[Resilience is the ability to survive, adapt and thrive in the face of any challenge.]

It's not going to be easy,

in fact, it's going to be hard.

You might want to stop, give up, or walk away.

And if you do, you're always going to wonder.. what if?

Slow down, breath in confidence, and fight.

Fight with everything you got.

No matter what's thrown at you,

push until you've given it your all.

One extra push, one extra punch, that's all it takes.

From the very first time I wrapped my hands

and put on the gloves

I just literally fell in love with the sport of boxing.

I didn't feel comfortable really telling my coaches like

hey I have a back problem

so I tried to suck it up I guess, as much as I could.

That lead to the disk in my back blowing up.

In those moments before I had surgery

I finally got to meet Dr. Valiante

and I made a deal with him that if he fixed me

I would quit my job and I would devote my whole life

to the sport of boxing and using it as a tool

to help other people heal.

I have kept that promise, and since 2010

I've been running with my husband

a not-for-profit charity MJKO.

A boxing based youth charity located in South Parkdale.

What we do is we actually use sport to

help create social change.

The kids that come to MJKO,

on the surface they look like happy kids

but then you realize they've lost a parent,

they're dealing with you know,

a community filled with mental health issues,

they're struggling in school,

english is not their fist language.

Boxing teaches us to perceiver,

to get up and push through the hard times

and I think that's something we need to do more of.

At MJKO I am one of the coaches.

So ya, I used to fight a lot when I was younger and

that's how I can kind of like also relate

to a lot of the kids at our organization.

Youth organizations are a big need for

communities like Parkdale.

For me when I lived in community housing

I was exposed to like, I saw a lot of violent things happening,

there was a lot of gang and criminal activities

that were happening in the neighbourhoods.

Because of MJKO, rather than being out in the streets

getting involved with things that they shouldn't

be getting involved in.

The kids in the Parkdale community have somewhere

to call a second home.

They have somewhere to go where

they have people who care about them

and are motivating them and are rooting for them.

So that kind of is already itself a win for the community.

Boxing is like the one thing

that they look forward to everyday.

Boxing is not about violence. It's about self-regulation,

it's about self-control,

and it's about being a better person.

From there they get confident around their peers

and then they get confident out on the street outside of the organization.

Some kids naturally like competition

and why not use that for good?

My dream is to be a professional boxer.

It's a challenge to me because

It's like an exercise that's like kind of non-stop every week.

If MJKO didn't exist, my life would kind of be like errr.

If you have a bad day, you have someone to

come and be nice and help you feel better.

Constantly go there and practice, work hard.

It's good to learn from your mistakes because mistakes are powerful.

When I was growing up,

if I had an organization in my life

like MJKO that is a second home to me.

I think it would have been amazing for a lot of people

I grew up with as well. It's life changing.

A lot of the kids that I grew up with,

some of them are dead, some of them are in jail

and if they had that in their life

they probably would be living a different life right now.

If they had somewhere to go

rather than be out on the streets

it would have been a lot different.

We want to light a spark.

We want the kids to believe that

anything they want, they can accomplish.

Every single kid that I see walks in with so much potential

like I don't see all the things that other people see.

So when parents tell me

they've seen such a change in their kid,

for me I've always seen

like I've always saw that potential and that ability.

For me it's just providing a nurturing environment

that they can thrive

and I think that's all the kids in South Parkdale need

is a place to thrive.

Being able to just show kids that

yeah I do care about you, it's more than just

you coming and spending an hour and a half with us.

You're my family too.

Just being able to put a smile

on a kid face is what drives me.

It's kind of like a big family

where everyone gets together and gets along.

Resilience is grounded in passion and in joy.

Without finding your love,

what you're meant to do in this earth,

it's very hard to be resilient.

The sport of boxing has taught me so much

about the ability to face fear.

Life is scary, life is hard and it's about just facing it.

One fight, one step, one challenge at a time.

Im just one of like thousands of people in Toronto

that are doing amazing work

to make the lives of children and the citizens better.

[To make Toronto more Resilient, we want to know how are Torontonians building Resilience in their communities every day?]

2018 Mustang GT Roush Active Axle-Back Exhaust Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 31:47.

If you're looking for one of the most advanced axle-back exhaust systems currently available

for your 2018 and newer GT, the Roush might just be the system for you.

Now, when installed, the Roush axle-back will not only allow you to control the volume of

your system from the comfort of your driver seat using the included knob but you can even

create your own custom sound through the very attractive Roush iOS app.

Now, prospective buyers can expect a full 304 grade stainless build from tip to tip

here, in addition to all of the wiring and hardware needed to get the system installed

for the very first time.

The Roush and it's nearly $2,600 price tag is certainly not a cheap system by any stretch

of the imagination, but the quality will be top-notch and the install, while labor-intensive,

is pretty straightforward thanks to the included instructions from Roush.

Now, on the surface, expect a strong two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter

here, guys, certainly a little bit more difficult than your standard axle-backs for the S550

due to the included drilling and wiring needed to get this system in place.

