Visiting Lil: On moving countries, NAVI and future plans - Duration: 23:47.

Hey there! This is Yana with the second episode of "Visiting NAVI".

This time, however, we're not inviting anyone, we are invited ourselves.

The thing is that Lil moved to Kiev a week ago.

In fact, he moved into a place near mine, so we're going to pay him a visit.

We'll see how he settled in and ask about the reasons behind this move.

Here's Ilya.

Hello people, peace.

So this is my apartment, welcome, and take your shoes off.

This is my housekeeper and my girlfriend, Diana.

How are you? Are you fine with the camera being here?

It's no problem.

Well, over to you.

This is a one bedroom apartment, the second room is the kitchen combined with the living room.

Let's start with the most important, the bathroom.

There are a few lighting schemes, the first one is called romantic. We can add some light.

The bath is huge.

It's very nice and cozy in here.

Have you been living for a week here?

Yes, a week.

That's great. Do you like the area around?

Yes, it's cool. There are places to go out, to have a meal, Pozniaky is a great area.

Can you show us your workplace?

Yes, sure, let's go.

This is the second room.

It's very cozy here.

Here is the smart TV, it's an awesome thing, you can watch Game of Thrones with a subscription.

This is my workplace, I've set it up in two days.

It appeared that it's very hard to find a table in Kiev.

If you order it, it will be delivered in a week or two, so I had to go to the shops myself.

You thanked xtrem4eg on Instagram for the PC, right?

Didn't you bring your own PC?

Not yet, I have friends in Maincast, V1lat and xtrem4eg, I asked them for a PC.

They told me they had a spare PC and a monitor and let me take it.

The chair was provided by NAVI, I assembled it myself and now I can sit in it and play Dota.

I've assembled one myself too, it was a bit difficult, especially the back was a bit heavy for me, not for you probably.

Where do you chill mostly? Ilya is streaming and what do you do?

I watch his streams actually.

Yes, she is a moderator in my chat.

And where do you sit?

On the couch, she watches it on a tablet.

That's cool.

She doesn't really know stuff Dota.

How was it? Red - kill, green - heal? Ban bad heroes, pick good heroes?

Your mom told me she was a bit upset because you didn't want to live there.

That you told that you wanted to move.

Why get upset?

She was a bit upset...

She understands it wasn't an option...

She does, but like every mom, she was a bit upset.

It was mostly not about the area, the area is cool, but once my mom went for a walk,

I was playing, and some people just climbed up on the balcony.

I heard someone knocking, turned and saw a guy waving there.

I didn't understand what was happening.

In the end, I turned the lights off, I was still young, about 16 or so, and didn't know what to do.

Take a knife? It was questionable. Pushing him off the balcony? Could I?

So the guy just climbed up the balcony, maybe on a dare, I don't know.

After that we glazed it, so it's hard to climb up there now, but anyway it was the main reason.

Yea, answering the question you didn't ask, about the reasons behind my move.

Yes, there are places like that around Moscow.

Why did you decide to move to Kiev though? Because it's closer to NAVI, or some other reasons?

Well, for now I'm still in NAVI.

Second, the prices here, I can live here comfortably even without Vitrus.pro-level salaries.

You can afford most things here, even if you're not playing for VP; living is relatively cheap here: food, entertainment, so it's fine.

Where are the inside stories you were posting on Twitter?

In the same place as 1 thousand followers.

Really? So was your idea to gain followers unsuccessful?

Yes, I didn't succeed. From time to time, Twitter removes bots or something, so the follower count decreases.

We had a challenge with Faker, I was slightly ahead, but then our followers count dropped and that was it.

It's the first reason, and the second is... yes, you need to ignore comments and stuff,

but sometimes I read them, and people say that these facts are too obvious,

so if people don't want them, I won't post them.

I'd like to sum up the results of this season and hear your thoughts on it.

Did you assume you wouldn't make it to TI?

What do I think? The results are terrible, this is one of the worst seasons of my career.

I don't remember, maybe Danya or someone else said it already, but the thing is we couldn't become a team.

I mean there were a lot of things...

The team exists when people want to play together, spend time together, and it comes naturally.

In NAVI it was different, a lot of things were done unnaturally, because of politeness and stuff.

I think I bonded the most with Vitya, he is a great guy.

All of them are good guys, but we couldn't find the synergy to get through even the open qualifiers.

