10 MIN WIDER HIPS & ROUNDER BUTT WORKOUT | at home workout - BEST - Duration: 8:46.

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven't done so already it's totally free for you and it just means so much to me

We're jumping straight into the warm up today

Kabocha, get it together. We're gonna start with air squats

Keep your abs nice and tight draw up a little get that booty to the ground if you can just do your best

You look good, let's go oh this is gonna be such a good one

I can feel it in my soul in my heart and my soul

Alright we're gonna go into a squat add a leg raise

Squat leg raise get that side booty

Let the side booty not be left behind

Let's go

Why does this exercise make us look like we are little frogs look at that tadpole, that's what this should be called tadpole. Okay. Ah

Man, who?

You know what? I'm sorry. I'm sorry. This whole workout is an act of love clench your booty

Trust me. Just trust me on this

There's nothing I can tell you just let's do it together, okay?

It's over round one. Goblet squats. I

Know the preview looks exactly the same, but it's not in one

I'm holding a dumbbell against my chest and the other I'm not if you have weights

Hold the weights. Just the way you see me do if you don't have weights just put your wrists in that position. Let's go

It's very hard for you to see but I am holding a dumbbell

It's exactly like air squats, but it just made it harder with the dumbbells

If you don't have dumbbells, you can do this with bodyweight, but for the full effect

I strongly recommend having a dumbbell and dropping it with your dumbbell at your chest

Okay, next up we have standing abductors your abs are going to be tight you're going to put that weight on your thigh

And raise your leg your hand is just there to support the weight

If you're not using weights use your hands to press down against your thigh as your own resistance, you know what I mean?

Let's go

If you're using weights your leg is still doing all the work

The weights are just your hand is just there to keep the weight in position

If you're not using weights, you want to literally press against your thigh as it's trying to go up

So your hand is your own resistance. I know that made sense. Let's just let's just survive this before we do the other side

Good same thing on the other side

Abs are engaged do your best

One side is going to be easier than the other if you need to hold on to something do that. I'm not judging you

I'm here to help you make it to the end because you got this. Let's go

There you go, you look good

This is a tough one. This is a tough one. So go at your own pace

Don't try to keep up with me you do you?

Your pace is good. Just do your best. That's all you can do

Just a few more seconds yeah, keep going

Okay, we're going to do is squat

If you do not have weights do the version on the right

With your hand behind your head. If you do have squats hold the weight the way you see me do and let's drop into it

Don't worry about doing squats in this workout

We're going to do enough squats to get your quads tired and to be your insurance policy

But we're not gonna be working your thighs too much in this workout. We're about to hit those glutes really hard

So just do what you can

Make sure you suck your stomach in good

Good

When you go down pretend you're sitting back into a chair

Good

You look good. That was that's amazing. You're doing so good

Okay

Dumbbell swings if you don't have weights do the version on the right if you have a weight to the version on the left

The key here is when you are standing up squeeze your booty

Your butt should be what your propulsion engine. That's right

Good make sure you hold on tight to that dumbbell if you're using one. I don't want you breaking any windows

If you're not using weights just clasp your hands together and do the same movement just without the weights

You look amazing keep going keep going you got this you got this

All right, we're gonna do standing kickbacks. You're going to hold onto a wall and

Put that weight on the back of your thigh. And then extend your leg your hand is just there to support the weight

It's not there to do any work your legs and booty should be lifting this weight

If you're not using weights you're going to use your hand to push back against your leg as you raise it

So your hand is your resistance?

