How Beliefs Shape Reality (3 SIMPLE TIPS TO CHANGE HOW YOU THINK | CHANGE YOUR LIFE) - Duration: 6:33.

Jen Omohundro: Want to know how your beliefs shape reality and learn three tips to change

how you think and change your life?

Watch this video, and I'll share with you just how I've done that for myself and how

you can, too.

I'm Jen Omohundro, from twominuteswithjen.com.

I post weekly with tips and strategies to help you go from the "no, I can't" to

the "no one can stop me" mindset.

Be sure to subscribe to my channel and hit the bell to be notified when I post a new

video every Tuesday.

If you're feeling stuck, frustrated with life, or simply not fully in love with where and

who you are in life right now, I'm going to share with you three super simple tips that

you can start right now to begin to turn everything around.

I've used this for myself, as well as have many, many other super successful people,

and now it's your turn.

Jen Omohundro: Okay, so before we dive into this, I want to be completely transparent

with you.

In the past, I used to be one of those people, who would think the tips like I'm about to

share with you were a bunch of BS.

To me it was just like, okay, that's not logical.

That's not the way that life is.

Reality is ... Reality is not everything that we think and we see, and we are actually able

to change our beliefs and change our life.

Jen Omohundro: If you're one of those people, who is like the old Jen, I totally get it.

You're in good company.

Stick with me.

Hear me out.

Try these super simple tips, and I think you'll be pleasantly, pleasantly surprised, as well.

Jen Omohundro: Tip number one is to show gratitude daily.

Yes, it is that simple to start.

Show gratitude daily to start to change your beliefs, how you feel and how you think, and

change your life.

What happens here is you're using the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction is basically what you put out, you're going to get back.

I like to start my morning every morning with writing in a gratitude journal.

Mine is nothing fancy.

It's a simple little journal.

I just fill it generally with the same core things initially, which is I'm most grateful

for my family, our health, our home, that sort of thing.

Jen Omohundro: The rest, for me ... Because I do it in the morning, I usually like to

reference what I'm grateful for the day before.

You can do this at any time of day.

The point is to do it, to get in the habit of appreciating all the things that are around

you, that you do have now, that you love.

Comment below, and let me know.

Do you have a gratitude journal that you're already using?

If so, do you have a particular one that I should give a shot.

Again, mine's just basic and simple.

I'd love to hear it.

Jen Omohundro: Tip number two is to give love.

I'm not just talking about the way that you love a partner, but love in general.

When we give positive energy, we are giving love.

When we give negative energy, it's simply a lack of love.

There's not any in between, whether we go through stages of the amount of love that

we are giving.

Think about it this way.

In tip number one, when you're showing gratitude, that is an expression of love.

That is how you are evoking the Law of Attraction, because the Law of Attraction actually is

a law of love.

That's all we're talking about, so the thoughts, the feelings, and the energy that we are giving

out, and what we are attracting back to us.

Jen Omohundro: Be very aware, and give love to everything that you love around you.

Now, I'm not talking about you have to go nuts and talk to the trees and hug the trees

and do all that mess, but be aware of it.

Be thankful for it.

Love it.

When you're going out to dinner with a friend, be in the moment.

Love that moment.

Love that food.

Think about it.

Jen Omohundro: If you're surrounded by things that you don't love, simply do your best to

give them no thought.

We don't want to be putting out the negative energy with giving a lack of love, okay?

We want to work on putting out the positive energy by giving love, and then watch all

these amazing feelings and things come right back to you.

Jen Omohundro: Tip number three is to use your imagination.

I know you're probably thinking I'm totally strange right now, not normal at all, and

you know what I say?

Thank you.

I don't want to be normal.

I don't want to have a normal life.

I want to have a fabulous life.

You are going to thank me, too, when you start really implementing these three simple tips.

Jen Omohundro: What do I mean by imagination?

What do you want most in life?

Is it to travel?

Is it a dream job that feels completely out of touch right now?

Is it to own a house on the beach, where you can sit with your bum in the sand, sipping

on coconut drinks all day?

Ah, that one does sound pretty nice.

Jen Omohundro: Well, imagine it, and you can have it.

Here's the thing.

The Law of Attraction does not know the difference between real and imagination.

What it reacts to is our feelings and our thoughts.

Imagine yourself as the person that you want to be, as though you are that person right

now.

Do this fun little game at least twice per day, for five minutes each time.

That's going to give you enough time to really evoke those amazing, powerful feelings that

will put the Law of Attraction into order for you.

I want you to play and pretend as though you have it now.

Jen Omohundro: If you had that dream job, for instance, how would you feel?

How would you dress?

Dress like you have it.

You would probably stand a little bit taller, shoulders back a little bit more.

Definitely you would be more confident.

Jen Omohundro: Why is using your imagination so important?