You've already been inactive for two months, is it like a holiday for you, or the time to improve some skills to become better?

Even better? Is it possible?

On a serious note, the first month... With a pace of life like that, you simply don't have time to improve health.

For the past month and a half, I've been doing my best to improve health, teeth, and stuff.

Mainly, it's a time for mental rest, because when you've achieved some good result and once used to be on top,

and then you get in a slump and hit beyond rock bottom, it's hard to recover mentally, to find the motivation and resilience to move forward.

Right now I'm focused on that.

Where do you find the motivation? What do you say to yourself?

That's a tough one.

Well, probably...

I don't know, I've always been eager to prove to myself that I'm worthy, that I can do and deserve better.

So proving to myself is my motivation.

I'd like to ask about NAVI players, in particular, Crystallize.

A lot of people noticed that he's improved a lot this year in terms of skill and overall as a player.

What can you say about him, and what can we expect from him in the future?

I can say that Vlad is a great player.

We have a similar mindset and view on things, like the team and stuff.

Vlad has always shared my viewpoints, when I suggested something in the game, he mostly agreed.

He would do that not because he was trying to play up to me, but because he had the same opinion, he is a great guy in this regard.

Talking about his in-game qualities, he has great micro skill, he plays a lot.

I like that while he is still kind of new to the competitive scene, he is already a professional.

There are few people like him, he is very calm and collected.

If something goes wrong, he won't rage, tilt, even if it's some deciding elimination game at Epicenter.

He is always focused and does his best, it's great.

What the future holds for him if he keeps it up and gains a little more experience and confidence?

I think the confidence depends not only on you, but also on your teammates and how well your team is doing.

If people have faith in you, and I'm certain that sooner or later he's gonna form a team where people will have that faith,

he will probably become the best carry player out there.

Because currently the best carry is Ramzes, but Roma has certain qualities that don't allow him to be the best in all aspects.

Vlad's got what it takes.

- So is he the number one potentially? - Yes.

Returning to your Twitter posts... Gosh, we've talked about it a hundred times already.

Nevertheless, since some time has passed, if you could change anything in terms of your

attitude towards opponents, other people, would you change anything?

Well, you know, I wouldn't change anything, because this was for a reason: to understand some things, draw certain conclusions over time, etc.

And secondly...

I couldn't change anything or write anything differently, because in that state of mind

and that attitude I had back then, I felt it was necessary and the right thing to do, that's why I did that.

So I don't think I would change anything, I've drawn conclusions, and I've become the person I am now because I used to post toxic things.

So I'm fine.

Tomorrow's Lil, when you will be on top again...

Would I change? I'd be a bit different, I might gloat a bit, but not much.

Because I've played in NAVI for a long time, placing last at tournaments so I could gloat afterwards.

That's right, it's like being on top and then life pulls you down to reality.

Yes, it makes you draw certain conclusions, take off the rose-colored glasses

and start looking at the world and things differently.

Ilya, you know, maybe we're seeing a real-time anti-hero into a hero transformation.

That'd be a beautiful story.

A truly NAVI one.

What's the difference between a position 4 support and position 5 in the current meta?

What position do you want to play come new season?

At this point, I can say for sure that I'll be playing position 4, I had zero fun playing as the 5.

Why?

I don't feel my impact in the game.

That's not my thing, I enjoy wrecking opponents rather than warding.

I switched to position 5 for the sake of the team, I wanted things to work out, but it didn't.

I can't say this was for nothing, it was a great experience for me after all.

And the main takeaway is that I don't wanna play position 5.

That's not bad, at least it helped you make your conclusions.

Yes, actually, it was worth it.

Speaking of differences, position 4 is more reliant on the play style and the way different teams operate.

Position 5 is a warder, who buys wards and support items: dusts, sentries. The main focus is warding.

When you're playing as the 5 on a high level, about 70% of your focus should be on warding.

You don't look at how someone casts their spells or what's going on in lanes, it's all about warding.

Your focus is on the heroes and their movement.

For instance, you're going into the opponent's jungle,

and you have vision on an enemy hero with let's say 2-3 wards entering your jungle.

Based on the timing of where the enemy hero shows up next time you have to figure out what spots they might have warded.

This is really difficult and you have to do it every game.

Quite often I heard people blame me for bad warding.

