More Evidence of US Support for ISIS

Straightaway after Trumps January 20 swearing in ceremony, a White House statement said

defeating ISIS and other terrorist groups is the administrations highest priority,

adding

To defeat and destroy these groups, we will pursue aggressive joint and coalition

military operations when necessary.

In addition, the Trump Administration will work with international partners to cut off

funding for terrorist groups, to expand intelligence sharing, and to engage in cyberwarfare to

disrupt and disable propaganda and recruiting. Instead of defeat(ing) and destroy(ing)

these groups, the Trump administration actively supports them.

Photographic evidence shows ISIS firing US-made TOW-guided anti-tank missiles against government

forces.

In last years battle for Aleppo, al-Nusra terrorists used these weapons, according to

Russian General Sergei Rudskoi supplied by the Obama administration.

ISIS was earlier supplied with shoulder-launched, man-portable, easy to operate, surface-to-air

missiles (SAMS), able to down helicopters and low-flying aircraft.

These weapons are still likely being supplied to the group and other anti-government forces.

Washington and its rogue allies covertly support the scourge they claim to oppose.

Numerous times Bashar al-Assad accused Western and regional countries of supporting ISIS

and other terrorist groups combating government forces.

On Saturday, his political and media advisor Bouthiana Shaaban accused Washington of arming

and financing ISIS, flagrantly violating Security Council Resolution 2253 (December 2015) sponsored

by Russia and America, unanimously adopted.

It covers an asset freeze, travel ban, arms embargo and lists criteria for designating

ISIS, al-Qaeda, and associated individuals, groups, undertaking and entities as terrorist

groups.

It states parties responsible for committing, organizing or supporting terrorist acts must

be held accountable.

It called on member states to cooperate fully in investigating incidents involving these

groups.

It stressed the obligation of member states to prevent their nationals or persons in their

countries from aiding them economically and/or militarily.

Russia and Iran scrupulously observe its principles.

America and its rogue allies repeatedly violate them.

Separately, according to Libyas Al-Manar TV, Iraqi forces regained control of the strategically

important al-Waleed checkpoint on the Syria border located near the al-Tanf border

crossing, along the important Syrian/Iraqi/Jordanian triangle.

Related BREAKING: Russia Halts Cooperation with US in Syria, Citing US Support for ISIS

 Will Intercept Any Aircraft

Last week, Syrian Defense Ministry officials held talks with their Iraqi counterparts in

Baghdad on coordinating border security and combating a common enemy, which is the

terrorist Daesh (ISIS) organization, adding: We discussed holding Syria-Iraq borders

to maintain pressure on the terrorist enemy and establishing a joint operations center

through which both sides can coordinate. On Saturday, Syrian General Mohammad Issa

said (s)ending US missiles to al-Tanf is (part

of a) US (plan) to create a small ISIL state along the Syrian, Iraqi and Jordanian borders

to separate Syria from Iraq and Iran, and turn it into a marginalized country which

doesnt play any role in the region. A similar scheme is planned for northern Syria

to separate it from Damascus control part of a diabolical US plot to destroy

the countrys sovereignty.

Leading The Multipolar Revolution How Russia And China Are Creat - Duration: 17:04.

Leading The Multipolar Revolution: How Russia And China Are Creating A New World Order

The last thirty days have shown another kind of world that is engaging in cooperation,

dialogue and diplomatic efforts to resolve important issues.

The meeting of the members of the Belt and Road Initiative laid the foundations for a

physical and electronic connectivity among Eurasian countries, making it the backbone

of sustainable and renewable trade development based on mutual cooperation.

A few weeks later, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting in Astana outlined the

necessary conditions for the success of the Chinese project, such as securing large areas

of the Eurasian block and improving dialogue and trust among member states.

The following AIIB (Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank) meeting in ROK will layout the economical

necessities to finance and sustain the BRI projects.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)

have many common features, and in many ways seem complementary.

The SCO is an organization that focuses heavily on economic, political and security issues

in the region, while the BRI is a collection of infrastructure projects that incorporates

three-fifths of the globe and is driven by Beijing's economic might.

