False Light And Living Light How To Tell The Difference - Duration: 4:54.

Violent Nightmares Are An Unconscious Warning of Brain Disease

BY Brett Tingley

Despite being a fairly common occurrence in many peoples lives, bad dreams and nightmares

still remain somewhat of a mystery to neuroscientists and psychologists.

It is believed that bad dreams could possibly be an unconscious reflection of trauma or

stress experienced during waking life, or perhaps even be an indicator of physiological

disorders like sleep apnea.

Now, new research by a group of Canadian neuroscientists has found that recurring violent dreams or

nightmares might be a mysterious warning sign the brain sends

to presage oncoming neurological disorders.

The study examined a number of sleep disorders grouped under the blanket

term REM Behavior Disorders (RBDs), which affect the areas of

the brain which control rapid eye movement (REM) sleep.

REM sleep is the part of the human sleep cycle in which the brain dreams.

In the study, it was found that an overwhelming majority of people who suffer from such nightmare-causing

sleeping disorders end up developing serious neurological conditions.

The research was presented at the 11th Annual Canadian Neuroscience Meeting.

The study found that for some mysterious reason, certain neurological disorders seem to first

affect brain cells related to REM sleep.

In a press release issued by the Canadian Association for Neuroscience, the studys

author Dr. John Peever from the University of Toronto claims that the correlation between

such sleep disturbances and brain diseases is surprisingly high:

We observed that more than 80% of people who suffer from REM sleep disorder eventually

develop synucleinopathies, such as Parkinsons Disease, and Lewy bodies dementia.

Our research suggests sleep disorders may be an early warning sign for diseases that

may appear some fifteen years later in life.

Understanding the link between the brains unconscious warning signs and neurological

disorders could one day better enable neuroscientists and other medical professionals to diagnose

brain diseases before they turn serious.

On a stranger note, if further research does indeed prove a link between dreams and developing

diseases, it really makes you wonder about the depths of our subconscious and about the

link between our minds and bodies.

If these bad dreams are a warning of sorts, what, or who, is sending the warning?

What You're Not Being Told About The Paris Climate Agreement - politics - Duration: 8:00.

What Youre Not Being Told About The Paris Climate Agreement

President Trumps decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Accord

has thrown the world into a blazing furnace full of weeping and gnashing of teethor

the political world, at least, has been thrown into a fiery tizzy.

The front page of the New York Daily News reads TRUMP TO WORLD: DROP DEAD, Decides

to hell with science, Earths future.

Former President Barack Obama broke his silence, saying, in part, that with this decision the

Trump administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future.

Former Secretary of State John Kerry lambasted Trumps decision as an ignorant, cynical

appeal to an anti-science, special-interest faction, as well as saying, This choice

will rightly be remembered as one of the most shameful any president has made.

And the list goes on and on and on.

To hear these people talk, apparently the human race can only progress into the future

and create new industries and technologies if we are flogged into it begrudgingly by

our wise government and corporate leaders.

Are we really ready to presume what human society will look like several decades from

now?

Are we seriously expected to believe that government action is the only way to tackle

the problem of climate change?

If we fail to use the heavy hand of government to brave the future, why should we assume

the human race will fail to innovate and adapt to complex challenges on its own?

Imagine, if you will, a world where you cannot turn to governments to solve problems such

as climate change.

How would you achieve your righteous ends?

Would you simply do nothing if you could not turn to government?

I ask because too often, noble goals serve as a Trojan Horse for political control.

Governments often present us with grand solutions as gifts for our real and perceived problems,

but once inside the gates, they proceed to saddle our communities with a slew of regulations,

mandates, taxes, diktats, quotas, subsidies, penalties and the like.

The cursed gift of government, it seems, is always a central plan that conflates voluntary

cooperation, collective action, and even community itself with centralized political control.

But we do not need the trappings of central planning to solve our collective problems.

Society can run itself, thank you very much; it needs no single creator or director.

Society already has great gifts for solving complex human issuesindividual liberty,

initiative, and ingenuity, along with the free and open exchange of goods and ideasand

we need not sacrifice these liberal benefactors of the modern world to dream impossible dreams

and fight unbeatable foes.

The greatest achievements of the human race have not come from government committees and

accords, but from intrepid yet everyday individuals working in concert to tackle the unknown and

implacable through innovation and persuasion.

Yet, rather than allowing people to freely choose and coordinate their own plans in our

common struggle against nature, too many people first brand other people as the problem.

Too many would rather rely on commanding and controlling others to fix humanitys wicked

problems than freely solve the problem themselves.

Too many conflate the governments failure to act as society signaling we are resigned

to do nothingthus, the weeping and gnashing of teeth over Donald Trumps recent decision.

