Waching daily Jul 29 2018

Thanks bringing it to you on a Sunday baby how's everybody doing I hope you're

doing well in today's video we're gonna talk about illegal plants and illegal

fish and invasive species here in the United States okay so your boy Dee talk

a two week vacation and I want to just break it down on a personal this was

something that was very difficult for me to do I've obviously got a lot going on

but before I was leaving for vacation I was trying to prepare and get stuff done

to get out of town and I came across a horrific realization and that is this in

the United States not like you wonderful Europeans in other parts of the world

you get two weeks out of a 52 week year if you do the math on that answer I'm

going to show you the math here you do the math you take two weeks off in a

year divided by 52 that is less than 4% a year you get to take off and do what

you love less than 4% a year I get to spend undivided time with my wonderful

beautiful wife and two young girls who aren't getting any younger that said it

was hard for me because I'm in the middle of constructing greenhouse 2.0 oh

by the way it was a vacation however I was on the phone hustling everything I

needed to hustle to make sure the ball was still rolling to get water to get

permits and all the other BS I got going on behind the scenes that you don't see

getting green house 2.0 off the ground people in life don't get what they won

because they don't know what they want so if I want a fat green house and I

want it done before I don't know September or October I got

a hustle autumn on vacation with that said I'm an Ohio boy I'm from up near

Lake Erie my dad and mom actually had a boat up at Bay Point and I spent my

childhood up on Lake Erie catching walleye catching perch so to be heading

north to the cooler weather was fantastic for me so while I was up there

we actually headed north to what I believe is called press key Isle

I'm not exactly sure how you pronounce this beautiful island that juts out into

Lake Erie because my mother-in-law talks like this and when she has to pronounce

things they come out a little funny at times don't tell her I said that

so as you well no I'm a lover of the Great Lakes

and Lake Erie I actually spent a good deal of time up on Lake Erie as a kid

catching and eating yellow perch while it was up there I got to check out both

Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and I actually saw a press key Isle which is a

super fat little island on Erie PA that juts out into Lake Erie and it had some

amazing jungle Val growing wild there while I wish I would have gotten a lady

on camera you should have seen my lucky self climbing down into the water going

into the water and this broad on a kayak goes can I help you with something like

what was I doing swimming out while she was in a kayak so in today's video I

want to talk about invasive species I wasn't supposed to be doing work while I

was on vacation but as we were traveling from Lake Ontario over to Lake Placid we

were told by multiple groups of people to check out a place called the wild it

happened to be coincidentally invasive species Awareness Week at the place

called the wild so while I was on vacation and not working I busted the

camera out to take some great footage for you all of this place look it was 22

bucks it was worth every penny and I learned quite a bit and I feel it's my

job as someone who brings tens of thousands of aquarium plants into the

United States and then does disperse them throughout the wonderful continent

that we live in I think it's my job to bring awareness of some of the stuff

that is going on with invasive species I'm going to talk today about some fish

and I'm also going to talk today about some invasive aquarium plants because

aquariums were listed in part of literature I was reading about how some

of these invasive species get into our waterways particularly in upstate New

York but all around the United States and while you might be thinking where's

this going what does this have to do with my aquarium let me explain you see

the more aware we are of what species can have a negative impact on the

environment around us the more responsible we are the less potential

government regulation eliminating what could be awesome species being brought

into our great aquarium hobby here's what I'm talking about how about fad

species of plants that are straight-up illegal in a bunch of states how about

fish that are illegal in a bunch of states I want to give a huge shout outs

to our friends at Segrest farms they are always battling for the aquarium hobby

and the ability to bring in cool stuff to keep them as pets

and before I get into my top five plants and fish that are illegal or invasive in

a number of the United States I would like your wonderful feedback in the

comments there's way too many fish coming in invasive into this country

maybe there's some fish in your country that illegal that shouldn't be maybe

there's some fish that are totally illegal and should be maybe there's a

plant that's illegal in your state you're not sure why I remember there's a

play that's taking over a pond in your specific area please drop me a comment

and your feedback on how this is affecting certain things in your

aquarium hobby so while I was up at the wild deer Lake Placid super-sweet place

worth every penny of the twenty-two bucks one of the plants that was on the

invasive species list was a plant that I sell in a plant that I love it's called

Kabam by Carol Indiana and I just happened to have a really dope specimen

of it right here and now this is what really got the wheels turning for me

because this is a plant that I sell so I'm not trying to like hurt the natural

environment however this plant was on one of the

invasive species lists in upstate New York so I want to make a note to all the

you hobbyists like look one of the things they say that the plants can get

into the natural waterways and mess things up is by people dumping their

aquariums into a natural body of water you're not doing anything any good in

fact there's a pond around town here that actually is chocked full of

goldfish that people have just let go luckily it's contained but ya never dump

your aquarium into a natural body of water and the reason for that is this

this plant might take over and choke out some other species and that other

species I'm super generalizing this here if anybody has more details on this

please drop me a comment on it but this species might overtake another species

and that species that it overtook might be feeding into other species a plan

above it and so on and so on screwing up the food chain or whatever

not to mention like clogging waterways reducing fish breeding there's there's

so many different ways invasive species can hurt so never ever ever dump your

live aquarium plants or fish into a body of water and with that little cabinet in

the bottle rant I want to talk about my top five illegal aquarium plants and

in the US my number five in my top five illegal aquarium plants or fish in the

US this is not the plant because I cannot get my hands on this plant I want

to talk about loot Elia Wolvie folia I believe is how it's pronounced

I was not one to pronounce stuff properly this is not the plan

this isn't applied to taunt ovation suis actually sell this as a bulb so if you

buy a bulb you'll get something sprouted that might look like this or smaller but

you're just paying for a ball but anyway it kind of resembles this plant that's

why I have this upon d'etat Novation's out because butte Elia over folio

believers has pronounced is a fast growing plant I cannot bring into the

country asked me how I know how this plant is illegal United States actually

tried to bring it in and I found out later that it was not allowed to come

into the country because of its invasive NATO actually had to pay to have that

plant destroyed I'm not bitter about it but it is a really fat plant it's got

this really fat leaves on it obviously somewhere someone has done something

with this plant and this plant has taken over a waterway or something and it's

caused it to go on USDA illegal species it bringing in to the United States so

that plant is not getting through the USDA but a supercool plant I wish I

could have what is illegal and invasive in the USA who tell ya Walter folia my

number five and my top five illegal aquarium plants illegal fish can't bring

into the u.s. I want to talk about the red Arowana I don't know much to say

about this other than why on earth can't you bring a red arowana in the United

States I'm confused as to why this isn't allowed to happen this fish clearly

cannot live in any of the waterways and survive the winter in my humble opinion

in Florida I don't know maybe I'm wrong perhaps arowana are all over the place

in South Florida but I doubt it there are a lot of mixed in speeding

South Florida I don't think Arowana they're one of them

somebody please drop me a comment on why that red arowana is not allowed in the

United States but we can still get the plain Silver's and the dirty knees and

that sort of thing so I would love your feedback on why the red erawan is legal

shoutouts to that big beautiful Canadian beefcake man Joey for keeping a bunch of

red Arowana I think they're fat I don't know why they're illegal in the US

please drop me a comment my number three in my top five aquarium

plants or fish that are illegal in the United States I want to talk about a

species of high grass look I'm gonna be a little arrogant here ain't nobody

bringing in better hike rifles than your boy Dustin on dustinsfishtanks.com

straight up you can click the links around here and check out a super-duper

species Sunday Josh and I did on all the different types of high grappler that we

carry and why they are what they are and what they do there is one species of my

graph Allah however that we cannot bring into the United States has a great name

it's called high groffle of poly sperma poly means many sperm amines I don't

know maybe it means many sperm i groffle of poly sperma is an incredibly fast

growing also known as sunset high grow we can't bring sunset high grow high

grappa low poly sperm into the United States

I'm sure it's being sold somewhere around the US but I can't bring it in

the closest thing that I have to high Groff Allah poly sperma is this this is

sack of folio I believe right here and it's a similar look to this the sunset

get some more pink hues to it so high groffle a poly sperm on my number three

high grumbles you're fast grown plants I talked about him another video this is

just three stems of a high droplet of formas that we're selling so superfast

growing so I grabbed a low poly sperma I understand why this plant is illegal in

the US I've had people on the wholesale side ask me if I can get it for him the

answer is heck no because I'm not allowed to bring it in and I'd get in

trouble but I groffle a poly sperma I understand why it's a fast grower it's

like Rafa obviously it's growing invasive

somewhere in the US my number two with my top five invasive or illegal fish or

plants to bring to the US I am talking about this snakeheads

oh there's such skanky fish got a wax poetic with you a little bit my mom was

down there the other day when I was a kid in my bathroom my bathroom as a kid

I had a 20 gallon long aquarium and in that 20 gallon long aquarium I went and

I purchased not one but two snakeheads those are you not familiar with what a

snakehead it's got a real long cylindrical body it's got an amazing

mouth on it it's a super darkening fast like attacking

attacks almost like a rainbow fish you've seen how fast a rainbow fish is

snake hit the tack like that only with a bigger mouth and they get huge okay

these fish apparently are BRE in the wild in the rivers of Maryland I

want to say the Chesapeake Bay Area drop me a comment if you got more knowledge

on this because you're from that area but this snakehead totally illegal

totally should be illegal I read an article about a chef who is actually

trying to make them part of like a menu item to feed them to people but

snakehead super aggressive breeding in the u.s. eating other species that

obviously is doing harm to so snakeheads my number two in my top five illegal

aquarium fish or plants in the u.s. in my number one aquarium plant or aquarium

fish in the u.s. is you pick there's so many of them I want to know your

comments on this fish is illegal why is this fish illegal why can't I bring into

the US or this fish is illegal it should be illegal and here's why I've seen you

do XY and Z or this plants taken over this lake near me or whatever so drop me

a comment at what Fisher plant is illegal and invasive to you hit the like

button subscribe button notification button share button how many buttons can

I ask you to push and tank on later it's a great thing or what kind of what I

just say plants fish I don't know hang on

Ironman Dies & EVERYTHING CHANGES REVEALED? Soul Gem Power To Return Avengers In Avengers 4 REVEALED - Duration: 8:47.

