The Real Reason We Don't Hear From David Caruso Anymore - Duration: 3:59.

For a decade, David Caruso was one of the biggest stars on TV thanks to his starring

role as Horatio Caine on CSI: Miami, which quickly turned Caruso into the king of internet

memes as well.

"Maybe he took off?"

"Or maybe, he got taken for a ride."

"yeeeeaaaahhhh!!!"

But CSI: Miami left the airwaves in 2012 and Caruso hasn't been seen since.

Why?

Here's a look at the real reason we don't hear from David Caruso anymore.

Bomb squad

After just one season on the critically acclaimed police drama NYPD Blue, for which he earned

an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Caruso shocked the TV world

by quitting the show to pursue a film career.

"I think if David Caruso walks away from the series now you'll never hear from him again."

A year later, in 1995, he starred in his first two movies, Kiss of Death and Jade, both of

which were monumental box office bombs.

He eventually rebounded with supporting roles in Proof of Life and Session 9, only to see

those films crash and burn as well.

"man, you f----- up!!"

That effectively ended his film career, leaving him with TV as his only option.

"Ike!

Do your impersonation of David Caruso's career!"

"It's my turn!"

Difficult

Nobody wants to work with a prima donna, and Caruso has earned a reputation as an actor

who's less than easygoing.

When he left NYPD Blue after one season, it was seemingly something of a relief to both

producer Steven Bochco and creator David Milch.

In his memoir, Bochco described Caruso's behavior as "cancerous" and "volatile, moody, or sullen,

depending on the day," adding, "Most people don't function well in a dysfunctional environment,

but Caruso loved it because he was the source of all the discontent, and it empowered him."

As for Milch, the writer discussed the first season of NYPD Blue on IFC's Dinner for Five.

Milch remembered Caruso getting scripts and making comments like "who writes this s***?"—directly

to Milch, who was often the one who wrote that s***.

Milch says the stress of working with Caruso nearly killed him.

"I said 'I'm having a f------ heartattack arguing with this guy.

With this no talent G----- bastard."

He's really expensive

CSI: Miami was both a massive ratings hit and a long-running show.

That means that as the series went along, Caruso earned more and more money.

Toward the end of its 10-season run, he was reportedly pulling in $375,000 per episode,

which made him the fourth-highest paid dramatic actor on television.

That means for Caruso to sign on for a new project would be seriously costly.

But today's TV landscape isn't what it was at CSI: Miami's peak.

Network television shows command ever-smaller audiences as viewers migrate to the growing

number of streaming services and cable channels.

Is Caruso a big enough draw to be worth the money — and the hassle — of dealing with

him?

He's too busy fighting his property tax bill

In 1998, four years before he took on the role on CSI: Miami, Caruso bought a luxury

condo in a Miami Beach high-rise called Il Villagio.

And apparently every year since 2011, Caruso fights paying his property taxes on it.

His formal appeals are heard by a committee called the Value Adjustment Board, which takes

complaints about properties that may have been overvalued and thus overtaxed.

Caruso's success rate in getting those taxes lowered has been mixed.

For example, in 2011 and 2013 the board lowered them by a small amount, and in 2014 and 2015

his pleas were rejected.

"Miami has a new breed of criminal."

"Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh!!!!"

He seems to be retired

Just what Caruso is up to these days is hard to say.

Since CSI: Miami went off the air in 2012, he doesn't have a single acting or producing

credit.

And he doesn't have anything lined up either.

Many fans wonder if he's simply retired for good, or if he's just waiting for the right

offer to come along.

Time will tell if he regains the itch to act after an extended period out of the spotlight,

but for now, it seems that whether or not Hollywood's done with him, David Caruso's

done with Hollywood.