It's a logic

Let's go

Hey you're doing amazing

We're gonna do the other leg now same logic are you ready? Let's go

Do your best after this you have one more exercise and you get a break

All right last move glute bridges if you have weights you want to put it on your hips

Squeeze your glutes to go up your hand is just supporting the weight

If you don't have weights do the same movement just very slowly and you hold at the top if you don't have weights

Good really squeeze those glutes to go up good

And just use your hands to gently support the weight

If you're using weights, you're not using weights again do slow and steady and hold at the top. Oh

This is so good, this is the B exercise you want to make sure

That you do your best you under your best for all of them, but for glute bridges extra

We're gonna keep this short and sweet right here for YouTube

But if you want the full 30-minute version of this workout an easy workout schedule

you can follow every single day and

Access to all sorts of workout programs from me visit my website at cocoa fitness calm and follow the easy directions on the home page

You're just going to cross your legs and fold board best you can

Make sure you listen to your body go to your own range of motion

That was so good

When you're ready I want you to slowly stand up put a slight bend in your knee and give yourself a huge hug

You worked you worked hard today. I am so excited for you

I'm so excited for your progress. You are doing something good for yourself by working out

Thank you for working out with me today. I will see you in the next workout

You

You

Hello~ I'm Protein Yunhwa & PRISTIN Nayoung!! XD [Hello Counselor Sub:ENG,THA/2018.8.27] - Duration: 4:10.

Here are today's guests.

This is his first visit to Hello Counselor.

Chef Choi Hyunseok.

Here is Hwang Chansung.

Hong Yunhwa and Kim Mingi are engaged.

PRISTIN member Nayoung.

You have something to say to Lee Yeongja?

You can say anything as long as you don't cuss.

Lee Yeongja makes everything look appetizing.

Sure.

In the world of great-tasting food,

there are two main parts.

Before and after you tried Choi Hyunseok's food.

She hasn't been graced with my cooking yet.

Try to entice me by explaining

what you will serve.

Well, you love every type of food but I'll serve steak.

I will charcoal grill a piece of meat with

incredible marbling with soybean paste sauce.

When you bite into it, the juice that oozes out

is actually a burst of flavor from fat.

She's the one who'd know how that tastes.

- Lee Yeongja. / - I shouldn't have heard that.

Add a subtitle that says, "Yeongja is eating."

(Let me eat with you)

I heard that you collect many action figures.

Yes, I love them.

What are you into?

I collect classic metal action figures.

They may look the same to you, but there are

classic plastic models, Gundam, Macross...

There are so many genres. And miniature figurines.

- There's "Starzinger," too. / - "Starzinger"?

He's a real maniac.

Nobody else has any idea what he's saying.

He's a real maniac.

I really don't know what to say to that.

- I didn't understand it at all. / - Me neither.

(He truly is a figure maniac!)

These two have a strong connection to our program.

When we first started this program,

they relayed the scene

through an internet stream.

Kim Mingi proposed to Hong Yunhwa

- on our program, too. / - That's right.

I will always strive to be

the best comedian and the best man for you.

Let's love each other forever and get married.

I love you.

(Congratulations on your marriage)

How long have you two been together?

About 3,038 days.

3,038 days.

You've been together for almost 10 years.

Is it out of spite?

- What? / - It's not?

What's your secret to being together for so long?

When we have a fight,

I take her to a crowded place.

(Why?)

So she can't scream at me.

- That's not bad. / - That's a great idea.

Yunhwa glares at me instead of screaming.

Then we make up.

Aren't you jealous of couples like them?

Yes, I am.

They look great together... Yes...

(Suddenly, I feel lonely...)

(How sad)

Do you have a girlfriend?

You're going to say no anyway, right?

How else should I answer that?

Many stars say their opinions on social issues.

What social issue are you interested in?

When will 2PM make a comeback?

(Oh, Chansung...)

Three members are in the army, right?

By the time we are all done serving,

- it'll be around 2021. / - When you all get back.

Maybe around the end of 2020.

We've been waiting for you, Nayoung.

Please say hello to the audience.

Hello. I'm PRISTIN's ondol leader, Nayoung.

Ondol? A warm leader?

Yes, a warmhearted leader.

You should've come with another member.

Wasn't it embarrassing to do this by yourself?

- Should I do it with you? / - Will you?

Do it together. Yunhwa, you go first.

