13 Signs Youre In What Is Known As A Karmic Relationship

By consciousreminder

For my new-age junkie friends, and also for those of you who are new to Eastern Philosophy,

almost every person goes through one or more karmic relationships during their lifetime.

Karmic relationships are not meant to last, and they are usually the biggest life lessons

in love.

Karmic relationships are different from twin flame and soulmate relationships. In a spiritual

context, karmic relationships are viewed from the lens of personal growth. Here are some

of the signs of a karmic relationship.

1. They repeat patterns. If youre on and off in your relationship, that is major sign

its a karmic one. If you seem to be experiencing the same kinds of relationship problems, that

is also a big red flag. Such relationships repeat the same patterns and remain stagnant,

because the only way you can grow from them is by letting go.

2. They are selfish. Karmic relationships do not respect healthy boundaries in their

partners. They serve only their own self-interest and needs. They are the perfect template for

forming abusive or co-dependent relationship complexes. While one person is very invested,

the other person views it more as a convenience.

3. They are addictive. They are characterized by highs and lows of passionate intensity.

One or both partners are more in love with the idea of love, based on superficial reasons

such as good looks, popularity, social or professional status.

4. They are controlling. They are obsessive and all about ownership of your partner. The

other person becomes the center of your universe, and the main source of your happiness. You

put them on a pedestal, and are unable to see their flaws.

5. They feel destined. You think that you cannot live without this person, and feel

like you both are somehow meant to be together. You cannot fathom why it keeps failing, and

you keep trying and hoping to get it right. They are extremely hard to resist, and keep

drawing you in, until you learn what you need to from it.

6. There is an instant connection. Such relationships are marked by an immediate attraction. This

person feels perfect to you. It feels like you have known them before, and you become

instantly attached to them.

7. They create dependency. You begin to feel consumed by the relationship, and it begins

to occupy your thoughts all the time. You cant help handing them all the power. You

become mentally, physically and emotionally dependent on this person.

8. They bring out your worst fears. They bring to the surface all the things you are deathly

afraid of. Fear of abandonment, fear of commitment, fear of rejection, fear of loss, fear of emotional

engulfment, and all the skeletons hiding in your closet.

9. They are irrational. They hold a mirror to your worst vulnerabilities and ugly insecurities.

You start acting unlike yourself, and do things that you wouldnt normally do.

10. They reveal your dark side. They show you your most undesirable and difficult characteristics

that you were previously unaware of. They painfully remind you how human you actually

are.

11. They are tumultuous. Such relationships are incredibly volatile, erratic and unpredictable.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to identify such a relationship, and learn

to let it go for your own good.

12. They push your buttons. The main purpose of these relationships is for you to learn

how to properly love yourself and others, such that you stop trying to control your

circumstances, become the master of your own ego, and focus on working on yourself.

13. They do not last. This person is not your forever person, how much ever you want to

hope, wish and believe in your fairytale ending. Contrary to what you see on television and

media, such relationships are born out of conflict and end in conflict. They are extremely

unhealthy, and usually do not last.

Fake Celebrity Friendships That Were Made Up By Hollywood - Duration: 3:53.

A good friend is hard to find; just ask some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

While celebrities often seem like the best of friends on screen or on stage, once the

cameras stop rolling, it's often a very different matter.

Here's a look at some supposed celebrity "friendships" that were totally invented by Hollywood.

Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian

They seem like they would be the perfect friends, but even though Beyonce and Kim Kardashian's

husbands Jay-Z and Kanye West often work and tour together, the relationship between Queen

Bey and Kim has never progressed beyond the photo op stage.

According to rumor, Beyonce just isn't into Kim, with a source telling Page Six "She is

always a little icy to Kim.

The last time they hung out, the minute Beyoncé could leave the conversation, she did.

They always have lots of awkward pauses when they speak."

This apparently got even more uncomfortable when Beyonce and Jay-Z skipped Kim and Kanye's

wedding.