So it's no secret that the active exhaust stuff has been all of the rage lately ever

since getting introduced widespread on the 2018 Mustang.

Basically, it gives you the luxury of keeping things quiet in or around the neighborhood

or cranking things up whenever you wanna be heard.

Luckily for you guys, if you happen to miss it from the factory, a bunch of aftermarket

companies have started making their own variation with fantastic results such as AWE, Corsa,

Verex, and, of course, the Roush system we're featuring here.

Now, Roush actually debuted this system or a variation of this system on some of the

'15 through '17 cars.

And it was so darn popular despite the higher price point that they kept it rolling here

into the 2018 model year.

And with that in mind, let's talk a little bit more about what makes the active system

from Roush so special.

And it really just comes down to a combination of the presets along with the custom tuning

aspect that owners can play around with.

As far as your presets go, Roush does give you three to choose from including touring,

sport, and track.

As you'd imagine, the touring keeps things the quietest by keeping that valve closed

at all times, and that's gonna deliver a volume level that's very close to stock, if not a

good bit quieter.

So let's call it a two out of five on our one to five or one to wake the neighbor scale.

Up next is the sport option, which is the coolest in my opinion because it's adaptive,

meaning the system determines the position of the valve based on accelerator position

along with your vehicle speed by using the included dongle here for your OBD2 port.

Basically, what that means, if you're lugging around town in low gears, the valve will be

mostly shut.

But once you merge onto the freeway and put it to the wood, that valve will open up.

And at that point things will get much louder and much more aggressive.

Because of the varying volume level with this option, it's really hard to put a specific

number on the sport mode in regards to our one to five or one to wake the neighbor scale.

Last but not least, we have track mode.

And as the name suggests, this is going to be the loudest of the three presets from Roush

as that active valve remains fully open at all times.

Roush actually claims that this isn't legal for street use due to the extreme volume levels.

But if I know my fellow Mustang owners out there, that certainly won't stop you guys

from letting this thing be heard on full-on track mode.

Now, going to my wake the neighbor scale here, the track is a very, very strong four out

of five.

But keep in mind, guys, this is still with that factory suitcase style resonator in place.

Remove that thing in favor of an aftermarket X or H-pipe and things will get even louder.

Let's briefly talk about that fourth and final option, this custom mode.

And Roush claims endless possibilities with this when using the iPhone app, which by the

way, is necessary to really unlock the full potential of the Roush active system.

Quick heads up here, guys, an Android version of this software is still in the works.

So just be patient for that.

In a nutshell, custom mode lets you take full control of that valve or flap allowing you

to change the position based on vehicle speed, RPM, and also accelerator position, again,

essentially giving you endless amount of sound options.

But with the sound covered, let's get into the construction of the Roush axle-back, and

because we are talking about the legendary brand Roush, we know the quality is gonna

be completely top-notch.

And that is the case here with this particular system.

Premium 304 grade stainless steel throughout including the small amount of two and a half

inch mandrel bent tubing, guys.

It does split off and lead into the open chambered mufflers before finally exiting out the quad

four inch tips finished in that nice beautiful brushed chrome finish.

Also quick heads up here, guys, these are your active exhaust valves.

They will be mounting to the mufflers themselves.

And again, you are getting all the wiring, the hardware, in addition to your OBD2 dongle

right here from the guys over at Roush.

Now, because this is an axle-back, cutting, of course, is required.

However, this system will also involve a small amount of drilling both inside the car to

mount that switch in addition to underneath the car to install a couple of new hangers

from Roush.

You'll also need to run the wiring for the brains in the valve actuator.

So, all-in-all, guys, don't expect a standard axle-back job here by any means.

However, to give you a better idea of what's involved for this job, here's a detailed walkthrough

in addition to a tool breakdown.

First thing we need to do is cut the factory exhaust system.

Roush tells us to come off the end of the resonator 20 and a quarter inches and make

a line and we will cut from there.

And we're gonna do the same thing on the other side.

I'm gonna measure out 20 and a quarter inches, make a mark, and this is where we're gonna

cut.

Once you've got your exhaust measured out and marked, we can go ahead and use a Sawzall

to cut it.

All right.

Once you've got this cut, we can pull the rest of the pipe out.

Next I'm gonna remove the rest of the heat shield that's left on our factory cat-back.

Next we're gonna remove the two hangers that we just removed the pipes out of.

They're gonna be a 13 millimeter, and we're gonna save these and put them aside because

we will be reusing these.

Next thing we're gonna do is remove one by one our sway bar bushings here.

So we're gonna remove this 13 millimeter bolt and replace it with a stud.

And once we have this stud on, that's gonna allow us to install the provided heat shield.

So I have a 13 millimeter socket and we'll start pulling these out one at a time.

You don't want your sway bar dropping down on you.

And we have two more on the other side.

And it does look like there's some blue loctite in there.

So these are gonna give you a little bit of resistance coming out as well.

All right.

Once we've got our studs installed, we can go ahead and install our heat shield now.

So we'll slide that over the stud, throw on a provided nut, and we'll get this tightened

down.

