Waching daily Jul 24 2018

So, I'm just discovering a completely new area here.

It's absolutely gorgeous!

And kind of muddy and slippery.

But, so amazing!

It's like a tiny beach, but also not.

All kinds of plants and birds.

And I'll probably fall down, but eh...

Who cares?!

Also...

This is very convenient.

It's like at the height of my belly.

So yeah.

There we go.

You hold it.

And watch me fail.

Help!

Made it!

That was fun.

Suncare 101 with Coola Founder + Huge Giveaway | This Week in Beauty 7/24 - Duration: 10:09.

- Hey guys, I'm Roxette Arisa

and you are watching This Week in Beauty with ipsy.

So today, we have a very special guest,

the founder of Coola, Chris Birchby.

Thank you so much for joining us, Chris.

- Thank you for having me.

It's awesome to be here.

- Yeah, so we're so excited to learn

a little bit more about sun care.

First off, what inspired you to start a sun care line?

- It's something that I came into totally naive.

I mean, I have no background.

I didn't have a background in chemistry or skincare.

It really started with a personal story.

So both of my parents had had melanoma within

about a year or two of each other.

Fortunately they made complete recoveries,

but it really caused me to reassess a lot

of my bad sun habits growing up.

I grew up at the beach.

I have three younger brothers.

Our family sunscreen drawer was like two, four, and six.

At the time, everyone thought that was what you needed

for sunscreen lotion.

Looking back, it wasn't enough protection.

One bad sunburn under the age of 18 can double

your chance of melanoma later in life.

And I started looking for organic sunscreen

and I couldn't find one.

That kinda started the journey.

It was a several years process of talking

to a lot of the best formulators and chemists,

and fortunately around L.A., there's a lot of laboratories.

So it was a real learning experience.

It wasn't without a bunch of hurdles

in the beginning though.

The first lab that I worked with

made me this beautiful formula.

It was like so lightweight,

just went on your skin like this beautiful lotion.

And I got these beautiful tubes,

I was really into the whole art behind it all.

We put it in the tube and I went

and did SPF validation testing

which as an over-the-counter drug you have to do

and it came back like SPF zero.

It was supposed to be SPF 30

and they had left out all the SPF actives

because they thought they were

just never gonna see me again.

You know, next lab, this time I did the testing first

before I put it in the tube.

It tested out as a wonderful formula.

Put it in a tube and I went and I pulled it out of the box

and all the silkscreen just came right off.

It was just on there by static electricity.

I started this journey in 2004.

It took me three years to get to market.

I was creating these beautiful delicate formulas

that were organic and I had this great consultant

who I was working with who said,

"You know, Chris, I think there's a real opportunity

"for a brand like yours in each brand

"in resorts and spas."

It was some of the best advice I ever got.

So I kind of pivoted towards resorts and spas,

created a six SKU line, Face, Body, and Sport,

a scented and unscented version of each.

I was ready to go to market and I got a phone call

at like five in the morning.

Warehouse fire, the warehouse burned down.

(Roxette gasps)

I drove over there and there were no rafters, nothing,

the entire building was done.

It was just charcoal and little blue blobs

all over the place.

- Oh my gosh. Well, this is quite a story.

- The formulas were organic.

They were wonderful.

The one silver lining was we had been using parabens

as preservatives.

They had just been demonized, starting to,

right around that time and so what we did was,

we had another opportunity to reformulate

a better formulate without the parabens.

So we got to market with a very strong story

with organic formulas that didn't have

this kind of anchor that would have impeded

some of our growth, our future growth,

that really shaped the brand into what it is today

and gave us an opportunity to really fine-tune

and cut our teeth over all those years

so we can be where we are now.

- You spoke a little bit about making sure

that your products were parabens-free.

What are the specific products, I guess,

that you leave out, phthalates, parabens?

- It's always just a constant evolution

because ingredients are always changing

so there's always newer, better ingredients coming out.

So we're always reformulating our formulas

every year or two.

We try to have as many plant-based ingredients

to boost the formulas naturally.

We try to formulate as organic as possible

so that's at least 70% of the overall formula

being organic.

The active ingredients themselves,

they can never be organic.

So it's either a chemical active or a mineral active

and we have two distinct collections that we do,

our classic and our mineral collections.

So the base formula itself can be up to 97, 98% organic.

We want to have a friendly,

environmentally friendly sunscreen.

We look at the entire process

of what goes in through our ingredients.

So that's from the sourcing of it at the farm

all the way to the finished product.

- What else is next for Coola?

- Well, we're really excited with a lot of our launches

for this coming year.

We have a big focus on some of our mineral formulas,

as well as some beauty formulas.

With Coola, you might see upwards

of eight or nine new products on the market next year.

- So I think it's time to do a little product walk-through.

Do you want to walk us through the products

you brought to us today?