In this context, the Eurasian block continues to develop the following initiatives to support

both the BRI and SCO mega-projects.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CTSO) is a Moscow-based organization focusing

mainly on the fight against terrorism, while the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)

is a Beijing-based investment bank that is responsible for generating important funding

for Beijings long-term initiatives along its maritime routes (ports and canals) and

overland routes (road, bridges, railways, pipelines, industries, airports).

The synergies between these initiatives find yet another point of convergence in the Eurasian

Economic Union (EEU).

Together, the SCO, BRI, CTSO, AIIB, and EEU provide a compelling indication of the direction

in which humanity is headed, which is to say towards integration, cooperation and peaceful

development through diplomacy.

On the other side we have the old world order made up of the IMF, the World Bank,

the European Union, the UN, NATO, the WTO, with Washington being the ringmaster at the

center of this vision of a world order.

It is therefore not surprising that Washington should look askance at these Eurasian initiatives

that threaten to deny its central and commanding role in the global order in favor of a greater

say by Moscow, Beijing, New Delhi and even Tehran.

One of the most significant and noteworthy events in the last month, or even in recent

years, has been the admission into the SCO of India and Pakistan, two nuclear powers

with a history of tension and conflict between them.

These two countries are critical to the peaceful and fruitful integration of Eurasia.

The slow, two-year process of India and Pakistans admission into the SCO benefited greatly from

China and Russias mediation, culminating in the historical agreement signed by Modi,

Sharif, Putin and Xi.

This is not to mention Afghanistans Ghani being at the same table with Modi and Sharif,

representing one of the most infamous locations where Eurasian powers have clashed with each

other, acting as an obstacle to the integration and development of the region.

The main goal of the new SCO organization is a peaceful mediation between New Delhi

and Islamabad, and certainly to reach a wider agreement that can include Afghanistan.

Kabul is a good example of how the SCO can offer the ideal framework for achieving a

definitive peace settlement.

This reflects the sentiment that was expressed during the meeting that took place a few weeks

ago in Moscow between Pakistan, India, China, Russia and Afghanistan over the complicated

situation in the country.

Clearly there are conflicting interests, and it is only through the mediation of Beijing

and Moscow that it will be possible to reach a wider agreement and end the 16-year-old

conflict.

Afghanistan is a good example of how the SCO intends to support the BRI.

In this sense, it is important to note that Moscow and Beijing have decided to engage

in a partnership that looks more like an alliance with long-term projects planned deep into

2030.

The extent to which Russia and China are committed to common initiatives and projects can be

seen in the BRI, SCO, AIIB and CTSO.

Security and Development Beijing is fully aware that it is impossible

to defeat terrorism without laying the foundation for economic growth in underdeveloped countries

in Africa, Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia.

Terrorist organizations are generally better able to recruit from populations suffering

from low income and poor schooling.

The SCO is required to manage and control its members most unstable areas (Central

Asian republics, Afghanistan, India-Pakistan border, Beijing-New Delhi relations) and mediate

between parties.

The BRI and SCO go hand in hand, one being unable to operate without the other, as Xi

and Putin have reiterated.

The SCO and BRI are both capable of meeting the challenges of economic growth through

development and progress.

Just looking at the BRI's major projects helps one understand the level and extent of integration

that has been agreed.

The Eurasian Land Bridge begins in Western China and ends in Western Russia.

The China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor begins in Northern China and arrives in Eastern

Russia.

Central Asia will be connected to Western Asia, which practically means China linking

with Turkey.

The China-Indochina corridor runs from Southern China to Singapore; and the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar

corridor starts in Southern China and arrives in India.

The nearly completed China-Pakistan corridor starts in south-western China and reaches

Pakistan.

Finally, the maritime route running from the Chinese coast through to Singapore will reach

the Mediterranean in Greece or, in the future, Venice.

What is evident is that countries like India, Singapore, Turkey and Myanmar, just to name

a few, do not wish to miss the opportunity to join this initiative that promises to revolutionize

trade and globalization as we know it.

