you run around with losers you'll end up

a loser

unconsciously unconsciously you will

pick up their ways you'll pick up their

habits you'll pick up most importantly

their attitude about life if you around

cynical negative people all the time you

will become cynical and negative so you

got to watch yourself many of us are

living out the lives of other people

living out their conclusions living out

of their consciousness the other thing

is that you begin to look at looking at

your life and looking at what it is that

you want to achieve another crucial

thing that you must do is align yourself

with powerful people align yourself with

people that can encourage you people

that can empower you people that you can

learn from people that you can grow from

you want to align yourself with people

who think like you people who dream like

you people who want more out of life

people that are stretching and searching

and seeking some higher ground in life

[Music]

see it's easy to be on the bottom it

doesn't take any effort a bit looser

doesn't take any motivation any Drive in

order to stay down there in a low level

but it calls on everything in you ladies

and gentlemen you have to harness your

will to say I'm going to challenge

myself sometimes I have to pull myself

out of Mantic come on less things I know

I should do I don't do things I

shouldn't do I do I found that the

biggest enemy you have to deal with is

yourself

[Music]

we're talking about to girl people

somebody's got to surrender you talk

about wheel now you're talking about

heart now you're not talking about

physicality you're not talking about how

you look you're not talking about how

strong you are you're not talking about

how tall you are how fit you are you're

talking about wheel you're talking about

when you get to the point where it's two

people and somebody got to tap out

before the other person taps out will

hearts

and so it is a mentality thing I love

about Michael Jordan with Michael Jordan

play Michael Jordan had the flu he still

put up 38 points he played every single

minute took a break and got some day to

read and came back got some water came

back right because he understood

I gotta want this thing and I can't take

a deal like if I don't play this playoff

game there might not be another playoff

game and so what I need you understand

when you do what you do listen to me I'm

not talking about what you do there

because what you do there has absolutely

nothing to do with making that person

surrender what you do there has

everything to do it what time you wake

up what is it that you're doing right

now that would be a liability for you as

you begin to look toward the future and

take inventory of yourself what is it

about you right now that you've got to

leave this behind because this no longer

fists looking at where you want to go

and the kind of person that you must

become the kind of standards that you

have for you what is it that you must do

differently

unless you change the way you're

thinking unless you change your behavior

you're gonna continue to produce the

results in your life see all of us are

winners because some of us are producing

results that we don't want and so all

you have to look at your game plan look

at your strategy how is it that you have

been being what is it that you've been

doing to produce this so you're the

director you are the producer you're

writing the script you have a star of

your life and as you begin to look at

your life you can decide whether or not

it's a smash or whether or not it's a

flop that's in your hands look at your

life look at where you want to go don't

worry about your circumstances don't

worry about your age

do you want to make this your decade

you've got to start saying yes to your

life you've got to start saying yes to

your dreams yes to your unfolding future

yes to your potential so you've got to

make a conscious deliberate determined

effort to say yes to your dreams why not

why not me don't spend time like most

people going through life complaining

use that energy to get up from then move

on and get on with your life

you got to learn to let the past go so

you can grow many people never act on

their dreams because they allow their

past experiences to determine what their

possibilities are whatever you've done

in the past that's not a reflection of

your possibilities that's just a

reflection of your consciousness that's

just a reflection of your development

and your growth the future is unfolding

for you right now the future is

unlimited for you right now

no one knows where you can go no one

knows what your pop what you're capable

of what's possible for you it has

everything to do with how you eat it has