It turns out that we're playing a game and give up a part of the map,

then the enemy team just goes and places 6 wards there.

And you're, "Guys, I don't know where the enemy wards are"

Sure, I can spend all my money on sentries and try to deward, but that wouldn't make much sense.

So let's play well and don't let enemies into our jungle.

This is probably the biggest difference.

Position 5 is responsible for vision.

Vision on the map, rotation, and if there's an option - making calls like, "Get back", "Group up", "Let's do something" etc.

Position 4 is a full-fledged core that doesn't farm in early game.

But as the game progresses, you start to push out lanes, roam.

The idea is still the same, but the meta has shifted towards more static lanes.

You run a double offlane, but other than that, everything's pretty much the same.

I don't think that there's no distinction between position 4 and 5 supports.

The only thing is that sometimes the draft implies that your entire lineup needs farm.

For example, Force Staff is enough for Sand Kind to have an impact,

while you also have a position 5 Disruptor and this particular game forces him to go for an Aghanim's Scepter.

As a result, you have two supports sharing farm.

Okay. What are your thoughts on the current 2-1-2 meta?

What patch did you feel most comfortable playing on?

I, for one, like this patch, there's action in lanes, no 1v3 matchups in most games.

I can't say that I like or dislike something.

What I like is that game's changing and it's awesome.

There's no lack of variety.

One of the reasons why I moved to another team... Or how do I put this... Was removed from the team,

is that, according to certain people, I was "bad" at roaming.

The meta has changed to static lanes now.

So it's much easier to play, compared to what it used to be on the previous patch,

because you couldn't always understand where on the map you were supposed to go,

and now you don't even have to think about it, you just go double offlane and play from there.

It's easier now.

What do I like? There have been changes to some heroes, there's an even bigger emphasis on the laning stage.

You can't say now, "Guys, I wanna play Earthshaker" and get "Yes, sure, go ahead" in response.

Now you gotta play Warlock, SK, Skywrath Mage, the kind of heroes that do well in lane.

Also, the hero pool has changed a lot.

Previously, roamers used to be 'fat' heroes that can contest runes or something,

but now you see a Skywrath Mage as the 4. When was the last time he was used as position 4?

The hero that just sits in lane and has no options for rotations.

What do you think about TI? What style of Dota will we see there?

TI is going to be really fun, I watch pubs and I noticed a lot of pro players practice some weird stuff.

What kind of stuff?

The oddest thing was position 4 Ursa, the hero's running around with the Orb of Venom killing people.

Also, Dark Willow has been significantly buffed.

The hero doesn't seem to be designed for laning as she's mostly viable in a trilane scenario,

but I've seen Rodjer play it, and GH had a few pages of playing Dark Willow too.

So, anything can happen, really.

But again, every tournament has its own meta.

Every team can have its own meta, and we might very well see Nature's Prophet getting back into the drafts.

He's in every game now and very strong for some reason.

Also, I've seen a couple of Brood games.

You just pick Brood like you don't care and win a game.

It might be anything, but the main focus will be on the laning.

All heroes that are strong in the laning stage are gonna be relevant.

Will you be watching TI closely? Or maybe you plan to go on vacation?

I'll have to watch TI closely.

Some inside information.

And the last question about AI bots that Valve are actively developing now.

Those super bots that will compete against 5 pro players.

From what I've seen... By the way, it was announced today that there'll be a showmatch either at or before TI...

- On August 5 I think. - Yes, of bots against the English casters, there'll be Blitz, Cap I think...

What do I think...

Do you think bots will be able to win?

Yes, absolutely.

What's your overall take on that? Doesn't it scare you?

It doesn't. I think it's cool, evolution, technology development, AI.

It's an exciting time to be alive.

Let's say 5 or more ago a phone that could do anything would create the wow effect,

but now it's common, which is amazing.

Speaking of bots... Very few people know of the old version back in Dota Allstars, 6.46b or something,

that featured the hardest bots to play against ever.

They could calculate your HP, resources, last hit flawlessly.

They were Dota geniuses, no matter how good you were, you would get destroyed.

I think yes, it's cool to have a brain, feel the game and the hero you're playing.

But Dota is basically about numbers: timing, projectile speed, mana cost, damage, movement speed, hit and run,

and a lot of other things are about numbers.

And I think bots can calculate numbers better than most people.

How do you think will individual skill of the players change

if those bots are introduced to the game and you could always practice against them?

