working out is necessary to grow muscle but if you're not eating the right foods

then nothing worthwhile is going to happen diet is fundamental for adding

muscle to your frame as it gives your body the fuel it requires to repair

muscle tissue after you've broken it down protein specifically triggers

protein synthesis through the mTOR pathway and helps you recover from your

workouts so with that being said here are nine fantastic sources of protein

you can include in your diet beef is synonymous with the very thought

of food that helps you build muscle beef is rich in iron zinc nice and

phosphorous B vitamins as well as creatine grass-fed beef in particular

has a good ratio of saturated monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats

but the main reason why beef is so good is because it has all nine essential

amino acids and is particularly high in leucine which is the amino acid directly

responsible for protein synthesis beef also has creatine and it's one of the

natural foods which has the highest amounts of it and when creatine is taken

as a supplement it helps you perform better in the gym get in a few extra

reps and it gives you more energy by increasing something called adenosine

triphosphate or for short ATP number two is Greek yogurt Greek

yogurt typically has more protein than normal yogurt due to the straining

process involved in making it Greek yogurt is a decent source of calcium

protein of course as well as zinc B vitamins potassium phosphorus and as

well as healthy bacteria otherwise known as probiotics the good thing about Greek

yogurt is that it's also low in lactose which makes it a better choice if you're

lactose intolerant Greek yogurt also has more caffeine protein which is a slower

digesting protein meaning it can be a good option before you go to bed just as

a note many cheaper brands of so-called Greek yogurt often add an

extra sugar sometimes it's not even real Greek yogurt so just make sure you're

buying the real deal when you buy it just to avoid extra excess sugar

you know you know you want to be buying what you think you're buying number

three is a canned tuna now canned tuna or salmon or chicken for

that matter it's not the healthiest source of these foods you know canned

tuna there are some claims that BPA in the lining of the metal and the can is

bad for you you know obviously getting fresh tuna or fresh salmon is gonna be a

better idea than buying it canned but the reason I've included it here is

because it's extremely cheap so if you're on a budget and you need a good

quality protein source and you don't have much money to spend on grass-fed

beef for example then canned tuna can be a great option it's versatile you can

use it for your sandwiches you can just quickly put it with some vegetables in a

bowl and make a quick meal so it is worthwhile putting it on this list just

because it's so inexpensive tuna and salmon are also fairly high in the fatty

acid omega-3 that has DHA and EPA which may although it's still in debate have

several benefits for the heart joint health and brain health

so canned tuna is definitely a good option especially if you're on a budget

but if you're not on a budget then it's better to buy these fish fresh so number

four is cottage cheese cottage cheese like Greek yogurt is high in kassing

protein so let me explain the logic behind slower digesting protein and a

bit more depth basically what this does is increase amino acid levels for a

longer period of time if you go to bed your body is going to switch to a

catabolic state at some point which is a state where your body is breaking down

muscle so if you consume casein protein your body's amino acid levels are going

to be increased for a more gradual and prolonged period of time and therefore

the theory is that you're going to be able to preserve more muscle and build

more muscle during your sleep now there is some evidence to support this

rationale however the difference this would make a long term if you were

getting all your protein from Cassie Norway would not really make any

significant difference but if you can eat it before bed then why not a really

good option is to combine Greek yogurt with cottage cheese and then add

something like blueberries or strawberries to the mix because

plain cottage cheese kind of tastes disgusting to be honest so it's a mean

obviously taste is subjective but for most people mixing it with some Greek

yogurt and some fruit is gonna be a good option just to give it some flavor so

number five is chicken chicken is a really really good option if you're

trying to keep your calories low as chicken breast skinless boneless chicken

breast is very low in fat high in protein and very low in calories so if

you're trying to find a relatively cheap and very high protein source without the

