Waching daily Feb 21 2018

hey guys it's jennasea and welcome back or to my channel today I am hopping on

that bandwagon and I'm going to be doing a I tried following Blanks makeup

tutorial and I decided I wanted to be a little bit different so I'm doing

Jeffery stars doing Shane Dawson's makeup so basically I'm just gonna be

following Jeffery doing Shane's makeup and by the time that this goes out I

hope that nobody has done it um I also hope that the trend is still popular by

the time this gets out because I don't want to be irrelevant I want to get in

the beauty community okay so but first of all I'm gonna have to tell you I am

NOT gonna be using the same products as them in this video Jeffery basically

just tries to use the most expensive products he has so um yeah I hate not

gonna be able to do that so they started with a moisturizing primer that's like

$400 so I'm gonna be using the elf preppin hydrate balm they use a spray-on

foundation and again I obviously don't have that but I'm just gonna be using

the most of all coverage foundation I have which is the Burt's Bees goodness

gloves foundation and we're gonna do this beauty guru style oh how do people

do that and um I guess we're just gonna go in and you also put it on chains ears

so we're gonna be you know putting it in our ears too so free concealer they just

put it under his eyes so that's all I'm going to do and they used the Mac light

pop concealer I don't have that so I'm gonna using like the closest that I have

to it so I'm gonna be using another solid concealer which is the elf

all-over cover stick so he actually just took the Beauty Blender put the

concealer on it and then took her under his eyes with the Beauty Blender so

I really like this way of applying it I think it looks a lot smoother so then

they baked his under eyes with the dermablend loose powder and to be honest

I've never even heard of that I just have my Maybelline fit me

okay so then in the places that he like just house foundation he took some just

a normal setting powder and just kind of like buffed it around Shane's face so

now they are contouring him so I'm gonna be taking the elf contouring palette and

they do a really intense contour to be using a mix of these three shades and

you know what let's just do a mix of all of them so I'm gonna be running my nose

now and of course they go super intense again and they also use a fan brush so

I'm using a fan brush my nose Heike looks muddy so now they highlighted him

with a white toned highlighter so I'm gonna be using marshmallow from the

sugar glow kit and highlight with that so they did it on both cheekbones and

then on his Cupid's bow and nose okay so now they use setting spray before they

move on to eyes I'm going to be using the NYX dewy finish setting spray and he

really layered this on so they start by priming his eyes and they use another

like Paint Pot the Mac Paint Pot so I'm going to be again using the only solid

concealer I have so Jeffery decides to use the Natasha's Venona palette which

is like a hundred and fifty dollars no so I'm gonna be using the colour-pop

palette because they're doing like a sunset orange II look and that's good

colors this kind of matches the Natasha Natasha this kind of matches the Natasha

at dinner on a pallet a little bit actually if it takes a little bit of

like a skin tone shade and then a little bit of a like reddish orange shade so

they take that color in the crease and then next they take a

very very red shade and they use that to darken the crease I take a gold shade on

the lid the part of the area that we didn't really put any color on okay so

I'm like tight lined Shane's eyes and I really don't want to do this because it

never comes out but whatever so then we took a darkish Brown and like smoked out

the under eye so I look so scary oh my god

so they decided to keep his eyebrows natural which I'm happy about because I

don't have to worry about doing them so then they applied mascara and they used

the benefit roller lash I'm just gonna be using the Burt's Bees mascara okay

and the lated fake lashes and I'm gonna be using the hundred twenty Demi's black

Argyle I don't know they're very dramatic or I think they're so I'm gonna

be using them and then they used a peachy nude and I actually have the

perfect shade for that the Kat Von D Kat Von D no the wet and wild liquid katsu

in the shade nudist peach and then I finished with some more setting spray

they used the NYX dewy finish well they didn't I'm going to I hope you

The Legend Of Zorba - Duration: 11:42.

Zorba.

Zorba.

Zorba.

What if your briefcase had a secret?

Zorba.

What instead of reams of paper inside was full-featured computer?

Zorba.

Introducing, Zorba.

A rugged, portable computer for the new millennium.