I think it'd be great.

Just imagine you could...

I think it'll either remain the same or get worse.

Because there are some things that people can't do,

and you're not gonna play TI final against bots, you're gonna play against humans,

who also make mistakes and do some things off of emotions.

But if you're playing against 5 bots, you're gonna jump in and you're gonna instantly hexed.

What would you practice here exactly? That you can't blink into enemy heroes and use your spells?

For example, Earthshaker jumps in from the fog of war and instantly gets hexed.

Yes, you're probably right, after all, Dota is a subjective game,

and fans cheer for a certain person because of who that person is.

Also, there's a lot of controversy about why there are still referees in football.

Now there are advanced technologies that can tell you whether there was an offside and a goal or not,

whether a player was diving or not, and stuff like that.

But the idea is that people make mistakes, referees make mistakes, football is a game of mistakes.

I think the same can be said about Dota.

Before we wrap up our interview, share your plans for the summer.

- Today's... - July 19.

First I'd like to complete my treatment, in particular, an orthodontic one, maybe something else.

I was invited on the 29th to go to St. Petersburg, so I'll be there for a day.

I plan to stay there for a couple of days to see more of the city.

Then I'll head to Moscow, for Masha's birthday, you all know what Masha is, aka Marple.

You can wish her a happy birthday later.

After that, I'll go on a trip, I won't say what kind of trip, until August 28.

Then I'll go on vacation with my family, for a week or 10 days.

September marks a new Dota season, so I'll have to think about the team, unless someone does it for me.

I'll probably continue playing Dota.

Also, I'll keep doing sports, eating healthy and going out to breathe fresh air.

That's it for my summer plans, what about you?

Well... Yes.

I plan to enjoy the rest of the summer.

HUGE UNBOXING! | 4 CARS AND 1 BOAT! (Charger Police, C4 Spider, 2 Trucks, 1 Boat!) | Craxer - Duration: 7:18.

Hey Guys And Welcome To This Video.

Today I Am Gonna Unbox, A New Car.

This Is The Alfa Romeo C4 Spider.

As You Can See, This is NOT Hot Wheels.

This Is Majorette.

Or,

Yeah, I Don't Know How To Pronounce It, But.

It Looks Real Good. So Yeah.

Today I Am Gonna Unbox It, And.

Let's Just Got Right Into It, Here We Go!

[Intro Rolls]

So Actually, There Is A Little Hole Here,

I Don't Know If It Is Useful Or Not. But,

We Can DEFINENTLY Tear It Apart That Way.

It Might Just Take A While.

[SpongeBob Theme] One Eternity, [Get's Distorted] Later.

There We Go.

Oh, That Is Good, That Is Pretty Good.

There We Go. Can We Get It Out?

Yep, No.

I Got It There, Got It There.

So There We Got The Car.

Now As You Can See, It Is White,

And It Is,

[Cricket Noise]

It Is A Convertible.

Which Is Pretty Cool.

I Do Like Convertibles,

Cabriolets.. Whatever You Wanna Call Them.

They Look Really Good.

And Look At Those Rims!

They Look Lit.

Okay, So I Actually Went To Germany, Just To Buy This Car.

Because, They Apparently Don't Have It Denmark.

I Don't Know Why?

They Just Don't.

But It Looks Really Good.

And Then It Is In White

I Never Had A White Car, In My Car Collection, So.

Yeah It Looks Pretty Good.

I Really Like It.

So I Think We Should Move On To The Next Car.

It Is A Really Cool Car.

It Is A Police Car.

And As You Can See, This Is A German,

A German,

Brand.

Called "SIKU"

See Up Here.

US-Patrol Car.

Police "Américaine".

I Guess That Is "Police American".

So.

Let's Just Get This Open.

So I Actually Know, How To Get It Open Easily.

You Like, Slide This Thing Off.

And Boom, There We Go. No Damage.

And Then We Got The Car Here.

And, I Think It Is A 1:64 Scale

Im Not Quite Sure.

Like When You Compare Them.

The Police Car,

Is Like, Way Longer.

But, You Know.

Now, When You Compare Them Like This

**They Are Both Around 3 Centimeters [about 1.1 inches]**

So.

Yeah.

It Is Pretty Cool.

As You Can See, This Police Car Is The Dodge Charger.

You Can Open The Doors.

