((SPANISH)) OK, I want both

((SPANISH)) Which is better?

((SPANISH)) OK, I want it

((SPANISH)) You want one?

hhahahhaa

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) Also..one of these

((SPANISH)) One of these?

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) That's all

OK

((SPANISH)) Can I use Credit Card here as well?

((SPANISH)) You speak good in Spanish

Huh?

((SPANISH)) You speak good in Spanish

((SPANISH)) haha, really?

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) Thanks a lot. I've been studying more Spanish lately because this city is very diverse

((SPANISH)) Therefore I can practice....

((SPANISH)) Are you married with a Spanish woman?

((SPANISH)) No, actually my wife is from Taiwan

Oh

((SPANISH)) But I've put myself up to learn Spanish

((SPANISH)) It's very good

((SPANISH)) Very good? hahahhaa

Spanish,Chinese, Japanese..etc

((SPANISH)) Where are you from?

Guatemala

((SPANISH)) Oh....of course!

((SPANISH)) In fact, a long time ago I didn't really like learning Spanish, French..these languages..

((SPANISH)) Are there any other stores like this one closeby?

((SPANISH)) Other Bakeries?

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) No

((SPANISH)) I want to practice a little bit...hahaha

((SPANISH)) Therefore I would like to pose a few questions in order to....

((SPANISH)) for understanding?

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) You speak Spanish and any other languages?

((SPANISH)) No

((SPANISH)) Just Spanish? English

((SPANISH)) A little

((SPANISH)) A little?

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) In my point of view, it's very enriching to study other languages, right?

((SPANISH)) Other languages, yes

((SPANISH)) When you do it, you can understand more about other cultures

((SPANISH)) But.....well for me it's difficult to learn. More English..because ** I didn't catch the whole thing so feel free to help out with accurate translation**

((SPANISH)) I work a lot and there's not much time to learn?

((SPANISH)) It's very important

((SPANISH)) It's very important, yes

((SPANISH)) Since you're working here, maybe you can practice more

((SPANISH)) Yes, that's right. There's a lot of American people that come here

((SPANISH)) Africans as well?

((SPANISH)) Yes

((SPANISH)) They're all African in this area

((SPANISH)) Yes, I know

((SPANISH)) Are you African?

((SPANISH)) No, I'm American

((SPANISH)) Yea?

((SPANISH)) Yea, I was born here, but I like to learn a lot of things about other languages and cultures

((SPANISH)) Yes, ''West Africans'' I think they're from West Africa

TNT?

((KOREAN))Where's that?

((KOREAN)) What is that?

((KOREAN)) Hold on for a second

((KOREAN)) Where is TNT?

TNT? People working there, they speak Korean

hahahahahaha

he speaks Korean

((KOREAN)) Really?

(((KOREAN)) I want to practice Korean now

((KOREAN)) Oh, you want to practice Korean..

((KOREAN)) Yes, because lately I've been learning Korean

((KOREAN)) But...

((KOREAN)) Where?

((KOREAN)) Where?

((KOREAN)) At home. Self-study

((KOREAN)) I'm learning through self study, but I think Korean is tough to learn

((KOREAN)) Difficult, eh

debit or credit?

credit

yea, me too

((KOREAN)) Why?

((KOREAN)) It's very difficult

((KOREAN)) Why?

((KOREAN)) But you're Korean, so the Korean language is easy to learn

Just like some Americans. Not all Americans speak so good English

Oh

it's the same, yea

((KOREAN)) That's very right

hahahahah

((KOREAN)) By the way, which part of Korea are you from?

Seoul, Incheon

((KOREAN)) Oh, I know

((KOREAN)) Actually, my friend is..

((KOREAN)) Your girlfriend..

((KOREAN)) No, not girlfriend..lol

((KOREAN)) You don't have one?

((KOREAN)) Wife

((KOREAN)) Wife?

((KOREAN)) Oh, you have a wife

((KOREAN)) But, my wife isn't Korean

((KOREAN)) She isn't?

((KOREAN)) Taiwan

((KOREAN)) Oh, Taiwan

((KOREAN)) But my Korean friend is from Incheon

Ocean side people?

((KOREAN)) I want to go also

((KOREAN)) You good today?

Yea

((KOREAN)) Are you busy?

((KOREAN)) Yes, today I'm busy

((KOREAN)) I like studying Korean and other languages so I want to practice a little

yea, very good

((KOREAN)) Where did you learn?

((KOREAN)) At home

Only you study?

((KOREAN)) Self study

((KOREAN)) But Korean is difficult

((KOREAN)) I'm an American so the grammar isn't the same

yea

((KOREAN)) Therefore Korean isn't easy

((KOREAN)) That's right

((KOREAN)) For me....English is hard

((KOREAN)) What's your name?

((KOREAN)) My name? John

((KOREAN)) Your Korean name?

Yea

((KOREAN)) How do you write it? Write it down, please

((KOREAN)) In Korean?

((KOREAN)) Yes, write it in Korean

((KOREAN)) What's your name?

Kim. First name Kim, last name Kim

Kim Kim

he's writing his name

((KOREAN)) My name...

((KOREAN)) But my nickname..

Mouse?

((KOREAN)) Nickname

you're mouse?

your name is Moses?

yea

in Chinese it's like this...

