I'm still feeling really bad for

everyone has been following the video

thank you so much it was really a bit

still so I'm trying to get through this

stuff

right now I'm just working on getting a

set up here for you guys so I can bring

you guys videos and hopefully everything

will be good from this point on we shall

see right now guys I'm about to go to

the local office depot and I'm going to

be getting a new what do you call it

office chair I need one for my back

because my back is really killing me me

and my mom were looking online and we found

one that's really cheap its own sales

like 50 bucks off so i hope the office

depot has that we're going to go up

there and check it out the old one got

broke me at the sat on it and broke it

so that's fine it's not a big deal so

get a new one so I got to take I got to

take my moms Honda though because as you

can see the cars are still not unfilled

yet I'm just been taking my time with it

cuz you know it's been hard so let's go

guys ready let's go I don't know if I

showed you guys this before but I never

drive my moms Honda because you know

it's her car but I like her Honda a lot

better just because there's ten I don't

you guys can see that but it is

definitely tinted versus the honda that

you know Mellie and I would drive we we

do like using this one a lot more

frequently just because I have it's

tinted but I just I never get a chance

to use this car to him as my mom's car

is just really nice because it's tinted

I'm always trying to watch out for sun

exposure so this is really nice that I

can drive this my mom actually let me

drive it because there's no room in the

other cars so plus office depot's right

the streets so here we go guys let's go

get my chair

but at the same time it's like blinding

the office depot look over there that's

this already but my mom has actually

helped me pay for this thing because she

knows other situation I just came out if

I don't have any money so I told her I

need something to help support my back

because I mean a lot of pain I'm really

slouching a lot I wish I could show you

guys but the camera won't do but like

I'm holding I have to hold my back

straight back because it hurts really

bad but it's all improvement guys one

step at a time I guess but anyway let's

chair he's in the office depot right now

excited i get about certain things like

I'm so glad to be here and filming and

bring able to bring you guys more videos

all the time but I'm also really really

really sad and upset because I miss

Millie and a lot of my friends they

can't really talk too much about only

ones that convention was middling and

amanda jean on video but um it's weird

like when I saw this I was like I

instantly thought a million it made me

happy but at the same time made me

really sad because I wish I could just

give it to her right now well it's okay

everything will be fine guys we will be

are we doing good so I'll just sitting

here waiting for the chair to be done

I'm just waiting for the chair to be

done now I'll take it back and I'll set

everything up in the room and hopefully

i put only brought a couple things in so

far i still got to unpack the cars like

i told you guys before um I brought my

very rare Jeff Gordon hauler in of

course love that thing I got the chair

in here now it does look way different

from last time you guys seen it of

course and uh I have my old TV set up

with my gamecube / gameboy player so

we'll see how that if i can get all this

stuff hooked up and I brought the

computer in and the TV screen that I had

also and I was trying to get some of

this stuff done for you guys so

hopefully I brought the keyboard in as

well I got my long ass internet cord

that I have to hook up still because

sometimes in this room I get signal and

then I don't so i just i have it plugged

in here as well as that little ball

thing you see sitting on top of my tower

there so hopefully guys everything

it goes according to plan here I'm

trying so hard to be positive about all

this change I'm very happy about

everything that I've been doing but I

really miss Millie and that's been the

biggest issue with all of this I'm very

happy that I'm here but I'm also happy

that I'm not here to admit that makes

any sense so I miss amanda jean i miss

Millie miss a lot of my friends I can't

really talk about on camera so but yeah

guys this is the this is what the room

looks like now for every one that

doesn't really remember this was never

here this dresser some of this stuff was

never here but dressers over here now

and I got the chair in here now so I'm

going to probably move this thing out to

the garage later when i get some time

get some of this stuff organized more so

i can get some more stuff set up but

once i get once i get the once i get

this cord hooked up i'll be able to

start really fooling around with some

more videos for you guys huh you guys

are amazing people I love sitting you're

chatting with you guys as much as I

possibly can talking to you guys as much

as I possibly can sitting here like just

talking to you guys as long as I

possibly can I love making videos for

7 Science Illustrators You Should Know - Duration: 11:50.

Modern technology has given scientists some incredible tools to study the universe and

share their knowledge.

