(MARKER SCRATCHING)

(ELECTRONIC VIDEO GAME CHIME)

So, I get to talk about video games again today which is pretty great

and I get to talk about one of the games that I've been playing the most

and that is Fortnite.

If you would like to see me play Fortnite,

I do have a Twitch channel, RikkiPoynterPlays,

which I will have a link down below in the description box and in the comments.

So, I actually made a video about Fortnite earlier in the year

talking about how accessible it was to someone who is deaf,

has hearing loss, etc, etc.

And in a nutshell, it wasn't really all that accessible.

I mean, obviously it depends on how much hearing you have

or, you know, what kind of hearing you have,

what you can and can't hear, blah, blah, blah,

because, again, deafness is a spectrum.

And now there's something that's a bit of a game changer.

So, with season five comes a brand-new update with two accessibility features.

One is for blind people and, as a not blind person,

I can't really comment on that.

Maybe James Rath will talk about that

because he has played Fortnite, we've played Fortnite together.

But, for deaf people, we now have visuals

and I can't remember what they called it

but, essentially, it's taking the sounds of chests, footsteps, battles, battling

and letting you know, hey, it's happening

and this is the direction that it's in.

So, what was a good accessibility feature already was that,

when you got shot, it would tell you where you were getting shot from.

So, that's always been there which is great

because I don't think PUBG has that.

Actually, people confirmed in another video that PUBG does not have that.

So, that was a bit of a struggle

but, with Fortnite, you got that accessibility.

However, that's the only accessibility that you got.

Now, I have been able to hear footsteps,

when they're running, anyway, also not all the time

because I've definitely been ambushed without knowing it

and some guns, yes and no,

but, chests, I can't hear chests at all.

Like, it's just impossible for me.

So, what you get with this, I'm gonna try to find a picture to put up here.

So, you get a circle around your character and it comes up little icons.

You get chests and they're, like, a yellow-orange colour

and then there's like a little fire

that kind of insinuates that there's battling going on.

There's footsteps and, you know, the basic sounds that are happening,

you get notified that they're there.

And that is so awesome.

I love being able to have that.

I mean, with the battling and whatnot,

I don't really have a problem with that most of the time.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

But the chests - again, I can't hear them at all.

So, to know that it's gonna let me know that I missed one

is absolutely fantastic and I never want that feature to go away.

So, those are the good things.

There's one thing that is a negative, that I really don't like,

and that is the fact that this accessibility feature

acts like a cochlear implant, OK?

When you turn the feature on, everything else is off.

So, there's no sound whatsoever.

One - you can't hear your teammates.

I tried it with a friend and the talking went 'poof'.

Maybe that was a glitch on my end somehow

because we only used it once but I never used it again

with that setting because how am I supposed to play squad or duo?

I mean, I can't understand everything that my teammates are saying

but, you know, it was still nice to have something.

Now, if you're playing by yourself, it doesn't really matter as much, I guess,

depending on, like, if you like absolutely, like, zero noise

or if it just doesn't apply to you,

maybe you're 100% profoundly deaf,

maybe you do have a cochlear implant and you shut it off today

because you don't want to deal with it, well, it's already quiet.

Or if you're just, like, really, really deaf without the hearing aid.

You know where I'm going with this.

If you're deaf, you know what I'm talking about.

But, as a streamer, this is the most boring thing.

It makes streams so boring and I lose viewers whenever I use it.

So, I was testing out and it was so boring because I'm focused on the game.

I can't always be as entertaining as I want to be when I'm focused on the game,

especially because there's no sound,

so I have to focus only on the visual part of it

which I really only need a visual part of it for chests.

So, if you've got hearing streamers, they're gonna get bored.

Of course, if they like you enough, they're gonna stay

but overall it's just really boring.

I like...because I still have enough hearing

to be able to hear the explosions

and the shots and, you know, whatever else,

I mean, not as loud, not as well as hearing players

but there's something in there, it's nice to have that

and I do feel like I focus a little bit better.

With the visual thing, it is kind of small.

So, sometimes I'm like, 'Wait, what is this?'

And then I'm not entirely focused on the rest of my surroundings.

Why can't we have both the visual and the audio?

Like, to me, it doesn't make any sense

to not have the audio part in there as well.

Have the audio and also have the visual.

I mean, there's gotta be some audio in there anyway, somehow,

with some sort of programming because how else would you have the visuals?

So, it's a problem for all of those.

All of those, you know, ways of playing, all of those systems

have zero audio when turning that feature on but mobile still has sound.

And if you don't know, the accessibility feature,

that particular feature was on mobile to begin with.

So, why did they not transfer that to PC, to console, to Switch?

So, hopefully, maybe that's just an oops in the system

and, you know, with the 100,000 updates that they do already,

maybe that can get fixed because, just based on that fact alone,

I did not want to bother with using it again.

I mean, I still will probably go back and forth just to test it out

but probably only when I'm playing Fortnite by myself

and not on stream which really is not that often.

Overall, I appreciate it, I love that it's an option

but I think that's one major thing that needs to be changed.

So, yes, fellow deaf Fortnite players,

please let me know if you've used it and let me know your thoughts on it.

I know one guy didn't buy a battle pass until this feature came on

so, obviously,

this is the power of accessibility in providing that accessibility.

You get more customers.

People need to realise that. It's a great thing.

When you make something accessible, you're gonna get more people,

whether you're offering a free service or a paid service.

And if you are a blind Fortnite player,

I'd love to know your thoughts on the accessibility feature

that they have for you all.

Obviously, it's not gonna work very well for me.

I mean, I could probably play with it just to see what it looks like

but I'm not gonna know how accessible it is.

Again, don't forget to follow me on Twitch - RikkiPoynterPlays.

I stream Sunday through Friday,

sometimes on Saturday but that's only if I'm not filming.

And before you go, if you haven't, consider being a pledge on Patreon.