((KOREAN)) Can you read this?

this is like ''old''

yea

((KOREAN)) In Chinese it's 'mouse'

that's the meaning in Chinese

((KOREAN)) Nice to meet you

((KOREAN)) My wife is waiting on me

((KOREAN)) Take care

((KOREAN)) Goodnight

Not yet

not yet?

((KOREAN)) Have a good day

((KOREAN)) Goodbye

((KOREAN)) OK

((KOREAN)) Hello

((KOREAN)) Hello

((KOREAN)) Are you well today?

((KOREAN)) Yes, I'm good

((KOREAN)) Are you busy?

((KOREAN)) I'm not busy

You know Korean?

((KOREAN)) I've been learning Korean lately

((KOREAN)) You're learning Korean at OSU?

((KOREAN)) No, just learning at home.

((KOREAN)) Really?

((KOREAN)) Yes

wow

((KOREAN)) Because I like learning Korean and other languages

((KOREAN)) Because it's interesting

((KOREAN)) But it's tough

((KOREAN)) It's tough?

((KOREAN)) Especially if you learn alone, it's tough

((KOREAN)) But I will continue on. Because it would be awesome to speak Korean like a Korean so I will continue working hard lol

hahahahah

**He's talking about the different levels of politeness in Korean**

((KOREAN)) Which part of Korea do you come from?

((KOREAN)) In the South?

((KOREAN)) Yes, South

((KOREAN)) Is he Korean too?

((KOREAN/ENGLISH)) Dad is Laos and mom is American

((KOREAN)) Does he speak Korean?

((KOREAN)) No

((KOREAN)) His dad is Laotian and mom is American

((KOREAN)) I see

((KOREAN)) Interesting

((KOREAN)) Actually, it's been a long time since I've practiced Korean so I wanted to practice some

((KOREAN)) Your Korean is good

My kids were born here. They speak half and half.

((KOREAN)) Really?

((KOREAN)) Half Korean and Half English

you know more than my kids

wow

((KOREAN)) You're just being too nice

((KOREAN)) What's your name?

((KOREAN)) Please write it in Korean

((KOREAN)) My name...

((KOREAN)) But my nickname..

((KOREAN)) Mouse! lol

((KOREAN)) Nice to meet you

((KOREAN)) Nice to meet you

((KOREAN)) Thanks

((KOREAN)) Thanks

((KOREAN)) Goodbye

((KOREAN)) Goodbye

I need your signature if you would. I'd greatly appreciate it

there you go

thanks

it shouldn't be too long

do you know where there owners are from here?

huh?

do you know where the owners are from here?

China

do you know which part of China they're from?

huh?

do you know which part of China they're from?

no. Oh, he knows

huh?

Fuchao

oh, OK

do they have any Chinese workers working besides the cooks?

the owner's, the owner's dad and they have one cook

oh

they're all Chinese

I think they have another delivery driver who works here that I haven't met yet that works on my days off

oh, OK

I was asking because I was hoping to talk to one of them

huh?

I was hoping to talk to one of them, that's why I asked you

he said that he was hoping to talk to one of them

for....about a delivery, about a job?

no, no just practicing language. Practicing Chinese.

Oh, they're....

go grab a Chinese person

hahahaha go grab a Chinese person

hahahahahahha

are you learning Mandarin?

she's busy right now

well, who else is back there?

wen is doing the food

wen's cooking?

he should almost be done with his order, so hold on

amy will bring your order out

OK

Amy, he would like to talk with you

((MANDARIN)) Are you Chinese?

excuse me?

((MANDARIN)) Are you Chinese?

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) Because my reason for coming here is to practice Chinese

((MANDARIN)) Practice Chinese?

((MANDARIN)) Right. This is the reason why I've come here

((MANDARIN)) Alright

((MANDARIN)) I just told them that I wanted to practice Chinese

hahahahahahhaha

((MANDARIN)) But I didn't realize you would be busy. Are you busy now?

((MANDARIN)) It's OK

((MANDARIN)) It's OK?

((MANDARIN)) Where in China are you from?

((MANDARIN)) In the Southern area

Guangzhou?

((MANDARIN)) It's like below next to Guangzhou. Fujian

((MANDARIN)) Oh, really? Fujian

((MANDARIN)) Oh, your Chinese is so good

((MANDAIN)) You're being too nice.

((MANDARIN)) You know that Confucious said that, there's three people walking

and one of them must be my teacher.

((MANDARIN)) Where did you learn?

((MANDARIN)) Where did I learn?

((MANDARIN)) Yea, where did you learn Chinese?

((MANDARIN)) At home. I'm self-taught

((MANDARIN)) Self-taught?

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) Have you ever been to China before?

((MANDARIN)) No, I haven't been to China before

((MANDARIN)) You haven't?

((MANDARIN)) No

((MANDARIN)) Then you're awesome

((MANDARIN)) But I hope that I will have the opportunity to go in the future

((MANDARIN)) Now I don't have the time and money. First I will save money then go to see the great wall and visit other places

((MANDARIN)) If you go, you should spend some time to go to Beijing, Nanjing and then Xi'an..

((MANDARIN)) Do you know Xi'an?