Allegedly, Beyonce and Jay Z's names "were engraved in the marble table for the wedding

dinner," making their absence from the nuptials all the more awkward for the new bride.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall

Sure they seemed like the best of friends on Sex and the City, but all the lunch date

Cosmopolitans in the world couldn't make these co-stars get along once the cameras stopped

rolling.

Rumors of a feud between Parker and Cattrall have been circling in Tinseltown for years,

with the rift apparently beginning in the show's final season over the fact that Parker

was getting paid more than the rest of the cast.

The fight over money even dela yed production on both Sex and the City movies as well, making

a third seem increasingly doubtful.

Parker herself addressed the rumors with Marie Claire, admitting, "When you're on set, you're

working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted, there are times when all

of us have been sensitive and sometimes feelings get hurt.

But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."

Sounds like something Carrie Bradshaw might say.

Bea Arthur and Betty White

Things were anything but golden between Hollywood legends Betty White and Bea Arthur on the

set of the beloved '80s sitcom The Golden Girls.

According to White, "She found me a pain in the neck sometimes.

It was my positive attitude – and that made Bea mad sometimes.

Sometimes if I was happy, she'd be furious!"

"I don't know what I ever did.

I don't know, but she wasn't that thrilled with me.

But I loved Bea."

Is there nothing we can truly believe in anymore?!

Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson

Although they played best buddies-turned lovers Luke and Lorelai on Gilmore Girls, that chemistry

was all an act.

Though rumors have swirled for years that there was a feud between the two, Graham told

TV Guide that they had a professional, working relationship, and everything was "fine" between

them.

But anything beyond co-workers was wishful thinking on the part of fans and the media.

"We're not intimates…

It's a very functioning, working set, and I think some of that is helped by us having

a little bit of a life outside.

But I'm here an average of 50 hours a week, so there isn't a lot of socializing for any

of us."

Patterson, on the other hand, has revealed that he totally had a crush on her and wanted

to date her.

So… that probably explains the awkwardness right there.

"Luke, will you…"

"Yes."

"You don't have to…"

"Yes."

"You can take a minute to…"

"No."

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan

Daytime hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan seemed like the best of buds during their

four-year run together on Live! with Kelly and Michael.

But when Strahan revealed in April 2016 that he was leaving the show, fans discovered that

the two actually didn't get along at all behind closed doors.

Ripa staged a walkout in protest of being blindsided by Strahan's decision, and when

she returned, delivered a speech about demanding respect in the workplace.

"It started a much greater conversation about communication and consideration, and most

importantly, respect in the workplace."

It was so awkward, they moved up Strahan's departure date from the fall to May in order

to get him out of there sooner, but not before Ripa made it as uncomfortable as possible

for him.

Better treat her right, Ryan Seacrest!

Metroid Theory: Samus' Brother in Prime 4? - Duration: 12:14.

You know ever since Metroid Prime 4 was revealed some really interesting banter was roaming about.

To what the title will be about and how it will play. Granted we didn't really see much in the trailer to infer things specifically,

but there is one thing we can talk about in the footage given.

And it has something to do with Samus's past.

Within Metroid's expanded universe the story of Samus Aran is a bit grim. To losing her parents at a young age during a brutal attack,

and living an abnormal life. However a little known detail is that Samus may have not lost her entire family when she was young.

In the Blood of the Chozo story, it tells that Samus had a younger brother by the name of Solomon Aran.

Who went missing and was later presumed dead.

Later as the story would have it, would follow Samus's exploits in being raised by the Chozo. And later following her career as a bounty hunter.

Now this is where we come full circle back to Metroid Prime 4. Now according to Prime Producer Kensuke Tanabe

along with other sources, wished for a title that pushed a dynamic between both Samus and Sylux.

To bring up to speed to those who aren't familiar, during the events of Metroid Prime Hunters Samus encounters various bounty hunters.

One of them being Sylux. Now in the title he doesn't really play too big of a role, in fact he barely has any character within this entry.

But for some reason Kensuke Tanabe wants to flesh him out as a character, now why is that?