You get exclusive perks like music playlists once or twice a month,

written content that you won't see anywhere else

and Pen Pals if you go up high enough.

And I will see you later. Bye.

GREEK GIRL SPEAKS RUSSIAN|| ГРЕЧАНКА РАЗГОВОРИВАЕТ НА РУССКОМ w/subs - Duration: 4:56.

Hey guys, how are you? I am Nicky

Like I promised today I will be doing

a video in russian, this will be really funny

because I don't remember how to speak in front of a camera in russian

I actually think I have never done a video in russian

I hope you enjoy, if yes like and subscribe to my channel

Anyways, I have many subs that are in the russian language faculty

So yeah, if you don't know me, hi my name is Nicky

I am 19 years old, I am at university and I am greek

I speak russian because my whole family does

and all my relatives as well

My parents studied in Moscow

So I also had to learn russian

I had no choice

When I was a kid, everyone used to speak russian, so that's it

Today, I decided to speak about series

Since I also had questions like "what series do you watch

because now I am learning Russian and I want to distract myself with series"

Well first of all, Russian is a difficult language

I understand that, I still make mistakes

but that's nothing, you can fix that

since I speak well, read, write and understand

I don't have to study grammar or anything like that

I just read books and all the unknown words or phrases

I write them down

and like that I am "learning" russian

this of course isn't very easy

because I have to read at a slow pace

But at least my level gets better

and now what series am I watching..

My favorite series is definitely "The Kitchen"

There are 6 series and two films

This series, I adore it!

It has comedy and romance, everything I like

and the actors are really funny

This is Galkin (Russian comedian)

and this is Brad Pitt. Yes, yes

And in Russian, it is the other way around

What?

This is Brad Pitt

and this is Galkin

Good day friends, today we have an interview right from the kitchen of Claude Monet

Who are you shooting, shoot me!

Anyway this story is about Max, who started working

in the best restaurant of Moscow, Claude Monet

And basically we see his life in the restaurant

what it's like to be a chef

Between the 4th and 5th season I think

There's also a film "Kitchen in Paris"

Which is an amazing movie

and then there is the 5th and 6th season and then another movie

"The last fight", I didn't like it as much

but still it is part of the Kitchen

If you want to watch a Russian series, then it is definitely this one

I am infatuated with it

Later, this is like a sequel to the Kitchen, "Hotel Eleon"

In the 5th and 6th season, the Kitchen is transferred to the Eleon hotel

and after all that, they came up with "Hotel Eleon"

Same story, but different actors

we are talking about completely different things

The first season was fantastic

the second one was okay

And the third one was horrible, I couldn't watch that

Next, Voronini

again comedy, amazing

in this series I think there are 21 seasons already

But I can't just not watch them

Just amazing, you will definitely laugh hard

The concept is about the Voronini family

and their life

And when I am anxious I want to eat even more

and when I...

Enough, I get it, you see the water is lessening

you want to eat unwashed cucumbers in the salad?

You can even give me soil, but faster

Here, eat

Kosta, I just noticed that we have a blue backround

and it blends in with my scarf

Do I have time to change it?

STAND ON YOUR PLACES!!!!

AND WE WILL TAKE THIS STUPID PHOTO

Super funny, definitely recommend

Later, something a little more

different, you might like it, you might not, I really liked it

because again it's a comedy "Svati"

In this series again I think there are 6 seasons or something like that

and the concept is about the married couple's parents

From one side Ivan and Valentina

and on the other side George and Olga and their life in general

and next for me is of course "Improvisation"

Improvisation is a tv program on TNT

It's all about stand-up and comedy

Their job is just to improvise

It's really funny because they also invite famous actors and singers

And I think that's it guys , I think I said everything

If you are learning any language, don't forget to work on it

At least watch series, this will do as well

I hope you liked this video, if yes like and subscribe

Tell me in the comments what other videos you want to see

And I'll see you on my next video

Is There Treasure On Oak Island? - Duration: 4:34.

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

For years, tales have abounded of a location on Oak Island, off the coast of Nova Scotia,

Canada, that contains a giant hole that's supposedly full of buried treasure.

This hole, nicknamed the Money Pit, has been the subject of countless excavations, where

treasure hunters hoped to find their fortune buried beneath the Earth.

But IS there a money pit on this island, or is this big hole just a big joke?

Let's explore.

If you want more videos like this, check out our "Biggest Debated Topics" playlist

on the channel.

Now get ready, it's time to ask the question: Is There a Money Pit on Oak Island?

The search for the Money Pit has been rather extensive, with millions being spent on a

number of excavations, ever since it was discovered in 1795.

It was found when three teenaged boys were exploring Oak Island.

They began digging in a spot where the ground was sagging, and found a 30 foot deep hole,

seemingly man-made due to the wooden platforms found within.

Years later, they returned with a funded expedition to search it in more detail.

The continued search over the years has resulted in the death of 6 treasure hunters, and the

only real findings have been things left behind by previous hunters.

However, this lack of findings doesn't stop people from theorizing as to what could be

buried deep beneath the ground on Oak Island.

One theory states that the pit contains the crown jewels of France, which went missing

in 1791, and were taken to Louisburg, just north of Oak Island.

This states that the jewels were taken to Oak Island for safekeeping, since the British

often attacked Louisberg.

Another theory claims that it actually contains the original works of Shakespeare, buried

by Sir Francis Bacon in the 16th century.

However, this is based on a piece of parchment paper retrieved from the pit, which is far

from conclusive evidence.

The most widely accepted theory is that it was the hiding spot for Captain Kidd, the

infamous pirate from the early 18th century.

Many believe that he frequented Oak Island when looking to relax and repair his ships.

It's believed that he may have built the money pit, and even the complicated system of flood

tunnels, in order to protect his booty.

Yarr.

It could even be that this was all just a hoax, done for fun, or in order to draw people

to the island.

Considering nothing of great importance has been found down there after years of study,

and with today's technology, many believe that it probably doesn't contain the treasure

of legend.