((MANDARIN)) Yes I've heard of Xi'an before ((MANDARIN)) Well, if you go you should spend some time going to Beijing, Nanjing and Xi'an.

((MANDARIN)) Because these particular cities are of the 5th dynasty king's home

((MANDARIN)) 'Huangdi' is king, right?

((MANDARIN)) Right,right

((MANDARIN)) It's where their homes were..

((MANDARIN)) Oh, it's where their homes were...

((MANDARIN)) These are place that Americans normally go and visit

((MANDARIN)) So Americans often travel to Xian, right?

((MANDARIN) Yea, many go to Xi'an and Beijing

((MANDARIN)) But Beijing's the capital, so certainly many Americans go there

((MANDARIN)) Right. Beijing is a big city and you'll see that if you go now.

((MANDARIN)) then if you go to Nanjing now you'll see that it's an old city

((MANDARIN)) Oh, old city

hahahahahhaa

((MANDARIN)) Well, since you're Chinese I'll listen to what you're saying. I mean you were born there so...lol

hahaha

((MANDARIN)) I especially would like to go to Beijing and Shanghai.

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) I heard that the Shanghainese are very friendly **YOU HAO** and the food is good...

hahahahahhhahah

((CANTONESE)) Do you speak Cantonese also?

((MANDARIN)) What?

((CANTONESE)) Do you speak Cantonese?

((MANDARIN)) Oh, you speak Cantonese,too?

((CANTONESE)) I also speak Cantonese

((CANTONESE)) Do you speak it?

((MANDARIN)) Where did you learn that?

((CANTONESE)) Do you speak Cantonese?

((MANDARIN)) I don't speak Cantonese

((MANDARIN)) The chef can speak Cantonese though

((CANTONESE)) Really?

((CANTONESE)) But if I speak in Cantonese could you understand me?

((MANDARIN)) Where did you learn?

((CANTONESE)) At home. I learn both Cantonese and Mandarin there

hahahahahahahha

((MANDARIN)) Sorry

((MANDARIN)) You speak better than I do...

((MANDARIN)) I thought that you could speak Cantonese so I wanted to take the opportunity to practice a bit

((MANDARIN)) The cook can speak Cantonese

haha, he can speak Cantonese

he speaks Cantonese?

the chef speaks Cantonese...

I know

if you want you can..

I speak both, Mandarin and Cantonese

you speak both?

how long did you live in China because...

hahahahhahhaha

you can't get fluent like that taking classes at OSU

hahahahhahhahahhaha

you've never been to China?

No, I've never been to China, but I've been doing it for a long time.

I started studying when I was 18 and now I'm 32 so it's been a long time

and you never lived with Chinese people or anything?

OK, let me be fair..

because I studied German and I even hung around a shit load of Germans all the time, but I could never get that fluent

but let me tell you something, but this isn't the reason. My wife is from Taiwan. BUT that's not why..

no, let me tell you why..

you spoke it before you met her?

yea, that's actually how I picked my wife up. I was doing what I'm doing now with her, practicing and then we just hooked up

so I knew how to speak the language pretty well before I met her, but of course..I mean we've been together for 10+ years

so I've had more exposure, I hear the language very often..

but yea, I speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Russian...

my husband's Japanese

really?

yea

((JAPANESE)) Do you speak Japanese?

No

hahahhahhhhahah

no?

no

it's too hard to learn..

no it's not. That's a misconception...

no because that's what people tell you.

They Chinese is the hardest language, Japanese is the hardest language, but..

English is the hardest language

my son took 3 years of it when he was in H.S.

what Japanese?

yea, he aced it, got straight As

well, that's because he's not Japanese

what's that got to do with anything?

hahahhhahahhahahha

there were American kids in there that couldn't even get it

it's difficult for us since we're native English speakers

so it's going to take a bit more effort to learn the language

right

my husband has tried to teach me, but it's just too hard

you gotta have the passion, interest and motivation, otherwise you're not going to learn

I took 4 quarters of German and I was around German speakers every week because I sang in a German choir

I could usually follow their conversations..

((JAPANESE)) Goodbye

oh, you're leaving

((JAPANESE)) Goodbye

((GERMAN)) You speak German?

((GERMAN) I speak a bit of German

((GERMAN)) Actually...

let me see how much German I remember

((GERMAN)) Actually, I'm learning German now because I like learning languages**

you're studying German at a time because you enjoy learning languages?

yea, pretty much

I studied German for 6 months, but haven't practiced it for a long time

so I forgot almost everything. Almost everything...

I was able to have a better conversation before, but I wasn't praticing so...

yea

I tried, but I could never get conversant in German

If you don't practice...

well I was, I was singing in a German choir for an hour and a half every week

and then drank with these native Germans from Austria and stuff

Oh, OK

I got to a point where I could read it pretty well and I could mostly follow their conversations

even if I watched a German movie, I could follow what was going on, but I could never..and I could write in German

but I couldn't have a conversation

oh yea?

yea

((MANDARIN)) What's your name?

((MANDARIN)) You can call me Amy

((MANDARIN)) But that's your English name

((MANDARIN)) Well, my Chinese name..I'm afraid to say my real name because usually people don't say it right so...