This is gonna be a 13 millimeter nut as well.

Next you need to go to the very last page of the instruction booklet and find the templates.

And what we're gonna do here is cut this first template out.

Next thing we're gonna do is take the template that we just cut out and we need to go up

onto the rear frame rail here and we're gonna go right in front of the last hole in the

frame on this notch.

And this is where we're going to drill our holes.

So what I'm gonna do is tape my template up here.

Once we've got our template taped up into place, I'm gonna take a center punch and mark

the two holes that we need to drill out.

And we'll do the same thing on the other side.

Once you've got your holes marked out with your template, you can go ahead and start

drilling two holes.

I'm gonna be using an eighth inch drill bit as a pilot hole.

After that, we'll move on to a seventeen-thirty-seconds drill bit.

Once you've got both holes drilled, the next thing we're gonna need to do is insert our

rib nut that is provided in the kit.

Once you've got both Nutserts installed, we can go ahead and install our hangar.

This is provided in the kit also and the hardware as well.

So I'm gonna get these started.

And they're 10 millimeter.

We're now ready to throw our new axle-backs up into place.

Before we do that, we wanna make sure we put a clamp on this end.

I'm gonna slide the other hanger...rubber isolator onto this hanger right here.

And we'll take the added isolator and slip it onto this hanger right here.

Now let's get this thrown up into place.

All right.

We can go over to the other side now and do the same thing.

Next we can go ahead and secure our two hangers here with the stock bolts.

They are 13 millimeters.

All right.

Next thing we're gonna do is tighten up our two clamps here to secure our exhaust in place.

I have a 15 millimeter socket on my impact gun.

Next up we're gonna put our active exhaust valve into place.

Start off by putting up a gasket up here first followed by the valve.

I'm gonna get this bolt in place.

All right.

We can tighten these down now.

It's gonna be a 13 millimeter socket.

Next we can go ahead and put our tips up into place.

All right.

We're gonna do the same thing on the other side.

We're gonna start off with a gasket followed by our active valve.

And we'll get this tightened down now with a 13 millimeter socket.

All right.

We're gonna do the same thing on the left side now.

Let's get our tips up into place.

You can go ahead and get our tips tightened down now.

We're now ready to start running our active exhaust wiring harness.

To do so, we need to make some room to tuck the wires in.

First thing I'm gonna do is remove the spare tire liner cover here.

Next we're going to remove the plastic trim panel in here.

There's four knobs, two on this side, two on this side.

We'll go ahead and unscrew them and remove this panel.

Now we're gonna pull straight out on this trim panel here to release it from the car.

Next thing we need to do is come into the back seat here and we're gonna remove the

rear seat bottom.

To do that, you wanna find the opening in the bottom of the seat, push your hand in,

and push in on the little clip.

And that's gonna release the seat bottom.

And there's two of these.

There's one on this side as well.

And once you've got them up, you can just simply pull up on your seat and pull it out

of the car.

Next thing we're gonna do is fold down the back seat.

Grab onto our latch.

Next thing we're gonna do is remove the driver side, the kick panel molding here.

You're gonna pull up to release the clips.

Next thing we wanna do is remove the carpet in the trunk.

There's two push pins here that we need to remove.

I have a pry tool.

All right.

We're in the trunk now.

You wanna locate the J clip and bolt that comes in the hardware pack.

Once you have all the carpet removed back here, we're gonna take our J clip and get

it in place back here.

And this is gonna give us a spot to melt our control module.

So once we've got the J clip, we can take our module.

You're gonna take your wiring harness, find the relay, and bolt this together, module

and the relay all in one.

And this is an eight millimeter bolt.

All right.

Once you've got that tightened up, we can come right here and plug our control module

in.

Next thing we're gonna do is route our wiring harness down the left side of the trunk.

Over to the grommet on the passenger side.

What we wanna do is pull this grommet out and find the end of the wiring harness that

has the grommet already installed with the two small plugs for our active valves on our

mufflers.

So I'm gonna go ahead and stick these right through the hole down to our mufflers.

And we wanna make sure that we fully seat this grommet into the hole.

Next thing we need to do is attach the ground to the ground screw that is already in our

trunk.

So with an eight millimeter socket, I'm gonna remove this ground bolt.

And we're going to find the ground that's in our wiring harness along with the white

push-in pin here.

That's gonna secure our harness to the trunk.

All right.

Once you've got your ground hooked up here, you can use some of the zip ties that they

provide you and just clean this up a little bit in here.

Now we're gonna lift the vehicle back up so we can plug in our active valves on our mufflers.

Next thing we're gonna do is route the two wires that go to each muffler for our active

valves.

So we already have them dropped through the floor going to the grommet.

And we're gonna be using the supplied zip ties with the clips on the end of them.

I'm gonna start out with the left side wire.

We'll get this routed up through here.

All right.

Once you've got your wire ran all the way over, you can go ahead and plug it in to your

active valve.

We can now start buttoning up things in the trunk here.

We got all our wires ran up to the driver side front door.