Todays main economic problems, as well as the problem posed by terrorism, stems from

the lack of economic growth brought on by a globalization that enriches the elites at

the expense of ordinary people.

The BRI aims to reinvent globalization, avoiding the protectionist drift that many countries

today adopt in response to an aggressive and failed approach to globalization.

Beijing intends to bring about a radical change to its industries by restructuring its production

and boosting its investment in technology, generating more internal consumption, and

becoming a country that offers services and not only manufacturing.

For this process to be successful, it will be fundamental to reorganize the regional

supply chain by transferring production to more competitive countries that will play

important roles in sectors such as agriculture, energy, logistics and industrial projects.

Southeast Asia in particular seems to offer ideal destinations for transferring Chinese

industries.

In this process of transforming a good part of the globe, some countries currently outside

of the SCO organization are nevertheless fully part of the integration schemes and will play

a decisive role in the future.

In particular, Iran, Turkey and Egypt are the main focus when one looks at their geographical

position.

The importance of these three countries vis-a-vis the SCO arises mainly from the need of the

organization to pursue its work of political expansion and, in the future, to counter militarily

the problem of terrorism and its spread.

Naturally, countries like Iran and Egypt already devote a large part of their resources towards

counteracting the terrorist phenomenon in the Middle East and North Africa.

Their entry into the SCO would be seen by many protagonists of the BRI, especially China,

as providing the opportunity to expand their projects in areas in North Africa and the

Middle East that are currently tumultuous.

This should not come as a surprise, since even countries like Jordan and Israel have

been taken into account by Beijing for important infrastructure projects related to the transport

of desalinated water to regions with a high rate of drought.

With Israel, the Chinese partnership is stronger than ever, counting on various factors such

as technological development and the expansion of several Israeli ports to connect more Chinese

maritime routes with destinations in the Mediterranean like Piraeus in Greece and probably Venice

in Italy.

Turkey's entry into the SCO is mainly aimed at gathering the region's major oil and gas

suppliers and consumers under a single umbrella guaranteed by the SCO.

These operations take time and a degree of cooperation that is hard to maintain, although

the resolution of the situation in Syria, in addition to the crisis in the Gulf between

Qatar and Saudi Arabia, could accelerate synergies and easily facilitate them.

The entry of Iran, Egypt and Turkey into the SCO is inevitable, receiving the strong encouragement

of China and Russia, especially as regards the future connection between BRI and other

infrastructure projects that are part of the EEU.

The advantages are quite obvious to everyone, bringing about greater integration and infrastructure

links, the increase of trade between nations, and general cooperation in mutual development.

Products can travel from one country to another based on conditions determined bilaterally,

something that often favors bigger nations rather than smaller ones.

The intention of ??China's Globalization 2.0, coupled with a Eurasian revival of the EEU,

is to change the future of humanity by shifting the global pole of globalization and development

towards the east.

The BRI is immense and mind boggling in its scope, given that it embraces realities ranging

from Panama (focused on the extended channel and the Nicaragua project for a new channel)

to Australia, passing through Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Persian Gulf.

Naturally, in this delicate balance, Europe is called on to play a decisive role in the

future.

The United States, with its America First policy, has already burned bridges with the

Chinese BRI revolution, and indeed hopes to throw a spanner in Chinas works.

European countries including England, France, Germany and Italy have already begun to sign

onto various Chinese proposals.

It looks as if Americas allies are no longer listening to their former boss.

The European Central Bank has for the first time diversified $500m into Yuan currency,

and London, together with Rome, Berlin and Paris, was present in Beijing for the launch

of the BRI.

France, Germany and England sent high-level representations and delegations, Italy directly

the Prime Minister.

For Europe, the largest exporter to China and the second-largest regional block importing

from China, it is inevitable that it will be an integral part of the BRI, looking to

reach Iran, Turkey and Egypt for energy supplies and diversifying sources, all within the framework

of the BRI.