((MANDARIN)) Say it for me

you're asking her what her Chinese name is?

yea

((MANDARIN)) Most of the time, people don't pronounce it correctly, they pronounce it like '' ''

hahahahahahhahhaa

((MANDARIN)) It's a bit strange so I just have people call me Amy

she said that she's afraid to tell most people her Chinese name people they don't pronounce it right..just call me Amy

her husband's is easy because it's ''wen''

wen?

but wen isn't his real name, it's " "

oh, OK so it's like the Americanized version?

yea

and the chef, his name is zen?

yea, zen is his last name

it's his last name?

that's what they told me

it's fun. That's actually the reason I came here...seriously, this is what I do

they're looking for another driver if you have some spare time

man, I'm a teacher, I don't even have the time for it lol

I teach languages

where?

have you ever heard of skype?

oh yea..

for example, if you wanted to learn Japanese, we could set up appointments to meet

yea, I know what you mean

I was a network engineer. I worked for worldcom

oh yea?

yea

I started there in 2000 when their stock was at $42 a share and just watched it all drop

all of my co worker's 401 ks were raped

I just like to go to places to practice..

when I first walked in and saw you guys, I was like ''Wait a minute, where're the Chinese people?''

I get that all the time when I make a delivery. I knock on people's doors and they'll open the door like ''Can I help you?''

because there's this big white guy here

I was like, man I gotta practice. That's why I asked. At first I started not to ask because maybe it would've been a bit strange

but I said ''I gotta do it. Sombody's gotta be here'' you know

right

but yea I like to go around to different places to practice. Restaurant.. I try to do less retaurants because sometimes it's a bit pricey buying food

so I like to go to Asian markets, international markets because those are the best places to practice have you been to the ''New Asia'' market down there on Sawmill?

they have a new one?

no, that's the name of it

what's it called?

New Asian Supermarket

Oh, New Asia...yea...

down there by Chucky Cheese

yea, I'm familiar with that one

I go there and buy my rice and soy sauce. Before I started working here

Oh, OK

You have a delivery to make?

yep

OK

what's your name?

Joe

my name's Moses

my Chinese name is 'laoshu' it's mouse.

it's what?

'laoshu' it means mouse

mouse?

yea, that's my nickname. Long story why it's mouse,but...

hahahahaha

right now I'm about to go over to...because actually I live in Easton area

oh yea?

so I'm going over there to go to Walmart to practice more because you know, Walmart has a lot of foreigners

so basically what I do is walk around with my shopping cart

and when I walk down an isle and see a person who look of Asian or Indian decent, I say

''Hey, do you know what time this store closes?''

then after I do that, they tell me where they're from then we just speak the language

I used to work for one of the Germans who I sang in the choir with. Like a 75 year old guy who escaped from

East Germany in the 50s,right?

he and his wife owned like 6 houses down at OSU, so I was sitting with him on his pourch one day

and this kid walks up and asks him if he could borrow a screwdriver.

he was being a bit unfriendly. The kid wasn't talking much, but I could hear a bit of an accent

and I was like ''Are you German?'' He said ''Yea, yea, I'm from Germany''

then my German buddy said ''Oh cool, here's my toolbox, do you want a beer?''

hahaha, he became friendly!

yea

alright, nice to meet you,man

you too

am I in your way?

No

are you Somali?

((SOMALI)) Are you Somali?

yea

((SOMALI)) Really?

huh?

((SOMALI)) Really?

huh?

((SOMALI)) You're Somali?

Yes, he's Somali

oh,oh

((SOMALI)) How are you?

((SOMALI)) I'm good

((SOMALI)) Because I'm learning Somali

((SOMALI)) Therefore, I want to speak Somali with you

OK

((SOMALI)) To practice this language

why?

((SOMALI)) Why?

((SOMALI))Yeah

((SOMALI)) Because.....I'm interested in Somali because it's an interesting language

((SOMALI)) Moreover, so many Somali people live here in Columbus, Ohio, therefore..

((SOMALI)) You like to study it?

((SOMALI)) Yep,that's how it is...

((SOMALI)) Do you have Somali friends?

((SOMALI)) Here..not many

((SOMALI)) You don't have any?

((SOMALI)) But my Somali friend lives in Sweden, therefore I always practice with him

((SOMALI)) You learn Somali here?

((SOMALI)) Here?

((SOMALI)) Yeah

((SOMALI)) No

((SOMALI)) The little Somali you're talking now, where did you learn?

((SOMALI)) Where?

((SOMALI)) I learn at home

((SOMALI)) At home?

((SOMALI)) I'm self-taught

((SOMALI)) Although I'm self-taught, I always practice with my friend

((SOMALI)) Sometimes..

good, but do you have family?

((SOMALI)) Family?

((SOMALI)) No, I don't

You have Somali family members?

((SOMALI)) No

you're family is American?

((SOMALI)) American

((SOMALI)) I like learning Somali

((SOMALI)) You like learning it?

good for you ((SOMALI)) Moreover, I want to go to Somalia because my friend said

that Somali is very beautiful

he's right

((SOMALI)) Is that so?

hahahhahhaa

((SOMALI)) Somalia is good

((SOMALI)) Where's your hometown?

((SOMALI)) Me?

((SOMALI)) Yes

Do you know Somayo?

Somayo?