However, the incredible effort made to construct the pit does seem to point to there being

something valuable hidden within.

And it could be that explorers simply haven't made it past what is largely considered a

booby trap.

This booby trap is in the form of "Flood Tunnels", which supposedly connect the tunnel

to the beaches, flooding the hole with seawater when explorers attempt to dig further.

These have been the bane of many an expedition, with most hunters claiming to have dug to

a certain depth, only to be forced to stop when ocean water filled the hole from several

directions.

This is believed by some to be the reason no treasure has been found.

It's assumed by many that the sudden rush of water is due to these flood tunnels, and

their existence is a significant part of why people continue to believe there may be treasure

there.

There's no reason for them to have been constructed were it not to protect something

valuable.

The only problem with this is that these flood tunnels have yet to actually be seen, but

rather are assumed to be there.

If we haven't been able to find them or even work around them with today's technology,

how were they built and utilized by people in the 1700s or earlier?

This leads some to argue that these flood tunnels aren't booby traps at all, but rather

natural fissures in the bedrock that allow water to flow through.

And this does make sense, particularly given our inability to find the tunnels.

If the flood tunnels did turn out to be natural, it would remove perhaps the most significant

piece of evidence in favour of money in the pit.

It should be mentioned that there were 5 box drains found under the beach at Smiths Cove

on the East side of the island, found by the Truro Syndicate around 1850.

Many believers point to this as evidence of a flood tunnel, claiming them to be feeders

for the flood tunnel, pumping water into the pit; but this is not conclusive evidence.

The use of these box drains is not known for certain, as there are any number of uses for

them.

Many believe it's more likely that they were used to extract salt form the sea water.

And now we return to our question: Is There a Money Pit on Oak Island?

As usual with questions like this, we don't know for sure.

Given the extent of the excavations over the years, and the complete lack of findings,

it does seem likely that there is no treasure there.

It's possible that there is and it simply hasn't been found yet due to flood tunnels,

or even that there was once treasure but it has since been recovered.

But as of now, that sounds a lot like wishful thinking.

Then again, maybe I'm just saying that so I can have all the treasure to myself!

It will be mine!

All mine!

Mooohahahahahaaaaa.

Ahem.

Sorry.

Thank you for watching Life's Biggest Questions, I hope this was interesting and informative,

Hey YouTube, Jim here!

Welcome to Top10Archive!

Women.

Can't live with them, can't live without them, and can't trust that they're not some hideous

mythical beast in disguise just waiting for you to drop your guard so they can tear your

heart out and drink your blood like a fine wine... <crickets> I mean...

We love exploring the world's mythologies here at Team Archive and our viewers seem

to be on the same page as us.

So we're back with another mythological video, this time looking at the top ten scariest

female mythical creatures!

Before we cause you to start looking suspiciously at every female in your life, be sure to subscribe

and click the bell so you can keep up with our mythological offerings!

If we haven't frightened you off by the end, be sure to give this video a thumbs up and

comment with your favorite mythical beast!

10.

Campe There's nothing worse than finding a beautiful

woman only to find that she has the lower body of a dragon and the deadly, venomous

tail of a scorpion.

This Greek creation was also depicted as having snakes coiled around her ankles and, here's

the really disturbing part, the heads of all manner of animals and beasts embedded in her

waist.

Campe was ordered by Cronus to guard Hecatonkheires and Cyclopes after they were imprisoned by

Uranus.

In the great battle between the Titans and the Olympians, Zeus slew Campe to free the

Cyclopes.

9.

Churel A fiend found roaming the lands of Southern

Asia and India, the Churel was a tragic creature, a spirit of a woman low in the caste system

that perished either during childbirth, while pregnant, or during her menstrual cycle.

A woman's chances of rising as a Churel were increased during the five-day-long festival

of the Diwali.

They may initially appear as an attractive woman, but their true form is more grotesque.

They're horridly ugly with backward feet, a pot belly, and a thirst for the blood of

young men.

8.

Banshee The banshee of Irish folklore can appear in

a variety of forms, some more horrifying than others.

Known for their scream, which is thought to be an omen of death, they may appear as a

beautiful woman donning a shroud, a red-haired pale woman, a half-naked headless woman with

a bowl of blood, or an old woman, either dressed in green or black garb with long white or

grey hair.

While banshees can be harmless and exist only to watch over their family, of course there's

a version you'll want to avoid completely.

Appearing as distorted and horrifying apparitions, the Banshee's shrill cry will send shivers

down your spine.

7.

Dziwozona In Slavic mythology, the Dziwozona is a malicious

entity, a swamp demon found slinking around near rivers, lakes, and streams.

They've been described as ugly old women with unnaturally hairy bodies.

That's not the beast's only form, however, as it can also shift into a nymph capable

of luring weak-willed men to their deaths.

When she's not devouring men in a van down by the river, Dziwozona has also been said

to kidnap infants and replace them with her own grotesque children.

6.

Patasola If you happen to be a male logger or hunter,

wandering through the wilds of South America, chances are you may happen upon 'ole "one

foot," or Patasola.

Just be wary of any incredibly attractive women meandering through the woods.

Be even more cautious when they approach you and start to seduce you.

That's not normal behavior, at least not for women that aren't Patasolas.

The evil female fiend of South America has a vampiric thirst for blood and is quite partial

to skinning and eating the flesh of her victims.

5.

Krasue Admittedly, we've covered creatures like the

Krasue before, but she's just so grotesque and horrifying that we didn't think it'd be

right to leave her off this list.

This floating, disembodied head is a Cambodian legend that will keep you up at night.

Though their heads are youthful and attractive, the rest of her body consists of internal

organs hanging from her neck.

She also has roots in Malay and Indonesian mythologies as the Penanggalan or Leyak and

in Vietnamese lore as the ma lai via.

Like so many of the creatures on this list, she has an insatiable thirst for blood.

4.

