is a best seller on Amazon hence why I've taken a look at it and done some

research if you're trying to make a decision as to whether this is the right

safe for you or not keep watching because what follows is an effect like a

sum of all the reviews and by the end of it you should hopefully get a much

better position to make your own judgement call now in regards to

positive reviews let's we start with that about 77% of the reviews were four

or five star reviews which is pretty good for a you know a basic safe there's

two main reasons that it gets praised the first one and this is definitely the

biggest one is its value for money people just saying it's unbeatable at

its price point a good safe for the money the second thing that comes up is

and this is perhaps helped put the the safe into context and this is coming

from casual reviewers sorry positive reviewers I've kind of given you away a

hint of what's gonna be said a lot of positive reviewers seen that it is good

as a casual security safe and by that meaning it would keep away a casual

thief or stop kids from getting medications or some dangerous items

reviewers saying look it's not designed for or advertised for securing highly

valuable items and it's not recommended for such applications so the point here

is keep things in context it is a basic safe for you know casual security

if that's what you're after people are saying it's ideal for that application

moving on to things to consider and you know this casual security topic could

have almost been under things to consider it sort of my neutral category

and yeah enough said what are the other things to consider there's four other

things I want to bring to your attention now there's some people in the reviews

who mentioned that you can easily pick the safe by buying a tubular lockpick or

just by using a bic pen now if you want you can look

it up and see how this is done suffice to say that it's not you know

it's not a high-end safe some people say it can be picked within a minute other

people saying they lost the keys they tried to use these methods that people

talked about and it didn't work for them so you know it's hard to form a third

judgement suffice to say it's not a high-end safe so hence why I talked

about it being a casual security safe the second thing to consider is it's not

fire or waterproof however to the safes credit there was one reviewer who posted

a picture of its surviving a fire in their house now to be fair it wasn't

directly in the fire but going by the picture it was close enough to the fire

the plastic melted and you know whatever he had inside it was fine it survived

the fire so I guess what I'm trying to say is it kind of gives you a little bit

of an indirect or casual fire prediction even though it's not specifically

fireproof as long as the fire doesn't come too close to it number three

there's some reviewers recommending that you just put a battery-powered motion

sensing LED inside the safe so that when you open it you know light

comes on they recommend there has been a good option number four a lot of people

were irritated by the beeping sounds but some reviewers advised that if you read

the instructions there is a way to turn off the beeps okay moving on to the

critical reviews two main things that people criticize it for and critical

reviews or one or two star reviews make up about 16% of the total reviews number

one you know I touched on this under points to consider just people who are

criticizing the safe are criticizing it because they're saying it's very easy to

defeat and very easy to pick this thing about a Bic pen you can do it in 1

minute 2 minutes people saying different things you know one guy saying you can

do it up in under 5 seconds with a Bic pen I did actually look out on YouTube

and find some video people doing exactly that however as

noted there were some reviewers who actually said they tried it when they

lost the keys and it didn't work for them they had to get in another way so

you know I think you've got the idea here it's not a high-end safe it's not

going to withstand some serious attempt to defeat it it's really a casual

security safe okay the second thing is criticized as for the electronics

failing often this is described that the batteries just corroded or leaked I'm

not quite sure why this would be and the electronics fail there's quite a lot of

people talking about this within the critical reviews so that's it that's

what I found in doing the research I hope this gives you a good steer

honestly if you're looking for casual security consider it anything more you

know you're going to need to spend more money to get something more serious so

labeled as other aquatic products not sure what it is. Anytime I get one of

these packages from China it comes in one of these plastic envelopes. I guess

just to protect it on its long journey

anyway it takes a pair of scissors, so I'm going to grab a pair and open it up