I find all the hysterics and tears of hubris laughable.

This mindset deserves to be mocked for its lack of imagination and obsequious acceptance

of corporate cronyism and global governance as the only path to the future; it deserves

to be mocked for claiming the singular appearance of doing something (without much effect)

is better than actually tackling the problem from many different directions; it deserves

to be mocked even on environmental activist grounds as a list of empty promises and half-measures,

as a perversion of the cause, just as a free trader may mock NAFTA or an anti-war activist

may mock Barack Obama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize; and it deserves to be mocked

for how little it respects the ability of average people to change their station and

adapt to the changing world on their own without the pretentious prodding of government leaders.

Im willing to bet the existence of the entire human race that without the Paris Climate

Accord, we will rise to meet the challenge of climate change successfully.

Further, if we would shrink government generallyi.e. give average people the freedom to think and

trade as they wish in the energy sector or any other industrythen by the accords

own target year of 2100, the market (which is simply free people trading and producing

as they wish based on their own enlightenment) will have reduced carbon emissions and given

us new technologies beyond the wildest dreams of those now bemoaning the U.S. withdrawal

from the Paris Climate Accord.

In fact, the U.S. clean energy sector has grown leaps and bounds in only the last few

years despite the lack of a robust central plan.

Coal is already giving way to cleaner forms of energy and will continue to do so no matter

what Donald Trump promises the miners of West Virginia.

And the fact that there is this burgeoning clean energy industry does not mean we should

engage in crony capitalism and wealth redistribution between nations to prime the pump. Picking

winners and losers in the clean energy sector is just as bad as doing so in any other sector

(including the fossil fuels industry.).

Must we really kowtow to corporations and their client states by granting them government

privileges and sweetheart deals to create new technologies they already have enough

incentive to create anyway?

No, if we wish to solve the climate change problem, I suggest we try, first and foremost,

to create products and services that will actually make peoples lives better immediately

rather than imposing immense costs upfront with no clear time horizon wherein we reap

the benefits.

Just as one need not convince people of evolution before they take vaccines or life-saving drugs,

theres no need to convince people of the science of climate change if you can sell

them a better, cheaper, cleaner, and more practical way to power their lives.

Shaming, lecturing, and trying to control peoples behavior through the political

process for unclear results and opaque benefits is not serving this cause well, as sound as

the science and as noble as the cause may be.

Ironically enough, Trumps withdrawal from the Paris accord may very well usher in a

new era of initiative absent the federal government.

After Trumps decision, many industry leaders, mayors, and governors pledged to pursue solutions

to climate change absent the federal government.

As the CEO of General Electric Jeff Immelt tweeted, Climate change is real.

Industry must now lead and not depend on government.

Thats the spirit, Jeff, but my only question is: what the hell have you been waiting for?

Industry and the people of the United States should have been saying this long ago.

Its time to stop looking to central governments and global committeeswhether the issue

is climate change or poverty or education or whateverto make our world a better place.

The time for us to pursue the future ourselves is long overdue, and it would be a shame to

sell ourselves and the future short because were too busy bickering over political

power.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED The Senate Just Did EXACTLY What Everyone Wanted To Hillary Clinton - Duration: 2:09.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED The Senate Just Did EXACTLY What Everyone Wanted To Hillary Clinton

By Danny Gold

Do any of yall remember back during the election when Donald Trump told Hillary Clinton

that if he were President she would be in jail?

Well, guess what just happened today

The Senate is finally investigating Hillary Clinton for corruption.

The investigation will look into Clintons effort to impede a Bangladesh government corruption

probe of Muhammad Yunus, a Clinton Foundation donor and one of her close, personal friends.

Senator Grassleys official statement to current Secretary of State Tillerson read:

If the Secretary of State used her position to intervene in an independent investigation

by a sovereign government simply because of a personal and financial relationship stemming

from the Clinton Foundation rather than the legitimate foreign policy interests of the

United States, then that would be unacceptable.

Co-mingling her official position as Secretary of State with her family foundation would

be similarly inappropriate.

It is vital to determine whether the State Department had any role in the threat of an

IRS audit against the son of the Prime Minister in retaliation for this investigation.

See?

Hillary is finally where she should be.

Donald Trump said it was gonna happen, and now its happening.

Dont let the media get you down and say Its not like they are investigating

her taking bribes by foreign officials either.

Remember that they took down Al Capone on simple tax evasion.

This is amazing news and it is time to celebrate.

Sure, its not prison, but this is where it all begins.

Help share this news to any Republican or any Leftist you want to show the truth to.

Hillary Clintons time has finally come.

Chatty GRWM: A Sexy Blue Gothy Eye Look | Avelina De Moray - Duration: 25:11.