extra calories in fat then chicken is a really good option it's not that fat is

bad for you but sometimes you just want a meal that's higher in protein and low

in calories chicken is also very high in iron vitamin b2 zinc selenium and the

list really does go on furthermore chicken is relatively easy to digest so

chicken over the years has been a staple and the classic bodybuilding diet you

know rice broccoli and chicken and for good reason it's a good protein source

and you really can't go wrong with chicken so weight protein is a very

common supplement taken within the fitness world as it helps increase

protein synthesis and promotes muscle growth and it helps with fat loss

so typically protein shakes are very very low in calories giving you around

25 grams of protein with one scoop which is usually around 150 calories when

mixed with water so whey protein comes from milk milk is made of two proteins

casein and whey so whey is separated from the casein and

milk and it's turned into these protein powder supplements you see everywhere it

contains all the essential amino acids and despite it originally coming from

milk it's low in lactose which makes it a great choice if you're lactose

intolerant there are lots of different kinds of protein powder like concentrate

and isolate and to be honest with you it doesn't really matter

overall it doesn't matter which one you take all you should just focus on is the

total amount of protein you're consuming for the day and yeah you don't really

have to overthink much more than that there's no point so number seven is P

protein powder so P protein is one of the best plant-based alternatives to

whey protein P protein has a good micronutrient profile to include

things like manganese folate phosphorus B vitamins 6 and 2 and more but the

reason people teen tends to be a good alternative to weight is because it's

nearly a complete protein some people claim it is a complete protein as it

contains all the essential amino acids however it is deficient in certain amino

acids which is why it's generally not recommended as a good sole source of

protein however if you mix pea protein with rice protein at a 70/30 ratio

respectively then you can get a similar amino acid ratio to whey protein making

it a really good alternative to animal protein if you're vegetarian vegan or if

you're just eating mostly plant-based foods number eight is peanut butter

so peanut butter is a smooth buttery paste made from the legume peanuts it's

high in fat and protein which makes it a good snack for you guys if you want to

increase your fat intake from a decent source as well as your protein intake be

careful not to get the fake peanut butter which is very high in sugar even

if it says natural or 100% natural on the container it's still important to

check the back just to be sure you're actually buying what you think you're

being marketed so peanut butter is a great option for meal replacement shakes

so you can get some of your whey protein you can get some milk you can get some

oats and you can put some peanut butter in the shake blend it up and you have a

good ratio of carbs fat and protein and that's a nice meal replacement so peanut

butter is great on desserts and overall it can just be eaten out of the

container as well if you want alright so lucky lost number 9 eggs eggs contain

beneficial nutrients like vitamin D b12 a selenium of phosphorus brain boosting

colon and a number of others making eggs an ideal food for humans both egg yolk

and white have good quality protein with 9 essential amino acids so eggs are also

very high and leucine and if you remember from number one leucine is

important for protein synthesis eggs also typically quite cheap as well as

being tasty making them a great inexpensive source of quality protein on

a budget the egg yolk is abundant in a variety of fats such as saturated

monounsaturated fat as well as some polyunsaturated fat all which is in a

good ratio for hormonal health like increasing testosterone

eggs are also high in cholesterol which research has shown isn't something you

really need to be concerned about the reason I'm mentioning cholesterol is

because whole eggs increase protein synthesis post-workout more than egg

whites even when protein is matched and that's because some research has shown

that cholesterol is directly responsible for helping to increase protein

synthesis omega-3 enriched eggs may even be a better option if you can get your

hands on them because omega-3 has also been shown to increase protein synthesis

so to conclude guys there are a lot of foods out there high in protein but

these are some of the foods which are high and leucine are very easy to find

relatively cheap so this is why I've put them on this list of the top nine high

protein foods you can eat although protein is necessary for muscle

growth it isn't the only fact that you should consider when deciding whether or

foot is good for building muscle why because consuming a mixture of fat

carbs and protein as well as a variety of micronutrients is gonna be key for

most people not all to optimize muscle growth performance and overall health

and a sustainable way long term okay guys so remember one of the most

important factors is to actually work out because if you're not lifting

weights then your body's not going to magically turn protein shake and to a

bigger bicep for you guys or a nicer ask for you for you girls alright guys so

there we go the top nine high protein foods you should be eating beef Greek

yogurt canned tuna cottage cheese chicken whey protein powder P protein

powder peanut butter and eggs as always thank you so much for watching the

channel I really appreciate it I absolutely loved it when you guys

engage with each other and comment down below so leave your thoughts in the

comment section down below and I'll see you guys in the next video peace out

you

الإسبتالية وتعاطي المخدرات - Duration: 8:50.

