On August 1st, Nintendo released an update with new weapons and a new map.
Ancho-V Games, which was already in Splatoon 1, is back, but now
in Splatoon 2.
On this map, some players found glitches.
You must know that Ancho-V Games has moving plateforms
and you have to shoot at fans to make them move.
And in Splatoon, when there is motion in the arena, usually you can find
many glitches, and here they are! As soon as the map was released, on the very first day,
several players discovered glitches.
And in this video, we will talk about some glitches which appeared
with this update.
First, let's see the only glitch that is not related to Ancho-V Games,
but related to the new weapon: the Bloblobber.
The Bloblobber is a weapon which enables you to throw some boucing bubbles, and they bounce on the ground and the walls.
It turns out you can make the bubbles glitch in the Shooting Range.
It is not very easy to do, you have to be at the right spot
and shoot in the right direction.
It seems like we can make the bubbles glitch in the test dummies,
an even if it is not useful, well, it is interesting to see that
this new game mechanics can have some flaws.
There may be some new ones discovered in the future.
We can easily think of a nerf for this weapon in the future.
Especially because of its phenomenal range.
You may know that its range is not really defined, but the bubbles disappear
after the third bounce.
So, on very vertical maps like Moray Towers, for instance,
well, our shots can be really long range.
As you can see here, we can hit the shield of the Rainmaker from very far,
and we can assume that the Nintendo developpers didn't anticipate this
and that they will correct it sooner or later.
Second little glitch which is not exactly one, but more something developpers
didn't anticipate as well.
It is on Ancho-V Games, this time. Well, on the left of the map,
when you come out of your spawn.
If you go to the end of the alley, you end up in a small square area.
And if the plateform is not spread out, at first glance, you can't go through
to reach the central area of the map.
It is not exactly true, actually, because if your time is precise enoughwhen you jump,
well, even without swimming speed, it is possible to reach
the centre of the map.
Did the developpers plan that?
Or is something they didn't anticipate?
Will they widen up the space between these two platforms in the future?
Well, we don't know and we have to wait and see.
Just so you know, this jup is still possible as of today, you just have to be accurate!
Let's move on and deal with a weird bug.
I don't have a proper explanation, and the person who published it
on Twitter may not as well.
On this arena, the player was in a private battle and played it rather normal,
he was rolling, and shooting here and there.
But then, as he was trying to Super Jump, well, he couldn't!
His squid was turning around, and disappeared,
and then a weird bug appeared on his screen, he couldn't do anything, as if
he entered the Twilight Zone after being splatted, to finally end up dying again
and reappearing at the spawn, as usual.
What happened here? Well, there is no real explanation.
What did trigger that glitch? We don't know either. Well, what is for sure
is that some weird things are happening on this map.
Fourth glitch: let's continue with the weird things.
And this time, it deals with the people who enjoy having fun with the Super Jump tricks.
As I told you before, there are moving platforms, and if you play a little
with those platforms and the super jumps, especially the Ink-jet ones, well, it is possible
sometimes to create a glitch in the game.
And on this footage, we can see a player who succeeded in reappearing inside
the desk, while the game is supposed to deal with conflicts such as this one.
I checked to see if it was easy to do,
and in fact, most of the time, the game DOES detect those little errors
and makes appear near the desk.
But it seems like, according to this footage, it is possible to fool the game from time to time.
And to make our landing in those objects, not near them,
and this can be problematic, really.
And in the same spirit, we are going to deal with another glitch, but this time,
this one is huge.
In order to do so, you have to be on far left moving platform, when you come out
of your spawn.
Shoot the fan, you must have an Ink-Jet ready to use, go between the two walls
so that they hit you when the platform goes backwards.
Then, at the exact moment when you are like a slice of ham in a sandwich and you start
falling down, activate your Ink-Jet.
And once the platform is a bit more backwards and the Ink-Jet decides
your landing spot,
well, this landing spot being in a glitched place between the walls,
your game may crash.
Since the game doesn't know where to make you land, it makes you respawn
at the centre of the map, but in addition to that, you are completely invisible and invincible.
And this is a way bigger glitch that can really unbalance
games in which smart ones manage to do that at the beginning, so that
they can be invisible and invincible during the rest of the game.
But luckily, I tried to do it, and it's not that easy.
I simply couldn't do it even after many attempts.
This may be a random occurrence,
or maybe you need a perfect timing, you know, at the exact frame. Anyway, this is not clear.
For sure, even though it is difficult to crash the game in such a way,
well, it remains possible.
This bug is likely to get a correction in the future, so that it won't
disturb the games on this map.
However, I advise you not to try it,
especially because the person who published it on Twitter warned about
the crash of their device, and it is not good for your device to have a black screen
and won't be able to do anything on the Switch.
Or having completely glitched screens, so I highly recommend not to try it
at home, and wait for this glitch to get a correction.