Well, two reasons: One, because those positive thoughts and feelings are putting that energy

out there that, like we've discussed, is going to bring that positive energy right back to

you, and, number two, because truly if you can imagine it and you can believe it, you

can have it.

Now you know the three simple tips that you can start right now to begin changing your

life through awareness of your beliefs and how you feel and how you think.

Jen Omohundro: What happens when life happens, when negativity comes around or you get a

Negative Nancy trying to bring you down?

random noises that may happen throughout this video include my air conditioning going off

and my neighbor doing something that I'm currently

procrastinating doing which is mowing the yard because he has started and stopped like five times

hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G and welcome to another word vomit video,

which is where I just talk about random shit

I hate summer

okay, and I know I say that I hate seasons like I hate winter and I hate summer

honestly, can we have fall like all the time because fall is like nice weather and you don't have to do as much yard work

I mean you kind of do but you kind of don't if you don't have trees and there's pumpkin everywhere

it's just better, it's just too hot right now, okay, and it's not that I actually hate summer so much

I just hate heat and humidity and I really hate mowing the yard

today I spent several hours, filled two

giant garbage cans filled with weeds because I was that lazy that I put it off for that long

but the gardens look a lot better

I just, I just didn't mow

I downloaded an app on my phone called something like six pack in 30 days something like that

I'm more than halfway through and guess what?

I, I don't have a six pack yet (laughing)

I don't think it works

the one thing it has very much succeeded in doing is giving me a bruise on my back because I keep

being too lazy to pull out my mat and I just do it on the hardwood floor and uh, that hurts

one good thing about being a crafty person is when people have like birthdays and anniversaries and

celebrations and other stuff you can make them their gift and it actually comes out kind of decent but one bad thing about being

a crafty person is when you make the gifts

sometimes they take a really long time and you're kind of held to a good standard and you want it to be like perfect and

oh my god, I have a lot of work to do

if you follow me on Instagram

you'll probably already know this but I've been doing a bunch of those

wine and paint nights and this is my most recent one

so just just ignore the

terribleness that happened kind of over here and if you just

just look at, look at the rest of it and ignore this

it's actually pretty good

don't look at that, there ehh, better

better

(belch)

(cough)

I don't know where that came from, but I had to burp and cough at the same time

thankfully my body separated those into two events

I need to go out and buy turpentine cause my brother got me

a really awesome set of paints and like the Bob Ross like how to paint

thing

for my birthday, but I need turpentine cause it's oil-based paints

I normally don't get into politics or anything like that at all,

but does anyone else think that Alex Jones is pretty much anxiety personified?

I'm actually starting to get

legitimately nervous about the Tough Mudder, and I've talked to people that have done them and

I've been on the subreddit and stuff

and basically I've learned that the vast majority of it is mental

so I think I should be okay

and you like run for like a mile and then do something and there's like a

break each time

so there's constant breaks where you're like waiting for people

and if you fail on an obstacle you fail on an obstacle, okay fine

but I'm just like, am I training enough?

am I strong enough to do this is my knee going to die

my goal is just to finish, at one point

my goal was to finish in better than the average time

but at this point I've broken so much of myself

my goal is to make it through

I think someone is setting off fireworks again

people just get too damned excited about the fourth like I get it

okay, I get fourth of July, I get Independence Day, okay fine

I don't hel- I don't really know exactly how that turned into like let's light things on fire and watch them explode

but, bu- bu-

okay, fine put that aside and they're illegal in the vast majority of places for you to be doing on your own

but fine, whatever

whatever put that aside

do it only on the fourth, okay?

not the third, not the fifth, not the twentieth

we're done, we're done I don't care how many you bought

I don't care if you overbought

well, maybe you shouldn't have fucking bought that many, it's your own damn fault

shut up

and, uh, just just, on the fourth, fine

but everything is done by like 9 or 10 p.m

because people have to work on the fifth

I know that's a very controversial thing to say, but holy crap

shut up and stop doing them

and also don't hold on to them once you've lit them

that's stupid, unless it's a sparkler, that's stupid

and don't aim em at other people's houses

and for the love of god, think of the puppies!

they're all so scared!

What Does It Mean To Be Indigenous And From A U.S. Colony? | AJ+ - Duration: 4:50.

After traveling to Guam for this series,

I've learned a lot about the indigenous Chamorro people who live there.

But I still have one more question …

"It's honor."

"Respetu."

"Food and family is the #1 priority."

"The homeland."

"Honoring my ancestors."

"Being Chamorro is everything."

"Which is the Chamorro word for dream."

"Every time someone asks me, like, what am I?

I say Chamorro.

I like saying that, because

most of the time they don't even know what Chamorro is.

And so that's like a good conversation starter.

Like, 'Hey, I'm from a little island on Guam.'