It's Avelina De Moray here, so I just thought I'd film another get ready with

me video today i'm filming quite a few videos i'm going to do a showcase of my

vampire art book i'm going to film the release called the drag making squads

which is very exciting and what's the thanks oh my god I'm so

tired I can't ever remember is this video the third one is yes the video

that I'm filming the intro for oh my god baby brain is real and they it seriously

does hang around for about two years after you give birth wow that was pretty

bad that was an epic fail okay so anyway yeah if you like this look I kind of

went with a really blue kind of silvery look I don't know what to call but yeah

I did I'm winged eyeliner but the fake lashes had to open up a new set or for

special day people read lips by Lime Crime so yeah if you like this look keep

watching I will talk some crap throughout the video and see you at the

end

hey everyone so Skip's foundation because who needs to see that again if

you are curious as to what I do for foundation and powder and stuff and the

previous get ready with me videos on my channel yeah I go through that to

license it in great detail so yeah now I'm just going to do and I look I'm

getting ready to film a bunch of videos today I am going to film the release

video for Jack Megan's handbag which is it's it's it's so beautiful I am so in

love like you guys have no idea I look at it and I want to buy it you know and

like I made it it's the kind of thing where I'm like if

I didn't make it I would be so over bond-buying that for me because like

it's so me and it's so Jack it's just like perfect collaboration of the two

about dark little souls I guess yeah so I'm going to do a kind of black look

this Chequers new and too tight and scratching me oh I'll see I'm going to

put some blue on my eyes and talk to you guys and I'm also going to film a video

on my output because I don't think many of you know that I actually like do odd

stuff like that besides all the designing channel orphanages from just

using Urban Decay's primer versions I'm thinking of you I'm going to use the

white mix um as a base because I want to do a really bright cut up that color it

today but I'm going to put these up the top feel really useful today I don't

know maybe I just got like a lot of sleep but when you have two kids there

are those days where you just like I cannot film today because I look like I

am 50 huh I'm definitely a wee bit away from being 50 hmm I guess so you need to

talk done the eyeshadow primer there and make sure you guys don't keep these for

too long feel like me and I tried us seriously I bought two of these back

when I went to America

and one I opened in 2013 and I should have I didn't do as much makeup for a

while so it lasted a long time and yeah it's gone all gluey and pasty and it

doesn't go this is creamy and soft and easy to work with so yeah the other one

is nearly empty but I must throw it out it doesn't work as well so if you're

having trouble with this product it's supposed to be like a really like creamy

consistency if it isn't maybe a bit a bad batch and just like take it back and

say hey this shit is old I think in one of my last get raised with me I was like

it's flaky it's like it's not blending I think that's what the problem was is

what that means you see oh I have to warm up as well I might do some singing

for you guys because seasoning yeah we're recording vocals for the

Sisters of Mercy color that we've been recording that also is sounding so cool

it's really good to get back in the studio you know obviously had a bit of a

break with that with having kids themselves as angels please definitely

got put on the back burner for a few years for them we're back so on the

brush people yes so I'm doing that tonight so I'll be all done up and I'm

feeling like a little behind the scenes of filming cover of this corrosion which

is cool so you get to see like the development of bonbons guitar solo me

recording vocals reamping the guitars and general mixing process yes that nice

little glimpse into what goes into I'm actually you know recording and

releasing the song gosh we haven't done a color like Oh didn't blown the brush

fun and I've been in like other bands and stuff like that together and now I'm

banned before we knew each other suffice for as angels bleed this is this is the

first cover we really haven't done a cover in a long time there's always been

thumbs we were like oh yeah we should cover that and then we just never get

around so we always write like a new original song and that just takes

priority but this is just sounding circle we were like we have to release

it so and we're even considering something

like a little video clip for so for you as angels lead fans keep doing it

yeah the Animus video clip is desire but I did want to put theirs this on the day