Featuring a 7" green CRT monitor, two 5.25 double sided, double density disk drives and

detachable keyboard with 2 foot coiled cord.

Available now for just $1,595.

Zorba.

It's worth it.

Zorba Portable Computer.

The Expert's Choice.

Vsauce!

Kevin here.

With a 34-year-old computer that took me three weeks, 30 emails with three vintage computer

experts and a special request from an eBay store exclusively dedicated to selling old

floppy disks… just to get it to play Zork.

This is the Modular Micros Zorba 7.

One of the earliest mobile computers, its 22 pound weight is 11 times heavier than a

current MacBook, but it cost about the same at $1595.

Except that after adjusting for inflation, that %1595 is actually $4,000 today.

So in 1984, the equivalent of four grand got you 4 MHz.

Which at the time was four times the clock speed of Apollo 11's guidance computer,

but was about 996 MHz short of being able to run Flappy Bird.

So what can you do with this?

Skyrim.

Well, 1977 Skyrim.

A game called Zork.

Alright, so let's do this.

Let's pop this in and check it out.

There's the disk, hit enter.

And.. error.

And error.

Error.

It's literally just gonna keep doing this.

This is where I was stuck for weeks.

I'm just gonna reset it because it's not gonna stop beeping.

Okay and we're back.

This computer will not run software without very specific boot disks because it has no

built-in operating system.

Zorba was one of the last 8-bit portable computers running CP/M -- an operating system which

required booting from a disk before loading any software.

Computers that ran CP/M could run virtually any software at that time since it was industry

standard -- which it would have remained, except the company who developed CP/M failed

to sign a legal agreement with IBM to use it on their brand new 16-Bit computers…

So IBM went with Microsoft instead and MS-DOS conquered PCs.

Whoops!

The problem with my Zorba is I bought it without any disks.

Only 6,000 Zorbas were ever made, so finding one that still functions and has the system

disks is tough.

Also finding anyone who A: Knows how Zorba works and B: Has the ability to make new Zorba

disks was… difficult.

The disk with all the errors was from some guy who didn't know what he was doing.

But a guy named Retro Rescue System did know what he was doing and came through and made

me this system disk which does work.

Check it out.

Oooh.

And Zorba is alive.

It has a built-in 7" CRT screen, 4mhz CPU, 64k bytes of RAM, detachable keyboard, and

a weather-proof protective carry case.

These computers were referred to as "luggables" and they're the direct ancestors of laptops.

It was designed for business professionals to do spreadsheets and word processing but

it became capable of doing world processing.

In 1977 -- the same month Star Wars came out -- four guys from MIT turned a side project

into one of the most influential and forgotten pieces of gaming history.

Zork was the first game to implement gameplay elements that seem so self-evident that we

don't even think about them now.

Okay let's load Zork.

Now that the operating system is loaded in disk drive A, we have to access disk drive

B which is where Zork 1 is loaded.

And now that B is accessed we just type in Zork1 and return...

I messed that up.

Don't mess this up.

It's very particular.

And there we go.

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door.

There is a small mailbox here.

So one of the gameplay elements that we don't think about today is objects having weight.

A solid gold bar weighs more than a newspaper, and the total number of objects carried depends

on the weight of their contents.

Think Dark Souls.

Or that items themselves can have contents.

Meaning, it's not just a bottle, it's a bottle that must be opened because there's

water inside that you need.

And the capacity of containers is also considered so a paper bag won't hold as much as a bucket.

Zork also featured gaming's first real villain with its own personality.

In his book Twisty Little Passages, Nick Montfort identifies the thief as gaming's first memorable

character.

And the monstrous grue, responsible for one of the 28 ways you can die in Zork, became

an early meme, you can still find "You are likely to be eaten by a grue" T-shirts on

Amazon.

Zork's creators were inspired by a groundbreaking game called Colossal Cave Adventure.

"Adventure" was a text-based journey through a fictional underground cave based on the

actual Mammoth Caves in Kentucky, and researchers with access to high-end computers were in

love with it.

Dave Lebling, one of the Zork creators, said, "For 2 weeks, all work on the ARPANET stopped."