so the infinity war blu-ray is coming out very soon globally so the Avengers

infinity war hits digital HD on July the 31st which is this coming week in 4k and

blu-ray and DVD comes on the 14th of August if you live in America for some

reason if you live in Europe and England it comes out on September the 3rd which

is very strange seeing as we got the Avengers infinity war movie released

before America so to get the blu-ray after them doesn't really make much

sense as accurate the ant-man and wasps comes out this week in England and most

of Europe and yeah we usually we get them first which is weird

so I'm Warstu if you're new this channel makes with subscribe we do

Marvel based videos all week long so this video is primarily based around the

infinity war blu-ray because it actually tells us and gives us some clues about

what's coming up in Avengers 4 so Avengers infinity war new footage has

popped online courtesy of Dubois movie trailers I think I say say it offers a

behind-the-scenes look at the climactic fight sequence featuring I amount

star-lord vitamin Doctor Strange Drax and the even more powerful mad Titan

Thanos in action you know that was the kind of the bit where he didn't kill

Tony Stark and he let him survive so this bits actually really important so

the footage starts with obviously the directors and the end Joe Russo explain

how the battle in the film starts with either a stunt team or VFX team and also

shows the making of the scene featuring Ironman and fast in which Tony Stark's

asks the mad Titan how do you know his name obviously his name being Tony Stark

and ends the clip showing the actual fight sequence including the theatrical

cut of the Avengers infinity war when you see it what it looks like in the

green screen and how they're actually acting out compared to what we got to

see in the cinema it is absolutely mental now yes this is

the same scene where they literally nearly took the Infinity Gauntlet off on

us and then star-lord got mad and messed

everything up so the bonus material will be included within

the blu-ray which is pretty cool but it does give a lot of context away for the

Infinity stones because yes everyone can think they know what they actually do

but Marvel's actually given us a definition of what the stones actually

do which is interesting and one of them might give a clue of how the Avengers

well at least the Avengers that got sucked into soulstone actually come back

so by definition the space stone allows the users to travel across any dimension

which obviously means if you have the space stone you can travel anywhere in

the world you could in theory travel to the Dark

Dimension the quantum realm I guess and places like that although it doesn't say

that I guess why it's what it means by different dimensions it's a bit unclear

the time stone allows you to see the future and alter the past which will

come into play and obviously Doctor Strange in the movie when he went

forward in time fourteen million six hundred thousand and eighty times I

guess that's what he was doing there do realities Stone allows you to bend

reality at your will which realistically Thanos could have raised half the

population and just made his own reality so yeah that one's a bit strange so the

Power Stone allows you to destroy anything allows you destroy anything

which is pretty interesting so it literally just is power the mind stone

allows you to create an older consciousness which yes is linked of the

Ultron and how vision was formed that's pretty cool but the big major news is

they actually given us some context some actual information guys of what the soul

stone actually did so you can control a life and their so the soul stone is mega

Opie officially saying that you can control life and death which literally

means you could do anything so in the movie fannish travel to a planet Volm or

an exchange gomorrah's life for the said soul stone or soul gem nevertheless the

actual purpose of the soul stone wasn't made clear until now and I can see why

because obviously they wanted you to go to the cinema watch it by the blu-ray or

the digital download so you could get more answers and watch the bonus

extended stuff so you could get more context so we know the truth

that with the soulstone you can control life and death surely this is the key to

reversing Thanos snap and bring him back everyone from the life obviously being

dead so never less the Russo brothers have T's it comes with a great cost what

does this cost gonna be is it gonna be Tony Stark dying is it gonna be Captain

America because in order to reverse everything of what happened with the

soulstone someone's gonna have to be sacrificed in order for them to truly

possess the power of said soul stone which is interesting so obvious

the most obvious option would be the surviving Avengers will take place with

the deads who the dead Avengers even are not

really dead that would become obvious so after the ant-man and wasp

was revealed and came out obviously it comes out in Europe and UK this week so

careful spoilers if you don't want to know so basically in the ending of that

we are introduced to a time vortex just before Scott Lang is trapped in the

quantum realm and that'll be how they travel to different parts of the MCU

history and made a video yesterday about how I think is actually gonna be

traveling to memories rather than an actual destination so I will link that

videos somewhere in this video but that's kind of interesting so perhaps in

Avengers 4 this will allow them to fight back against fan asks but only when he

is defeated can the soul stone be used to restore all those who fail because

remember there's a lot of people fail Nick Fury spider-man Maria Hill but did

Pepper Potts she could have died as well which is interesting so that said there

was an interesting thing that's said they came out and said which i think is

gonna be the forefront for the actual movie because as you know the main

styled Avengers is Tony Stark I know everyone likes to not say it but they

have said that Peter dying in his arms is going to change Tony Stark forever

of course the Russo brothers wouldn't elaborate further as they didn't want to

supply all Avengers for yet they keep saying things they're like I don't want

to I don't want to give you spoilers but we've got advertising movie so I'm gonna

keep telling things that's gonna make you talk about it but given that the

playboy philanthropist is nursing a whole lot of guilt already not just from

Civil War but from his weapon dealing days you can bet we'll be seeing a very

eventual Iron Man in the next sequel so it's hard to elaborate what they mean by

that when they say it's gonna change Tony forever so maybe we're gonna see a

completely different Avengers for version of Iron Man Iron Man's gonna be

defeated obviously because he's lost half the universe he failed he vanished

owned him he knew fannish was coming ever since 2012

ever since the New York but he couldn't do anything about it so I presume what

it's gonna happen in Avengers 4 is he's gonna build a new suit he's gonna build

his own Infinity Gauntlet with the help of the dwarf King maybe and it'd be

something like that but it's gonna be interesting because obviously we know

spider-man's coming back because far from home is set months after so we know

literally everyone's going to return but not everyone will return most people

will return but I just think it's interesting that with the soulstone you

can control our life and death so guys who do you think it's going to be

sacrificed I think they're gonna sacrifice I don't know it could be lit

anyone Captain America would be the obvious one but I don't like the it's

hard one because obviously Robert Downey jr. and Chris Evans contract is up after

Avengers 4 so unless they both three sign which Chris Evans has clearly said

multiple times he wants to go into other projects and being with the Marvel

movies was holding him back from doing other work I think it's quite clear that

sorry guys Captain America is gonna die in this movie so anyway guys please like

subscribe and comment I will be doing a blu-ray giveaway I should be hooking up

and teaming up with Marvel to give away some blu-rays for this movie hopefully

but it doesn't come at my country till September so I'm not sure when I can

actually get hold on but I will keep you posted on my up and coming and then just

for videos as I do a lot of them I will be dropping a veteran video later on

tonight about some updates about when the trailers coming as I keep getting a

lot of questions so like always guys please like subscribe and comment as it

does help push the channel as we are trying to hit 100,000 subscribers by the

end of 2019 which is a long way away but 70,000 away is quite a big number so

guys keep smashing that subscribe button and like button and it will catch you in

another video very soon catch ya later

Misrepresenting Mental Health | 13 Reasons Why - Duration: 18:37.

Hey…

It's Knowing Better.

Don't adjust your… whatever device you're watching this on.

It's me, live and in stereo.

No gimmicky titles, no thirteen title cards, and this time, no guests.

Get a snack, settle in, because I'm about to tell you why this show is the worst thing

to happen to mental health awareness in recent memory.

13 Reasons Why, welcome to your tape.

This video is brought to you by Dashlane.

Thirteen Reasons Why is a teen drama on Netflix that has sparked a lot of controversy since

the first season came out last year.

It covers sex, suicide, mental health, substance abuse, you name it.

Their stated goal in the trigger warning which precedes the first episode is to-

Start a conversation.

If you've been following me on Twitter, you know that I have a deep seeded hatred

for this show and the way that it glorifies mental health issues.

And specifically suicide.

The show also gets a lot wrong about high school in general, which is weird considering

what a universal experience that is.

You'd think the producers would know what high school is like.

We could spend hours discussing plot holes, like how adults don't seem to exist in this

universe at all.

Or how the cliques are incredibly well-defined, there are no jocks in band, there are no band

geeks in yearbook…

Think about your high school experience, was anybody just one thing?

We could also talk about silly nitpicks like how Jessica's dad is in the Air Force, but

nobody else's parents are – do they live 200 miles away from the nearest base or something?

How is he the only one?

Or how about the fact that Tony thinks cassette tapes are a superior medium.

You're still on the old media, huh?

So much better.

In what universe is that true?!

