antony Winkler died in 2015 at age of 73
the part of the characters of this novel is going to be discussed by me [Elba] Machuca as
The title of our story indicates there is a lunatic in this story
and his name is a Lewis's Hobson a
synthetic Madman harry, Blackmun, and
Cricket Spin bowler he's the one that throws the ball at the game
Another character in this story is his dear friend the flame tree
He is a one who speaks the [most]
two voices in the story if we speak about trees bushes and animals
Another important character in this story would be a hilbert
Mackintosh he is utTerly referred as boosha Boosha
means Boss
He is a [rhesus] man in the parish and lives in the woodland of St.. Anne
with his
wife and
her name is [Sara] and
she is really important to the story - she has a lot [of] a lot to do with the losses and the
situations that had happened in the in the story she also is responsible of the church core and
It's involved in helping the [poor]
another important character, but not in such a good way is angus schmidt [a]
German [Crazy] Rich stout white woman that
often writes a model motor cycle and
is
regrettably
[Elise's] Lover and
In my opinion [she] [is] crazier than she is then then [Alice's] is
the next important character would be
[serviced] Johnson. He's a junk butcher and the new lover of inga
inga and
Johnson
Get a loss involved in a crime that is
[discussed] further on in this story
um
our next important character would be
Kenneth P. Lindstrom A
Barrister
What does that mean? He's a lawyer and
for what I read his
brown-skinned
Man with green hair he had it all he was strong he had the brains the good looks
Five children a big house. [I'm] her selling spence a sailboat and [a] so
successful law [practice] and he was a ferocious player of cricket and
the
last but not because of that the least
Important character would be the widow
Dawkins
she
Had some problems [with] her
bowels
and
sang horribly, but she is the one [that] [saves] our losses from the
mental [institution] at the end of the story
This [next] slide we will continue to discuss the secondary characters
the first secondary character we have is a constable man who is a Policeman and
With whom the channels people threaten our [voices] they recall if he doesn't go away
Then we have Miss Williams a brown-skinned teacher
That teaches the kids a lot of new words and their meanings so that they can express themselves
Better when they grow up
Then we have Mr.
Rafferty the school Principal to [whom] Miss Williams goals when she founds out that
[aloisius] is hearing
her classes and she tells him that she doesn't want to teach new words to
Lunatics
Then we have Mr.. Tobert the shop owner
he
Speaks a lot with Mr.. [Mcintosh]
Since well as in the story tales, Mr.. Mcintosh gets
aggravated
when he sees a cow doing
her necessities over her
mothers-In-law
grave
So his agent goes to Mr.
Roberts shop to ask him to take care of the situation at the same time, Mr.
[chard] Scolds Richard who is our next character the graveyard Keeper and asked him to please get the cows and the
chips and Goats away from the Graves
Then we have Mr.. [Nettleton], and I recruit
agricultural inspector and a socialist
Then we have Melba a maid in the hotel where inga was staying
with the losses and where she
Referring to inga wants to tie up voices in her bed, and she does
Then we have Mr.. Jones the manager in the hotel who wants to be tied up by inga his crazy. I tell you
Then we have parson Mordecai the [baller] in the cricket game (AUDIO MUTED FOR 30 SECONDS)
Now we have Dr.
Fox his nickname is a doctor head or toe
because the woman that went to it to take care of their health [their]
Only went with aches of either their heads or hurts on their toes?
Because their husbands told them not to go if they heard any other place in their bodies
Why because this doctor?
was really [sneaky] and
if you hurt your elbow
He will
Even if he doesn't hurt or has nothing to do with it go and check your Pom Pom
That's what it said in her in the story. It's really awkward
Then we have inspector Williams the hospital of Mrs.
Williams the teacher from the beginning then we have miss Lindsay a post mistress
Then we have dr.. Brown an American from the live the review board and then we have the dr.
