HOW TO DEAL WITH NEW YOUTUBE GUN POLICIES - The Fight Continues: Day 39 - Duration: 4:31.
Welcome back to the gun collective, my name is Jon patton.
Guys its been a while since we talked about the fight BUT i FINALLY have answers.
It took forever to get some clarity on a lot of the issues from YouTube but I have answers
to the questions we were all asking.
I'll break it down one by one along with the policies as I see them.
If you aren't super familiar with them, I made a video about them a little while back,
I'll have that linked below.
The short version of that story is that YouTube recently implemented a bunch of policies that
if not followed, could end up getting gun channels shut down in a hurry.
First, the policy about direct links/direct sales... thats the first policy on the page.
Let's talk about that.
The long and short of this is that the real issue youtube has is the links.
I spoke directly with them and got clarification that this does NOT mean speaking positively
about something is going to be construed as intent to sell... the policy is focused in
on the links in the description that everyone uses.
I asked them specifically about verbal call outs to websites from our old videos since
TGC is riddled with that sort of thing and they said the links are the concern.
Beyond that, the ones that are mentioned in the policy are direct sales of guns, and specific
gun accessories like bump stocks and drum mags.
While this eliminates the ability to post direct links to places like Brownells or buds
gun shop and the like... it should not be an issue for accessory manufacturers that
fall outside of this.
So the question remains, what should you do to handle this on your own channel or what
should your favorite channels be doing to tackle the issue?
Well, we've taken the approach and I know a few others guys are doing this as well...
we are sanitizing the channel of links to places that fall into the area of concern.
AKA we are going back and changing out the links and switching them to go directly to
Theguncollective.com.
Any serious creator is going to already have their own website and this is just a simple
path correction for us.
So if you click a link in our description and end up on the gun collective partner page,
you know why.
We are working on a redesign of that page to make it a little easier to navigate but
either way, that's what people should be doing.
Dig into the descriptions and get ahead of this before it becomes a real problem for
your channel.
The next policy was one that was a huge concern and quite frankly could be the downfall of
great reloading channels like Ultimate Reloader.
The policy basically said that you cant show people how to manufacture a firearm, mags
or ammo among other things.
I asked them specifically about this in regards to putting together guns that are completely
legal and showing the install process.
They essentially told me to avoid doing that altogether.
Luckily for us that has not been a big part of TGC leading up to this but there are TONS
of guys that do 80% builds or assemble AR's or like I said, reload ammo... and as far
as I could tell...
YouTube has a no-go policy on that kind of stuff.
Now you can get around that by simply not showing the process in depth, but I know that
that sort of thing isn't always possible.
To summarize, if you're thinking about making a how-to video on reloading ammo, assembling
a gun, or installing some parts... steer well clear of that topic.
You are walking into a mine field and will likely not come out unscathed.
And that actually covers the last part of the policy which says that its not okay to
show people how to install some of that stuff.
Like I said, they have advised me to stay away from that type of content and I suggest
you do the same.
Now, none of this is written in stone.
In fact, I fully expect youtube to expand on these policies in the future so do not
take my word as gospel.
Make sure that if you're going to do something that you understand how it fits against the
current policies and what you may have to do in the future.