Gello Described as the "child eating demoness,"

Gello has appeared in Greek, Babylonian, and Byzantine mythology.

While the spelling of her name may change, she's essentially the same beastly creature

across all representations.

She was believed to have surfaced in Babylon as a ghoul that brought death and sickness

wherever she went.

In Greek mythology, Gello was a virgin that was killed at a young age.

When she returned to the world as a spirit, she took her vengeance out on virgins and

pregnant women.

Later tellings of her tragic tale also claim she strangled babies and made women barren.

3.

Jorogumo Hey arachnophobes, here's something for you:

In Japanese mythology, there is a legend that states when a spider, typically an orb-weaver,

reaches 400 years old, it mutates into a spider-lady of some sorts.

The Jorogumo, which translates to "binding bride" or "whore spider," is about the size

of a cow and appears as an alluring lady.

It's still a spider, though, and will use its webbing to snare prey to feed on.

Avoiding a Jorogumo can be easy so long as you avoid waterfalls and the areas around

them.

In Kashikobuchi , the Binding Bride is a benevolent force.

But... it still looks like a giant lady spider and, therefore, is still terrifying.

2.

Succubi A popular mistress of evil, the Succubus is

a demon of lust, an irresistible seductress with a hunger for men and their innards.

Though the modern representation of the succubus is more alluring, when they were first conceptualized,

they were disgustingly deformed creatures that looked as dangerous as they really were.

Succubi are dangerous and sex-crazed, using their prey for pleasure, to regain strength,

and to conceive their own spawn.

They're known to come to men at night and take what they want, even if it meant leaving

behind the disemboweled corpse of her one-time lover.

1.

Gorgon We all know Gorgons by now.

They're among the most popular creatures in Greek mythology, but they're always worth

talking about when the opportunity arises.

Medusa is often the example people turn to, but the Greek poet Hesiod spoke of two other

Gorgons: Stheno and Euryale.

Early Grecian art portrayed Gorgons as winged creatures with hair of snakes and large protruding

teeth.

Later depictions removed the wings and gave them the body of a snake.

Medusa was best known for being able to turn her victims to stone with a simple stare.

Thanks you watching!

THIS Makes Her Want To Kiss You! - Duration: 7:06.

Jackie: I've seen it all the good the bad and the downright ugly. But guys that first

kiss is not that hard! Stay tuned to find out how you can save yourself some

embarrassment and make a flawless first move every time, hey guys what's up it's

Jackie here with The Attractive Man team, and today I'll be counting down the top

5 ways you can make any girl want to kiss you stay tuned for the last one

that's my personal favorite! Alright let's get started. Alright you guys the

main thing you need become comfortable with before attempting any of the

following tactics is tension creating and playing with the tension that

happens at the moments preceding a kiss is really going to make or break how

effective that kiss really is as humans we are naturally inclined to break any

kind of tension we run into in our daily lives this could be in our personal

lives our work lives and our dating lives so if you fail to master this art

of tension well that kiss is going to fall flat. Take this scenario: you invite

a girl over, start a movie, and you start to lean in and what does she do she

backs away right she dodges it does this sound familiar? I know it does and I can

honestly say you guys from the other side of things that the only thing the

girl is thinking about in that moment is I'm trying to watch a movie here dude!

The problem here is that you didn't build up any sort of tension in order to

incentivize her to break it. Luckily for you guys I've compiled a list of 5 easy

and effective ways to build tension in order to make that girl want to kiss you.

