KENNETH: The stronger that concept gets that He is in me.

He is in there to wither the tree, He is in there to wither

that cancer. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: He is in

there to wither that sickness and disease.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for me.

I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: Welcome to the Believer's Voice of Victory

Arkansas Special. Today, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland teach on the

spiritual laws that govern faith. When you purposefully

live in God's love, that love adds all things to your life.

KENNETH: Hello, everybody. We're Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, and

welcome to the Believer's Voice of Victory broadcast. Let's have

a word of prayer; we'll get right into today's Bible lesson.

Father, we just praise You and thank You. We worship You. We

lift our praise, our hearts, our faith to You. We are Yours to

command, Sir. And we receive Your presence on this broadcast

today. GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: We receive insight,

ideas, concepts, revelation from heaven about Jesus and living

this life of faith. We pray it in Jesus' name and believe we

receive it. Amen. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: Glory, glory, glory to

God. I want you to know, God is good-- GLORIA: He is good.

KENNETH: --and His mercy endures forever. GLORIA: Oh, aren't we

glad? KENNETH: Isn't it wonderful? GLORIA: Mm-hmm.

KENNETH: You know, welcome to our place here in southwest

Arkansas. This began just as four acres in--right just in

this area where we're sitting here, that--of course, this

house wasn't here, and the pond wasn't there. It was

just--really just a bare hill full of rocks out here in the

beginning. GLORIA: And abundance of rocks. KENNETH: Abundance of

rocks. We picked up rocks and picked up rocks and picked up

rocks. And, you know, you would think this place was growing

rocks. And the kids--we--they rode their little Z50 Hondas out

here all over this place back before we had anything, and it

was just raw like it is in the picture that-- GLORIA: Rock and

dirt. KENNETH: --that--yeah, in the picture that you've seen

on--when the place was originally set in here, that was

this house here before Gloria got her and her mother got her

hands on it. And they just rebuilt this thing and restored

it. It was just--into the beautiful place it is now. Back

there then they're out riding around all over, banging into

rocks and stuff. We just had an enormous amount of fun out here

and--but the big thing about this place, God provided the

vision and the provision for the house, the log cabins-- GLORIA:

Yep. KENNETH: --the pond. I was standing over there by a tree

and just praising and worshiping the Lord over this place

when--and--when your grandmother and granddaddy gave it to us.

And I just heard it on the inside of me just like any

Christian can hear God speak if you're listening. He said, "See

that little dry creek bed?" I said, "Yes, Sir." And my eyes

were following that creek bed. And God--and He pointed out a

tree over there to me. He said, "If you will build a levy, a dam

right there and bring it all the way across there," He said,

"You'll dam up that water. You will have a nice pond there."

GLORIA: Well, we had a lot of it dug out, too, didn't we?

KENNETH: Well--well, yeah, it was just a creek bed. GLORIA:

Yeah. KENNETH: But then we found out that the State of Arkansas

had--or the--had a conservation thing going. GLORIA: Yeah.

KENNETH: And the state was providing money to help people

build ponds and lakes and things around to conserve water.

GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: And they paid-- GLORIA: Just in

time. KENNETH: --they paid for--it only cost us I think

$600 to get the thing dug out and all that went with it. And

God just blessed. GLORIA: It's a blessing. KENNETH: That's just

the way He is, Gloria. GLORIA: I know it. KENNETH: He wants you

blessed! GLORIA: He's got ideas. If you'll get His ideas, you'll

do good. KENNETH: Oh, yes, the blessed One. Amen. Let's go back

to our place in I John where we've been reading our--in what

Brother Hagin used to call, "our golden text." Amen. In I John

4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." And

what we're talking about all last week and all this week is

renewing our minds to the fact that God is love and love does

no ill to its neighbor. We read that yesterday in the 13th

chapter of Romans. Well, how about God? He is love. Well, He

does no ill to anybody-- GLORIA: Oh, my. KENNETH: --ever,

anybody, any time except the devil. He will do him bad. Glory

to God. And that's good. Love stands up for its own. Now,

let's go down now and read the 16th, 17th, and 18th verses. "We

have known and believed--" had faith. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH:

We're going to have to learn to believe, believe the love and

have faith, learn to trust His love, learn to--learn--the

scripture says, "Lean not to your own understanding; but

trust God with all your heart." Well, if you're trusting God,

you're trusting love because He is love. GLORIA: That's right.

KENNETH: But we--love has been so misused. It--"love" is a

slang word in the English language and so is God and so is

Lord and all of that, and too much so in the Christian

community. I mean, born-again people ought to not be using

God's name in any form in any way like that except to praise

Him. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: "But I love my--you know, I love

this, I love that. Oh, don't you love it? Oh, don't you love it?

I love pizza. I love--" Well, you know, and just a slang word.

And by doing that, you have no real concept of--and give the

word "love" the reverence and the honor that it deserves, the

honor that is right alongside with the name of Jesus, the

blood of Jesus and the Word of God. Hallelujah. GLORIA: Amen.

KENNETH: Because it is God, "In the beginning was the Word, the

Word was with God, and the Word was God." Well, in the beginning

was love, the Word was with love, and love was--and the Word

was love. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Now, "In the beginning love

created the heavens and the earth." Well, on what day did

love create cancer? He didn't. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH:

And would never! Amen. The devil brought that. There was no

sickness, there was no disease, there was no disaster, there

were no storms until the devil got his hands on this place.

Amen. Now, look at this. God is love. To have faith in love,

then you must--you and I and everybody else--we must use the

laws, the spiritual laws, that govern faith in order to develop

and renew our minds concerning this. Then we have to do it the

faith way. So let's go over to the 11th chapter of Mark's

gospel, Verse 12. "On the morrow, when they were come from

Bethany, Jesus was hungry: Seeing a fig tree afar off

having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon:

when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time

of figs was not. And Jesus answered and said unto it," or

said to the tree, "No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for

ever. And his disciples heard it. And they came to Jerusalem:

and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that

sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the

moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; Would not

suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house

shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? You've made

it a den of thieves. And the scribes and chief priests heard

it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared

him, because all the people were astonished at his doctrine. And

when even," or evening, "was come, he went out of the city."

So, Gloria, they left here in the morning-- GLORIA: Mm-hmm.

KENNETH: He stopped at the fig tree, spoke to it. They left in

the evening. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: So there's about 12

hours there, roughly. And they went back to Bethany. Well, now,

they had to walk right by that tree. It was either one or two

things. It was either dark, which probably not because they

wouldn't have waited till dark to walk back to Bethany. GLORIA:

Yeah. KENNETH: So they had to walk right past that tree. And

if there had been--if you could have seen anything on the

outside of that tree that looked like any change in it, Peter

would have said something then instead of waiting till the next

morning. So sometime between 12 and 24 hours, that tree died and

withered. Now, it's one thing just for the tree to die. Had it

just killed that tree, it still would have taken a while for it

to wither. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: That meant all the

leaves had to die. All the leaves fell off of it. The tree

itself withered, so a powerful force hit this thing. I mean,

it--you know, it wasn't just time passing. It didn't just

kill the tree. I mean, it stopped that tree right then.

GLORIA: He spoke to it. KENNETH: Yeah. GLORIA: The roots died.

KENNETH: The root-- GLORIA: It died from the bottom. KENNETH:

--the roots died. And then the force of His faith--it dried up

from the roots, and the force of His faith withered it. GLORIA:

Yeah. You know, that happens in our own personal lives when

we're believing for a situation or a problem to be stopped, and

we speak to it, command it to quit, stop, die, whatever we

tell it to do. You can't tell just immediately sometimes that

something happens. But, from the time you release your faith,

whatever that sickness was, whatever the problem was, the

money problem, whatever, it begins to wither up-- KENNETH:

Yes, amen. GLORIA: --at the root. KENNETH: Yes. Amen.

GLORIA: Talk to the root of it. KENNETH: Amen. GLORIA: And if

you won't undo your faith that you've spoken, it'll come to

pass. KENNETH: It'll wither up. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: It'll die

and wither up. GLORIA: Yeah, yeah. KENNETH: That's good.

GLORIA: But so many times people quit before it happens. KENNETH:

And I believe one of the reasons for that, Gloria, is not

realizing that God is in this with you because He loves you.

Love is in it with you. Love, Himself, is on the inside of

you. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: And when faith worketh by love,

we're talking about God here. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH:

And when--the stronger that concept gets, that He is in me,

He is in there to wither the tree. He is in there to wither

that cancer. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: He is in there

to wither that sickness and disease. He is in there to

totally and completely destroy any and everything Satan has

ever been able to do to you. GLORIA: You know, but they

couldn't see it from the outside for a while. KENNETH: It was at

least 24 hours. GLORIA: Yep. But the thing died just like the

sickness and the disease. If you release faith on it, it'll die.

KENNETH: You know, I never had had this thought before in my

life till right then, just as you said that. The tree died in

the dark. GLORIA: Hmm, yeah. KENNETH: Now, that sickness,

that tumor, or whatever you're dealing with--you're dealing

with things in the spirit realm you can't see. You're dealing

with spirits that you can't see with your physical eye. So

they're in the dark, as far as that goes, because you can't

physically see them. GLORIA: Yeah, mm-hmm. KENNETH: But you

can't--that disease is hidden on the inside. Even if it's come

out somewhere on your body where you can see it, or even if it's

some situation in the family that you can see, you're dealing

with unseen forces here and you're releasing an unseen

force. The most powerful unseen force that exists is God, who is

love. And He hates Satan. He hates sickness and disease

because He loves people, and He hates poverty and He loves

people. Praise God. GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: Amen.

GLORIA: So the key to that story is, "Stay with it. Don't quit."

KENNETH: Yeah, let patience-- GLORIA: "And call it finished."

KENNETH: Yeah. Jesus spoke the desired end result. GLORIA:

Yeah, that's right. KENNETH: So that's what we're supposed to

do. GLORIA: That's right. Amen. KENNETH: Amen. GLORIA: praise

God. It works. KENNETH: "Let patience have her perfect

work, that we be entire, wanting nothing." Jesus is my shepherd.