everything to do with how you work out

how you prepare it has every single

thing to do it how you think

it has every single thing to do it

nothing about this but everything you do

as you're getting prepared for that and

when you want it as bad as you wanna

breathe says I'm willing to make any

sacrifice I willing to go through any

pain I willing to go through anything

suffering I want to go through whatever

it take so when I get in there and

there's million here 101 that I

guarantee you at the end of it I won't

be the one that surrender nobody goes in

there to lose you both want the exact

same thing

you both got family out there you both

got friends out there you go you both

got people who are investing their time

and their resources and their wisdom and

you both got guys out there who at the

end of the day want a smile but but at

the end of the day the person that will

surrender is the person that didn't work

as hard as the other person

I guarantee you that its trainer and

Senate he did this and he did die he did

this and he did that I guarantee you

that this person just started doing this

for the first time and some of you in

here you on the upswing like for real

you trying to get back you trying to get

back to a certain place you're trying to

you're trying to make a name for

yourself and I'm telling you this is the

opportunity to do it but what do you

have to do you got to work harder than

the other person no one could have

convinced me that I was able to do this

we have the power to change our personal

history changing the direction of our

lives changing our thoughts changing

where we want to go exploring new

horizons so you begin to look at this

decade and affirming that this is your

decade as you set goals that will make

you stretch that will bring out the best

in you and you begin to remove the

negative toxic people from your life as

you decide to take some chances in life

and that's one of the things that's very

important this card said if you're not

willing to risk you cannot grow and if

you cannot grow you cannot become your

best and if you cannot become your best

you cannot be happy and if you can't be

happy and what else is there

[Music]

so just when you felt like you did that

last rep and your muscles are saying

this I can't do the more reps you say I

can hear you got to do

cuz right now why are you quitting he

might be doing five more why are you

quitting and giving up while you saying

I did enough it's time to rest he might

just be getting he might just be getting

his own

the harder you work the harder it is to

surrender I told mr. Washington I wanted

to become a disc jockey someone asked me

to tell this story and he said Les Brown

he said if you want to do anything

worthwhile in life you've got to be

hungry and so I started working to

develop myself he said I want you to

practice every day being a disc jockey I

said but I don't have any job now he

said it doesn't matter he said that it's

better to be prepared for an opportunity

and not have one than to have an

opportunity and not be prepared so every

day I was working to develop myself and

that's what you must do and as I was

working to develop myself I applied for

a job as a disc jockey WM VMI Miami

Beach went to a guy named Milton

butterball I said how you doing mr.

butterball I like to get a job as a disc

jockey he looked at me said you haven't

even broadcast background I said no sir

don't you have any journalism background

I said no sir don't he said we don't

have any jobs available I said yes sir

I went back to mr. Washington and I told

him he said don't take it personally he

said most people are so negative they

will have to say no seven times before

they say yes he said go back again so I

went back again I said how you doing mr.

butterball my name is les brown he said

I know what your name is what do you

want

I said I'd like to know whether or not

you have any jobs at this jockey sir is

that didn't I just tell you yesterday we

didn't have any jobs I said yes sir but

I know whether or not somebody got laid

off but somebody was fired sir he said

no one was laid off a find I get on out

of here

I came back the next day hello mr.

butterball how are you he said fine what

do you want now I said I like to know

whether or not you got any jobs sir

they better tell you the last two days

we didn't have any jobs I said yes sir

but I don't know whether not somebody

got sick of somebody died sir

he said no one got sick and died I don't

come back here throw me out again I came

back the next day like I was seeing him

for the first time

officer butterball how are you he looked

at me with rage he said go get me some

coffee I said yes sir

[Applause]