Before we get started make sure you hit that subscribe button down below and hit

that Bell notification button so you never miss out on new advice starting

off with number 5 you guys we have the playful approach now this approach is

gonna be awesome for you fun laid-back kind of guys because it not only allows

you to show off your fun-loving personality but it's the perfect segue

into that kiss so you're gonna want to find some sort of childlike activity and

amp it up a little bit make it a little bit more sensual if you know what I mean

so the best ways to do this are through tickling and play wrestling take this

exam hanging out with a girl preferably on a

couch or bed somewhere private this wouldn't necessarily work that well in a

bar or clubs heading and if you guys start eating it off try to pick up a

playful tickling battle this tactic works because it not only decreases the

proximity between the two of you guys but it also involves a type of body

contact which is a surefire way to increase tension that that girl is going

to want to break another little added to bit about this approach is that if you

do go with the playful wrestling tactic and you wrap your arms around that girl

she is going to feel a sense of security and automatically see you as more

masculine which coming from uncurls perspective is one of the most

attractive traits a guy can embody moving on to number four we have the

clever approach now this approach is a little bit different than the rest of

them because it doesn't involve any type of body contact so if you are a little

bit weary about where to touch a girl without

freaking her out this might be the best tactic for you this tactic involves the

use of clever games now let me give you an example one time back in college I

was hanging out with the guy after a party and there was a beer pong table

nearby if you aren't familiar with what beer pong is it's basically just a game

where you aim a ping pong ball into a cup and try to make it in and so what

this guy did is he picked up a ping pong ball that was lying on the ground and

said if I make this shot you owe me a kiss right it was simple and it worked

boys just make sure that whatever you're betting on you can actually do because

otherwise that would be a little embarrassing another option for you guys

is playing 20 questions now I know this sounds a little bit lame but you meow

girls love talking about themselves so if you guys are hanging out and you

bring up the idea of 20 questions it's very likely that she's going to

reciprocate the idea here is that you want to steadily ask questions in order

to increase tension until you finally get to that last question you say

something like how much do you want to kiss me it's probably gonna end with her

answering by kissing you this approaches saves you embarrassment and a slap face

because it kind of acts like a safety net you will know immediately after

asking that question or making that bet if she actually wants you to

kiss her or not just by reading her facial expressions all right moving on

to number three we have the flirty approach now this approach involves

talking about kissing before actually kissing which I know sounds a little bit

counterintuitive but hear me out a little bit one time I was watching a

movie with a guy and I made some sort of comment about how the couple on the

screen was kissing this eventually led into a conversation about our favorite

ways to kiss and who is a better kisser until eventually we had to prove each

other wrong this approach works because talking about something before actually

doing it is going to successfully increase tension now I know this tactic

involves a little bit more advanced conversing skills especially if the

girls don't bring up the idea of kissing like I did however you can make it 10

times easier for you guys by checking out the free conversation cheat sheet

listed in the description box below which is going to easily and effectively

outline how you can escalate any conversation like a pro so don't miss

out on any of these tips you guys check it out after this video number two is

called the intense approach this approach is going to use body language

in order to build tension it's pretty common because you can build an intense

tension which is why we're calling it the intense approach starting off at the

basics you're going to want to look at the majority of her body look to see if

her torso is facing you if it is you know you have her attention and you're

good to go after that you're going to want to try

to catch her gaze now this one is really important you guys because looking into

someone's eyes is scientifically proven to increase the bonding between two

individuals due to the release of a hormone called oxytocin once you catch

your gaze you can even add on some little nuances such as letting your knee

touch her knee or even you know pushing a lock of hair behind her ear these are

really effective and it's probably gonna end with her breaking this intense

tension by kissing you alright in finishing off at number one we have

these spontaneous approach now this approach you guys it's gonna be the

hardest to pull off but it's also the most memorable which is why girls love

it it doesn't seem forced it doesn't seem

rehearsed so this is gonna be a really memorable kiss for the girl this could

be as simple as walking from one venue to another and just

stopping and saying oh I forgot something and just leaning in and

kissing that girl the trick here you guys is that you want to find a time

where the girl is going to allow the kids to happen but won't necessarily

expect it so with this one you're going to want to be cognizant of where the

conversation is going to know when exactly to use this technique. All right

you guys, those are my five practical ways you can make any girl want to kiss

you. Make sure you let me know in the comments below which one of these you're

excited to try out and also while you're there, check out the free conversation

cheat sheet listed in the description box below. Thank you guys see in the next

video!

What's My Hogwarts House? - Duration: 9:39.

- Hello, hello, hello my friends.

Kaitlyn here and what's my Hogwarts House?

(upbeat electronic music)

So growing up, I was a huge Harry Potter fan,

like I read the first book when I was in 4th grade

and my best friend and I would play our own

like Harry Potter Hogwarts games where we were

like characters inside of the books.

One of the big things about Harry Potter is

kind of wondering what is your Hogwarts House?

And so everybody has like their own opinions

and you wanna take quizzes about what it is

and so I had always imagined myself as a Ravenclaw

because I went to William and Mary,

I was like top of my class and just always like

reading books and learning and stuff,

but when Pottermore first came out

and there was like an official Sorting Hat

quiz made by JK Rowling,

I took that and I was actually sorted into Gryffindor,

and I was like, oh, okay, well, I guess I can

see this because Hermione's in Gryffindor,

you can still be really smart and stuff,

that makes sense and then a couple years later

they relaunched Pottermore and had like

a lot more stuff on it and so I wanted to

go back and look and found that I couldn't

access my original account,

so I had to take the sorting quiz again.

I was like, that's fine, I'll just be Gryffindor again,

obviously, but when I took it, I was actually

sorted into Slytherin and I was like, what?!

How could I possibly be a Slytherin,

that just seems crazy to me.

Okay, so the Sorting Hat says about Gryffindor:

"you might belong in Gryffindor,

"where dwell the brave at heart,

"their daring, nerve and chivalry set Gryffindors apart."

Okay, makes sense, so what did it say about Slytherin?

"Or perhaps in Slytherin,

"You'll make your real friends,

"those cunning folk use any means to achieve their ends."

Generally, we think of Slytherin as like

cunning and ambitious, right?

We tend to take that negatively and I don't think

that JK Rowling intended for ambition,

cunning, resourcefulness, to just be a negative thing.

So what I wanted to do is to take a couple of quizzes online

including the Pottermore quiz again,

and definitively decide, with the internet as my witness,

what Hogwarts House I'm actually in,

because now people ask me what it is and I'm like,

I don't know anymore, but we're gonna do this

and we're gonna accept whatever the results are.

So, first quiz is a BuzzFeed quiz

because obviously BuzzFeed is the internet's

foremost place to go for quizzes, right?

"You've made it to Hogwarts, which means you've already

"bought a wand from Ollivander's.

"What material is at its core?"

Unicorn hair, of course.

"During the end-of-year exams,

"you notice that one of your classmates

"is using an enchanted quill."

I feel like I'd be somewhere between encouraging

the other student and then doing nothing,

just because sometimes I'm like,

uh, just leave it alone unless someone else,

you know, it's affecting me directly.

Let's go with encourage the other student (laughs).

That's probably the Gryffindor answer,

I think at heart I wanna be a Gryffindor,

is really what happens.

"You would be most hurt if a person called you"

(stammers) ignorant.

"You're locked in a duel with a skilled opponent.

"They fire an unknown spell at you, and you shout:"

This one seems like weighted to be Slytherin

as like evil, that's not cool.

Probably Expelliarmus, I mean,

disarm them, then they can't do anything.

"Which of these most accurately describes

"your relationship with your closest friends?"

Surrounding myself with people, no (laughs).

I mean, like I am wary around new people,

but that doesn't describe my relationship

with my closest friends, so no.

"Which of your skills are you most proud of?"

Definitely not to make new friends,

we all know I'm very bad at that,

so yeah, absorb new information.

"You're allowed a pet at Hogwarts:"

A cat, obviously.

"Choose a Deathly Hallow."

Don't you have to choose the Cloak of Invisibility?

Didn't we learn that the other two were like the bad ones?

"And finally: We know the Sorting Hat takes into account

"your preferences, so which Hogwarts House

"do you feel you identify the most closely?"

Let's do Gryffindor, cause that's the one I felt like it,

(bell dings) hey, okay, see,

see, now look at this.