Imagine with me that you are working in a clinic or in a pharmacy

And someone enters

And says to you: I want an empty syringe to inject my self with drugs!

What will you do?

You have two options

Either give it to him/her without any negotiation or refuse to do so

Q: Do you think someone who is taking drugs

Will stop using them

Because he did not find an empty syringe

Before discussing the answer to this question

Let us ask a question

Why is this person using drugs?

What causes a person to use drugs?

Although most people know that this road is dark and dangerous

But in a study, it was found that the addiction of one of the identical twins to drugs

The chance of the other identical twin for addiction increases significantly

Note that they are identical twins

Identical twins are genetically identical

Identical twins have the same genome unless a mutation occured

This indicates that addiction may have a hereditary cause

This makes us ask a question: Did the those people choose to be addicted?

Or whether his genetics affected his decision

There is no doubt that the environment has an impact

But also the genetic aspect has an effect on the person's addiction or lack of addiction

Should we blame them, or blame genes?

Or blame the environmental factors?

This makes us think of a bigger dilemma

Is a man free to choose or obligated

This question is outside the scope of the video, let us get back to topic!

in general

I also want you to know that some of these drugs

Are used by doctors

But because some doctors know the right way to use it

The benefits resulting from their use for patients

Is greater than its side effects

Some of these drugs are used to relieve pain, such as morphine

Some are used to stop convulsions

Some are used for depression

According to the American Society of Psychiatrists

Drug addiction is a disease

Illness like any other mental illnesses

In order to understand the idea of drug addiction

When you take a drug whether it is by injection or by sniffing or by swallowing

Such as heroin and morphine

The brain is stimulates and secretes certain substances

Such as serotonin (happiness hormone),

Dopamine and other substances

This stimulates the brain and makes you feel happy and relaxed

You feel happy

Over time the body gets used to the effect of the drug

Which makes you

Increases the dose of the drug you use gradually

To get the same effect

To feel the same same way

The dose sometimes may be even fatal

It's the same thing you feel when you buy something new, a car, for example

At first you get excited and then gradually your excitement fades away

Because you are used to it

Actually this is not the concept of addiction

This is a known pharmacological concept, known as drug tolerance

What I want you to know, that addiction does not happen overnight

But gradually

For example, if you go to the doctor and he/she prescribed to you a one dose of a narcotic drug, you will not get addicted to it

But when you use them constantly over time, ultimately you will become addicted to them

And if the drug is stopped suddenly, you will have a strong desire to use the drug again

Regardless of the consequences, that can occur in exchange for getting the drug

He/she may commits a crime, theft, murder

For him/her, getting the drug is the priority regardless of the consequences

You may ask yourself! What is the problem with drug abuse?

Drugs have a lot of problems

Their health risks are innumerable

I will mention heroin side effects as an example

Inability to sleep

Constipation

Acute depression

Sexual problems in men

Irregular menstrual cycle in women

inability to control behaviors

inability to make decisions

And a lot of other side effects, let's get back to the main topic

[Voice of another person] Do not talk too much, should I give this person the empty syringe or not?

[Ahmed Siddig] Wait! [Voice of another person] In short, Ahmed!

[Ahmed Siddig] Wait! Just a minute!

Let's go back to the point, should I give this person the empty syringe or not?

Drugs can be given by many routes of administration

The most important of them and its seen a lot in television, by snorting

Intravenous injection or muscle injection

Smoking

Swallowing

But the side effects of the drug when it enters the body greatly affect the body

I'm not talking about giving a drug

I'm talking about giving an empty syringe

Regardless of what they will use it for

Regardless of how they got the drug

Are you entitled, or rather, should you give him the empty syringe or not?