((SOMALI)) I don't know

((SOMALI)) Where's your friend from?

Mogadishu

((SOMALI)) No, no..Somaliland

Somali has a lot of different language, but they're all similar, like America and British English

((SOMALI)) Yes that's right

((SOMALI)) I think it's good learning a lot of languages

((SOMALI)) Yea, it really is

((SOMALI)) It's good

((SOMALI)) What's your name?

((SOMALI)) And you?

Moses

((SOMALI)) I learned Somali by using textbooks, and going to chatrooms to find natives to practice with

that's good. You keep doing that

((SOMALI)) Everyday

((SOMALI)) Somali is tough so...

it's not hard. It's easy...not too hard

of course ((SOMALI)) You are Somali so it's very easy

Well, your Somali now, you're better than most kids here. They lost it

((SOMALI)) Really?

yea

it's never too late, they can pick it back up

Yea, some kids here that lost the language, if you take them back to Somalia for 2 years, they will have it again

((SOMALI)) You're right

yea

((SOMALI)) You're good. You'll learn more if you keep doing it

((SOMALI)) Although Somali is tough...

I see that you're interested in Somali though..

((SOMALI)) You like it so you'll learn

((SOMALI)) I'll work hard in order to learn it

yea

((SOMALI)) Thank you brother and sister

((SOMALI)) And thank you

((SOMALI)) You're welcome

((SOMALI)) Goodbye

((SOMALI)) Goodbye

Hey, where's your 2 liter pops? like Coka Cola?

Oh

it's the 2 liters though

((SOMALI)) Yeah. I'm serious

((MANDARIN)) You can speak Chinese with me

Are you very good at it?

((MANDARIN)) Do you speak it well?

((MANDARIN)) I'll say that I can speak a lot. Because I've studied for more than 10 years

((MANDARIN)) Where did you learn?

((MANDARIN)) I'm self taught

((MANDARIN)) So cool!

hahahahahaha

((MANDARIN)) Cool

((MANDARIN)) Not really

((MANDARIN)) You don't look Taiwanese to me. I thought maybe you were..

((MANDARIN)) Vietnamese?

((MANDARIN)) Right, Vietnamese

((MANDARIN)) The South

((MANDARIN)) Right, the South

((MANDARIN)) I'm surprised

hahahaha

((MANDARIN)) You're surprised? Did I scare you?

((MANDARIN)) Yea

((MANDARIN)) Where are you from in Taiwan?

Gaoxiong

((MANDARIN)) Oh really?

wow, very good..

very good? hahaha

yea, you're very good ((TAIWANESE)) Very good?

((TAIWANESE)) Taiwanese. Do you speak Taiwanese?

hahahahahahahha

((TAIWANESE)) I can speak the Taiwanese

you even know Taiwanese?

((TAIWANESE)) I can speak Taiwanese because...actually my wife is from Taiwan

((TAIWANESE)) My wife

oooooh

((TAIWANESE)) My wife is from Taiwan

your wife

((TAIWANESE)) Yea

((MANDARIN)) But I must tell you that my Mandarin studies has nothing to do with her

((MANDARIN)) It isn't because of her?

((MANDARIN)) Not because of her, however she did teach me Taiwanese

Oh, but you're very good. That's my girlfriend over there

((MANDARIN)) That's your girlfriend? Is she Taiwanese?

she's from Thailand

Thailand?

((MANDARIN)) Really?

don't tell me you know Thai..

((MANDARIN)) I can speak a little bit

really?

((MANDARIN)) Tell her to come over here hahahaha

wow, you're very amazing. I'm not kidding

((MANDARIN)) It's just I'm interested in many languages..

yea

((MANDARIN)) Chinese...what I was just speaking not too long ago was Somali

((MANDARIN)) Right

((THAI)) Hello

((THAI)) Do you speak Thai?

((THAI)) No, I can't

((THAI)) You can't speak?

((THAI)) No, I can't

((THAI)) You can't??

((THAI)) No

((THAI)) Why not?

I'm just kidding...

why can you speak Thai?

((THAI)) Because I think Thai and other languages are very fun..

wow

he's good

he speaks Chinese,too

((THAI)) He said that you were from Thailand so I wanted to practice Thai with you

((THAI)) Sure, you can. Nice to meet you

((THAI)) Nice to meet you

((MANDARIN)) I worship you

((MANDARIN)) Worship? hahahahahahah

((MANDARIN)) Worship worship

he's very good

'Congbai' is like worship

((MANDARIN)) How long have you been living in America for?

((MANDARIN)) 15 years

((MANDARIN)) Wow, 15 years?

how long have you been here for? hahahaha

((MANDARIN)) I'm American..

((MANDARIN)) I'm 100% American, but my wife's been living here for more than 13 years

((MANDARIN)) 13 years?

((MANDARIN)) Did she come as a student?

((MANDARIN)) My wife?

((MANDARIN)) Yea

((MANDARIN)) Right, she graduated from OSU

how old are you?

((MANDARIN)) Take a guess

((MANDARIN)) More than 30?

((MANDARIN)) Almost..

((MANDARIN)) I'm 32 years old

he's good

((MANDARIN)) How about you?

((MANDARIN)) 30

((MANDARIN)) Oh, you're 30??