Different people have predicted the apocalypse on different dates.
It was on one such D-day when all the planets had aligned perfect, when all these predictions
were going to come true, and when all those with spiritual powers were saying that life
would never be the same again.
Many were trying to get to place that are powerful spiritually so that they could stay
safe.
There were also crowd spending all their money and then some because they thought the economy
was going to come crashing down anyway.
Others were bidding a sad farewell to those close to them.
I was travelling through Europe, completing a spiritual pilgrimage with some other people.
One small girl who was just 8 years old was scared because she had been told that it was
Doomsday.
She asked our guide if all of us could go to a place where we would be safe from all
kinds of danger.
The guide merely took her hands and told her that she herself was a place of safety and
power.
As long as she dwelt on her own spirituality, she would be protected no matter where she
goes.
Those words will always stay with me.
I�ve traveled quite a lot and I�ve been fortunate enough to see the most magnificent
holy places that the Earth has to offer.
I�ve seen the Pyramids in Egypt, Machu Picchu, the vortices of Sedona, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Fuji,
Jersusalem, and other spots we have deemed holy.
I have loved all the pilgrimages I�ve been on and each place has inspired a sense of
awe and wonder within me.
But when I was reading �A Course in Miracles�, a particular line made me stop and think.
It read: �The holiest spot on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present love.�
The book says that because we are spiritually aware, our geographical location does not
matter.
The condition of our spirit is what makes us stronger and protects us.
Wherever we can feel God is a Holy site.
We can reach awakening by strengthening our relationships and replacing all negative emotions
with love.
In all our pride, we believe that if just make some changes, everything will work out.
But there is no point quitting your job without sorting out the problems that are driving
you away.
They will just follow you to your new job.
These external changes won�t work unless we change the way we think.
After we have healed ourselves, everything else will fall into place.
The world will appear to us as we view it.
If we believe that there is safety and kindness in this world, that is the world we will find.
All reality begins in our imaginations so it is up to us to choose what we project.
It is definitely a one of a kind experience every time you visit a new sacred spot but
rather than trying to find enlightenment in far off lands, we should be looking for it
within ourselves.

But how do we do to find an affordable plane ticket?
Hi, and welcome to this sixth training capsule, to help you on your next trip.
Today, we are going to talk about planes.
More specifically, plane ticket.
As I explained in the last episode, a plane ticket is very expensive.
But today, we will see together some tips to reduce it's costs.
And it's not easy, because companies make the price vary
several times a week.
Buying a plane ticket is a real dice game, although when you take
place in your seat, the guy on your left may have paid his ticket two
times more expensive than yours, while the other on your right will get it for half the price.
I'll tell you right now, if you want to take a plane ticket for Madagascar
on July 15th, you're put a finger in the eye.
Because the first rule to find an affordable ticket is to be flexible.
NOT FLEXIBLE LIKE THAT.
You have to be flexible on your schedule.
Before going further, I'll introduce you my best tools for finding my flights.
Another tool developed by Google.
This is Google Flights.
By going on it's web page, Google will have you already geolocate and suggest you as
departure airport, the one closest to you.
In my case, it's Montreal.
As an example, we will take the famous flight from Madagascar I mentioned earlier.
Let's say I really want to leave on July 15th, for a week.
Google finds me the cheapest ticket for one round trip, so 2568 $.
I see here that it's actually three stops, so four planes spread out over a total of 46 hours ...
Ouch.
By pressing view flights, I can see all other options.
Here we can compare all the flights that lead to Antananarivo on July 15th.
We see that Google has already filtered the cheapest flights.
To the far right, there is the price, and if we go to the left, we can see
number of stops, and airports in which they are made, the lapse of time between
the first take-off and the last landing,
as well as the airlines that operate the flights with the time of the first take-off
as well as the last landing.
The little plus in the corner is the number days after the first take-off.
For example, this flight with Air France with only a single stopover, and 5h less costs $ 544 more.
It's really expensive and it's not good flights.
Let's see what we can do if we are flexible.
So if we come in the dates of travel, there is an option for flexible dates.
From here we can choose if we want to leave a weekend, a week, or two.
If I want to leave in July, I click on July, done, and I restart the search.

That's why a 6:50 flight lands 11:50 later.
For example, when I came back from Japan, my plane made a flight of 12 hours, and I landed
at the same time as I took off.

There are also the details of the seats. The average space for the legs, the wi-fi
USB connections and video on demand.
Finally I think we do not need to see the last flight in detail, I think you understand the principle.
If you select this flight, you can then choose the return flight.
Personally, I would be tempted by that one.

You will not believe how much the price of a same ticket can vary.
For example, I follow the prices for this flight since few months already, and Google sends me
by email a warning every time that its price changes.
And on this chart, we can see that since that I follow it, its price is gone from 380 $
and it went down to $ 260 for eventually to go back to $ 540.
You understand now when I said at the beginning that the guy your left could
have paid his ticket twice you price, while the other on the right only the half?
So, observe the variations, and buy your ticket when it is at the lowest price.