She's PRISTIN. I'll be Protein.

(She's essential like protein is!)

I eat a lot of protein.

One, two, three.

Hello. I'm PRISTIN member...

I'm Protein member...

Nayoung.

Yunhwa.

How cute.

People with Depression are AWESOME - Duration: 9:41.

we all know that depression sucks and it can be debilitating when you can't even

get out of bed or you isolate or you constantly have all these negative

thoughts or no emotions at all that's not what we're talking about today in

this video in this video we're gonna offer a new perspective about depression

and it's purely based on science what is up everybody this is Chris from the

rewired soul where we talk about the problem but focus on the solution and if

you're new to my channel my channel is all about helping you out with your

mental health so if you're into that kind of stuff make sure you subscribe

and ring that notification bell so like I start off every video I talk about how

we talk about the problem but focus on the solution one of the reasons I do

that is because when we stay focused on this the problem we get nowhere we get

absolutely nowhere and with all terrible things there is a brighter side to it

and I've been reading a lot of amazing books and articles and things like

there's actually some good things about having a mental illness now this isn't a

video to discredit mental illness in any way I have suffered from depression as

well as anxiety and addiction and I know how terrible they can be on your life

but as I've mentioned in a million other videos we got to start changing our

perspective even just even just that much just a little bit and we can start

getting out of that hole so today we're gonna be talking about of why the people

who have symptoms of depression like maybe you or someone you know are

actually pretty awesome people based on science so the first study that we're

gonna be looking at is gonna be talking about the brain till this first set he

comes from neuro image clinical and we're gonna be talking about a part of

the brain called the sub general cingulate okay so what this study was

called or well the heading of this study says enhance some general cingulate

response to altruistic decisions in remitted major depressive disorder so

basically what they did was they hooked up brain scans to people who have major

depressive disorder or have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder

and this wasn't just only people who have major depressive disorder but also

people who have the major depressive disorder symptoms

go into remission all right so basically their conclusion says this we showed

that altruistic decisions probe residual SG ACC hypersensitivity in MD D even

after symptoms are fully remitted the SG ACC has previously been shown to be

associated with guilt which promotes altruistic decisions in contrast the

striatum showed common activation to both simple and altruistic rewards and

could be involved in the so called warm glow of donation enhanced neural

response in the depression group in areas previously too altruistic

decisions supports the hypothesis of a possible association between hyper

altruism and depression vulnerability as shown by recent epidemiological studies

all right so what does all this science mumbo-jumbo say what they are saying is

people who have some type of depression okay

typically major depressive disorder they have more activation in a part of the

brain that makes you a good person that makes you selfless that means how to ISM

is giving right giving rather than receiving people with depression are

more likely to help others isn't that awesome like that's an

amazing amazing thing we are more likely to help out other people and one of the

reasons that is is because we know that pain we know that suffering and we don't

want other people to go through it like when I read that I was like no wonder

why I made this youtube channel but my past is awful and terrible and I've

worked so hard on my mental health to get to this amazing place that I am

today but because of my depression and because it goes into remission sometimes

it comes back but I want to help out all of you and do something altruistic like

there's a reason why I work 40 plus hours a week and then dedicate another

20 hours to this YouTube channel as well as all my other social media channels

you know what I mean like people with depression are more likely to help other

people out isn't that a beautiful thing still don't believe me let's check out

this other study all right well depression is an unmistakable taxing

illness that presents what may feel like

insurmountable difficulties a new study published in Nature human behavior found

that a positive character trait belies this mental illness has motherboard

reports those who are more susceptible to depression are more selfless and

empathetic to reach this conclusion the researchers asked participants to play a

money-based game with a strong element of economic inequality and unfairness to

it those who showed elevated brain activity in areas associated with

depression while playing the game were also more likely to demonstrate signs of

clinical depression down the line more specifically some participants dubbed

the pro socials rejected money from unfair offers that didn't promote

equality for all while others the individualist were more

willing to accept the money despite obvious inequities people with

depression commonly demonstrate increased concern for others for the

perspectives of others explains the science publication more precisely Pro

social attitudes predict depression which is in contrast to individualist

attitudes individualist here basically just means selfish or relatively selfish

for example those with a pro-social attitude are more willing to help others

or society as a whole without the expectation of a reward

Pro socials have an almost unrivaled capacity to give up their time and

energy for others even at a cost to themselves right Megan spear and

Mauricio Delgado psychology researchers from Rutgers University of the new study

unfortunately the same deep empathetic concern for disadvantage can ultimately

weigh a pro-social person down emotionally resulting in mental health

issues like depression all right so to sum that one up when they do experiments

I love psychological disputes and neuro scientific experiments and stuff like

that basically what they did was they did an experiment where it was a game

based on money and I don't know the specifics of it there's a bunch out

there but how likely are they willing to give other people money or accept a

situation where

at a disadvantage if it helps others so people with depression were more likely

to put themselves at a disadvantage to help others alright and they were also

more likely to just turn a deal down if it might affect others in a negative way

that is like crazy that's awesome like so compared to other people with

without depression we're more likely to look at the greater good like is or my

actions going to hurt or help others you see what I mean like that's a really

really beautiful quality now one thing that it talks about like it weighing you

down is this this is where people with depression really gotta be careful

so people with depression like one thing that we really have to look out for is

like codependents okay it's all about balance we we have to understand this

about ourselves like the first step to solving any problem is acknowledging

there is a problem like self-awareness is a huge huge huge thing when it comes

to your mental health so if you realize like your depression is leading to you

helping more people you also you have to find this balance where you're not

putting yourself at risk right because let's say I just went around throwing my

money around all willy-nilly and donating to charities and putting myself

in a terrible terrible financial state then I'm gonna get even more depressed

and spiraled down in that fog so me personally like I give I give a ton I

help out people wherever I can but I sit back and I analyze the situation and say

okay but will the end result put me in a bad situation so even though I get this

good feeling from helping others which is why I do it so much like it helping

them is going to bring me down lower I have to set up boundary and not do that

thing alright but anyways I really hope that you enjoyed this video like I'm

gonna do more videos like this about anxiety about people with attention

deficit hyperactive disorder like OCD like there's people who actually have

very good qualities who struggle with mental illness and you know aside from

like the other videos I've been making the past couple of weeks about all the

YouTube drama like I'm really excited that I was able to make this video and

hopefully brighten up your day help you learn a little bit more about yourself

or other people you know who are struggling with depression but let me

fear down below if you're somebody who struggles with depression

let's leave a comment down below give me an example of what you do altruistically

okay like what do you do like how do you help out other people and I don't want

you to feel like nervous about it or like oh well I don't like to brag or

anything you are getting 1000% permission from your boy Chris to brag

all you want about yourself and I need to do a video about that I'm hoping your

comments down below will inspire people to go out and be a little bit more

altruistic themselves alright but that's all I got for you today if you like this

video please give it a thumbs up and if you're new here I'm always making videos

to help you out with your mental health so make sure you subscribe and win that

notification bell and a huge thank you to everybody supporting the channel over

on patreon and if you're not a patreon supporter check it out there's brand new

t-shirts and mugs up in the rewired soul shop it'll be links down in the

description below alright that's all I got for you today

and I will see you next time

Listen up: 8 college tips I WISH someone had told me when I started! - Duration: 9:51.

It all starts with a question: Why didn't anyone tell me any of this when I started?!

Auuuguh!

My name's Peter, this is Stacks & Facts, and I've got some tips to help you make

the most of your university experience with a minimum of freaking out.

[intro music]

So first of all, congratulations -- going to college is a big deal!

Yeah, it's gonna be hard -- but it's also gonna set you up for success in whatever you

decide to do with your life, even if you aren't sure what that is right now.