You can make the case that vinyl sounds better, we could have that debate, but audio cassettes?

C'mon.

No, we're not here to nitpick those things, I'm not a film critic.

If you are interested in sort of thing, as well as some of the more technical aspects,

I recommend this video by I Hate Everything…

I really need to figure out what's causing that.

We're here to talk about the broken psychology and inaccurate depictions of mental health

in the show.

We are going to- Start a conversation.

For those of you unfamiliar with the show, the basic premise is that Hannah Baker kills

herself and leaves behind several audio tapes with thirteen reasons explaining why she did

it.

The set gets passed from person to person until they reach Clay, the main protagonist

and audience surrogate.

We listen to the tapes and learn things along with him and experience the various flashbacks

just as he does.

It was actually a pretty clever narrative device to have him crash his bike in the first

episode – if he has a scar, it's currently happening; if he doesn't, it's a flashback.

In the beginning of season two, Hannah reappears to Clay, not in a flashback, but in current

time.

So you talk now?

Apparently.

There are only two possible explanations for this.

A, Hannah is a ghost, in which case I have some rather strong opinions which I've discussed

before.

You don't get to come back and watch your epic revenge fantasy unfold.

But since Executive Producer, Selena Gomez, described the show as "so real" we can

assume that's not the case.

Which leaves us with option B, Clay has schizophrenia.

It's somewhat eluded to during season one that Clay had a mental health issue that required

medication and therapy in the past, but we're never given any context, maybe they're leaving

that for season three.

Yes, there's going to be a season three.

Schizophrenia usually doesn't present itself until your early- to mid-twenties, so it's

a little odd that he's showing symptoms already.

There are two main symptoms of schizophrenia.

Delusions are a false belief about reality – everything from that person is a secret

robot replacement, to the government is run by reptilian shapeshifters, to all of this

is just a computer simulation.

This is just a symptom of schizophrenia, if you happen to believe any of these, that doesn't

mean you have schizophrenia – but you might.

Clay doesn't appear to have any delusions, but he is experiencing hallucinations, seeing

or hearing something that isn't actually there.

Hallucinations come in many different forms and literally affect every sense.

A good example of a tactile hallucination is when you feel your phone vibrate in your

pocket but when you look- I'm actually convinced that it does vibrate because sometimes when

I look at my phone I'll see the notification disapp- anyway.

Most hallucinations that we're concerned with are either auditory, so you're hearing

voices, or visual, you're seeing things.

Clay is experiencing both, an audiovisual hallucination of a girl who isn't really

there, which is rare, but not impossible.

The problem with this depiction is how he responds to and interacts with the hallucination.

Firstly, hallucinations are usually quick or fleeting – they appear for a moment and

then hide behind a tree or corner when you try to get a better look at them, and when

you go to investigate, they're gone.

Secondly, they're usually scary.

Nobody is hallucinating that they're on a date with a supermodel or Magic Mike.

It's usually somebody's trying to murder you or watching you.

This is what causes idiots who are high on salvia to run into traffic or jump out of

the window of their second story apartment.

Because thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, you don't know that you are hallucinating.

You might realize it afterwards and have a laugh while putting the video up on youtube,

you might even know that you're going to hallucinate, which is why you set up the camera

in the first place.

But in the moment, it is real.

Your brain is telling you that what you're seeing or hearing is actually happening.

So Clay realizing that she isn't real and still having full conversations with her is

an inaccurate depiction of a hallucination.

Earlier in the first episode, she appears in the background or he mistakes people for

her, but she always disappears in a flash because hallucinations are fleeting.

It even gets in the way of his relationship with Skye.

What the f- At first I wanted to applaud the show for

its depiction of teenage sex… ugh it sounds creepy when I say that.

The typical Hollywood trope is that all it takes for a teenage boy is a strong breeze.

Open the window and breeze rolls in and I- But in reality, the opposite is just as common

and they go out of their way to show that.

I like the way you look, I like you.

Really?

Because your body is kinda saying the opposite.

This is Psychogenic Erectile Dysfunction, meaning it's psychological in origin rather

than biological.

These kids are way too young to be having biological problems in that regard.

They're way too nervous, their mind is elsewhere, they're hallucinating.

It really does happen to a lot of guys, your girlfriend isn't lying to you.

But then they throw it all out the window and have the creepy incel ruin his pants in

a movie theater.

What's wrong?

Sorry!

Skye is Clay's girlfriend in season two, at least when he's not obsessing over Hannah,

and she's your typical goth gf.

Skye has Bipolar Disorder.

A person without this disorder goes through normal ups and downs, but it's much more

pronounced in a person who is bipolar.

They go from a deep depression to mania.

Most people understand what depression is, we've all likely experienced it at some

point.

But mania is a little more difficult to wrap your head around.

People going through a manic state feel invincible, not physically, obviously, but they feel great

and like nothing could ever ruin this.

So they engage in risky behavior, like gambling, drug use, and sex.

Now, I'm not a clinical psychologist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night,

so I was able to diagnose her with bipolar disorder during this scene…

We hang out.

What does that mean?

I never know… is that slang for sex?

Mom!

I just hope you're being careful.

Oh c'mon, no adult in that room would not know what just happened there.

It's later confirmed to the audience that she has that disorder while she's at an

in-patient mental health resort.

Look are they sure it's bipolar?

I mean it feels like kind of a blurry line between someone being manic and someone being

in a really good mood.

But I would also argue that she has Borderline Personality Disorder, which is often co-morbid

with Bipolar, meaning that they occur at the same time.

Having Borderline Personality Disorder means that those ups and downs are much more unstable

and sudden.

Skye goes from a manic episode to an incredibly depressed episode in a matter of minutes and

then goes home to self-harm.

Along with Minecraft, Skye also does Non-Suicidal Self-Injury, or NSSI.

More commonly known as cutting.

Then what's that?

It's what you do instead of killing yourself.

There are three main reasons why people self-harm and in order to discuss them, we need to talk

about conditioning.

I hope you paid attention during your Intro Psych class.

If you want to get someone to do something there are two ways to go about it, with a

reward or punishment.

Though in psychology, we call it reinforcement and punishment.

And then there are two types of each of these, positive and negative.

Positive and negative don't mean good or bad in this context, it means you are getting

something or taking something away.

So a positive reinforcement is something we all understand, you're getting something

good as a reward.

Positive punishment is also something we all understand, though the name sounds a bit contradictory.

You are getting a punishment.

A negative reinforcement is when something bad is taken away, maybe a siren turns off

when you stand in a certain place or a headache goes away after you take medication.

The behavior is reinforced by stopping a bad thing from happening.

A negative punishment on the other hand is when you take away something good.

Like being grounded or banned from a video game.

So now that we have that covered, why do people self-harm?

Positive reinforcement is unfortunately a big contributor.

Someone who is feeling neglected will self-harm and are suddenly showered with care and attention.

It's an attention-seeking behavior in the same vein as Munchausen Syndrome.

The person obviously needs medical attention and mental health care, but that's also

why they did it in the first place, so it's kind of a Catch-22.

Positive punishment is somewhat more rare.

Someone will physically punish themselves for some moral failing or wrongdoing.

This is common in people who suffered abuse as a child and no longer have a parental figure

to dole out punishment, so… they do it themselves.

Skye, as far as I can tell, doesn't fall into this category.

But negative reinforcement does seem to fit the bill.

She's taking away the emotional pain she's feeling and replacing it with physical pain.

As soon as she feels a depressive state coming on, she goes home and cuts herself to stop

it.

She doesn't want to die, people who cut don't do it with suicidal intent.

It's the just pain that they're after, thus the name.

Unfortunately, well over half of people who self-harm eventually attempt suicide.

So if they tell you it's nothing to worry about, it's not nothing.

Hannah commits suicide before the first episode, she didn't self-harm or show symptoms of

any mental health issues before that.

But two of the thirteen causes that she lists involve sexual assault; one of them happens

to her and the other to a friend while she is hiding in a closet.

Now, I've heard criticisms of Hannah's response to these assaults and, especially

in the case of her friend, felt it myself.

Why didn't she do anything?

Whether it was trying to stop it, or screaming, or calling the cops, she could have done something,

right?

To respond to that criticism, we need to talk about your fight or flight response.

Your nervous system has multiple parts and subdivisions – it's not just your brain.

Your brain is the Central Nervous System or CNS, but you also have a Peripheral Nervous

System, which branches off from your spinal cord and is never abbreviated.

And it can make decisions and perform actions independently from your brain.

It's not like a separate person or anything, it's very basic decisions.

Have you ever touched a hot stove and pulled your hand back before you even felt that it

was hot?

That's your Peripheral Nervous System.

The Peripheral Nervous System also has two parts, the Somatic, which controls movement

and sensory input, and the Autonomic, which regulates your physiological functions.

The Autonomic Nervous System is what regulates your arousal level, through, yet again, two

systems.

The Sympathetic Nervous System ramps you up for your fight or flight response, while the

Parasympathetic calms you down for rest and digest.

So what happens when you encounter something stressful, like a lion or your friend being

assaulted?

The amygdala is activated, followed by the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal glands,

releasing epinephrine, also known as adrenaline – which along with raising your heart rate

and affecting your senses, also slows down your perception of time so you can react more

quickly and decide whether to run away or stand your ground.

But that doesn't happen with Hannah does it?

Because fight or flight is an incomplete understanding of the available options.