- Awesome. (loud swoosh)

- Alright, so there is a big range of products.

And this is like your beauty line, more so, right?

- Yes.

- So this is all the beauty stuff. What do we have first?

The Sun Silk Drops.

- So these are really innovative.

It's UVA and UVB protection,

which is your typical sun care protection.

Also HEV and IR, which is high energy visible light

and infrared radiation, which covers blue light

from both cell phones and computers,

which, it's amazing, penetrate deeper in the dermal layer

than UVA and UVB.

This is a formula that protects both indoors and outdoors

and as we love to say, it protects you

from the beach to the boardroom.

It's like the best feeling sunscreen ever.

- Really?

I need to feel it.

- So it is so lightweight.

You can go a couple drops.

Really, we recommend you use

enough drops for full protection.

- Oh my God, it really is lightweight.

- You can blend it with other formulas too.

Now you will lose some of the SPF value

if you do blend it.

We just wanted to make something that feels like

you're not even wearing sunscreen.

- So the next one is your Scalp and Hair Mist.

- So the Scalp and Hair Mist, this is for men and women,

dudes and girls.

You know, there's guys who have little spots

on the top of their head that they want to protect

and these are precious follicles that you don't want

to stress out or do any damage.

Yes, parts, anything like that,

and also even color-treated hair.

This is an organic formula.

It's a super fine mist

and you can also target it with the nozzle,

so you can get right down in where the part

or just on the scalp for application.

It can protect anywhere, head to toe,

this is a sunscreen, SPF 30 sunscreen,

and it has a natural and organic ocean salted sage scent.

- I was just gonna say it smells so good.

It smells like the beach.

- Yeah, we just wanted to create something

that is so easy to wear, that's not a problem

to bring into your regular beauty routine.

So we add--

- Yeah, I was just going to say,

speaking of putting into your regular beauty routine,

the BB creams are probably perfect, BB plus creams.

- Because they're so lightweight.

- So this is a mineral sunscreen, so physical protection.

It will actually reflect the sun's rays,

versus a chemical sunscreen which absorbs

and breaks down the sun's rays.

We have three different tones.

We wanted to make them very universal.

They're so lightweight that they really blend

into almost all skin tones and just give

really a golden glow.

- I feel like this would be perfect for people

who want just a no-makeup makeup look,

just to have a little bit of tint to the skin,

nothing crazy obviously,

but you're getting your sun protection in.

And it has a very moisturizing formula.

The next one is the Makeup Setting Spray,

which is so cool, right?

This is like for when you're on the go,

you can spray it over top of your makeup

and it has your SPF in it, SPF 30.

- SPF 30 and it also has some hyaluronic acid,

so it brings moisture into the skin.

- Hydration.

- So it's really a matte-ifying formula

that also brings moisture in.

So we have a really fine mister here

that you can just spray on.

Close your eyes, get a couple spritzes throughout the day.

You let it set for a second

and again, it's organic, really, really clean scent,

super fresh, and for me, it smells like fresh laundry.

- It does smell very fresh.

- It really just solves that problem.

How do you apply sunscreen on the go over makeup?

And so this, for us, was a big hit.

It started our beauty collection.

- Wow.

So that's what you can wear over top of your makeup,

but on the other end of the spectrum,

they also have some primers. - Primers.

- Classic and mineral, right?

- Yes, so we have the two different types of primers.

Again, depending on if you want mineral protection

or we call it classic, chemical actives.

Again, we try to use fewer traditional actives

and really boost your plant protection

for all of our formulas.

They both have, again, very breathable,

lightweight, silky formulas.

Again, that's the mineral, and you can see

that it goes in without any white cast in the skin,

which is again most important for people

wanting to wear it every day. - Yeah.

So there's a mineral primer, a classic primer,

and then also some lip products.

- [Chris] So these--

- Also with SPF (giggles).

- So lip products for us, it's something

that a lot of people forget their lips,

but skin cancer is actually very prevalent

on and around the lip area.

This is a 70% organic formula.

It has mineral actives, so you're not putting

the chemical actives that close to your mouth.

The color and the flavor, so they're each unique scents

and colors, are both natural.

That actually is how we limited our palette

is to whatever colors are naturally occurring.

But you can still get some pretty dark color

through the natural formulas.

And for us, this was another really innovative,

first to the market product coming out

with this organic color and sunscreen,

flavored sunscreen that offers broad spectrum protection.

- And they're such pretty colors too.

I feel like it can range from the everyday natural,

you don't wanna look like you're wearing much

to like I want a real pop of color here.

(loud swoosh) Today we're going to be giving away

some of these amazing products that we just talked about,

so all you have to do to enter to win is comment

down below, tagging a friend, and reminding them

to wear their sun care every day,

whether they're indoors or outdoors, as we learned today.

So thank you so much for joining us, Chris.