With photography, for instance, we've been able to collect images of everything from

microbes to galaxies.

But before we had cameras, we had scientific illustration.

And throughout the years, hundreds of science illustrators have made 2D and 3D representations

of concepts in lots of fields, from biology to physics.

You might recognize some big names, like Leonardo Da Vinci's anatomical sketches and James

Audubon's bird paintings.

But there are a lot of people you've probably never heard of, even though their work has

had a huge impact on our understanding of the natural world.

The 1500s were a pretty horrible time to get sick.

Medicine was kind of a mess.

At the time, doctors believed that we were all made of four elements called humors: black

bile, yellow bile, blood, and phlegm.

Supposedly, when these humors were "imbalanced," we got sick.

Most of what we knew about human anatomy was from the work of Galen, a renowned Greek philosopher

and physician.

But Greek and Roman societies prohibited dissection of the human body.

So Galen's knowledge mostly came from dissecting pigs and monkeys, and using their anatomy

to guess at the structures inside our bodies, from the muscles to the circulatory system.

It wasn't until Andreas Vesalius came along that we actually took a good look inside human bodies

Vesalius taught medicine and surgery in Italy.

And instead of just reading from Galen's texts, he dissected cadavers for his students,

usually the corpses of executed felons.

Through those hands-on studies, he discovered just how wrong Galen's teachings were, and

clarified topics ranging from how the circulatory system and nerves worked to bone structure.

For example, Galen believed that the human jaw was made of two bones connected in the

middle, from his dissections of dogs.

But Vesalius discovered that it's just one solid bone.

After years of research, Vesalius published a set of seven books called De humani corporis

fabrica in 1543, which was likely the first complete representation of the human body

in the Western world.

Working closely with other artists, Vesalius included over 200 illustrations, from detailed

skeletons to networks of blood vessels.

As a kinda creepy cherry-on-top, at least one of his books was bound in human skin!

Lots of people consider Vesalius to be the father of modern anatomy.

At the very least, his work changed our understanding of the human body, and helped usher Europe

into a new, better-informed era of medicine.

Born into a family of German artists and publishers in 1647, Maria Sibylla Merian started illustrating

young, painting decorative flowers alongside her stepfather's male students.

At the same time, though, she found herself captivated by insects, especially the life

cycle of the silkworm.

So Merian started to collect caterpillars, studying and painting their lifecycle as they

metamorphosed into moths and butterflies – along with the plants they ate.

In fact, Merian was the first science illustrator to record the relationships between insects

and the plants they lived on, which is critical for understanding food chains, as ecologists

realized later on.

Plus, she proved that caterpillars hatch from eggs, instead of a common belief that insects

randomly appeared from rotting plants and meats.

The idea of spontaneous generation dates back to our old friend Aristotle.

He never observed insects laying eggs, so he figured larvae just appeared from random

places, from old wax to books to horse carcasses.

Later in life, Merian spent two years traveling with one of her daughters in the Dutch colony

of Suriname.

Her written accounts were some of the earliest descriptions of the climate, the jungle wildlife,

and society in the colony.

And in 1705, she published a book called Insects of Suriname, earning her an international

reputation as an illustrator.

Even today, naturalists use her work as they study and classify insects.

It's easy to find science illustrators who studied biology, observing plants, animals,

and the human body to understand our universe.

But Moses Harris was also fascinated by light and color.

Harris was a skilled artist and entomologist, and spent some time studying insects.

In fact, he even published a book called The Aurelian in 1766, filled with illustrations

of moths and butterflies.

When he wasn't sketching bugs, though, Harris was studying Sir Isaac Newton's relatively

new theories on light.