OK

((MANDARIN)) I'm older than you, but you know that the ''ginger is still has spice''

yea yea

ahahahahahhahaha

((THAI)) What's your name?

((THAI)) My name is mouse

((THAI)) Mouse?

((THAI)) Mouse

((THAI)) Nickname

((THAI)) My nickname

How long have you learned Thai for?

((THAI)) I've studied Thai for....

omg, I forgot how to say it

lol

5-6 months

that's all?

you've been learning for almost 2 years and still...

((THAI)) He doesn't have the motivation

((THAI)) How do you say it in Thai?

''I've already studied for 5 months''

((THAI)) How do you say that?

((THAI)) ''I've studied only 5 months''

oh,OK

((THAI)) 1,2,3,4,5.....

((MANDARIN)) I can speak Mandarin and Cantonese..

((MANDARIN)) Cantonese?

((MANDARIN))Also Taiwanese..

((MANDARIN)) My Taiwanese isn't as fluent as my Mandarin and Cantonese though

((MANDARIN))I didn't study Taiwanese hard because I've already been studying so many languages

where do you work?

((MANDARIN)) I'm a teacher. Language teacher. I have my own school

((MANDARIN)) This is my own company..like for example if you're interested in...what language..Japanese..

((MANDARIN)) I practice with you face to face. I would help you. This is my job.

For how long?

((MANDARIN)) This job? Already a few years...5 years

((MANDARIN)) But what kind of students are they?

((MANDARIN)) What kind of students?

((MANDARIN)) You mean normally what type of students I meet up with?

They give you personal information?

((MANDARIN)) My job is an analysis

that's why I like to know the level of the customers

((MANDARIN)) It's different

Are they American?

((MANDARIN)) It doesn't really matter....American, Japanese. My students are from all kinds of different places

((MANDARIN)) From different countries like Guangdong...China..Taiwan etc...

is it like a class?

((MANDARIN)) I use skype, do you know?

ooh. interesting

((MANDARIN)) But my wife works at...do you know ''Abbott Nutrition''?

((MANDARIN)) A Chinese company?

((MANDARIN)) No, an American company. They usually make that...how do you say..

((MANDARIN)) Baby formula...milk company. This company is called ''Abbott''

OK

I don't know lol

hahahhaa

((MANDARIN)) This company is very famous

((MANDARIN)) Famous?

((MANDARIN)) Everyone knows what type of company it is

((MANDARIN)) Is it in Columbus?

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) Actually, my wife's sister just came here last Sunday to visit and help take care of the kids.

((MANDARIN)) We have twins

((MANDARIN)) Do you live around here?

((MANDARIN)) Yea, it's about 10 minutes from here

((MANDARIN)) 10 minutes?

Do you have any business cards? hahaha

((MANDARIN)) We have twins

both girls?

((MANDARIN)) Right

very cute

((MANDARIN)) I don't have any business cards, but I can give you my information

I work in Groveport

((MANDARIN)) It's a company that buys televisions

we're customer service

oh, OK

((MANDARIN)) What I do at this company is...

pick up customer calls,right?

((MANDARIN)) I help them do analysis

((MANDARIN)) You do the business with them, then?

((MANDARIN)) Right, right ((MANDARIN)) Like if the T.V. or something is broken, then we report it to Japan since it's a Japanese company

oh, OK

((MANDARIN)) Really?

hahhhhhaa ((MANDARIN)) Yea, I've been there pretty long,so I know many who can speak English, but there are others that can't..

((MANDARIN)) They can't speak?

((MANDARIN)) They can, but with some limitations outside of the company. Maybe I can help find students for you

((MANDARIN)) Thanks

((MANDARIN)) Maybe there will be some opportunity for it..

((MANDARIN)) I forgot how to say 'recommend'

'Tuijian'

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) OK then

((MANDARIN)) How long have you been together?

((MANDARIN)) 2 years

((MANDARIN)) 2 years?

Oh, OK

((MANDARIN)) Where did you meet?

((MANDARIN)) She's a nanny

((MANDARIN)) What is she?

((MANDARIN)) Nanny

Nanny

She came from Thailand to take care of the baby

oh,OK

((MANDARIN)) Where did you meet?

((MANDARIN)) A friend of a friend

((MANDARIN)) Oh, a friend of a friend

oh, OK

((MANDARIN)) I'll give you my phone number

((MANDARIN)) By the way,my American name is Moses

((MANDARIN)) But my Chinese name is Mouse

((MANDARIN)) Mouse?

((MANDARIN))In Taiwanese it's ''CHI''

((MANDARIN)) ''Mouse likes to eat the rice''

Oh, the mouse

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) In Taiwanese it's ''Chi'' right? how do you say it

((MANDARIN)) This is just a nickname, but a long story why lol

((MANDARIN)) This a name given to me from a Chinese friend long ago

So you do have other Chinese friends?

