If You're an Empath, You Might Also Have a Sense of Not Belonging - Duration: 3:27.If You're an Empath, You Might Also Have a Sense of Not Belonging
Empaths are gifted people who have capability in reading minds, emotion, and behavior.
Regardless of their great ability, it is common for empaths to be left behind with no words.
They really can be isolated and even avoided by many people because empaths are extremely
different from common people.
There are some reasons why empaths feel that way.
First of all, it is all about how empaths perceive the world.
Empaths have different ideas on how this world works.
They realize that we are living in lies.
Many people lie in front of empaths, and they keep telling the wrong things as if nothing
happened.
Empaths understand and know this.
However, they cannot do anything because they know the effect will be bad.
Sometimes, this confusion leads nowhere.
It makes empaths feel helpless because they cannot accept the facts that people around
them are liars.
It is inevitable, and it is incurable in some sort.
It is absolutely problematic issue that empaths constantly experience, and it makes empaths
feel detached from others.
The empaths also withdraw from that kind of community because they know it will affect
them in the long run.
Therefore, it keeps the empaths away from people.
Although, deep inside they want to fix this condition, and they start to figure out how
by themselves.
They really cannot trust people around them because they are consumed by lies.
Secondly, empaths are looking for the real truth that other people are not willing to
seek.
Empaths always want to know and learn about the purpose of life.
This allows the empaths to help others in need.
We'll know that people are different, and so do the empaths.
They want to be the best mediator that make other people feel happier through the righteous
path.
It is true that not all people seek happiness with the proper method.
Some of them will do anything just for their happiness without considering the effects
to other people and surrounding environment.
It is definitely not a good idea, and that is why empaths want them to walk into the
right direction.
However, in the process, the empaths are always troubled because they understand that people
are different.
They cannot just force people to do things that we all want.
This is when the empaths start to rethink and start worrying about themselves.
The effect is that the empaths withdraw themselves because of exhaustion.
Talking about exhaustion, empaths are best known for the place for dumping troubles.
They listen to problems a lot and they offer solution.
They sometimes also talk to stranger knowing that she is having a bad day.
This causes the empaths to spend their energy for helping those people.
When they are emotionally exhausted, they need to withdraw from society, and they do
not feel belong to that community.
They like living alone especially after they are trying to heal themselves.
Recovery process takes time, and it is absolutely not ideal for empaths because it makes them
detached from people around them.
Well, that's the reason why empaths have such a strong sense of not belonging.

Making FIRST Glue-All Slime - Duration: 4:18.hey guys welcome back to my channel today in this video I'm going to be
making my first ever slime with glue off so let's get on to the video
first I'm going to be taking this 32 ounce glue-all bottle and
I'm going to be pouring it into this 16-ounce container
then I'm going to put in some baking soda and I'm going to use my mixing tool stir that in
and with glue the thing that I like more than clear glue or school glue is that
it's like so much thicker so whether you're slime comes out as what I felt
was like a fluffy slime but my mama said that to her it it kind of looks like a butter slime
so here it is with all the baking soda mixed in and then I'm just going to pour into
contact lens solution and I'll show you what it looks like when it's done so here's
what the slime looks like it's a really nice texture it's kind of like fluffy
sign I like a butter sign the only thing is if you play with it for a while it
gets kind of hard like it's a little rippy but that might be my fault well
I'm not really sure but I was playing with in your fan in my window but so
here it looks like now it's a really nice glue it might be a little weird
because it says interior which I'm not sure if that's an any difference but I'm
gonna look at that and then I'll come back and see if there's any difference
just look it's the same as just Ranko glue so it does make it a little bit
hard after a while but it is so nice and stretchy like a butter sign but when you
look like and it has that fluffiness sort of look
to it like a fucking sign so yeah here's a sign I'm going to show you some ASMR
up clips so here is the sign ASMR
that was the video I hope you guys liked it don't forget to like this video
subscribe check out those certifications and share my channel to all your friends
bye

If You Face These 10 Problems, You're Definitely An Old Soul - Duration: 3:59.If You Face These 10 Problems, You're Definitely An Old Soul
Some people are just old souls and need to be accepted like that.
If you are one of those people called crazy because of your way of thinking that can feel
the energy of people, or like a hermit because it takes time alone, or 'freaks' for believing
in alternate things, the best thing you can do is to continue being faithful on yourself.
As an old soul, trying to adapt to empty society and empty spiritually will only make you sick
and suffer.
Do not allow authority figures or institutions to pressure you to betray your desires and
natural circumstances.
Being an old soul is not always easy.
They are often labeled boring or weird, and they live life with the constant feeling that
no one really understands it.
If you know the old soul, take a minute to see the world through their perspective.
You may eventually understand them a little better.
So, here are 10 problems that only an old soul would understand.
#1 - The rejection for anything 'mainstream'.
Mainstream music is heartless, passionless, and washed up.
Mainstream media is polluted, biased, and deceptive.
The mainstream lifestyle is dry, boring, and disappointing.
Because you recognize this, you have adopted 'alternative' ways of thinking and living
that may seen weird to other people.