It's actually fight, flight, or freeze.

Which is the most common response in modern humans.

It's the deer in headlights.

You don't know what to do, so instead of making a decision, you do nothing.

Do Something!

Hannah doesn't know if running away will cause more harm or if screaming and fighting

back will cause more harm.

So she freezes – whether she's the victim or a witness.

So at least her response is consistent across both situations.

Now let's talk about the suicide.

Is it possible we can be done with all this?

I mean it's been over a week, isn't healthy to like move on?

The school is right to be concerned.

Knowing someone who commits suicide increases the likelihood of friends and family to commit

suicide by 65% or more.

It's called Suicide Contagion and it can happen in a local cluster or even nationally

when it's someone like a celebrity.

So the school is reacting appropriately to try and get out ahead of any copycat suicides.

Which is exactly what happens anyway.

Alex attempts to kill himself by shooting himself in the head, which doesn't work.

When, in reality, it works 97-99% of the time.

This is in contrast to Hannah, who kills herself by cutting her-

Whoa whoa, I'm not showing that scene are you crazy?!

I also disagree with the show showing that, it was pure shock value and nothing more.

Anyway, in reality, cutting your wrists only works 1.2-6% of the time.

So it's flipped for some reason.

Not to mention the show and various other media depictions make it look like it only

takes a few seconds or minutes.

When in reality it takes 4-6 hours, if it works at all.

Your body is incredibly resilient to injuries like that, remember that scene from Saving

Private Ryan?

Whereas gunshots to the head in the show and elsewhere, sometimes don't work.

I have my own tin foil hat theories on why the show flips the success rate, but I'll

let you discuss that down below.

You have a cane and a scar.

Where?

Where is the scar?

I get that they might not have wanted him to have some disfiguring scar that they'd

have to apply before filming every day, but they had no problem with doing that for Clay

in the first season.

Later, they try to say that the scars are under his hair, which he grew out, which is

supposed to be the narrative device this season to differentiate between flashbacks.

So let's try and figure this out together.

He isn't Phineas Gage, he didn't shoot up and through, that would be horribly disfiguring

and we would see that.

In fact, there doesn't seem to be any frontal lobe damage at all.

He also didn't hit his occipital lobe in the back of the brain, since his vision seems

to be intact.

The temporal lobes are the next candidate, but this would also damage his hearing and

speech, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Which leaves us with the parietal lobe, which controls sensory and motor function, and given

his limp and later erectile issues, makes the most sense.

But he also has another plot-convenient symptom.

The bullet went up and in and out of my skull and into the wall, that's what they told

me.

You don't remember?

No, I don't remember anything of like a month before that.

Okay forgetting that up and in an out doesn't entirely make sense-

That's not how amnesia works.

That's not how any of this works.

There are several different types of memory and therefore several different types of amnesia.

There's Implicit Memory, which is unconscious and pertains to things like language and skills,

and then there's Explicit Memory, which is conscious and contains two parts.

Because everything so far contains two parts.

Firstly, there's Semantic Memory, which is facts, definitions, and dates and stuff.

And secondly, Episodic Memory, which is events and experiences.

They don't always have to be autobiographical, if you watch a movie or hear a story from

a friend, that's logged as an Episodic Memory.

Whether it happened to you or not.

It would seem based on his recollection, that he's lost his Autobiographical Episodic

Memory.

If you lose your memory for the past, that's Retrograde Amnesia – everything from before

the damage or disease.

You can also lose the ability to form new memories, or Anterograde Amnesia, which is

what happened to Drew Barrymore in a movie that shall not be named, usually caused by

damage or disease to the subcortical structures, most notably the hippocampus.

It's usually all or nothing when it comes to memory loss from physical damage to the

brain.

You can psychologically repress a memory for a traumatic event, so I can understand not

remembering the actual shooting itself.

But not remembering only a plot-specific month before the attempt is basically impossible.

With amnesia, he'd probably forget a ton of other things too, like people's names,

his school schedule, or his facebook password.

I need to remember.

Unless he had Dashlane…

Dashlane not only stores and secures your passwords, but it generates a unique password

for every website and account you use, including social media, stores, and banks.

You don't need to remember anything, Dashlane auto-fills the login and password fields for

you.

And just in case you suffer Global Amnesia, it remembers and auto-fills your birthday,

phone number, and address too.

If you thought I was going to show you that information, you should know better.

You can get started for free by heading over to dashlane.com/knowingbetter and save yourself

hours of time changing and remembering your passwords.

Likewise, you can save 10% on a premium membership, which saves an unlimited number of passwords

on more devices than you currently own, by using the code "knowingbetter" within

35 days of signing up.

You'll also be supporting the channel when you do.

The show gets a few things correct, but it also gets a lot of things wrong.

In order to depict some of these disorders, they have to crank it up to 11.

Showing a more accurate mild bipolar disorder wouldn't really come across the screen that

well.

But in these exaggerations, they lose a lot of the nuance of human behavior, which can

lead people to dismiss actual mental health issues as not that bad.

If 13 Reasons Why is the standard you are holding people up to when thinking of disorders,

then very few people have disorders that need addressing.

Not everybody with schizophrenia hallucinates dead people.

The creators wanted to start a conversation, and now we can have that conversation, because

now, you know better.

Wow, look at all these new patrons!

Including my newest legendary patron, another Eric!

I can barely fit them anymore.

If you'd also like to climb into this clown car that is the end card, head on over to

patreon.com/knowingbetter.

What did you think of the show?

Let me know down below and don't forget to… uhhh…

I… uhhh… hmm.

It'll come to me, just gimme a…

Looking For A Real Estate Partner - Duration: 8:01.

Hey friends, I am on the hunt. I'm looking for my next real estate partner. So, I

thought I'd shoot a video and kind of share with you what I'm looking for in a

partner and if you're not that partner, I'm going to share with you how you can

actually go get one yourself. Because it's the secret to buying as much real

estate as you want and creating a win-win for everybody.

From time to time I get these comments from some of you out there on YouTube

that are saying, "Kris, this is so cool that you're providing all this training

and knowledge and education but what if I really don't want to, like, learn how to

do real estate? Could I just partner with you? Like, what

would that look like? So, I decided to shoot a little video for you guys today.

And this will apply to every one of you because only a few of you may actually

want to go into partnership with me and I'll explain what that looks like.

But for every else, everyone else, you might have seen some of the other videos.

We're actually talking about, you know, how you can leverage partnerships

beneficially because in real estate, 1 + 1 = 11. And what I mean

by that is, real estate takes some different pieces and you might not have

all the pieces it takes to do real estate. So, let's talk about what is a

partner in the first place. When you do the game of real estate, there are some

assets that you need. You're going to need some money, doesn't have to be yours.

You're going to often need credit, doesn't have to be yours. You need

someone to jump in and actually manage the process, doesn't have to be you. And

then you also need someone that can actually get in and actually do the

actual work. Whether it's repairing something, property managing something or

anything like that. And again, doesn't have to be you. So, where I really created

this financial freedom for myself, as I realized, I don't have to have the money,

and I don't have to have the credit. Someone else already does. What I need to

have is the expertise. And the team that can actually do the real estate. So, if

just for a moment here, if I were to kind of drop a wheel of what this looks like

and divide it into four equal parts, we need money, we need credit, we need a

manager and the last thing that you need is the laborers, okay? These are the 4

things that you really need to make real estate work. You need money, you need

credit, you need a manager and you need the laborers. So, I got into the game and

I figured out on my first couple of deals the hard way that I could learn to

do it very profitably. My father-in-law checked in after a couple years. He was

super skeptical at first but after a couple years, he saw that is about to do

my next deal he said, "You know what you got to tell me what you're up to." And I

basically said, "Well, this is my, this is what I do. I put up the money, I put up

the credit, I manage the whole thing and I'm the laborer. I was everything in

the beginning. And what I did is I created

track record. I had all that profitability, my father-in-law saw that.

He said, "You know what, Kris? What if we were to actually go in on doing some

deals together?" And this is what we came up with. My funding partner, Matt, he put

up the money and the credit, I put up the management and the labor. And even then

it didn't mean that I had to do the labor, although I did from time to time.

And what that amounted to is a 50/50 partnership. So, that's really what a

partner is. And a lot of you on YouTube, reach out and say, "Kris, how can

i partner with you?" Well, the only partnerships that I take on are people

that say, "Well I've got money and I've got credit." And then, "Kris, will you find

the deals? Do all of that? Have your team do all the labor and work and will you

manage the whole process?" Now, pause right now. If you're watching this video, you're

like, "Should I keep watching this video if I don't got money or credit?" Yes, I

want you to learn exactly what I'm doing because you can do this too. I've helped

countless people do this and that's why I'm so excited about this video for you

guys. Now, for me, the requirements when I actually work with a partner is

generally, we're putting 20% down on a property. I'm finding the properties and

the best parts around the entire world, right? Right now in America, I've got 4

different hot markets that I'll go into. I'll find undervalued properties, I'll

find properties with equity, I'll find properties with really great cash flow.