'Oh, what's Guam?'

'It's a United States territory.'"

"Most people in the United States

have no idea what Guam is.

You say, 'I'm from Guam,' and people say,

'Wow, you don't look African,'

or people say,

'Oh, Guam,

that's right next to Honduras,

I went there once on a mission trip or something like that.'"

"Being a territory for people on Guam

is very complicated,

especially for Chamorros.

I mean, you know, there's just kind of a

love–hate relationship with the U.S. for many of us."

"I don't identify as American.

I wasn't raised to. My parents

always made it very clear to me

that this is not America. This is Guam."

"Although I am a U.S. citizen by birth,

I always identify myself first as a Chamorro.

I'm a born, raised Chamorro."

"For me, you know, Chamorro is what I am."

"So basically if you're from Guam, you're technically Guamanian.

But I know people who say they're born here but they

don't want to be called 'Guamanian.'

They want to be American, because that's their culture."

"Technically I'm living in America,

but the world that I grew up in

is the Chamorro world."

"I identify as Chamorro,

because even though I speak English and that is my primary language,

I am Chamorro from my blood to my soul."

"I think there's a colonized mentality that,

you know, 'We will die if the U.S. leaves Guam.'

For hundreds of years of constantly being told,

like, 'You cannot take care of yourselves.

You are not smart enough. You don't have enough resources.

You need us. Without us, you will starve.'"

"The name that Chamorros always used to fear when they spoke out is 'anti-America,'

because America for so long represented these great ideals of

freedom and democracy."

"Growing up as a child, learning U.S. history and all of this,

you know, Guam's not in there,

you know. We had these little puzzles with the maps of the U.S.

and there's no Guam in there."

"Being a Chamorro woman, being a young Chamorro woman,

we're told all the time that you need to be good at school,

good at English.

I even tried to hide an accent when I was younger,

and now I don't have one because I went out of my way to not sound 'chåd,'

which is like a derogatory term

for a native Chamorro person."

"I think people on Guam grow up in this kind of –

these mixed messages.

It can create some identity

issues for people."

"Am I an American or am I Chamorro?"

"As a U.S. citizen,

I should be able to express my liberties and my constitutional rights."

"My grandfather was born in 1920,

my grandmother in 1922.

They grew up in a Guam which was segregated,

where they couldn't go to the movie theater on certain days

because that was when whites went to the movie theater.

There was restaurants that only whites could go to."

"There were also a lot of racist ideas going on.

I mean, the documents just flat-out saying,

'By speaking English, you will learn honesty and morality.'

You could be punished at schools for speaking Chamorro.

So schools, hospitals,

anything run by the government

were English-only zones."

"I remember the first time

I saw someone who I knew was not Chamorro laugh,

and I freaked out because I thought laughing

was part of our language only,

you know.

The first time I ever saw someone else laugh, I was like, 'Whoa, dude, you speak Chamorro?'

And my dad was like, 'No, son, he's just laughing.

Everyone laughs.'"

"It's important to me now, because growing up,

it wasn't important.

It wasn't important to speak Chamorro,

even though that was all my grandmother spoke.

It wasn't important for me to learn

how to communicate with her,

and there's a lot of regret that I carry because I

wasn't able to communicate with her."

"I don't know

what the value is in pledging yourself to your colonizer.

If everybody here decided to get an American flag

tattoo on your a**,

it wouldn't have an impact on if Guam gets more funding."

"It's our reclaiming of our identity

and our celebration of who we are."

"How many Chamorros have to die in Iraq, Afghanistan,

Vietnam and World War II?

How many American flag stickers do you have to put on your cars?

How many do you have to fly in front of your houses?

No matter what America promises us,

they're always going to treat us like we're different

and we're less than they are."

"Hey, guys. I'm Marisa, and I animated this series.

I love being Chamorro, and it's definitely part of my identity that I embrace.

Don't forget to watch the rest of this series, and please share with your friends

and don't forget to subscribe to Untold America."

Hot Dogs You Should And Shouldn't Buy - Duration: 5:02.

Who could ever turn down a classic hot dog?

At best, they're a staple of long, lazy summer days and at worst, they're suspicious tubes

of mystery meat in a casing you probably don't want to ask too many questions about.

"You know what they make those things out of, right Chet? You know?

Lips and A-------!"

Mystery meat aside, there are definitely some hot dogs that'll be a hit when they come off

any grill, and some you should probably avoid.

Let's talk hot dogs, and the ones you should and shouldn't pick up this summer.

"Bonzi!"

Should: Sabrett

Gluten-free hot dogs might seem like a bit of an odd thing to talk about, but for those

diagnosed with celiac disease, it's a huge deal.

When VeryWell Fit put gluten-free hot dogs under the spotlight, they found that they're

not all created equal.