Alright, so BuzzFeed says I'm Gryffindor.

I feel like I've taken this before

and I've gotten this like exact result, so,

who knows, who knows, this is why we're gonna take multiple

and two out of three is what we're gonna go for.

So the second one is gonna be this Time quiz.

It's like done by social scientists, yeah.

"Social scientist from Cambridge University

"to create a science-based quiz

"on which House best matches your personality."

"If there is an important reason to face something

"that scares me, I will face it."

Yeah, definitely, if it's important.

"I tend to manipulate others to get my way."

Mmm, yes?

"I've used flattery to get my way."

Not necessarily.

"If I'm worried or anxious about something,

"I will do or face it anyway," yeah.

I hate it, but I do.

I see myself as oh, definitely not disorganized or careless.

"I wouldn't want people to treat me

"as though I were superior to them."

I guess, yeah.

"I will do things even though they seem to be dangerous."

Well, it depends, like, if I have to do them, yes.

If I don't have to do them, not so much.

"I'm an ordinary person who is no better than others."

I mean, I like to think of myself as special.

Like I don't really think that I'm really

better than others, but somewhere in between.

"I tend to exploit others toward my own end."

I don't really think so.

"I have used deceit or lied to get my way."

Maybe, sometimes, five (laughs).

"I often push myself very hard when trying to

"achieve a goal," yes (laughs).

Hufflepuff, what?

I've never been sorted into Hufflepuff before.

"Your personality shows a high degree of friendliness

"and humility, which are valued among

"members of Hufflepuff House."

What the heck, why did Pottermore sort me into Slytherin?

Alright, let's see what Pottermore says.

Uh, we can't really do two out of three,

if we get a different answer on every one.

"Moon or stars," stars.

"Four boxes are placed before you.

"Which would you try and open?"

"The small pewter box, unassuming and plain,"

uh, this one, I don't know.

"If you could have any power, which would you choose?"

Invisibility, sometimes I already feel like I have that.

Power to change the past, ooh, I would be change the past.

"Which of the following do you find

"most difficult to deal with?"

Honestly I feel like maybe cold.

I get so cranky when I'm cold.

"How would you like to be known in history?"

Kaitlyn the Wise, Kaitlyn the Good,

Kaitlyn the Great, Kaitlyn the Bold.

Either be great or bold.

Feel like probably great is where I would go.

"Left or right?"

Uh, right? (bell dings)

Okay (laughs) see?

I've now been sorted into three different Houses.

So Pottermore definitively sorts me into Slytherin.

This is two different times that I've been sorted

into Slytherin, but the other two quizzes I took

had such a low percentage of Slytherin,

one was 0.3%, one was 17%,

but Pottermore says that I'm Slytherin.

Let's try one more, tie breaker, tie breaker quiz.

"You're making a PowerPoint presentation

"for a class project, you: take charge,

"organize everyone and end up doing

"almost everything (laughs)," probably.

"When you die, you hope to:

"have achieved success and traveled the world."

Mmm hmm, yeah, achieve success.

"Which of these entertainment professions

"most appeals to you?"

The screenwriter, the storyteller.

"How do you flirt with someone you like?"

Not very well (sucks teeth).

Probably trying to have a real, deep conversation,

which is why I'm bad at flirting.

"In high school, your favorite extracurricular was:"

I guess student club cause it was like dance.

"You get home from the corner store

"and notice you were a little undercharged."

Probably don't worry about it, like I feel bad about it,

but I would be like, yay, extra dollars.

"Your idea of a worthwhile summer vacation is:

"hanging out and catching up with friends back home," no.

"Parachuting or diving off cliffs," no.

I guess a good book cause not many of these sound great.

"You hear that a girl in your class just switched

"to writing the same essay topic you've been

"working on since September.

"Resent her from afar, but say nothing,"

(laughs) probably.

"How do you get your time alone when you want it?"

Yeah, I've found that I just like tell people,

"I need to have Kaitlyn time, bye."

"When planning a group trip, you are the one who:"

It's either the first or the last one.

I'm not very good at traveling,

so it's difficult to like say that I would be

the one who took the reins on travel plans,

let's be the backup leader, who knows,

I don't even know at this point.

(bell dings) Oh my gosh!

(laughs) Guys, "you would be a Ravenclaw."

Oh, man.

Holy cow, guys, alright.

I was all like this is gonna be the definitive,

definitive answer for my Hogwarts House

and all I have learned is that

depending on which quiz I take,

I get a different answer.

So, I don't know, I don't know anymore

what House I should be in.

My question for today is What Hogwarts House

do you think I should be in,

because wow, I wasn't expecting this.

I thought that maybe I would get Gryffindor on one

and then Slytherin on the other two,

so yeah, question for today, you've seen me

answer these questions, what do you think

my Hogwarts House is?

And you can also tell me yours in the comments

down below, but (groans) I'm so confused.

I don't (fake crying), I just want an answer.

I'm exhausted (laughs).

Remember that you can check me out on my other social media sites

and there's a card over here that if you click on

will take you to my website.

There's a form you can fill out

if you wanna submit a question or video topic

for me to make a video on or a blog on,

and so just check me out on all those places (laughs).

Plus, remember to subscribe and hit the notification bell,

so you know the moment there's new video.

And I am just gonna go contemplate my

Harry Potter world existence because I don't

understand anything anymore (laughs).

I'll see you guys next Thursday, bye.

(laughs) (upbeat electronic music)

How to get your FIRST paying client! - Duration: 5:03.

What's up, Rule Breaker?

Welcome back to YouTube channel.

This video here, it's all about how to get your very first paying client.

Getting your first paying client is a massive right of passage for any entrepreneur or freelancer.

This is the first step in the process towards making your business dreams come true.

Oftentimes, this goal is more of a mental one than it is a strategy one.

Because really, anyone can go out there and get a paying client for their services, but

there's a lot of mental stuff that we got to work through to make sure that you're going

to actually go out and do it.

