We left the Ba Be National Park without a place to stay.
We knew we could not make it all the way to Hà Giang, but still we wanted to go as far
as possible.
We got some really bad weather.
Rain and wind made us struggle until we stopped at Nà Hang city.
We stayed there two nights, and left when we knew the weather would be better to go
back on the road.
We left Nà Hang early morning hoping that the weather would keep getting better.
And we were right, as we were moving to Viet Quang, the city where we planned to stop for
lunch, we were feeling more confident and happy that no more rain would bother our trip.
But there would be still one last bad thing that we didn't expect.
During those first 60 kms we enjoyed the ride along easy, flat, and wide roads with a stunning
landscape of beautiful fields and magnificent mountains.
We didn't have to worry more about going up and down the hills,
or big trucks coming on narrow roads…
BUT!
so.. we had our first technical problem, mechanical problem.
We have a flat tire.
Just one minute ago, we just noticed.
And we had to stop here.
We are waiting for someone who come and fix it.
At least it's not that cold and it's getting warm.
And we could eat some fish but we are not that hungry now.
Anyway, the road was so nice, but we had this problem.
Yes.
We also were impressed by this man's long thumbnail.
In Vietnam and other Asian countries we saw many man with a long pinky nail or thumbnail.
We didn't know why they have it like that.
We did some research and asked some people about it.
We could not find an exact answer but here are some possible reasons:
Sign of status and wealth: people with long fingernails do not do manual labor.
In ancient Vietnam and other Asian countries, scholars used to have very long fingernails.
Even the lower class nowadays keep one long fingernail to have an appearance of wealth and culture.
Luck: Some Vietnamese also believe that if the little finger (including the nail) reaches
past the knuckle of the ring finger you'll be rich and intelligent.
Practical: Some people admit it's very useful for picking earwax, and pick their nose and
opening plastic wraps or cutting tape.

We were so thankful to these guys.
They fixed it quite fast.
We knew that motorbikes can be fixed almost anywhere on the road.
There are plenty of repair shops and since a lot of locals ride motorbikes all the time,
they usually have the necessary pieces and equipment.
After the quick fix we were set and ready to continue on the road.
The weather was getting better and we were excited to keep going with no problems.
We went until the city of Việt Quang.
There, we stopped to have lunch at some restaurant where they had dance music pumping out loud.
We got pretty excited and started to have a feeling of achievement, and on top of that,
the weather was getting better and better!

We started feeling great.
The sky was so blue, and we were getting warm.
We still had plenty of time to arrive to Hà Giang, so we stopped for a nice coffee on the way.
Our asses hurt so bad so we stopped at this coffeeshop.
And then one guy who was just leaving the coffeeshop gave me this.

All's well that ends well.
We had a great feeling of accomplishment and enjoyed the rest of the sunny day.
We bought some flowers as a gift for Nhung for her Birthday and to thank her for her hospitality.
We went back to the Jolly Homestay, and we met the newest member of the family.
Ha ha!

2018 Mustang GT Performance Pack RTR Chin Spoiler Review & Install - Duration: 10:36.
If you're after an aggressive but not over-the-top way to spice up the front end of that 2018
Mustang, then the RTR chin spoiler might just be for you.
The RTR option will combine durable injection molded plastic with a textured black finish
in addition to a bolt-on design for the mid to high $300 price point.
Because the chin spoiler bolts into place using some pretty basic hand tools, let's
call it a strong one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, with a little bit
more on that later in the video.
Now, in my opinion, RTR has made some really killer, really unique parts for the Mustang
dating back to their S197 parts, the '15 to '17 cars and now the 2018.
And two big areas in particular that I really dig with the RTR stuff is their wheel designs
and their front chin spoilers.
Again, both very unique in the category and certainly stand out amongst some other parts
that you're gonna find here on the site.
Now for 2018, RTR took that refreshed front end of the Mustang and toned down their '15
through '17 chin spoiler to what you guys see here on the table with me today.
And personally, I really enjoy what they did with this option, because with their '15 through
'17 chin spoiler, look, it was very awesome, very aggressive, however, it might have been
a little much for some casual Mustang owners out there.
So, the '18 version again in my opinion is gonna be a nice balance of adding some aggressive
looks to the front end but without being too wild or over-the-top.
As for the build, well, you're gonna find a very durable material here with the injection
molded TPO plastic construction.
And listen, guys, if you know Vaughn like I know him, then you know he can be a little
rough on equipment.
So knowing that, the crew at RTR designed this thing to take some abuse.
Finally, the chin spoiler has been given that textured finish much like the other factory
plastic found around the 2018.
So it's going to blend in perfectly.
As for the installation, well, no cutting, no drilling, no permanent modification, instead
you're reusing a lot of your factory hardware in addition to some of the stuff RTR has provided
you with.
So with that said, call it one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here.
And to give you a better idea of what's expected for this job, here is a detailed walkthrough
and a tool breakdown.
First thing we're gonna do is raise our car up on the lift.
If you guys don't have a lift, that's fine, you can use a jack and jack stands.
Once you've got your car in the air whether it be on a lift or on floor jacks, you wanna
start off by removing the 19 7 millimeter screws and 2 plastic rivets on the belly pan.
Once you've got all 19 screws out, you can then remove the 2 plastic rivets.
I'm gonna use a pry tool here.
Next thing we're gonna do is move into the inside of the wheel well.
There are three plastic rivets that we need to remove in here.
Once these are out on both sides, we can remove the whole belly pan in one piece.
Then we're gonna do the same thing on the other side now.
These are he last pins that we have to remove before the belly pan comes out.
All right, guys, so what we did was we left one seven millimeter screw in place here so
that this thing would not fall down and hit us in the head.
So once you've got all your pushpins out and all your screws out, go ahead and remove the
last seven millimeter screw and this should come out now in piece.
Now that you got your belly pan down, you're gonna reveal 10 more 7 millimeter screws that
are holding your factory chin spoiler on.
We're gonna go ahead and remove those 10 screws and then on each side there are 3 more pushpins
that will need to be removed as well.
Once you've got all your fasteners out of the front chin splitter, we can now grab it,
pull it forward, and remove it off of the car.
Next thing we're gonna do is remove the 10 speed clips that are located on the backside
of our factory splitter.
Once we have all 10 of these off, we can transfer them over to our new RTR splitter.
I'm using a pick.
If you guys don't have a pick, you can use a small screwdriver.
All right.
We can transfer over our speed clips onto our new RTR splitter now.
And we're just gonna slide them right into place here.
And if they don't seat properly, you can bend the center piece of metal in just a little
bit, and that will hook on the inside of the hole to help it seat a little bit more properly.
We're now ready to get our new splitter installed on the car.
Take notice of your three alignment pins.
You got one on each end and one directly in the center.
You wanna line those up with the holes on your bumper.
That's gonna hold it in place for you until you can get some screws started.
All right.
We've got our new splitter installed now.
Starting from the outside edges working to the center, we're gonna start to put the 10
screws back into place followed by the 3 pushpins on each corner of the splitter.
We've got all of our seven millimeter screws in.
Now we can put the six pushpins back into place on the corners of our bumper here.
We're now ready to reinstall our belly pan.
That's gonna wrap up our review and install.