#2 - The appreciation of the journey.
You have learned to trust and appreciate the journey.
You aren't trying to be "deep", you simply can't help but be overwhelmed at
times with feelings of gratitude, thankfulness, and humility.
You understand that life is impermanent and don't take anything for granted.
Others around you don't understand why you like spending time in nature so much, why
you meditate so often, or why you stare at the stars all the time, but that's because
they are simply too distracted with worldly matters to see the big picture.
#3 - They never feel really understood.
Because of their differences in beliefs, interests, and ideas, old souls never feel completely
understood by the people around them.
They often feel the separation between them and the rest of the world.
#4 - They seem to be alone.
The old soul is often seen as an outcast in the social sphere.
Even if they have a circle of friends, they are still seen as "black sheep" of the environment.
They are seen as different and slightly odd.
Instead of taking the time to get to know the old soul or understand their perspective,
people often push them to the curb and label them as loners.
#5 - They enjoy being alone, which can impact their relationships.
Being an old soul can isolate from time to time.
They enjoy with friends and family, but they also need their own time.
When loved ones do not understand their need to relax and recharge, it can affect their
relationship.
#6 - They attract strange people.
There is something about an old soul that makes strangers want to come to them and talk.
Keep lending your ears to listen can be a little draining.
The old soul has a hard time getting rid of the conversation because they feel they have
an obligation to listen.
#7 - Old souls have difficulty finding the place where they belong.
Even when they are surrounded by family and friends.
They spend their life searching for the place that feels like home and a soulmate.
#8 - Different ways to have fun.
Old souls don't need something extravagant to have fun.
They find pleasure in small things.
They love nature, a simple drive, swinging in the park or drinking milkshake while watching
the sunset.
Simple moments like these make an old soul happy.
#9 - People don't label you right.
No one can quite figure out what it is that you are.
They have trouble applying the right label to you.
But that's their mistake in itself.
You can't label yourself as anything.
Old souls are each brilliantly unique individuals.
#10 - Being highly observational and intuitive.
From a young age, you have been able to get a really good read on people.
From watching someone interact for just a few minutes, you are able to identify the
characteristics that person would have and the lifestyle they live.
It's almost like you have this software that allows you to look around and download
the information on other souls.
This is because you have seen the archetype of that person before in a past life and are
familiar with the general behavior and psychology of that archetype.
You have interacted with thousands of people throughout the course of your souls history,
so there is really no archetype you haven't interacted with yet.
Well, those are the 10 problems that only an old soul would understand.

I'm so happy they changed Deku's costume a little.
Ah the hands guy... I think there is more about him than we know so far. I can imagine he has an interesting story
and he probably has his reasons to act like he does. Maybe we'll understand him in the future.
Watching the opening I really want to know what the season brings.
Of course, probably Deku!
I thought they didn't want to fight so soon.
They can be happy they're not out in the forest atm.
I don't like to say it, but I think this villain is kinda cool.

Symbolism in Horror Films: "Proxy" - Duration: 11:38.A crash from the other room!
That feeling of dread wrapping me in it's embrace-- paralyzing, but only for a moment.
I knew that if I didn't do anything, if I didn't enter that room, I would lose her.
I crept forward, putting my hand on the door handle that was terribly, abnormally cold…
and turning…
I put the entirety of my weight into the door, flinging it open, just to catch a glimpse
of tendril-like shadows retreating through an open window.
I ran over to it, screaming at the top of my lungs… but there was nothing there.
Nothing.
The yard was empty…
Suddenly, the door slammed behind me, and I knew.
I knew he was there... but nothing could have prepared me for what I saw, as I turned around…
Boo!
Hey, I'm Jessie and this is Video Tempest, where we plow through the storm of YouTube
content, bringing you reviews, critique, and analysis, and today we're looking at "Proxy:
A Slender Man Story."
I first saw this short a few years ago, but it has stuck with me as one of the most excellent
horror shorts based off the Slender Man character-- which, if you were unaware, was created by
Victor Surge for a "Paranormal" Photoshop contest held on Something Awful back in 2009.
It got developed into a Creepypasta and a video game that blew up with Let's Play-ers.
"Proxy" is a lesson in short-format jumpscare horror, directed by Mike Dahl Quist, that
utilizes excellent editing, sound design, and symbolism to accomplish its goal of scaring
the crap out of you.
And while a lot of people may put up their noses at the mention of "jumpscare horror",
it is certainly a part of the genre, and, in my opinion, is used well in this short.
The first scene immediately draws us in by making analogs to probably the most well-known
iteration of Slender-- the video game.
We begin with a first-person view walking through the forest with a flashlight, stumbling
upon bags of what looks to be blood or organs.
The slow pan along the ground builds tension, until we get the scare of seeing the girl.
The director's decision to only show the girl for a few short frames is an excellent
one-- we don't have enough time to really take in what we're seeing, and consequently,
we're left with a flash of this horrible scene, with the details left to be filled
in by our imagination.
Then immediately, we're brought back into a mode of tension, as the music and sound
of cicadas builds during the title card, only to be dismissed by the screaming alarm clock.