According to the FDA, hot dogs can be labeled gluten-free if their gluten content is less

than 20 parts per million.

And that brings us to Sabrett.

They're one of the few hot dog manufacturers that have a gluten-free certification from

the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, and they go beyond what the FDA requires.

So if you're looking for something you can serve safely, Sabrett is it.

Should: Applegate Farms

In 2015, the World Health Organization's declared that processed meats were classified as a

group one carcinogen.

The official ruling is that problem meats are generally those that have been salted

and cured like most hot dogs and that's where Applegate Farms hot dogs come in.

Fox News named them as the best all-beef hot dogs you can buy, for a few reasons.

They're uncured, which means they don't have the things that are usually added to cured

meats to help with the preservation process.

They're also fairly low in sodium.

Well, for hot dogs at least.

They also go above and beyond industry when it comes to animal welfare, claiming that

they use only animals raised with no antibiotics, no crates, and plenty of space.

"That's me.

All natural."

Should: Boar's Head Lite

Obviously, hot dogs aren't a health food, but you should be able to eat a couple without

ruining your day or your diet, right?

One of the healthiest options is Boar's Head Lite Beef Frankfurters, a 90-calorie dog that

only contains 6 grams of fat.

That might not sound horribly healthy, but it's one of the best options you're going

to get for a stick of meat.

There's another bonus to these, too.

If the idea of that mechanically-separated meat makes you squirm a bit, Insider reports

that Boar's Head only uses whole-muscle meats.

That should make almost anyone feel better about serving up a platter of hot dogs.

Should: Trader Joe's Uncured Chicken Dogs

There's another super-healthy option buried among the many different kinds of hot dogs,

and it's made by Trader Joe's.

Their All Natural Uncured Chicken Hot Dogs were named the best chicken dog by Health,

and it's no wonder: They only contain 60 calories, 250 mg of sodium, and 2.5 grams of fat.

That's about as good as you're going to get with a hot dog.

Shouldn't: Ball Park

It's alright if you grew up on Ball Park franks.

They're a popular brand.

But you're an adult now and you know better, so let's look at just how bad these are for

you.

Berkeley Wellness listed them as one of the hot dogs you should definitely pass on, because

they're filled with fat and sodium.

That's just for the standard, regular-size dogs, so you can just imagine what you're

getting in the jumbo dogs.

Even their Lean dogs aren't incredibly friendly when it comes to sodium so maybe just skip

the old favorites and try something new.

Shouldn't: Oscar Mayer Turkey Dogs

These make the "bad" list not just because they're bad for you, but because they're masquerading

as being good.

You'll probably glance at them, think the lower-fat turkey hot dogs are a good idea,

and grab a pack.

But they're fairly high-calorie, and they're high in fat and sodium, too.

In other words, if a healthy grill option is the only thing on your mind, you're better

off looking elsewhere.

Oscar Mayer's Light Wieners get an honorable mention here, too.

Even though they boast that they contain less fat and calories than their heftier cousins,

they're still going to set your diet back with 6 grams of fat each.

Shouldn't: Vegetarian and kosher dogs

People have different reasons for becoming vegetarian, and if you think a vegetarian

hot dog is a good idea for any of your meat-free friends and family, there's a good chance

you're mistaken.

In 2015, Clear Food did a deep dive into just what's in a hot dog, and found that ten percent

of hot dogs labeled as vegetarian contained meat products of some sort.

The report didn't name the brands, instead suggesting that it's a widespread problem

across the industry.

Clear Food also found that many of the pork-free hot dogs still contained pork.

Worse, some of them were still labeled as kosher.

Shouldn't: Morning Star Corn Dogs

Who doesn't love a good deep fried corn dog?

Well, be careful what you get, because Morning Star's vegetarian corn dogs come with a whole

bunch of extras.

These clock in at 150 calories each, and they also have a pretty shocking 470 mg of sodium.

That's around a third of what you should be eating for the entire day, all on a single

stick.

There's another problem here, too.

Not only are they full of fillers, extenders, and ingredients designed to mimic the texture

of meat, they're so heavily processed those vegetarian ingredients aren't even recognizable

anymore.

Calcium Channel Blockers & Cardiovascular Pharmacology | NCLEX RN Review 2018 - Duration: 8:48.

Welcome to this video tutorial on calcium channel blockers, a class of cardiovascular

drugs.

Let's start out by looking at how this type of drug works at the cellular level.

When muscles are relaxed, potassium ions are in the muscle cell and calcium and sodium

ions are outside the muscle cell.

For muscle contraction to occur, the potassium ions leave the cell and sodium and calcium

ions enter the cell.

The cell membrane contains L-type calcium channels through which calcium ions enter

into the cell.

These channels are responsible for regulating the entry of calcium into muscle cells which

stimulate vascular smooth muscle contraction.