In this process of Eurasian integration, there are some key countries to keep in mind, but

the first steps have already been made with almost indissoluble ties having been made

between Moscow and Beijing, as well as the monumental inclusion of Pakistan and India

at the same table.

With an understanding between India, Russia and China, as well as a lack of hostility

to the project in Iran, Israel, Germany, England, Turkey and Egypt, it will be possible to speed

up this global change, bringing it to the African countries, Gulf monarchies, South

Asian countries, and even South and Central America.

Even Washington's historic allies like Israel, Saudi Arabia and the EU vacillate in the face

of such an opportunity to broaden their horizons with significant gains.

As far as their alliance with the United States, in this world rapidly heading towards a multipolar

world order, not even Riyadh, Tel Aviv or London can afford the luxury of ignoring the

project that perhaps more than any other will revolutionize the future of humanity in the

near future.

Not being a part of it is simply not an option.

The United States has two diametrically opposed options before it.

It can operate alongside the BRI project, trying to fashion its own sphere of influence,

albeit smaller than the countries residing within the Eurasian continent; but of course

for Washington, simply being part of a grand project may not be enough, since it is used

to getting its own way and subordinating the interests of other countries to its own.

If the US decides to try and sabotage the BRI with their normal tools like terrorism,

it is very likely that the countries historically aligned with Washington in these affairs (such

as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia) will be subjected to Chinese economic pressure and encouraged

to instead participate in a more positive manner.

Cooperation against Threats The main question is the extent to which Chinese

economic persuasion will succeed in overcoming US military threats.

In this respect the SCO will be a decisive factor as it expands its influence beyond

the Eurasian bloc into Africa and the Middle East.

To date, the SCO cannot be considered a military bloc opposed to NATO.

Everything will depend on the pressures that the United States will bring to bear on participating

countries.

Therefore, it is likely that the SCO will evolve to include a strong military aspect

in order to counter American destabilization efforts.

It is difficult to predict whether the US will be neutral or belligerent.

But considering recent history, American hostility is likely to force Moscow and Beijing into

an asymmetric response that will hit Washington where it hurts most, namely its economic interests.

Aiming at the dollar, and in particular the petrodollar, seems to be the best bet for

advancing the BRI, threatening a massive de-dollarization that would end in disaster for Washington.

This is the nuclear option that Beijing and Moscow are looking into, with more than a

desire to accelerate this economic shift.

The future of humanity seems to be changing in exciting and unprecedented ways.

The full integration of the Eurasian bloc will eventually end up changing the course

of history, allowing nations that are currently weak and poor to withstand colonial pressures

and broaden their cooperation and dialogue.

Peace as a method for developing synergies and prosperity seems to be the new paradigm,

contrasting with war and destruction as has been the case

in the last decades.

Are You A Prisoner In Your Own World - Duration: 7:05.

Are You A Prisoner In Your Own World

by Deane Thomas,

Being incarcerated or imprisoned is part of some of our lives, it is an inevitable part

of living in a big society.

Whether we have committed a crime, or subject to some other form intervention of authorities,

being banged up is probably one of the hardest things a person can go through.

Innocent or guilty, the person goes through a whole series of emotions, which are meant

to bring them to a point of true self.

Spiritual awakening is very similar in all respects to being a prisoner in effect

we are a prisoner in our own world.

A world which we have created for ourselves, and one that only we can accept as true.

Many prisoners start to blame the system, or others, or a whole series of other excuses.

Eventually they will reach a point where they have no choice but to accept responsibility

themselves.

This is also parallel path followed when going through awakening, we become trapped in our

own mind, body and soul.

There is only one answer, and solution to process all of our life, come to terms with

it, embrace it and then release it.

Accepting responsibility for ALL our actions is paramount, and before you start to go off

and start to seek another possibility, STOP.

It is a fact that our truth is real, and so many are afraid of what it all means, especially

a former prison inmate.

In reality society is far too quick to judge others for their lives, and what they have

ever done, and this is a fundamental flaw in todays way of living.