- Thanks, it was a pleasure being here.

- So nice.

Okay, guys, thanks so much for watching

This Week in Beauty with ipsy.

(bouncy music)

from the starting point. It's offering plenty of possibilities

so you can get an idea

they may write social media posts, website articles, and even email messages.

For you to become a copywriter,

you don't need a formal education,

which makes it pretty easy to adopt to this industry,

even for those who have no experience in creation of content.

You will not need a pricy office space,

as most copywriters work from home on a freelance basis

so their expenses are pretty low to start.

Do you like helping others to manage tasks they don't enjoy

or simply don't have time to complete?

Then providing cleaning services may be just for you.

With average hourly rates of $17 to $30,

you may bring in substantial revenue for simple,

but so necessary services.

You also don't need to have an education,

experience or a physical office

office and you can set your working hours around your schedule

as it suits you the best.

If talking about expenses on cleaning supplies and equipment -

it can be billed back to the client.

3. In-home caregiver services

Home caregivers assist seniors in their homes,

they help with bathing and dressing, light housework,

some cooking and transportation needs to doctors, stores.

The qualifications at this time are relatively simple.

You have to be able to take care of someone else.

In some areas of the country, you may also need

to take a licensing test.

Typical fees that are charged to clients are between $15-25 per hour

hour based on geographic location and the references that can be given.

Typical fees schedules for a startup business are approximately $15 per hour,

which after a year can be increased to the $20 per hour.

The startup costs are pretty low,

and may be limited to the cost of business forms

and documents such as business cards and work invoices.

4. Accounting Services

Accounting services are highly in demand,

supporting nearly every kind of individual and company.

These services may include personal financial planning,

bookkeeping and tax preparation.

The startup

costs are not very high and may include office space,

software,

minimal number of workers

and electronics.

Successful accountants in every service area

often have a high level of education,

at minimum an undergraduate degree.

Professionals who have a CPA license

may demand higher rates and generate more income.

The average net profit for accounting services is around 18 percent

and constant need in accounting services shows it

as a positive industry for business growth.

5. Educational services

Considered an essential part of self-improvement

as well as a legal requirement early in life,

the education industry commands billions of dollars

on an annual basis.

Professionals can operate in such areas like:

Testing centers, Schools,

Preschools and daycares

Test prep services

College prep programs

The industry's average net profit is about 10 percent

and the startup costs are pretty low,

considering that tutoring and test prep companies,

do not necessarily need to have a physical location or substantial assets.

While finding educators with teaching licenses

and a college education can be a challenge,

tutors and test prep employees

are often college students or recent graduates,

hiring them may provide you an opportunity to lower your costs.

DaddyOFive Channel REMOVED By YouTube - Duration: 3:13.

YouTube has finally terminated the YouTube channel DaddyoFive almost a year after the

scandal broke.

I'm going to give you an update here for you on IO.

Welcome back to Inform overload where we tell you about everything going on on the internet.

I'm charlotte dobre.

Its been almost an entire year since the daddyofive scandal shook the YouTube world.

For those who are unfamiliar with what happened, here's the deal.

Daddyofive was supposed to be a family friendly channel, run by Mike and Heather Martin.

The videos they would post included what they call 'pranks' on their 5 children, and

some of them were.

There were a lot of fans of this channel, they had close to a million subscribers.

But many of the pranks took the joke way too far and were borderline abusive.

In one instance, mike martin can be seen telling his son to slap their daughter in the face.

Other videos showed their children getting visibly upset and emotionally distraught.

But relax, its just a prank bro.

According to YouTube, Daddyofive's channel had several community guidelines strikes in

relation to child endangerment up until that point.

Eventually the channel caught the attention of the police, who took away the kids and

placed them in emergency custody.

Experts found that the two youngest children, Cody, age 10 at the time, and Emma age 11

had suffered quote 'mental injury' from the pranks.

Mike and Heather martin were charged with child neglect in august of 2017.

This scandal made YouTube tighten up their rules when it comes to children, and they

will often demonetize or flag videos that endanger children or show them in a negative

light.

And rightfully so.

A YouTube spokesperson told an American news channel that content that endangers children

is unacceptable to us.

They have been working extensively alongside experts in child safety to make sure they

have strict policies, and they are aggressively enforcing them.

YouTube also said that they have deleted all daddy of 5 and family of 5 channels.

The questionable parents also came forward to make a public statement updating everyone,

saying that after the last 18 months, their family has worked hard to heal.

They say they are doing well and they are happy, and they do plan to continue posting

YouTube videos, but within the strict boundaries they have set for themselves.

Or should I say, YouTube has set for them.

They had no further comment at this time.

On a different channel family of 5, they continued to post seemingly horrendous pranks featuring

the remaining 3 children.