Because calcium stimulates vascular smooth muscle contraction, when there is more calcium

in the cells, the vessels become narrower & BP increases.

When there is less calcium in the cells, the blood vessels are more relaxed & wider, so

BP decreases.

Calcium channel blockers are a class of drugs that block calcium from entering into the

cells of heart & blood vessel muscles.

So, when a patient has high BP, angina, or heart arrhythmias, calcium channel blockers

block calcium from entering the cell by binding to the L-type calcium channels.

Therefore, calcium channel blockers cause smooth muscle relaxation (vasodilation).

They dilate coronary arteries & peripheral arterioles, but NOT veins.

They decrease the contractility of heart (also known as a negative inotropic effect).

They decrease the heart rate (negative chronotropic effect).

They decrease the conduction velocity within the heart, especially at the AV (atrioventricular)

node (known as a negative dromotropic effect).

Therefore, calcium channel blockers are used to treat angina (chest pain), hypertension,

and tachyarrhythmia (rapid irregular heartbeat).

Angina is the pain that occurs when the heart is not getting enough oxygen in relation to

its workload.

Calcium channel blockers treat ANGINA by dilating the arterial walls (which reduces pressure),

decreasing the ventricular afterload (which is the resistance the ventricle has to overcome

to eject blood from the ventricle chamber) & decreasing the oxygen demand of the heart

muscle.

CCB's treat HYPERTENSION by causing smooth muscle relaxation - when the systemic vascular

resistance decreases – the arterial blood pressure is lowered.

Remember, the systemic vascular resistance, is the resistance that has to be overcome

to push blood through the circulatory system to create flow.

CCB's treat TACHYARRHYTHMIA by decreasing the electrical firing rate of the pacemaker

sites within the heart and decreasing the force needed by the heart to contract.

Slower contraction results in lower oxygen demand on the heart muscle resulting in a

better oxygen supply to the heart muscle.

There are 3 classes of calcium channel blockers - dihydropyridines, phenylalkylamine, and

benzothiazepine (the last two are considered non-dihydropyridines).

The dihydropyridine class is the most smooth muscle selective class of CCB's.

They decrease the systemic vascular resistance & arterial pressure.

Therefore, they are primarily used to treat hypertension.

However, the vasodilatation & hypotension effects can lead to reflex tachycardia (which

results in an increased oxygen demand on the myocardium).

Because vasodilation decreases the blood returning to the heart, the heart has to beat harder

& faster to keep up the supply – too much vasodilation then causes the reflex tachycardia.

Take note that the drugs in this class end in "-pine."

Nifedipine (Procardia), Nicardipine (Cardene), Felodipine (Plendil), Isradipine (DynaCirc),

and Amlodipine (Norvasc).

Remember, these drugs all cause a decrease in BP and increase in heart rate.

Side effects of dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers include excessively low BP, dizziness,

headaches, reflex tachycardia, flushing, rashes, constipation / nausea, and peripheral edema.

The phenylalkylamine class of drugs are a non-dihydropyridine that decreases the oxygen

demand on the heart & reverses coronary vasospasm (the sudden, intense constriction of a coronary

artery that can occlude the vessel).

They are used to treat angina & arrhythmias.

They cause less vasodilation, so less tachycardia.

They actually can cause excessive bradycardia, impaired electrical conduction, and depressed

contractility as side effects, so patients that already have any of these issues should

not take non-dihydropyridine CCBs.

Also, they should not be given with beta-blockers, because beta-blockers also depress cardiac

mechanical and electrical activity.

The drug commonly used in this category is Verapamil.

This drug treats arrhythmias, as well as angina by reducing the myocardial oxygen demand and

reversing coronary vasospasm.

Benzothiazepines are another non-dihydropyridine CCB that has cardio-depressant & vasodilation

effects.

They decrease arterial pressure without as much reflex tachycardia caused by dihydropyridines.

They can also cause bradycardia as a side effect.

The specific drug in this class is Diltiazem, which is in between verapamil and dihydropyridines

in its selectivity for vascular calcium channels.

The side effects are similar to the phenylalkylamine class - excessive bradycardia, impaired electrical

conduction, & depressed contractility.

There are some rare, but possible side effects of calcium channel blockers - arrythmias,

heart block, and heart failure.

CCB can cause further worsening of heart failure as a result of their negative inotropic effect

– because they reduce the ability of the heart to contract & pump blood.

Patient education is important with all medications.

Teach the patient taking calcium channel blockers, the following:

•Take with a meal or glass of milk to protect stomach.

•Avoid grapefruit juice – it increases the concentration of medicine in the blood

•Avoid drinking alcohol – it can cause severe side effects & affect the way the medication

works, and

•Do not stop taking calcium channel blockers suddenly – it may make angina worse.

Let's go over a practice question to review.