Transparent Watercolor Ground on Wood! - Duration: 5:40.

hey guys so here's something kind of fun! I went to Michael's and I went to look

for tiny canvases because I wanted to try a watercolor on canvas with my

transparent watercolor ground by daniel smith. i did not find any canvases I

liked but I did find these really neat little wooden plaques and they are a

very good price and they are very beautiful. I'm surprised I hadn't really

done this sooner because I really enjoyed working with these. I ended up

picking ones that had knots in the wood because I thought the color and the

pattern of the beveled edge was really lovely. so here's what I usually go for

when I use wood. I usually want to see the wood in the painting otherwise I

wouldn't bother... and that's why I was really excited about using daniel smith

transparent watercolor ground. because I thought that if I could paint watercolor

on a solid surface like wood... being able to paint on a solid surface like wood

without painting the whole thing white would be a dream come true so ...I applied

quite a thick layer of it on. the first layer that i put on the wood was

actually matte acrylic glaze. I don't know if it was good enough because it

was matte? maybe I should have done gloss? but you're supposed to glaze wooden

surfaces before you paint on them no matter what kind of paint you're using

because you don't know if the tannins in the wood are going to affect your painting

in the end. so I did that.... which is a clear glaze and then I sort of really

heaped on the transparent watercolor ground. I had some time to waste before I

actually started working with these so I was I was a little bit more heavy-handed

than I normally am. because normally I'm very impatient and I just want to have

the surface ready to go . this time I put what I thought was an adequate

amount of watercolor ground on the wood and I'm thinking that maybe it was just

a little bit too thick because on the heart

the heart was actually quite white when I started. I'm okay with it now but while

I was doing it I just thought was the worst thing ever. each of these plaques are

going toward my places series so I have a main painting this ... you know, for the

Edmonton painting I had done? you've seen that. and the white rock one which I may

have uploaded already . I wanted to have a bunch of little studies to

go along with it. because I'm sort of seeing this in my head as a future

gallery showing maybe? something like that. so I really wanted to have main

image and then have the studies sort of around it . so on the heart I did paint Magpies

for the Edmonton theme and on the oval one I did a bumblebee on the blue

flowers for the white rock scene. and but this time I really wanted to experiment.

so I took some acrylic gel medium and I glazed the heck out of this

i took my palette knife and I put a rather large amount of gel medium on this.

it was very much like icing a cookie or putting cream cheese on a bagel ... I had a

very food sort of feeling to it which was really fun!

I was looking going for a deeper look - I wanted to the bird and the bumblebee to look

like they were embedded. I think I was inspired by resin paintings where people

paint and then they pour resin inside and then paint again and then maybe they

pour more resin inside? you know, like I wanted the multi layer kind of look I

don't that's quite what I ended up with but I do like how it turned out.

i can really see myself doing this again um I would actually really like to try it

with resin. I really like it. I think it'd look really cool . yes totally worth a shot if

anyone's done this with resin I like to hear how that turned out

like, how it compares? I bet you the resin ones just look better . thanks for

watching and I'll see you next time bye

you

Diana ϟ Lexa ϟ Clarke | Wonder Women Trailer - Duration: 4:08.

I used to want to save the world.

It's beautiful.

Who would wield it?

Only the fiercest among us even could.

And that is not you Diana.

I learned this the hard way, a long long time ago.

You will train her harder,

than any Amazon before her.

Five times harder.

Ten times harder.

Never let your guard down!

You expect the battle to be fair!

Until she is better than even you.

But she must never know the truth.

About what she is.

Your enemies are circling.

Now is not the time for good intentions.

I will not let the fear of war dictate our agenda.

What war?

Please tell me, that going to war is not what you want.

I cannot stand by while innocent lives are lost.

There has to be another way.

You're invaders.

You started a war that you don't know how to end.

Tearing each other and yourself apart,

isn't a way to get through this.

Peace with the "grounders" is the only way we'll survive.

The only way to save both our people is if we join together.

I'm doing it.

I swear fealty to you.

I'm sorry.

Please don't leave.

Shhh.

Who will I be if I stay?

For what it's worth.

Maybe we found each other for a reason.

We get each other.

I won't let them touch you.

I promise.

This is about Clarke.

She's being hunted.

By everyone.

What are you?

We are what we are.

I love you too.

Please read the description first before asking any questions.

[ENG SUB] SOME IDOL LEAVING WITH OUR CREDIT CARD & CRAZY STORIES IN KOREA! - Duration: 24:10.

Sarah : "Hi everyone !! Welcome on Paris is our Seoul's channel !

