E3 is the foremost event for video gaming,
The Electronic Entertainment Expo is where pretty much all games are announced,
And while a huge amount of trailers and more were released,
We've gathered up our top 10 video games to look out for from E3 2017
10.
CALL OF DUTY WWII
Call of Duty in my eyes has long been saturated with the same old stuff,
I'm not a big multiplayer fan in general, I buy games for the campaigns,
I like stories that evolve over time and doing that with friends is great but fighting them
in the same ways over and over again gets old quick.
CoD 2 was the last one I played, not modern warfare 2 as everyone assumes, the literal
2nd Call of Duty game set in the Great War,
Well, this bad boy is set in World War 2, it has what looks to be a good campaign and
even the multiplayer has been remade with a more MMO feel to it where you can actually
talk to the people in a kind of central hub.
This is the first Call of Duty for a long time that I want to play, and it seems many
others are getting hyped to.
Call of Duty World War II is due for release on the 3rd of November this year and will
be available on the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.

SEA OF THIEVES
An extremely fun looking game, not to be taken too seriously,
saying that though it has a surprising amount of depth,
It is an open world MMO Action Adventure RPG,
It is of course about pirates, you and your buddies sail a ship around to many different
explorable island and shipwrecks and the like hunting for treasure, many different ways
to do this to suit each individual,
If you really wanted to you could just swim everywhere, but the Sharks would probably
get you sooner or later.
A much more casual look at the MMO genre, great to see and can be expected at some point
during spring of 2018 on Xbox One and PC only.
8.
CODE VEIN
This game looks so weird but amazing,
It's got anime style characters that don't look like they fit their surroundings, but
it kinda somehow just works,
A very very big Final Fantasy style atmosphere with a look of Dark Souls too.
It's got Vampires, Anime hotties, Swords, Magic, what more do you need?
This was an announcement video and was shown without a release date of any kind, it also
didn't specify what platforms,
But it did play in the Xbox Briefing so Xbox One is a solid bet, but I could see this being
one of the few titles to hit all 4 Major platforms, the Switch being the 4th.
7.
SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY
This one surprised me,
It takes you right back to your youth, if you are near my age of course, to playing
Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64,
It was 3D and had crazy awesome huge levels that were full of just fun original puzzles.
Super Mario Odyssey appears to be a true return to form with a Nintendo game doing exactly
what a Nintendo game does best.
Being really really fun, just fun, doesn't need to be difficult, or have super flashy
graphics or have any gimmicks, it just needs to be a delightful respite from the woes of
life.
Super Mario Odyssey is due for release on the 27th of October, delighting all switch
users with a near 100% certainty.
6.
SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS
A surprise addition to the Sony press conference line up,
A complete remake of the original for ultra high-def consoles and the like, other than
some tweaks that can now be used due to more powerful hardware,
The game will be a literal remake, all of the same content from the original is being
remade,
The 8 colossi that were cut from the original are also cut from this, there is no new content.
I never played the original but it is on my list of games that I must play purely down
to PewDiePie's passion for this game,
I like similar games in general so I know I'll enjoy it and now I can wait for an even
better-looking version to come out.
Shadow of the Colossus is set to be release in 2018, no specific release date has yet
been given.
Judging by the fact that Sony owns the trademark and it's a heavily Sony funded game, I'm gonna
go out on a limb and say it will likely be PS4 Exclusive.
5.
GOD OF WAR
In a Soft reboot that's sure to get your love for Norse mythology pumping,
God of War appears to have some fairly amazing action but is very story driven,
You appear to have gained a son very recently that you have very little faith in,
he's kinda tiny and still has his innocence in a world full of terrors.
You will teach him and you will fight together,
For what is yet to be revealed.
Set for release in early 2018 it is a Playstation Exclusive
4.
BEYOND GOOD & EVIL 2
In a galaxy where humans have colonised many planets and started to create human-animal
hybrids for the purposes of slave labour,
Space pirates will emerge.
A huge game taking place on numerous planet each with different choice, each choice affect
many other things,
your reputation, your allies, your loot, the ability to enter somewhere,
It's time for your hybrid ass to carve out a piece of this galaxy for yourself.
Watching the trailer is a good way to get an idea of this game and even then it won't
really help you fully understand the potential it has for greatness.
With no known release date and not even a solid platform, we're all a bit in the dark
here,
Ubisoft themselves announced it, be interesting to find out more though.
3.
SHADOW OF WAR
The more you see of this lord of the rings spin-off game the more you like it,
Shadow of Mordor shook things up with its nemesis system, having an enemy you maimed
or supposedly killed be resurrected or healed to then train up and hunt you for revenge
is an amazing concept for a game.
Well, this time the nemesis system has been beefed up like crazy with new features, the
game just looks like a massively upgraded version of the original,
which is what a sequel should be! listen to the fans, and study your previous work, the
best way to improve your content.
Set for release on the 10th of October for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
2.
METRO EXODUS
This is one of the few that really got me hyped,
To describe the atmosphere would be best said as Fallout yet steam punkish with hints of
Skyrim.
It is none of those games, but also kind of all of them.
It is based on the novels Metro 2033 and 2035 by Dmitry Glukhovsky,
I have not read the book but I might have to after seeing this trailer,
From the name of the book and the trailer itself we can gather it is based around 2034
on Earth after some sort of nuclear war, the weather and slight ash falling present a possible
volcano related apocalypse, but the animals being massively beefed up mutant versions
of wolves and bears and the like seem more like nukes.
The way the trailer works points to a more linear game than open world sandbox, which
if so could be disappointing but still, very very cool looking and one of my most anticipated
games from E3 2017.
With an extremely loose release date of 2018 it was announced at the Xbox Briefing with
no comment of exclusivity, so we can expect PS4, Xbox One and PC.
1.
ANTHEM
Anthem was announced at the end of the Xbox Briefing at E3,
It is BioWare's secret Project Dylan and it looks absolutely amazing,
An open World MMO RPG Action Adventure game set in a world that has seen troubles for
humanity and been reclaimed by many beasts and monsters,
You are a Hero of humanity armed with a super high tech Exo-Suit and powerful weapons,
Your mission is to better the future of humanity either as a lone wolf or with the help of
your friends.
Anthem has no specific release date, only said to hopefully be released in 2018, it
will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
