First flight with FPV.

My previous flight was line of sight for about 30 seconds.

The video quality from my first flights is quite bad.

This is due to the analog signal coming from the quad.

The analog signal means lower quality but much lower latency. This is great for racing but bad for filming.

Right now, I am just learning FPV flight and attempting to follow the course.

Now we transition to GoPro footage a week later once I bought it.

GoPro is heavier but provides a much better video post flight. However, I still see the analog signal during flight.

After a week of flying, I am much faster. I am now practicing flying low and fast.

Introducing... freestyle

Freestyle is essentially flying anywhere and doing tricks and just having fun flying through things.

I am flying at my Granny's house. Not a great place for a beginner but I manage.

Flying at my house is much more difficult so I have to go slower.

I am back at Gateway Hobbies flying their "short track" / "billboard track". Two months later.

I also tried out their brand new "large track". I still have not learned the course but I still have fun.

From time to time I pop up to get an awesome aerial view of the area.

My camera and the GoPro are tilted up between 35 and 55 degrees during flight. This is great for racing but not great for scenic flight.

This means I can't hover or you will just see the sky. That is why I have to turn around constantly.

I could fly straight but I would risk flying over other peoples property.

At my house, I have a little bit more room in the sky.

This means if I plan my flight correctly, I can get a decent shot of the lake.

Back at Gateway Hobbies, I am checking to see how close an approaching storm is. About 45 minutes.

I briefed them on safety before flight. (Yes, these things can cause injuries.)

Shooting quickly up and over the house is so much fun.

These bushes make a great replacement for gates.

Gates are the "rings" you fly through during racing.

That is me sitting at the table flying through the FPV goggles.

Think of FPV goggles as a screen attached to your face with the live view from the drones analog camera.

Hi everyone and welcome to my August plan with me!

I'm going to be starting out my video with a quick flip-through.

This July cover ohmy goodness, I had high hopes for how the cover would turn out but

as someone who has zero artistic skill I don't even know what I was thinking.

But everything is pretty simple and and the same.

Obviously, the month is not over yet so not everything is filled out but I'm every excited

to be starting this month because I get to be using Jenny's Paper Craft Co.

This is from Jenny Journals here on YouTube's Etsy shop (I'll link it down below) I bought

a couple things from her and this is the first time I'm actually using one of the monthly

calendars and I'm very excited!

I absolutely love this camping theme.

I loved to go camping when I was younger with my family and of course I loved my summer

camp.

This photo is from a magazine cutout from National Geographic along with some print

outs from my HP Sprocket.

This month is actually my birthday month so it's going to be pretty random of things that

I just LOVE.The sunflower and the black kitty are photos from Tumblr.

And the black kitty, I'm a dog person but, it's definitely my spirit animal.

Here I am with some stickers.

I went very, very crazy with them.

I just can't draw for my life if you couldn't tell already so, I'm very glad that I had

the background of the National Geographic photo to take up a lot of the background and

fill in empty spaces so I just stuck on whatever I liked and then filled in some of the empty

spaces and I'm turning 21 so that's there...The monthly calendar is usually the same.

For the summer time I made it bigger so it's 7x7.

I'm using a Posca laminated pen (I think that's what it's called in English).

If I can find it I'll link it down below.

But the brand is Posca.

I'm filling in the days of the week.

I didn't mess up this time and then I also go in with my white pen because you can see

better over the magazine folded over part.

The next page is going to be my movies and books of the month.

I actually have 19 films I want to watch this month - which is I think the most EVER.

The books will be filled in once August starts of course.

My second a day clip monthly log (I guess) is always something that I need for a project

that I'm working on.

My expense tracker- I also like to keep it on one page because I find that it helps me

limit how much money that I use so I don't have to fill up as many lines.

my habit tracker, which will be on the following page, has stayed the same.

I do want to say that I'm not going to be doing a weekly layout because for the first

week and a half I'm going to be in Italy.

So i'm not quite sure if I'm gonna be bringing my journal or even how I want to fill up the

pages.

I might just fill in some photos I've taken.

So here is a quick look at the final product.

I'm very happy with how it turned out and I'm excited to see how August goes so it's

going to be the last month (of summer).

Overnight At Abandoned Cold War Radar Base - Urbex Lost Places Italy - Duration: 12:20.

Italy is a paradise for urban explorers.

This summer we visited the country for ten days.

Together with Michael and Bryan from The Proper People

and the photographer tobi_urbex we were heading out to search for the beauty of decay.

Countless thorn stings and mosquito bites couldn't stop us from exploring the most impressive abandoned sites of Italy.

Over the next months we will share the footage with you on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

Join us on one of our most memorable urbex adventures to date!

Our journey starts in the North of Italy.

We're somewhere in the Alps and it's shortly after sunrise.

At an altitude of 2.000 meters the first spot of our urbex road trip is located:

An abandoned military compound.

This was the perfect location to spend the first night of the trip.

And to meet our crew for the next ten days.

In this room we slept: Marco and Till from BWT.

In the chamber next door is the tent of Bryan and Michael from The Proper People.