According to WHO statistics

People Who Inject Drugs (PWID)

They have more incidence of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV)

13% are HIV positive

And 67% of them are infected with HCV

Why ? Because these viruses are transmitted by blood

When safe syringes are not available, injections may use contaminated ones

A person must use a new syringe every time he wants to inject a drug, a medication or anything else

But it is not that easy

As the use of these drugs is prohibited

The drug addict may enter in a dilemma between his fear and health

Also a lot of PWID are ignorant about the dangers of these diseases and their ways of transmission

And to minimize the damage caused by contaminated injections

As long as we failed to stop drug abuse

Let us reduce the harm caused by it

Many countries in the last century decided to provide new injections for PWID in pharmacies

You just enter the pharmacy and buy a new empty syringes, and then leave

But this method has encountered many problems

The most important of which is the lack of money

Because they spend most of their money on drugs

In the 1980s

And in several countries, including Netherlands

They have implemented a new program known as the Needle Syringe Exchange Program

PWID takes the syringes he/she has used,

And then replace them with a new syringes in the pharmacy

They went further

They introduced a program known as the Harm Reduction Program

Which is based on the basic idea: Instead of stigmatizing PWID,

We should help them

One of its main objectives is to provide new syringes to PWID

These program was introduced also in primary health care clinics

This increases the trust between the PWID and the doctor

And provide an opportunity for the doctor to raise awareness for drugs abuse

And the use of injections safely

As well as an early screening for the diseases I mentioned previously (HIV, HCV, ..etc)

The idea is to look at drug abuser

Or better to say the Person Who Inject Drugs (PWID)

He is not a drug abuser

He is a person but uses drugs

In a study published in 2017

The study was conducted on 64 staff at the 2 center for providing support and care for People Living With HIV in Canada

The staff were asked

Sometimes I am uncomfortable with providing harm reduction to clients in a healthcare setting

34% of participants strongly or somewhat agreed

Regardless of the reasons

Remember that this is a center that specializes in caring for people living with HIV

What do about other hospitals in Canada

What about our hospitals in the Arab world, what about our hospitals in Sudan?!

By the way a PWID

Will not stop using drugs if he didn't find an empty syringe

Knowing that the providing empty syringes

Does not increase the likelihood of a person continuing to use drugs

On the contrary in a study done

Individuals who enter treatment programs for drug addiction were more likely to be HIV-positive

Have a greater likelihood of seeking treatment than others

And go to the treatment center of addiction

Drug awareness campaigns

And not campaigns against elements used in drug abuse

If you understood that the purpose of the video is to help people and encourage them to use drugs

You are have a big problem

Very big problem!

In general, what do you think?

Do you agree with me or are there other opinions that you want to add?

I want you to comment and discuss this in the comment section below!

Do not forget to watch a previous video from here and subscribe from here!

Ving Rhames's Terrifying Run-In with Police & An Egyptian Zoo's Fake Zebra | The Daily Show - Duration: 4:14.

Every day, we hear another story

about someone calling the cops on random black people.

And now, it turns out,

it happens to famous black people, too.

Actor Ving Rhames is in the news tonight,

and it's not only his role in this weekend's blockbuster

Mission Impossible movie that has people talking.

Rhames just went public about a confrontational moment

with police in his own home.

VING RHAMES: I open the door, there's a red dot pointed

at my face from a nine millimeter.

-TV REPORTER: Oh, my gosh. -RHAMES: And they say,

"Put up your hands."

A woman called 911,

said a large black man

was breaking in to the house.

(laughter)

Come on, guys.

This shit is getting out of hand.

Not only is Ving Rhames your neighbor,

he's a super famous person.

Really? You don't recognize the guy

who's been in all these Hollywood movies?

No? That doesn't tip you off?

Or is his neighbor really dumb

and that's why he called the cops? He was just like,

"Hello, 911. The guy from Pulp Fiction

"is robbing a house.

"Yeah, it looks like he's using some kind of key

to break open the locks. Please hurry."

And by the way, have you seen Ving Rhames?

You don't need to worry about him getting robbed.

Look at that dude.

If anything, you should call 911 for the guy

who made the mistake of breaking into Ving Rhames' house.

It should be like, "Hello, 911.

Someone's about to die."

Moving on to other news.

Anyone sweating and going to the bathroom a lot on pla--

So basically, they're looking for terrorists or people

who have irritable bowel syndrome, which,

let's be honest, on an airplane, is basically the same thing.

It really is.

And I know the news says the story is about

the TSA monitoring Americans, but I think the real story

is that these air marshals are getting free flights.

Yeah, that sounds like a scam to me.

Yeah, so all too convenient. All of them are like,

"There's someone-- there's something fishy

"about that guy heading to the Bahamas.