that we filmed desire which is like a live just a life normal band video clip

nothing seriously I'm just retarded sorry we we had another person come and

film a friend of mine Craig and he just filmed the dunnies iPhone seriously I

love the footage it's really creative so PK of doing like a Part B or take to

version 2 video clip for desire and the funniest thing is happening with all of

my youtube videos I've got like 10 copyright infringement

notifications from YouTube because I'm putting my own songs in my own video and

like you know YouTube isn't smart enough to know that they're mine

so they're unmonitored all of my videos thanks YouTube I mean it will go to our

publisher it's just fucking stupid they're taking it from column a and

putting it in corn B and like I said I'm an email going to these are my songs

like you don't have to do that but whatever is a good deal right Avenue

okay so I've got a bucketload white on there does it carry with it ah I don't

know if I should do oh girl I think about your address you're going to use

my angle brush again and I'm going to dip it into some more wood those magical

water that's just water check things out nothing's changed people just like a

light black color that I just get into and then I use the water because it

creates a really good point I feel like if you've been watching my videos and

you're watching this video that I don't want to talk through what I did because

I did that last time I just want to talk to you about what's happening in life

and stuff like that so I'm actually going to stop going over what I'm doing

here but on my path forward through the eyebrows because I can't it's like for

like 15 minutes without something so I'm just going to do my eyebrows will

possible through this and then keep something yellow you've got a bag

of shit for me that way we don't bury shit you want me but you got vocalist

yeah two months - man I got so well I'll bring close-up you'll know something

yeah my need to give you the food your buddy shit like me your money

uh yeah did you feel that it's like glamour top off bottom half is like

comfy home tights and ugg boots he alright back to my eyebrows good a

buffalo

okay so that's my brows done I might add some of the white eye eye eye shadow

primer with my fingertips and then I'm going to use which blue I think I will

use a blue from this palette serpentina smile

it's very vivid very bright electric one might say my favorite black matte black

is definitely carbon black it it is pretty deep heavily pigmented pretty

expensive but it lasts like forever I bought one ten years ago he Sue's it

and it just ran out and I bought that the second you can see like this that's

brand new so that love me another decade that I'm going to pop this on with a

common bad just because I think it's going to be a bit Nina that was way too

much whoops let's go with the slow people

yeah so I'm going to film a video on yeah my art book I'm super excited

because it's Black Friday's bags being like completely finalized I a bunch of

just like spiky rivets to it it looks so cool so I'm just about to pay for that

sample yeah not really it's so expensive oh that one won't be

too far from being released because I think Freya and I have decided that

we're going like the mock-up I did is so realistic I reckon it's not far off from

what it's actually going to look like you know as with most of the mock-ups

that I am show the people I work with since we're going to probably allow it

to be pre-ordered based upon my Photoshop mock-up look at those

three-dimensional simulation I guess of what I think the bag will look like

that'll be pretty damn similar so that's exciting because that means it can be

released kind of like six weeks earlier than actually waiting until the sample

and then I can start taking pre-orders yeah that's very exciting and then I got

to pull my finger out at apologies prior sucks like to use her for taking so long

I've done the bottom of her bag because it's the only bag

that when you list it that lifts the lid up it's going to have a whole bunch of

printing underneath which is really exciting and it's going to have rivers

and little spider webs and spiders and stuff so that's that's complete and the

shape of the bag is complete but the actual artwork for the top of the bag

which I guess is the most important element of hers I have done yet I just

tried like three or four things and was throwing a few ideas back and forth but

she hasn't liked any yet I knew that she wouldn't like him as well huh kind of

wasn't honoring her wishes I think I mentioned that before I just I don't

know I just kind of sat down and like went with the flow and the creativity

what-have-you and just came up with some stuff and then I'm like I think it's all

about it I think she's going to like it and that happened like three cantos

indicate this time I'm going to sit down I'm going to go

over all of your notes and create something that I know you will like

cause like I'm supposed to be doing right so yeah that's why I was taking a

bit longer but hers is I think everyone is every club is going to be very

special but hers with that extra little bit of printing will be a very unique

okay let's pop the blue on darker than I thought it was going to be there we go

just need to layer it up a little bit so I have to start my half thorns I got the