Which, by the way, is totally fine!

Nobody really knows what they're gonna do with their lives,

You're doin' okay.

But! just because college is hard, doesn't mean there's nothing you can do to make

it easier!

So I wanted to share some things with you that I wish someone had told me before I started

my undergrad, and eventually my masters.

They would've saved me all kinds of trouble, so I'm passing them to you.

Y'ready?

Alright let's do this.

What we expect university to be like, and how it actually ends up being, are two very

different things.

And that's because what's expected from us is different between high school and college.

Take writing, for example: while we learn the very basics of how to write a paper in

high school (intro, body, conclusion), those are, truly, the *very basics*.

In university, you'll be held to a higher standard in your writing, or even different

styles depending on the field that you're studying.

But since a lot of your classes are going to be lectures, you and your 200 classmates

might not get a lot of feedback from your professors or TA's on how to do that.

Most universities know this, and offer workshops to help bring you up to speed.

They're FREE, they're a lot more personal, and they cover everything from academic skills

like writing, presenting, and researching; to life skills like time management, interviewing

well, and taking care of your health.

Every school has different offerings, but it's worth starting your search at the library,

which is home to many of the student support services that your school offers.

And the cool thing about starting at the library is, if that's not where the things that you're

looking for are, the librarian'll help you find them.

When you're in college, sometimes it comes down to am I going to buy a textbook, or am

I going to eat for a month?

I hate that this is a decision people have to make, SO MUCH!

It's... Criminal.

But to cope with this, look for classes that use open textbooks in their curriculum.

These are published for free online, or printed at very low cost, so that you don't have to

decide that it's going to be ramen for dinner every day for the next four years.

Email the library and ask if they have a list of courses or professors that use them.

You can also use what's known as the inter-library loan, or ILL system.

Basically, you tell your library "I'm looking for a copy of this book," and then

they'll go and borrow it from another institution to loan to you, as if it were one of theirs.

It's free, and can be done online about as easily you can order a textbook off of amazon.

So… that's pretty sweet, right?

Living in the dorms can be super fun, with lots of parties and new experiences and things

that you might not have done or consumed before.

And so, when things get a little hectic, getting out of your dorm to study or be otherwise

productive is a super important habit to build early on in your academic career.

You can of course go to any old space in the library -- that's what most people do.

But if you want some variety, you might also want to check out your library's Rare Books

and Special Collections space: they're beautiful, quiet, and never as crowded as the rest of

the library.

This is going to serve you well, especially during midterms and finals week.

Trust me on this... it gets... it gets messy.

Your laptop is probably going to die.

That's just how things seem to pan out.

Maybe you drop it, or maybe you visited one too many websites of ill repute (no judgment!),

but at some point it's gonna happen.

With a little bit of planning though, it won't be the end of the world!

First, Google Drive is going to save you a lot of heartache.

Privacy issues aside (but still relevant), using Google Docs automatically saves your

work to your own corner of the internet so that when your laptop fails, you can still

get to your stuff.

Plus, many university libraries let students check out laptops and other tech, at least

for a few hours!

So if something goes wrong and you need a laptop or iPad in a pinch, or the infamous

HDMI-to-VGA adaptor for a presentation, or whatever power cable, check with your library

and see what they've got on tap.

But maybe do that at the start of the term, before it's *actually* an emergency.

Focusing on your grades is going to get you, at most, halfway to the job or career that

you want.

The rest of it is going to be things like soft skills, work experience, and actually

caring about something beyond your academics.

You can build up all three of these things by volunteering!

Off campus, look for organizations like food closets, youth programs, and cultural institutions

like libraries and museums.

On-campus, consider getting involved in student government or joining a peer support program.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and give back to your community of peers,

and gets you familiar with what's going on in the wider community.

It also looks great on a resume, and might even introduce you to future employers -- either

the institutions themselves, or their donors.

To get started with volunteering on campus, try googling your school's name and the

phrase "peer programs," or wander around your campus and see who has the best signage.