And generally, I'm looking for properties that have a 20 plus percent R-O-I. Now, I'm

good at finding those. If you buy you the way we want to know how to get your

hands on those, you should actually check out my website and that's a great

opportunity for you to actually learn how you can get your hands on my excess

inventory. But that inventory is what I use for me and my partner's. We're out

there buying real estate. I do have extra inventory I can hook you up with that. Go

to the website to learn how but generally, my partner is, what they'll do

is they'll put up 30 to $50,000 on a home and so, they'll put up

the money. If it requires credit, they'll use their credit. If they don't have

credit, we'll actually rent somebody's credit. But basically, they're going to be a

50% owner for putting that up. And then what ends up happening is I'll find the

deals, I'll do the work, I'll coordinate everything from the finding and the

fixing up and the management and then renting out, the loan process, everything.

Everything gets done. And then my partner and I we split everything, 50/50. Now, I

have enough partners that I can tell you that there are some people out there

that say, "Hey, you're getting superior returns, you're getting superior profits.

I don't really want to come in and do the work. Let's team up together."

You can do the same thing. If you actually mentor with me in my system

and actually learn how to do this. I can supply you the properties, you can go

bring them to other people and you can actually do the same thing that I'm

doing or I might have some of you watching this video where you're like,

"Well, Kris I know you only take on a handful of clients every single year but

what would it take if you wanted to partner with me?" Well, generally, I only

work with people that have the ability to buy at least two or three properties

right out of the gate. Usually, that means having $100,000 on up. And then we sit

down and we talk and we see if there's room for the right kind of partnership.

Do our ideals line up, we review my track record, your track record and if we come

together, boom. We're off to the races, were out doing real estate and it's

awesome. Basically, how it works? This is the part that everyone always wants to

know? So, what happens next? Once I have a partner that I start working with, where

we go from there is pretty fun. I'm going to get my partner or the other credit

partner pre-qualified. So, I want to make sure the credit is lined up, we want to

make sure that the money is lined up and then I send my team and we go out and we

find a great deal. Again, you watch these video the same thing you can do in your

backyard or you can go to my website and get the excess inventory. I take those

deals, I present on my partner and then I give

them a performance, a Performance. Something that basically says, "Here's all of our

research on this property. This is why we believe this is a good property. We go

through it together, create a comfort level for it and if we both agree this

is a good deal that we want to move forward on", my partner puts up the money,

goes through the loan process and then from there, I take over everything else.

Once the property is actually purchased, then my funding partner, that put up the

money and credit, their job is pretty much done I'm going to basically keep them in

the loop. Me and my team handle the day-to-day and we're off basically

buying real estate, managing it and I'm going to come knocking on my partner's door,

especially in the next year or two and say, "Knock, knock, this property, we can

refinance it and take our money out of it and keep the property so we can go

buy another one, same investment two properties or guess what? Might be 3,

4 years, it's time to sell that property.

Let's parlay it into our next couple of properties. And here's the goal, if I can

help a partner start with 2 or 3 properties, the goal is over 10 years, to

turn it into a dozen properties. The eventual goal, have them paid off, have

the portfolio growing, how have a producing a killer R-O-I. And I pretty much

kick trash out of all the different financial planners basic 3 to 5%

return products with what I've been doing your real estate. Whether the

markets going up or down. Now, as a bonus, I want to share this with you, you can

learn how to do this. You can take some of my courses, you can go to the website

and learn. I've got a way to specifically tutor you and how to do this.

Partnering is one of my favorite ways of saying, "I got some resources, you got some

resources let's put our heads together." And guess what? Now, we can both be better

off because neither of us necessarily wants to do the other person's part. So,

friends, that's partnering 101. I hope that was helpful for you and I've

got a special resource that I want to give you right now.

So, I've got some special resources set aside whether you want to partner with

me or whether you want to learn how to go find partners. Go ahead and click over

the website and I'll share exactly what that looks like.

C63s AMG FACELIFT | The YouTuber event by Mercedes - Duration: 14:44.

Hi everyone from the airport Paderborn, Germany

I got an invitation by Mercedes-AMG

to drive the new C63 AMG facelift

the 2018/2019 model

and right behind me you can see the cars already

Here is basically the reception

where we just arrived

Oli is already here and Franz as well

and there will be more YouTubers and bloggers but I'm not sure who will be here

we will see later who is also here

and here are the cars lined up

nice in position, we can choose any car

and from here we will drive to the Bilster Berg

where the real action will happen

there we can test the car on the race track

I'm happy, because I already know the Bilster Berg

it's a well known track

Personally I love that track

the C63 is a nice car

it has lots of new features that I really want to try

we will see more of that later!

it's nice that Oli brought his pre-facelited C63

and here you get a first impression of the differences of both cars

the front has many new changes

Something that I really like is that the new models have the Panamericana front-grill

Let's have a look at the rear and the diffusor

the pre-facelift and the facelift

you can see that there is a big difference

it is way bigger

I really love it

you are late again!

why?

as always

Yes, oh I see

you got me

I had to swap cars

which one do you take?

this one

The coupé?

Yes, 5107

you have the convertibel?

I took the convertibel, because I thought it is such a nice weather

are you allowed to drive with roof down?

?

Did you ask to make the roof down?

why should I?

I'm not sure

that's what it was made for

Actually yes,

of course it is not allowed on the race track

there will be other cars

Yes you are right, this is actually the best car for today

but I'm not a convertibel fan

Me neither, but once I get the opportunity to drive without a roof...

that's a good idea!

I can't wait, let's go!

Convertibel, roof down, drive and enjoy the sun!

okay everyone is here

stop tattling now, my camera is on

we can go inside and see what's in there.

look, they printed AMG on the ground

all cars are lined up here

I'm excited how this look like

and here we have

the sedan

what do you wanna do the most?

Driving!

the track of course!

you don't know the track?

No I've never been to Bilster Berg

oh Oli is a Bilster-Berg-virgine today

not only today...

I don't comment on that

damn you!

Franz was already here and me too

but I think after one or two laps you know the track

the track is only 3km short

it is easy to remember

yes, very very cool!

we can hit the gas in a moment right?

but first, let's eat! There is food over there

let's do it

I have nice pictures of a photo love-story of those two

we got seperated into groups and my first step is driving on the track

I have to warm-up a bit

I need to get a helmet first which is mandatory

that's what I do first

we are both factory drivers for AMG

Usually we drive on track with a GT3

and today we drive with the new C63s with you

turn here into the chicanery

okay my first impressions of the first laps are

the car is really sporty

there is a huge difference between the comfort and the race mode

it's hot in here

now we gonna change the cars

okay, now I'm in the sedan

settings are the same for both cars

what you might notice when you drive the limousine now is

that the sedan is a little more uneasy on the rear wheels

that's because the coupé is a bit wider

a wider rear axle

and the aerodynamics are different because of the different shape

that's why the sedan has a lighter rear

you can feel that the car is definately harder to control

in comparison to the Coupé

I mean, it's a sedan. It is actually not made for driving on the track

I really felt safer in the Coupé

I notice that the ESP light turns on very often

because the rear tends to drift a bit

but, to be honest... I try to challenge the car a bit

which is not so easy with that car

for this purpose I definately prefer the Coupé

which is way easier to drive on track than the Sedan

With the Coupé I was not afraid to drive really fast

I do not trust the Sedan on track that much

Nevertheless this is a very sporty car for a Sedan

I also really love the new steering wheel

There are many new buttons that I had to learn first

but it doesn't take that long when you drive the car a bit

After the racetrack I have more time to have a closer look at the car

and I will do that together with you

and we gonna start with the front of the car

as you can see there are many changes

the air intakes are different

and we finally have the Panamericana front grill

which is really beautiful I think

it makes the car look more aggressive and wider

there are new alloy wheels

let's have a look at the rear

you can notice a difference here as well

as you can see the diffusor is made of carbon fiber

which looks way more aggressive too

in comparison to the pre-facelift model

and the exhaust bezels are way bigger now

Let's have a look inside

Here we have a newly designed steering wheel

I really love the interior

with the sport seats

and I love the yellow ornamental seams

let me turn on the ignition

you can see the Panamericana front of the car

and here is a display for the satnav

no big changes in the center console

I really love the new look of the car, but the feeling when you drive has not change that much

although there is a big difference that I have to mention

we don't have a 7-speed gearbox, but a 9-speed gearbox

Mercedes calls it MCT (Multi Clutch Technology)

Just like in the AMG GTR, you have the possibility to change the traction control in 9 steps

I'm not gonna try that on track

it might end up badly

let me show you this

something that I really like is that digital display inside the buttons

one is for the exhaust pipes

and this is for the drive modes

when I change those you can also see it here

how it switches the modes

one thing that we cannot miss is the soundcheck

let's start up the car

the car is in comfort mode now

exhaust valves are closed

well

that's okay, but

let's open the exhaust valves

you can hear the difference already

one thing is also missing. I want to show you the sound while driving

let's switch the mode to S+

and I drive away

I see something that I really like

which is food

BBQ

when do you get the opportunity to have a BBQ at a racetrack?

that is a really cool idea!

and we can also have

a conversation with the other YouTuber's

and those influencers

the BBQ is ready!

okay so Franz can go first!

let's get some food!

yes, thank you!

You are welcome!

look at that branding on the meat!

okay guys and now we have a small surprise

and I saw it approaching... what is it?

the tension raises

This is a AMG GT 4-door coupé

awesome sound!

very cool!

okay guys the day is almost over

we have had very good food

and the drinks switch from non-alcoholic to alcoholic

not my drinks but Claus had several drinks alrady

he hugs his beer

that's without alcohol!

yes of course...

so, anyway. The day brought a lot of fun

it was a well organized event

we had many interesting cars

it was nice to see and feel the differences of the Coupé and the Sedan

so

I hope you like this video

if yes please click on thumps up

don't forget to subscribe to my channel

See you next time

please comment down below what you like the most

from all the models that I showed

maybe you want to learn more about a certain car, then please ask!