I do not want. I do not want for healing. GLORIA: That's right.

KENNETH: I do not want for money and the things I need. I do not

want for these things. They're all on the inside of me because

the kingdom of God's on the inside of me because God's the

one whose love is on the inside of me. GLORIA: Praise God.

KENNETH: Glory to God. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: And as I seek

first--if I seek first God as I seek first love-- GLORIA: Yeah.

KENNETH: --then all these things will be added to me. GLORIA:

Praise God. KENNETH: Praise God. GLORIA: Well, we've lived--we've

lived that way. We know it works. KENNETH: We believe the

love. GLORIA: Yes, we do. KENNETH: I believe He loves me.

I believe it beyond anything that I believe. Spirit, soul,

body, brain, anything, I believe God loves me. I believe God

loves me. GLORIA: Yes. KENNETH: I believe God loves Kenneth.

GLORIA: I believe He does, too. KENNETH: Glory to God.

I got an insight into that 50 years ago, and I haven't

turned loose of it and it's been growing in me. But here lately,

it's growing even more rapid and more powerful. Now, when they

brought this up, "In the morning, they passed by, and saw

that fig tree dried up from the roots. Peter calling to

remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree

which you cursed is withered away." Now, then Jesus

immediately began to talk about faith. GLORIA: Yeah, He did.

KENNETH: So the reason--the reason He took the time to kill

that fig tree with His faith was to use it to teach them. GLORIA:

An example. KENNETH: Now, He immediately said, "Have faith in

love." Well, now, wait a minute here. Have faith in who? "Have

faith in love." "No, wait a minute, Brother Copeland. No, He

said, 'Have faith in God.'" No, He said, "Have faith in love."

"Brother Copeland, it doesn't say, 'love.' It says, 'God,

G-O-D.'" No, it said, "love." GLORIA: God-- TOGETHER: --is

love! KENNETH: Come on. Every time you hear the word "God,"

from now on, just let your mind just click over there and grab

ahold of love. Any time somebody says, "love," that's God. And if

they're talking about, you know, using love in a strange way, it

needs to become where it gets your attention. It doesn't sit

well with you anymore. And-- "For verily I say unto you,

whosoever--whoso--" Gloria, whosoever can do this. All you

have to be is a human being and be able--to be able to do this.

GLORIA: That's right, whosoever. KENNETH: Monkeys can't do it

because they can't talk. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: (Laughs)

Amen. GLORIA: If they could, they'd be ruling the world. It's

a good thing they can't. KENNETH: (Laughs) "For I say,

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, be

thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart--"

That's not talking about your physical organ of the heart,

it's talking about the spirit of man. The spirit is the heart of

man. This is a heart. This is not mine. It's not mind over

matter. No, no. The--mentally--people can

mentally believe something, but there's no power in the mind.

Now, there is willpower, but that's different from the mind.

You use your mind to exercise your will. All that's part of

your soul. And it's powerful. Will--boy, "I will do this," or

"I will not do this." That's a powerful thing. GLORIA:

Willpower has to do with you-- KENNETH: Well, it does. GLORIA:

--not whether--it doesn't change a tree or a body or anything.

But it's what--it has to do with changing you. Do you see what

I'm saying? KENNETH: And controlling you. It'll control

you because if God can say something to you and you--you

can just not believe it. I mean, your will is stronger than God's

until you yield your will to His. You don't--you don't become

weak-willed. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: You're

strong-willed. I'm a very strong-willed man. GLORIA: You

mostly-- KENNETH: But I strongly will to obey God's will and I

have accepted His will as my will and put my will subject to

His, and that's what makes you strong. GLORIA: You mostly use

willpower on yourself. KENNETH: You better. (Both laugh) GLORIA:

That's what you should do. KENNETH: Now, notice this:

"Believe that those things which he saith--the things which he

says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."

Now, that's the way faith is released. GLORIA: Mm-hmm.

KENNETH: "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you

desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you

shall have them. And when you stand praying, forgive." You

see, this is--this is so intertwined with love that

without love, it can't work because faith worketh by love.

God is--God is love. Of course, faith works by Him. It's His

faith. Amen. It was the faith that was in the seed of His Word

that got you born again. I get so excited about this I can

hardly stay in this chair. I wanted to jump and jump over

this whole thing. GLORIA: That's not much of a chair. You

better--you better control yourself. KENNETH: Oh, you got a

thing about that chair. You don't like that. You don't like

that itty bitty chair at all. (Both Laugh) But I want you to

see this. If you're going to--you're going to have to

begin to talk love. You're going to have to be saying, "God loves

me and I love God. I love Him with all my heart, all my soul,

all my mind and all my strength." GLORIA: So I do.

KENNETH: And I believe He loves me with all His heart, all His

soul, all His mind, and all of His strength. GLORIA: I love

God, so I do what He says. KENNETH: I love God and do what

He says. That's faith. GLORIA: Yeah. That's right. KENNETH:

Amen. If he says, "Love," I love. I don't care if I feel

like loving or not. I'm going to do what God-- GLORIA: Yes, amen.

KENNETH: --and His love tells me to do. GLORIA: That's right.

KENNETH: Because I'm just like Him and to be just like Him,

praise God, I'm going to have to act like Him. And I'm going to

do it whether I feel like my--feelings, just get in line.

GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: And we're out of time. GLORIA:

Wow, where'd the time go? KENNETH: My, my, my. Gloria and

I will be back in just a moment. And by the way, we love you.

ANNOUNCER: God's perfect love gets rid of all fear.

Join Kenneth and Gloria Copeland as they teach you how to keep

your love walk strong so you can live in peace and enjoy life.

Now let's join them for today's Believer's Voice of Victory.

KENNETH: Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Believer's Voice

of Victory broadcast. Let's have a Word of prayer.

We'll get right into today's Bible lesson. Father,

we do thank You today. GLORIA: Thank You, Lord.

KENNETH: We love You with all of our hearts, all of our souls,

all of our mind, all of our strength. We're Yours to

command. GLORIA: Thank You, Lord. KENNETH: We open our eyes

and open our ears to hear the Word of the Lord who is love,

who is God, who is love. And we thank You and we praise You

today in Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. We're Kenneth and

Gloria Copeland, and we're here at our place in southwest

Arkansas that I--you know, I, for years, have called it our

laughing place. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: And we've just had so

many of the blessings of the Lord manifest through in because

of this place. It's just been wonderful all these years, and

we just wanted to share that with you. GLORIA: Tell them what

day we're celebrating with them today. KENNETH: Our anniversary,

55 years. Glory to God. GLORIA: 50--can you imagine being

married to one man for 55 years and not wanting to quit? Glory

to God. KENNETH: I'm glad to hear that. That's good to hear,

Gloria. GLORIA: Yeah, I'm going to stay with you. KENNETH:

(Laughs) GLORIA: I think we ought to go for 100, an

anniversary at least 100 years. KENNETH: Well, that'll be all

right. Well, I'll be 120 in 40 years. GLORIA: See? That's not

unreasonable. KENNETH: And I've set my faith on that, and

Genesis-- GLORIA: Okay. KENNETH: --3:6 or 6:3 makes that

statement. It's the only where in the Bible-- GLORIA: Only

where? KENNETH: --where God spoke and said, "The days of man

shall be," and there's nowhere in the Bible where He withdrew

that. GLORIA: Okay, I believe that. KENNETH: And so we stood

on that some years ago and I believe it. And our health is

improving and getting stronger every day. GLORIA: Amen.

KENNETH: Amen. And so--and you can do the same thing. GLORIA:

It could be that we get to celebrate with everybody after

the rapture in heaven. KENNETH: I'm pulling for that. GLORIA:

That's good. KENNETH: I'm pulling for that. GLORIA: That

would be the best part, right there. KENNETH: Glory to God.

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. You hear that Lord? Yeah, I know you did.

GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: Amen. Thank You, Lord. Praise

God. Now, let's go to our golden text in I John, in the 4th

chapter. "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is

love." GLORIA: God is love. KENNETH: Now the 16th verse, "We

have known and believed," or had faith, "in the love that God

hath to us. God is love; and he that," dwelleth in love," who is

God, "dwelleth in God," who is love, "and God," who is love,

"in him. Herein is our love made perfect," or developed, "that we

may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he--"

GLORIA: Yes. KENNETH: --Jesus, who is love "--as he is, so are

we in this world." GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: "There is

no fear in love." No, God is love. There couldn't be any fear

in Him. So we're born of Him. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Our

spirits are born again by His love, which is the Word of God,

which is the Word of love. So there ought not be any fear in

us. Now, look at this: "Perfect," or working,

developing, growing, "love casteth out fear." It doesn't

just manage it. It doesn't just put it down or put it away. It

gets rid of it. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: Why? "Because

fear hath torment." You know who the tormentor is. It is Satan.

The devil is the tormentor, and he's the spirit of fear. He is

the spirit of death. Amen. He that fears-- now--is not

developed in love. I want to touch on that for a moment here.

It's not the fear that's manifest at a time of

astonishment, fright, a situation that--where fear just

rises up all over you. That's not the fear that's so

dangerous. The fear that is truly dangerous is the fear

that's living in you. GLORIA: The one you meditate on.

KENNETH: Worry. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Talking fear, talking

death all the time, "Oh, I'd never do that." When you preach

Mark 11:23, that you have what you say, and so you stand up and

say, "Glory to God. The Scripture says that He has taken

sickness from the midst of me. I'll never be sick another day

in my life." That--there are Christian people that just

cringe when you say that. And here's why. Listen to me. I

know, I've had them say it to me. "Don't you know the devil

will hear you?" See, we have to whisper in his presence. GLORIA:

We're in reverence. KENNETH: As if he can't hear you when you

whisper. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Come on. But, see, fear is

faith. And people are afraid the devil's going to attack them.