"I'm gonna follow him. Yeah.

"And then I'm gonna follow that lady

"that's going to Hawaii. Uh-huh.

"Oh, yeah, what about

"that suspicious dude going to Somalia?

"No, he's cool, he's cool. He can go.

He's cool, totally cool."

Oh, finally, in international news,

an Egyptian zoo has taken exotic animals to a whole new level.

Keepers at a zoo in Egypt are accused of trying to fool

their guests with an unusual trick. Listen to this.

They are accused of painting zebra stripes

on a donkey in one of their exhibits.

Although the zoo director insists

that the animal is real,

its large ears and smudged paint job

made some people take a second look.

Okay.

Okay, now, I'll be honest with you,

I do not see the problem here.

(laughter)

I don't. First off, if you went to Egypt to see a zebra--

which, by the way, is how you say it--

you deserve to get tricked, okay?

Second, you realize this is the future of zoos, right?

Once we've killed off all the wild animals

because of our pollution and shit,

this is what we're gonna have to do.

We'll just be putting wigs on house cats, and looking like,

"Oh, look at that magnificent lion. Wow."

This is our future, people.

(applause)

And, look...

(cheering and applause)

And, by the way, I don't know why anyone is surprised.

Egyptians have been inventing animals for thousands of years.

Look at the sphinx. What is that?

What is that?

It's not a real thing.

And you know what? To be honest with you,

if that fake zebra makes one kid smile, then it's worth it.

Yeah. I think it's worth it.

'Cause, I mean, like, kids get lied to all the time, you know?

When I was a kid, my dad took me to a zoo

and showed me a camel, and then years later,

I found out the truth was he wasn't my dad.

Prince Shotoku | History of Japan 16 - Duration: 8:27.

The Soga clan dominated the Japanese court after crushing the Mononobe clan in 587.

They basically controlled who got to be emperor.

In 592, the head of the Soga, a man named Soga no Umako, suspected that he was on the

emperor's "People I need to get rid of because they are too powerful" list.

Soga no Umako resolved the issue by having the emperor assassinated.

Oh, did I mention the emperor was Umako's own nephew?

Yeah, he was.

And if that wasn't enough to convince you of the Soga's power,

afterwards, he put his niece, Suiko, on the throne.

He also gave the new empress a regent, her nephew, a smart young man by the name of

Shotoku Taishi.

Prince Shotoku had both Imperial and Soga blood.

Aunt and nephew were like co-rulers.

She tended to handle religious affairs while he handled state affairs.

Psst.

Hey guys, stick around until the end of the video for a special message.

Prince Shotoku is a beloved figure in Japanese history.

They had all kinds of totally true stories about him, like he could speak the moment

he was born.

Thing is, some historians actually question his existence, believing that he may have

been a combination of different people rather than one man.

At the beginning of Empress Suiko's reign, the ruling Yamato family was losing control.

The strongest clans, especially the Soga, almost ran the Imperial court and passed the

time by engaging in power struggles.

Outside of the capital, clans in the provinces increasingly fought over land and resources.

Some even refused to pay taxes to the central government.

A few historians speculated that the instability was due to a growing population that increased

competition for resources.

Prince Shotoku sought a way to deal with these issues, and decided that there were two problems.

One, the position of emperor did not have enough authority.

And two, these clans were too firmly embedded in the government structure.

Oh, and three, freaking Soga no Umako.

Prince Shotoku enacted reforms to try and strengthen the emperor's authority.

He had initial help from Soga no Umako, of all people.

Umako probably thought that since he basically controlled who would be emperor, a more powerful

emperor meant a more powerful Soga clan.

Around this time, after more than 150 years of polite discussion, China reunified under

the Sui Dynasty.

The Sui took steps to increase the power of their own central government.

They had a strong central military and exerted more control over regional officials.

They also tried to create a government based on merit instead of heredity.

Having a strong Chinese state again had a huge effect on the region.

Prince Shotoku thought the Sui had some pretty good ideas.

The Korean kingdoms had already copied the Sui model, and Shotoku wanted to do the same.

Many times, he sent people to Sui China to learn their ways.

Some students even stayed in China for decades until Trump deported them for overstaying

their visas.

The students of these missions brought home valuable information,

and anchor babies.