See you next time! Ciao!

10 UNCOMMON DE_MIRAGE TRICKS #11 - Duration: 10:04.

Welcome to episode number 11, where you will see another 10 uncommon tricks on Mirage.

This is literally unbelievable that we got another 10.

So, another video from Mirage.

Feel free to rewatch the previous ones, since there are lots of cool Mirage tricks out on

my channel and I feel that this map is fully explored.. although..

I still managed to get another 10 ideas into this video, so this map may keep giving

the content for us forever..

There is also a Steam bonus code inside this video, so if you are here early you got a

chance to win some free money, if you are not, then subscribe with notifications on

and keep an eye on my Twitter, so you know when I am releasing my videos and

you can be here early next time.

But, if you are here only for giveaways.. then rather just leave.

Anywayz, I hope you enjoy these creative thoughts..

Let's begin with a simple nade lineup idea.

There are situations when you are in the palace and there is an enemy in the firebox corner.

You can actually throw a very effective nade from palace to firebox.

Hug this wall and line yourself up with this doorframe in a sandwich.

Now look for the upper wooden line here and aim above it.

If you are ready, then just run a step and throw.

Nade bounces off from this wooden plank and lands nicely to this annoying corner.

It is actually very easy to throw if you practice it a couple of times beforehand.

You can use molotov with the same lineup.

Perfect when a bomb is planted to default.. you don't have to show yourself and it gets

the corner plus bomb spot.

The same logic works also vice versa, you can throw nades from A site to Palace using

this plank over here, although it is easier to mess it up in my opinion.

But sometimes, the Palace entrance is smoked.

I found out a pretty consistent lineup, so you can throw the same nade or molly through

the smoke as well.

Go to this corner.

Now look for these two lines and aim at the point where they would meet.

Don't move your crosshair and move a bit past this brown line.

Now when everything is set, then just run step throw again.

Boom!

Some of you may find it easier to walkthrow these nades, it may be a little bit more consistent,

but I can hit those when I am running as well.. so as always, just make sure to practice it

before implementing this idea to your actual gameplay.

Next up, very easy, but cool flash I randomly found out in a jungle area.

So, stay in this corner.

Look for the brown mark on the wall, aim at it.

And if you are ready then left click throw.

You can peak out at the same time because this flash won't blind you.

As you can see there is a thick wall between you and the flash, so it has zero effect on

you, but it gets all the enemies who are facing the jungle.

This may be useful in some sort of situations and since it is very easy to remember, you

got no excuses to learn this one.

Alright, Palace again.

As a T, there are rounds where you all split up and go to different places just to watch

for any CT aggression.

Now if you are alone and lose the bomb in a bad position like Palace..

It's basically round over since CT's can just guard the bomb and it's very hard for your

team to get the bomb.

So, if you accidentally take the bomb too far with you.. you should drop it before you

die with it.

Now if you are in Palace and you drop it casually it makes sound and CT's know that someone

is in Palace.

But if you drop the bomb on the coach, it makes no sound.

So, if you are in the same situation.. and you want to drop the bomb in Palace, better

drop it on the coach.

Supergeneral.

And here is 10 free supergeneral dollars for the fastest one who can enter

this code to Steam.

Congratz to you.

CT spawn.

Quick and easy deep B apps smoke if you want to take the control over the B apps at the

beginning of the round.

Come to this corner.

Look for this wooden beam and aim in the middle of it like this.

If you are ready then jumpthrow.

I threw this in 128 tick server, smoke bounces a couple of times and finally lands nicely

to block off this entrance.

Combine this smoke with a simple molly and you can easily push deep into the B apps yourself.

Next up again one idea.. how to throw your flashbang.

Since I have shown you this already in one of my previous videos, then I go over it pretty quickly.

Go to this position.

Aim like shown.. at the corner.

And now just jumpthrow.

You can peek with the flash since this box covers you from the bang itself and you won't

get blind.

It's a great alternative for the runthrow that is probably the

most common flash thrown from this position.

Try out the jumpthrow yourself and you won't regret it.

Or never know..

Still underwood.

Since new updated Mirage has this wall corner over here, which gives you the opportunity

to bounce nades both ways into the palace and out from the palace..

We can now easily nade palace from the underwood position.

Go to the exact same corner.

Aim above this dark box gap and jumpthrow.

Nade lands nicely inside the palace.. if you time this right, it will make some serious

damage to the enemy team.

If you throw smoke, then nade, then flash with the same lineup you, with your teammates

could even try to take Palace control.

Since it is pretty powerful for CT's to have the palace control.. it's just hard and usually

a little bit too risky to go for it.

B bombsite.

FaZe clan likes to execute a strat where they go for a B split, but smoke off both archways here.

So, this position here on the box would be perfect to defend the split from, since you

can see over the smoke and take one or two surprise kills from short before falling back.

You need a teammate who boosts you on the box here and you can just enjoy the great

view towards short.

If they come from the apps first you can drop off

and hide behind these wooden crates since they are not that easy to wallbang.

It's definitely an uncommon position right now, and it's very prone to any B apps aggression,

so it would be good if your team got the B apps control while you are trying out this

position.

Again B bombsite.

I had some free time..

I mean a lot of free time, otherwise, you won't come up with a stuff like this.

I explored the map a little and found out an interesting smoke from B bombsite to window

room, so if needed, in some weird scenario.. you will be able to do it.

Take a position like this.

Pull out your smoke grenade and aim so this brown mark on the wall is exactly under your

smoke grenade's top part.

Like this.

It takes a little practice, but shouldn't be too hard.

If you are ready then left click throw.

Smoke bounces a couple of times and lands nicely into the window room.

It leaves no gaps either side.

I tried to throw one-way-smoke as well.. this would actually have some sort of use for CT's.

But it wasn't consistent enough to put it into the video right now.

But this smoke.. could help your teammate in the window room if he is stuck in this

corner for example.. or just shuffle some cards in the middle and keep enemy team guessing

if it is a one-way smoke or not.

Middle.

Easy popflash for connector.

I have already shown you this flash.. what you can use when you come out from the underpass.

But the same idea pretty much works if you come from top middle to connector.

So, play around with it and next time take the connector with ease.. even if you don't

have a teammate who flashes you in, now you know you have some decent self-popflash opportunities

out there.

Supergeneral.

And the last tip for this video..

We are on the A bombsite.

If the bomb is planted for short.. to this open position.

You can throw a very easy afterplant molotov from the ramp to win your team some time and

possibly the round.

No strict lineup, just make sure molotov hits the stairs corner, so it can bounce to the

bombsite.

If you do it right molly will spread to the bomb spot and no one can defuse the bomb unless

they have a smoke.

Anyways, I hope you liked the ideas and learned something new from this video, at this point..

we have 11 episodes out there, it's pretty hard to come up with anything new, it feels

like everything useful and cool is pretty much done.. so make sure to rewatch other

videos.. there are pure gold out in these videos for everyone.

We will see you in the next video and thanks for watching!

Now it's the best time to click on the next video.

Better Call Saul: The Fall of Chuck McGill - Duration: 16:50.

"Things are fine the way they are."

In the Season 3 finale of Better Call Saul,

Chuck pushes Jimmy away with the words,

"I don't want to hurt your feelings.

But the truth is, you've never mattered all that much to me."

And in the moments that follow, these words haunt us,

because they're so demonstrably untrue.

The episode makes it painfully clear how much

Jimmy has affected his brother, and not for the better.

We've spent a lot of the series paying attention to

how Chuck has hurt Jimmy, through his resentment,

his underhanded sabotage, and his fundamental refusal

to believe in his brother.

But the finale forces us to wonder how much Jimmy is to blame

for the sad deterioration of Chuck.

Is Jimmy, in fact, the true cause of the illness that's plagued Chuck

for as long as we've known him —

his electromagnetic hypersensitivity, which the series has increasingly

made clear is psychological, rather than physical?

So here's our take on what Chuck's sorry end reveals to us

about where Jimmy's headed, who he's been all along,

and how much viewers have been encouraged to get wrong about him.

The episode opens with a symbolic flashback.

The camera tracks in from a distance to reveal a scene from the past --

visualizing that wisdom from The Glass Menagerie that

"Time is the longest distance between two places."

We see a younger Chuck reading to a child Jimmy by electric lantern light.

The vignette makes us emotionally aware of

how much changed in the years that followed.

Back then Chuck wasn't ill-- he was reading comfortably

next to an electric light -- and the brothers were close.

We hear Jimmy ask

"Is she gonna be okay?"

It's a question universal to children hearing stories.

Chuck answers as most adults would

"She'll be fine, Jimmy."

and when pressed he says

"Just listen.

You'll see."

These are words that say to Jimmy, you have learn to deal with the uncertainty,

which is part of being an adult.

The questioning young Jimmy is also a stand-in for us watching this show --

we hope that everything will be alright,

yet we know from the start that it won't be.

The camera moves through the electric lantern to carry us into the present day --

so this focus on the lantern -- which is of course the title of the episode

--

subtly plants in our minds a connection between Chuck's later illness

and the brothers' relationship.