and I went to get in some coffee after a

while I would give their lunch and

dinner and I would go in the control

rooms and take the disk jockeys their

food and I would not leave until they

would ask me to leave then they'd

started trusting me to pick up

entertainers that came to town and

attend is like the Four Tops and the

temptations and data Ross and The

Supremes I will drive them all over

Miami Beach in the disc jockeys big long

Cadillacs

I didn't have any driver's license but I

was driving like a handsaw and one day

one Saturday afternoon while I was at

the radio station a guy named Rock was

drinking while he was on the air I was

the only one there looking at him

through the control room windows walking

back and forth young ready and hungry

I'll send Greg Rock drink

Greg Rock I'm going to get him some more

if he'd asked me to pretty soon the

phone rang and was a general manager and

answered the phone I said hello he's

unless this is mr. Klein I said I know

he said Rock can't finish his program I

said I know he said would you call one

of the other DJs in I said yes sir I

hung the phone up I said now he must be

think I'm crazy I called my mom and my

girlfriend Cassandra I said y'all turn

up the radio and come out on the front

porch I'm about to come on the air

I waited for about 20 minutes and I call

him back I said mr. Klein I can't find

nobody he's a young boy do you not have

worked in controls I said yes sir he

said go on then don't say down here I

say yes I couldn't wait to get behind

those controls I'll put on old Stevie

Wonder record call fingertips i sat down

behind that turntable I said look out

this is me LV Triple P let's round your

platter playing papa

they were none before me and there will

be none after me therefore that makes me

the one and only young and single and

loved Domingo certified bonafide and you

will be qualified to bring you

satisfaction the whole out of action

look out me them your love man I was

hungry

Fed's rate freeze gives Bank of Korea room to breathe: Expert - Duration: 2:02.

The U.S. Federal Reserve is keeping its interest rates unchanged, emphasizing its economy is

strong, hinting at a hike in September.

When that happens, how will Seoul be affected…and what can the nation do to be best prepared

for the inevitable?

Our Ko Roon-hee turned to some experts for their analysis.

As expected, the Fed kept its benchmark rates unchanged at a range of 1-and-three-quarters

to 2 percent... boosting expectations that it'll raise rates in September.

This means the Korean economy have until next month to adjust to the changes.

A local expert says it's highly likely that the Bank of Korea will keep its own key interest

rate unchanged later this month on August 31st.

"If the Federal Reserve raised (the rate) today, then the Bank of Korea should have

raised another quarter percentage point, but the Federal Reserve decided to postpone until

September, so I think the Bank of Korea has earned another one month for taking breath."

Another expert added that this extra time is important because Fed's rate hike could

not only cause capital flight from Korea… but could also negatively affect the country's

exports.

"If the Fed raises rates, financial markets in emerging economies tend to get shaken up,

as seen in the first half this year.

And since Korea relies heavily on exports, it could affect Korea's real economy."

An advance estimate of GDP for the second quarter released last Friday,... showed that

the U.S. economy is growing at an annual rate of 4-point-1 percent,... the fastest rate

in nearly four years.

The BOK kept its rate steady for the eighth straight month in July at one-point-five-percent.

At present, the U.S. benchmark rate is zero-point-five percentage points higher than that of Korea's.

Ko Roon-hee, Arirang News.

Cuánto DINERO💲PUEDES GANAR con tu CANAL en YOUTUBE en 2018 - Duration: 12:34.

how much money do you think you can win with

an account on youtube truth is that

there is no single answer to this

question since the number of

Views followers or not

Why indicate that two channels in

same conditions to obtain the same

income and that depending on the

sectors for example can change

greatly in today's video I love you

show tool

supposedly he tells you what you gain with

your YouTube channel

[Music]

entrepreneurs hello my name in life

is John Merolla and welcome to a new

money calculator y me dice bueno

concreto y no sé vamos a buscar a ver

potencialmente voy a coger otro vídeo

coger voy a poner

veces queremos monetizar mucha gente me

pregunto hoy a juan quiero ganar dinero

alguien quiere invertir esa cantidad

internacionales

seguro no sé si hoy mañana

proyecto sino unos avales fuertes y tal

manera

decir valor no me interesa

Hi welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

The China Uncensored crew was recently at the Oslo Freedom Forum in Norway.

one of the largest human rights conferences in the world.

We met up with Mu Sochua,

a former member of the Cambodian Parliament,

now turned rights activist.

She sat down with Shelley Zhang to discuss

the Chinese Communist Party's growing influence in Cambodia.

Thank you so much for joining us Sochua.

So you're one of the leaders of the opposition party in Cambodia,

and although we're mostly going be talking about China and Cambodia,

could you just give us a brief look at what's happening

right now with the Cambodian government?

I want to start by saying that democracy is dead in Cambodia...

the Prime Minister of Cambodia,

Mr. Hun Sen is a former Khmer Rouge,

so we still live through the legacy of Khmer Rouge.

So, Mr. Hun Sen, what he wants,

is to continue his power,

and has been in power for over thirty-four years.

So in order to stay in power,

he has to eliminate all forces that are for democracy,

including civil society, independent media,

even international organizations like the National Democratic Institute.