faux suede samples for all the the upcoming bags a bit of beat collection I

think I posted it on Instagram if you don't follow me on Instagram go go on

over there and add me I do a lot of like behind the scenes like when things

actually happen for like when there's a direct make and I came I did a live a

live IG story hunches say yeah and have you guys with me as I actually saw a bit

more I didn't tune in I film foot and that's actually what I'm getting ready

for today I'm going to film the proper release video at least the one that will

go on my channel and then the proper main one will go on drugs channel as

well like she's filming you guys need one of these little fan jersey with so

know what they called maybe just fan idiot but they're really

good foot taking off your wrist aches you want a nice electric food but yeah

okay we're talking about interior colors oh I'm a bad multitasker

they're all very beautiful I've selected the red suede for the interior of Black

Friday's bag it's like a deep red with like Drex bag once you say it he's like

bright red it says like Friday's interior is like a deep beautiful red

like blood red that's what we wanted very nice so bag like I think I've said

before is like my first handbag that I designed the femme fatale that clutch

it's like version 2.0 on steroids yeah like you buy five years later how to

redesign that bag it would be the one that I'm doing for Black Friday I think

I only have five more of those handbags list there's only like 150 made I think

about such as 50 50 50 so yeah if you if you all want to don't wait too long so

it is only five left and then they go on forever

and that's not a bad guy would get made again I don't even like deal with that

manufacturer anymore and yeah my design skills have gotten so much better

aren't you know I've moved on fine I don't like you're supposed to put

primer underneath but I find like it kinda not gets really lucky like if I do

then gunky and it just looks like wrinkles sir I can already see the blue

still there and I didn't want this I'm just going to go with that and add some

more it's really hard not to pull that stupid space yeah I don't know I've made

like a nice little circle and I need to blend up but I know if I should blend up

with black yellow heads like I just don't want it to make my eyes look small

cause that's quite a dark color and little worried about that so I'm going

to use a new blending brush I got it's just like it look for that's my job it's

that shape it's kind of circular so it's called a crease brush and you know just

keep that in definitely blind so on these because it's jet black so this is

carbon from Max feel like I'm taking off all like I'm resting my pinky I'm gonna

try not to do yeah so it's been a very exciting week

like it's always super exciting to receive in your handbag sample

especially with so much work goes into it but it's just a lot of fun as well

like now I have to take the promotional photos with Jax bag it all done up we're

going to do like matching black and red kind of photo somewhere like I'll be

exposing jacket and then I have to take the proper photos for the website so you

guys can see how awesome the bank is the price was even dearer than the raised

price of free respec hence why it's $20 more I'm not I'm not

profiteering I'm just covering the cost going to cost ten thousand dollars and I

write for us to get these bag made exert me and now we need to secure seventy

five pre-orders where rereads one was fifty really we needed more for earrings

as well so as you guys know there's a drama there and I have to put my own

money in for that it'll all work out in the end see if you've ordered the RiRi

baguette is being made what they do is they they make one they send it to me

again like a quick little sample to confirm everything because you would not

want to get 200 bags you know that I'm not completely perfect they express it

to me they've already like cut everything as soon as I confirm the

sample family they go and make those bags that's where we are with that

that's something cool could it go a bit more of a cation sir very deep rich

black I think it's Dylan says normal TV so I

have one more piece of pork furniture coming next month and it's oh good it's

a display unit which I'm going to put on my jewelry in which a client wait to

receive because like I've got all my jewelry just in this leg and then I was

like a compressor that bond board for the recording studios just like a

big-ass box I can't buy never anything like all the necklaces it tangled up

together and I've just been wearing and

I want to go to me okay what are you gonna do it

she's still beautiful oh my god lol are the monkey that's I

said oh okay a pink you want a pink thing okay no wish is my

command o much we put now such very good you want on your cheeks yeah everyone

otherwise yeah hang up Oh mommy you put on his makeup very

CHURCH | 7 Attitudes to Guard Against - Duration: 10:36.

Hey girls! Tiffany Dawn here and welcome back to Tuesday Girl Talk!

And I'm here in Lake George, New York - so it's this beautiful lake in upstate New

York and my husband has a work conference here so I'm hanging out in the

hotel room and then I'm going to go edit some videos and write some blogs

down by the lake. So I'm very excited for this little retreat - work retreat for me.

So today I want to talk about church. There's seven places that's really easy

for our hearts to go when we're in church that I think are actually very

dangerous places for our hearts to go. I've personally experienced every single

one of these seven things in my own life. I've struggled with all of them and

so I hope they can encourage you. And please comment your thoughts below as

you listen to these seven things I would love to hear: What do you think about

these things? Have you seen any of them in your heart? Is there anything you'd

add to this list? Like I want to hear your thoughts. And as always feel free to

give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and hit subscribe to see more videos

like this. So check it out!

So issue number one is an individualistic approach to church. We

really value individualism, like being your own person, not needing anybody else,

and so I think there's this emphasis in the church, like "It's just me and God."

Like I don't need anybody else; I got this; it's just me and God; we're good. And

there is a really important element to our faith of that you and God time, like

that time together is so important. But our Christian faith was always talked

about and practiced throughout history and in Scripture in the context of

community. It was actually never meant to be just you and God; it was always meant

to be you and God but then these other people in your life too.

And that takes a lot of humility. So it's really easy in a church to kind of pull

back and be like, "I don't need you people, like this is too messy," because community

is messy and some some people in church are really like messed up, like me! Because

God comes, Jesus said, "I came for the sick and I came for the hurting." Like

there's a lot of broken people in churches and it's easy to want to be

like, "Well I don't want this community, mmm no." And I do that all the time. I even

realized I kind of do that with my church right now, like like, "Well I don't

need you people, like I've got my friends like I've got my family, like I'm good.