((MANDARIN)) Not very many, but when I first started learning Chinese I had a good friend

((MANDARIN)) And at that time he introduced his whole family to me. They wanted to know what my American name is

((MANDARIN))After I told them my American name, which is Moses the tried saying it, but had a lot of problems with pronunciation

((MANDARIN)) They would say something like ''Mouse..Mouse'''

mouse

((MANDARIN)) Right, therefore my friend said ''Hey, I have a good name to give you''

((MANDARIN)) I said ''what name'' he says ''We're going to start calling you mouse''

((MANDARIN))I said, ''what does that mean??'' he said ''Laoshu means mouse''

I said..''aw,man!'' ((MANDARIN)) Why do you have to call me mouse?''

hahaha

((MANDARIN)) Oh, my phone number, I'll give it to you

((MANDARIN)) Do you have skype?

((MANDARIN))Yes, I have it

((MANDARIN))My skype is laoshu505000

((MANDARIN))Is it in Chinese?

((MANDARIN)) No, in Pinyin

this is your phone number,right?

((MANDARIN))Right, but I also want to give you my skype. My skype is...

((MANDARIN)) So when you go home you can add me on skype.

((MANDARIN)) I use skype everyday so we'll certainly have a chance to talk

((MANDARIN)) The thing is, my mom wants to come to America

((MANDARIN)) Your mom wants to come to America?

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) But she will only come temporarily

((MANDARIN)) ''Zanshi''means temporary,right?

((MANDARIN)) Right

((MANDARIN)) She wants an English teacher

hahahahahahhaa

it's a good opportunity

((MANDARIN)) I know but it's interesting because my wife's sister can't speak English

((MANDARIN)) Last night she just asked me if I can help her sister learn English so..

((MANDARIN)) We can try...

((MANDARIN)) Because, I think it's best to have an English teacher who can speak Chinese

((MANDARIN)) I agree

((MANDARIN)) In Taiwan they usually have English teachers, but they can also speak Chinese

((MANDARIN)) Do they have the accent?

((MANDARIN)) Yes, they do, but they can speak Chinese so...

teachingwise, it's much better

((MANDARIN)) I agree because English is my mothertonuge so it would be a bit more natural, right?

((MANDARIN)) So that when they teach they can use Chinese rather than English to ask ''Do you understand?''

hahahahha

right?

so...

((MANDARIN)) Speaking Chinese is better..

((MANDARIN)) More comfortable?

((MANDARIN)) Right

OK

Like I said ((MANDARIN)) I use skype everyday so after you add me you will see me...everyday

Alright ((MANDARIN)) I won't keep you,then

((MANDARIN)) Nice to meet you

((THAI)) Nice to meet you hahahahaha

((MANDARIN)) I haven't been doing Thai that long so... I don't speak it as much as Chinese so..

I'll introduce you to more friends

((MANDARIN)) Super cool!

hahahahahha

bye bye

Gravity Theories Exposed - Duration: 12:00.

Gravity Theories Exposed

by Rich Fiori,

Newtonian Gravity

Gravity isnt what we think it is.

Newton defined gravity in terms of an attractive force proportional to the combined object

masses that declined proportionally with the distance between two bodies.

We visualize this as if the two bodies actually have something inside them that makes them

attract one another.

Newton described the phenomena strictly with ordinary matter no knowledge of subatomic

particles, which were as yet undiscovered.

The theory goes on to describe the differences between spherical objects and non-spherical

objects.

Einsteins Gravity

Gravity is, according to Einstein, an unknown force generated by momentum and energy of

matter and radiation that causes the distortion of space-time.

He defines gravity geometrically.

The theory includes time dilation, time delay, space curvature, bending of light, and Doppler

effect of light; the latter commonly called redshift.

As with Newtons theory of gravity, there is something missing.

That something is a result of understanding the physics surrounding the Big Bang, quantum

mechanics, and the first several microseconds in the formation of the current scientific

universe.

The unanswered question is: Does gravity fit into the quantum mechanics model?

In other words, is gravity itself a subatomic particle (called a graviton)?

The scientific answer is We dont know.

Not only dont know but were not even close to an experimental or theoretical solution.

This after over one hundred years of the acceptance of Einsteins theory.

Exploring this further, if there is a graviton particle, it has some of the same characteristics

as other particle waves.

It has to be ubiquitous.

It has to be speed-of-light energy.

It has to act as a binding agent (a boson).

It has to be measurable using quantum mechanics i.e. discrete energy packets.

Unlike other bosons, the theory goes, gravitons can create themselves; in a tiny space the

process can go on indefinitely unless we introduce concepts from String Theory.

String Theory, a strictly mathematical set of equations that attempt to approximate the

desired reality, reduces the proliferation creation problem.

More complications arise when attempting to experimentally find a graviton particle.

The complications include: 1.

Gravity is a very weak 3D force (compared to the other three forces) and 2.

Gravity distorts space-time (proven through experiments).

Looking at the first complication, experiments can be conducted in the presence of a large

object like Jupiter and even then there would be interference by other forces (electromagnetic,

etc.).

Or the experiments can be conducted at the Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.

But this presents a dilemma, gravity should/could be multidimensional.

Looking at the second complication, gravity distorts itself by creating a feedback loop,

a prediction of the mathematical models.

And scientists would have to discover another dimension within which the greater part of

the energy would dissipate.

In other words find a hole and an absence of energy conservation as a result of the

LHC experiment.

The trampoline model, a metaphor, explains visually how gravity works to create stars,

planets, solar systems, and galaxies by curving and distorting space.

This is easy to understand and visualize.

Nevertheless, it is only a metaphor.