So first, let's talk about the step-by-step strategy side and then we'll address the mental

state you need to get yourself into to make it happen.

Step number one is, you've got to craft your services.

So what are the basic service packages you want to offer?

It's a good idea to get as clear as possible about this and what you're planning on including,

so that you're not customizing things for every client.

And, you have a better idea of exactly what types of clients you want to work with.

Now when you're starting out, and you're brand new, and you have no experience, you're probably

doing to do a hodgepodge of different things, and that's totally okay.

It's exactly what I did and what I recommend for newer entrepreneurs.

But if you do have some experience in your field, you do want to hone in on those packages

because it makes you look more professional if your services are pre-packaged.

Step number two, which actually should probably come before step number one, let's be honest,

is you've got to hone your chops.

So if you are completely green, and I've been there, and you don't have any experience,

you've got to go out there and get some experience working with clients.

And the best way to do that is to get a few beta testers.

So when I was starting out in business, I wanted to write resumes for job seekers, and

I did a call-out on my Facebook profile, like my private, personal page, and asked people

if I could get volunteers to have me help them to revamp their resumes.

I did that for three people and then I put the prices up for my services, and I already

had a bunch of other people who had already inquired, and so I got paid clients from the

people who weren't able to snag one of the three free spots.

I did a very similar process when I started doing my copywriting services.

I found three clients for free and then I went and put my services up there, and I got

clients from referrals, based on the clients that I had beta tested with.

Step number three is you've got to make an offer.

Making an offer is giving people a reason to work with you now.

It's giving them an opportunity.

What I teach in my program, Yay for Clients, is I have my students make an offer to the

people who are already in their network.

So you want to know, "Who are people who I already know, who would be a great fit for

my services?"

And send them an email.

If you have an email list, you can actually do some email marketing around this.

If not, you can email people personally and make them a specific offer.

Tell them, "I'm going to work with like five people at this price point before I put the

price up to the full price, and I would love for you to be one of them."

That's making an offer.

Really, quite honestly, getting your first client can be really simple.

But, like I said, there's some mindset work we've got to do.

The first thing you've got to know is that, yeah, it's going to be scary to ask people

to pay you money.

You're not going to get your way around that, so stop waiting for it to feel okay, and waiting

to feel ready, and just go out and do it.

Give yourself a deadline, tell some people you're going to do it, have some accountability,

hire a coach, join a program like Yay For Clients, where we'll hold you accountable

to make sure it happens.

And then go get that client.

You have to put yourself out there, you have to feel vulnerable.

That discomfort that you feel is a good thing, it means you're on the right track.

Here's what I can promise you.

After you get this first client, you will have a boost to your confidence, and it will

make it that much easier to get your second, third, fourth, fifth, tenth, hundredth client.

What we're doing here is growing your comfort zone.

Remember, that you've got business dreams, you want to make a full-time income for your

business.

And in order to make that happen, you've got to start with that first person.

If all else fails, take my favorite piece of advice, which is, "Just fake it 'til you

make it."

Whenever I feel nervous, or scared, or I have a lack of confidence, I ask myself, "What

my future self would do, or what would somebody who felt good about this or had a lot of experience

doing this, how would they act in this situation?"

And then I act as if.

I promise you, that no one else knows how nervous you are, or inexperienced you feel.

We all have felt the same way.

In fact, I just did a video on how to overcome imposter syndrome and stop feeling like a

fraud.

I highly, highly recommend that you watch after watching this video.

But first, I would love to know in a comment below, "What kind of business are you starting,

my friend?

What are the services that you want to offer?"

I want to hear from you in the comments, so that I can come and cheer you on.

Then if you liked this video, don't forget to hit that like button down below, and subscribe

to my channel because I put out new videos just like this one every single week.

Aquaman, Fantastic Beasts 2, Godzilla, Hereditary, Wonder Woman 1984... [SUB ITA] - Duration: 9:06.

Hi guys it's Debbie! It's been such a long time. Recently I've been incredibly

busy, I returned home after living on the other side of the world for nearly a

whole year, I then left for a holiday and I started working at my new job the

morning after returning home with a schedule which currently keeps me away

from around 12 hours a day. While all of this was happening I underestimated what

was going on in the world of cinema. I just assumed I was missing some of

the terrible summer releases, maybe a couple of good trailers... Nothing I

couldn't catch up with in no time! But I also apparently forgot that Comic-Con

was happening and that also it's about that time of the year in which we start

to get the good trailers for this winter, so the first glimpse at the possible

film awards contenders. There were also new huge trailers every single day! I

would refresh YouTube and there would be stuff like the new Godzilla film with

Millie Bobby Brown from "Stranger Things", the new "Fantastic Beasts" trailer, dozens

of articles were popping up all over the place,

even Quentin Tarantino is filming his new movies starring everybody from Brad

Pitt to Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Tim Roth...

So as I'm aware it would be impossible to make little separate standalone

videos for everything I missed, today I would like to cover all whats been going

on in one video. First things first the "Aquaman" trailer was release. "Aquaman"

will star Jason Momoa as the title character: a half Atlantean, half human who

is called to intervene when a war breaks out between our world and the world

below the sea. When I first saw the trailer I was slightly put off, mainly

because of the huge CGI shark we see at the beginning of the trailer. But I

rewatched it a couple of times and it did eventually capture my attention. I've

spoken before about the current situation of superhero films, I'll leave the

link to my more in-depth video about that topic, but to sum it up I believe

that since world events such as 9/11, the war on terror and subsequent releases of

films which have been heavily influenced by these events such as "The

Dark Knight", many superhero films especially DC films have adapted to this

trend of dark elements, the grittier plot... or at least have attempted to. Some in my

opinion failed ("Suicide Squad", "Batman v Superman"), while others managed to find

the right compromise between the concept of fear, darkness and superhero epicness,

for example "Wonder Woman". But in the case of "Aquaman" it looks like there wasn't

the desperate attempt to follow along this trend. It's presented as a huge

superhero film, it has the big battle scenes, the big muscles, the big animals but

there was nothing specific in the trailer which made us draw an immediate

comparison with the darker twists that the latest DC films were taking. And I

think this is a sound decision. If you're not going to make a beautiful cohesion

of light and darkness, if you're going to just attempt to copy with something

like "Suicide Squad" or "Batman v Superman"... just don't do it! I can't talk too much

about the topic because there are so many other things to say in this video

but let's just say "Aquaman" is not my thing, but I really want to see it once

it's released. By the way speaking of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, the