I'm gonna just like build a little wall. Like I'll come to church but I don't want

to really get involved with your life because that's like too messy." And I'm

realizing that that is the wrong way to approach church, and yet it's what I do

all the time. And so I think when we approach church in the individualistic

perspective of it's me and God and I'm just here on Sunday; stay out of my life during

the week -- that robs us of some of the riches of what church life is meant to

be about. But those riches are only found through the messiness of community with

other broken people. Which brings me to number two, which is unforgiveness or

bitterness. And I think it's really easy to get bitter and unforgiving in church.

I know it's happened to me so many times where I'm just so angry at the church or

at certain people in it. And my mom likes to say that it's because hurting people

hurt people. And so it's true: The church is full of opportunities for

unforgiveness. It's full of places where you're hurt, or somebody says something

or does something and you feel ignored or neglected or whatever. And it's so

important to practice forgiveness and just extending that love of God and

being like, "I'm gonna let this go; I'm going to give this to God." And I think in order

for this to make the most sense I would encourage you to watch my video about

how to forgive, because forgiveness is not about putting yourself in harm's way

again and again, or like trusting people who aren't worthy of your trust.

Forgiveness is simply giving it to God and saying, "Lord I let this go." And number

three is group think. It's very easy to be individualistic but it's also very

easy to fall into this group think, where everybody believes a certain way or the

pastor preached it this way, and so it must be true - and starting to base your

life off of what everybody else is doing. And that's also a very dangerous place

to be. Like you should always be thinking for yourself and searching out the Bible

to see if what has been taught in your church is actually true. And you should

surround yourself with people who do the same thing, like finds and close friends

and mentors who also are thinking for themselves and searching out the Bible

to see if these things are true, and not just going with what everybody else is

doing. Number four is where I want to spend a

little more time, and it is celebrity seeking. And this goes in two directions.

So the first one is when we are the ones seeking some kind of celebrity status.

We're we're the ones seeking to be seen. I'll give you an example from my own

life. I remember being at a church and leading a song in worship. And I'd led

worship before at other churches, but this was a church I hadn't led at before.

It was one of their campuses and it was a larger church, and I remember just

leading out and feeling like, "Yeah!" - affirmed like, I'm good enough, I can be a

leader. And I remember getting in my car afterwards and feeling like God just

said, spoke to my heart, like, "Tiffany tonight was all about you. It wasn't

about Me." And I felt like He was asking me to not lead a song the next morning.

And I knew there's someone else who could do it; it wouldn't put anybody else

out, but I didn't want to give it up because I wanted to be seen. And what God

has been teaching me over the past few years is if I'm looking to be

seen by other people and to gain their approval, there will always be this part

of me that's never satisfied. It will never be enough. The only place that I

can find satisfaction is in knowing that He sees me; looking to an audience of one

in a sense, instead of wanting to be seen by everybody else. So that's the one side

of celebrity seeking. The other side is where we go to church to see a celebrity.

And it's almost like we worship the pastor or the worship leader, and not

even realizing we do it, but it's like we put them on this pedestal. We think

they're just so awesome, and if they invite us to hang out with them and their

friends it's like we're so cool. And we're always like name-dropping and like

I was at so-and-so's house this week and I was at so-and-so's house, and it's like

another sense of we want to be seen but we want to be seen through the people

were seen with. And that's celebrity seeking. It's not meant to be a celebrity! Like

Jesus is our celebrity, you know what I mean? Like we all have our role in

the church, but it's all for one head of the church which is Jesus. And so when we

start to make people into celebrities and have the celebrity mentality in our

churches, that's a very unhealthy place to be, because we start worshipping

people instead of worshipping our God. Which brings us to number five, which is

setting healthy boundaries. So our generation is really looking for

affirmation. A lot of us don't have good parents or good fathers and we're

looking for someone who can be that father or that mother figure - someone who

can approve of us and affirm us, and a lot of times we can find that in the church,

which is really awesome! But sometimes we are looking for it so much that we don't

set any boundaries in our own lives. So I've seen it happen in different

churches where they're always looking for volunteers - like there's so much to

be done and there's never enough people and so if somebody is willing to just give

and give and give, they will let you just a give and give and give. A lot of places

don't think to encourage you, "Are you actually okay in your life? Like you need

to set some boundaries!" And I've seen people whose marriages have started

falling apart because they sold their soul to the church and they didn't set

any healthy boundaries, to say, "No like I need to put my marriage first before all

this volunteer work at church," you know? I need to put my relationship with God

first. And serving in church is such a good thing.

I think there's also the extreme of never serving and never helping in any

way that also isn't healthy. But when we are just always there, like we have to

put other things first sometimes, like your walk with God, your marriage, your

family - like those things come before volunteering in church. And the

other thing is sometimes we get so caught up in just volunteering at church

that we're not even out meeting people who don't know the Lord, you know? Like

we're supposed to be showing God's love to people who don't know God, but if

you're just volunteering in church every night of the week, like when are you

gonna do that? Okay so here's the next one. Is this number five or number six?