Newton's work with light and prisms showed that white light could be split into three

primary colors: red, blue, and green.

See, light is additive.

So cells in your eyes detect different amounts of different colors of light, and blur them

together to perceive new colors, even a bright white.

That's how you're able to watch this video in color!

Right this very second, the pixels on your screen are emitting different combinations

of red, green, and blue light.

Harris expanded on color theory to play around with pigments, and demonstrated that yellow,

red, and blue are the three primary pigment colors.

He also showed that pigments are subtractive color.

Basically, they take advantage of how surfaces absorb and reflect different wavelengths of light.

A white surface, for instance, reflects all colors of light, while a red surface reflects

red wavelengths, and absorbs the rest.

After his experimentation, Harris created an incredible color wheel.

Still used by artists today, it shows how mixing any two of the primary pigment colors

together generates the secondary colors – orange, purple, and green.

While all three together makes black.

Helena and Harriet Scott were born in Sydney in the 1830s, when Australia was still a pretty

rough place to be, and women weren't allowed to study science at university.

Luckily, the girls' early interest in nature was encouraged by their parents.

And when they were teenagers, their family moved to Ash Island, where their dad studied

moths and butterflies.

The sisters helped their father with his research, cataloging specimens, raising caterpillars

to observe their behavior and food preferences, and eventually painting the insects.

Like Maria Sibylla Merian, the Scott sisters depicted the full life cycle of the caterpillars

and butterflies they studied.

They even included landscape backgrounds of areas in and around Sydney in many of their paintings.

Their dad's book, Australian Lepidoptera and their Transformations, was published in 1864.

And it was so renowned that the sisters were awarded honorary membership in the Entomological

Society of New South Wales, and were commissioned to paint for many of the science publications

in Sydney.

Their skilled work helped document Australian natural history throughout the 19th century,

and they were possibly the first female science illustrators in Australia.

Drawings and paintings can be an awesome way to communicate research, but sometimes a 2D

illustration just won't cut it.

So some scientific artists branched out into 3D work.

Born in 1822, Leopold Blaschka came from a long line of celebrated glass workers.

His day job was creating trinkets and glass eyes for the family business, and training

his son Rudolf as his apprentice.

In his spare time, he studied plants and flowers, and made delicate glass models which were

displayed in museums and botanical gardens around Europe.

During an ocean voyage to the United States, he became fascinated with ocean invertebrates,

admiring their glass-like colors and shapes.

And in 1863, Blaschka was commissioned by the director of the natural history museum

of Dresden to create glass models of sea anemones.

From then on, Blaschka and his son turned all their time and energy to making scientific models.

And their work was groundbreaking, artistically and scientifically.

While vertebrates like mammals and birds could be taxidermied to resemble living animals,

invertebrates could only be preserved in jars.

That kinda worked, but these squishy creatures eventually lost their color and became shapeless blobs.

Working first from drawings and later from live specimens kept in saltwater tanks, Blaschka

and his son built hundreds of accurate, ethereal glass models of invertebrate sea creatures.

Because glass doesn't need water to survive, these models could be displayed in museums

and universities all over the place.

Now, perhaps the most famous collection of their work is the Glass Flowers in the Harvard

Museum of Natural History.

Over 4,000 models of over 800 species of plants are on display, from entire stalks to magnified

pollen grains.

And glass flowers are always in bloom!

You've probably heard of Peter Rabbit – the cute little bunny in a blue coat who stole

carrots from the garden.

But long before Beatrix Potter became famous for her stories, she was a wildlife illustrator.

As the daughter of a wealthy family, Potter was privately educated, and her scientific

interests covered pretty much every field except astronomy.

She collected and studied fossils, insects, and even archeological artifacts before finding

her true passion: fungi.

The naturalist Charles McIntosh sent her specimens and taught her how to use a microscope, and

her scientific skills grew.

She was fascinated by fungal reproduction, drawing and painting over 350 illustrations

of fungi, down to the details like the gills of mushrooms and their tiny spores.