Today we'll tell you some stories that happened to us during our trip to Korea"

Inaya :" These are stories that surprised us or even shocked us

So we decided to talk about it because some of you have asked us"

Sarah :" Now let's begin !"

Inaya : " Here one of the story that shocked us the most

While we were crossing the street, one night a car stopped not far from us

We were about to go back home

At first we did'nt see it but the car turned on the same alley as us"

S : "The car stopped right in front of me

Then a guy opened the door

He was completely naked !

And in addition he was playing with the thing between his legs !

At that time I remained shocked in front of the car

Inaya was behind me

I : "I was sreaming at her

She was like paralysed"

S : "Maybe he thought that I liked it because he was still playing

I : "And we started to run

Because we were afraid that the guy would take us by force in his car

We ran to our house

We took a different path so he wouldn't find where we lived"

S : "We were really shocked because in France those things have never happened to us"

I : "I have some friends that go out the night...

(To Sally one of our friend) You often go out right ?

Sally : "Yes and these things happened to me a lot of time

S : "It didn' happen only once

I : "The other times it was in front of me and I was alone

It happened to me every time Sarah left me to go to convenience store or to find a trash can...

One time I acted as if I didn't see him

And the 2nd time I showed him my middle finger and told him to get out

The only "good" thing is that they leave right away

I don't know if it's only these two in particular who were "nice"

Or maybe we were just "lucky" "

S : ""I think it was luck

I : " There was also the one who played with a pole on the street

But this time it wasn't intended for us he was weird "

S : "He was alone and did weird stuff with a pole

I: " He was just crazy

Those things happened only at the end of our trip

The 3 last days

So this story will be about when we do shopping"

S: "We were a bit surprised because in France when we enter a shop we say at least <Hello>

It's automatic

So we were always saying <Hello> also in Korea

And when they gave us something we thanked them

But in Korea they don't do it

I:" When they enter a shop and the employee say <Welcome> they don't answer back"

S : "They just take their stuff pay and leave wihtout a word

I: "They don't even say <Goodbye>"

S : "It's kind of strange to act like that

It's rude

I: " We are used to say <Hello, Thank you, Goodbye>

S: " Even in restaurants they just order"

I: "They don't say <please> most of the time

S:" In France if you don't say at least <Hello> before ordering I think most people won't answer back

Personally I won't

Sometimes in France we are very polite

I:" Yes in these situatons we are very polite

S: " In the subway they jostle you and and don't apologize

I: " Another thing surprised us in shops, and it's annoying

S: " Yes it is I really don't like when they do it to me

I even less want to stay in the shop

The saleswomen follow you everywhere from the entrance until you leave

With a little basket they follow you

Maybe you just want to see some beauty products

Even ifI want to buy something when they do that I only want to leave

They watch me then when I take something they make me try it

When they kept doing it I just leave

I: " It's kind of weird when someone you don't know puts sunddenly cream on your hands

We get that they have to help customers but they don't have to follow them like that"

S: "It was weird"

I: " We were unconfortable because of that"

Maybe it's because we're Parisian

In Seoul the gallantry doesn't exist

A guy pushed me to take the seat

We rarely sat down on the subway maybe like two times

S: " And both times we had problems

Right Julia ?

Now we'll talk about communication problems"

S: " We had a lot

S: " We also had communication problems especially Inaya it was for food

It was the same day

I: "I hadn't eaten all

I suggested taking a waffle to Sarah

I ordered one with two ice sceam scoops it was chocolate and banana

But I changed my mind and asked to the waitress to exchange mango intead of banana

I repeated several times to make sure she undersands

The first thing that I noticed was that there wasn't any chocolate scoop with my waffle

So I told her that it wasn't what I ordered for

She answered that she couldn't change it

S:" That wasn't very pleasant and nice of her but it's ok we let it go

Maybe you'll think i'm capricious but when you hadn't eaten all day and you're sick that no one understands you...

It's too much

After that as I still hadn't eaten we decided to go eat a pizza

I ordered a sea food pizza

It was also composed of pineapple and mayonnaise

So I ordered it without pineapple and mayonnaise only with sea food

We had waited like 40 minutes because he worked alone

It's finally done I was so hungry !