So I'm gonna start putting the carpet back in.

After the carpet, we'll put our trim panel back in and then our spare tire cover as well.

From there, we'll move up to the front of the car and finish running our wires there.

Next up is the trunk trim panel.

We're gonna slide this back into place.

Make sure that these hooks go in their respective holes.

All right.

Once we've got our wire from the trunk into the backseat, we can start routing the active

wiring harness along the left side of the car here.

So I'm gonna go behind the seatbelt.

I'm gonna start tucking it up under the trim panel here out of the way.

Next thing I'm gonna do is remove this pushpin here that's holding the carpet down.

That's gonna allow me to tuck my wire behind the carpet.

There's another one right here.

Once we have those out, we can tuck our harness underneath our carpet here.

All right.

We can put our pushpins back in the place now.

All right.

I have a pick tool here.

I'm gonna remove the kick panel.

First thing we need to do is remove the center cap off of our hood release.

Next we need to remove this trim panel before we can remove our kick panel.

I'm gonna use a plastic pry tool here.

And get this guy released nice and easy here.

Once we've got all of our trim panels off here, I'm gonna start routing the wire up

and get it close to the OBD2 port.

So our next step is going to be to plug in the OBD2 pass-through.

Take a couple zip ties and secure this in.

You're gonna wanna find the OBD2 pass-through plug.

We're gonna plug this in to the harness.

All right.

Once we have the pass-through plug plugged in through the active harness, we can go ahead

and plug it right into the OBD2 port in the car.

Once we've got our OBD2 port plugged in, I'm gonna clean this up a little bit with some

zip ties, basically just gonna follow the factory wiring harness that's in the door

seal here.

All right.

I'm gonna start putting some trim panels back on now.

All right.

Next we can reinstall our hood latch.

I'm just gonna pop this right back into place and put our center cap back on.

Next we can install our trim piece here on our door seal.

Next thing we need to do is remove our center console.

First thing I'm gonna do here is remove this panel.

And underneath this panel are two seven millimeter screws that need to be removed.

And we're gonna go ahead and do the same thing on the other side.

Next thing I'm gonna do is open up our center console lid and I'm going to pry up on the

edge of our console here.

I'm gonna lift straight up, get these clips released, pull the e-brake up.

And we have two plugs under here that we need to unclip.

All right.

So we need to release this shift boot from the center console.

I'm gonna do that with a pair of needle nose pliers.

We need to squeeze in on these white tabs one at a time.

So once you have your shift boot released from the center console, we are gonna leave

the shift boot in place and just pull straight out on our center console.

I'm up here under the dash routing our wire up to get it into the center console, gonna

get a couple zip ties up on here.

All right.

So we need to get these two wires into the center console.

This wire here needs to go over to the passenger side kick panel where our fuse panel is.

So I'm gonna feed these up into here for now.

So we need to reach down into the center console and unplug our cigarette lighter here.

We need to find the end of the Roush harness that has the yellow wire coming out of it

and we're going to depin our 12-volt cigarette lighter.

So I have a small pick tool here.

I'm going to disconnect the red locking tab on the inside of our plug here.

All right.

So once we have our locking tab out of the front of the plug, we're gonna depin the gray

wire with a red stripe.

So again, take your pick tool, go in and push the tab over and gently pull out on your wire.

And once you have it unhooked, it's gonna pull straight out of the back of your connector.

Now, once we've done that, we're gonna take the yellow wire and repin our 12-volt connection

here.

Stick it right up into place.

Make sure you hear it click.

So next thing we're gonna do is take the red locking tab and put it back in the front of

our connector now.

Next thing we're gonna do is take the gray and red striped wire that we depinned out

of our cigarette lighter and we are going to put a plug end on it that was supplied

in the Roush harness.

So, first thing we're gonna do, slide the plastic cap over the end, followed by the

rubber grommet, and then we can take the plug end and slide our wire right into place and

place our cap and our weather seal on the end here and snap the cap into place.

And we're gonna go ahead and plug these in now.

Here's a click and then push the red locking tab over.

Now, once you have that plugged in, we can go ahead and plug our cigarette lighter back

in.

All right.

Next thing I'm gonna do is remove the fuse panel cover and the passenger side kick panel

here.

Pull straight out on this, and then lift up and it will reveal your fuse panel.

I'm just gonna finish routing the rest of my wire right on over to our fuse panel.

I'll get a couple zip ties on that in a little bit.

All right.

Once you've got your fuse panel uncovered, we're gonna remove the 10 amp fuse in the

number 23 location.

Once we do that, we're gonna take our add a fuse here, stick the 10 amp fuse pin and

the 10 amp fuse that was provided in the kit.

And we'll go ahead and put this right back into number 23.

And I'm gonna replace the fuse panel cover now.

Next thing we wanna do is go into the last sheet of our instruction manual and grab our

template for our switch plate.

I'm gonna go ahead and cut this out now.

Next thing I'm gonna do is attach the switch plate bracket to our switch panel.

I'll get a screw started in this.

All right.

So we got our switch plate template cut out.