They feel the same way about God. They think God's going to

attack them. And-- GLORIA: Fear is faith in the wrong thing.

KENNETH: Yeah, it is. It's a form of faith. Well, it was

Adam's faith to begin with. When it got twisted, it turned into

fear. Fear is faith in something that can hurt you or harm you

like faith--fear of a storm or fear of a snake or--but we ought

not even be fear of snakes. The Word of God says you

can--serpents don't have any authority over you. Anyway, I

was just in the dental chair one day getting my teeth cleaned.

And the two girls that were assisting the dentist--I

could--you know, they were back there talking behind me, and one

of them said, "How was church yesterday morning?" "Oh, it was

so wonderful," she said. "I'm telling you--I'm telling you

Pastor So-and-so preached a message on patience." And she

said, "I tell you," she said, "I asked God to give me patience."

That other girl said, "You better take that back. You pray

and take that back." She's talking about taking back a

prayer you prayed. She said, "Why not?" "There's no telling

what God will do to you, you ask for patience." GLORIA: (Laughs)

That's pitiful. KENNETH: Oh, I was--you know, I had to do this

just to keep my mouth shut. I'm not--I'm bound and determined

I'm not going to meddle in that pastor's business here but, oh,

I wanted to. And then I did say something about it later, but

not like what I wanted to. But that's fear. GLORIA: Yeah.

KENNETH: That's the wrong kind of fear of God. The Scripture

tells us to fear God. And we're not talking about being

frightened of Him. Fear in total absolute reverence-- GLORIA:

Yes. KENNETH: --and awe of Him. He is so magnificent. But love

does no ill to its neighbor. And God is love. Therefore, love

does no ill to His family. Now, let's go-- GLORIA: That's right.

KENNETH: --let's get back. I want to go back over there where

we were yesterday in Mark 11. Believe the love, have faith in

the love. And that comes only by the laws of faith. Verse

20--Verse 22, 11:22, "Jesus answering said unto them, Have

faith in God." Well, as we said yesterday, He said, "Have faith

in love." "--that whosoever shall--For I say unto you,

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and

be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart--"

not his head, in his heart "--but shall believe--" here's

what you're supposed to believe "--that those things which he

says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when

you pray, believe." When? When you pray. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH:

When do you start saying? When you pray. When do I start

believing I receive my healing? When do I start believing He

loves me? When I say it. Not when I feel it. That's mental.

That's physical, flesh. No, you--it has to be changed before

you can feel it. If you're trying to wait till you feel it

before you change it, you're trying to feel something that

isn't even there yet. Ha-ha. Amen. You may have to go back

and look at that to get what I said. "Therefore I say unto you,

What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe you

receive them, and you will have them. And--" All this is tied

together. "And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have

ought against any." I don't care how ugly and mean any--I don't

care what they did to you. I don't care what horrible thing

that they did to your family. I'm going to tell you right now,

if you turn loose of love, what they did to your family, it'll

destroy you, it'll destroy the rest of your family, it'll

destroy everybody around you. Until you let go and forgive,

you're blocking God out of the whole situation. GLORIA:

"Forgive, if you have ought against any." KENNETH: Against

any. GLORIA: I mean, that covers it right there. KENNETH: Every

"any," everybody. GLORIA: "Yeah, but you don't know what they did

to me." KENNETH: I know what he's still doing to you. GLORIA:

It's under that. You're still under that. Yeah. KENNETH: It's

still happening to you. GLORIA: Anything. KENNETH: They can

already be--they--that person that murdered one of your love

ones could have already been executed and gone. GLORIA: Or

could already be born again. KENNETH: Well, let me tell you,

yeah, yeah. Because I baptized a serial killer in the county jail

in San Antonio, Texas--became a real good friend of mine. And I

had the opportunity to see to it that he developed--and I was

there--developed spiritually. He got everybody on death row born

again. They were calling it life row. GLORIA: You know, I spent

several hours with the girls on death row, serial killers, some

of them family serial killers, at least one of them was. And

others killed multiple people. They went to prison, they got

born again. They're not a serial killer anymore. KENNETH: No,

that's not the same person. GLORIA: Their spirit's been

changed. KENNETH: And here's why. "Well, Brother Copeland, I

just can't accept that." You better accept that because, see,

Jesus already went to hell for that sin. No use in them going

to hell for it. Now, if they refuse to see Him as Lord,

they're going to hell for it. But if you accept Jesus, He's

already paid your price for that sin. Now, love did that for you

because He's doing everything He can, number one, to get you into

heaven with Him. He's doing everything He can to bless you

and work with you and keep you. If you don't forgive, you're

blocking Him. All your praying is just--is just like walking

outside and just scattering to the wind. GLORIA: Faith works--

TOGETHER: --by love. KENNETH: And until you get over there in

that, it's just not working. It's not God refusing you, it's

you refusing Him. Now, here's what I want to show you. Ha-ha.

This is so good. Let's go over--I'm talking about saying

it now. Say it, "God loves me." (Gloria Repeats) "God loves me.

I believe the love. I have faith in Him. And I have faith in His

love. He loves me regardless. I believe that." Now, in the 13th

chapter of John's gospel, I want you to see something here

about--you know, the Apostle John is called the gospel

of--the apostle of love. GLORIA: Yes. KENNETH: He had a

revelation of this. He had a revelation of it when the others

didn't. Before Jesus went to the cross, he had a revelation of

the fact that Jesus loved him and that he loved Jesus. But I

wanted to show you how he developed that. GLORIA: Okay.

KENNETH: Now, you have to realize--oh, this is big. Now,

get this. Jesus demonstrated to them again and again. He stood

there and taught them by that fig tree and He said it again

and again. He said it. Luke recorded it. When He's talking

about, "Increase our faith," He said, "If you had faith as a

grain of mustard seed, you would say." And He taught it, and He

taught it, and He taught it, and obviously John got it. Now, I

want you to notice this. In the 13th chapter--let me check the--

GLORIA: A new commandment? Is that-- KENNETH: No, the 23rd

verse of the 13th chapter. Or have I got that--yeah, the 13th

chapter of John and the 23rd verse, "Now there was--" Well,

let me back up here a little bit. Verse 21, "Jesus had thus

said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily,

verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. The

disciples looked on one another, doubting of whom he spoke. Now

there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom

Jesus loved." Now, you can--you go ahead and read the rest of

the book of John, and it just tells you that it's John

speaking about himself, but I want you to know how he put it.

Look what he said. See, John's writing this. So listen to what

he writes. "--leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom

Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that

he should ask who it should be of whom he spoke," the one

that's going to betray us. So here's--John is so free with

Jesus. He's got such an intimate relationship with Him. He--it is

such a bond between the two of them. Gloria, he's the only one

that didn't break and run when they took Jesus into that--into

that tribal hall. John went in there with him. Peter sat

outside and denied him. Now, notice--so Peter came up and

said, "Ask Him who it is. Ask Him who it is." "He then lying

on Jesus' breast said unto him, Lord, who is it? Jesus

answered." See, Jesus answered him. There's a relationship

there. Now then, let's go on down to the 9th--let's go to the

19th chapter, Verse 26. This is at the cross. Verse 25, "There

stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister,

Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus

therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom

he loved--" GLORIA: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: You see how he's--he

says it. He says it in his writings. He says it. He's

saying it, "Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me." And he writing

it by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. And we pick up on it

right there and we say it, "Jesus love me." GLORIA: Yes.

Jesus loves me. KENNETH: I'm the disciple that Jesus loves. I'm a

child-- GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: --that Jesus loves. GLORIA:

Praise God. KENNETH: Jesus loves me. And dwell on it and think

about it and meditate on it. Read these scriptures and go

over it, over it. "He said to his mother, Woman, behold thy

son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And

from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home."

Now, what does that indicate to us? Jesus trusted him because he

had experienced--I'm talking about John. John had experienced

His love, and Jesus knew it. He knew he had a revelation of it

and He turned him--turned His mother over to the one that

loved. And he took care of her for the rest of their lives.

GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: Amen. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: Now

then, we'll go on over to the 20th chapter, and we'll look at

the 2nd verse. "The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene

early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulcher, and seeing

the stone taken away from the sepulcher. Then she runneth, and

cometh to Simon Peter, and the other disciple, whom Jesus

loved." See what he's doing? He continues to confess that, "I'm

the one Jesus loved. I'm the one Jesus loved." And then you look

at the 7th verse. 6th verse said, "Then cometh Simon Peter

following him--" John outran him "--and seeth the linen clothes

lie, and the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with

the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself."

Praise God. So the two of them ran in there. But the point that

I wanted to make of this, there's a situation here with

Peter. Peter had denied Jesus. And think about what he did. He

wept. He wept and he wept. GLORIA: Condemnation overcame

him, overtook him. KENNETH: Oh, he wept and he wept and he wept.

We've just got a few seconds. I'll introduce this to you now.

Do you remember after Jesus raised from the dead and they

went fishing again and they didn't catch anything? He said,

"Throw your net over on the other side of the boat?" And

they did and caught a load of fish. And Peter said, "It's the

Lord." Man, I mean, he just jumped in the lake and swam

ashore. And after they had dined, Jesus asked him three

times, "Do you love me, Peter?" "Lord, you know I love you." But

they were using two different words. Jesus said, "Do you agape

me?" Peter said, "You know I phileo you," "I feel love for

you." Jesus said, "Yeah, but do you love me?" And He asked him

three times, and it grieved him because He asked him three

times. He said, "You know all things. You know I love you." He

got the revelation of it right there and lived his life--

GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: --knowing the love of God.

Gloria and I'll be back in just a moment. GLORIA: Amen.

Walking in Love Always Reaps a Reward with Kenneth and Gloria Copeland (Air Date 6-30-17) - Duration: 23:00.

RONALD WALKER: We're so grateful for this ministry.

The things that they've taught us, I've grown

up so much under Kenneth Copeland Ministries

as far as my faith and as far as the Word of God.

You know, it just took me to another level in God.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for me.