Then, he turned on us the Opposition,

the Cambodian National Rescue Party,

and the party now is dissolved as of last November.

So let's talk a little bit about the Chinese goverment

and how it relates to what's happening in Cambodia

What's the relationship between Hun Sen

and the Chinese government?

Mr. Hun Sen, his only concern is how to keep power.

And every time he is confronting us,

confronting the people,

there is a crisis in Cambodia,

he goes straight to China.

And every time he goes there,

he comes back with gifts from China.

What are the gifts?

Millions of dollars, more roads, more bridges.

And also more port, and also more military equipment.

And we know that some of the tanks,

some of these barbed wires have the equipment

that are worn--

these uniforms used by the anti-riot police

that crack down on us,

come from China.

Hun Sen knows if he keeps the Opposition alive,

to compete with him in the July election,

he will lose again.

We have gained over forty-four percent of the vote,

half of the country.

And half of the people in Cambodia are still angry.

Angry because they wake up,

our farmers wake up and the land is gone.

The land is given to Chinese companies by the prime minister.

In the so-called policy of economic land concessions.

So what are they giving the land for?

In the province of Koh Kong in the south, the land--

tens and thousands of hectares of land--

communities that used to belong to the indigenous communities,

given to Chinese--

one company to build a golf course.

Cambodia, especially our farmers,

do not need a golf course,

we don't need more resort where

Cambodian local people cannot afford,

not even a room, but even a glass of water.

So the resorts are built for whom?

We don't know.

See the problem is these land concessions given

to Chinese companies are given by the prime minister

and there's no transparency whatsoever.

The only way we know is that the people are

forced out of their land,

like our fishermen, our farmers,

forced out of the land and put in jail if they protest.

So let's talk a little bit about the port that you mentioned.

So there's a Chinese company, Union Development,

that was given a ninety-nine year lease

on twenty percent of Cambodia's coastline.

So the government just...

Were there no Cambodian companies that wanted

to develop the port or what happened?

Again, under the name of Development,

Cambodia is either for sale or given for free...

Why?

What is happening inside,

what is gone, like especially the port.

Outside independent experts cannot go in,

not at all.

And then the so-called environmental assessment,

evaluation, is never done independently,

or with any sense of transparency or accountability.

One Belt One Road,

goes from the north of Cambodia

all the way to the south where the port is.

So everything can be taken out of Cambodia

to go out of Cambodia to China.

And the problem today is that the Opposition,

the civil society, the human rights organizations

are no longer allowed to follow,

as we are not even inside Cambodia.

We are in exile, our seats as parliamentarians

have been taken away from us,

our party is dissolved.

So who's looking after Cambodia?

No one.

Apparently not Hun Sen government.

Apparently not.

So how is China keeping Hun Sen in power?

Hun Sen now is saying,

"The Opposition is under the U.S.,

the revolution that the Opposition is organizing

is actually funded by the U.S."

That's the theory of Mr. Hun Sen.

Therefore he must go to China...

Mr. Hun Sen chooses to go to China

because there is no check and balance required,

because there is no protection of human rights required by China.

That's true, the Chinese government

doesn't care if he oppresses his people.

But we care.

We care.

And to us, the only way to be friend with China

on a equal term, equal footing,

is for us to be able to grow and economically

sustain these growth with a economically sound policy...

Another thing that we are very concerned about

is that another port area, Kampong Som, Sihanoukville,

now has twenty casinos.

Twenty casinos built by China.

Who's going to the casinos?

Chinese.

Because the local people

cannot legally enter a casino.

And these are the companies,

the Chinese companies they don't really care about local quality of life?

Not at all...

And then you have the Chinese mafia along the coast,

even the governor himself has written

a report to Mr. Hun Sen and say,

"Mr. Prime Minister, I cannot control my province anymore.

It's out of control."

And Mr. Hun Sen say, "Don't talk about it."...

And not only that, the Chinese there are creating chaos.

They can beat up the local people, and the local police,

our police, cannot protect our people because they're

afraid of the Chinese mafia company,

and because Mr. Hun Sen's boss is China.