I Think A Lot Of SIKUs Can Do That.

I Am Not Really Sure, But. Yeah It Is Pretty Cool.

You Can See The Interior

Right There..

See The Steering Wheel In There.

You Can See The Seats.

Yeah, There We Go.

This Are A Really Cool Police Car.

We Got The, (beacon)

Really Cool.

Yeah, I Got More Cars.

They Are Not Really Necessarily, Like.

You Know, Supercars Or Anything.

They Are Cars, So.

Give Them That.

It Is Those Two, I Also Bought In Germany.

I Actually Didn't Bought Them.

I Got Them For Free.

As You Can See I Opened One.

Because Why Not.

There We Go.

There We Go. That Is One Car.

Or, One Truck.

And Then We Got Another One.

And, There We Go.

It Is Those Two Trucks.

They Look Really Cool.

So Actually A Thing I Saw, Is That You Can Actually Take This Off.

This Cap.

So You Can Like, Load It Up.

Now I Don't Think, It Fits. No It Doesn't Fit It.

[Sad Amateur Flute Song Plays]

[BiiiiiiB]

But It Definently Pretty Cool.

Yeah We Got Two Of Those. As You Can See.

And Then I Got A Thing That Is Not Really A Car, But.

I Just Needed A Ship (boat). So You Know.

We Got It Right Here.

Boom, Really Cool.

Now.

I Don't Know.

[Trying To Pronounce "NordSeeWelle"]

I Don't Know, It Is Probably German Or..

Yeah, I Don't Know.

[Jeopardy Music Plays]

Or, If It Is Dutch Or Something.

But.

Yeah It Is Pretty Cool.

As You Can See We Got Like.

Yeah I Don't Know What It Is Called [Nets]

And.

Yeah, It Is Actually Pretty Big, If You Think About It.

Let's Compare It To A Car. Alright? As You Can See, It Is Pretty Big.

Really, Really, Big.

So Yeah.

I Think It Is Gonna Be Placed In My City. And, Yeah.

So I Think That Is About It Guys.

Hope You Enjoyed The Video.

And, Yeah.

Make Sure To Subscribe, And Like For More Videos Like This.

If You Wan't Them.

I Don't Know But.

Yeah, Really Hope You Enjoyed It. So Yeah.

10 YouTube Beginner's Mistakes - Duration: 15:35.

Now when you're first starting out on YouTube you may think that you're doing

everything right but you actually could be making a mistake and you have no idea

that you're even making that mistake and that could be very problematic because

it could hurt your channel a lot so in this video I'm going to talk about ten

mistakes beginners make on YouTube so be sure to watch till the end to make sure

you're not making these mistakes what's going on my name is Devin Street and

today we're gonna be talking about ten mistakes youtubers make as beginners but

if you're not already subscribed go ahead and click the subscribe button

new videos every single Sunday showing you how you can grow on YouTube so as

someone who's been creating YouTube channels since 2013 or maybe even

earlier than that that's as far back as I can remember I've done a law a lot of

channels some of them are like this where I'm from a camera talking others

are just commentary channels and others I didn't use any part of me whatsoever I

didn't use my voice my face or anything like that so over time I've created all

these channels some have been very successful some have not

but along the way I've made lots of mistakes and today I'm gonna be talking

about a couple of those mistakes that you're gonna want to steer clear of when

you start your channel so you can make sure you're having the most success as

possible now one mistake I see lots of youtubers make in the beginning is

acting like YouTube owes them something and act like people owe them something

and this is a major problem you are entitled to nothing you act like you are

just gonna upload videos and get thousands and millions of views and tons

of subscribers that's not how YouTube works you have to put the work in and I

don't think people realize that they have to do this lots of people are just

saying oh I just need to upload my videos and I'm just gonna be successful

I'm gonna make tons of money and don't act like anybody on this platform owes

you anything don't act like success is supposed to come to you just because

you're on this platform for summer lots of people quit YouTube saying oh

well I didn't get very successful within three months and it's YouTube's fault

it's not YouTube's fault it's your fault because you aren't creating good value

for people and you got to realize with your content you need a purpose and you

need to create it for a reason so people will actually watch it and then you may

become successful over a long period of time it's not instant and don't act like

you should be getting millions of subscribers out of nowhere another

mistake I see people making is not editing their videos this is a horrible

horrible idea to just film and then upload because every single video needs

a little bit of editing whether that's just trimming the video or cutting it at

certain points every video needs some kind of editing to make it look better

and if you're expecting to just record straight off your phone or something and

then just upload right away that's a bad idea there's free editors online there's