We're gonna place this on our center console, and you wanna line up the contour of the template

with the center console.

I have some painter's tape here.

And we're gonna tape this into place.

Next thing we need to do is take a center punch and mark the four holes on our template

here that needs to be drilled out.

Next thing we're gonna do is drill these four holes out with a quarter inch drill bit.

Once we've got our holes drilled here, we can remove our template.

All right.

We are gonna put the active exhaust switch through the center console.

We'll flip this over and make sure we are centered up.

We're gonna take the two push nuts that were provided and put one on each stud here.

What I'm gonna do is take a seven millimeter deep socket and push down on these and get

the other one started.

All right.

Now it's time to put our knob into place.

We're now ready to put our center console back into place.

So, I'm go ahead and grab this, make sure your e-brake handle is up.

First thing we wanna do is slide it over our e-brake handle, come back a little bit, and

we'll get our shift boot in position as well.

And before we go too much further, I'm gonna lift this up and we're gonna make our final

connection here.

This is our active switch panel.

This is the Roush harness and here is the connector off of the switch panel.

We're gonna go ahead and plug this in.

We're gonna finish plugging everything in here.

And we can snap our shift boot back into place now.

All right.

We can snap our side panels back into place now.

And we're gonna do the same thing on the other side.

And the last step here to complete our installation is to put the back seat back into place.

Once you've got it set, you're gonna wanna reach under here and feed your seat belts

back up into place.

All right.

So with our new Roush active exhaust installed, we have our switch panel right here.

And that gives us four different exhaust modes.

Start off with touring, sport, track, and custom.

Also this is an LED fault light.

This light will not illuminate.

The only time this light will illuminate is if there is a fault with the Roush active

system.

That's gonna wrap up our review and install.

20k subscribers

Thank you for subscribing to him

Since we are in a restaurant how did we meet?

How did we meet?

We met at a sushi restaurant and she was a waitres

What did you think when you saw me?

Good looking

You know what I thought?

So this is the uhhhh, Toridon?

you know what one thing for me that's really hard about dating you?

Is that you don't like my jokes

or you don't understand my jokes

Yeah we use a lot of sarcasm in American jokes

I hated it

that's what upsets me is I want to make you laugh all the time

I don't know if it's cultural difference or not

He is super easy going

I think, most of Americans are super easy going people

I mean thats good

But in Korea sometimes it is difficult

I'm serious did you know that?

And it seemed so scary Because everyone on the internet was saying that dating a Korean

is one of the hardest women to date in the whole world

What the fuck did it say?

Im serious it's because it was saying

Is it racist?

no, no, it didn't mean in a racist way

it was just saying all Korean girls have a lot of standards

there's a lot of things you have you have to do

like every 100 days, 20 days

couple rings couple clothing

Yeah, couple clothing

they want you to text them every 2 seconds

You have to call them every morning you have to call them every night

Its not true

fuck that information

but that's what the internet was telling me

So before I started dating you, I was really scared

that you were gonna be like that

but you ended up being not like that at all

So I got really lucky

what do you think of this place?

It's amazing. Look at it!

what do you think about today baby?

Great day

Was it?

But we argued again

We did have a two-hour argument

We always argue

I think its natural

I mean...

All couples argue

Yeah, it's impossible

i'm happy you guys think we have a perfect relationship

but we don't we argue a lot about stupid stuff

About culture differences

but the thing is by the end of the day

we always tell each other that we love each other

and we try our best to understand each other

even though sometimes we really it's really hard to understand one another

but we always try our best yeah?

Yeah, relationships suck haha

And they are hard

But you know

it's uhh

Its worth it in the end

I guess that's it

Have a wonderful day yeah?

Anyways, bye thanks for watching

She started crying :(

Yellowstone Steaming Acid Pools of Death - Duration: 3:15.

Yellowstone National Park is a popular destination for vacationers and nature lovers

but if you don't obey the parks rules and regulations

it's possible to end up in off-limits areas where the water is dangerous and even deadly.

How can Yellowstone's water kill someone? It all starts with the fact that Yellowstone is basically a giant volcano.

Hot Springs result from ancient rain water percolating through the Earth's crust and getting superheated by all that geological activity

That water can also come into contact with a huge variety of chemicals that like to hang out in volcanoes.

Those chemicals can make volcanic hot springs not just hot

but also pretty acidic... just not all the time. A study published in 2012 by researchers from the US Geological Survey

examined why not all of Yellowstone's hot springs are alike.

When hot spring water gets hot enough to boil, many of the volcanic gases that contribute to acidity, like hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide

can also vaporize and separate from the water,

meaning some volcanic waters, when they reach the surface are actually at a neutral to basic pH: around eight to ten.

Waters like these create Yellowstone's famous geysers. The acidic pools are often less spectacular in nature and more stagnant.

They actually occur when those volcanic gases meet groundwater. The carbon dioxide can dissolve in there and lower the pH.