Potter successfully germinated mushroom spores in her home.

She mounted them on glass slides and tracked their growth, trying to understand how different

environments influenced their development.

Believing that she was breaking new ground in fungi research, she even wrote a paper

called On the Germination of the Spores of the Agaricineae in 1897.

Whether or not she really contributed to advancing the field, her illustrations withstand the

test of time.

Born in Spain in 1852, Santiago Ramón y Cajal dreamed of being an artist.

But, like overbearing parents everywhere, his father pushed him to study medicine instead.

He studied anatomy and pathology, and wrote books and articles about using microscopes

to examine tissue samples.

But he was struck with passion in 1887, when he learned about a neuroscience lab technique

called the Golgi method.

Even today, we don't know exactly how the technique works.

But Golgi staining uses potassium dichromate and silver nitrate to fill random neurons

with a dark blackish-brown color.

And it leaves the tissue around them completely transparent.

With this technique, Cajal was able to study individual neurons, which are normally too

dense to see under a microscope.

Here, he found his calling: illustrating and describing the structure of brain cells.

He made major contributions to the field of neuroanatomy, and helped figure out the basic

structure of the brain – a subject of major scientific debate at the time.

His sketches proved that neurons aren't just one long, continuous strand.

Instead, he showed the brain was made up of lots of individual, branched cells connecting

and communicating with one another.

And he discovered microscopic structures that scientists still study today: like the axonal

growth cone, the structure neurons use to guide their growth, and dendritic spines,

the little bumps on neurons where they form connections with other cells.

Along with the scientist Camillo Golgi, who created the technique, Cajal was awarded the

Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1906 for his contributions to the field of neuroanatomy.

Many consider him to be the father of modern neuroscience.

And neuroscientists today still discuss his drawings of different cells and theories about

how they connect and communicate.

Without all these science illustrators, we wouldn't have the detailed records and models

of the natural world that we do today.

So no matter how separately they may be taught, science and art are complementary tools to

explore and talk about our universe!

5 SUPPOSEDLY Cursed Images With CREEPY BACKSTORIES - Duration: 10:03.

5 Most Cursed Images Found on the Internet Based on beliefs or not, paranormal has been

a big part of just about every culture in the world.

A good number of us have heard stories about cursed objects like houses and dolls.

Today we look at 5 cursed images found on the internet.

What would you do if you realized your highly prized painting is possessed?

5.

Anguished Man The eerie oil painting known as the Anguished

Man was painted by an unknown artist and is said to cause paranormal activities.

It is rumored that the artist mixed his own blood into the

paint and committed suicide shortly after completing the painting.

In 2010, a resident in Colombia, England, Sean Robinson reported strange activities

in his home that he blamed on the oil painting and set

up a camera to share the incidents on his YouTube

channel.

The first video that comes with the main story was uploaded in December 2011.

According to his story, when he was just a young boy, he saw the odd-looking oil painting

in his grandmother's home and was drawn to it by

a mysterious force.

He was always told by his grandmother that the painting felt sinister

or troubling.

She claimed to hear voices and a crying whenever the painting was displayed and would

see a shadowy figure of a man which is why she locked it away in the attic, where it

stayed for 25 years before Sean inherited it.

As soon as Sean took the painting in his home and put it on his wall the paranormal activities

started.

Sean along with his wife reported they experienced strange noises and visuals like

screams coming from nowhere, nightmares and doors cracking in the middle of the night.

At one point Sean's son was pushed down the

stairs, and his wife felt something stroking her hair.

They also reported seeing the shadow man.

Sean decided to set a camera overnight to try and capture some of the creepy events

on tape.

His video on YouTube shows slamming doors, rising smoke, and the painting falling off

the wall for no reason.

Frightened by the events, he soon put the painting in his basement where it was

again stored for a long time.

According to a recent email Sean sent to Dread Central he said the painting is locked away

in a secure location and is not for sale.