Later in the Prime trilogy Sylux's ship, the Delano 7 is seen chasing Samus's ship

And later during Federation Force, a figure presumably Sylux stole a Metroid hatchling.

Now what is Sylux's motive in all this? At the end of Prime 3 Sylux went after Samus almost as if he has a personal motive behind it.

In fact it seems as though wherever Samus goes, Sylux is not too far behind.

And considering Kensuke Tanabe's past statements. I think fair conjecture would point towards a Samus and Sylux confrontation in Prime 4.

Now Sylux's true motives in chasing down Samus may be something reserved for Prime 4, so we don't have much information about it. However we can

still analyze Sylux's background. Unfortunately there isn't much of it, in fact we had to use information from Smash Bros

from all places. But luckily for us the information adds up and isn't contradictory.

For one Sylux's gear, such as his armor along with his weaponry is largely Federation in origin. Even his ship is also stolen from the said organization.

So what does that tell us? Well if anything it shows that he is highly resourceful, but it also says he has deep resentment towards the Federation.

A resentment that must of stemmed from something he experienced. Going back to the time where Samus encountered Sylux in Prime Hunters,

they first met in Vesper Defense Outpost. According to lore the station is used as a refueling and munitions dump. But what is interesting is the name behind the station, "Vesper."

In Greek mythology Hesperus or the Roman equivalent Vesper, alludes to the evening star. Or the evening in general. Now in the same mythos, Vesper has

a brother or a half-brother by the name of Phosphorus, which alludes to the morning star. Now notice the contrast here between night and day.

So how does this tie into everything else? Well this is where it gets interesting. Now if we compare and contrast Sylux and Samus starting

with their names some similarities can come about. For one they each have five letters in their names and both begin with the letter S.

The name Samus of course references the bounty hunter. But the name Sylux comes to special importance. So let's break it down to the phrases "sy" and "lux."

Now the word "lux" refers to a unit of illumination equal to the direct illumination. In brief the word lux refers to units known as lumens, which then refers to light itself.

Combine this with the word "sy" which is a suffix that forms nouns or adjectives, to mock or disapprove the later phrase. What you get in the name "Sylux"

is essentially "Mocking the Light." Which fits Sylux as a character well, as he harbors resentment against the federation.

While at the same time using their equipment, almost as if he is mocking their light, or in this case technology.

And going back to where Samus and Sylux first met in Vesper station. Which alludes to both Vesper and Phosphorus, the evening star and the morning star.

Night and Day, Dark and Light. And considering how we pointed out that the name Sylux may mean mocking the light,

who first appeared in Vesper station which alludes to the evening star. So what does that make Samus in contrast?

Well to answer that let's take a look in Metroid Prime 1. Within Chozo Lore an interesting prophecy is made, known as the Prophecy of Light. Which reads.

"Throughout our living nightmare, as we battle with this unyielding darkness, we chozo see a light. This light glows with promise, chasing the shadows cast by the Great Poison

and purifying that which has grown toxic. It is strange, though - at times it looks to our eyes as if the light coalesces into the figure of a woman.

Burning brightly, the luminescence descends from space then retreats back into the infinite blackness from whence it came. When this prophecy comes to pass,

when the light recedes, the Chozo long vigilance of containment will finally come to an end."

So in other words, the Light is symbolized as Samus herself. And going back to Sylux,

whose name means mocking of the light. And along with the many mythological references. What does this all mean?

Well I believe that there is an unknown connection between both Sylux and Samus, but to explore this further let's take a look at the Prime 4 trailer.

In it you see what appears to be blue gas forming into the screw attacks symbol. Now this S symbol also means other things besides that,

for one it's on labels to many games. But it also references Samus herself, think of it as a character logo of her.

But notice that it is blue in color. Now what other things in the Metroid universe abide by that color, well for one phazon is. But ever since Prime 3

happened, Phazon is not longer a thing in the Metroid universe. So what else? Well this may allude to Sylux, who also abides by that color,

And again considering Kensuke Tanabe past comments along with him chasing Samus at the end of Prime 3, this could make sense.