A patient has been prescribed Amlodipine for hypertension.

The nurse should educate the patient about the effects of this CCB, which include…

Bradycardia and depressed contractility Dizziness, headaches, and reflex tachycardia

Impaired electrical conduction Coronary vasospasm

If you chose 2, you're correct.

Dizziness, headaches, and reflex tachycardia are all effects of dihydropyridine CCB.

Here's another one…

Calcium channel blockers are used to treat…

Angina, bradycardia, and chest pain Hypotension, dizziness, and arrhythmias

Angina, hypertension, and tachyarrhythmia Coronary vasospasm, reflex tachycardia, and

bradycardia If you chose 3, you're right, CCBs are given

to treat angina, hypertension, and tachyarrhythmias.

Xbox Scarlett 2020: will next-generation console be cloud-based? - Duration: 7:17.

The Xbox One X has been on sale for little more than eight months but that hasn't quelled fresh speculation about the Microsoft's next hardware release

Xbox chief Phil Spencer stoked the rumours earlier this month at the company's conference at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3), where he revealed that Microsoft's hardware team is "deep into architecting the next Xbox consoles"

Spencer did not go into detail about the console, code-named "Scarlett", but industry experts and insiders have been sharing their predictions for the next generation system

Here's everything we know about it so far: When will it come out? Microsoft has yet to announce a launch date for the next console

However, tech blog Thurrott reports that the company is aiming for a release window in 2020, which would coincide with the expected launch of Sony's PlayStation 5 system

Will Xbox Scarlett be cloud based?  Perhaps. According to tech blog Thurrott, Microsoft is planing to launch two versions of its next-generation Xbox in 2020

The first will take the form of a convention console, similar to the existing Xbox One S and X, while the other will reportedly be a cloud-based streaming device

A company insider told the blog that the online-only version of the console, dubbed "Scarlett Cloud", will allow gamers to stream titles over the internet to a device of their choice, such as a smartphone, laptop or dedicated streaming box

Microsoft only hinted at the existence of a next-generation Xbox at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) in June, so there is no word on  the hardware specs of the streaming box

But if the rumours are true, Scarlett Cloud could take the form of the Nvidia Shield, says TechRadar

The Shield is a £190 compact streaming box that lets gamers play titles in 4K resolution, negating the need to spend hundreds of pounds on a gaming PC

Will the next Xbox support VR? No, almost certainly not. Microsoft marketing boss Mike Nichols told video gaming website GamesIndustry

biz: "We don't have any plans specific to Xbox consoles in virtual reality (VR) or mixed reality (MR)

" He added: "Our perspective on it has been and continues to be that the PC is probably the best platform for more immersive VR and MR

" By contrast, rival Sony's PlayStation has offered its own VR solution since 2016

However, while Sony has sold more than one million examples of its PS VR headset, the technology has not proved as popular as was expected, the BBC says

What about streaming? Streaming video games to consoles, rather than downloading or buying physical copies, is a growing trend

French tech firm Blade recently launched a video game streaming service that, for a fee of around £30 a month, offers players access to a powerful gaming computer from a number of devices, including smartphones

It appears that Microsoft may be interested in a similar streaming subscription service for the next Xbox

In an interview with The Guardian following E3, Spencer said: "Our focus is on bringing console quality games that you see on TV or PC to any device

"I want to see the creators that I have relationships with reach all two billion people who play games, and not have to turn their studio into something that makes match-three games rather than story-driven single player games

" Microsoft already has its foot in the door of the subscription services industry, with its Xbox Games Pass

For £7.99 per month, players can download around 200 Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles, including Halo 5: Guardians and Fallout 4

Will it have keyboard and mouse support? According to tech blog Windows Central, newly leaked documents reveal that accessory firm Razer attended a private meeting with Microsoft earlier this year to discuss support for peripheral devices

Microsoft is reported to have been planning to introduce support for keyboards and mice in an update for the console's developer software

It is not yet know whether the tech giant went ahead with the update, but if the rumour is true, keyboard and mouse support may not only appear on the next Xbox but also on Microsoft's current crop of console's

Top 10 Scary Alone In The Shower Stories - Duration: 13:38.

Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing Channel on the internet.

I am your host, Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking the Top 10 Scary Alone in the

Shower Stories.

I love a good shower.

In fact, shower time is like my healing time… my bathroom is one of my favourite places

in my house.

It is a healing space!

I really don't want this list to ruin that for me!

Before we jump into this list, I want to ask you guys if you sing in the shower….

I think we all do it, but maybe I am wrong.

Also, let me know what your shower song of choice is!

Okay….

The top 10 scary alone in the shower stories….

What is real and what is simple creepypasta….you decide.

10 - The Haunted Shower Tile Imagine renovating your bathroom to great

expense only to discover that you have inadvertently welcomed in a demon!