The sound design here actually plants a seed-- having just experienced a scary scene and
seen something horrific, the film subconsciously plants this trigger within us-- the sound
of cicadas meaning "danger".
Our very own Pavlov's bell.
Moving on, the movie releases the tension a bit by having our male lead do something
innocuous-- looking through photos on Facebook.
The tension builds a bit as he discovers a strange figure in the picture, but is then
released as he jokes:
"Why is Yao Ming stalking my birthday party?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Really?
He's like, right there-- back by the... trees..."
The manipulation of tension is of the utmost importance with a horror film.
My teacher in school demonstrated this with a wooden ruler.
Too little and the audience gets bored, too much and the ruler snaps before it should...
but by increasing and decreasing it, you keep the audience on edge, as they're constantly
watching and waiting for it to get to the point where it snaps.
What follows is an excellently edited montage showing our main character researching the
topic of Slenderman on the the internet, and wonderfully depicting the passage of time.
Take a look.
While this entire sequence serves as a lesson in montage, there's two moments of particular note.
The first being this hyperlapse that slowly dollys in.
It expertly shows the passage of time through the change in lighting, while at the same
time maintaining a feeling of unease with the jerky movements of our main character.
The second is the setup and jump scare at the end-- the man falls asleep as we get to
the end of this very calm sequence, and the tension is low, when we're hit with this:
The director took this moment however to not just incorporate a jump scare with Slender
on the monitor, he actually keyed out the wall behind the desk, replacing it with the
forest we saw at the beginning of the film.
Another important symbol, as we'll see.
We move on to a dinner conversation between the man and his girlfriend, and we get a little
bit of expositional dialogue about the man's dreams that serves to illustrate his psychological
decline.
If you listen carefully, though, you start to hear the sound of the cicadas creep into the scene.
Followed by a moment where all sound becomes muffled just before Slender is revealed once again--
This is excellent sound design.
All these auditory cues build throughout the movie and act as motifs-- auditory symbols
that have emotional meaning to us:
The cicadas represent building tension-- dread of what's to come.
When we hear them, we know that Slender is coming.
The muffled audio tells us "Slender is here, but you haven't seen him yet."
It's at that point that we know that our main character has lost touch with all reality
around him, and is under the influence of Slendy.
And finally, the jumpscare audio is an overload of the senses, as pervasive to our ears as
a scene full of blood and gore is to our eyes.
All of these sounds work together to create an auditory experience that holds as much
tension as the story itself.
After the dinner conversation, we have an excellent transition using a match tilt, creating
a seamless transition between the dinner scene and the man awake in bed, leading into one
of my critiques of this film--
I think this scene where the man gets into his car and sees Slender once again is unnecessary
and should have been cut.
It doesn't really add anything to the overall story, and it utilizes another jumpscare too soon.
I don't really see it serving a purpose, but hey-- if you disagree with me, let me
know in the comments why!
Finally, we move on to the scene that really sold this movie for me.
We see the man sitting on his couch, centered in the frame-- solitary, and as we cut to the medium,
we see he's lit with very harsh downlighting, visually representing his psychological downfall.
The elongated shadows fall over his eyes, to the extent that they're almost entirely black.
The eyes are the windows to the soul, and we can see his soul has been overcast by darkness.
And-- once again, the sound of the cicadas is present, but they're not getting louder--
they're constant.
Like Slender is now this man's dark passenger, who is with him always.
As he approaches the door, the camera is on an extreme cant-- showing just how unstable
and unsure he is.
We get an excellent build-up here, followed by a red herring, followed by probably the
most bad-ass representation of Slender I have ever seen.
Just watch.
I love how even at this moment, as the big bad steps through the front door of this man's
house, we're reminded that, in reality, there's nothing there.
His girlfriend doesn't see Slender.
The evil is within the man's mind, and all the sights and sounds we hear is a fiction
within his head-- a symbol of his decline.
The man hears running water and steps into the bathroom, leading to one of the best and
most unnerving transitions within the film.
He draws back the curtain, revealing the source to what we've been hearing throughout the
film-- the dark forest.
As he looks up, the ceiling of the bathroom disappears, followed by the rest of reality,
as he is now entirely surrounded by the forest.
But is the forest real?
"What's happening?
Where are we!?"
"What are you talking about?
We're home…"
Nope.
The forest is a representation of Slender's influence, and now that he is completely encompassed
within it, that influence is complete.
We end where we began.
The dreams the man had of this forest that we saw at the very beginning of this short
come full circle to the reality now.
His girlfriend is killed, and we see her from his perspective… but when we swap the camera
around to look at him, he's standing in his living room.
For one final time, the director reminds us that this man is a proxy.
As he stands there, soaked in blood, terrified of what he's done, we see the influence
of Slender upon him by the glitch effect that overlays Slender's figure upon his.
One final, fatal reminder that it's not the monster we see in the jumpscares that
is the real threat…
It's the monster that lives within us.
What are some of your favorite horror films?
Do you go for spectacle like Saw, or psychological horror like The Silence of the Lambs?