An interesting event happened that we should talk about, Shotoku and Empress Suiko once

sent an emissary to China and addressed the Chinese emperor this way:

"From the child of heaven in the land of the rising sun

to the child of heaven in the land of the setting sun."

The land of the rising sun was Japan.

The land of the setting sun was China.

Now, this introduction may seem fine to you and me, but it irritated the Chinese emperor.

The wording was deliberate, it implied a conversation between equals, two children of heaven.

Remember that China saw all other countries as inferior.

Here was an inferior vassal state that spoke as if they were equal to the Chinese emperor,

like his kid just called him by his first name.

My name is Dad!

Call me Dad!

The letter revealed to us how Japan began to see itself.

It was a message that Japan no longer accepted a subordinate role to China.

Prince Shotoku made two major reforms.

In 603, he created the Cap Rank system.

In 604, he wrote the Seventeen Articles Constitution.

The Cap Rank system was supposed to replace the older kabane system, which I discussed

in an earlier video here.

The new system created 12 ranks in the court.

Each rank came with its own color.

My sources differ on this, which is frustrating.

Some say that they wore a different colored cap depending on their rank.

Others say, no, all the caps were purple, it was the color of feathers on the caps that

changed.

This new system was important because it was supposed to be based on merit.

In the older kabane system, your rank passed on to your children, allowing power to linger

within a family.

With the new system, court ranks were no longer hereditary.

Well, mostly.

The highest court officials still had hereditary ranks.

But the point was to make court appointments based on your performance instead of your

daddy.

In 604, Prince Shotoku wrote the Seventeen Articles Constitution.

Now, "constitution" may be a bad translation, and some historians have dropped the word

"constitution."

When you think of "constitution," you think of a document of law, with punishments

for violations.

This was not that.

It was more like a list of ethical principles, based on Confucianism and Buddhism.

It was Shotoku saying, "Hey, you doofuses, this is how good government officials should

act."

Shotoku wrote about a harmonious relationship between ruler and subject and stressed the

authority of the emperor, all Confucian ideals.

Shotoku wanted to create a government that placed the emperor at the top, like the Sui

emperor.

So how effective were these reforms?

About as effective as the age verification on adult websites.

If the goal was to shift power away from the clans and towards the emperor, it didn't happen.

The clans were still too strong and had independent control over their lands.

The Soga's grip on the court remained and they blocked any threat to their authority.

However, Shotoku got the ball rolling on this idea of a strong central government with an

all-powerful emperor.

Later reformers would continue dribbling his ball towards the basket.

Prince Shotoku did find success in another ball:

his mission to popularize Buddhism.

He was a devout Buddhist and is often called the father of Japanese Buddhism.

You could say he made and pumped this second ball himself.

Empress Suiko was receptive.

Suiko probably liked Buddhism because it welcomed female rulers, unlike the patriarchal Confucianism,

which only supported male rulers.

Buddhism flourished under Shotoku and Suiko, with huge temples popping up all over the

place.

You could say, aunt and nephew passed the Buddhism ball back and forth down the court,

avoiding the Yamato Shinto's, and scored a three pointer.

Prince Shotoku died after 30 years as regent.

It was said that when he died, the common folk all mourned his death, saying the sun

and moon had lost their brightness.

Hey guys, how's it going?

I have an announcement today.

I'm pregnant.

No.

I have a Patreon!

So if you hadn't notice, I don't have any ads on this channel because YouTube refuses

to monetize me.

No, they didn't refuse, but they're reviewing channels right now and it's been about a hundred

years.

So hopefully the channel will be monetized in a few...

decades.

In the meantime, we have Patreon.

If you didn't know, Patreon is a service that allows you to give me a few bucks a month.

You know, just skip one coffee a month to support an independent artist, and in return,

as a token of my appreciation, I give you certain perks.

For example, one of the perks is access to our Discord chat server.

So what this allows us to do is, first of all it allows me to survive, but also to grow

the channel to something bigger and better.

It also allows us to have more of a connection, because, you know, within our private Patreon

circle family thing,

I'm much more likely to talk to you,

to interact with you,

to reveal more personal information,

like my social security number, whatever you want.

Link in the description, hope to see you there.