So there are actually a lot of Chinese Cambodians in Cambodia.

Is the problem with the current Chinese government

causing tensions between the Chinese in Cambodia,

and Cambodians?

What we are saying is that it's not China as a country that we are afraid of

because like me, I'm half Chinese.

The Chinese people are our friends.

It's the policy of China today,

vis a vis the global world,

and its policy of taking over,

controlling the world,

that makes us want to rise up,

not against the Chinese people.

We have Chinese people.

We have ethnic Chinese, about 10%.

I speak Chinese.

My grandfather came from China.

But, China then is not China now.

We didn't lose our land

and there was cultural interaction into marriages.

But today because of what China is doing to us,

there is friction growing and that's not what we want.

So, is there anything that the Cambodian people

can do about this?

We are not giving up.

We must protect our land.

We must protect Cambodia...

We are about less than two months before election

and this is key...

If we leave Cambodia as it is,

Cambodia is a liability to the region.

It will go and turn into economic, social and political instability.

This is a security issue,

a regional security issue and we need to solve it now.

Coming from Cambodia,

a place where all this is happening,

do you have something to say to the rest of the world

about dealing with the Chinese government?

Here I am at the Oslo Freedom Forum.

Before coming here I was saying,

"What should we do?"

This is ... We're going to lose our people,

people who are still inside?

Our leader, who is in jail.

By coming here to the Oslo Freedom Forum ,

and hearing how other countries

who have been damaged by dictators,

dictators who need the support of China.

I feel this unity.

I feel that we're speaking one language,

the language of freedom of liberty and democracy,

and we have to say to the countries that believe in democracy,

don't give up on us.

There are institutions,

there are mechanisms like the UN.

Use it, use it to put pressure.

You put pressure,

the measures that can be taken

such as economic sanctions,

such as targeted sanctions.

Like visa ban on those officials close to even Mr. Hun Sen.

Why should he be allowed to go to the United States?

To France, to Norway, to any country.

To any country that was part of the Schengen.

Stop it.

We can together talk about freezing of assets.

I am very inspired by the Global Magnitsky Act

adopted in the United States and it is being applied now...

Now I think there is hope,

but we have to use the international mechanism

to deal with these dictators.

At the end of the day,

I think Mr. Hun Sen needs legacy,

He needs legacy.

Mr. Hun Sen wants to travel to New York

to the UN General Assembly session.

It is there,

it is that mechanism that dictators like Mr. Hun Sen

must go and face the people of the world,

and that's why international community

should not abandon each other,

get on the same wagon and that's how we deal with China.

Thank you so much.

Thank you.

Thanks for watching.

Kids Meet A Mountaineer | Kids Meet | HiHo Kids - Duration: 7:18.

- I've watched this one show and there's this guy

who could, like, go up to the mountain

without, like, an oxygen tank.

Can you do that?

- I can.

One time, I summited Mount Everest

without using any oxygen at all.

- So you're like a superhero?

- Pretty much.

(gentle instrumental music)

- Hello, my name is Xander.

- Hi, I'm Melissa.

- Nice to meet you.

- Yeah, nice to meet you.

What's your name?

- Justin.

- Hi, Justin, I'm Melissa.

What's your name?

- Gigi.

- What do you think me job is?

- A mom?

- (laughing) I'm a mom but I have another job too.

I climb mountains for my job.

- That's scary.

- Have you ever gone hiking?

- Yes.

- Where'd you go hiking?

- Mount Rainier, I think it was.

- Mount Rainier is the first big mountain that I climbed.

It's mostly where I work and I climb

and guide people all the way to the summit.

Have you ever climbed a mountain?

- Not that I know of.

- I really think that that stuff is dangerous.

- Did you used to hike when you were my age?

- My parents really wanted me to go hiking

'cause they liked hiking but I said,

"I don't wanna do that if that's what you like to do."

And so guess how old I was the first time I went hiking.

- Five?

- I was 20, 20!

- Geez, and now you really like it.

- And now it's my job.

- What's the biggest mountain you climbed?