But in an interesting plot twist, The 3 boys posted a video on a fan's account, defending

the channel saying that everything they did was not real and calling out the haters, saying

that everyone ruined their lives and they didn't help anyone by splitting up their

family.

This leaves many of us wondering if YouTube and the public made a mistake.

Should they be allowed to post content on YouTube after everything that's happened,

or if the YouTube community will welcome them back with open arms.

Do you forgive daddy of 5?

Let us know in those comments.

For now, Michael and heather are still on probation, and are not allowed to contact

Cody and Emma.

Patricks Parodies – Charlotte is totally a hufflepuff.

Actually I'm not.

When Rebecca and I sorted me, I found out I'm a slytherin just like her.

Rotepter – Did you know you're a human being?

No I didn't, I thought I was a potato.

That's all for this video and thanks for watching IO, if you wanna keep watching, check

out this playlist.

Both me and Io are on social media, scroll down to the description for all our links.

And obviously if you enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button, subscribe and notification

bell.

That's it for me, and I'll see you in another video.

Honest Scripted Graduation Speech on Election Day Board of Education Experiment! - Duration: 6:45.

hi everyone hi YouTube okay today I'm doing my my honest scripted graduation

speech on election day so put it on the shovel paper in this notebook okay so

I'm going to read I wrote I wrote not too long ago I have two pages two yellow

pages here my honest scripted speech on election day graduation day today I went

to vote I have graduated from the fifth amendment of staying silent to the First

Amendment using my freedom of speech the narcissist generation or narcissist

group does not like people like me who are slowly waking up or quickly waking

up and exercising our First Amendment I went to vote and if I would have

selected nonpartisan I still would have had zero know candidates from either

party I live in a state of Georgia it actually has me wondering how well

voting in Georgia is representing We the People that's you and me everybody the

politicians have done the redistricting to get more votes for their party with

all this bizarre developing we have going on it has me wondering if

investing is taking place in locations which have been lumped in with

redistricting will towns with 50 people in the middle of Georgia be getting a

12-story hotel so I am out side in public speaking which I'm an outside in

public with you guys right now speaking which I have done a lot of public

speaking creating an intellectual property since the day I was born

February 7th 1963 as a baby creating intellectual property of

pooping and crying communicating a need hopefully to someone who cares which

would be a parent unfortunately a narcissist crowd exists

narcissist used conditional emotional love to get what they want and the stop

the dialog and communicating tell a narcissist no and watch them explode

love is not conditional narcissists tell you what they want while completely

dismissing your needs the USA is functioning on a narcissist government

founded in 1900 to general education board of oppression that's what I put

the general Board of oppression young and old will be taught in practicable

ways how to make real life more beautiful fruitful recreate of healthful

and joyous Wikipedia general education board the board of oppression okay I'm

turning my page to the second page here and then I put yellow page general board

of oppression July 24 2018 board of oppression hookworms because hookworms

was mentioned in there about well it was related to the Radek ating hookworms

from the fields but then it said the money was supposed to be used for

education but then they redirected it to

farming somehow to now it says the Board of Education to support higher education

and medical schools help rural white and black schools in the South the board

created by john d rockefeller and Frederick T Gates

five point five million in grants were made by 1934 spending most of its money

by 1950 the board closed in 64 however how might the Board of Education

contribute to inequality in 2018 based on the philanthropy and monetary

infusion the money doesn't have to last to have made a systemic impact the board

was chartered by the United States Congress

how come a media company is broadcasting out of a building named Rockefeller in

New York City how come it's so expensive to get a book on traditional media

company yet same traditional media company and newspaper will exploit and

liberate private citizens personal information for their content creation

law and policy enforcement and birth records are common sexual offender lists

felon lists websites any law and policy violations are exploited even

including work background checks yet those expectations private information

are the ones fear-mongering telling people the Internet is bad when

traditional media has been profiting on private information forever philosophy

in our dreams we have limitless resources the people yield themselves

with perfect de sylheti to our molding hands the present conventions fade

themselves their minds and unhampered by tradition we work our own goodwill and a

grateful and responsible for rural folks that's what it is responsive and

grateful rural folks we shall not make these people or any of their children

into philosophers or men of learning or men of science when women are not

mentioned in here they're not mentioned at all we have not to raise up from them

among them authors editors poets or men of letters

we shall not search for embryo great artists painters musicians nor lawyers

doctors preachers politicians statements of whom we have ample supply trained

imperfect people where they are and keep them docile and stupid that was the

foundation of the board of oppression I'm gonna call it the board of

oppression because that's what it is it's not the Board of Education it's the

board of a pressure and it still exists today and so yeah that's it that's my

two cents there yeah background checks is the one I forgot to put in here so I

need to remember to put that in there the back work background checks violate

the Constitution a lot of stuff today violates the Constitution because we

can't get digital properties onto school board property

which the taxpayers pay for and so it's currently being censored so yeah okay