free editors on your phone so you have no excuse to just film something and

then throw it up and say you didn't have a video editor or something now lots of

people are like why am I not getting more subscribers on my videos and then

I'll look at their videos and they have three views on a video and they have

three videos on their channel so a total of like nine or ten views on their

entire Channel and they're expecting to have subscribers on their channel that

doesn't make any sense whatsoever so when you create videos on YouTube it

helps you grow okay because when people watch your videos you get some

subscribers from that you can convert viewers into subscribers it's not every

single view that gets you a subscriber so the best way to get subscribers and

to get views is just making more videos this is what the algorithm wants you to

do you can't throw up a video once every month and expect to be growing because

it's just not probable on YouTube you need to be uploading at least once or

twice a week if you're tight on time if you can do more that

it's gonna be great but basically you need to upload videos and convert views

into subscribers which means you're gonna need to have things in your videos

that get people to subscribe like telling them having your in screen card

to subscribe and things like that you need that kind of stuff to get people to

subscribe to your videos and convert those views into subscribers it also has

to do with having good videos and also once again uploading constantly you need

to upload at least once a week every single week on your YouTube channel

where you're not gonna grow at all another mistake I see people making is

not understanding SEO and discovery and things like that you need to get views

like I said on your videos and some people think oh if I'm just uploading

then I'm gonna get views well how are you gonna get those views how are people

gonna find your video explain that to me and what you need to do is make sure you

have your SEO and discovery SEO is search engine optimization this is going

to get you into search you need to use good tags get descriptions good titles

and you need to do other things to get discovered through external stuff you

need to maybe share this on a blog if you have it or put it on your website

and also share it on your social media is on your Instagram on your Facebook on

your Twitter things like that and that's going to get you views a lot faster and

you're gonna start to get discovered more you're going to be pushed out more

into search and suggested videos so with that you need to focus on discovery you

can't just upload videos and views magically come to it you need to have

discovery on your videos or they're not gonna be found at all and you won't get

any views another mistake I see people making is not monetizing their content

there's people with a thousand subscribers or five thousand subscribers

who haven't even monetized their content yet and if you don't know how to do this

I have tons of videos that you can watch on this in the YouTube beginner's guide

video I made I went over a ton of ways you can make money at the very end of

that video so I suggest going and watching that video also because simply

there's so many ways to monetize channel outside of YouTube monetization

there's brand deals there's affiliate marketing and there's all kinds of

things like that and anyone can do things like affiliate marketing it's

very easy to do affiliate marketing it's very easy to create and sell your own

products it's very easy to start a patreon and affiliate marketing like you

can put a disclaimer all the way down at the end of your description on your

videos and for the most part they're just going to go along your way your

viewers they're just gonna if they're interested in a product they may buy it

and they're helping you but with like a product you sort of have to be like

creating your own thing and then saying hey please buy this it's from me and

they may not be interested but if you're selling someone else's product it may be

much easier for you to sell especially as a much smaller channel under a

hundred subscribers affiliate marketing is your best way to go to monetize your

channel and with this money you make you need to be putting it back into your

channel so you can help yourself grow even more whether that's through putting

it into advertisement putting it into better equipment or things like that a

big problem I see people making is paying too much attention to their

numbers you don't need to be looking at the views for every single video and

then freaking out because it doesn't have the views you wanted it to have and

you don't need to look at your subscribers every single day and freak

out because it doesn't have what you need to have what you need to be looking

at is your audience retention that's the only thing I would suggest looking at in

your analytics that actually matters in some way because you need to look to see

how long people are watching your videos and figure out why they're leaving all

your videos not engaging enough and you need to fix that that's the only thing

you need to look at and you can look at graphs maybe to see if you're growing a

lot more versus the previous months and what you can do about that if you need

to upload more videos if you need to make better content and basically you

don't need to look at the numbers for every single thing you don't need to

look at your subscriber number every single day and freak out because you are

not growing how you think you should be growing because guess what

whatever you think you should be growing i-it's gonna take a lot longer than you

actually expect or it may not maybe you grow faster but for the most part it's

gonna take much longer than you actually expect on the platform so just keep that

