Urbanites - Making Of Anxious Minds Vol. 1 & 2 - Duration: 5:03.
What about the idea of recording in the countryside?
I thought it was great, man.
Because the plan was to record all the instruments in a live performance.
And as long as it captured the that energy, it would be great.
And as long as it captured the that energy, it would be great.
Well, it was about getting away from everything...
Being able to focus and getting the chance to live a few days...
Totally immersed in the music...
I believe that...
A band needs to be a team.
And those days in the countryside enabled that.
So we would wake up...
Would have breakfast together...
Had many conversations all together...
And were all the time really connected.
So, we would wake up and only worried about getting some food and getting to record the songs.
It was not like our daily routine in the city...
Where we go to work and only have the time to ...
Dedicate ourselves to music on the spare time.
There was no internet or any kind of appointments...
So we didn't have to worry about anything other than...
Playing and recording our songs.
How did Fred Teixeira (producer) helped us on the recordings?
And how had he influenced us...
Well, first, from a technical perspective...
He's a listener from the "outside"...
Of the band...
And really trained to see...
The little flaws in our work and able to correct them...
And let things go on more naturally...
He'd influenced us on ...
Doing this "rooted" rock' n roll ...
Something very...
Basic...
And very energetic. And he also...
Guided us on letting the tempo go up a little bit.
For us to release the energy of the songs.
What are my expectations about the EP release?
Well, I expected that a lot of people will listen to it...
An enjoy it a lot...
And that it opens...
Some doors for us to...
Play gigs here in Brazil and other countries someday.
I expect that we'll be able to demonstrate...
For everyone... What we really want to pass along.
Our sound is authentic...
It's nothing driven by...
Commercial purposes... It's obvious that...
What we want to show...
Comes from a place of truth...
From what we really think about...
And we know that...
It can reach a lot of people.
Fame, success and women. No...
Well, maybe...
Man, I don't know...I want the songs to be well recorded...
The way we expect...
And with all the qualities that they could reach with the production...
By Fred...
And that we all come to like it...
Everything from here is a bonus.

Introdução à Meditação Ishaya - Duration: 3:37.Hi, I'm Anandamaya.
Hi, I'm Gambhira.
We are meditation teachers of the Ishayas of The Bright Path
and we are here to share our experience a little bit
and to invite you
to know more about Ascension.
Ascension means 'to rise'.
To rise above the mind, to rise above the patterns,
the limiting beliefs,
to rise above suffering.
Ishaya means 'in support of the highest Consciousness'.
This is the Ascension of the Ishayas of The Bright Path.
Ascension allowed me to have a much more gentle
and loving life with myself and with other people.
Just to be able to realize
how much judgment I had about myself
and to free myself from this judgment,
it broadened my relationships, allowed me
to understand other people better, to love more people
and to realize that there is nothing
I need to fix in others or in myself.
It was just a matter of focus,
I put my focus more
on peace, on stillness, on love.
And it all amplifies the perception, it leads us
to perceive more. To perceive the sun shining,
to perceive the full moon, to perceive
the wind around me as it is
right here right now. And no longer be stuck
to difficulties, problems or
past stories, or to situations
that I project into the future.
So what we recommend is that you Ascend regularly.
Why?
Because with regular practice we learn
to distance ourselves
from our minds and problems and to rest more
in our true Nature.
Our true Nature is peace.
Our true Nature is joy and harmony.
It is this infinite potential, it is this blank sheet.
And how can I do that?
How did I learn
to relax and live more in this present moment?
Before, I was stuck with my thoughts
stuck with my emotions, stuck with my feelings.
I thought I was that. But I'm not.
I'm not my body, I'm not my mind.
I am the Consciousness that observes the body, that observes the mind.
Resting in this Consciousness,
that is where I can live my life with tranquility.
Ascension provides this rest
through four very simple techniques, based on
Praise, Gratitude, Love and Compassion.
I can rest in my true Nature.
Because it is something so simple, it can be practiced
anytime, anywhere,
whether it is driving, going to work
or also meditating with closed eyes,
so that we can connect
with our essence, connect with that peace,
right? Constantly.
This is an invitation for you to know a little more about Ascension
and to have your own experience.
It's about having your own experience.
Come with us!
I invite you to try it too.
So, that's it...
Gratitude!

Tony From Truth or Drink Exes | #TBT | Cut - Duration: 4:34.- Yeah.
I'm not gonna cry, Blaine.
You're not gonna... - Oh, sorry!
You're not gonna get me to cry.
(jazzy cadence )
My name is Tony and I am a freelance worker
in film video production.
I believe the first thing that I got involved with
was being the art director
on Would You Rather With Dan and Dietrich.
Making the coffin was a lot of fun.
- [Workers] One, two, three.
- I fucking hate this.
- But the waxing I think was definitely the most memorable.
- Yup.
(loud tearing) Ooh!
(screams)
- I did, I did a Truth or Drink with my ex-girlfriend Sofya.
- God, I don't know, I'm kinda worried
with what's gonna come out of this.
- See, I'm shaking.
I'm afraid it's gonna like...
Can I just... - Can I go? Yeah.
- Well, that day actually we were supposed
to go out on a date
and then someone in-house contacted me,
who's a good friend of mine
and told me that it was happening.
And it just so happened that that exact day,
we were going on a date
and didn't know what we were gonna do.
Well, we just planned a day to hang out.
It was just a casual hanging out with an old friend.
So I asked her if she was into doing it
and she said yes.
- My name is Sofya.
- And I'm Tony.
- We used to date.
- Is dating the right word?
- I think so.
- We lived together.
(laughs)
For four years.
- I guess that's how we know each other.
- We were somewhat nervous
and I've always known Cut to come up with...
unexpected challenges.
Oh fuck!
- Oh fuck.
- Yes!
Do you ever pop into my head while I masturbate?
Wait, that question's for you, I'm dirty as hell.
(laughs loudly)
I think if you put enough drinks in anybody...
Was it two shots?
- Yeah, it was two shots for you.
Alright, you go.
(sighs)
- Nostalgia kicks in,
and it can become very emotional very fast.
It's gonna hurt.
I just don't (sighs)
I don't know where she's gonna be when she gets old.
I did.
And I had to stop myself from reading comments.
I think what stood out for me the most
was this interpretation
that Sofya and I still had
the ability to be together
in an intimate relationship.
If you could do it over again, what would you change?
- I don't think I'd change anything.
I think it ended when it needed to.
- I would put in more time.
- That would've been cool.
- I don't think we will because when we broke up,
we had to acknowledge some of the things
that weren't working.
- When did you know it was over?
- When your friends became more important than me.
- I didn't feel like my friends became a priority.
It was just like I knew what kind of support I needed
and I wasn't getting it from you.
- We needed to not be together in that way,
but it was important for us
to keep what we thought was valuable,
which was our friendship.
Do you still love me?
- Yeah.
Of course.
- When you really love someone, you want them to be happy
and you let them go.
- Are you happy with our current relationship?
- Are you happy?
- In some ways, yeah.
- Good, then yes.
- I was, yeah.
- No, no I'm not.
I think it may have, in part, to do with the video
but I'm 100 percent certain that it has a lot more
to do with something else.
I'm grateful to that person.
As much as I want to hate her so that I can just move on...
(sighs)
You can't.
You can't regret it.
It's done.