I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: Rise to a higher level of faith as you

let the love of God lead you. Join Kenneth

and Gloria Copeland on today's Believer's

Voice of Victory, and develop your faith to overcome

any challenge you face. Now here are Kenneth and Gloria.

KENNETH: Hello, everybody. We're Kenneth and Gloria Copeland.

Father, thank You for Your Word, today.

GLORIA: Thank You, Lord. KENNETH: We are so thrilled.

Oh, it's so good to know that You love us and--

GLORIA: Thank You, Lord. KENNETH: --You are--Your

mercy endures forever. And we thank You and we praise You for

it in Jesus' name. Amen. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: Glory to God.

Last two weeks, we've been here at our place in southwest

Arkansas. And it's just been such a good time. The weather's

been so good. GLORIA: Perfect. KENNETH: There's been times

we've--do you know--did you know this is the 29th year since we

started this? GLORIA: I was only 30 years old. KENNETH: Yeah, I

realize that. (Laughs) Amen. GLORIA: 29 years? It does--it

seems more like five or six. KENNETH: This is the--this is

the 29th year. And--but it's been such a joy all these years.

And if you've missed any of the broadcast, you know you can go

to kcm.org and see them there. And, oh, by the way, don't

forget to download the notes. You need to be doing that

because you can use the notes off--did you know that the

broadcasts that Gloria and Pastor George Pearsons have

done, there's over-- GLORIA: Think about it. KENNETH:

--1,200,000 downloads-- GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: --of the

outlines on divine prosperity? You talk about a body of work

concerning prosperity. GLORIA: He did a great job. KENNETH:

It's just marvelous. Well, these--that's the-- GLORIA: And

also that shows you what people are needing right then. KENNETH:

Hungry for. They need to know it. Well, knowing about the fact

that God is love and love is God, and God planned all of this

for us, and He--God wants you rich. "I don't know, Brother

Copeland. 'Rich' is going a little too far." No, it doesn't

go far enough. GLORIA: It's just another word. KENNETH: It

doesn't go far enough. It's a Bible word. If you only knew

what rich is--ha-ha-ha. Amen. Read the Word of God. It'll tell

you. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: Hallelujah. Praise God

forevermore. You can tell I'm already excited about this.

GLORIA: We dared them to do a study on "rich" in the Bible.

KENNETH: Absolutely. Get those downloads and do a study on God

and His people being rich. GLORIA: And then let it in. Woo!

KENNETH: In fact, there's a statement in the book of

Deuteronomy where God said, "There should be no poor among

you." GLORIA: I remember that. I agree with that. Praise God.

KENNETH: That's the way the Living New--that's the way The

Living Bible translation-- GLORIA: What a great Word.

KENNETH: "There should be no poor among you." Why? They had a

blessing covenant with God. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH:

Hallelujah. GLORIA: Praise God. That's good. KENNETH: All right.

Let's go back to I John. We'll read our golden text. In I John

4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." Now

we'll go to the 15th verse. "Whosoever shall confess that

Jesus is the Son of God," who is love, "God," who is love,

"dwelleth in him, and he in God," who is love. "And we have

known and believed the love that God," who is love, "hath to us.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in

God, and God in him. Herein is our love--" Let me--let me help

you with that now just a little bit. "Herein is the love" of God

that's in us, see? Romans 5:5, "The love of God has been shed

abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost." If you're born again,

He's in there. Now--so catch it now. "Herein is the love"

of God that is in us. My cross-reference says, "love with

us." "Herein is the love," of God that's in us, "made

perfect." Now, the love is already perfect because it's

God. But it begins to perfect on the inside of us. If you read

this whole book--it's only five chapters long. Read it every day

for about a month. I've been doing this for weeks and weeks

and weeks and weeks and reading it every day before I read my

other--my other chapters and so forth. But--and grasp this, the

revelation that He's love and He loves me. Hallelujah. GLORIA:

Praise God. KENNETH: Now, "Herein is the love," of God

that's in us, "made perfect, that we may have boldness in the

day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love--" There is no fear in God.

Therefore there is no fear in me. Praise God. Why? Because,

"Perfected love casteth out fear." Why? "Because fear hath

torment," and He doesn't want you or me tormented about

anything. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: Torment is worry. Worry

is torment. That's the devil's ground. It's the devil's

business. He's the tormentor. Now, the torment is in the fear.

GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Remove the fear and the torment's gone.

GLORIA: You can't have worry and faith at the same time. KENNETH:

Now, just as an illustration here. If fear is present, the

tormentor, who is the spirit of fear, has something to connect

to. Now he can torment you. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: But if

that fear is not there, he doesn't have a handle to grab.

GLORIA: That's good. That's a good way to say it. KENNETH:

Because the torment is in the fear. It's in there. GLORIA:

Yeah. KENNETH: So now then, we're talking about having faith

in that love. So let's go back over to Mark 11:22, "Jesus said,

Have faith in God." Well, yeah, but He said, "Have faith in

love." Yeah, but He said, "Have faith in God." Well, we're

talking about developing faith in the love of God, learning to

trust the love, learning to trust His mercy. I don't care if

the devil and the church and everybody else tells you that

God put that on you. Trust is love. You know good and well

He's not going to do that to you. "Love worketh no ill to his

neighbor," the Scripture says in the 13th chapter of Romans.

Well, hey, then love is God. God worketh no ill to His family--

GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: --or anybody else. GLORIA: Yeah.

Praise God. KENNETH: Now, "For verily I say unto you, That

whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and

be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,

but believe that those things which he says shall come to

pass; he'll have whatever he says. Therefore I say unto you,

What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe you

receive them, and you shall have them. And when you stand

praying, forgive, if you have ought against any." Now, that's

the laws of faith. So if we're going to believe the love--if

we're--and believe--if we're going to transform and renew our

minds to that, then we're going to have to start saying that,

"God loves me. Glory to God. It's--God--He loves me. He's

commanded me to walk in love and I'm doing it." GLORIA: Yes.

Amen. KENNETH: I'm going to do it whether I feel like it or

not. Love is not a feeling. God's a--love is a person.

GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: Amen. GLORIA: Now, knowing the love.

Let's talk about that. Let's go to Ephesians 3, and let's go to

the 14th verse. I want you to hear this like you've never

heard scripture before in your life. Verse 14, "For this cause

I bow my knees unto the Father." I bow my knees unto love. Isn't

that good? KENNETH: Yeah, that's good. "The Father of our Lord

Jesus Christ, of whom," of the Father, "the whole family in

heaven and earth is named, That he--" Who's He? God, the Father,

who is love. "--would grant you, according to the riches of his

glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner

man; that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith," which

worketh by love, "that you, being rooted and grounded in

love--" ah-ha, rooted and grounded in it. GLORIA: Rooted.

KENNETH: "May be able to comprehend with all the saints

what is the breadth, the length, the depth, and the height; and

to know the love." GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: That's God.

To know God. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: To know, to understand,

comprehend. The word translated "comprehend" goes further than

just having a basic understanding of it. And the

illustration that I enjoy using, because it's so easy to

understand--just about everybody watching us, Gloria, understands

right now you can go down and buy a ticket and get on an

airplane and go somewhere. I mean, it's that simple. Now,

if--you understand that. But the difference--I understand that

also, but the difference is I've studied it to a higher degree

and I can fly the airplane. Now, by being able to fly the

airplane, I'm not limited to where somebody else is going. I

can go on my own. Now, by having just additional knowledge and

spending more time with it, it took me up to a higher level.

GLORIA: Yep. KENNETH: Now, let's read this again. "That Christ

may dwell in your heart by faith; that you, being rooted

and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend--" "may have

working knowledge" is a good way to say it. "--may be able to

comprehend with all the saints--" saints, there is every

born-again person, everybody. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: So all

the whole Body of Christ, this is available to you, not if you

don't get rooted and grounded in love. You'll never have any

depth of understanding unless--like, I had to go spend

time training. I still train. I've been flying for well over

50--I was flying already before I even met Gloria. And this is

our 55th wedding anniversary, so that tells you something. I've

been flying a long time, and I still study it. I have to to

stay current in it. I have to go back to training. I have to stay

with it all the time. Now, that's what He's talking about,

being rooted and grounded in love. GLORIA: How many hours

have you got? KENNETH: Oh, I don't know. GLORIA: 3,000?

KENNETH: No, I got several times more than that. GLORIA: Well, I

got 60. KENNETH: (Laughs) May I correct you, darling wife?

GLORIA: What? KENNETH: You have 85. GLORIA: Okay, I've got 85.

KENNETH: (Laughs) GLORIA: Now, would you all ride with me? No.

You'd go with Kenneth. KENNETH: Oh, my, my. GLORIA: He's got

more time. KENNETH: Well, and that's it, see? GLORIA: You're

proficient in it. KENNETH: You spend more time doing a thing,

you're supposed to find out more about it. GLORIA: That's right.

KENNETH: You spend more time with God, loving God and

practicing loving all the time. Practice it, practice it,

practice it. GLORIA: Yeah, that's right. KENNETH: "No, no,

no, no, I can't say that. I can--no, I don't dare say that.

Hmm-mm. That's not lovely." And you just keep working. You just

keep working. And some-- GLORIA: That's right. Correct yourself.

KENNETH: --some wicked things comes across your mind, even if

you flare up, don't get offended. When Jesus said, "The

sower sows the word." "Satan comes immediately" to steal the

Word that was sown." "These are they by the way side, where the

word is sown--have no root in themselves." Now, we know this

is what He's talking about because-- "and immediately they

become offended." GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: So in order to not

become offended, you would have to be rooted and grounded in

love. GLORIA: That's right. Praise God. KENNETH: And that

means you're going to have to spend some time in it, and

you're going to have to spend some time praying in tongues.

"Well, Brother Copeland, what does that got to do with it?"

Well, I'm glad you asked that. I'm going to turn over to the

book of Jude. What chapter, Brother Copeland? (Laughs) Amen.