And even more fun, exposure to atmospheric oxygen as well as heat-tolerant microbes can convert the hydrogen sulfide to

sulfuric acid so the crazy hot volcanic gases turn ordinary groundwater into

very hot acidic pools of pure danger...

Which brings us back to the handful of unfortunate folks who have died in Yellowstone's waters over the years.

Strong acids and bases can destroy tissues including tough ones like bone and hair.

But the pH of Yellowstone's acidic springs only goes down to around 2 which is enough to cause slight burns at room temperature,

but not enough to be super super deadly.

More dangerous than the acid in these springs is the considerable heat and

water temperatures in Yellowstone often register at 92 degrees Celsius --

about 200 degrees Fahrenheit -- and most springs are well over 150.

For reference, your hot tub should never be set above 104.

150 is getting into cooking temperatures. It's more than hot enough to be unsafe without the acid

although heat definitely makes acid burns worse too

Some hot springs mix with cooler ground water to make them safe to swim in on their own and

some, including boiling River in Yellowstone, can be mixed with cooler water deliberately for a comfortable swim...

But only in places where that's been determined to be safe.

What all this means is that hot springs are a wellspring of crazy

geochemistry and you definitely can't tell just from looking at them which ones will slow roast and dissolve you alive. So...

swim smart, okay?

LES BROWN: Finding Your Life's Purpose (Motivational video) - Duration: 4:54.

LES BROWN: I went for a walk in a park thinking about this guy whose life was so

promising and I mean he wasn't an old guy he was quite young in fact and I

thought about all of the things that he said he was going to do and he never got

a chance to do those things and I start thinking about my own life and how much

time I had left to do the things that I would like to do and at that time I

wasn't sure what my life purpose was what my life's work was I wasn't sure

about it at that time and I thought about it quite a lot I had some idea but

I wasn't convinced that I don't think I felt worthy I didn't believe that it

could be me to do this kind of work that I'm doing right now

and I say to you that if you begin to take a conscious effort to find out what

it is that you're supposed to do I say that it can literally save your life

human beings are the only living species that has achieved the dubious

distinction of dying or having a stroke or heart attack on a certain day if you

ask most people what would you say the primary cause of why people will have a

heart attack of stroke many people will say well because they smoke cigarettes

or because of high cholesterol or because of stress or because of obesity

and all of those things are contributing factors but ladies and gentlemen more

heart attacks take place in this country on Monday morning between 8:00 and 9:00

a.m. that's when the majority of people who have their first heart attacks have

them 85% of the American public according to recent studies are going to

jobs that they hate working on jobs that do not challenge them they get sick

thinking about going so I say that your life is worth climbing what it is that

you're supposed to do and I'm not saying quit your job I'm saying find it and do

just a little bit up but do find out what your work is and hold on to it and

don't let your dream go don't let it go see and here's something else I want you

to begin to look at why is it that most people don't pursue their dreams so

don't do better than what they're doing if they're capable of doing it I think

that many of us don't go the next step because we don't know what to do yet and

I say that that the reason that we don't even explore the possibility of what to

do is because subconsciously we don't believe that it can happen for us and we

don't believe that we deserve it so here's what I'm suggesting

how much time do you spend working on you how much time do you spend every day

working on your dream in the last 90 days how many books have you read in the

last year what new skill or knowledge have you acquired what kind of

investment have you made in you so I'm saying that as you begin to look at

where you want to go if you want to make it today and things are changing so fast

you have to literally run to standstill I'm saying that you've got to make some

conscious effort to begin to work to develop you here's something else most

people are not living their dreams because of fear ladies and gentlemen I

can't see myself doing it I guess I'm afraid fear limited vision and lack of

self-esteem is what keep most people doing things they don't want to do

fear is the most subtle and destructive of all human diseases ladies and

gentlemans fear kills dreams fear kills hope fear put people in the hospital

fear can age you can hold you back from doing something that you know within

yourself that you're capable of doing but it will paralyze you and it seem

like you're in a hypnotic spell and I asked you a question what is the benefit

what's the benefit of allowing fear to hold you back

Coolest Jobs In America: Los Angeles - Season 3 Trailer - Duration: 1:09.

When I'm casting I feel like I'm matching an actor with the project and

it gives me such a sense of fulfillment to see the dream come true it takes a

special eye to be able to match the right actor with the right project to me

the most valuable lesson I've learned about creating a television show is to

not be attached to the outcome. Be invested in fully in the process.

One of

my teachers said you can't write comedy in a vacuum it has to appeal to more

people than just yourself and if people can relate to your truth then everybody's

funny.

When my partner and I started the podcast we felt like there was all this

incredible information out there but we weren't connecting with the way that it

was being delivered to us and so we wanted to share it from the voice of

someone that would be just like us.

I started making my own super food recipes

at home initially just for myself I realized I wanted to share it with

everyone as well

IKEA Bathroom Storage Ideas - Storage For Small Bathrooms - Duration: 12:08.

Whatever the size of your bathroom, your creativity when it comes to storage can be the difference

between a well-organized space and a cluttered bathroom.

Besides the inconvenience of using a cluttered bathroom, cleaning a cramped space is a daunting

task.