He added all other paintings appear for sale online which

claim to be The Anguished Man are frauds and no one should buy them.

According to Sean, the painting is dangerous and it would not be

wise for anyone to lay their hands on it.

Several paranormal TV series and investigation teams have studied the mysterious painting

and it has been mentioned as one of the Top5 haunted

items in the world.

The Curse of the Crying Boy Painting.

A mysterious series of house fires were brought to the attention of the general public from

around 1985 onwards, following the discoveries, that in each of these cases, the buildings

and all their contents were completely destroyed

apart from a painting – The Crying Boy, which

remained undamaged.

40-50 such cases were recorded in the years that followed.

It became known as the 'Curse of the Crying Boy'.

These unexplained occurrences even made headline news at one point in the British newspaper

'The Sun'.

The painting itself is a mass produced painting by academically trained Italian painter Giovanni

Bragolin, also known as Bruno Amadio.

The painting was widely distributed from 1950 onwards,

all featured a boy who stared straight out of the picture with tears welling in their

eyes and rolling down their cheeks.

There are several stories behind the legend of the painting, but one that stands out,

if not for the story alone reads as follows.

Bragolin met a young boy after he fled to Spain soon after the

end of WWII.

The boy was a mute orphan who had seen his parents perish in a house fire

during the war.

He adopted the boy even after being warned off of doing so by a local priest, the boy,

Locally known as the devil child, was the center of

many mysterious fires that broke out wherever he

went.

Bragolin refused to believe such stories and the new family lived easy with the paintings

selling well.

Unfortunately one day, Bragolin found his house and studio burnt to the ground.

He blamed Don for the incident following the priest's

warning and kicked him out of the family.

The orphan boy was never heard of again until years later,

and surrounding another bizarre event, where a

car smashed into a wall and burst into flames.

The driver was horrifically burnt to death.

Among the burnt items was an untouched driver's

license, the name on it was Don Bonillo.

It is said all Bragolin's paintings of crying boys were cursed by Don Monillo's memory.

However, facts about this story are not fully confirmed.

Bragolin died in 1981, gone with the truth of this

story.

The Portrait of Bernardo De Galvez Born in 1946, Bernardo De Galvez was a powerful

Spanish military leader who aided the American Colonies during the Revolutionary

war.

The city of Galveston opened an amazing hotel and named it after him in the early

1900s.

Naming the hotel after Bernardo De Galvez would be meaningless if a huge portrait of

him wasn't put on display within the hotel.

And this is where the mystery begins.

Ever since the hotel was opened, guests would complain about this portrait.

You can find the magnificent portrait of Bernardo De Galvez

at the end of the downstairs hallway.

The guest would say when walking past the painting,

the eyes won't stop following them, making them a

little creeped out.

Over the years the hotel and the painting started to get a reputation.

Since the hotel is built in honor of the great Bernardo

De Galvez, the painting would not be removed.

The unexplained occurrences only continued.

Some people came to think that it was the hotel

playing tricks on them.

There are reports of people feeling very cold and uneasy if standing too

close to the painting for a period of time.

Eventually people started to realize that when you

take a picture of the painting it is always out of focus, or some mystique mists get on

the way.

A paranormal investigation team snapped a picture of the infamous portrait, but the

picture was marred with a skeleton image.

Perhaps they forgot to ask the long dead Bernardo De

Galvez permission to take a picture?

Apparently a guest at the hotel at one point discovered

that one had to ask Bernardo De Galvez politely to take a picture of the portrait for them

to be perfectly clear.

The portrait is indeed a fascinating mystery.

Juan Luna's Portrait Juan Luna's portrait of his wife Paz Pardo

de Tevera is a picture of Paz before bedtime; the

woman in bed, clutching a rosary and there's a prayer book and a night stand to her left.

So how can a picture that embodied a husband's

love end up being a bearer of 'evil'?

And how did it happen that the love and bliss in the marriage
