When the two-part Thunder K7 keyboard was released on the market, it was immediately known which product will receive all the awards for the innovation of the year.
As time passed, we only wanted the next K7 model to be part of that storm caused by the Thunder model.
It's time to draw the line, today in cooperation with the local Gigabyte office on the test we have Aours K7 RGB Mechanical Keyboard and Aorus M3 RGB mouse.
It has passed more than a year since Gigabyte released graphics under the Aorus brand. Now they have directed their forces towards peripheries where they want to be dominant.
We were surprised by the ease with which Gigabyte decided to include peripherals in its Aorus brand.
Newcomers in the periphery field have set up a domestic task for leading manufacturers to make one forged product.
The K7 mechanical keyboard package comes in gamer-designed Aorus color combinations. The packaging clearly indicates that it's RGB varnish with red Cherry MX switches.
The best features of the keyboard itself are highlighted on the back, while on the side is a picture of the accompanying package in more languages.
The keypad is packed in a black bag with Arous logo with a rich accompanying equipment. The package contains 4 R2 and 4 R3 caps in orange color on which we do not have any print.
Caps can be replaced by the tool for removing the buttons that also come in the package.
Want to learn something? R2 and R3 are labels for buttons that differ in dimension and angle.
The first impression we got after we opened the keyboard was, man, this keyboard is for everyone.
The sleek and minimalist design keyboard comes in gray metallic color, and the choice of material is cut to brushed aluminum and plastic, giving us a very premium feeling during usage.
The most beautiful detail that adorns this beauty is the Aorus RGB logo above the numerical part.
In addition to the premium Aorus logo, there are 4 locking lights, among which is the Win Lock, which slowly but surely becomes an integral part of all keyboards.
We were expecting a knitted cable, instead we got even better solution.
Rubberized cable length 170cm(5.58ft) with gilded USB 3.0 connector.
Red Cherry MX switches are intended for both gamers and people who deal with long haul, such as reviews, news, scenarios, etc.
Very quiet, low profile buttons make this keyboard for us a general purpose.
I leave you to see for yourself how much buttons are not uproar.
For a year or two, we forgot how non RGB products look like, so Aorus nevertheless took care that we would be deprived of some desire for some time.
Beautiful font and full color make this keyboard look great.
A built-in memory chip has the role of keeping each profile in your keyboard and thus converting it into a plug and play product.
To translate, you can take your keyboard to a gaming event or a playroom, and your RGB profiles will be saved.
What makes this keyboard one of the best is the matrix, the more precise keyboard has a complete N-key rollover,
or for those who are less likely to understand, it's the ability of the keyboard to register the speed of each key, which means that the keyboard is immune both to ghosting and jamming.
When Račke passed his hands through the keyboard, he punched the wheel. The expression of his face was, what is this?
When he looked in detail, he figured that the keyboard had adjustable lifters which are immune to glide.
The "little" thing that gives the glow to the keyboard.
I would not have my voice malfunctioning light effects and mods, so I'll leave you to enjoy it for a while.
All of these modes you see can be set up through poor software that needs a very serious redesign.
It's a shame that with such a good product comes a poorly optimized software.
Although the keyboard is a serious product, we found two flaws.
I hope someone will explain why we got a fixed cable instead of micro usb connectors.
The other thing is in the lighting itself. During the continuous illumination we noticed a slight flashing of led light, but this only occurs in this mode. It is possible to say only about a concrete specimen and not to the whole series.
We really did a lot about the keyboard, almost to forgot about M3 Mouse.
The package comes in the same colors as the keyboard, on the front we have a magnet so before buying we can check if the mouse lies in our hand.
The package itself, except M3 mouse, there are a manual and a warranty.
The mouse is weighing 100 grams without additional weights perfectly fits with all manner of holding and especially palm grip.
They have invested a lot in the design of a M3 mouse that is mostly made of plastic and rubber texture that is very pleasant to the fingers.
Unfortunately, M3 is designed to suit only the right-handed ones.
The mouse comes with Omron's buttons that can be reprogrammed as well as with the 6400DPI sensor and 20 Millions clicks life span.
Two buttons above the wheel are used to adjust 4 levels DPI. The change of DPI itself through these keys will be noticed on the side of the mouse.
Aorus RGB logo whose colors can be defined through the software makes this mouse a nice sample.
The same as with the keyboard, the mouse is equipped with a rubber cable 2 meters long with a gold-plated USB connector.
In order to provide a perfect glide for the mouse, we used advantage of the Aorus AMP 500 mouse pad.
AMP 500 is made of 2 materials. Rubbered part with Aorus logo, where the mouse slides perfectly and silicone part of the surface that will ensure nonslipping of the mouse pad itself.
It would be a good thing that this pad does not cost as M3 mouse, $ 40.
Slowly get to the end. It is of great importance that you have a keyboard to enjoy.
We know that mechanical keypads are very expensive for our region, but believe me this keyboard is worth every cent.
Although the Cherry MX switches related to gamer switches and not to people who use them for typing, we can not agree here.
Račke once said, this keyboard is more comfortable for usage from the Cooler Master Master Keys Pro L, which we tested a couple of months ago.
Although Račke fell in love with the keyboard, M3 mouse left him breathless.
The possibility of combining the DPI with the keys on the top creates the possibility of professional FPS game play.
Testing a mouse is one very ungrateful job because it will rarely get the same impression because each user has his or her opinion.
At a price of $ 40 this mouse is a serious purchase.
Without counting the software, both the mouse and the keyboard tell a serious story for both gamers and ordinary users.
If you want to deduct $ 200, you have a warm recommendation from us.
Once again, we thank Gigabyte for giving us this samples, and you like this video and subscribe to the channel for more quality content.