Number six, don't expect perfection. Beth Moore once said that if a church was

perfect, then as soon as she walked in it would no longer be perfect. And I love

that because it's so true. All of us are broken, all of us are flawed, none of us

are perfect. And we are all part of the church together, so no church is going to

be perfect. Now I'm not saying that you need to go to a church that you just

like hate being there, you know? Or like if music is a big thing for you, I'm not

saying you have to go to church where the music is from the 80s, you know what

I mean? But like it's important to realize that no church will be perfect

and we ourselves are not perfect so we're part of the imperfections of our

church community. And the very last thing I want to share with you is cynicism. And

this is something I've seen a lot in my own heart. And basically cynicism is just

believing that everybody's out there for the good of them themselves, and not

trusting that any of them actually mean what they say. And the irony is that I'm

also that way. Like I also am self-serving in so many ways, and yet I

just look at other people and think that they're all out for themselves. And so

it's easy for me to be cynical about the church, and to just think like it's just

there to like make people into little clones and be celebrities and blah blah,

right? What I've been learning is that God is not cynical. Like we're cynical

because we have some of the information but we don't have God's huge perspective.

God, I really believe God is not cynical. Like you see how patient He is with us,

how long-suffering. I was in this worship service one time and I remember feeling

like it was just such a show. Like I was like, "Oh my goodness, like do these people

even like care about worshipping Jesus or is this just a

show to be seen," you know? And part of that was my own cynicism - a lot of that

was my own cynicism. And I felt like God just put in my heart like, "They're not

perfect, but I work through them anyway. They're

not perfect, but I'm glorified in it anyway." Just in the way that I'm not

perfect, but He's glorified in me anyway. And He's way bigger than that. Like all

our shortcomings, all our failings, like they don't limit God, you know what I

mean? Like He's limitless; He's huge! And so just because things aren't perfect

doesn't mean that God can't work in it. So friends thank you so much for being

here with me today and I hope that these things can really encourage you. I know I

personally have struggled with every single one of these seven things, and I

think they're easy to struggle with. And so if you're struggling with them, I

encourage you to bring them to God. Start talking with Him about them. Start

talking with one of your mentors or your close friends about them. See how you can

kind of work through it. And it does take time and we're not perfect and that's

okay; God is still working in our lives. So have an amazing day and I look forward

to seeing you again on Friday. Bye!

Virtus.pro at EPICENTER: Moscow: "A dream have to be unattainable"–An interview with No[o]ne |Dota 2 - Duration: 9:12.

Hi, Vova! We've prepared some fan questions for you. We got them from VP's social page, and I'm going to ask them now.

Are you ready to answer?

What if I say no? – You don't have any options. Let's go, shall we? – Let's go.

First question, very odd and interesting.

When you're playing in tournaments, do you have any specific favorite places in the booth or onstage?

Does someone make a point of sitting in the same place?

A special sitting arrangement was made for us—it probably just happened to be what it was—

which we find comfortable sitting in. We stick to it now.

Who do you always sit between? – Between Pasha and Lil.

Who among your teammates has become your biggest friend in the time that you've been playing together?

I guess it's the same for everyone, but if I have to mention someone in particular, then Pasha, I guess.

Simply because it sometimes happens that we share the same hotel room.

Or, more precisely, it always happens.

Pasha himself told us that he lives and hangs out with you because there's always something to talk about with you.

That's why you two get on well together, it turns out.

Please tell us about your first games as a professional player.

What team were you on perhaps, what tournaments you were in: your first steps in the pro scene.

It's quite hard to remember. It must have been with Team Ask, against MYM—Meet Your Makers.

I no longer remember exactly what happened there, when, or how. So I'm sorry. I just can't remember.

And how many years ago was it?

I don't know. Three years, three and a half.

How did your esports career affect your life? What changed?

We travel around the world all the time—for tournaments, for bootcamps—so naturally

I haven't spent a lot of time at home lately.

Over the past six months, I was only [home] for one month out of the six.

Essentially that's all. It's the only difference between me and a regular Dota player.

That, and the fact that we play all the time, always sitting in front of computers. Compared to a normal person.

I've just thought of a question myself. You see, just the other day, I came across this discussion, about how–

–a professional Dota player, when walking up onstage, is thinking,

"right, I'm going to make a million now." And it's the only thing driving them.

Could you add to that idea?

I feel it's completely untrue, a bunch of lies, and what actually happens is altogether different.

What do you guys really think when you're walking up onstage?