Before ordering your ticket online, call a local travel agency and asks if

sat atop it there were teeth that protruded from its mouth over running
both upper and lower lips and then there were the eyes amber colored orbs that
held neither good nor mercy within them they seemed to burn holes into her body
as it looked at her from head to foot that felt the countertop bump against
her lower back without realizing it she had been retreating backwards as the
thing on the other side of the glass approached she very nearly lost her
breath that had been coming in short rapid bursts when she saw the thing
stand up on two feet she watched as it straightened up stretching its back the
sound of several sickening pops came to her ears as joints resettled into new
positions the beasts head disappeared above the top of the door before it
leaned back down to once again lock eyes with her its upper body looked more
human than animal and it was definitely male and looked like something straight
out of a nightmare her heart began to pound even harder feeling as if it would
leap through her chest Khan placed a muddy paw on the glass and began to bark
and whine as he always did when he wanted in
the commotion stirred up by cohn brought her from the growing trance she found
herself falling into the moment of clarity brought a few things to mind and
into perspective such as the day she found her rosebush pulled out by the
root the same one she had pricked her finger on the complete lack of wildlife
in a place that should be crawling with it moreover now the realtor was in such
a hurry to get away from here the day they moved in he knew something was in
those woods and didn't say anything it also explained why Kahn would stand at
the door growling in the days before he disappeared Beth was brought from those
memories as the beasts placed one of its huge clawed hands on Kahn's head calming
him into silence her mind filled with fear and confusion at what she witnessed
in front of her however she also realized Kahn no longer belong to her
for whatever reason he was now the plaything of the monster standing next
to him both clenched her fists in as much anger
as fear in doing so her hand closed around the phone lighting up the screen
and with that trembling hand she quickly punched in 911 coming through the tiny
speaker sounded like a chainsaw cutting through the now suffocating silence a
voice soon answered asking what the emergency was but before she could say
anything a low rumble pierced her chest Beth dropped to the phone to the floor
as she turned and once more look to the thing outside in the I drool fell from
the creatures mouth as it slowly spread its jaws revealing jagged teeth fit for
only one thing sweat beaded on her brow as the rumble
with in her chest increased her will started to become less and less her own
a scream caught in Beth's throat when the thing closed its mouth and formed
what she could only call a cruel smile she watched as it sniffed the air and
brought its gaze from her eyes to rest on her protruding belly the Beast raised
a hand and slowly rubbed its own muscled stomach while it dragged a thick tongue
across its lips Beth wrapped her arms around herself in
the back of her mind she knew there would be no stopping this thing if it
decided to break through the glass door Beth once again felt the low rumble
intensified within her chest she closed her eyes as her mind began to cloud in
the room spin she felt the countertop slowly slide up her back until she found
herself sitting on the floor forcing her eyes open she once again looked at the
Beast it and the world around both seemed to blur the rumble she felt moved
down her body and rested in her lower stomach a sharp pain shot through her
lower back the muscles in her abdomen tightened as her water broke and spilled
out onto the floor between her feet tears welled up in her eyes when she
felt her baby move another scream tried to force its way from Beth's throat as
the Beast slowly slid the door open and stepped inside the room with two
graceful steps it was standing over her she watched as it leaned over almost
touching her face with a large wet nose she felt drool that was still oozing
from its mouth dripped down falling on her cheek the smell of fetid breath
Filter nostrils causing her to fight back the Bile that had replaced the
scream stuck in her throat the realization of why this thing was in her
house became all too clear she tried to fight it but the spell the monster had
cast was overwhelming another pain shot through Beth as David was beginning to
crown he was coming into this world regardless of the monster standing over
them waiting for him to arrive as the labor pain subsided Beth looked
up at the creature to see it had backed away through the haze she heard a siren
and saw a blue flashing light the Beast made the two quick steps toward the door
where it stopped and looked back at her it held up a gnarled finger pointed at
her and smiled before stepping back through the door disappearing back into
the fog with kahn in toe