Thank You, Lord. And I'm going to look at Verse 20. "But you,

beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying

in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God,

looking for the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ." GLORIA:

Praise God. KENNETH: So think what I say--look what he's

saying here. When you're praying in the Spirit, especially about

this, the wisdom of God is on the inside of you. The great

teacher is on the inside of you. Jesus, the Spirit of love

Himself is on the inside of you, living there. Now, when I'm

praying, the Scripture says, "A person that prays in other

tongues speaks not unto men, but unto God...howbeit in the

spirit--in the spirit, he speaketh--" Then it says when he

prays in tongues, he edifies, builds up, himself. That's what

Jude was referring to, building your spirit up in your most holy

faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. GLORIA: Yes, amen.

KENNETH: Keep yourself in love. I'm going to tell you something.

With God on the inside of you, who is love--oh, Lord, thank

You. Glory to God. Ooh-wee, I'm so glad you reminded me of this.

Mm, mm, mm. I get so excited about this. 16th chapter of

John, 13th verse, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is

come, he will guide you into all truth: for he'll not speak of

himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: he

will show you things to come. He will glorify me: for he shall

receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the

Father has are mine." You can read that like this: "All things

that the Father," who is love, "has are mine: Therefore said I,

he shall take of mine, and show it unto you." That means we have

access to everything Jesus has, everything God has, everything

God knows! And that's everything! I'm telling you,

darling heart, if you can pray in tongues long enough, you can

find out anything that God knows about your life, anything you

need to know about your life. You just stay before him and

practice love and walk in love. And if you get out of love,

repent right on the spot. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: Repent to

the person you're talking to. Humble yourself. Glory to God.

And pray in the Spirit. Help me with this Lord (Praying in the

Spirit) Help me develop the love of God. Oh, God, show me the key

issues. Show me the trouble spots. Help me with this.

GLORIA: Yes, Lord. KENNETH: (Praying in the Spirit) I

believe I receive now. While I pray in the Spirit, I believe I

receive while it's still a mystery. I believe that I

interpret. I believe You will get this through to me. You'll

get it in my heart. You'll get it in my mind. GLORIA: Praise

You, Jesus. KENNETH: It is working for me right now. Love

is working in me and love seeks my victory. Love seeks me to

triumph! Glory to God. Amen. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH:

Everything I need to know about this terrible financial

situation, just start praying in the Spirit and don't quit till

it comes. When the United States--a member of the United

States Senate attacked certain churches and so forth and

attacked our ministry and--oh, it looked dire there for a

while. And then nobody knew what to do about it. It--you know, we

did what the law and all of that says of course. I just kept

praying in the Spirit, and we just kept praying and believing

God, just kept praying and believing God. And after--it was

considerable months went by, all of a sudden one day, I mean, God

just, "clukk," dropped that. I would have never--like, one

person said, "I'd have never thunk of that." Boy, I wouldn't

have thought of that. In my own natural mind, I would have never

even thought--never had any idea. He told us exactly,

exactly, exactly what to do. And it was--it had such an impact on

the office of that senator. It had such an impact on their

staff. It had such an impact. There was no way. There was

no--they had no defense for it, it was such an impact. And

they--you know, they were wanting all this information

about our ministry and all of that, and that information was

confidential information with--that was held by the

Internal Revenue. And so we--here's what the Lord told me

to do, said, "You have your son, John, take all of the

information that the senator has asked for and take your

television cameras and take the news camera from the CBS outlet

there in Dallas and go over to the Internal Revenue office in

Dallas and hold that up there before them and say, 'Now, sir,

here's all the information that you asked for and here is a

letter inviting the IRS to come in and audit our ministry any

day that they choose.'" That did it. That ended it. What else are

they going to say? The wisdom of God. GLORIA: The wisdom. You

know, you never heard from that again, did you?

KENNETH: No. They just wrote a little article in the

back of the paper that said, "We found no--we--"

GLORIA: A much smaller article than the original one?

KENNETH: Yeah. (Laughs) GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Watch this.

RONALD WALKER: When we first got to St. Thomas in '97,

at the time we got there, they used to have what

they call Prayer Supplication Day and Thanksgiving

Supplication Day. Well, they were supposed to be

holidays for the government. It was a government holiday where

people were supposed to pray against hurricanes in July. And

in October, when we have Thanksgiving Supplication Day

where we'd thank God, you know, thank God for no hurricanes,

nobody was praying. Everybody was going to the beach because

it was a holiday, so everybody's off work. SHARON WALKER: The

Lord spoke to me and said, "When you get there, I want you to

begin to pray in the middle of the island--" We didn't know

where the middle of the island was. "--against hurricanes and

earthquakes." And that's what we did. RONALD: That's what we did.

SHARON: Mm-hmm. RONALD: So we had our first one that July of

'98. And we went Downtown St. Thomas at called Emancipation

Gardens. We had our speakers down there, and we danced, we

had praise and worship for like 45 minutes to an hour, and then

we--then I ministered the Word of God. And we left out of there

feeling good. That week, Hurricane George came through.

You know, other people on the islands were probably talking

about us saying, "What's that little church going to do now?

They went down in downtown--in the downtown of the city, or in

the middle of the city, made all this noise, and now we have

Hurricane George beating on us." There was a lot of wind, and all

of a sudden, it got silent. I mean, it was total silence, one

of eerie silence. And all we'd hear on the radio is, "We lost

the eye." The eye regrouped and hit Puerto Rico and caused a lot

of devastation in Puerto Rico. It actually jumped over St.

Thomas and hit Puerto Rico. SHARON: The headline of the

newspaper said, "By Some Miracle." George hopped over our

island and went to Puerto Rico. (Laughter) "By some miracle,"

right? We knew it was God. RONALD: Mm-hmm. So I got in the

pulpit that Sunday. I said, "Well, God punched George in the

eye." (Laughs) "He couldn't see us, that's why." (Laughs) But at

that point, people's faith shot up. SHARON: Yeah. RONALD: And

now--you know, now, people actually believe we're not going

to have a hurricane, because I told them, "As long as we're

here, we're not going to see a hurricane, we're not going to

see an earthquake, and not going to see a tsunami." And our

record's been good for the last 20 years. We're so grateful for

this ministry. The things that they've taught us, we--I've

grown up so much under Kenneth Copeland Ministries as far as my

faith and as far as the Word of God. You know, it just took me

to another level in God. You've got to know who God is-- SHARON:

Yes. RONALD: --and trust that God's going to honor His word.

All you've got to do is use your authority and speak to it. And

we speak to hurricanes. They don't even come near us. They

don't touch us. And they will not come towards them, either,

or anyone if you just walk into it and speak what you believe.

SHARON: Saying what you have. Have faith in God. He's there.

He's our protection. He's everything we need. He gave His

Son so we could have everything. RONALD: Right. SHARON: And we

have everything. Once I know that I have everything I need

and He's with me, I can say what He tells me to say,

and that's the--another part to it is that I say

what He tells me to say. RONALD: Mm-hmm.

SHARON: And I see what I say. We have faith in God. Amen.

10 Games That Get Better With Age - Duration: 10:28.

Hey man, do you guys have a copy of that new game where I have the powers of superman and

have to save the world from an alien threat?

Yep, sure do.

That'll be a hundred and twenty dollars Wait what?

Since when have games been that high?

Well that standard edition is sixty, but you said with the powers of superman so I assumed

you wanted the season pass.

You don't get the powers with standard.

But that's what they've been advertising.

Well what do I get with the standard edition?

Oh, you get the first three levels right before the Aliens come down and your character develops

the powers.

That doesn't seem right.

I'm tired of all these companies charging extra for already over priced content.

You know there are plenty of companies out there that make one game at once price and

continuously update them for free right?

You should make a list about that.

looks over to the camera.

In a gaming market that's over saturated with season passes and expansions left and

right, I felt the need to bring some games into the light that go a different direction.

I'm talking about continuous free updates to keep the gameplay fresh and keep players

engaged for years.

The rules I set for the list are; No season pass.

Limited expansions.

And continuous free updates.

Here are the top ten games that prove that wine isn't the only thing that gets better

with age.

10.

The Forest The Forest is a game with an amazing concept.

You are in a plane that crashes in a forest where crazy cannibalistic people just so happen

to roam.

Once they hear or see you then they will begin tracking you.

They seem pretty docile at first until the sun goes down.

That's when they begin sprinting toward you, hitting you and sprinting away.

It's bizarre and so much fun to try and stay alive in this insane environment.

The alpha version of the game was released in 2014 and the updates are still coming in

constantly.

I haven't played the game since it's initial release and was shocked by just how different

it has become.

With that many free updates coming in at a constant basis I had to put this game on the

list.

If you can't beat them, join them!

9 Terraria I've heard so many people compare this game

to Minecraft it's crazy.

"It's like a side scrolling minecraft" You are wrong.

We can definitely draw comparisons between the two, but once you get past chopping trees

down and crafting items the contrast grows greatly.

In Terraria you don't worry about hunger and therefore growing crops or killing animals

for meat are out.

Your main purpose is exploration.

The developers have peppered secrets throughout each procedurally generated world.

From bosses to rare weapons to blast down enemies with magic, there are tons of things

to find within these worlds.

Holidays are a thing too.

If it's halloween then you will find goodie bags that you can open that fall off of enemies.

These bags can have a few things in them, but what I loved was the massive amounts of

costumes that you could get.

I'm a pretty princess.

This game has been constantly growing and updating since its release in 2011.

8 GTA V This is strange.

I have owned GTA V since its initial port to the PC and bought it again for the ps4,

but haven't played it much.

The single player is big and filled with things to do, but the things are never 100% and that

leaves me wanting more.

I tend to get bored of the game fairly quickly.

I haven't played a lot of GTA online and as I was researching for this list I'm now

thinking that maybe I should.

Rockstar has kept this game incredibly fresh with tons of free content updates.

There are over twenty updates that have given players free content post release.

So you can keep stealing cars and killing hookers for years and it never get old.

I take what I want!