But there is one more thing to consider. Sylux's symbol, or more accurately his weapon insignia is known as the shock coil. And it has a fairly unique shape.

Not only is it blue in color, but it appears as though it is a mirrored Screw Attack symbol, Samus's symbol. So what does this all mean, from all the points

we made so far in the video. To the greek mythos that points Sylux and Samus to be two sides of the same coin, in addition to their symbols.

Remember at the beginning of this video, where in the Blood of the Chozo story, alludes that Samus's brother

went missing and was later presumed dead. Now what if Solomon Aran, Samus's brother is actually Sylux.

If that is the case, then all of this symbolism between Sylux and Samus being mirror images of each other can make sense. Since they would be

literally two sides of the same coin. But to add another point of reference to support this notion, we go to Sylux's ship which is named the Delano 7.

Now the name Delano comes from a French surname, indicating that the bearer was from a place known as La Noue. Which is Gaulish, meaning "wetland or swamp."

And if Sylux is Solomon, then he like Samus would be from K-2L their homeworld. And the same planet holds a

wetland and swampy environment. The same area if Sylux is Solomon is where he supposedly died.

But if Sylux is Solomon what else does that tell us? Why does he bear resentment towards the federation and presumably Samus. Well I am honestly not sure,

if he is Solomon then allot of time must of passed until he finally donned the mantel of Sylux. Perhaps something personal happened to him to turn out this way.

After all if he was presumed dead, then he would have essentially been all by himself. To survive by his own means and no one else's.

Perhaps he held resentment towards the federation as a government body, that in his eyes failed to protect his family or perhaps something else.

But the thought of Sylux being Solomon, Samus's lost kin is infinitely interesting to me. Imagine if Metroid Prime 4

used this as its narrative to tell a more personal side of Samus and her past, in other words Other M done right.

And if this scenario is the case, imagine exploring the planet K-2L as the foundation. To explore Samus's homeworld,

where her family died. And use that to flesh out the confrontation between Sylux and herself.

And considering how Kensuke Tanabe wants to flesh out a confrontation between the two in the past. Perhaps using this dynamic of

Samus confronting her lost kin, Solomon will be the way he wants to take the story.

But what do you guys think? Is Solomon Aran, Samus's lost brother Sylux? And is this the reason why he has such an attachment towards her,

to following her around in space. And does the symbolism between the two indicate this? And is this the story we will see in Metroid Prime 4?

But to be devil's advocate for a moment here. There are flaws in this theory, the biggest one being the reliability of the Blood of the Chozo story.

Since it was discontinued with some of its plot points being altered as time went on. Strangely though the character

Solomon Aran was never touched upon again since. What does this mean I am not sure.

But I enjoyed making this theory nonetheless, special thanks goes to our Patreon Producers for helping make this video possible.

So wow, I think this is my first Metroid theory. Did you like it, should I make more? Comment below. So what is next for the channel? Well I have been meaning

to make a theory about the Gerudo in Zelda, mainly why they are a all female tribe. So I will be tackling that this thursday, see you then for that.

Well then, this video was certainly a mouthful. Well guys I have to be heading out now, have a great and wonderful rest of the day or night, and take care!

Dragon Ball Fighters Still SUCK. Dragon Ball FighterZ COULD Change That - Duration: 3:57.

Are we ready to admit that most anime games suck now?

I'll even accept if we can agree that they suck, just a little bit…

In an unexpected turn of events we got a brand new Dragon Ball game announcement.

A Dragon Ball game announcement that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do, with the half-baked formula

we've been seeing up until now.

Up until NOW if you're blissfully unaware many of us Dragon Ball fans have suffered

through games that are made with the game itself being put on the back burner.

We've gotten far too many games that are ALL spectacle and no real gameplay.

This approach leads to die hards loving the game because it LOOKS like Dragon Ball but

reviewers panning the game because it PLAYS like *censored.* Dragon Ball FighterZ seems

to be attempting to buck this trend and meeting everybody in the middle.