We become presumptuous, opinionated and swayed based on other peoples say so, or interpretation,

before we have even said more than 4 sentences.

The Awakening Journey!

As with a prisoner, he or she has a release date, and in some cases maybe entitled for

an early release for good behavior and in compliance with the system rules!!

How the prisoner becomes or adjusts to life inside is his choice, he will flow through

the system irrespective, for the system is in control.

The awakening journey on the other hand is all in our power.

We can choose to hold on to all that no longer serves us, and continue in a vicious circle

of repetitive events or situations.

Alternatively, we can begin to embrace what is happening and go within for the answers.

The awakening journey is very tough, as no-one really likes to examine themselves with a

microscope do they?

But it is that action that leads to the biggest rewards.

During the early days of the journey we realize there is a bigger aspect to this whole story.

One that is incredible and miraculous, but also one that will take us to the darkest

places we have ever been.

Once it has begun, we do have the choice to stop, but that really defeats the purpose!

No Turning Back!

As time passes, the journey eases, and becomes a transformation of the mind, very similar

to being imprisoned.

The mind becomes free of the things that once plagued it, and big new thoughts are being

added.

We have come to terms with who we are in all that we are and in all our truth.

Others will notice this in you, and will either love it or loath it this is their choice.

At the end of the day, no matter what we have done in our lives, we can have no regrets.

We have to accept it all, and heal it through bringing in the love energy that we all possess.

We can ask for forgiveness of others, and of ourselves but this is not something

we must carry everyday like a bag of rocks.

If others judge or stigmatize the situation, instead of reacting, simply take a second

and respond properly.

You are not obliged to keep dragging it all up, what is done is done, as long it has been

healed and processed from a position of love.

Once the threshold has been reached, there is no turning back we can no longer be

taken back to jail for the offenses committed.

The same once we have processed our life and opened our heart to love.

Life simply continues in a whole new energy, and one that will nourish and feed us in a

truly remarkable way.

Switching off the monkeys in the mind is a true testimony of self-mastery, and one that

each of us deserves to be proud of.

Like a person who leaves prison, there can be no looking back there can only be mastering

the new reality of freedom.

Whatever decisions are made from that point they are crucial to creating a new loving

life in peace.

We all pay our dues, we are all human beings who do things for reasons we often cant

explain.

Waking up is one aspect of life we will all face, eventually.

Avoidance Of Truth!

We can avoid waking up by filling our lives with unnecessary things, or work, or anything

else to have no time left to think.

Believe me the Universe will bring that little fantasy to an end, and make sure you understand

that you are a messenger of love and light.

And usually these things come in one big mountain of issues, just to be sure you get the message,

that there is something you need to do.

The longer we avoid our own truth, or ignore the signs of spiritual and mental meltdown,

we are just accumulating energy that will have to be dealt with.

What I can share is that the darker and deeper we go within, the brighter and lighter the

new life we create will become.

These are some of the wonderful aspects of waking up, and stepping into the love and

powerful energies of the universe.

Quite literally waking up is freeing the mind, body and soul from millennia of imprisonment,

and one that is necessary for humanity to grow and prosper.

Much love to one

and all!

Laws of Light: How Light Conveys Emotion - Duration: 12:37.

Jay: Today on the "Laws of Light," we're gonna talk about the emotion of light.

It's gonna be emotional.

Our Mastering Studio Strobes download is meant to help you move into the world of strobes.

It'll help you understand what platform works for you in the type of work you do.

So, go to theslantedlens.com where you can get the download today.

Hi, this is Jay P. Morgan.

Today on "The Slanted Lens," I've got Nadia here with me.

She is beautiful and she's gonna help us to illustrate how light can create emotion.

So, why do we create things?

Why do we do video?

Why do we do photography?

What is our purpose in creating imagery?

We, obviously, wanna communicate.

We want people to be able to understand a message through a visual medium.

But in that communication process, we want people to feel emotion.

We want to move them in some way.

In my early work, I really wanted people to feel...I wanted them to laugh when they looked

at my pictures.

That was the emotion I wanted.