As their bond fell apart, is this how -- and why --

Chuck became unable to tolerate electricity?

Lanterns return in the episode as markers of where

Chuck is now, versus then.

The next time we see Chuck, the camera tracks across

a row of lantern-like lights in the conference room of HHM.

On the surface it's a sign of Chuck's progress

that he can even sit among these lights --

but in this scene, Chuck is forced out of the firm.

"Because I always thought you had the best interests

of the firm in mind...

But you've let personal vendettas turn your focus away

from what's best for HHM."

Howard's words capture how Chuck's surface wellness

belies a deeper disease.

And likewise, Chuck's win here of being bought out

"You won."

is really a loss.

And his exit to enthusiastic applause is a sad reversal of his earlier re-entry,

even though then he had to have all electronics removed around him,

at least he had the faith and support of Howard and the firm.

In the final scene he shares with his brother, Chuck is surrounded

by an assortment of electric lights and a record player--

it's another image announcing that on the surface he's better, back to normal.

"I always told you I'd get better, you just never believed me."

We spy a lantern-like light in the fire -- it's hard to tell exactly what it is,

but, perhaps significantly, after Chuck closes this spiritual door

on Jimmy during their conversation, that light in the fire has gone out.

We might read this as an ominous foreshadowing

that the fire in Chuck will go out at the end of this episode—

and that Jimmy's hope for a brotherly love has at last been snuffed out for good.

Finally we see a lantern much like the one from the opening scene

at the very end.

Chuck kicks this lantern over to set fire to his house

and end his life.

He uses the electricity that he so fears to create a wild fire,

echoing the mental illness that he's tried to control

but has now overtaken him.

So this object, the lantern, which was a symbol

of the brothers' intimacy in the flashback, becomes the means of Chuck's demise.

And this hints that Jimmy is connected, complicit, in his brother's death.

Chuck is pretty persuasive in feigning indifference

in that face-to-face with his brother,

at least until that final look he gives after Jimmy has left.

But the significant progress Chuck has been making

is immediately and totally derailed by this one meeting.

That night, he's unable to enter his current "emotional state" in his journal.

And the next scenes we see of Chuck tearing apart his house --

in a 7 minute sequence inspired by Coppola's The Conversation --

clearly illustrate what Chuck's emotional state is after seeing Jimmy

and trying to sever their relationship for good.

Halfway through the Season 3, Jimmy convincingly puts forward

the narrative that Chuck's illness was born of his divorce.

"Talk about when these symptoms first started.

It was shortly after you were divorced, is that right?"

And the show supports this idea by opening that episode with a flashback

to Chuck hiding his new illness shortly after separating from Rebecca.

Chuck's EHS does feel linked to lack of control and an inability

to address his emotional needs, but that's not just about Rebecca.

It's also very much about Jimmy.

"My brother hates me."

Even though Chuck is the ultra-successful lawyer,

all his life, he's envied Jimmy, as we see in the flashback

when Chuck dislikes that his brother immediately charms Rebecca with jokes,

and he can't do the same

"What do you call 25 attorneys buried up to their chin in cement?

Not enough cement."

"What?"

and especially in the way that their parents favored Jimmy,

despite all of the younger's screw-ups and betrayals.

"Jimmy."

"No, Mom, it's me, Chuck."

"Jimmy…"

Over time, it's hard to shake the suspicion that the real long-term cause

of Chuck's sickness is simmering, consuming hatred for his brother.

"He'll never change, ever since he was 9,

always the same, couldn't keep his hands

out of the cash drawer.

But not our Jimmy, couldn't be precious Jimmy!"

So young Jimmy's question at the start if things will turn out okay in the story,

is finally answered, no -- Jimmy's and Chuck's back-and-forth

is resolved by the finality of Chuck's death.

So this lantern that haunts the episode represents the tragic truth that

eventually what happens to us and between us is irrevocable.

"Jimmy, he's still your brother."

"Not anymore he's not."

Neither brother can undo the damage of how much they've hurt each other.

"Two brothers...whose relationship after years of strain finally broke."

In their final conversation, Chuck calls Jimmy out

on something that we, too, have probably started to pick up on --

that Jimmy has a certain cycle to his behavior.

He does something crafty or underhanded, then he feels bad

and tries to atone with a genuine outpouring of emotion;

he resolves to live a straight-and-narrow life,

until, sooner or later, he gets an itch to bend a rule

or take a shortcut.

And so the cycle repeats.

But here when Jimmy tries to voice his regrets,

"I would… maybe do some things differently."

Chuck refuses to participate in this pattern.

"Why are you putting yourself through all this?"

"Because I wanted to tell you…"

"That you have regrets.

And I'm telling you, don't bother."

The important point Chuck is making in this scene is that we eventually

have to judge people by what they do, not by what they feel or say.

Jimmy constantly means well, but the results around him

speak for themselves.

"Jimmy, this is what you do.

You hurt people, over and over and over,

and then there's this show of remorse."

"It's not a show."

"I know you don't think it's a show, I don't doubt your emotions are real.

But what's the point of all the sad faces

and the gnashing of teeth?"

In this story, character is destiny --

so much so that Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould

have talked about how the characters lead their story places that they,

as writers, would rather not go.

Yet the show concludes that what defines character is a person's choices,

embodied in their actions.

"If you're not going to change your behavior, and you won't—"

"I can change—"

"Why not just skip the whole exercise."

When Chuck voices his regard for the "rule of law"

"The rule of law, the idea that no matter who you are,

your actions have consequences."

it feels like he's actually describing the cosmic law that governs

Better Call Saul and its predecessor.

This is a universe in which no human being can escape

the results of what he does.

Jimmy, the great talker, performs one thing.

But his actions tell another story -- and through these actions we see

Saul Goodman emerging more and more.

Significantly, Chuck's unraveling in this episode is intercut

with a key example of Jimmy proving exactly what Chuck is talking about.

Jimmy struggles to fix the mess that he created by sabotaging

the elderly Irene's friendships in order to get his Sandpiper settlement sooner.

His plot to manipulate Irene is genius in its own way,

but also grotesquely elaborate and arguably unnecessary.

Jimmy's special talent is destruction.

"I'm not good at building shit, you know?

I'm excellent at tearing it down."

And the only way he can think of to successfully make up for his sin

is through another destruction,

the casualty this time being his own reputation.

"You took advantage of poor Mrs. Landry.

Does she know how much money you're gonna make from this?"

"Nope.

And again I ask so what?"

It's hard to say if, at least in part, Chuck's view of Jimmy

as the Great Destroyer has made Jimmy see himself this way.

But it's true that Jimmy's mind always goes toward the con,

the creative workaround — it's a calling.

"It's showtime, folks."

Meanwhile doing the difficult, mundane work of building things

is extremely hard for him.

When he gets the great job with Davis & Main,

this straight, upright life doesn't fit;

it doesn't allow space for that crooked thing within him,

just as his favorite mug won't fit in the cupholder

of his shiny new company car.

Sooner or later, Jimmy will feel that need to push the button.

Breaking Bad made viewers feel powerless by showing us chains of events

that followed from each other as inevitably as stages in a chemical reaction.

But in Better Call Saul we're placed in an even more powerless position,

because we already know what happens.

Still, we invest anyway, hoping for the impossible --

and this is the eerie power of Better Call Saul's narrative experiment:

getting us to side with someone we know from the start

is going to be wrong,

to root for someone we know will fail.

Our lack of power aligns with Jimmy's own impotence to change

what's happening to him, what he himself is becoming…

because however much he wants to be good for his loved ones,

he can't stop himself from doing them harm.

And likewise, all that we feel for Jimmy and the other characters changes nothing,

does nothing to stop the accelerating car crash

happening before our eyes.

In the end, emotions just aren't enough.

"See, that's your problem, Jimmy… thinking the ends justify the means.

And you're forever shocked when it all blows up in your face."

Better Call Saul has made it easy for viewers to dislike Chuck

and root against him.

Chuck's death makes us look back and ask: what if we got a lot of this wrong?

What if we came into the story at a misleading point?

"All we did was tear down a sick man."

We start out seeing Jimmy as a selfless caretaker

to a brother who is ungrateful to his face and devious behind his back.

"You told him not to hire me."

What we haven't seen front and center (but only in brief flashbacks)

are the years in which Chuck watched his brother steal from their parents

and need bailing out for his various cons and crimes.

Siblings aren't able to break out of the impressions they form of each other

in early life,

"So I need you to work your magic and make this whole situation go poof."

so it's hardly surprising that Chuck, whose great love is the law

"It's mankind's greatest achievement."

sees Jimmy as a user and abuser of that love.

"Slippin' Jimmy with a law degree is like a chimp with a machine gun."

Still, however frequently Chuck has a point, however many times he's right

in the letter of the law, the show makes us feel that Jimmy

is right in the spirit of it.

As Matt Zoller Seitz wrote for Vulture, Chuck "does the right thing

for the wrong reason as often as Jimmy does the wrong thing for the right reason."

"He has a way of doing the worst things for reasons that sound almost noble."

Zoller Seitz observes that Chuck is essentially Better Call Saul's version of

Breaking Bad's Skyler, that character who's right to criticize

our protagonist, but who feel wrong.

Skyler inspired intense audience dislike, which unfortunately was mixed up

in some cases with misogynism.

Chuck is like Skyler 2.0 -- free of those gender politics.