The game is GORGEOUS and arguably even more importantly for the larger success of the

game in more communities than the die hard Dragon Ball community, it looks to play just

as well.

The attention to detail in Fighter Z is incredible, it has the South Park Stick of Truth "playing

an episode of the show" feel, and that's not necessarily new, other than the lack of

the 2D art styles past games have that in common.

What IS new is that fighter Z achieves this in a way that doesn't strip control away

from the player.

The control schemes of past games felt stilted, unbalanced, and in many cases frankly not

fun to interact with.

Fighter Z has the DNA of competitive level games and is being developed with my personal

favorite game design philosophy of them all, easy to learn, hard to master.

& that's not to say the other Dragon Ball games WEREN'T easy to learn, they just were

shallow.

The controls are easy enough to grasp but more often than not, there's no real depth

there.

You won't see those games at EVO, and you certainly won't see a fighting game snob

playing it, that's for sure.

In old games every character that isn't Goku, Vegeta, or a major villain flat out

sucks because of health differences and unbalanced move pools.

Transformations were handled in such a way that lead to the majority of the characters

in the games being severely outclassed.

The online multiplayer almost never worked.

The problems are endless, really the only redeeming factor of the games have nothing

to do with the fact that they're games at all.

When the only good thing about your game is the license it's based on, you have a problem.

The industry has largely moved on from that, with anime games being the exception.

& I find it weird that many fans have grown to accept this, I personally want the source

material I enjoy to be represented in a way that has merit in different mediums.

I think it's a good thing if a non Dragon Ball fan can pick up a game and love it based

on it's strengths as a game, I think it would be AWESOME if a game reviewer that HATED

anime could pick up a Dragon Ball game and love it based on it's gameplay mechanics

and presentation alone.

I truly believe Dragon Ball Fighter Z has the potential to do that for the simple fact

that the devs didn't just stop at studying the Dragon Ball universe (though it's DEFINITELY

clear that they did their homework in that area too) they studied the fighting game genre.

That says to me that they care if players receive a game that's more than a novelty

piece.

That says to me that they believe in Dragon Ball's potential to be relevant in the fighting

game community.

& most importantly it says to me that they want to make a game that is worth critical

praise, not just love from fans that will love it based on nothing more than the fact

that it's Dragon Ball.

& don't get me wrong, I don't think there's anything wrong with loving a game because

of it's source material, after all, many people only give games chances that catch

their eye on a superficial level, myself included.

But, there needs to be more substance beyond the source material, a game is about more

than window dressing.

I just want a game that looks good but first foremost plays the part too.

But those are my thoughts what do YOU think?

Are you excited for more Dragon Ball FighterZ?

Or do you think Dragon Ball games are fine as is?

Let me know in the comments! & don't forget to like the video, but MOST importantly be

sure to subscribe for more Dragon Ball talk!

Ok, that's it for me, see you next week.

Execution By Firing Squad The Militarized Police State Opens - politics - Duration: 7:22.

Execution By Firing Squad: The Militarized Police State Opens Fire

It is often the case that police shootings, incidents where law enforcement officers pull

the trigger on civilians, are left out of the conversation on gun violence.

But a police officer shooting a civilian counts as gun violence.

Every time an officer uses a gun against an innocent or an unarmed person contributes

to the culture of gun violence in this country.Journalist Celisa Calacal

Legally owning a gun in America could get you killed by a government agent.

While it still technically remains legal to own a firearm in America, possessing one can

now get you pulled over, searched, arrested, subjected to all manner of surveillance, treated

as a suspect without ever having committed a crime, shot at and killed.

This same rule does not apply to government agents, however, who are armed to the hilt

and rarely given more than a slap on the wrists for using their weapons to shoot and kill

American citizens.

According to the Washington Post, 1 in 13 people killed by guns are killed by police.

Just recently, for example, a Minnesota jury acquitted a police officer who shot and killed

32-year-old Philando Castile, a school cafeteria supervisor, during a routine traffic stop

merely because Castile disclosed that he had a gun in his possession, for which he had

a lawful conceal-and-carry permit.