I did comedy work.

I wanted people to look at my pictures and wanted them to just laugh and to have a great

experience.

As my work has progressed into more and more video, as I do a documentary, as I do a bio

piece about someone, I want you to feel a connection to them.

I want you to feel something for this person.

I want you to empathize with them.

I want you to feel sad for them.

I want you to feel happy with them.

We want to move people.

We want them to cry.

We want them to laugh.

We want them to go, "Ahh," or "Agrrh."

The worst thing an artist can get is indifference.

When people look at your work and they just don't respond.

They don't feel anything.

I mean, that's the worst response an artist can get.

Remember this, subject matter can contrast light.

A smiling baby in a very hard light is going to make a much different viewing experience

for the viewer than a limp body of a baby after birth who has not made it through that

experience in a dramatic light.

That's gonna have a much different viewing experience to the viewer.

So, the subject-matter can contrast the light that we're using and sometimes you can use

that to your advantage.

But for the most part, you're gonna want the light to support and to strengthen what you

want to communicate.

So, light becomes a critical tool that we can use to create the emotion and to set the

stage for what we want to communicate.

So, let's talk about how light communicates emotion.

In my experience, light has the power to create emotion in four different ways.

First off, let's talk about ratios or contrast.

We've talked about ratios before.

Basically, just the ability to create contrast to make it dramatic and more moody.

I think it's fascinating if you listen to the things people say that use light as a

motivator in conversation.

"He had a dark personality or she lights up a room."

I mean those kinds of things are really talking about light and how light creates an emotional

response.

So, now, if you're going to use light in order to communicate, you wanna tie into the key

element, the things people in society say and relate to.

A light, bright, open scene is not going to communicate dark and moody, sullen, lost,

and confused as much as a dark, high-contrast scene is going to.

Now, any of these rules can and will be broken all the time.

You can take and shoot a really wonderful dark portrait of a very bright, and sunny

and happy situation.

So, I'm not saying any of this is an absolute, but it certainly becomes an obstacle you have

to overcome.

Lighter images are more open, more friendly, more inviting.

We feel a comfortableness with them.

It's the kinda way we see things in life which is interesting because we see things outside

in that bright, open light.

We're used to that kind of look.

When you get inside, and in rooms, and single lights and darkness, we don't feel as comfortable

in the dark.

People are afraid of the dark.

You know, it's a place they're scared to go into.

So, we're shooting all these examples with LEDs.

We've got here the Aputure 120Ds.

And the reason we're doing that is so that you can see the example in the video and we

don't have to shoot strobes and put the images up.

You could do this just as easily with strobes.

I do it all the time.

But this just gives a way to communicate and teach.

So, first off, let's take a look at a strong, split light versus a very open, soft light.

So, strong, split light.

Now if she smiles and looks at the camera.

Just a nice smile there.

Even though she's in that very hard contrast, that hard ratio, she still has a nice smile,

but it's a very hard, deep ratio.

Now, just look kinda sad and distant.

Now if you look a little bit evil.

So, we've now brought our key light in and up into a butterfly position and we've pretty

much lit her entire face, it's a lot more open and a lot more flat.

I mean, it's not necessarily flat, we've got a nice shadow on her nose because nice split

light fly under her chin.

I'm gonna even further kind of open this up by sliding this in and getting that right

in underneath her.

And now we should have just a nice...it's a very, very flat image.

It's not an unflattering image, it's a pretty image on her face, but it gives us a much

different experience, viewing experience emotionally than that split light did.

Now, if she does the very same things here if she smiles towards the camera.

Now, if she acts depressed...or if she acts kinda evil.

Give it a little evil look.

Can you raise an eyebrow?

Nadia: Yes, I can.

Jay: There you go.

Those emotions, those three expressions on her face have a different feeling in this

context than they did in the dark, split light because you're looking at an open light.

She looks very beautiful in this light, and so you have that as kind of the main thing

you're communicating and it becomes very difficult to communicate evil or "I'm mischievous,"

or "I'm feeling depressed or lost."