And down the hallway is the room of tobi_urbex.

He is the local and he will help us get inside the craziest abandoned sites of Italy in the upcoming days.

As you might have already noticed: The whole building complex is completely empty.

There isn't much left to see.

We only came for the view.

It's a beautiful 360-degree panorama.

And we are right in the middle of it - next to those massive satellite dishes.

This spot is a former military base of the NATO.

But the compound is only a small part of a huge network in the whole EU.

Just a few days after this exploration we want to do another overnight stay at one of those abandoned radar stations.

After a multi-year construction phase the surveillance and communication operation started in 1969.

During the Cold War, NATO troops could maintain contact due to those dishes.

This abandoned radar station was the starting point of our urbex road trip through the Northern part of Italy.

Two more locations are on our bucket list for this day.

But before we head to them it's time for breakfast, first, which we are preparing inside the bulletproof watchtower.

For breakfast we have eggs.

With tomatoes and shallots.

And bacon. And cheese. On toast!

Voilà! – Thank you. This looks perfect!

In 1995, the operation of the radar station ceased.

After the end of the Cold War it wasn't needed anymore.

Over ten years later, the property was purchased by a private investor for around 100.000 Euros.

But he wasn't really caring about the former NATO base at all.

Instead he was offering it for sale and people were supposed to pay more than ten times the money of his purchasing price.

So it's not clear what will happen now with the compound.

But during our exploration a location scout came who was looking for the perfect backdrop of a new Ford Ranger ad.

Who knows, maybe you will see the spot soon on TV.

If so, let us know!

We now have to take the curvy mountain pass roads into the valley where the next abandoned spot is awaiting us.

The area in which we are located now is characterized by mining.

Already several hundred years ago the digging had started and there used to be mines everywhere in this valley.

But by now all of them are abandoned.

And one of those dead mines is our destination.

The Proper People are already waiting for us in their dark Škoda rental next to the site.

This impressive building complex is the second urbex spot of our trip.

From the aerial image you might see that the place was partly built into the mountain.

But we aren't really equipped for long, dark tunnels.

Today we're only here to see the beautiful main building.

Shortly before the turn of the millennium this mine became disused.

For 20 years the building has been decaying now and as you can see the old conveyor belts are already reclaimed by nature.

The one end of this conveyor directly leads into the mountain.

But it's also an entrance to the main building, that's why we're taking this way.

Even though we aren't well equipped for that as we mentioned earlier.

A bit deeper in the tunnel there is a way down to the mine shaft and a way up to the building.

We are following the feeder band upstairs.

Unfortunately, the building doesn't look as stunning from the inside as it does from the outside.

As a matter of fact, it's just a huge death trap and we really felt uncomfortable the whole time during this exploration.

Because of wind and whether there's rust all over the place.

Holes are everywhere in the thin sheet metal floor, so every single step has to be taken thoughtfully.

Nearly all of the stairs are already broken and should be avoided.

But in order to explore all the different floors of the site we have to take the risk.

A quick look at the ceiling reveals why the place is in such a bad condition:

Due to the broken roof rainwater can get in easily.

And vandals are speeding up the decay even more.

In the past mainly fluorite was mined there.

This is one of the most important industrial minerals for the steel and light metal production.

Even today you can find plenty of machines here which were used to process the minerals.

In this facility they were prepared for the transport to other parts of the country.

In order to do that the rocks were crushed and washed.

It's unclear when mining at this location started, but it probably was around the 1930s.

About 100 pitmen used to work here during the time of the production peak in the '60s.

After that time, the slow descent started.

Demand slackened and the costs of mining became extremely high.

This lead to downsizing and most of the workers had been laid off.

In the '90s, only 30 employees were left.

Half of them were working underground and were mining around one hundred tons of raw materials per day.

In 1999, this was the last active mine in the valley.

After all the other facilities weren't profitable any more, this one was also abandoned in the end.

At this point, there is no hope left for this property.

The mine next door was turned into a climbing park but this one is that decayed that the only option would be demolition.

I mean but it's still absolutely delicious

My Yoga Experience | Slow Russian - Duration: 3:11.

I first started doing yoga when I came to

Los Angeles.

And I discovered this wonderful lesson for myself, because

before that I did not know anything about yoga.

I'm not a flexible person at all, I can not reach the tips

of my toes of my feet, standing ... that is, I can not touch

the floor, standing on straight legs.

And that's why I was interested in yoga as a form of stretching, so to speak

And I probably did it 10 times, probably.

And I really liked it, I liked how I felt myself

after yoga, and what exercises were given to us there.

Therefore, if you want do stretching, or

some kind of not very active kind of physical activity,

then I advise yoga, because this is such an exercise,

which makes you concentrate,

makes you think about everything good in your life even

sometimes, and it makes you relax.

And I felt that I did not Only became more flexible,

but also calmer, because probably anyway

the practice of yoga is not only for stretching,

And also for some, I don't know, psychological,

for some psychological stability, or something.

Surely, it's used throughout

world not just because, and certainly not just because it has such popularity.

Yeah.

I want to continue, of course, although for me it is difficult,