- The biggest mountain that I've ever climbed is

Mount Everest and it's the biggest mountain in the world.

- Have you went to the top of it?

- All the way to the top six times.

Do you know anything about climbing Mount Everest?

- It's extremely dangerous.

- It can be extremely dangerous, yep.

- How deep is the snow?

- Hundreds of feet, like deeper than

the tallest buildings in Seattle.

Crazy, huh?

Sometimes there's big cracks and you can look down in

and you can just see until you can't see anymore.

- That's creepy.

- How much time does it take?

- What would you guess if you had to guess?

- Probably a day or two?

- 60 days.

- What?

- That's like your guys's whole entire summer vacation.

- What's your feeling when you reach the top of

any mountain but especially Mount Everest?

- It's the most scared I feel on any climb

because you're, like, literally at the halfway point

'cause you still have to get all the way down.

So I always feel, like, a little bit nervous

when I'm on the summit.

Right now we're at sea level, which means we're at,

like, zero feet above the level of the sea

and an airplane flies how many feet,

do you think, above the sea?

- 600 feet?

- So they fly 30 thousand feet,

and so that's the same height as Mount Everest.

Mount Everest is 29 thousand feet above sea level.

So you're, like, way up where airplanes fly.

If an airplane flew by you could just,

like, wave to the passengers inside. (chuckling)

On the summit of Mount Everest,

you can see until the Earth starts to tilt.

So you can see that it's round.

Like, everything just starts to drop off on all the sides.

- That's awesome.

- Yeah, it is really awesome.

- Have you, like, touched a cloud

when you are climbing a mountain?

- Yeah, sometimes they come and they're,

like, all around you.

It looks like you're on the inside of a ping-pong ball.

Everything's just white all around

and you can't tell which way is up.

- Wait, can you float in a cloud

or if you let go do you just fall to the ground?

- Well, it's like the clouds float,

but you just stay the same.

So, like, the clouds move around you,

but you can't really float.

- What kind of animals have you seen up there?

- Do you know what a Yeti is?

- Yeah.

- I've seen gigantic tracks, like,

that could've belonged to a Yeti.

- Whoa.

- I really don't think they're real.

- You don't?

I don't know what to think.

- All of those footprints are just bears.

- But bears usually walk on the four feet

and there's only two feet for the Yeti prints.

But I don't know.

- What gear do you use?

- Well, because it's so cold, one of the main things

we use is a down suit, wanna see it?

- Yes.

Whoa.

- It's basically my superhero costume.

- All you need is a little mask.

- We wear goggles or sunglasses,

so I kind of have, like, a mask.

- And then all you need is a cape.

- I think a cape would be good.

(kids and Melissa laughing)

(mom cheering)

(kids and Melissa laughing)

- Did this suit make it to the top of Everest?

- It did.

- [Kid] I feel like I can just sleep in this.

- I know, well we do.

Sometimes you don't even bring a sleeping bag,

you just sleep inside this 'cause it's so warm.

- So I heard you're actually the first American woman

to not use oxygen, right?

- Yeah, exactly.

Five times I summited using oxygen

and one time I summited without using oxygen.

- Who'd you go with without oxygen?

- With my husband and he was my boyfriend at that time,

but he asked me to marry him on the summit.

- And then were you, like, kinda scared though,

because you had to get back down?

- I was like, "We don't have time to talk about

"this right now, we'll talk about it later." (chuckling)

- Does anybody die?

- Yeah, people have died climbing in the mountains

'cause sometimes they're not prepared

or sometimes just accidents happen.

- Have you seen any dead bodies on Everest?

- Yeah, one year I was climbing and somebody had

just died, like, two days before that.

- Oh, yeah.

- And that was, I think, in some ways, like,

the saddest and scariest because I wasn't

really sure if he was dead or not,

and so I had to go and check and see if he was dead

'cause I felt bad if he wasn't dead that people were

just leaving him there but he was dead.

- Have you ever thought you were gonna die?

- If I get really scared and I think it's likely

that something bad's gonna happen I'll turn around.

I've had to turn around four times on Everest;

one time on, like, the 58th day.