The trampoline is only a 2D representation of the deflection, which may be multidimensional

(at least 5D).

The model cannot, for example, describe the dilation of time.

Gravity, in this example, is a spiral vortex attracting matter and encouraging it to condense

and matter condenses as gravity builds a stronger vortex forming a feedback loop.

The quintessential example of gravity is the Black hole, which presents another complication

to understanding Einsteins gravity.

Black holes are enigmatic in that we know little about what occurs beyond their event

horizon.

The event horizon is the rim of the black hole beyond which all events can no longer

be seen.

Black holes are formed when a large star collapses into itself and the gravity creates a space

time vortex distortion.

This in turn attracts additional surrounding stars, solar systems, and galaxies to create

an even greater vortex distortion.

If gravitons exist and they dissipate their energy in higher dimensions then black holes

are pumping considerable energy into these additional dimensions.

In the 5D theory the graviton is replaced by what is called a graviphoton, a 5D particle

wave that has characteristics of a graviton and a photon.

In this description the graviphoton resolves some issues of Supersymmetry, which predicts/requires

an anti-particle definition for every particle.

The LHC in CERN has discovered antiparticles, this is not in question.

In String Theory, the graviphoton is also its own anti particle just as the photon is

its own antiparticle.

Its important to understand that an anti particle has nothing to do with anti gravity.

It is more important to think about a 5th Dimension than what the anti particle is because

most theories predict anti gravity in the 5th dimension (or higher dimensions depending

on whose model is used).

This means a 5D world where a fifth fundamental force exists that repels other particles and

object.

There are still unanswered questions in this expanding, complicated theory that relies

almost completely on mathematical models, of which there are numerous equations and

partial derivatives, etc.

Teslas Gravity

Nicola Tesla challenged Albert Einsteins theories of relativity.

He theorized and developed a dynamic theory of gravity.

Tesla challenged both of Einsteins theories, the equation that E = mc2 and the gravitational

distortion/curvature of space time (the trampoline metaphor).

Tesla thought that gravity does not curve space time but rather there is an ether gas

(aether, prana) that contains abundant energy and acts at times as a swirling electromagnetic

vortex to create matter.

He conjectured that matter does not contain energy in an of itself but rather gets its

energy from the ether through the electromagnetic swirl.

Einsteins theories and experiments gave us atomic power and they were never classified,

even though atomic bombs are annihilating devices.

Teslas theories were geared to give us unlimited free energy by taping into the ether.

Teslas theories and experiments are classified as national security by the US Government

under FOIA.

Tesla stated that electromagnetism is the pervasive and most important force in the

universe.

He posited that mechanical motion is universally caused by electromagnetic forces.

However, there is no public record of the mathematics to support these theories.

We know that all matter has electrical properties (composed of electrons, excited by photons).

From this and other properties of the earths dynamic microwave properties, Tesla experimented

with and was said to devise an electromagnetic machine capable of flying without wings, propellers,

etc.

In other words, he ostensibly discovered and proved his theories experimentally.

Tesla did not live long enough to give the world his unified theory of electromagnetic

gravity.

One major result of Teslas theories is that electromagnetic entropy can return energy

through the ether by storing it there as potential energy.

This contradicts the Second Law of Thermodynamics and explains that entropy like energy is conserved;

the result of which brings order back to the universe.

To offer an explanation, which is only somewhat accurate, Teslas flying machine (ethercraft)

uses potential energy stored in the ether to create the effect of lift by creating an

electromagnetic force (EMF) surrounding the ethercraft.

This force can be plied in any direction by varying the amplitude and frequency of the

generated EMF.

The ether continuously provides the energy needed for propulsion and anything else needed.

Additionally, entropy is conserved by returning energy back to the ether, creating a dynamic

machine that conserves energy and entropy.

This energy (according to Tesla) exists everywhere in the universe.

Conclusions

Teslas Theory unifies the electromagnetic and gravity forces elegantly and his experimental

results may have demonstrated its validity.

Tesla discovered and produced the electric motor and proved alternating current superior

to direct current for powering electrical devices.

Following the financial resources given to each Theory, its clear Relativity Theory

has the numbers.

All the relativity equations have been proven accurate, including the curvature of space

time.

When looking at some of the ancient structures, especially the pyramids, it feels intuitively

obvious that their construction was at least aided by the forces discussed in Teslas

Theory.

Teslas Theory of gravity uses a different vocabulary than were used to.

This requires some mental conditioning to fully comprehend his descriptions and predictions.

Since Tesla had an eidetic memory, he didnt need to write down anything to remember it.

This contributed to the lack of documents surrounding his work.

Like Einsteins theories put into practice, Teslas theory requires a considerable amount

of financial backing and dedication to prove or disprove.

It is in the interests of the powerful and rich to keep Teslas Theory concealed at

least until fossil fuel actually begins to run out.

Einsteins Theories and Teslas Theory need not be mutually exclusive.

For example; Special Relativity like Teslas theory, predicts enormous amounts of potential

energy that is available.

And like Plato, Galileo, and Newton before them, Einstein and Tesla are destined to be

superseded.

Imagine with all your positive emotions and thoughts that someone will develop Teslas

dream of abundant energy for everyone and give it to

the world.

Peace.
