Black Desert Expands to More Regions & .Hack/GU Gets Remastered [The Fix #6] - Duration: 10:03.
What's good.. it's Fevir.
So let's go over some of the stuff from this last week... which includes hearing about
dot hack for the first time in about a decade.. an official Ragnarok Online Re-Release creeps
ever closer..
Black Desert always has something going on.. and we'll look at some releases and betas..
and more.. coming up.
Ok.. so dot hack may not be something you're aware exists.. which largely is an age thing-
the best thing I can say about it.. as to why this may be relevant or why I may even
be interested in this at all.. is the same way people can't shut up about Sword Art Online,
dot hack.. was my.. or our version of SAO growing up.
It was an anime and game series.. about players.. in an mmorpg game.. and at the time.. was
actually pretty damn good.
The news surrounding dot hack.. as revealed by Bandai Namco is that we're going to be
seeing an HD remaster of the .hack GU series, which funny enough.. is set in 2017.. with
new elements to update and make the game feel new.
And while remakes and remasters have largely left me unimpressed..
I seriously cannot wait for this.
To put this into scope.. depending on how long you've followed me- you may remember
years ago I had my apartment burn down and lost my entire game collection.. and some
of the only pieces I've even thought to replace.. was my old PS2 slim.. and actively hunt down
non reproductions of the.. many games in the dot hack series.. so yeah, this remake piqued
my interest.
I'll link below the Red Bard youtube channel which seems to be following all the news about
the game as it comes out.
Next.. we have the official, from Gravity themselves, Ragnarok Online..
Re:Start server.
Now.. private servers and Ragnarok go hand in hand.. and there are many different iterations
to the base game build.. the timelines.. the mechanics.. pre post renewal.
Specifics you won't quite get unless you've played.
Now I've spoken alot about RO being a special part to my gaming habits growing up.. and
this is an official.. progression server.. with some of the more modern..
I don't want to call it conveniences... but some of the non-gameplay.. esque changes..
baked into the game from the get go.
It's going to be set up- so every month there is an update pushed out.. which will gradually
unlock more and more of the world and the content.. until 3rd job happens and everybody
leaves.
I don't like playing on private servers of games.. so I never really spent time on private
servers.. so if I was to want to revisit the past.. for let's be real.. a month.. this
is how I would do it.
The only thing we know about the release is that it's coming "soon".. but over at MMORPG.com
there are some headstart codes being given out.. and so that I don't just plug MMORPG.com...
mmosite.com is having it's 12th anniverary with giveaways and a bunch of keys at the
ready for games that I wouldn't play.. and some spin the wheel thing.. and mmos.com still
has my 2 favorite voices in mmos in the altay brothers and.. its not saying much because
of how bad some of the other sites are.. but mmos.com is definitely one of the easier to
navigate and use mmo based websites.
Black Desert.
Now there is something to talk about with Black Desert pretty much every week.
New events, new annoucements.. new teasers.. speculating on when and what Korean content
is coming- just this week the awakening weapon of the striker class was pushed into NA- but
I don't want to dwell there.. instead I want to draw attention to a couple of things..
mainly an increasing of it's market reach.. at E3 Black Desert Announced it was going
to be released for the Xbox One X in Q1 of 2018.. later this year- we know Red Fox games
is releasing a South American set of servers.. and earlier this week..
Black Desert Online China was announced.. and.. there are even rumblings that Asiasoft
is working to publish a South East Asian server.. and this is following the steam release..
which is not only seeing impressive numbers.. but consistent numbers.. and is going on sale
again soon...and then.. talking about exposing the game to new markets..
I've been seeing Reckful and Summit and other large sometimes non-mmorpg gamers.. streaming
the game for what looks like leisure..
I don't know if it's sponsored or not.. but it can't hurt.
Black Desert putting in that work.. getting hands in every pot.
I've always been incredibly positive about the game.. and this is all good news..
I think it's going to absolutely smash the console market when it comes to it.
Love it or hate it.. and there are very strong feelings on both sides there.. it's not going
away anytime soon.
So..
I've been playing Stormblood so I haven't gotten a huge chance to check out some of
the new releases.. but notable ones include MXM, Master x Master- which is a very strange
hyrbid moba/brawler.. thing.
That surprising has really fun co-op.. unfortunately it doesn't seem to be getting a lot of word
of mouth... and the game utilizes a god awful mobile based interface, daily login rewards,
crafting.. gacha style interface.
Which I don't hate.. as I enjoy mobile games and am used to it.
I'm sorry..
I do.
But interface is incredibly important and it is clumsy as fuck.. but the game itself
is pretty fun.. at least for the 2 hours I've put into it so far.. it reminds me of like
Smash TV.. if it kept getting developed for with MOBA heroes- and with game mods ranging
from co-op PvE.. to Arena.. to literal 3 lane MOBA... and Secret World Legends.. which to
be short.
I spent less than 5 hours in the original..
I probably won't touch legends.. just have no interest.. but if you are interested in
the changes or what's new..
The Hive Leader.. the best kept secret on the internet has been a long time fan.. and
has talked about the new Secret World Legends..
I'll link off in the description as well.. subscribe to him if you haven't.. and he even
has an overview of MxM if my probably horribly incorrect 2 hour summary didn't suffice.
Interesting to all gamers is the Steam Summer Sale.. which is massive and too large for
me to make sense of.
I'll be waiting for a total biscuit video on that myself..
I do know that almost every single Final Fantasy game is flat out 50% off and Shadows of Mordor
is like less than $5 and is worth every penny.
And mobile-wise.. oh man..
I don't know if I've ever conveyed to you about my love of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius..
but they just added like the best patch ever.. the game itself just keeps getting better
and better.. and better.. and I really should just get around to talking about it specifically
on the channel.. but it's at a perfect entry point right now.. or if you are looking for
new hotness- Fate/Grand Order gets released on the 25th.. which fuck me I'm going to end
up playing.. and terra battle 2 has been teased for it's summer release.. and oh man.
I'm getting to a point where whether I'm being manipulated by these gacha style games or
not..
I'm just not going to have enough free time in the day to play real games.. and instead
play these shitty slot machines for dopamean payouts.
Overall..
Not a ton of news as it's right after E3- but I want to pose a question.. as I see Cities
Skyline now coming to PS4.. and Skyforge and Marvel Heroes.. what do you think about console
releases of PC games and what are your feelings on this trend of remake and remaster everything...
like Shadows of the Colossus, no hate, is getting a re, re master.

