that you've reached and then section three up here can be a little bit more information about the team kind of what the level

Is like and things like that

But for section four like I said you want to list your achievements here

This is where you stand out from players and you can say hey look

You know I was able to win this award during this year

Or I was able to help my team win a championship or get promoted

Whatever it may be you guys this is where you want to list it in your achievements section in section four

So that kind of wraps it up there as well

And then we want to move on to the last section section five which is your references now as you can see here

You know it's good to put a head coach

However, if you want to list an assistant coach or anyone else that will pretty much

Just give a recommendation to a club if they want more information about you

Maybe they want to call

Someone who has seen you play in the past you want to list anyone down here that will just give a positive recommendation about you

But what I would mention though guys too is

Before you put someone down as your reference make sure that you contact them beforehand and ask if you can put them down

That way they just have the heads up, and and they'll understand why teams are contacting them and asking them about you

I think that's beneficial to do that

That way like I said, they're not caught off guard and they know that you know

They are a reference for you, but like I said head coach assistant coach

Any sort of mentor

Like I said any person that is going to give you a positive reference

As you guys can also tell I don't list their contact information here

You don't need to because if a club is interested

And they want to contact other people that you have listened here in your references section

For section five they should go ahead and send you an email that requests that information

so that way then in the follow-up email you can send them you know any

Information that they want on a head coaching or an assistant head coach that you have listed

So that kind of wraps it up guys

That's section five your references

And that kind of wraps up your resume as you guys can also tell - I want to point out one other thing

My resume is one page long. This is how long your resume should be as well

It should be no more than one page so if it's anything more make sure that you

Condense everything you have to then you know just maybe have to rewrite information that way it fits all on one page

but like I said one page in one page only and

One other thing that I'd like to mention as well guys is

The last team that I have here is

from

2013 when I when I played for my college team and that was five years ago

The most you want to have is going back five years from now so

Four to five years is a good time frame to list any past club teams that you've played for any colleges that you've played for

Really anything more than that I think is unnecessary

rather than you know going back all the way and listing all the clubs that you've played for since you were you nine a

Coach really isn't interested in that

They're they just want a snapshot of your background and where you've played in the last couple of years

To go back any farther than that when you think about it guys think about the player you were four or five years ago

From now I mean you're a much different player, so you know to go back more than four to five years

I think is too much

Plus you have to make sure that you also have enough information to fill up this section

But you don't want so much information that you can't fit your achievements and references in one page as well

So just keep that into consideration

But so that wraps up today's video guys on how to make a soccer resume and soccer CV

This is the template that I would recommend you guys use and also sorry one last thing

As you guys can tell I maximize the amount of space that I have on one page

For a resume I know a lot of other players. They have a lot of white space within their resume

It is up to you if you want to have a lot of white space

But I like like I said I like to maximize the amount of information that I can give people

To just make myself stand out, I think the more information you have it can be the better

However you do want to make sure that it is still

professional-looking, and it's not you know just

There's just information everywhere you want to have structure to it, so yeah, that's why I say you should follow this template

I think it looks professional, and I've gotten a lot of great responses from teams

About my resume in terms of how it looks so

so yeah guys so that wraps up today's video on how to make a resume and

Kind of go from there

So as you guys can tell having a professional soccer resume is critical in order for teams to take you seriously

Just like applying for a job having a resume is standard and the same is true with in the soccer industry by clearly

Providing what teams you've played for in the past and then also your contact information

Hopes are more willing to bring you in and give you an opportunity

Than a random player who just shows up and asked for a trial and like I said earlier guys

Having a resume is a great marketing tool because it gives clubs all the information

They need to know about you and you can tailor your information to make you stand out from other players

Having the soccer resume

also saves you a lot of time and

explanation when you're writing emails to coaches Scouts or agents a lot of times you can keep your message short and concise with

Referring them to see your resume

That's attached in the email and with that being said that wraps up today's video guys on how to make a professional soccer resume

Don't forget to hit that subscribe button

That way you can check out more great videos like this one here in the future

And I will see you guys in the next video. Thank you

As in Euro Truck Simulator 2, set the steering wheels - Duration: 5:31.

hello, I will show you today

controller and I'll tell you

what effect individual settings have

let's start from the beginning

how to set the steering wheels from the default settings

we give the keyboard + your steering wheel

we'll go to these settings later

najważniejsze jest, żeby oś hamowania przestawić

on the left or in the case of the clutch the middle pedal

and then you can drive

we choose a gearbox

simple automaton, real automaton, skeweno or manual

my manual gearbox does not have a manual gearbox

if I give a manual one it will be sequential

simple automaton

lies in the fact that

we drive back under the brake pedal

but when we go forward and want to go backwards, we have to press the braking pedal twice

if we click the gas pedal twice, we go forward

as it was seen a moment ago

sometimes you have to look in the mirror because it can happen on the back of the bus

When I left the truck, the link is described under the film

and we're going on

a real automatic transmission is the brake is a brake, gas with gas

with this rod we change the gears to the front of the back

and sequential is just like manual only, that the forward gear is up to the back and back, backward

the most important it is

as now I will play

I am able to hear

vibration, noise and vibration of the steering wheel

which significantly interfere with the game

to turn them off

you have to go into the controllers

you have to change these strips as directed

compressive force

changes the support force

changes the support force

stiffness of feedback

practically the same

center of feedback

the steering wheel bounces in

the most important thing is to turn off the motor vibration

not to hear the noise

effects of terrain feedback

we are going along a paved road it will feel a hole in the road

and still gives another example

and still gives another example

and still gives another example

and that's what it's for

and damping is also important

it should also be turned off

the effects of collision pressure are the same as the terrain only when sedimented

Only I can not show it

during the collision he will tear the steering wheel from his hand

and it was evident that I raided the grass and you could see the vibrations of the steering wheel

It's all for today

I am sapling to my other productions

in description, you will find everything

in how to get out of a truck

and how to set the wheel to 900 degrees

goodbye

goodbye