Hungarian man Laszlo Csrefko spent a fortune on fixing up his bathroom and everything looked

great when he had finished.

When his wife, 47 year old Andrea, took her first shower, she screamed out in horror when

she saw the face of the devil staring at her in one of the tiles!

She said I was naked coming out of the shower and I could suddenly see his eyes staring

into me.

I just screamed and ran.

The couple gave an interview to the Daily Express and Laszlo said that the face of satan

simply appeared over night.

He said "The room is always ice cold no matter how high we turn the heating up and

we've just stopped using it because it's too spooky.."

The pair were looking for an exorcist to rid the shower of its unwelcome guest.

9 – The Tentacle Monster This is from a Reddit No Sleep, so I can only

assume it's a creepypasta, but who knows!

The Shape Shifter20 posted a pretty spooky story about their first experience living

alone.

The writer acknowledges that the feeling of being watched is totally normal, and that

this is often heightened in the shower because the sound of the running water deafens our

senses a little, making us vulnerable.

Either way, the redditor couldn't help but feel watched while they were in the shower.

To ease their paranoid, they decided to set up a camera in the bathroom.

After a shower, they watched back the footage.

Around the three minute mark, they saw something wriggling under the door, reaching under to

undo the lock.

Then in the room came a small white creature with a large head and lanky tentacle arms.

It had giant glassy black eyes and – I quote – seemed to be staring straight into their

soul through the shower curtain.

They said the creature was benign and terrifying at the same time.

They posted the footage online and soon were met with a response from another user who

sent a photo of a similar creature.

What is this shower creeper?

The poster decided to move back in with their parents so they could shower in peace…which

is maybe fair.

One day, their brother asked if they had come in the room while they were showering…and

they said no…and said "Oh, that's weird because before I got into the shower, I locked

the bathroom door but when I got out, the bathroom door was unlocked…"

8 - Ghost in the Shower This Youtube video is truly ridiculous in

my opinion, but it does seem to have some people fooled!

With a whopping 18 million views, I couldn't not mention it in our scary shower video,

even though I suspect it is a fraud!

The video starts with a message saying: the following video is from the mun2vault.

The video claims to have proof if paranormal activity.

You be the judge.

I am the judge!

Basically it looks look a boyfriend cheekily filming his girlfriend.

As she gets out of the shower, she's all like….

Oiii….

Don't do that!

They're Spanish I think, by the way.

Anyway, after she gets out the shower turns back on and a figure is seen behind the shower

curtain…and we're like….whoooo dat.

Then we see… it's a ghost.

Orrrr an actor who looks like the kid from the Grudge.

18 point 5 million views.

To be fair though, the dislike ratio is pretty high!

7 - Forgive Me This creepy story comes from Cosmopolitan

Magazine, where they asked readers to write in their creepy ghost stories and this one

caught my eye.

The person wrote in to say that they had been living in their apartment for around five

months and a friend had just stayed over.

The writer went to take a shower and enjoyed as totally normal; nothing seemed out of place.

Then when they got out of the shower….well….

I'll read you what they wrote: On the mirror, in PERFECT writing (no human could do with

their finger) read something along the lines of "Dear father, please forgive me" I completely

forget the rest because I was just so freaked out.

But it was terrifying.

The bathroom door was locked the entire time, and no one could have got in.

It had also never been there any other time I took a shower."

6 - The Sponge Camera A secret camera makes for a scary shower story

indeed.

Just when you think you are alone, there is someone spying on you and using the footage

for god knows what.

Well….

Pervert Rico Auliputra concealed a camera inside a sponge in his bathroom in order to

spy on his three female housemates.

The Indonesian national was attending the University of Wollongong when he decided to

peep on the girls alone on the shower.

The 26 year old was discovered when one of the women noticed a green flashing light coming

from a slit in a yellow cleaning sponge.

On further investigation – they noticed the sponge was connected to a wire and a batter

power pack.

The IT student was spared jail time because he showed remorse.

He said I regret what I did because I betrayed my friends.

It's hard now to be trusted because of the mistake I did.

I mean, to me, he deserves to see the inside of a cell for a while….

Spying on people when they think they are alone in the shower and then keeping that

footage…it isn't okay.

5 - Slipped and Fell Ahh…the old slipped and fell chestnut.

Whatever happened here, whether or not this was an accident, this was certainly a truly

terrifying outcome.

So….

A 26 year old guy from New Delhi was having a shower when he slipped and fell on the hand

held shower head and got it rammed six inches up his rectum.

Or at least he told medics that he slipped and fell.

However, the doctors, from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Post Graduate Institute of Medical

Education and Research in New Delhi, felt 'high suspicion' that the object was actually

put there for 'auto-erotic purposes'.

Mysterious!

Luckily for the man, the show head was removed by medics.