I took a slice of pizza but there was something on it that seemed odd

So I asked Julia if this was really meat epecially if it was pork

She looked at it and confirmed me that it was pork

At that time I had a mental breakdown then I left right away without saying anything

Pork in a sea food pizza ?!"

S :"It was an example of comprehension problem that we had"

I: " You may experience it if you don't speak Korean

Mostly in English they are really bad

We had an appointment at SBS

We went to ask to 2 women at the reception with simple sentences in English for our appointment

They looked at us and said that they don't speak English

They were smiling at each other

They were embarrassed"

I: "They even asked the security guard

S: "It was at SBS (one of the biggest TV channel in Korea) and they don't speak English !

We nevertheless managed to make ourselves understood

They made us speak on the phone ourselves

It makes me think of the guy who distributed flyers in the subway"

S: "We were totally lost but he spoke English perfectly

I was like WOW !

I wanted to tell him to go apply at SBS

Big communication problem they should try more in English"

I: "You'll experience it if you go to Korea

This story happened the first days when we went to Hongdae and it was the first time that i've seen that

Everything was out of control

At 10pm everyone was drunk and was lying on the floor

We were walking when we saw a guy sat down on the floor I think he was slepping

He looked rich with his outfit

We know that in Korea they don't steal other's stuff but we never know

He was alone

People around us didn't notice him because they were drunk or they just didn't care"

S: "He pitied us so we tried to wake him up

He was completly out"

I:" Then two guys came to us

We didn't know them

They were too insistent and annoying and one of them tried to kiss Sarah

They touched people's butt

Fortunately it wasn't mine

S: " Mine either

They saw that we were trying to helps the guy on the floor so they started to bother him

They took his bag

They acted like they were helping him to get up but it wasn't friendly"

S: "With abrupt gesture

Then another guy came right ?

And he started to talk to us hee was really nice"

I: "But he was bit drunk"

S:" He seemed sober

We talked a bit with him

And the other guys those who were annoying saw us talking to the other guy

But not to them

So they pulled over the "nice one" and started to threaten him"

I:" They were older than him so he couldn't say anything

So we panicked it was out of control we were afraid that they would hit him

So we ran after them"

S: " We told them to stop and that he was our friend

And the guy that was lying on the floor suddenly got up

While we were arguing and he was asking < what's going on ?>

Then he fell asleep again

Apparently it's normal to sleep on the floor in Korea when we're drunk

Usually they don't steal you stuff in Korea

I: " Yes they don't we often left our things on table or whatever"

S: " The first days we were as careful as we are in Paris

And after we left our bags and stuff eveywhere

There is only one thing they stole from us and it was at the airport

It's not a phone or money

It was a rainy day they stole our umbrella"

I: "We left it"

S:" We went ask something at the reception and when we went back it wasn't there anymore"

I: "It wasn't our umbrella but the one that the owner of the apartment lent us

So we were looking for it everywhere

Great ! We didn't have an umbrella on a rainy day and we had to buy another one

Now since it's South Korea we'll talk about Idols

These encounters surprised us the most

The first one we were walking

Then we noticed a lot of people that were waiting for someone in front of a restaurant

I:"

How?

Bring it on.

Everyone, let's go!

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Whoa, whoa, no, no, no, no!

That might have been my fault. I'm sorry, y'all.

I think Kimberly needs to move our feet.

- No, I've got the arm. - Uh, no, I do. I've got the leg.

- You're a leg, too? - I have the arm.

We all have to move together.

I'll lift us.

All together on three.

One, two, three!

We got this! Come on!

Zack, catch us.

Let's go again!

Kimberly, throw a hook! Now!

Whoo!

Oh, I wish I could punch.

Nice one, Billy!

You think you've won?

I came for the crystal.

Others will come!

What you have... it can't last.

You know I'm right!

- No. - No.

I don't know. But for now,

I need you to give your staff and your coin to us.

And we'll take you to Zordon and let him be the judge.

Zordon? Judge me?

Never!

No matter what Zordon says,

I know I am worthy!