The following bathroom storage ideas will give you the tips you need to make your bathroom

look tidy and elegant.

1.Freestanding Cabinet.

Having a freestanding cabinet near the shower ensures that towels, soaps, and toiletries

are always within reach.

An old, hardwood shelf that comes with a door can keep your fresh towels clean and free

of dust.

You can also use an open shelf if you want to keep your towels airy, especially if you

are using the rack as a temporary storage facility for these items.

2.

Under Sink Shelf.

Just like the kitchen cabinets, you can maximize the space in your bathroom by installing a

shelf below the sink.

The space below the sink is always difficult to clean, and that is why you are likely to

see some stains that are quite hard to clean.

Installing a rectangular shelf below the sink will also allow you to be more creative with

the floor tiles.

Use a bold color to frame the edge of the shelf and see how the new design improves

your floor patterns.

3.

Colorful Organizer.

With small bathrooms, every ounce of creativity counts.

As such, instead of blending with the rest of the décor, try a different route and stand

out.

A nice rack that comes with multi-colored members can stand out and introduce a focal

point in your powder room.

Juxtapose your shelf between a pair of ceramic sinks to provide acres of storage space plenty.

Choose the finishes that match your tastes and preferences.

For example, you can use a checkered backsplash to give your shelves some depth.

4.

Add-On Storage.

Add-ons are instrumental when you want to store some items on a temporary basis.

For instance, if you have a couple of wet towels, you can hang them below your main

cabinets.

Once you add some studs on the underside of your shelf, you will not have to worry about

your damp linen anymore.

5.

Antique Shelf Bathroom Storage.

A medium-height antique shelf serves as the perfect place to organize books, towels and

even a beautiful plant in this New York City home's bathroom with limited counter top and

cabinet storage.

6.

Fancy Closet.

Creating sufficient storage space in a tight space can be a great challenge.

Sometimes, you have to lock up the linen in a cleverly designed closet.

The cabinet door can double as an entryway to the walk-in closet.

Be sure to reveal a unique backsplash on your closet to create an accent on a bland wall

where nobody expects it.

You can also install a well-lit mirror or adorn the background with stained glass.

7.

Bookcase Bathroom Storage.

A towering bookcase is repurposed in a Tampa, Florida, home designed by Nate Berkus.

Rather than holding novels, here it's a home for towels and small decor items.

8.

Elevated Bathroom Storage.

open shelving above the his-and-her sinks is accompanied by sleek cabinets below and

a ladder-like storage unit for linens.

9.

Multiple Storage Ideas.

Managing your bathroom requirements might call for a combination of several storage

options.

You can apply a coat of paint on a couple of wooden crates to create a stack of as colorful

storage solutions.

10.

Custom Shelving Unit.

Modern homes come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

As such, the typical wardrobes and cabinets may not fit in the irregular shapes, especially

if you have a bathroom in the attic.

In such a case, you must customize the furnishings to adhere to the diagonal or sinuous walls.

The benefit of such radical architectural designs is that they allow you to achieve

more while doing less when it comes to storage.

that's all for now.

Jeep Wrangler JK FOX 2.0 Performance Reservoir Shocks for 1.5-3.5" Lift (2007-2018) Review & Install - Duration: 14:48.

Hey guys.

Today I'm here with the Fox Performance 2.0 Series reservoir shocks fitting all 2007 to

2018 JK Wranglers with 1.5 to 3.5 inches of lift.

This is gonna be a perfect option for you guys out there looking to improve your handling

with a long lasting and high-quality reservoir shock.

These will be a great option if you're out racing with your Jeep or if you're just looking

for a shock that can handle being worked all of the time.

So these are gonna be a great option if you're looking to pair this with a lift that does

not already come with shocks or are just looking to refresh all four corners of your Jeep since

this does come with the front and the back shocks.

At the moment, these are gonna be just shy of $900 which is actually gonna be your most

affordable option for a four pack of reservoir shocks.

Fox is a very big name in the suspension industry and I think that what you're getting with

these it's definitely worth the price.

Plus you're getting a one year warranty so you get a little bit of peace of mind in your

investment.

Install is gonna be a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.

However, it's nothing that you can't do in your driveway with some hand tools and a couple

of hours.

So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.

The tools that we use for this install are a three-eighths inch drive ratchet, a 16-millimeter

ratcheting wrench, a 16-millimeter open-ended or a box wrench, a three-fourths inch ratcheting

wrench or a 19-millimeter ratcheting wrench, an 18-millimeter open-ended or box wrench,

a pry bar, an extension, a 6 millimeter Allen key, a 16-millimeter swivel, an 18-millimeter

swivel, a 19-millimeter deep socket, an 18-millimeter deep socket, and an impact gun.

So our first step for replacing our shocks is to get our Jeep up in the air and take

our wheels and tires off.

So I'm gonna use a 19-millimeter sockets to get off our lugs and take off our wheels and

tires.

So after our wheels and tires are off we can take a couple pole jacks to support our axle.