Number two is quality of light.

How quickly it transitions from highlight to shadow helps you to understand the quality.

If there's a short transition from highlight to shadow, then it's a very hard, harsh quality

of light.

But if there's a soft transition from highlight to shadow, then it's a much softer light and

that communicates a softer tone, a softer experience.

Harder light, harder experience.

Now you might say, "How's that different from ratios?"

You can have a one to four ratio in a hard light.

You can also have a one to four ratio in a soft light.

So, let's take a look at that, how a one to four ratio in hard light versus one to four

ratio in soft light.

So, I put this in the one to four ratio.

She looks into that light.

That's a very hard contrast on her face, a very hard light.

So this is what I call a back Rembrandt.

She's in a Rembrandt.

If you turn your head towards the light, you'll see the little triangle that comes under her

face, but most of that Rembrandt is hidden from us because it's away from the camera.

But anyway, now I'm gonna put this into a back Rembrandt with a softer transition of

light.

So, you can see when you have a hard light that has a quick transition, it's almost an

immediate transition from highlight to shadow.

That in that you create a...something that is much more dark and kind of moody.

Whereas when we had the softer light, we still have a one to four ratio.

I'm still getting...I'm still getting an F4.

I'm still getting a four stop ratio on this.

Now we're getting a little bit of pollution from this softbox onto the background, which

is causing her to separate more, but if we got rid of that completely, we would see that

dark, deep fall off light on the back of her hair.

But the light transitions around her face, we don't see that harsh triangle on her face.

We see an openness in her cheeks, so you get this really soft transition to the darker

spot at the back of her hair.

So, we're going to the same value at the back of her hair, but it's a much softer transition

around and in that, it's a much more beautiful light.

So, even though they're both a very strong light and a high ratio, we're still getting

a much different look from hard, harsh and direct to soft, more inviting, and more open.

Next is the color of light.

The color of light communicates emotion, absolutely.

Just like we talked about when we say things about light, like having a dark personality,

people use color in reference to people all the time.

"She had a warm personality.

He was cold and distant.

She's all red.

He was blue today."

So even Taylor Swift has a song about this called "Red."

All about color and emotions.

Who is Taylor Swift anyway?

Anyway, let's go on.

So, let's use that color to our advantage when we light to be able to communicate the

emotion that we want people to feel in the image that we're shooting.

I remember being on set one day when we were the paratroopers shot.

We had the paratroopers in the foreground.

We got smoke going in the background and then we just introduced a little bit of blue in

the background.

And when Lars looked at on the screen, he goes, "That looks terrifying."

Like, you're sitting on this airplane, you're about to jump out into who knows what.

Our lights in the house are warm.

We like that warmth because it gives us a sense of coziness.

It gives us a sense of comfort, of feeling accepted and taken care of.

So, let's take a look at warmth on someone's face and cold on someone's face and just see

how that communicates and what that says to the viewer.

So, we're gonna do this shot with two different gels.

We're gonna do a CTO...a full CTO, and a full CTB.

We'll leave the color balance on daylight, so we're not trying to color correct this

here.

So, let's do a couple of shots of each of those.

We'll just see how this feels.

We'll take a look at a couple different expressions on her face and see how they communicate emotion

and just see how we can fight against the color and what we're seeing in the shot.

Number four is direction of light.

We're used to light that comes from above.

The sun comes from above.

Lights in the house come from above.

Everywhere we go, light comes from above.

And that looks comfortable and natural to us.

When you get a light that comes below that, it becomes very unnatural, it becomes very

unsettling.

So, when I put the light below Nadia, automatically she went into this "hahaha" kind of mode because

that's just what we expect.

It's just kinda that horror light from underneath.

So, let's take a quick look at light high and low as we wrap up on the emotion of light.

So, when we get the light completely overhead, that starts to create ratios and feels a little

unsettling as well because it starts to fall into the shadows on the face.

It can look very interesting and have a very evil kind of look from above as well as you

can from below.

So, push the scene behind her, Christian.