in mind and then a absolute horrible one buying views and subscribers or doing

sub4sub and things like that that's going to

kill your channel it's absolutely horrible

and I have a YouTube card right up here that you can watch that's going to go

over YouTube mistakes that you shouldn't make and it's got a couple of videos in

it about why you shouldn't buy views why you shouldn't buy subscribers why you

shouldn't do sub4sub because it hurts your channel it can

hurt your channel extremely bad and it could actually end up keeping you from

having success on YouTube is doing sub4sub and things like this and it can

have your channel even taken down so when I see some channels I'll click on

it and they'll have like zero views on 8 or 9 of their newest videos and then

they'll have like 800 subscribers if you have 800 subscribers you need to have at

least a few people watching your videos if there's nobody watching then I

clearly see you got those from sub4sub and you're just hurting your channel

because YouTube's seeing that oh this person can't even get their subs to

watch their videos and their videos must be very very bad and then they'll

actually even start unsub includes and you're just in this downward downward

spiral of just horrible horrible things of your channel just completely dying

basically because you did suffer sub or buy views or buy subscribers or

something like that next up another mistake is quitting too early or

expecting too much this is a major problem I see with lots of youtubers is

that they just quit too early they'll start like six months in and they'll be

like I'm not at my subscribers yeah I'm gonna quit and every single YouTube

channel it can take a very long time to grow I've seen channels that have

millions and millions of subscribers and it took them like five years to get

their first thousand so it just takes time it takes time improving your

content having this big backlog of videos and all that it you can't just

quit after you're uploading ten videos so it just takes lots and lots of time

and look at this channel I'm around almost a thousand subscribers and I've

been on for over a year so it took me around over a year just to get to that

thousand and then it's who knows how long it would take to get to five

thousand and then ten thousand but I'm improving over time go back and watch my

first ever video it's absolutely horrible compared to this because I

don't even think I was editing at the time I think I was just recording and if

I even messed up once in saying something I had to restart the video and

rerecord everything cuz I wasn't even editing I was just uploading straight

what I had recorded and over time I've improved that I've improved the

background I've improved the audio I've improved the effects everything like

that and I'm gonna continue to improve if this video is three years old go to

one of my recent videos and look how much better is now than it was at this

point oh that sounded weird ooh time travel speaking to people in 2021

that's a weird and my ninth mistake you can make is you're making bad videos and

this is something I'm starting to see more people talk about with growing a

YouTube channel and it's something that definitely needs to be talked about is

that you just make bad videos your videos aren't good and that's basically

yet you you may like your videos but you need to find someone that's gonna be

very honest with you and make them look at your videos and then let them think

is this a good video or a bad video you do not need to have a personal opinion

on whether your videos are good or not because personally if you are just

focused on European only you could be making the absolute

worst videos ever and you have no idea that you're even doing that so just take

some time and think am I making a good video ask a lot of people to see if

they're making a good video and also your analytics should show if you're

making a good video by your audience retention so just don't make bad videos

and you'll get better over time but just talk to people and ask them how you

think you could improve your videos and finally the worst mistake you could be

making is not doing what you love on YouTube YouTube supposed to be this

passion project for you where you can do what you love and then make money and be

successful with that and the problem is lots of people just

see YouTube as this.cache crap to where oh I'm just gonna make a youtube channel

about something that's very popular right now and then expect success and

who knows you may get success you may not get success but basically you're

doing something that you don't like and you should never in your life no matter

it's YouTube or job or anything do what you hate because you're gonna be

miserable and it's gonna even make you want to quit more from YouTube because

you absolutely hate it and you can't even stand to create videos so it's

gonna hurt your channel do something you're passionate about because if

you're doing something you hate then you're most likely not gonna succeed

shout out to Don B who commented saying that he wanted to tell me that I made a

great video and that he's actually from the tube ritual group if you're not in

this Facebook group I highly suggest it it's great for youtubers and everyone

talking with each other on how to grow highly suggest that that's on Facebook

and if you want to be shouted out in a video all you have to do is subscribe

and comment about what you liked about the video and I'll shout you out in the

video just keep in mind that commenting multiple times telling me you subbed

will eliminate you from being shouted out but if you want to grow your YouTube

channel then go ahead and click the subscribe button and if you enjoy this

video go ahead and check out another one I want to thank you for watching till

the end see you in the next video