"Dark Knight" trilogy, a couple of weeks ago it was actually the 10th

anniversary of the release of "The Dark Knight" with a whole week of appraisal

of the film, special IMAX screenings and remembering how this film heavily

influenced the world of cinema. And I've just discovered that next autumn, October

2019, will see the release of a Joker origin film, not by Christopher Nolan. It

will star Joaquin Phoenix in the title role and it's supposed to portray the Joker

in his younger years, presumably shining a light on how he became who he is,

although there's always been mystery surrounding his past and he is a

character who is famous for providing different versions when speaking about

himself. I knew nothing about this film, I am fearful about it but also curious.

Also speaking again of DC films and of "Wonder Woman" I was referencing earlier,

the San Diego comic-con also provided footage (which we weren't able to see) of

the second chapter in the "Wonder Woman" series which is "Wonder Woman 1984".

There's just so much stuff going on! The next big trailer that was released

was "Fantastic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald", the second chapter in the

"Fantastic Beasts" saga, all set in the Harry Potter world. When the first

chapter "Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them" was released a couple of years

ago I loved it! I found it a marvellous reintroduction to the world of Harry

Potter but without buying in the fans with excessive references to his

character, as in the end it has little to nothing in connection to him. I loved

Newt Scamander's character and I loved how the saga continued with the darker,

mature twist the latest Harry Potter films had taken, keeping in consideration

the age most of the fans were, but at the same time maintaining all the original

playfulness of the early Harry Potter chapters, which appeals to a younger

audience. I love discovering more about the

Wizarding World, a feeling I believe is common throughout all the fandom which

wants to know more about that world. And I feel that this upcoming

film will give us even more, bringing back old favourites such as Dumbledore,

this time during his early years of teaching at Hogwarts, the famous

"riddikulus" scene, Hogwarts itself, along with all the new characters continuing

on their journey. Johnny Depp is Grindelwald, an

interesting villain, Eddie Redmayne stars again as shy and quirky Newt Scamander,

it just looks great. Every time I see the magic in action I feel that special

connection so I can't wait to see this. Another huge trailer, I believe again

from Comic-Con is "Godzilla King of the Monsters", something I had never ever

heard of. I was only aware that there is an upcoming King Kong vs. Godzilla film

but apparently this is a huge film starring Millie Bobby Brown, mostly famous

as for her role as Eleven in "Stranger Things" and which actually reminds me a lot of her

character here, along with Sally Hawkins, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler... From the lenghty

exposition monologue which makes up most of the trailer we are informed that the

human race is... at risk. But then I'm confused. At first I understood that the

only things that could save the planet were these titans, these huge creatures

which have been hiding for centuries. But all this information I have in my

mind is very very confused because in the end the humans are going against

these creatures. I have no idea! The most impressive feature of this trailer is

actually the introduction to these creatures, to these titans, the

overwhelming size, this fearful reverence people seem to have towards them. First

impressions? It's going to be another "Great Wall", "Kong Skull Island" blockbuster.

Am I going to spend a fortune on tickets to go and see it? Absolutely. Then other

things... Timothée Chalamet is returning in another

emotional film, this time as the son of Steve Carell in "Beautiful Boy". In the

trailer we see Chalamet's character deeply struggling and we see this mostly

through the eyes of his father, who's trying to help him.

Even just this trailer is again the proof of Chalamet's acting talent, he is so

good and he definitely has a thing for

emotionally charged roles. I'm also pleased with Steve Carell he is such a

versatile actor, he goes from straightforward comedy to projects like

this. Then the first complete "Bohemian Rhapsody" trailer has been released, it is

the Queen biographical film, which I suspect will be a big name around Oscar

season. I made a video about the first teaser trailer and my opinion has not

actually changed after the release of this big trailer, it looks incredible. All

the shots are made to convey the staggering contribution the band gave to

the world of music, I love the Live Aid scenes mostly because it's my favourite

live performance ever and I was particularly positively surprised by

Brian May's character. Rami Malik's role as Freddie Mercury is really teasing us, I

love how the whole promotional campaign is allowing us to just see snippets of

his character to surprise us at the end. And what have I actually managed to see?

I finally got to see "Hereditary", it was one of the best and most frightening

horror films I have seen in a very long time and I currently consider it one of

the best films of this year. Everything you would expect by a horror film is

outdone by this movie, it defies any expectations and that is probably one of

the reasons why it's so frightening. This is one of films you do not want to hear

spoilers about. One film I still haven't seen but I desperately want to see is

"Sicario: Day of the Soldado". I loved the first "Sicario" film directed by Denis

Villeneuve and set in Juaraz, a city Mexico ruled by cartels. In the second

chapter we see the situation worsen as these cartels have a connection with

terrorism, so we see how their work aids the terrorist agenda and how the war

escalates to include parts of the Mexican government as the enemy. Josh

Brolin and Benicio Del Toro are back and I just can't wait to see it. This second

chapter is directed by Stefano Sollima, he is an Italian director and I think he

could have been an excellent choice because he has created works such as the

series "Gomorrah", which speaks about the Italian mafia, how it works in a very

dark grim manner. At this point I hope I have managed to catch up with everything

and my videos will resume as always. Let me know what has sparked your interest in the

latest weeks and if you'd like to see more movie-related

content make sure to subscribe and I'll see you soon, bye!