Poison Gas.
Not to be confused with your baby nephew and his highly toxic diaper, a variety of poisonous
gases were used during World War I, notably Chlorine, Phosgene, and Mustard (which is
also a blistering agent that horribly burns the skin and mucous membranes).
Scientists have created a cornucopia of more modern poison gases, such as VX, Nerve Gas
(GA, GB, GD), Sarin and others.
Most of these disperse with time, but Mustard notably lingers for many years, creating an
environmental nightmare.
Some of these jewels of science gone mad also blind the victim.
Use of poison gas goes all the way back to 1000 BC when toxic substances such as Arsenic
or irritating herbs such as Mustard were burned to produce noxious clouds.
Although first banned in 1899 and 1907 at the Hague, the use of poisoned weapons and
poison reached an all-time high during World War I when the French became the first of
the combatants to use poison gas.
The 1925 Geneva Convention produced a protocol which nations signed promising to never use
poison or poison gas.
(The US Senate did not ratify this treaty until 1975!)
Many countries used various forms of poison and poison gas between the World Wars, but
only Japan used these chemicals in any meaningful way during World War II, but only against
the Chinese.
Since World War II, rogue states such as Iraq have used poison gas and terrorists have employed
chemical weapons.
Despite enormous stockpiles of toxic chemicals, the Soviet Bloc and Western Allies never did
resort to using these weapons during the Cold War.
Non-lethal chemical agents such as tear gas, vomiting agents, and malodorants may be used
as long as they do not cause any permanent damage.

Biological Toxins.
These are naturally produced toxins that can be deadly, and are treated like chemical weapons,
both in use and in being legally banned.
Examples include, Ricin, Saxitoxin, and Botulinum toxin.