Just rotate the box around.

Maybe rotate it here.

Yeah, like that.

There you go.

Right about in there.

Just see how we have these deep shadows on her face.

We're not lighting her face.

It's not open very much anymore.

So it starts to veil her a little bit.

It's gonna feel very evil.

It's gonna feel very distant.

So, if you see, if we take this light and we go from high and we go to really low, really

low.

There we go.

We get this.

Everyone knows this is kinda horror lighting because of the old Bela Lugosi movies.

This is they way they would light him with this under light.

You know with the big shadows falling up on the back and it's just not a way we're used

to seeing light and so, it gives us this kind of creepy feeling.

So, let's take a few shots of Nadia like that.

It's gonna be hard to make her feel very inviting in that light.

Okay.

Here we go.

Looking right here.

Nice smile.

So, there you have it.

We're looking at how light helps to create emotion.

We're really looking at the ratios, quality, color, and direction.

Those four things really come together to create an emotional experience.

We've looked at her in different kind of from sad, to depressed, to happy in each one of

those.

So, the idea is to come up with a message that is consistent with your viewer.

If you want this to be a strong, happy statement, then you'll choose color, direction, ratios,

and the things that will...and quality that will communicate that message.

So, you're not trying to fight against the message, you're trying to communicate by making

decisions that are not consistent.

Now there are times, like I say, with all of these things where you'll break these rules

and you'll use colors to help to emphasize something even though it's inconsistent with

the message and the direction and the feeling and the emotion the person is giving you.

And that's okay.

All these rules are meant to be broken, but at least know what they are so you're making

strong decisions and as you go forward, you can have a consistent message in that experience.

You control the message.

The reality is, when you take all of these different principles and mix them up, you

have thousands of options which gives you the ability to create things that no one else

has ever seen.

Now, I'm sure when it comes to emotion and the way we control emotion with light, there's

things I've forgotten.

But this is the way I see light and this is how I work.

So keep those cameras rolling.

Keep on clicking.

You can't just push me around because I'm Canadian! | Canada 150 | 22 Minutes - Duration: 1:23.

Hey Jerry!

I just had an amazing idea!

A superhero!

A man in tights, with a cape!

You know, I've been thinking...

What if there was a guy, a guy with-- with long-johns on?

Yes. Yes, a real super guy.

I just said that, Jerry.

And, he'd be kind of a strongman.

And bullets would just bounce right off his chest.

Oh!

You know what...

Oh oh yes.

What if he was so strong... that bullets would just bounce right off his chest?

I just said that, Jerry! Come on!

You can't just push me around because I'm a Canadian.

I demand to be acknowledged.

I know you can see me.

What if he disguised himself as a complete four-eyed nerd?

Yes. Yes.

Someone so cowardly that he was completely invisible to everyone around him.

You know, that's not half bad.

And so Superman was born.

Half gentle intellectual,

Half overly-violent strongman.

Half Canadian,

Half American.

President Trump STUNNED The World With What He Just Released About Obama And North Korea - Duration: 1:40.

President Trump STUNNED The World With What He Just Released About Obama And North Korea

By Paris Swade

Trump finally said it. He frickin said it. Otto Warmbier died at the hospital in

Cincinnati, Ohio at 2:20 pm on a Monday. The 22-year-old was arrested yesterday after he

was released from North Korea. Watch what Trump says below about Obama in this.

Trump said that Obama is the reason that Warmbier died. He seems to be right. Here is our Presidents

full statement:

Its a disgrace what happened to Otto. Its a total disgrace what happened to Otto.

It should never, ever be allowed to happen, Trump told reporters during an Oval Office

photo op. He should have been brought home that same day. The results would have been

a lot different.

But he should have been brought home a long time ago, the president added in an

obvious punch at Obama.

Warmbiers father was told by Obamas administration to keep a low profile.

Obama killed this mans son!! He has every right to be angry.

Share this on your wall and help Trump show just how terrible President Obama was.

This guy was a failure in every sense of the word. Do you think Trump is doing a better

job than him?