The precursor to the internet was delayed because of a video game.

But Adventure was too simplistic for them.

The parser only allowed for two-word commands, like "Go north" or "Take shovel."

They wanted to create a dynamic, immersive text adventure that could handle nuanced full

sentences and had a sense of humor.

Zork players could type full commands like > SWING BOTTLE AT TROLL, and they'd be met

with responses such as "Trying to attack a troll with a glass bottle is suicidal."

To distribute the game, Zork partnered with Personal Software, a company with an impossibly

generic name.

PS was responsible for VisiCalc, the first ever spreadsheet program.

Visicalc was one of the first pieces of software to lure businesses into computers -- and Zork

was along for the ride.

It's funny to think about now, but at that time, people had never seen a game this detailed

-- it wasn't even like playing a game.

It was like playing a book.

But there was no in-game map or strategy guide, let alone walkthroughs or YouTubing.

Zork players spent weeks making their own detailed maps of the world's dungeon, items,

mazes, and NPCs.

Although they eventually published a hint book printed in invisible ink to avoid spoilers

which now goes for $150 bucks.

The result was connecting a complex story directly to each player's imagination.

Without graphics to influence your concept of the game, everything you visualized came

from your own thoughts.

And like modern franchises like The Witcher or Mass Effect, players made choices and those

choices had ramifications.

They had agency in a fantasy world unique to them.

Zork was you -- only you.

Zork's rich world model helped pave the way for everything from Zelda to Resident

Evil, but very few people seem to talk about Zork.

So what happened?

Zork sold nearly half a million copies over the next 5 years and helped fuel the first

round of the personal computer boom.

But computers got more powerful.

Companies like Sierra invested early in graphics-based games which were about to take over.

Suddenly, the pioneering genre of text-adventure games became an echo of the past.

In 1985, Super Mario Bros. revolutionized home gaming on the NES and that system was

so legendary that Nintendo recently revived it with the NES Classic and sold over 2 million

units.

No one is reviving Zorba.

By the time Zorba came out in 1984 it was pretty much dead luggable walking.

Apple's Macintosh introduced the GUI with its famous Super Bowl ad and IBM's DOS-based

PCjr came at an affordable $999.

Zorba was trapped in time.

But Zorba was part of the initial wave of being able to take a computer with you.

Zork was ground zero.

Oh this is really hard to do.

This thing, no wonder no one bought this thing.

Let's take this thing with me, clunk, clunk, clunk.

Alright.

Zork was ground zero for complex storytelling.

And now everyday, we walk around with a computer in our pocket capable of turning our lives

into digital stories.

Your phone is Zorba.

Your life is Zork.

And the decisions we make can lead to Grue or gold.

And as always, thanks

for watching.

ESTO SUCEDIÓ EN MI CIRUGÍA DE NARIZ | POLINESIOS VLOGS - Duration: 8:23.

Ok, we're here...

He is speaking in Korean.

Do not laugh because he's going to laugh! He can not laugh!

How are you, Rafita?

Rafa is very drugged.

So drugged!

No, it's not true, he can not talk, but right now he is resting and he is going to be here for an hour to

see if he can go home and if not, he is going to have to stay here, it depends how he

feels, now let's see. .. to be with him for a little while.

We brought you something. Since we do not know if you're staying, then we brought you an outfit and

a little flower.

A cotton for you to be soft.

Oh! Little heart.

Lesslie.

- Did you see his nose? - Yes.

It is so pretty.

Rafita has a lot of pain... obviously it hurts.

And now they are going to check his pressure and his temperature before leaving to see if everything is ...

- Do you want to go? - He already wants to go.

- Yes? Did he say? - Yes

He is a warrior, I mean, really I can not believe that after a surgery like this you can go to your

home, but it is the methods and the scientific advance that physicians have made here in Korea.

Maybe in another country it would be more complicated because they are different techniques.

Ana, what are you signing?

That I give it up and I'm going to leave it here for experiments.

Oh God! They have started.

We're leaving this place, say goodbye.

We're home and Rafa is having his first glass of water.