When I think of all of my climbs,

I actually kind of am more proud of the

times I turned around than the ones I went to

the summit 'cause I feel like I made

really good decisions at that time.

- Yeah.

- Well, I have a question.

- Yeah?

- So what if you need to go to the bathroom

when you're climbing the mountain?

- We actually go poop inside these bags

and then you have to carry it down.

(girl laughing)

So you guys wanna see the bag that you poop in?

I have a new one, don't worry.

This is where we go to the bathroom.

This is basically a litter box inside of here.

There's, like, litter in there.

(Melissa laughing)

- Have you ever gone number two at the top of Mount Everest?

- Nope, I do a lot of planning to make sure

that that doesn't happen.

- Does the poop freeze?

- It does.

- I don't think I should be talking about this stuff.

(Melissa laughing)

- We talk about it all the time, Logan.

- Are you gonna go on Everest again?

- I don't know.

You know, I've been thinking a lot about that.

Now that I have a baby I feel like

I'm gonna take a little bit of a break

from climbing the really big mountains

because I wanna make sure that my daughter is okay

with me going and climbing those big mountains.

If your parents asked you, like,

"Is it okay if we do this thing that's dangerous,"

do you feel like you would be able to

say, like, yes or no?

- I would say no.

- Yeah, for everything?

Just 'cause you go climb Mount Everest

doesn't mean you're gonna die, you know?

- That's true but it's a pretty large risk.

- It is a big risk.

What age do you think I should wait to ask her?

- Maybe, like, 13?

- Yeah, I mean, that's probably a good age.

- How many mountains do you have left to climb?

- Well, there's so many mountains in the world

and I wanna try to keep climbing them

until I absolutely can't climb anymore.

- I thought there's, like, only eight mountains.

- There's, like, eight mountains

probably right around your house.

- I'm eight years old.

- Well, you know what, eight mountains would be

a good number for you to try to climb sometime.

- I don't think I should.

- Would you ever climb a mountain?

- Maybe one year, can kids do it?

- You can definitely climb Mount Rainier.

- Mom, sign me up.

(Melissa laughing)

- Hey, I'm Melissa.

NEW! Fancy Party - Talking Tom and Friends | Season 3 Episode 12 - Duration: 11:03.

[both humming]

Well, we are finally going to be where we belong,

hobnobbing with the fancy people at the Change the Children charity gala.

I don't know why I have to go. You're the mayor, not me.

Well, this party is a huge opportunity to meet important people

-and show off our inventions. -But what if I don't fit in?

What if I eat wrong then they throw little pickles at me?

-Oh! -[gasps]

[Tom] Wow!

Angela, you look like a French Christmas present.

Thanks! I didn't have anything formal, so I just put bows on an old dress.

I'm Mayor Tom, and I approve of those bows.

Just look at us! We have come so far.

So, you guys got dressed up, too?

Yep. This baby is from back in the day when I was working as a bow-tie model.

Funny story. I went in thinking they were looking for a glow-tie model--

Hank! I just don't know.

You guys probably won't be comfortable brushing elbows with fancy people.

Yes, we would. Look! We're already wearing elbow brushes.

Not to be mean, but you guys are too immature and silly for a fancy party.

You'll embarrass us.

You're immature and silly, Tom, and your butt will embarrass us!

-Mm-hm! -Why aren't they going?

-Can they take my spot? -No. Now, keep this thing on.

You look like a common garage person without it.

Fancy parties really change people.

Looks like I wore my glow tie for nothing.

♪ Wa-oah ♪

-[hum of conversation, lounge music] -Wow! Look at this place!

-Time to mingle with the fancy folk. -I'm great at mingling.

And I'm good at standing perfectly still and just hoping that nobody notices me.

No, Ben. You're at this charity event for one reason.

Everyone, go find a rich person to impress.

You know, for the children!

Hey! Do I look like I work here?

And the answer is yes. Yes, I do.

Serving girl, direct me to the cheese plates.

[gasps] Autumn Summers? My old nemesis.

-It's a neck-tacula. -I know what I said!

Autumn Summers, you know what? We don't want to sell our scarves here.