Like your girlfriend!

Give it!

7 Overwatch I usually don't like competitive first person

shooters, but that's more because of the marketing techniques than the actual concept.

That and I'm terrible at these kinds of games.

I hate paying for a game and being forced to spend the same amount of money again within

the first month of it release in order to continue playing with the crowds due to the

fact that new maps are coming out.

Overwatch isn't like that.

Blizzard created a fun and quirky shooter with a variety of characters that is good

for the hardcore, must win at all costs players to the players who just want to have fun.

They have released free updates since the game's release and it doesn't appear to

be slowing down.

This will keep the game alive.

New characters, new interface, new maps, and more.

No season pass, no payed expansion, just free updates to keep players coming back.

Now that's how it's done!

Tracer, how you doing? (she likes girls) Tracer, how you doing?

6 Ark Survival game set in the future where you

have to hunt, tame and flee from dinosaurs?

Sounds interesting right?

You want to pay for the extra features when they come out?

Too bad!

You're getting them for free!

Ark was created by Studio Wildcard originally in 2015 but once the alpha stage was complete

it was repackaged as Ark Survival Evolved.

This is when I purchased it for the ps4.

I really liked it, but thought it was ugly and a bit awkward.

I is man.

You is dino.

How me tame you?

You be mine!

That's when a big update came in and polished the UI along with throwing in a bunch of new

dinosaurs to hunt.

These updates keep the gameplay fresh and always has me wanting to go back and play

it again.

I normally would have uninstalled the game from my ps4, but with constant updates coming

in I know that I'll be playing it again soon so I keep it on there just waiting for

me.

You'll be mine one day! ooh cheats!

5 No Man's Sky I, like many other games, bought this game

when it was released, was amazed for the first thirty minutes and then bored for the rest.

And I, like many other gamers, returned it either the same day or the next.

Hello games… more like goodbye games..

Ha!

Got em good!

But to Hello Games' credit, they have update No Man's Sky continuously until it's something

I'm interested in playing again.

The first larger update came in a month after the release of the game, when the hate trane

was still burning hot.

Seven months after the release, at this point most gamers had moved on to something else,

Hello Games released a pretty massive content update that added a lot of elements to the

game.

The updates haven't ended either.

I believe a lot of developers would have moved on and left this game behind as a mistake,

but not Hello Games.

They admitted fault, but didn't drop their vision.

Now No man's Sky has turned out to be a decent game that we should all, including

me, give another chance.

It's never going to be the ultimate space exploration do anything you want kind of game

they tried to market it as, but it is turning out to be a game worth owning.

Hello games, I was just kidding before.

4 Stardew Valley I love the Harvest Moon games and had been

wanting a new game in that style for a long time.

why is this entertaining to me?

I'm just weird.

I didn't think it was going to happen and then I seen the popularity of Stardew Valley

kick up on Steam.

I purchased the game for my pc and fell in love with it.

This was amazing!

Better than any Harvest Moon game I had ever played.

The creator, Eric Barone, could have taken the success as a sign to move on and create

something else quickly before the internet forgot about him, but he didn't.

This game is his child of creation and he didn't want it to fade away for the next

fad to come in.

Instead he proved that the game was something worth staying with.

He updates Stardew Valley with a ferocious speed.

It's now out on console, which I also purchased and the last I heard, he was wanting to make

it multiplayer.

Eric, you are the kind of developer that others should look up to.

You should be a chapter in game developer's study books on how to treat your fans.

Good job!

So uhhh… want to dance with me this spring?

3 Diablo 3 Ok, so Diablo 3 does have an expansion pack

out and another one on the way, but the constant content updates given to us is enough to put

this game on the list.

From drastic changes and balances like taking the auction house out to the never ending

additions of spells, weapons and armor, Blizzard has, once again, created a game they want

to stay in the focus.

To be honest it makes perfect sense.

Why make a new game every year when you can just keep updating the one you already have?

It costs a lot of money to create a brand new game, even if you use the same game engine

cough cough call of duty.

It's more cost effective to keep your player base happy right?

I have a kind of funny past with this game in particular.

I watched a friend play it and that convinced me to purchase it on pc for myself.

Wow this game looks amazing!

I played for about an hour, hated it and moved on.

Wow this game is repetitive garbage!

About six months later I decided to try it again and I guess it was just the right time

for me, because this time I fell in love.

What kind of witchcraft are you casting on me!

Once I purchased a ps4 I bought the console port and level capped another character.

Wizard, I love wizards.

2 Garden Warfare 2 It's not often that I'll pay sixty bucks

for a game and feel that it is completely worth every penny.

Even the big triple A marketed toward adults games I feel are overpriced, but this one

went all out.

There is so much to do.

So many different game modes and so many secrets for you or the community to discover.

The ever growing content is amazing as well.

You earn in game gold that you can spend on sticker packs that can give you from anything

from vanity items to slap on your characters to a brand new character entirely!

They are always releasing new variants to the classes you can pick that have different

damage modifiers and attacks.

They have also given us free maps, game modes and objectives to complete so that it is very

rare for you to have to stop and wait for something new.

I've finally completed everything the game has to offer… oh no!

Another update!

1 Minecraft Of course Minecraft is on this list.

You can't have a list that talks about games with free updates to keep players engaged

and not mention it.

The game was released in 2009 and is still one of the most searched Let's plays on

Youtube.

Everyone owns a copy of this game.

Even non gamers know what Minecraft is.

You think it's because the worlds and people are made out of squares?

No. it's because it has never stopped growing since its release.

Once you purchase the game, all updates are free.

They are constantly adding elements to keep it going.

From game modes, weapons and creatures to the ability to play with people who are on

different devices, there are no signs of this game's success dropping anytime soon.

There were many more games with a constant supply of free content updates out there.

And a little advice from me.

If you find one, buy it.

It encourages the gaming industry to keep the trend.

Season passes have turned into thievery.

Season passes will cause a crash in the gaming market and it will be our fault if this happens.

We can't blame the corporations for doing what is profitable for them.

What we can do is take that profit away.

Anyway, what games did I miss?

Let me know in the comment section below and while you're down there hit that like button

and click on that subscribe button so that you don't miss my videos as they come out.

Thank you and have a great day.

Oreo Ice Cream Cake Recipe -Timothy In The Kitchen Episode 7 - Duration: 11:20.

hi guys Timothy Brusky on this episode of Timothy in the kitchen I want to show

you how to make an Oreo ice cream cake very delicious dessert best thing about

this cake is you don't have you don't even need a oven and its great

because its a non-bake recipe I enjoy baking this cake for family and friends

they enjoy this cake this is my favorite recipe because there is Oreo cookies in them

yeah whoo yum yum i love oreos cookies they are the bomb there is always a reason to have ice cream I thought why

not have two at the same time Oreo ice cream and ice cream here is what you'll

need you'll need vanilla ice cream you need caramel syrup then the chocolate

syrup then the peanut butter Oreos I like peanut butter but you can use your

ordinary oreos and you want there's all different kinds of flavors but - for the

peanut butter Oreo cookies I chopped walnuts and macadamia nuts first thing

you want to do is get a nine inch spring form pan you want to line it with

plastic it's the spring form pan because you can break this open end at

the forum and pull them from the pan that's why they call it spring form pan

and this makes it easier to take the cake out and once is set it's

perfection it's a very useful thing I would buy if I were you onwards

need a large bowl

right here take your ice cream make sure make sure the ice cream is left on that

room temperature for about 45 minutes

what the ice cream become nice and soft because you don't want that hard and mix

it in ingredient this is perfect right here make sure ice cream with a wood

spoon which we have right here won't get it all over the table we have it

hard you're not going to be able to do this make sure it is a wooden spoon and

this will also go back in the freezer anyways for about six hours before you

serve it their thats perfection right there next up

want to take your Oreos and your pan right here and you want to line them up

from the edges of the pan once you get the hang of this its really easy you can see

i call it perfection just like it will be a little difficult some of them might go in

and some of them won't and if the oreo cookies do not cooperate you give them a

karate chop this is going to be really neat because you will be able to cut

each slice and they are going to have a oreo right on the side of it that looks

good right there I think we are ready to go on to the

Crust now take them apart crust is on the bottom here you want to do take them

apart like so you can have them up face down whatever you

choose take apart I'm just doing each and every one up and down doesn't have

to be perfect I can't wait to have this ice cream it is good it's your ice cream

cake and you can have ice cream anywhere you want because it's your day be happy

besides no one's gonna see the bottom of it anyways the crust their

ice cream add in your caramel I already pre measured all of this add in your caramel that looks good

in your chocolate syrup next

next you're going to need a ziplock bag

tada this is how you're going to get frustration out of your life you have a

hard day at work you're angry at someone put some oreo cookies

in here i'll put them in the bag I'm going to get a pin

and i'm gonna whack them got all the frustration out and the course should look something like like this

is when you bite into the cake you want it to be able to taste the oreos and the ice

cream you're eating am I not right we want to eat all of it and we want to

taste it all and you want to add it into the ice cream most of these will go in

and then you want to sprinkle the top of the cake with these oh look so good

already I can't wait until we're not oh my god is it is it going to be good

wait until you make this you're going to find your reason to make these surprised

look keep an eye springform pan and pour in the middle at least some so I can eat

the rest there's also going to be a surprise when

they eat this cake now i'll you about it in a little bit here get your 9

inch spring form pan and you want to pour in in the center

I'm going to have the rest you gotta have the remaining left in the bowl you know

that that's always to rule in the house isn't it your rule in the house you leave whatever left for

you right right am i not right see how important it is to have it room temperature and melted because if you don't do it that way it will be

temperature and melted because you don't do it that way you know it will be hard

to do this later what you need now is your walnuts mixing it add in your

macadamia nuts you dont need a lot of them

showing you it's a little bit maybe quarter of a cup now gonna sprinkle on

toppings of this

next yes yes we're going to add in our maple syrup so like this like so looks good to me

how about you this plastic it's going to help enormously when you take it out now

we're going to put it in the freezer for six hours I know it might seem a long

time but it is well worth it you are doing this it forms right and it

long time it sets right so if you try cutting it but it's not completely set it'll make a mess

I'm so excited aren't you this is the greatest part of

this whole thing let it set in the freezer for six hours and now we are

ready to put it in the freezer for six hours here we go it took six hours see

how easy the plastic wrap makes it for you I'll show you

see how easy the plastic makes it for you underneath

this is very easy to do

just like that

now we can't really see it but its in here for each oreo cookie throughout the slice

doesn't that look gorgeous ice cream cake that's how it looks like when it's done when you have

a paper lining and no muss and you must leave it sit for six hours I hope you

enjoy spending time with me today in the descriptions the whole recipe make it as soon as possible i hope to see you next time bye bye

The Sânziene Night | Noaptea de Sânziene (CC Eng Sub) - Duration: 6:39.