All right, pain? no pain?

- I do feel a lot... - Me too.

Now what we are doing is drinking water because he has not eaten anything for more

than 24 hours.

Do you remember, Polinesios, that we had gone to the supermarket? That we bought a lot of food

and now we have a full fridge? Well now Lesslie and I, our mission is to finish this meal

because Rafa can not eat any of that anymore.

You made us buy a lot of food, Rafa.

This is Rafa's food, from here to here. I bought almond milk, rice milk,

bought a yoghurt, beans, pumpking porridge, rice with vegetables.

So these are the only things Rafa can eat because he can not eat anything that

he has to chew.

We are going to let him lie down for a while and then give him one of his little milks so that he can

rest super well.

Show them what your travel pills are.

No, they are for emergencies, that is, if something happens, it is in case of emergency, but...

What is the emergency? I do not know!

It's his medicine, see. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

They gave us some things to reduce his face, the time of Rafa's food arrived

and they gave us pumpkin juice that helps to reduce inflammation.

Lesslie, you did not serve the juice well, what are those bad serves? You're not being a good

nurse, a good caregiver.

I'm the best, contract me.

Of course not.

Polinesios, Rafa just wrote this tweet and...

And the polinesios are hardly going to find out what that tweet was about.

Rafa is going to sleep here, well, go to sleep!

The problem we face in Rafa's food...

Everything he can eat, we can buy it in the super and...

It is very processed, so what we plan to do is liquefy his food, the problem

is that we do not have a blender.

What do you say about it, Rafa?

He is seeing NINJAGO

Did he see NINJAGO? Do you like NINJAGO a lot?

It is your voice.

"We have you surrounded Garmadon."

I want you to see this.

This is what they put you in the hospital when you have a lot of pain.

It is serum with medication inside and you only put it here in his bag and he can go anywhere.

Right now we're back, Rafa.

Do not die, please!

Lesslie.

Get out of there, Lesslie, let's go to what we come.

Now ... The leg!

Get down from there. My God, Lesslie!

We come for the blender and we are finding but these are very large, so we need

an express juice one.

We have found it.

Finally we found the blender that we were looking for.

It's that little one there.

What are we going to feed him?

There are spinach, there are apples and water.

His diet is going to be spinach, apple and water, ok?

We went to the super to buy some wipes, pineapple, water...

- We also take porridge - Natural ones.

Karen starts dancing in the aisle of the supermarket. Karen!

Polinesios, Karen left me. Surely she went to eat something because she was already very hungry

and she was complaining, so let's go look for her...

Oh! We already found this girl. Here she goes. Why did you leave me paying? You left.

Because I came to see what we were eating and I found this delicious.

It's done, let's see this delicious meet.

Mmmm! It is delicious!

We arrive home and we will see Rafa what is doing.

We see him in the distance. Greets!

Ok, it's time to prepare his delicious juice of today that have...

Strawberry and pineapple! Do you like it?

Ok, let's prepare his dinner for today because we've already had dinner, my brother.

Taste your juice!

He liked it!

We make very good juices.

Good morning, polinesios! He has his first meal...

Polinesios, we came to the clinic two days later, they are going to remove the nose

plug, that was there, it was hurting all day, so he could not change well,

so he could not move so well because that thing was very painful .

Can you breathe?

Oh you cried, Rafita!

Did it hurt a lot?

Never touch yourself inside the nose, okay?

Now you are giving directions of how he should wipe his nose. You just have to

touch like the inside part like that and like that and you have to do it very well because if not, it can affect

everything that was done to you and it can hurt and you can swell more.

Polinesios, now they are going to put him an injection to reduce inflammation and that it does not take so long to recover.

They also put their little glasses because they are going to do it with a laser and this will go

through his arm and that is what will help him to reduce his face.

Polinesios, we left the clinic and now we find food for Rafa.

Powdered! You only put water and you already take it, this has rice.

Honey corn!

They say it's the food of the future, I would not eat these things.

- Oh no, Rafael! - Would you? Oh no!

Polinesios, we are already here in the restaurant we wanted, Rafa is going to prepare his meal.