[King's] the king so [naeun] that's the only thing that [it's] said that [he's] a doctor and that [his] from Kingston
Then we have Mr.. Serene the administrator of the cemetery
[ok] and now in the last slide of my part we have other characters
they appear in the story, but they don't really have an impact of Sorts in the
plot of the story
we have the woman with a basket of jams she appears in the beginning of the story then we have the
of
Someone in the town, and she's an American woman to whom Alyssa speaks and freaks out
We have the rest of Aryans who?
get well with the losses and share their
Ganges as they say then we have the students from the school the girl that buys sugar inga's father
home [stop] sending her money and ask her to come [back] and
We have the [neighbours] miss thompson and Seven [children] the life Force and 15 persons
Croaker's and eight children
husband wife and wife's mother and ten dogs
we also have the trees the bushes rocks that speak to [a] losses, so
yeah, they
do appear in the story, but they don't make such a great impact to the plot and
That's all those are the characters from our story
Themes themes presented in the novel are various and this includes
economical problems rejection Love compassion
Economical problems of poverty is presented because of [leases] is hopeless
And he lives in the forest near the Village
also [in] some chapters
He has nothing to eat
The rejection is presented because the community reject services because he is a Madman according to them
in fact
Our teacher named Miss Williams
Said that book how vocabulary is not, faloona
love is presented in the novel because of leaves of fall in Love which [inga] [Smith], German and
for his best friend a
treat
and
Passion is presented because in de on the voices have a lot a lot of sex Accrue the story
I'm talking about the settings our main setting is Jamaica 300 years after Colonialism and
Jamaica is located in the Caribbean
Jamaica was an English colony from
[1655] and a British colony from
1707 until 1962 when it became him determinant our
Second place is the Baelish [where] eyelashes live we don't know exactly what this finish [is] but
Using otto rios has a reference. We [can] in fear that this is this village is located on the North Coast of Jamaica
Alice's favorite place was the Village school
in the book we read about how overcrowded the groups were and
All age school that is forced to combine has many has three sets of students in a single classroom
We're talking about 55 students per teacher and that facilities
but the government can do anything about [it] because there was no money and
teachers must try to do their best with [us] lever has was available, so
Our next setting is the vision here is where the lunatic passed most of his time?
Because he had no house or heart, but wonder
firstly from Place to Place often
[his] lips and open
here is where he saves his part and
actually
Here is where he knows anger while sleeping
we have the graveyard it's
the cemetery where the bushes family spirit and
last but not least is Osha rios where the kinetic learn a
Lot of words from the rest of Aryans on the street. This is the reference we use to locate the story
Osha, rios is a port town located in the North Coast of Jamaica a former fishing Village
Alisha's is a map man who lives in a village where everyone is aware of his madness
But they tolerated he is usually forced to do the dirty work that nobody wants [to] do
[Alicia's] only friends are the trees bushes and animals especially the flame heart tree?
Who is his best friend and to [why] he speaks the most?
This changes one day when his encounter sleeping by German tourists [angus] mix wandering around the countryside
inga is addicted to sex which [alisha's] seem to satisfy a
Lois falls in love with inga
But this romantic evil is turned apart when [Engle] invites the local butcher to join them as a Trio then
plant Tubercle mushroom mansion touch a rich man from the village but get caught
Inga disappears the butcher is found guilty and alisha's is set free but with the condition of being in custody
of someone responsible
the readers opinion on the lunatic [Elbe] selamat
And [carry] net all thought that this book was [very] funny, and they would definitely recommend it
Elba thought that some of the words of the book were kind of difficult to understand but
Nothing that a dictionary cannot fix
[reading] the book was a really good experience
It was very funny to read I recommend it to young adults and older people
but not for younger people because of its high
sexual content
It also made me [think] about those people who are rejected by society for being different
highly recommended
Janita and I both think that the [book] was really funny and that it was different from what we're used to reading
But a good different. We enjoyed the book we
really liked how the author
Developed the characters how [alloys] is interacted with?
non-Human Characters and
Overall the book is a very enjoyable and [easy-To-read] book
And that is all for today. You [can] find the book on all the platforms
Apple Books Audible Kindle Amazon Barnes & Noble's
ETC the prices go from
$10 to $15 and I really really loved if you check it out