Thats all it took for police to shoot Castile four times as he was reaching for his license

and registration.

Castiles girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter witnessed the entire exchange.

Earlier this year, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Florida police will

not be held accountable for banging on the wrong door at 1:30 am, failing to identify

themselves as police, and then repeatedly shooting and killing the innocent homeowner

who answered the door while holding a gun in self-defense.

Continuing its own disturbing trend of siding with police in cases of excessive use of force,

a unanimous Supreme Court recently acquitted police who recklessly fired 15 times into

a backyard shack in which a homeless coupleAngel and Jennifer Mendezwas sheltering.

Incredibly, the Court ruled that the shooting was justified because Angel was allegedly

seen holding a BB gun that he used for shooting rats.

What these cases add up to is a new paradigm in which legally owning a gun turns you into

a target for government sharp-shooters.

Ironically, while America continues to debate who or what is responsible for gun violencethe

guns, the gun owners, or our violent culturelittle has been said about the greatest perpetrator

of violence in American society: the U.S. government.

Violence has become the governments calling card, starting at the top and trickling down,

from the more than 80,000 SWAT team raids carried out every year on unsuspecting Americans

by heavily armed, black-garbed commandos and the increasingly rapid militarization of local

police forces across the country to the drone killings used to target insurgents.

You want to reduce gun violence?

Start with the government.

The governments arsenal of weapons makes the average Americans handgun look like

a Tinker Toy.

Under the auspices of a military recycling program, which allows local police agencies

to acquire military-grade weaponry and equipment, more than $4.2 billion worth of equipment

has been transferred from the Defense Department to domestic police agencies since 1990.

In the hands of government agents, whether they are members of the military, law enforcement

or some other government agency, these weapons have become accepted instruments of tyranny,

routine parts of Americas day-to-day life, a byproduct of the rapid militarization of

law enforcement over the past several decades.

This lopsided, top-heavy, authoritarian state of affairs is not the balance of power the

founders intended for we the people.

The Second Amendment, in conjunction with the multitude of prohibitions on government

overreach enshrined in the Bill of Rights, was supposed to serve as a clear shackle on

the governments powers.

To founders such as Thomas Jefferson, who viewed the government as a powerful entity

that must be bound down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution, the right

to bear arms was no different from any other right enshrined in the Constitution: it was

intended to stand as a bulwark against a police state.

As I explain in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, without any

one of those freedoms, we are that much more vulnerable to the vagaries of out-of-control

policemen, benevolent dictators, genuflecting politicians, and overly ambitious bureaucrats.

Writing for Counterpunch, journalist Kevin Carson warns that prohibiting Americans from

owning weapons would lead to further erosion of Fourth Amendment protections against search

and seizure, further militarization of local police via SWAT teams, and further expansion

of the squalid empire of civil forfeiture, perjured jailhouse snitch testimony, entrapment,

planted evidence, and plea deal blackmail.

This is exactly what those who drafted the U.S. Constitution feared: that laws and law

enforcers would be used as tools by a despotic government to wage war against the citizenry.

Now dont get me wrong.

I do not believe that violence should ever be the answer to our problems.

Still theres something to be said for George Orwells view that that rifle hanging

on the wall of the working-class flat or labourers cottage is the symbol of democracy.

It is our job to see that it stays there.

The Second Amendment serves as a check on the political power of the ruling authorities.

It represents an implicit warning against governmental encroachments on ones freedoms,

the warning shot over the bow to discourage any unlawful violations of our persons or

property.

Certainly, dictators in past regimes have understood this principle only too well.

As Adolf Hitler noted, The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to

allow the subject races to possess arms.

History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms

have prepared their own downfall by so doing.

It should come as no surprise, then, that starting in December 1935, Jews in Germany

were prevented from obtaining shooting licenses, because authorities believed that to allow

them to do so would endanger the German population.

In late 1938, special orders were delivered barring Jews from owning firearms, with the

punishment for arms possession being 20 years in a concentration camp.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Yet it is a history that we should be wary of repeating.