Biological Diseases.
From ancient times warfare had included throwing dead bodies infected with smallpox, plague
or other diseases over the wall of fortifications to attack the defenders.
Europeans intentionally gave blankets infected with smallpox to Native Americans, effectively
wiping out enormous numbers of the Native Americans.
Weaponized Anthrax is a favorite of the 20th and 21st Century mad military scientists.
Disease could also be used to decimate an enemy's crops or livestock.
Apocalyptic movies and television shows, novels, and the like often depict a weaponized virus
or germ ("Captain Tripps," the "T Virus" etc.) that becomes out of control and either
kills everyone, almost everyone, or creates zombies.
Scientists claim such evil efforts at creating a super disease can indeed cause millions
or even billions of deaths.

Poison and Poisoned weapons.
Another supposedly banned practice is using some toxic coating on weapons to make them
more lethal, such as coating bullets in cyanide or some such poison.
The past practice of poisoning water supplies with either chemicals, diseases, or toxins
is also frowned upon today.
Booby traps containing sharp bamboo staves (Pungi sticks) supposedly dipped in Water
Buffalo urine or feces were used by the Viet Cong against Americans in Viet Nam.

Nukes in Space.
A treaty known best as The Outer Space Treaty (the formal name is ridiculously long) bans
the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction from outer space, and bans the militarization of
the Moon.
This treaty, circa 1967, was meant mainly to keep Nukes from being stationed in orbit
above the Earth.
An oversight in drafting the treaty failed to include stationing conventional weapons
in space, which includes some not so conventional stuff, just not Nukes or chemicals and biologicals.
What about lasers or other death-ray type devices that can shoot down an enemy's nuclear
missiles?
This is up for debate.
5.
Napalm and Fire Weapons against Civilians.
After the US and UK incinerated German and Japanese cities during World War II, including
their populations, it took until 1980 that a treaty banning incendiary weapons such as
Napalm as used against civilian targets.
The United States refused to agree to this International Law until 2009, and even then,
with the reservation that we could use these fire weapons on civilians if such use would
save more civilian lives than such use cost!
(Try to figure that equation!)

Neutron Bomb.
A nuclear bomb with a small yield blast but with enhanced radiation (ERW) in order to
produce a brief but intense dose of radiation.
This enhanced amount of radiation is meant to kill mass quantities of people (soldiers?)
while minimizing damage to buildings and infrastructure.
Sound fiendish to you?
It sounded fiendish to the Allies of the US and these Allies refused to have such weapons
based in their countries during the 1980's, and the ERW's that were produced were quietly
retired.
Another use of the ERW's was to use in warheads of anti-ballistic missile, missiles, with
the hope that the large release of radiation would deactivate or cause partial fission
of incoming nuclear warheads.
International opinion and not an actual treaty has banned these weapons.
("Dirty bombs" are highly radioactive material blown up and scattered over a large
area, without a nuclear explosion and are kind of related to ERW's.
The idea of a "dirty bomb" fascinates terrorists that cannot build an actual nuclear
weapon.)
3.
Dum-Dum bullets.
The invention and use of smokeless gunpowder resulted in bullets traveling so fast down
the rifle bore that the lead would be wiped off by the rifling grooves and the bore would
foul and the bullets would not go straight.
The solution was to encase the lead bullet in a "jacket" of copper gilding metal.
The result of such a "full metal jacket" bullet was that the bullet would not flatten
on impact with a person, and would often zip right through a body leaving minimal damage
to flesh and bone.
The British Army came up with a solution at the Dum Dum Arsenal in India, which was to
remove the nose area of jacket (a soft point) from the bullet, exposing a soft lead nose
that would expand in a person, possibly even fragmenting, leaving a massive, horrible wound.
A similar technique quickly followed, that of leaving a hollow cavity in the nose of
the bullet (a hollow point) which gave a similar performance to the soft point.
Germany protested this development in 1898, and in the Hague Convention of 1899 expanding
bullets were outlawed for military use.
Note: Exploding bullets were banned in 1868.

Blinding weapons.
The 1980 Protocol on Blinding Laser Weapons outlawed the use of lasers or other such devices
to cause permanent blindness to the enemy soldiers.
Unfortunately, the use of laser range finders and laser guided weapons can still "incidentally"
cause blindness without violating the law.