You'll never warm a neck again!

All right, Angela. Snap back into it.

I am here to mingle, small-talk, and not--

No, but-- You-- Huh.

Well, hello, there. I'm Tom - Mayor Tom.

-I'm Rich. -Ha-ha! Yes, I can tell you are!

No, Rich is my name. Rich Guy.

Wha-- What are you doing?

-You've never seen a wishing shredder? -Oh, I get it.

-It's like an expensive wishing well. -Aw. First time using one?

Of course not! No, no.

I-I completely fit in here. Are you impressed? Because you should be.

[clears throat] Uh, it seems I only have a one.

Care to get more money to make a proper wish?

No, no, no. A onesie wish will have to do.

[laughs nervously]

Um, remind me, how exactly does this help the charity?

If you have to ask, you probably don't belong at this party.

Uh... He--

Agh!

Uh. Tom wants me to mingle, but how?

All I know is facts, and that never helps anyone in any social situation.

Oh! So many cheeses!

But which do I eat first?

Hehe. Looks like she could use some cheese facts, actually.

No, Ben. Cheese facts are not for parties!

-I suppose I'll choose at random. -Random?

No, no, no.

Wait! The white cheese is the Geschmack Krieg and the other is the Dag Schkol.

For the proper experience you have to eat the Krieg after the Schkol.

-What did you just say to me? -Oh, boy. I shouldn't have spoken.

I'll let myself out through the back, so I don't cause a scene.

I bet if we had a gala, it'd be way more fancy than theirs!

Ha, I'm... Sorry. I guess I don't know all the fancy rules yet.

Still new to the fancy party scene. So, hi.

Ben, this event is neutral ground.

In here, we're both just fancy people.

I don't even want to know what your new inventions are.

Well, that's a relief. Plus, I really only brought my De-Raisiner.

-It turns raisins back into grapes. -Interesting.

Two foods that have nothing to do with each other.

Uh, you do know a raisin is a grape that's been dried up in the sun, right?

Um, uh... Of course I do! Please, no more shop talk.

Let's put our devices and inventions in the neutral ground security box

so we won't be tempted to talk about them.

What a great idea!

Well, I'm starting to fit in here, just like Tom and Angela must be.

-Ha-ha-ha. -Ha-ha! Yes! Ha-ha-ha-ha.

Quite. Ha-ha. Hey.

Speaking of chewing, where's that waitress who keeps saying she's not a waitress?

I'm not a waitress! See what I'm dealing with?

Yeah. I'm sorry you're having such a bad time.

I'm fitting in really well with the rich people,

What are you talking about, Tom? This is going really well. I'm in my element.

-One of which is barium. -[laughter]

Yeah, well, Angela's not having the awesome time that both of us are,

When I gaze up at the small birds,

I put a piece of bread in the toaster

and today starts

The city is shining brilliantly

and everyone is laughing brightly

the street continuing towards the plaza

swayed with green hair

Ah yay yay

It seems like I've accidently dozed off

A noon ten teke ten tenten

The~re! pin piki pin pin pin

The sun climbs the roof

Playing, ten teke ten tenten, a tenten tenten

I run downhill

and stop at the traffic light

looking left, looking right

let's look right once more and then cross

today's another cheerful day

The city is shining brilliantly

and everyone is laughing brightly

the clouds reflected on the car's hood

calmly flowed through the sky

Ah hoo hoo

When I go on a trip,

it feels great going wherever I feel like

Ah hoo hoo

Ah yay

Ah hoo

yay yay

Shadows stretch during the evening

lining up, light shines through

the sound of a bouncing ball somewhere

spread through the sky

stillness flickers and dances

The clock's bell resounded

the small birds flapped their wings

and crossed over to today

the world continues

and then continues on

The city is shining brilliantly

connecting towards the next tomorrow brightly

the setting sun's light

reflects the sky from another day

The rain falls and I'm soaked

as I walk through puddles today as well

the weather finally clears once again, and then tomorrow comes

the city is laughing brightly today as well

Ah yay yay

Ah hoo hoo

Ah yay yay

Ah hoooooo