We all laugh, not because we judge him, but because it is kind of an embarrassing way

to show up in the emergency room…. but if this WAS an accident…then it is a horrifying

freak accident indeed!

4 - No showers for 21 years What a story!

Posted into Reddit No Sleep and with 2.7 thousand thumbs up, Red Grins post about a horrifying

shower was pretty popular.

The writer said that he didn't shower for 21 years as a result of the incident.

Basically, what happened was a family moved in across the street from the author, including

an old wheelchair bound woman who could do nothing but sit and stair.

The old lady occupied an upstairs bedroom and would sit and stare out of the window,

especially at the author.

He was very freaked out by her, feeling she would stare at him more than she would stare

at other people.

One day, he saw her being hurriedly wheeled out of her house by her family, and despite

being slumped, she continued to stare at the author.

Later when his own family came home, they discussed how her condition had worsened and

she was in hospital.

Later the boy was taking a shower when a horrible feeling came over him.

He felt watched.

Then the rings holding he curtain in place began to move….

The shower curtain opened to reveal the old woman, standing naked with lank hair and saggy

breasts.

She said, August…Ausgust…August to him.

He ran away, calling the police, who found the woman slumped naked on the floor.

It seems she had escaped the care home she was in and got into the boys house.

Later, after some investigation, the boy found that August was the name of her husband.

Creepy.

Buuut is it a reason not to shower until you're 33.

I don't think so.

3 - The Last Moments of Travis Alexander Travis Alexander was a Mormon who lived in

Mesa Arizona.

He met his girlfriend, Jodi at a conference in Las Vegas.

The pair had an intense two and a half year on off relationship, which ended with him

dead in the shower and her jailed for murder.

As their relationship was breaking down, Jodi moved to Mesa to try and win Travis back,

but he accused her of stalking him.

Despite telling his family she was a menace, he continued to sleep with her, but after

two years, he refused to commit and she moved back to California.

Two months later, in June 2008, it seems the pair rekindled for a final time before Jodi

slit his throat as he showered.

She then shot him, stabbed him then left him there alone to bleed out and die.

He was found dead in the shower days later by worried co-workers.

Before the grisly murder, the pair photographed one another naked.

It seems that Jodi also photographed Travis in the shower, before snapping the moment

she slit the back of his throat with a knife.

The police found the digital camera in a washing machine along with bloodied clothes that had

been put through a wash.

The police were able to recover the deleted images.

Jodi was sentenced to life in Prison.

2 - Phantom Flusher This story was written for the website Thought

Catalogue by Jack Follman.

It seems he used to live with a man named Ben, until something terrible happened.

Jack was showering one day when he heard Ben peeing in the bathroom.

Jack asked him not to flush the toilet because it changes the shower temperature.

Later, when the pair were chatting, Jack mentioned the incident in passing and Ben was adamant

that he had never flushed the toilet.

Jack was freaked out but eventually shrugged it off and forgot about it, until one day

he was showering again and heard his partner come in again, this time flushing the toilet

and sending hot water cascading down Jack's body.

Furious, jack peered round the shower curtain, but there was nobody there.

Assuming his boyfriend had quickly fled, he stomped out of the shower to tell him off,

but he wasn't there.

This was when Jack decided to set up a camera, despite Ben suggesting he was crazy.

After reviewing a few hours of footage, Jack finally saw what was happening.

When he and Ben were showering, a man dressed in black wearing a white mask was creeping

up through a trap door in the tiles and standing in the room while the men showered.

Realising Ben was in the apartment on his own, Jack tried calling him to warn him.

He didn't answer.

Jack went home to find Ben was not there.

Jack called the police, but no trace of his partner was ever found.

Finally….

1 - Freak Accident Oh this is so so sad.

In June, 2018, a 17 year old girl from Pennsylvania died in a freak shower accident while getting

ready for school.

Bri Marie Rapp appeared to black out in the shower and hit her head.

The teen was on medication for a thyroid condition that had caused her to black out in the past.

It seems that when she fell down, her hair clogged the drain and the bathtub filled with

water, drowning her as she was unconscious.

Her mum, Kimberly Shultz, had no idea what had happened until she found water outside

the bathroom and thought that there was a plumbing issue.

How horribly sad and terrifying that that can happen.

So that was the Top 10 Scary Alone in the shower stories!

Comments from the Top 10 Scary Abandoned Hospitals.

Junior Campos Said: My Toaster caught on fire this morning.

Aoba Uzumaki said: Please do Prussian urban legends.

I really want this list.

The scariest moment I've been in is when I was nearly bitten by a large dog after being

chased for 20 minutes.

Plus I love your your shirt Rebecca.

… Prussia…so old Germany new Poland?!

Your scary story is worrying!

I love dogs… but some big ones can be scary.