Non-detectable Fragments.
Another fiendish weapon is the use of non-metallic mines, bullets, or bomb casings (usually mines
to avoid mine detection).
These weapons may use various plastics or glass that does not show up on X-rays or other
medical detection devices and may cause undue suffering and misery to the victim by preventing
effective medical treatment.
Bonus Hellish Weapon:
Unmarked, scatterable anti-personnel mines would include those cluster bomb delivered
instant minefields that can easily be blundered into by civilians.
In fact, mines from past wars, even many decades ago blow up and maim thousands of civilians
every year, as millions and millions of mines have been either hidden by shallow burying
or scattered about the countryside in countless wars.
Anti-tank mines and command detonated mines are still allowed, but for anti-personnel
mines to be used they must be able to be deactivated remotely when not needed and the mine field
must be clearly marked.
Kids are especially vulnerable to anti-personnel mines as they often play with the little bombs
when the mines are found.

Minerals are literally everywhere, and scientists have found that we're accidentally creating
new ones.
But wait, do you even know what a mineral is?
They are defined as solid substances with a definite chemical formula, a crystalline
structure, and are naturally occurring

You might have seen some of these beauties before: amethyst, quartz, tourmaline, azurite
are all minerals … and they're so mesmerizing.
And you can also find minerals in your grocery store, they can be nutrients too! like sodium,
magnesium, and calcium.
Minerals aren't just pretty to look at; they're essential for us humans to function
properly.
But how do minerals form?
Well, they develop when atoms of one or more element join together and a crystalline structure
forms.
And, most importantly, minerals are forged in nature, born in the crucible of the Earth's
interior!
So, when magma cools or liquids evaporate, a mineral is born.
There are around 4,000 different types of natural minerals!
But … according to a study published in American Mineralogist, 208 of them, aren't
exactly born of natural causes.
They're here on earth ... thanks to us humans.
THESE … ARE MAN-MADE MINERALS.
Well, to clarify a bit, these minerals did form "naturally" … but in man-made places,
like mines, smelters, and other industrial contamination sites.
When we dig into the earth, we're opening up areas that wouldn't naturally be there,
allowing water and air to interact with the soil.
Industrial activities cause chemical reactions ... we're inadvertently creating something
new when this happens.
Mineralogists are so pumped about this.
For instance, this mineral, andersonite, is found in the tunnels of abandoned uranium
mines in the Southwest.
The sandstone that lines the tunnel walls interacts with mine water, creating this crust
of yellow and green crystals.
Extra cool points: andersonite glows under a blacklight.
And this pretty one Simonkolleite is found in old copper mines.
This other newly classified mineral is Abhurite.
It was found on the not-so-happy wreck of the SS Cheerful, a steamship that sank almost
150 years ago.
When the seawater interacts with ship's cargo of tin metal, Abhurite popped up.
Minerologists are calling the appearance of these man-made minerals a "punctuation event",
which are notable periods of time in earth's geological record."
Researchers are pegging this one at the start of the industrial revolution to present day.
The first punctuation was called the Great Oxidation event and it happened over 2 billion
years ago.
Back then, there was a massive increase in the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere, spurring
the creation of 2/3s of the minerals we see today.
The fact that it took only 300 years for these man-made minerals to appear is a big deal.
We've done more to diversify minerals on the planet in such a short period of time than
the earth has done on its own in 2 billion years.
And that's lead some to suggest that we're living in the anthropocene, or "the age
of humans."
Some environmentalists think our impact on the planet is so profound that a new geological
epoch needs to be declared.
But this has been hotly debated in the science community.
It's really up to the international geologic community to decide; they're looking for
something called the golden spike, or a marker in the environment that determines the start
of this new epoch.
A working group has been basically working on this since 2009, with no answer yet.
So, these newly found minerals could be a contender.
Whether or not these man-made rocks herald the beginning of the age of man, it's hard
to deny that we're leaving a mark on this planet.

otherworldly features and acting talent make it basically impossible for us to take our

Before Maggie Gyllenhaal's looks were debated, there was always the hot-button issue of Sarah
Jessica Parker.
Parker reached saturation point as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, and while some
might not find her conventionally attractive, it's basically undeniable that SJP has more