Not sure about "you guys", it'll just be what I think, as everyone is different.

I can't know what some other player is thinking during their entrance.

Personally, I think about how to win, and how cool it would be if I won.

The money—well, obviously, it gives the game significance, as we all play to win.

And the money is just a prize, which is what we essentially play for sometimes.

How can I put it. The money always fades into the background. Compared to–

You don't think about money in-game.

Thinking "right, I'm going to last-hit this creep now and get a million dollars for it"—it's certainly not like that.

What you're thinking is, "I'm going to last-hit that creep, then this or that happens, and we win, awesome, a team, victorious."

Pity we didn't win.

You'll win yet, it's going to be fine. A phrase or a quote that motivates you?

Some famous words perhaps, or something personal of your own, some motto in life.

I guess, "to live in spite of all, welcoming whatever there is".

Interesting, philosophical. Profound.

"What are your plans for your future life if you win The International?"

is what people want to know in the comments.

No particular plans really. You never think about, well–

I have a dream. I generally feel that a dream must be unattainable.

But it's not a problem if it is possible to attain.

Because you put all your effort into getting to it, achieving it.

And if I do win, then we'll see.

I don't think about it. Perhaps I'll even go on playing, I don't know yet.

Perhaps I'll end my career and start doing something else. Who knows.

Another question. What hero and what player are the most difficult to oppose on mid?

A difficult question, as it doesn't have a specific answers.

There is probably no such hero o player. It depends on our hero setup against the opponent.

On the combo. – You can put it like that too.

Why has your skill increased so much on this particular roster, the Virtus.pro roster?

I've actually always played at roughly the same level.

It's just that this roster doesn't have any weak spots—well, almost none, and our stronger sides prevail over them.

And we win.

We've been on an upward path so far. When everything is bad—which hopefully doesn't happen, fingers crossed—then we'll see.

What does Virtus.pro mean to you?

Is it your team, or has it become more than just a team?

Are there moments when you feel like sharing something with your teammates even more readily–

–than you would with your close friends or family members?

Well, essentially they're my second family. In a manner of speaking, of course.

We constantly spend time together, hang out, crack jokes, etc. etc. That's the answer, essentially.

Do the guys help you get through some depressing moments, or some ups and downs?

You know, when you're feeling really down, and you can truly find support among your teammates.

I do everything myself.

If I'm feeling down, I confront it on my own and sort it out, if that's the right term.

Volodya here is a rock-hard man. A question from the town of Voskresensk; my favorite question actually.

How do you prefer to eat sandwiches: ham side up or down?

Never thought about it. That's my answer. – All right. We'll be sure to tell.

Vova, how did you decide that the mid lane was your thing? Have you tried other roles?

I've answered this question many times before. When I was just beginning to play Dota, I saw Na`Vi,

I saw that Dendi was super-popular on mid.

Winning against everyone. And essentially all midlaners are like that; they're always popular when the team's doing well.

Well, almost always.

That was why I decided to play in that role. And it worked for me somehow.

I went on and on and on. And here I am.

Could you recollect some really funny thing that happened during a game, a match, a tournament–

–one that you remember to this day and laugh like crazy about it. The hands-down funniest moment of them all.

You don't get funny moments in the booth. It's all serious. Well, except when–

Nah, there hasn't been anything that would make us literally laugh and so on, and keep thinking back to it. No such thing.

What book or event influenced you in a formative way,

and how do I avoid tilting during important games? That's all one question.

A book, Three Comrades by Remarque. A very good book which I read about a year ago by now.

It was a significant influence.

An event… I'm not going to talk about it. What was the third question?

What helps against tilting during important games?

I never tilt. Only in CWs.

Official statement: Vladimir Minenko never tilts.

How long does it take on average to practice a strategy?

It's different every time. There was the strategy we played against iG in the Boston Major semifinal

—that time, we only practiced it three times–

–before realizing it was a super-strong strategy that would only work once in the tournament, but it would work 100%.

Other strategies can take ten to twenty games to hone.

And a final question, a shiningly optimistic one.

What was your dream as a kid, and has it come true?

There was a lot in my childhood, I can't remember everything. No, it hasn't. I suppose.

And did you perhaps dream of getting to the pro scene as a kid?

All right, this one has come true. I didn't dream of it as such, I just thought I had what it took to do it. It wasn't a dream.

Thank you, Vova. I think our fans—was this what you meant to show?

No, no. – What's up with your finger then? – My finger? Well, I cut it this morning.

Accidentally peeled some skin right off it with my razor.

Stay whole, Vova. Now hurry up and go prepare for the next games, heal your finger, make sure

no enemies attack your playing hand anymore.

There. And good luck to you in the rest of the group stage. Thanks for your answers.