So now that our axle is supported, we can remove our top shock bolt with a 16-millimeter

ratcheting wrench and a 16 millimeter open-ended or box wrench.

So, there is a chance that this car pole can snap, but the new shocks come with hardware

so that shouldn't be a problem.

So, now we can remove the bottom shock bolt using an 18-millimeter wrench and an 18-millimeter

socket.

I am using a swivel here because of clearance reasons, but if you have a ratchet and a regular

socket that should work just fine.

So after that bolt is out we can fully remove our shock.

After the one shock's out you can just repeat the process on the other side.

So the big difference that we see while we put the two shocks on the table is that our

new Fox shock has a reservoir compared to our standard factory monotube shock.

So a reservoir shock is gonna increase your valving and improve your dampening over time

because there's more oil inside the reservoir shock and it's gonna have better oil displacements

since you have some extra room to work with because of the reservoir.

So compared to a monotube shock, whether it be hydraulic or gas charged, everything's

happening in one chamber.

So now with a reservoir shock, you have some extra room to work with since there's more

oil.

So the gas and the oil will be separated by an internal floating piston.

So that's gonna be really good at reducing shock fade over time from cavitation or foaming

forming inside the shock when it's worked really hard like bumps at fast speeds or excessive

washboards.

So this is gonna be perfect for anybody who does any desert racing, any dune racing, and

just any fast pace Jeeping.

So our new shock is also gonna be a lot more durable on the outside compared to our factory

shock.

And it has a five-eighth inch chrome plated alloy steel shaft that is heat treated.

So this is gonna be able to take a hit on the trail compared to our factory shock that

might not hold up to any of that.

You're also getting a couple of little goodies around the shock that are gonna increase the

durability and the lifespan.

So you have a stainless steel graded line here connected to your reservoir that's gonna

protect your oil from any damage.

You have your nitrile bushings for noise reduction and a longer lifespan over time.

And you also get a clamp with this to clamp your reservoir to your shock body so it's

not bouncing around on the trail.

So enough about our stock shocks, let's install our new ones.

So now we're ready to install our new shock.

I would recommend that you keep the clamp off so you can maneuver the shock around and

then you can clamp everything on at the end.

So you will have to go behind this brake line to get everything lined up.

So once the shaft is in the top hole, you can maneuver the shock body around just like

our stock shock.

So this fitting is not touching the shock perch.

So before we secure down the shock with the bottom bolt we do have to make sure that there's

enough room for hardware up top.

So we're gonna install our hardware starting with the bushing and then the washer and then

the nut.

So before we tighten the hardware up top we need to insert the bottom bolt to keep our

shock body in place.

Now we can install our bottom shock bolt using the factory hardware on the bottom, and we'll

be using the new hardware on the top bolt.

So now we tighten down the top nut with a three-fourths inch ratcheting wrench or 19-millimeter

ratcheting wrench.

So now we can install our clamp to clamp down our reservoir to our shock body, making sure

it's out of the way of any moving parts like our spring on the left-hand side and our brake

line here on the right.

And your line will give you some resilience to get it up and out of the way.

And you can tighten down the Allen bolt with a 6-millimeter Allen key.

So now we can repeat the process on the other side.

So after we're done buttoning up the front, we're gonna take our pole jacks and support

our rear axle in order to take out our rear shocks.

So I'm gonna use an 18-millimeter wrench and an 18-millimeter socket and remove this bottom

bolt.

So now we can remove the top two bolts that are holding in our shock using a 16-millimeter

socket.

I'm using a swivel and an extension because they are up there and I need to get around

the rear sway bar.

So once all of those three bolts are out we can remove our shock.

It might take a little bit of a wiggle to get it out but it should just come right out.

A pry bar can help you get it unstuck and then you can fully remove your shock.

So now we can repeat the process on the other side.

You might have to play around with the height of the axle to get the bolt lined up enough

to come out.

But it should come out pretty easy.

So the back ones are pretty stiff in here.

So we're just gonna take our pry bar again and wedge it out.

So after our rear shocks are out we're gonna lower our pole jacks so we can fit in our

new and longer shocks.

So this is gonna help our axle droop a little bit so we can line everything up.

So now we're ready to install our shock.

So, you can let the shock sit there while you thread in your top bolts first, then we

can thread in the bottom bolt and tighten everything down at the end.

So once those are threaded in we can insert our bottom bolt.

Then we can go ahead and tighten everything down.

So, just like the front shocks, we're going to attach our clamp onto our rear shocks so

our reservoir is not just floating around.

You might have to loosen the bolt a little bit to get it around the reservoir and the

shock body.

After it's in place you can tighten it down with a 6-millimeter Allen key.

Now we can repeat the process again on the other side.

So after everything is tightened up in the rear we can remove our pole jacks and put

on our wheels and tires.

So that wraps it up for my review and install.

If you're the owner of an '07 to '18 JK with a 1.5 to 3.5-inch lift, if you're looking

for a quality and affordable reservoir shock you can find the Fox 2.0 Performance Series

reservoir shocks right here at extremeterrain.com.