Okay, we're the first to admit that we might have some serious, Woody-Allen level, neurotic
type Daddy issues when it comes to Larry David, the creator of Seinfeld.
Seinfeld will certainly go down as one of the best television shows of all time—and
when you think of the amount of writing that went into creating it every week for the seven
seasons he was a part of it, it's nothing short of stupidly impressive.
Also, he's worth an estimated 900 million smackers.
Plus, Jennifer Lawrence loves him, too.
"I have so many sexual, and boyfriend/marriage feelings for Larry David, I feel like I'm

If we can agree on anything is it that Barack Obama helped run our country into the ground.
President Trump is working on repairing the injuries left by the progressive former President,
but now, people are talking about creating an OBAMA BOULEVARD!
Dennis Michael Lynch reports that a city councilman in Los Angeles, California, wants to rename
one of the major streets after the former President.
The councilman, Herb Wesson, wants to turn 3.4 miles of Rodeo Road into Obama Boulevard
to honor his presidency.
Frankly, we don't get it.
They wouldn't name a road after a domestic terrorist, would they?
Wesson quotes his reasons for the name change — yes, they are all silly.
His first reason is that there are already streets named after three other presidents;
George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson, so Obama should be next.
We don't think so.
The councilman went on to say the area is where Obama made his first stop the first
time he ran for president.
According to Wesson, it was a "historic" event, and the crowds went wild when Obama
showed up to speak.
He must have been napping for the past eight years.
Obama has put our country in a disgraceful position.
He doesn't deserve ANY credit for "running" this country.
The only running he did was running our country into the ground…head first.
According to the Los Angeles Daily News, to change the name of the street, there would
have to be approval from both the L.A. City Council and the mayor of the city.
We are hoping this approval does not go through.
Obama does not deserve this kind of honor.
First of all, he managed to increase our national debt by 86% in the eight years he was in office.
How can you DOUBLE the national debt in less than ten years and think youself deserving
of a road with your name on it?
Let's not forget that Obama worked with people like Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch,
Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, and others to try and nefariously prevent President Trump
from winning the election.
We are not even mentioning the illegal wiretapping and lying about it that he pulled off on both
Trump, and those close to him.
Obama was involved in Operation Fast and Furious also, which is quite disturbing.
The former President gave the Mexican drug cartels guns that were unmarked, and we want
to give him his own street?
Give me a break!
It is a sick joke that the Right isn't in on.
Worst of all, Obama brought the racial tensions in our country to an all time high.
He would openly come out and cite "racism" as the cause even when the crimes committed
had NOTHING to do with race.
He encouraged the domestic terrorist organization Black Lives Matters, when they wanted to burn
down all the rich white neighborhoods, according to a Chicago movement leader.
Obama has been NOTHING but bad for every single American in this country.
We cannot believe that the elected officials in Los Angeles are even considering the possibility
of honring Obama with something as immortal as his own street.

there's not one far from here yoohoo national parks bringing nature to
your soul these are really under a tree I should be able to walk there yeah but
I get I have to go outside sure what was that I'm not going outside no way Jose a
cougar yeah those cougar definitely don't go out probably probably two not

jump-scare but it's not it's not just jump scares for the sake of jump scares

able to get up oh yeah by what's on around lights on

oh no why would you do that well I guess she her anxieties so bad that she wanted
to die so her son would have a bed I don't know what her thought process was
behind that but I guess that's the whole point I don't know that was pretty good
though Ella's pretty cool I really liked the
mechanics and I liked how they weren't just jump scares for the sake of being
jump scares they were jump scares so because you have to be so precise with
how you move the mouse and how you unlock this then open that turn that off
and turn that on and all that stuff that if you get jumpscared or a sound
startles you it's going to mess you up and we're gonna take you longer and I
don't know if there's like a death I don't know if it's to never die or if
there's you can die in this game but that's pretty cool if you don't if you
can't focus or something for somebody who actually can it scared easily
by those kind of stuff that would be really a little bit more difficult you
know so anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this was anxiety last night with the
panic attack simulator where you're stuck in the car and you have to escape
and just see and stuff and it's scary and all that good stuff so anyway if you
guys did enjoy make sure you slap that like button underneath the video and