Chuck warns of the person Jimmy's destined to become --

and Breaking Bad confirms Chuck's predictions --

yet we've been so biased, we just haven't wanted to hear it.

By now, though, we're forced to admit Chuck is correct about a lot of things.

However much he means well, Jimmy is toxic to everyone in his life.

"In the end… you're going to hurt everyone around you."

Jimmy genuinely loves his parents, yet he steals from these people he loves.

This is what Chuck knows about Jimmy from the start.

"I know you.

I know what you were, what you are.

People don't change, you're Slippin' Jimmy."

And from that perspective, we might understand why Jimmy's

later caring behavior doesn't atone for what in Chuck's eyes is unforgivable.

We start to wonder if maybe this desire to live a straight life

that Jimmy is performing over these opening seasons is actually a backlash,

a response in opposition to what he's truly doing

and thus becoming over the long-term.

"You're like an alcoholic who refuses to admit he's got a problem."

Season 3 gave us the literal birth of Saul Goodman as a response

to financial strains.

"It's like, 's'all good, man.'"

"That guy has a lot of energy."

"Yeah.

It's just a name."

Interestingly, on the character-is-destiny front,

Chuck and Kim both say things to Jimmy

in this episode that essentially encourage him to accept

his inner Saul Goodman.

"You know, sometimes you gotta play to your strengths."

"You can't help it - so stop apologizing

and accept it, embrace it.

Frankly I'd have more respect for you if you did."

It's clear that Chuck has seen his brother as Saul for a long time,

way before others have.

By now it truly feels that there are two distinct people

within our protagonist,

wrestling for his soul.

With Chuck gone, Jimmy is one step closer

to losing this battle.

What remains to be seen is how we get to our destination,

the victory of Saul over Jimmy, and the collateral damage of that war.

"He can't help himself… and everyone's left picking up the pieces."

DO's & DON'T - How to Draw Hair! 【Easy Art Drawing Tutorial for Beginners】 - Duration: 10:55.

hello everyone welcome back to my channel I'm brushes & bunnies and in this

video we're going to be doing a drawing tutorial I have not done one of these in

so long and I really wanted to do another tutorial for you all so this one

we're going to be focusing on the basics of drawing hair drawing hair can be very

difficult especially if you're new to it at the beginning I could remember

feeling very overwhelmed I just did not know where things started where things

ended how to basically organize the hair strands the first mistake that I would

do is of course draw very awkward strands of hair that I just you know had

no form there was no curves there was nothing

and a lot of that mistake actually came from just because I wouldn't loosen up

my wrist so everything was just kind of lifeless there was no curves there was

no like I don't know there was just the motion to the hair that I would draw

kind of like what you're seeing now the second mistake was also in the way that

I would draw it because I did not know where it started I didn't really know in

which way that the hair would actually end up falling and you know the

different directions of the hair I just didn't really consider this and I didn't

really know how to consider it and the third mistake was to avoid any sort of

shading I would tend to end up with characters that had sort of a lifeless

shape around the head that didn't really look like any hair and I think that

avoiding any sort of shading is a mistake for sure because it does bring a

lot of life to your hair for the dus part of this video I'm going to be

showing you all three of these things we're going to start with the root of

the hair where it starts at the forehead

we are then going to get into the direction and the movement of the hair

basically have to plan it out before you actually start drawing the hair and last

but not least I'm going to be showing you how I basically shade the hair to

create another dimension or a more realistic look but keep in mind that

this tutorial is not for realism it's more for I'm just showing you guys how I

draw the hair in my own style

the first step to drawing hair is to find the base of the hair where will the

hair come from the forehead I tend to follow a relatively easy structure so

when I'm first drawing the head or the face of the character I draw a circle

and the very top of this circle line is where I will tend to base my hair

sometimes I'll start the hair a little bit above this top circle line or a

little bit below it all depends on the character that I'm drawing but I tend to

use this as a basic guide or reference line another thing that I tend to do

before I start the hair is just to draw the outline of where the hair will

appear on the forehead so not only on the top but also on the side above the

ear perhaps even around the neck it's just really basic lines that help me

figure out where the hair will appear around the face the next thing I do is

basically visualize where the hair will go in which direction the movement of

the hair in this tutorial I'm using arrows to kind of simulate or visualize

that sort of thing that I'm talking about in terms of the motion and the

movement um so these arrows show you exactly in which direction the hair will

go and from then on I base the hair strands on this sort of visual drawing

these movement arrows or motion arrows it's not something that I do typically

in my sketches or on paper I just use that or I visualize that in my brain

already before I draw but if you're starting out what I could give you guys

as a tip is to just basically maybe do this digitally before you get started

you can do a very quick digital sketch and you could just map out in which

direction you want the hair to fall and this will really help you just visualize

before you get started in the actual drawing once I know which direction to

go I basically just go for it now the trick to drawing the hair is of course

to keep your wrist and very very loose you want to have a very loose wrist and

this comes with practice and if you're unsure and if you've got a shaky hand

and it's very tight and you're just finding yourself drawing too many kind

of lifeless strands then just practice before just loosen your risk with

exercises draw circles draw curvy lines just draw a couple shapes before you

actually get started with the hair and this is something that I used to do way

back in the day and it has helped a lot now at this point in the drawing I'm not

focusing on any detail I am just literally drawing the outline of the

hair maybe some key hair strands that I really want to bring focus to but I'm

not going for a total realistic look here I just want to have a very nice

shape and I want to see in which areas the hair will move and I'm basically

focused on getting the kind of movement right before I get into any detail work

the last step to the hair drawing process revolves around the details this

could be anything from actually drawing the individual hair strands which a lot

of artists do if you're going for a realistic look you want realistic hair

you can just start to draw different hair strands including the highlights

including the two shades the different sort of yeah it's a different sort of

hair strands this is not something that I typically do however I do like to add

minimalist or minimal hair strands in my drawing as you can see I tend to start

at the base of the skull or the hair and I create just very simple outlines to

kind of simulate or visualize the hair or the hair texture but in my style I

don't typically go crazy or all-out with the hair strands I only do it in key

areas like I mentioned at the base of the hair where the hair kind of

basically splits around the forehead maybe simulate hair strands when there's

very key curls in the hair as well but I don't go fall out another

thing that I tend to do to add detail is of course adding shadow so I do use the

cross hatching technique around the hairs or the the sections of the hair

that is in a shade or in a shadow sometimes you'll see this basically

around the neck area which is kind of gives you a dimension that you have a

foreground and a background within the hair and this just gives a little bit

more realistic feel to your drawing as well and it actually makes your hair

come to life rather than it being just like one color this is quite this is

quite nice another thing that I tend to do is what you're seeing me doing right

now is in my sketches I always have a black fineliner and I take like the

smallest size available which is an S or 0.3 millimeters for example and I just

outlined the hair strands I don't do everything because it just takes away

from I don't know the style that I have to just kind of outline the outside of

the hair I'll outline any sort of hair strand like a major hair strand that's

you know around the ear for example these are sort of details that I add

later on and then from then on once I'm done with that I can go back and just

sketch a little bit more shadows or sketch more hair strands if I want it

really depends on the look that I'm going for

- basically Risa mirai's what I just talked about in terms of the hair

drawing process here's a very quick speed drawing section of the tutorial

basically showing you guys from the very first steps of drawing the face the

facial features and then going with the actual hair

it is setup a lot but if you want to see the real-time video it will be available

on my patreon for all of my patreon that is a shameful or shameless plug sorry

but I have to I want to promote it because I am working quite hard on

patreon and trying to get new content there for everyone who is a member a few

words before I leave this video or stop for yep this video ends basically I just

want to say that drunk hair is very hard it's very challenging it can be

overwhelming at the very beginning I know it was for me where just like I

have no idea what I'm doing its to complicate it and I will tend to just

all the same hairstyle over and over and over again but let me tell you that it

does get better with practice just like anything else and practicing in your

sketchbook just drawing different types of hair even different textures curly

wavy is straight very very short there's all kinds of different hairstyles out

there and there's all kinds of really nice references that you can use on the

internet to basically draw yeah I learn how to draw hair one of the things that

I really like to actually use as a reference is kind of like cosplay

cosplay wigs there's all kinds of really beautiful wigs out there that are very

cool especially for girls you've got all these really beautiful and really cute

Styles you can find that are kind of like manga style almost there's all

kinds of reference photos out there that you can basically use so keep practicing

practice is key and it's how you will improve especially how you will you know

get familiar or just get in the habit of loosing up loosening up your wrist this

is very important to you know getting a natural flow or motion to the hair just

to have a loose wrist but this of course comes with time and comes with practice

before this video ends I just want to give a huge thank you to everyone that

participated in the draw this in your style challenge it was a lot of fun and

it was something that I posted on Instagram and it was so happy to see all

of your drawings I'm gonna be giving you guys sort of an image real once this

video is over on my end screen you're guys gonna see all of the beautiful

drawings that everyone created over on Instagram so check it out I'll also be

giving out some shout outs to those that did or participate so yeah I don't know

it was just it was just a lot of fun to see everyone's drawings and I was very

happy with like I don't know just just seeing it you guys are so talented and

it's really fun to see everyone kind of jump in and draw things together I want

to wish you all a lovely day and don't forget to draw today do some drawing

practices and don't ever give up stay awesome and we will see each other very

soon bye