Green cereal and there it has its porridge and its rice. You are going to eat that and we are going

to eat a delicious broth with meat.

You serve here in this dish what you want to put to your soup in this, it's like

I do not know what it is.

Rafa, I have a vegetable dish for you so you can chew it. You can not...

Hmmm, how bad!

We are going to prepare this delicious broth with a piece of meat here, see, that is, I have just

put it in and it has already been cooked. Oh, how fast!

Let's put a little of vegetables, see this. How delicious! We are going to...

This is how they do it. So and then...

Rafa, how do you feel that the points are going to be removed now?

Oh, finally, now! I did not want to have this anymore.

Nothing of that anymore.

Is it going to hurt? No?

Maybe it hurts a little.

A little?

Maybe a lot.

Stop Buying Rumors - Duration: 6:22.

Ok, this video's gonna be quick and brief and while this is mostly towards Nintendo

fans, this is really a thing for other communities too. Do we all know the definition of a rumor?

I mean that by the way, do you guys fully and genuinely know of the word rumor and what

it means? I'll give you a refresher – rumor, a currently circulating story or report of

uncertain or doubtful truth. "Uncertain or doubtful truth." It's not confirmed

nor proven real. But the common thing with Nintendo fans in particular is that their

expectations and hopes are based solely off those rumors and people get even more disappointed

and upset because that rumor or supposed leak isn't actually true. That's not Nintendo's

fault. Half of it is not just your own for taking bold claims at face value, which anyone

can literally do, but also because of said leakers and inside inspective 'sleuths'

spreading misinformation.

But here's what gets me. I hate leakers and people who gossip about these rumors,

not just because of setting expectations to varying degrees, but for the sheer fact that

if they get 20-40% of their supposed leaks right, they're somehow reliable despite getting

multiple things wrong multiple times. Whether you have background info or a history of being

linked with an inside source or not, you're guessing about as well and/or educated as

everyone else. For instance, Emily Rogers is a popular inside leaker in Nintendo's

community for spreading a lot of 'supposed info.' At the moment, she's sharing the

belief that Smash Bros. is coming to the Switch in fall of 2018, but whatever form it takes,

port, semi-sequel or full sequel, is undetermined. For one thing, this is coming from a source

that's been proven inaccurate over and over again. Emily Rogers was wrong about Female

Link in BOTW, BOTW having full voice acting, Mother 3 coming to Wii U *twice*, GTA V coming

to Wii U, Soul Caliber 5 coming to Wii U, Paper Mario & Animal Crossing's dates on the

3DS, Super Mario Odyssey being a launch title, Splatoon being ported AND a launch title,

Skyward Sword being a launch window title for Switch and more supposed claims to be

true. Another example, Laura Kate Dale; she was wrong about Super Mario Odyssey being

a launch title, Splatoon being a ported launch title, Skyrim being a launch title, Mario

+ Rabbids being a launch title, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Smash Bros. & Mario Maker being

ported to Switch in 2017, BOTW coming later in 2017, Pokémon Stars being a summer title,

Pikmin 4 being a reboot & released in 2017, Mother 3 coming Switch, Miiverse returning

to Switch, Virtual Console coming soon and more. Anyone remember the Pokémon Stars show?

A week before E3 Pokémon released a direct and practically 80% of viewers were expecting

Pokémon Stars to be an updated Sun & Moon port coming to Switch? And a majority were

so upset and vocal, Pokémon Company came out to E3 to confirm that a Pokémon game

is coming to the Switch? All because of a stupid rumor? People were also believing in

the false claim that Super Mario Odyssey was going to be a launch title and Breath of the

Wild was going to be a later release. Despite the vast amount of advertisement, marketing,

gameplay and confirmed information Breath of the Wild had at the time, 'oh no! it's

going to be released later while this new Mario game, that only has a single trailer,

is going to be coming out in 2 months!' Are you kidding me? Lastly, does anyone remember

the Gematsu leak? Back before Sm4sh was announced in 2013 and this random guy, either on reddit

or 4chan I can't remember, predicted Mega Man, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac,

a Pokémon from X & Y, being Greninja, Pac-Man, the Miis and up until the following summer,

he immediately got debunked because he predicted Chrom but Robin came in instead and the trailer

highlighted how Chrom was NOT in Sm4sh? Why did he suddenly get debunked, yet despite

these other sources being wrong multiple times, they're still being given credit and viability?