For off-campus opportunities, reach out to your public library and ask them about their

community partners -- or just ask *them* if *they* need volunteers.

You seeing a trend?

You are not the first person who's having a hard time finding the *significance* in

taking statistics.

And you definitely won't be the last person to go, "Auuuu!" when you don't get the

gold star on that quiz in Chemistry.

So why are you studying like you are?

Find people in your classes who you get along with, and ask them early on if they want to

be study buddies!

This keeps you accountable, sets you up to know who's reliable (or not) early on for

group work later, and is just a good way to meet people.

Or, check with the library to see if they organize any study groups through the year

-- they probably do!

And groups can usually book private rooms in the library just for studying, depending

on how rowdy you wanna get.

When it comes to finding the information you need to do good research, librarians are the

experts at finding it!

Sure, you probably can "google it" for your intro-level courses, but in your 3rd

and 4th years and throughout all of grad school, your professors will expect more from you.

When this happens, talk to a librarian!

People don't realize this, but universities have *subject librarians*: experts in a given

field who stay informed about it, and know how to find the good stuff.

This is why grad students use library services more than undergrads: would you rather spend

8 weeks hunting for all of the relevant research on your topic, or go to a librarian who can

help you get it done in, like, two weeks?

And finally, #1,

Take care of yourself!

This is the most important advice I can give you: Take breaks, and make your mental health

a priority!

If you don't have a lot of money, don't sweat it.

You probably already know that libraries give you free access to books, music and movies

-- but they also offer things like board games, musical instruments, recording studios, crafts,

makerspaces, museum passes and so much more!

FOR FREEEEEEEEEE.

So if free things interest you, go to the library and keep the stress monster at bay,

if only for a little while.

So many things are going to stress you out: being in a new place, feeling pressured on

all sides to do well, navigating new relationships, paying bills, worrying about the future, and

the list goes on.

But remember: there's help out there!

When things get hard, check out your school's counseling services through student health,

peer support programs, or access to counseling hotlines.

And you can ask the librarian about this, too!

It can be scary, but recognizing that you need help and asking for it are the most important,

life-changing things that you can do.

You're allowed to feel sad, or angry, or anxious, and it's normal to sometimes feel

like nothing's going right in your life and everything is outside of your control.

But I promise you that there's no failure so big, that it will ever be worth ending

your life over.

So if you ever start having suicidal thoughts or think to yourself that you'd be better

off dead -- or, if you're worried that someone you know might be suicidal, please seek help.

Here's some information to help you out with that:

In the United States, you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline toll-free at 1-800-273-8255

(TALK) , that's 1-800-273-TALK, and Canada's toll-free suicide hotline is 1-833-456-4566.

You should also dial 911 if you think you or someone else is in immediate danger.

And if you're outside of the US and Canada, I put links in the description to some resources

around the world.

I like you just the way you are, and even if you don't see it, you make this world

a better place just by daring to be your own, honest self -- by showing others with your

example that it's *human* to be sad, or angry, or scared -- and that you can choose

to deal with those feelings in a healthy way.

So please, stick around, and ask for help when you need it!

Now, I wanna hear from you: If you're in college now, what's been hard?

Or if you've already been there and done that, what advice would *you* give to others?

Let me know in the comments below, and if you see someone else's question that you've

got an answer for, go ahead and answer it, and share this video so that we can help college-goers

everywhere!

If you liked this video, and also like free things, go ahead give it a thumbs up, click

the subscribe button below, and tap the bell to get notified whenever I upload a new video

-- about twice a month.

I talk about all the cool things libraries do but no one ever told you about, and I try

to make sure that each one gives you something useful to take away and make your life a little

easier with.

As always, thanks for watching, and until next time -- don't forget to ask questions.

OK bye.

but they also offer things like board games, musical instruments, recording studios, crafts, makerspaces

[weird mouth noises that aren't words] what a list. Okay.