The Sânziene Night

is a Romanian celebration,

a ceremonial night full of ritual, superstition, and lore.

There are many beliefs surrounding this Night, especially the one of the Dance of the Iele

(Romanian Sprites) that will leave the one who sees them dancing mute and lunatic.

Another belief is that the flowers of the same name harvested and put in a crown would

bring good luck.

Sânzienele or Drăgaica, celebrated on June 24th, is a celebration of love and fertility,

connected to a series of rituals for the health of the people, abundance in the household,

and practices for the girls to find their beloved.

Sânzienele has its origin in a Roman cult for the Goddess Diana.

The name Sânziana, as the celebration is known, especially in Ardeal, originates from

"Sancta Diana", while in Muntenia and Oltenia people celebrate it as "Drăgaica",

which originates from its Slavic name.

According to some researchers, the celebration also has it's origin in a Geto-Dacian cult of the Sun.

They would often represent the Sânziene performing a Sun Dance (a circle dance).

The celebration itself is a result of the Roman-Dacian syncretism that took place on

the now Romanian territory in Antiquity.

A neolithic agrarian deity associated with the Moon, she is a protector of wheat fields

and of married women and has many names: Sânziana, Dârdaica, Drăgaica, The Empress, The Mistress

of the Sisters, The Queen of Lands, The Bride.

Also known as Do (possibly originating from Dochia/Old Dokia), she is born on March 9th

on Spring Equinox, and she becomes maiden on June 24th in time for Summer Solstice,

when the flower that bears her name is blooming for the first time that year.

She is summoned by maidens who prepare for marriage, and by wives who wish to get pregnant

through a spinning dance called "Do's Dance".

The Romanian people keep her as a memory of Diana & Juno, Artemis & Hera.

They say that during the Summer Solstice, she floats through the air, she feasts, she

sings and dances above forests and fields alongside her followers.

If she is disrespected on her very day of celebration, she will bring upon whirlwinds

and hail, curse the people with disease and take the scent and healing powers away from plants.

In the south of Romania, there is a tradition to choose the fairest girl in the village

to become Sanziana's vessel.

She is dressed as a bride, with a white gown and a crown made of Sanziene flowers on her

During the wedding ceremony, she gives fertility to the wheat, gives scent to healing herbs,

gives cure to the ill and the suffering, and predicts who will marry that year.

After Do's Dance, when even the Sun dances in its chariot at midday, the first signs

of summer turning into winter start to appear.

The days become shorter, the nights become longer, the wheat's root starts to wither

as the grain starts to ripe, and the constellation of the Hatching Hen and Her Chicks (the name

given to Pleiades by the Romanian people) appears in the night sky, the flowers loose

their scent and their healing powers, the birds stop their chirping, and the leaves

return to their roots.

The legends say that Sânzienele are beautiful girls that live in forests or fields.

They dance in a circle (the Sun Dance) and give magical powers to plants.

These good fairies, if properly celebrated, make the harvests abundant, give healthy children

to married women, they help birds and animals multiply, and heal the sick.

However, if people don't properly celebrate them, they get upset and become evil fairies

known as 'iele' or 'rusalii'.

Sanzienele appear only in gatherings at night, and always in an odd number.

An old folk belief states that they were beautiful maidens once, captured by Zmei (dragons) and

held captive in forests where no man has ever walked.

And during their night, they are unleashed.

Ielele, on the other hand, are said to be like playful maidens, with a great power of seduction.

It is believed that they live in the air, in forests, caves, on water shores, or at

crossroads, and they appear especially in moonlit nights, spinning in the Sun dance,

in withdrawn places, dancing naked, with loose hair and bells on their feet.

The place where they danced remains as if burnt by fire and the grass will no longer grow there.

The Sanziana flower is a landmark calendar, and a phytomorphic substitute of the maiden

goddess, mainly because of it's ability to bloom during the hottest and longest day of the year.

It is a yellow or white flower that grows at the edge of the road and in the woods.

It is often used in medicine, home made remedies and beauty rituals.

In the Summer, it is braided with grains for the sacred Solstice Crown that the girls wear.

After the celebration, the crown is placed above the people's gates, hung above their

doors, placed at crossroads or hung above someone's grave.

This crown has protective powers against the forces of evil.

If thrown above the roof of one's home, it can predict how the year will go for them.

And if put under the pillow of the girl who wore it that day, she will dream that night

of the man she will marry.

In this night, people make bonfires in which they throw substances with strong smells,

as the tradition goes.

The boys shake torches, called the Flame of the Sânziene; they shout and play the horns or pipes.

In some villages, they even jump through the fire to purify themselves.

In other parts, they remember the dead and plant flowers on their graves.

This celebration is considered the best moment to gather healing and disenchantment plants.

So, in the Night, girls gather and pick flowers and herbs that they would use against illness and evil.

Many other traditions for this Night are secret and performed within very small communities or families.

May you see the Iele tonight and keep your sanity!

Practice the Commandment to Love with Kenneth and Gloria Copeland (Air Date 6-27-17) - Duration: 21:29.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for me.

I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: God reveals His love for you through the covenant

promises in His Word. Today, on the Believer's Voice of Victory,

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland share about the goodness of

God's love and how you can actively receive from Him.

KENNETH: Hello, everybody. We're Kenneth and Gloria Copeland.

Glory to God. And we just love you and we

love-- GLORIA: Yes, we do. KENNETH: --God, and we're

so glad you're with us today. Father, we thank You and we give

You praise-- GLORIA: Thank You. KENNETH: --and honor for these

broadcasts. And we call upon You, Sir. You are our God Who is

love, and we thank You for loving us. We thank You for

giving Yourself to us. And, today, we thank You-- GLORIA:

Praise God. KENNETH: --for healing. We thank You for

deliverance. We thank You for manifestation of Your power.

GLORIA: Thank You. KENNETH: And we give You praise and honor,

and we glorify the name of Jesus. GLORIA: Thank You,

Father. KENNETH: And it's in that name we pray and believe

that we receive. Amen. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: Hallelujah.

GLORIA: So glad. KENNETH: Glory to God. Gloria? GLORIA: Yes,

sir? I'm trying to impress people how humble I am. Yes,

sir? KENNETH: (Laughs) Well, it's working. God, who is love,

is good. GLORIA: Oh, I know that's right. KENNETH: Love--I'm

talking about, God is love is God. God, then--Scripture says,

"He is good: and his mercy--" GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH:

"--endures forever." If God had that much bad in him, there

wouldn't be anybody alive. GLORIA: That's true. KENNETH:

You couldn't stand this sorry mess all over the entire earth,

going all night and day, just hearing billions of people

blaspheme your name. If you'd have had just that much bad in

you, you'd kill the whole mess a long time ago. GLORIA: You know,

one translation says "He's extraordinarily patient."

KENNETH: Oh, and "disposed to do favors." GLORIA: "To show

favors," that's right. KENNETH: He is love. GLORIA: Bless You,

Lord. KENNETH: Oh, Lord, we thank You for it. Glory, glory,

glory, glory, glory. GLORIA: We receive that this morning.

KENNETH: Let's go back over where we were now in I John. We

want to read these scriptures again if you would, please, in I

John 4. And we began with Verse 8, "He that loveth not knoweth

not God." Now, stop there just a moment. We're--and John is not

writing this book to the world. He refers to the world in it,

but he's talking to my little children. And in writing this,

"He that loveth not knoweth not God," well, you have to know God

because he's writing this to born-again people. He's writing

this to born-again, Holy Ghost-baptized people. GLORIA:

He's writing this--the first verse--word says, to his

beloved, his family. KENNETH: His beloved, so these are

born-again people. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: So they know God or

they wouldn't be born again. GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH:

But what he's talking about--you don't--you don't know who he is.

You don't really know him if you're not lover--if you're not

loving the brethren. That's what the book is about here. If

you're not practicing love-- GLORIA: God is love. KENNETH:

--you're not practicing--walking in the commandment of love. Now,

he just takes it for granted here and he talks about the

commandments. And he's talking about not just--he's referring

them to the Ten Commandments and all the associated commandments

with them. But he's referring also to the commandment of

Jesus, "Love the Lord God with all your heart, all your soul,

all your mind, and strength." And "love your neighbor as

yourself," and "love the brethren," in the 13th chapter

of John, 34th verse. "Love one another," or love the brethren,

"even as I have loved you." Now, Romans 5:5 says, "The love of

God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit--" GLORIA:

That's right. KENNETH: "--by the Holy Ghost." So that means He's

in here. So love is in here. GLORIA: We have the ability to

do that. KENNETH: We have the ability. We--all we have to do

is make the decision and practice. GLORIA: That's right.

KENNETH: Practice. You have to practice. Practice. Practice

makes-- GLORIA: Perfect. KENNETH: So that's what this is

talking about. "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is

love." Now, go with me down here to the 16th verse. "We have

known--" Now, see here, he said, "He that loveth not knoweth not

God." GLORIA: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: "And we have known and

believed--" GLORIA: Yes. KENNETH: --or had faith in, "the

love that God hath shown to us. God is love; and he that

dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is

our love made perfect." Now, he's not talking about

mental--he's not talking about love feelings. You can love when

you don't feel like it at all. Bless you, sweetheart. GLORIA:

(Coughs) Excuse me. KENNETH: Amen. You can love when--

GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: --you don't feel like loving at all.