And another thing while we're on topic, Emily mentions Smash is coming to Switch without

any leads as to what form it'll take. That's not a statement a lot of fans have not surmised

at this point. We all know Smash is coming to the Switch, it's only a matter of time.

It makes sense for it to be released this fall while Nintendo launches their online

service, Smash is the strongest game to help encourage people to invest in that, let alone

the system itself, but who's to say they don't have some other game in store to do

so? Pokémon is coming to Switch either late this year or early next year and it being

one of the biggest franchises Nintendo has to offer, it's definitely going to attract

a major audience. But even then, the release window is a rumor as well. What about some

other franchise coming to switch, either already established or entirely new? We don't know.

With Nintendo, we do not know, but let me clarify, we're talking about a fandom where

despite Nintendo announces a new product aimed generally for kids, and it being a smart idea

nonetheless, some adults still complain and feel they get ripped off at the end. Just

because these people get 20% of they're guesses right doesn't make them any more intelligible

and educated as any other Nintendo fan. Even then, that 20% is something many other well-known

fans and not so well-known fans guess often depending on the circumstance. Why are leakers

still being displayed as credible sources when they, upon many others, have been wrong

about multiple things multiple times?

Wake up and smell the coffee. Remember how often these people have been either true to

every word they usher, or invalid in their claims. I'm not trying to insinuate harm

on these people, just watch you say and watch what you read. What's more, remember what

these are at the end of the day; rumors. Don't invest any stock in them. This sets up disaster

Easy-to-Create Top Knot Bun | Dad Hair School by Babble - Duration: 3:01.

Hi, everyone.

My name is Jorge.

And my name is Eliana.

And this is Dad Hair School.

Today we are going to do the Top Knot Bun.

Bu, bu, bu, bun.

All right, so here's what we're going to need:

We're going to need a hairbrush,

and we're going to need one of these,

and we're going to need these two funny looking things

called spiral pins.

[music]

The first thing I want to do, I'm going to get all her hair

and I'm going to make it into a high ponytail.

So you have to--

you have to kind of like grab the bottom,

lift it up, brush the front gently.

You collect it all, put it all together in one little bunch.

Just like this.

The next step you're going to do is,

you're going to grab the hair that's all tight like this

and you're going to get the hairband.

I usually put the hairbands on my wrist,

so it could be easier to access.

[music]

Boom, just like that.

At this point, what you're going to do is,

you're going to grab the hair that's tight right,

we're going to twist the hair that I'm holding like this.

We're going to twist it slowly.

Make it nice and tight.

And then, once it's twisted, keep holding it,

start twirling it around

and it's going to naturally just become a bun like that.

Okay, and there's going to be some leftover hair, right?

You're going to put that leftover hair under the bun,

but don't let go yet.

Don't let go.

You're going to have to put your hand,

and then grab with your other hand the spiral pin,

and you're going to insert it on this side,

twist it in, which is the coolest thing ever.

Now you're going to put the other spiral pin

on the opposite side.

This will keep both sides stable.

[music]

Like that. You see?

That's so cool.

And that's it.

Ta-da.

Ta-da.

What I like about it is that if you're running

or if it's too hot

-or you have stuffy, long hair, you know, -Or if you have long hair--

put it up.

And in my opinion, I think this is the perfect hairstyle for like,

if you want to wear a crown

like, you know, if it's like your wedding or your Quinceañera.

It's a really good thing like--

It's a good skill to have, you know.

If you go on a roller coaster, your hair doesn't get stuck anywhere.

I didn't even think about that.

Like, you can pull your hair back by accident

and this is a really good thing to help you.

-Yep, that's right. -Like, it's really good.

[music]

All right everyone, so we are done with the Top Knot Bun.

Thanks for watching Dad Hair School.