The Greek word, "agape," they--the working definition of

it is--it's "love," and refers to the love of God, who is love.

But it's not an act of feelings. There's another Greek word

translated "love" that is natural human love. And of

course, in the English language, we don't have--we don't have two

different words to express it with. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: I

wish--I wish we did. But you have to--you just have to renew

your mind to it. And that Greek word "agape" is--God doesn't

love you because He feels like it; He loves you because he

decided to. He--then it's an act of your will. It is will love.

"I will--" Now let me put it like this. Give me your hand. It

is covenant love. "I give you my word I love you." Now, that's

what God has done for us. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: See,

we're reading His Word. He gives us his Word in agape. This is

what people in a marriage ceremony--this is what they're

supposed to be doing, is entering into a place of

covenant. And it's an act of will. If it's only an act of--

GLORIA: A bond. KENNETH: --feelings--yeah, yeah. It's the

bond of a promise and a covenant. Now, if it's only an

act of feeling, you're just getting married like that old

Johnny Cash song, "We got married in a fever"? Yeah, well,

it ain't going to last. GLORIA: In the fever. KENNETH: (Laughs)

Now, here's the thing, though. If you're just going by

feelings, somebody's going to let somebody down. I was so

impressed that when I--when I heard this, a man proposed to

his wife--Lord, may I enter into that? Yes, sir. A man proposed

to his wife and she said, "You will always be number one in my

life." He said, "I hope not because I'm just a man. And if

I'm number one in your life, I'll let you down. But if Jesus

is number one in your life, He'll never let you down." Isn't

that strong? Now, when a marriage is built on that, oh,

it--it's just like our marriage. Gloria and I--we both know this.

I know that Gloria loves Jesus more than she does me. She knows

that I love Jesus more than I do her. It's hard--I can't tell the

difference, really. GLORIA: No, really, there's no-- KENNETH:

But if it came down-- GLORIA: --competition. It's all one

thing. KENNETH: --if it came down to it, of course, I would

never deny Jesus for you, Gloria, my children or anybody

else, ever. But here's the thing, we both know that. And

what the Lord tells us to do is what we're going to do. Whether

it looks right to us, if it's in His Word, we're going to do it.

He loves us and His plan is so good for us. He is good and His

mercy endures forever because-- GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH:

--He is love. And he that is born of God loves. That's who we

are. And His love has been shed abroad, like I said, in our

hearts by the Holy Ghost, and to give us the ability to stand in

that commandment. Now, when--let's go here right quick

to the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy. And notice, "It

shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto

the voice of the Lord thy God, to--" and now, here--like I was

saying yesterday, right there, Gloria, the word, "Lord," is

capital L, capital O-R-D, "--thy God--the voice of the Lord," who

is love, "to observe and to do all his commandments which I

command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee high

above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall

come on thee, and--" GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: "--overtake

thee, if you'll hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God." And

I'm adding, "who is love." See, love plans to bless. That's His

whole life is to bless us. GLORIA: He put those--He spoke

those words to bless. KENNETH: That's the reason. GLORIA: It

wasn't afterthought. KENNETH: Now, people take the-- GLORIA:

That's what He did. KENNETH: --Ten Commandments wrong like

God just, "Boy, He's just limiting me, just putting me

down." No, no, no, no. Here--and if you'll read the whole

thing--don't just get a little copy of the Ten Commandments.

Read the book of Exodus. Here's what He was saying: "Don't have

some other fool god before me. They can't bless you." GLORIA:

That's right. KENNETH: "Hey, I bless you. Don't be stealing.

Don't be doing that. I'll give you more than you could steal--"

GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: "--if you'll live and walk with Me and

walk by faith." "Seek ye first the kingdom of love, and all

these things will be added unto you," Jesus said. GLORIA: That's

right. KENNETH: And then He said, "Don't be coveting that

man's wife. What's the matter with you, boy? I'll get your one

prettier than her. I got you something planned." Ask me how I

know. "I'll get you something planned that's so good." You're

going to thank God every day for it. I do. Amen. GLORIA: Just

prepared for you. KENNETH: Yes, sir. Yes, ma'am. GLORIA: Just

prepared. KENNETH: And when I finally got hooked up with God's

plan and married this woman here, I want you to know it

changed my whole life. It changed everything-- GLORIA:

Praise God. KENNETH: --about me. The blessing started that day.

Glory to God. Amen. GLORIA: Amen. KENNETH: So, here--that

was the whole idea in the Ten Commandments, is to get you

separated here. Now, here's another thing. You need to

understand this. If He gives you a commandment that, in your

flesh, you can't keep--and He knew that--then He's going to

also provide the way for you to be forgiven for breaking that

commandment. And that was the reason for the sacrifices. Don't

kill the man, kill the animal. And Jesus became the Lamb

sacrificed forever. GLORIA: Yes, thank God. KENNETH: Can you see

what love was doing? Love's figuring out a way to get His

man and woman back. Glory to God. We can--bless, bless,

bless, bless, bless. GLORIA: Yes, that's right. KENNETH: He

said, "I, even I, am he who blotteth out your transgressions

for my own sake, and remember your iniquities no more."

GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: For His sake, yeah. If He remembers

your sin, He can't bless you. Love wants to bless. GLORIA:

That's good. KENNETH: I just got a Texas way of saying that.

GLORIA: That's good. KENNETH: He's just eat up with it.

He--that's what grace is all about. GLORIA: He is love.

KENNETH: Grace is God's overwhelming love and desire to

treat you and me like sin ain't never even happened. Now,

there's a lot more commandments than the 10. God gave 10, but

out of that came--oh, there's just hundreds of them. Now, if

you're--if you keep them, here come the blessings. You won't

even have to ask for it. It's there and it'll just overcome

you. All right. Let's go over here to the 13th chapter of the

book of Romans. Oh, hallelujah. Glory be to Jesus. Listen to

this. Oh, I went to the I Corinthians instead of Romans

because we're going to--we're going to be over there after a

while. Romans 13:9, "For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery,

Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear

false witness, Thou shalt not covet; if there be any other

commandment--" Oh, you ought to underline that. You ought to

make little stars around it. Glory to God. "If there be any

other commandment--" Say it out loud. TOGETHER: "If there be any

other commandment--" KENNETH: "--it is briefly--" You can

understand it in a second. "--it is briefly comprehended in this

saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Because

love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the

fulfilling of the law." GLORIA: Praise God. KENNETH: What is

that? That's God fulfilling His own law so you could get

blessed. GLORIA: I had a thought that I never had before. Which

one of these would you be better off doing: Adultery, killing,

stealing, lying, coveting? All of those are bad things. They'd

work bad things in your life. KENNETH: Yes, sir. GLORIA:

They'd bring curse in your life. KENNETH: Yes, ma'am. GLORIA:

So-- KENNETH: That's kind of a no-brainer, isn't it? GLORIA:

That's a no-brainer, that's right. KENNETH: Think about

this: "Love," who is God-- GLORIA: Yeah, God is love.

KENNETH: -- "worketh no ill to his neighbor." Of course, it's

talking about us that, love worketh no ill to his neighbor.

That's what satisfies the law. I'm not going to steal from you

if I love you and so forth and so on. GLORIA: No. KENNETH: But,

God, who is love, can't possibly work ill for His children. And

this whole man-made, horrible idea that God is the source of

anybody's sickness or anybody's poverty or anybody's death--

GLORIA: That's right. KENNETH: --is hell manifest. GLORIA: You

know, God went to great lengths in the Scripture to show us the

curse these'll bring-- KENNETH: Yeah. GLORIA: --the things that

would bring curse into your life. He did that so that you

wouldn't do that. If you don't--if you don't do these

things, then the curse is not the result. If you do these

things that are a curse, you'll get cursed. It's already there.

I mean, it just--that's just the way it is. KENNETH: Well, you

know, you said if you keep walking the commandments of God,

all these blessings come on you-- GLORIA: Yes. KENNETH:

--and overtake you? In the 15th verse, He said, "If you will not

hearken to the voice of God--" and so forth "--all these curses

will come on you, and overtake you." GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: And

think about it like this. The moment Adam broke with God, the

curse was manifest. GLORIA: He disobeyed one rule that he was

given. KENNETH: Well, and it--but it was so serious.

GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: The fruit on that tree belonged to God. So

the fruit on that tree was his tithe and he stole the tithe.

And Malachi 3, it says, "You've robbed me." And they said,

"What?" And he said, "Tithes and offerings. You've stolen from

me. That belong to Me and you've been using it on yourself."

Anyway, the curse was everywhere. You couldn't go

anywhere that the curse wasn't there. So it has never gone

away. It's been overpowered. GLORIA: Yeah, that's a good

word. KENNETH: But it's never gone away. It's still here

because the devil is still here. Now, help me with this, Lord.

The devil didn't have to curse you by contacting you. All he

had to do was lead you to do and say the curse was there. It

just--I mean-- GLORIA: The Scripture says, "You do this,

and the curse will come on you." KENNETH: That's what's going to

happen. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: Because it's already here. And

what I'm--let me put it over on the blessing side and I believe

I can--I believe I can make it more clear. GLORIA: It might be

more pleasant. KENNETH: It's like this. "Blessed shall you be

in the city." Well, God didn't have to run down there where you

are in the city to bless you. No, His blessing has been

released. You do that and it's there. You do this, and the

curse is there. You do this, and the blessing is there. Now,

you're going to have to use your faith for it and walk in it, not

fret it. And stay in the love of God. GLORIA: No, but you've got

to find out about it. KENNETH: Amen. GLORIA: Yeah. KENNETH: And

we're out of time. GLORIA: Already? KENNETH: Yeah.

(Laughs) Gloria and I'll be back in just a moment.
